Video: Pamela Geller’s banned speech In Texas

This comes via the Lady herself:

For those of you who do not like the idea of posting what Pamela has to say; I have two things to say —- first, as Herman Cain would say, “I does not care.”  Also, I would say to those who would have a problem with me posting this video, I would politely ask you to go see Helen Waite and ask for directions.

God Bless America.

Obama supported company gets U.S. Loan and builds cars…. In Finland

This ought to be a lesson to every last Democrat who voted for Obama and Biden.

The Video:

The Story:

With the approval of the Obama administration, an electric car company that received a $529 million federal government loan guarantee is assembling its first line of cars in Finland, saying it could not find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work.

Vice President Joseph Biden heralded the Energy Department’s $529 million loan to the start-up electric car company called Fisker as a bright new path to thousands of American manufacturing jobs. But two years after the loan was announced, the job of assembling the flashy electric Fisker Karma sports car has been outsourced to Finland.

“There was no contract manufacturer in the U.S. that could actually produce our vehicle,” the car company’s founder and namesake told ABC News. “They don’t exist here.”

Henrik Fisker said the U.S. money so far has been spent on engineering and design work that stayed in the U.S., not on the 500 manufacturing jobs that went to a rural Finnish firm, Valmet Automotive.

“We’re not in the business of failing; we’re in the business of winning. So we make the right decision for the business,” Fisker said. “That’s why we went to Finland.”

via Car Company Gets U.S. Loan, Builds Cars In Finland – ABC News.

Here is the real-world translation to that last line in that story; we did not want to have to deal with the labor unions in this United States, so we moved our manufacturing overseas.

Take note my Democratic Party friends who happen to read this blog, all two of you.  This is what happens to the Democrats and their union counterparts, when they elect internationalist Democrats, who really do not give a care about what happens to American workers.  Internationalist Democrats and their Republican counterparts, the globalists — like Richard Nixon, who do not care about American workers, they are corporatists, who support crony capitalism.

This right here is a perfect example of why the relations between the Democratic Party and the labor unions are frosty at best.  That is because the Democratic Party for the last few instances that they have won elections, have been putting internationalist Democrats into the White House.  This type of a Democrat talks a nice game, and puts out platitudes to the American autoworkers and their representatives in the unions; but when the “Rubber hits the road” so to speak, things change.  They begin showing their true colors and start doing things to kick dirt in the face of the American worker.

I do not write this as a Conservative mocking the left, goodness no.  I write this as someone who has a father, who is a retired General Motors worker, who is a member of the UAW.  If anyone would know how the Democratic Party has treated the American autoworker in the last 30 years, it would be me.  There was a time in this Country, when the Democratic Party used to respect the American autoworker and would literally step in front a train to defend them.  Sadly, that time has passed, as the unions have lost their influence amongst the Democratic Party.

The loss of that influence in the Democratic Party is partially due to the actions of the internationalist Democrats, like Bill Clinton, who signed into law NAFTA and TAFTA.  Some of that loss of influence is also due to the declining membership roles within the UAW and other said unions.  Either way, it is sad transition in America, when our politicians in Washington D.C. put interests abroad before interests here at home.

Some of my readers, all three of you, might be shocked to see that I do not take a more mocking tone on stories like this and here is why I do not; Pat Buchanan said it best once, on one issue that I actually agree with him on — the American worker.  Pat once said, “As goes Detroit, goes the Nation,” and you know what?  Pat Buchanan is right about that, the United States of America used to be a manufacturing marvel.  We produced everything ourselves, and other Countries used to come here to see how we did it all.  Sadly, those times have come and gone, due to many reasons, a list of which is longer than the length of this blog entry will permit.

What is solution you ask, I know what it is; but most of the people who will come here to read, will not agree with it.  However, I will give the solution.  Firstly, the solution is NOT to bust up the unions, as they have as much right to proper representation, as the company owners have a right to make a profit.  The solution to the problem is to get rid of these idiotic so-called “Free Trade” agreements.  Secondly, the solution is to impose strict tariffs on EVERYTHING and I do mean everything that is manufactured overseas and imported into our Country.

These actions would do a couple of things; firstly it would protect the American workers from the globalists who want to undercut the American worker to make a quick dollar on the backs of cheap sweatshop labor in foreign countries like China.  Secondly, it would solve our Nation’s revenue problem by creating a reliable source of income; one of which we did have in this Country for a very long time, before the globalists ripped it out, in favor of trade agreements.

Further, the solution is in whom we elect; Republicans and Democrats alike need to elect those who put America’s interests first, and not the interests who those abroad.  To be fair, Republicans have done this too in this past and we as Americans need to watch what these new crop of Republicans really represent; do they represent the interests of the crony capitalists or do they have the American people’s interests in mind?  Supposedly, the Tea Party movement brought some of this “America First” type of populism to the Conservative movement, but as of late, it seems that the Tea Party was nothing more than a passing fad.  I just hope the people, who went to these protests, use the principles that were promoted at the Tea Party rallies, at the ballot box come November 2012.

Was the Tea Party just a bunch of Hot Air?

As you all know, I am operating under a new set of rules now; so, I have to be very careful about how I word things now. Basically, I believe this below to be about Mitt Romney and less about the Tea Party. The problem with Romney, outside of being a flip-flopper, has his own set of problems, that Christian Conservatives, Republicans, and Tea Party people should be very worried about, and that my friends is not bigotry, it is the truth.

Scott Galupo writes:

I think the rest of the answer lies in the Tea Party itself.

About a year ago, I wondered whether the Tea Party was something to respect and/or fear, as it seemed to be throughout 2009 and into the 2010 primary season, or if it was “just a bloc of conventional conservatives in anti-authoritarian drag.”

Twelve months later, the question answers itself.

The Tea Party is/was composed primarily of religious conservatives, seniors worried about Obamacare’s impact on Medicare, and anti-immigrant curmudgeons. The libertarian ethos the movement projected was an utter fiction, and one that the national press corps briefly lent credence to.

In her Iowa speech last month, former Gov. Sarah Palin offered a fleeting glimpse of what the Tea Party was supposed to represent—a transpartisan attack on the bosom buddies Big Government and Big Business. More recently, Conor Friedersdorf muses quixotically about what a potential Tea Party-Occupy Wall Street alliance would look like.

The problem is Tea Partyers, as conventional conservatives, were never intellectually prepared to deliver on this threat. There’d been talk about ending corporate welfare in Republican circles for years. The TARP bailouts added a powerful new ingredient to this critique.

But when it came down to it, what did Wall Street and corporate America ever have to fear from the Tea Party? Lower corporate taxes and regulatory rollback? Seriously?

If CEO types truly fear a freer free market, why do they constantly complain on the shout shows of being “handcuffed” by Washington? And for crying out loud, didn’t I watch the Tea Party movement go viral on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade?

The Tea Party, ultimately, had nothing new to say.

Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Herman Cain can take a measure of comfort in this fact when their candidacies eventually conclude.

via The Tea Party Was Just a Giant Temper Tantrum –Plugin Scott Galupo (usnews.com).

As for the Tea Party, I had wrote a while back that I was skeptical of the actual movement itself. The problem was that the Tea Party movement itself was co-opted by Republican operative organizations like freedomworks and the like. At that point, is when the grassroots stopped controlling the movement and the beltway crowd started controlling it.

As for his comments about Herman Cain; there are quit wrong, Herman Cain is the current frontrunner in the Primary race, and unless this guy is trying to be an underhanded racist, I believe his comment is way off. I mean it is bad enough, that we have liberal blacks attacking Herman Cain, now he has to be attacked from a so-called Conservative, from the right? I mean, the guy worked for freaking John Bonher, what does that tell you?

I will say this; if Herman Cain does eventually withdraw from the primary race; it will not be because he did not try. It will be because of the liberal controlled and owned media destroyed him and because of the Republican establishment, who still has not completely gotten over the days of Trent Lott and his ilk — simply refused to acknowledge him as a serious contender. I will also give a warning to the Republican establishment, if you reject Herman Cain and he does end up going back to Atlanta, you will never live it down. As the Liberal Media and the Democratic Party will never, ever let you live that down. It does not matter what the Liberal blacks did, that will never be brought up, but what will be brought up is how a white-controlled and financed political party, basically told a black CEO to “get real buckwheat.” and proceeded to try and discredit him. Trust me, it will happen, the left is just waiting for the outcome of the race.

Video: Does Mitt Romney believe that he is literally going to become a god?

It is a question that all Conservative, Republican and Tea Party voters need to know.

The Video of the Interview:

The Story via WorldNetDaily.com:

The daughter of a Mormon bishop who has abandoned her family’s faith claims in a new book the election of Mitt Romney to the presidency would put the U.S. in danger due to what she calls the Republican’s “outrageous,” “horrific” and “mind-controlling” beliefs.

“While he attempts to portray Mormonism as just another Christian religion, Mitt Romney counts on his skills to shift our attention away from what he truly believes,” says Tricia Erickson, author of “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America.”

“If the American people knew what he truly believed, they would surely not place him in the highest office in the land.”

Yet others, such as professor Richard Bushman, a Mormon and previous missionary himself who has taught at Harvard, Columbia and Brown Universities, are defending the faith. He calls Erickson “disillusioned” and someone who “instead of walking away felt an obligation to discredit [her] former faith.”

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the official name for Mormonism, has rocketed into the national consciousness this month since Rev. Robert Jeffress, a Rick Perry supporter who pastors the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, said Romney was “not a Christian” and that Mormonism is a “cult.”

“Part of a pastor’s job is to warn his people and others about false religions,” Jeffress said Sunday, standing by his controversial remarks. “Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Mormonism are all false religions.”

In her book, Erickson paints an unflattering picture of the Mormon faith, which counts not only the former Massachusetts governor as a member, but also fellow GOP presidential contender Jon Huntsman, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., radio talk-show host Glenn Beck, singer Gladys Knight, actresses Amy Adams and Katherine Heigl, “Napoleon Dynamite” actor Jon Heder, entertainers Donny and Marie Osmond, and sports stars including the NFL’s Steve Young, Danny White and Merlin Olsen.

Erickson goes on to expose the insane beliefs of the Mormons and tell about her horrifying experience in that cult:

Erickson says Romney believes:

He will become a “god” in the afterlife and be given his own planet

Satan is Jesus’ literal brother

Jesus was not born of a virgin birth

He will be given his own afterlife kingdom where he will have sexual relations with his wife, Ann, to populate his kingdom with spirit children as God the Father Himself has a wife on His own planet.

“Mormonism teaches we pre-existed on God the Father’s planet as spirit children before we were planted in our mother’s wombs,” Erickson told WND. “And the reason why we’re here according to Mormonism, is so that we can work out our own progression to godhood and our own planets themselves.”

The author, who herself was married in a Mormon temple at age 19 but now considers herself a non-denominational Christian, says there’s a secret agenda Mormon officials don’t like to talk about publicly.

“A complete takeover of the government,” she said. “They have more people in the CIA, the FBI. They have an employment office for Mormons in D.C. to be able to infiltrate them into the government.”

“They’ve been trying since the beginning to get someone in the presidency, because they believe they have to establish their authority so when Jesus comes to Earth, the Mormon Church will take control of the government and the Mormons will be the government of God on Earth,” she continued.

Erickson says her main concern is that the leader of the free world have the ability to discern fact from fiction.

“It may be crucial to our survival,” she said. “If his beliefs are distorted, which they unequivocally are, why would it not be be critical to our existence to protect our country from being placed in the hands of such a person?”

When asked for specific rituals she considers bizarre, Erickson claims Romney and other Mormons take part in clandestine marriage ceremonies involving “outrageous” customs. Explaining her own Mormon wedding, she says she was forced to completely disrobe against her will.

“It was horrific,” she told WND. “There I was standing naked. They brought this bowl of water, and started washing my body down and whispering prayers over my body. They stopped over the right and left breast, the navel and knees and prayed specific prayers.”

To help ensure the general public did not learn details of the rituals, she says believers took a symbolic knife to feign their own murder if members spilled the beans of what really goes on behind closed doors.

“They actually had us slashing our guts open and our guts falling to the ground if we told people of the secret dogma of the ceremonies,” Erickson said.

“Mitt is not a casual Mormon,” she told online interviewer Thom Hartmann, noting Romney has reached the upper echelons of the faith. “There is no way that he will be able to not listen to the [Mormon] prophet. His eternal salvation depends on it. He has to put the church first over country.”

Here is a video that also shows what Mormon’s truly believe:

[podcast format=”video”]http://saintsalive.com//images/stories/videos/featured.flv[/podcast]

As much as I would like to say that this is the first time that I have heard this; it is not, this young lady is not the only person to have told stories like this about the Mormon Cult. Another well-known author, speaker and former Mormon, Ed Decker has exposed the Mormon cult for what it truly is.

Here is Ed Decker’s testimony of how he came out of the Mormon Cult:

[podcast]http://saintsalive.com/plugins/content/jw_allvideos/includes/download.php?file=images/stories/audio/outofmormonism.mp3[/podcast]

Here is another very, very, interesting radio program with Ed Decker. It is about the Free Masons and the founding of America. The Free Masons and the Mormon Church are joined at the hip. Please listen to this, you will find it very interesting. The show is from the early 1990’s, I believe anyhow. The show and the ministry which Ed appeared on went bankrupt in the 1990’s and went off the air. Ironically, the host’s wife died of cancer; she was diagnosed, not long after this show was broadcast.

The next book that I very highly recommend, is actually a comic book. It is a part of the “Crusader’s” series of Comic by a man, who I have much respect for; his name is Jack Chick:

Click here to read a sample of this hard hitting comic!

Here is the comic that I recommend that ALL Republicans, Conservatives and Tea Party people read:

I also recommend that all Christians, Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Party folk read this pamphlet here.

I also recommend you buy the Book of the person referenced above:

I also recommend the following books on the subject too:

Republicans need to know the truth; this is the way to it.

Thanks for reading.

Palin: Time to “reload for America”

God Bless this Woman for having the courage to stand for Christian Morals. I admit it, the idea of her being President, after abruptly leaving office in Alaska was not a good idea. However, I do admire the woman for having the courage to stand against the liberals and take the punishment from the left — and also from people on the right, like me, who thought she should not be President. I think Palin will be a player for a very long time. As I wrote before, I also think she should run for Senate. Then, maybe President in 2016. She has a good message, she just needs to build a resume.

The Story:

During a speech focusing on faith and family, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin called for the “restoration of America” during the Extraordinary Women Conference at Liberty University in Lynchburg Saturday.

Palin’s 90-minute speech veered from stories about moose hunting to Tea Party politics to the challenge of raising a son with Down syndrome. Her message centered on the importance of having faith in God and steering America “back on the right track.”

“Now isn’t the time to retreat, now is the time to reload with truth so we can fight for this country and reload for America,” she said to more than 10,000 Christian women who traveled from across the country to hear her speak.

The theme for the evangelical Christian women’s conference was “extraordinary hope,” and Palin quipped:

“I’m talking about real hope, not that hopey changey stuff that some politicians try to get you go believe in.”

The visit was Palin’s first to Liberty, and hotels across the region sold out for the event.

via Palin says it’s time to “reload for America” | The News & Advance.

Of course, you know that the liberal media; who lives under the whole “Eeek! Guns!” mentality will blast her for using gun phrasing. But real Americans, like me, know what she is talking about — which is why I run this blog and have ran it for 5 years with little or not pay at all. (in the beginning, there was NO pay, at all.)  Because I love this Country, Because I very highly disagree with what the President is doing with this Country, because I want this Country to be what it was, when I was kid. That is why I — we are here, and a wake up call to the liberal left — we are not going away either. You may try and stop us; but we true Americans — are not going anywhere.

Update: Two things I find link worthy.

First this, from the crawdad hole:

I guess the people like Andy Sullivan and his ilk are gonna be unhappy, because Sarah apparently has no intention of going away. I have to wonder what would have happened if they had just left her alone when she first went back to Alaska after the 2008 elections.

I happen to agree with that. Sully is was way too harsh on her and still is; I can understand wanting to get to the truth; but he has a very unnatural obsession with destroying her. It was terrible. I think it has more to do with her Christianity, than anything else.

Secondly, a rare occurrence here on political byline. I am going to disagree with a fellow Conservative blogger.

William A. Jacobson writes:

I think there’s a lot of truth there.  Palin frequently is depicted as someone who sought out the spotlight and was a publicity hound, but the reality is that circumstances found her, not the other way around.

What if Palin had been allowed to function as Governor without the relentless attacks from the likes of Andrew Sullivan, various anti-Palin bloggers, the media, establishment Republicans, and frequent-filers of frivolous ethics complaints?

Attacking Palin became an industry, and when she fought back she was blamed.  The derangement started the day she was designated by John McCain as the VP nominee, and it continues to this day from small people like David Frum.

Palin  didn’t bring it on herself, but having found herself in the cross-hairs, she fought back.  Good on her.

This is where I must disagree. Well, partially. The part I underlined and turned red is the part that I disagree with. Let me explain myself, least a blog war break out; and believe me, I really do not want that! 😯 Anyhow, there were times, when Sarah Palin, to use a phrase, shot herself in the foot. Mainly it had to do with messaging. Now, whether that was Sarah Palin’s fault or not; is another story. I believe a good amount of that was due to her poor handling in the beginning, by the McCain campaign and by the people who were originally advising her after the 2008 campaign.

The good thing is, that now, Palin has some very good people, giving her some very good advice — and it shows, greatly.

UPDATED: Video: Lawrence O’Donnell’s racist and condescending interview of Herman Cain

I do not know where to begin with this video.

First, Lawrence O’Donnell tries to accuse Herman Cain of draft dodging. Then, he accuses him of various idiot things. Not to mention the “Citizen Cain” in the Chyron at the bottom of the screen.  Not to mention the whole condescending tone of the entire video.

There is only one thing that comes to my mind, when watching these videos — Racism. 😡

I mean, could you just imagine, if a Fox News Channel anchor had handled an interview like this, with a black man? There would be protests outside of the News Corp. Building, Fox News Channels studios in New York, and Al Sharpton would be calling for Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch’s head!

Here are the videos, all three parts. You watch these video and you tell me, if they are not racist or not.

Via Mediaite:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Again, watch the videos and think about if Fox News or any other Conservative outlet sounded this condescending or used “Citizen Cain” as a Chyron. What could the reaction be? I think we all know the answer.

Nothing pisses me off worse, than to watch a privileged white man, who happens to be a liberal; berate a black man, all because he happens to disagree with his politics. That is an outrage and if the Conservative media, including Fox News Channel, ever pulled a stunt like that, there would be riots in the streets. But because Mr. Herman Cain is a Conservative black man — it is perfectly fine. Hell, even this self-hating black man thinks its fine. What an asshole, what a traitor to the back race — sort of like this Murdering, race-hustling, jack ass, who is now dead.

This is another fine reason why I stopped voting for the Democrats, because it is like LBJ said himself:

I’ll have them niggers voting for democrats for 300 years!

…and you know what? The Democrats are keeping ’em voting Democratic Party; with hand outs and yes, with Brainwashing.

Update: Even the liberals at DailyKos are not happy with the interview: (H/T Flopping Aces)

1) When you think of Herman Cain, do you ever find yourself thinking, “gee, he was a black teen in the early-1960s. Why didn’t he participate in civil rights movement?” I’m not an African-American and wasn’t alive in the ’60s, but so what if he didn’t? I am not sure what the implication is there, but was it incumbent upon ever African-American to march? And does not participating in the civil rights movement imply … what? I suppose it might be a fairer question to ask a white person who was around in that era, but only slightly.

I’m going to go out on a limb and presume that Herman Cain was opposed to segregation.

2) Out of nowhere, O’Donnell asked Cain, who worked (but did not serve) in the Navy, whether he was qualified to be Commander-in-Chief after not serving in Vietnam. Really?! Is this still a thing? I have a hard time believing that O’Donnell genuinely cares about Cain’s lack of military service (Clinton and Obama never served), but was possibly trying to posit him as a hypocrite. But that’s kind of hard to do when, while not exactly serving, he was working in ballistics for the Navy.

Seemed like a completely disingenuous line of questioning on O’Donnell’s part, and made me cringe.

Niggerhead

I really had no intention of writing about this silly story; but, because it is to the point that it is starting to sound ridiculous, I felt some commentary was warranted.

Firstly, my positions:

  1. I am not a Rick Perry fan boy
  2. I think this whole “NiggerHead” story is borderline tabloid news nonsense
  3. I do not honestly believe that Rick Perry is a racist — like the Democrats in Texas.

Look, I think this sort of “Guilt by association” thing is nuts — to a point.  What I mean is this — it is one thing to be a part of a Church, who’s Pastor says things, such as “God Damn America” and you, your wife and kids go there and interact with those people.  It is another entirely to try to tie someone to, of all things — a rock, that was painted over long before you even rented the property.

Furthermore, I think Conservatives who are attacking Herman Cain need to shut up.  Herman Cain is a black man and I do believe that entitles the man to make any comment about race or racism that he sees fit make, if he so feels fit to do so.  Besides all of that, Herman Cain said he was not playing the race card and I do tend to believe him.  Herman Cain is not Al Sharpton my friends, nor is he Louis Farrakhan; and I believe Conservatives should not be reacting to Herman Cain’s comments as if he is Louis Farrakhan or Al Sharpton either.

My biggest issue with Rick Perry is from Texas and that he possesses a bit of that Texas swagger.  The United States of America, nor the Republican Party, nor the Conservative movement need another Texas swagger leader again.  We had that for eight years in this Country and it did nothing for this Country, at all.  We found this out with Iraq, the bailouts, no child left behind and all of the rest of the former President’s blunders.  Granted, this current President makes the former look like a Rhodes Scholar.  However, I do not wear partisan blinders and I know full of the blunders of the last President.  My question to all of you is; do we want that….again?

Thus is the conflict of conservative politics — purity versus electability.  If conservative politics were drugs, Ron Paul is Persian white heroin.  The problem is this; Ron Paul addicts, as it were, just love him.  The rest of us, are scared to death of him and his foreign policy!  Therefore, to be clear here, I am, by no means, a Bill Kristol or a John Podhoretz type, when it comes to foreign policy — but a little common sense is needed when dealing with the Middle East.  I will not belabor the point; I think you all know what I mean here.  (I hope!)

Simply put, purity over electability will be the death knell of the Republican Party.  Just ask anyone who was around in 1964 in the Republican Party.

Michele Bachmann’s campaign sputters

It is a sad thing, but I knew it was coming:

Reporting from Des Moines—

Michele Bachmann’s appearance on a talk radio show here should have been a breeze. Ronald Reagan was a sportscaster at the station in his early days, and his memorabilia is sprinkled around the office. The host was a friendly conservative.

But Bachmann repeatedly was asked the central question for her campaign: Does she have to win Iowa’s caucuses to keep her presidential campaign alive? She danced around an answer, saying she planned to win, until finally relenting when asked a third time whether failure would doom her effort.

“No, no, no, no,” Bachmann said, her voice growing uncertain. “Not necessarily; we might go on.”

It was a rare moment of audible frustration for the Minnesota congresswoman, and the break in her perennially cheery demeanor demonstrated just how much her bid does rest on Iowa.

After she formally announced her candidacy at her birthplace of Waterloo, about 100 miles northeast of here, Bachmann surged, capping the summer with a win at the straw poll in Ames. Since then, her candidacy has sputtered.

via Michele Bachmann’s campaign is sputtering in Iowa – latimes.com.

—–

To be quite honest with you, I never really thought that Bachmann would get anywhere. That because the woman just had no substance at all. Not to mention her record is a bit light. She was, essentially, Sarah Palin with time served. Which is quite cruel to say; but it is the truth.

Now for my Conservative Christian viewpoint:

As most of you know, I am a Fundamentalist Baptist, King James Bible and all that. Anyhow, the reason why are not more Conservative Christian women running for office? Because most of them are not feminists and are busy staying at home and raising their children. Instead of throwing their principles into the wind and doing what obviously should be a man’s job.

I know it sounds horrible; but hey, there was a time, when it was not considered to be Conservative for a woman to run for office. I happen to be of that “Old School” mindset, that happens to believe that it still should be that way. 😀

Tea Party Racism?

I am not someone who likes to play the race card or even assert a racist charge, because that is the left’s game.  However, I saw this; and I thought, “wait a second….”

I happened to read over at HotAir.com, a news item by Tina (original politico story here…) about the founder of Tea Party Nation’s founder Judson Phillips, who endorsed Newt Gingrich. My issue is not with the endorsement, but with some of the words used. I will make those words very clear here and explain why they bother me:

Tea Party Nation founder and CEO Judson Phillips has endorsed Newt Gingrich in the Republican primary, he writes in a blog post.

“Newt is electable. If you have seen the GOP debates, Gingrich has been the best debater. He does really well in that format and he looks Presidential,” Phillips, a former Tennessee district attorney who founded Tea Party Nation in 2009, wrote.

Here is a picture of the “Presidential Looking”   Newt Gingrich:

Newt Gingrich

…and a picture of the Florida Straw poll winner, Herman Cain:

Herman Cain

What I want to know from Mr. Judson Phillips is this; what does he mean by “Looking Presidential?” I want him or anyone else in the Republican Party or in the Tea Party movement to define those terms. Because I am going to remind everyone of this — we are the party of Lincoln and when we start using terms like this; which could very well be underhanded racism — we bring a discredit to the Tea Party movement, which admittedly by Fox News, has already started fading out. The Republican Party is supposed to be the party of racial, class and Christian unity. However, when it see words like this; it trips my radar a little.

My point is this, we do not need to start fostering a “Trent Lott” mentality in the Republican Party. We see how well that worked out for them in the past. For the record, yes, I have criticized Herman Cain in the past, when I thought it was deserved; but this sort of idiotic nonsense is uncalled for, and I think Mr. Phillips needs to explain just what he meant by what he said.  Further more, I left the Democratic Party, because of the class warfare, the disunity between the races and the “Pot Stirring” between the races. I am well aware of the questionable past of some of the GOP’s greats of the past; and my point here is, we no NOT need to go back to that era — not now and not ever.  We have cleansed that party of the bigots and haters and relegated them to the sidelines. Here is hope and praying that we do not go down that path again. Because as a kid who grew up, not out here in the “Whitey Tighty” suburbs of Detroit. But in the inner city of Detroit, notably the Southwest side of Detroit. Which means, yes, I grew up now only around White people; but Latinos, and yes, even black people. I still to this day, have many black friends. So, when I hear language like this; my antenna goes up and I start asking questions.

Just my thoughts and I’d like to hear yours.

The politicization of 9/11 by the left

You remember a few days ago, when I said I did not want to really do anything special on 9/11;  because of the politicization of 9/11 by the left and the right?

Well, here’s an example of what I am a talking about…..from the left.

This is from the AFL-CIO website and this is the AFL-CIO’s President

Sept. 11, 2011: A Day to Commit to Activism

A Message from AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka

All of us will remember the horror and anguish we experienced 10 years ago. Whether we lost loved ones ourselves—family members, union brothers and sisters—or felt the shock of a society that lost nearly 3,000 people and was forever changed, we need no reminding.

Instead, I would like to reflect on doors that were opened on Sept. 11, 2001, and what has come of them in the 10 years since.

Working men and women rushed through doors to danger and became America’s everyday heroes. Firefighters, construction workers, nurses and EMTs—all kinds of professionals and volunteers—were there not just on the fateful day but some for weeks and months and even years after. And we swore we would never forget.

Doors opened within us to each other. We came together. We flew the flag. We comforted one another. In our grief, we found the best in ourselves.

What an overwhelming sense of unity we shared, all across our nation. And it was this unity that allowed us to begin healing and rebuilding. There is no time in my memory of a more proud example of what we can accomplish when we work together. Solidarity, the cornerstone of the union movement, flowed through all of us and carried us through.

But other doors opened, too—doors to hate, suspicion of “others” and self-centered greed. Our fear was twisted into something much more dangerous.

The unity that had helped us survive faded as divisiveness took root. I look around today in amazement at just how far apart our nation has become—the endless possibilities that came with our unity have all but vanished.

Just 10 years after 9/11, despite our vows, the public servants, construction workers and others who lost their lives or still suffer with the cancerous remnants of the Twin Towers haven’t just been forgotten. They’ve been vilified. The extremist small government posse has turned them into public enemy No. 1, as though teachers and firefighters, EMTs and nurses and union construction workers ruined America’s economy.

In state after state this year—with the heroism of 9/11 less than a decade behind us—politicians targeted the paychecks, benefits and basic rights of these workers in a rabid campaign to shift government support to tax breaks for the wealthy and already profitable corporations.

Wealthy CEOs, anti-government extremist front groups and frothing talk show hosts—from the Rush Limbaughs and Glenn Becks to the Koch brothers, Karl Rove’s American Crossroads group, Americans for Prosperity, the Club for Growth, FreedomWorks and the American Legislative Exchange Council—also pushed open the door to hate.

Make no mistake—setting workers against workers is a highly profitable endeavor. How many times during the vilest state attacks on public workers did we hear the question: “Other people don’t have pensions. Why should he?” Prompting that question required twisting the American psyche—which, by its founding nature, seeks to lift the common good. The appropriate question should have been, “Why doesn’t everybody have a pension?” followed by collective action for retirement security.

We’ve seen the costs of hatred in ill-thought wars, in shameful attacks on immigrants and our LGBT neighbors. We saw it in the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. We saw it in the racism that has found overt and covert expression since Barack Obama began his run for office—from outright declarations of people who said out loud they would never vote for a black man to the ridiculously persistent obsession with our president’s birth certificate. Regardless of his policies or priorities, President Obama is shadowed by the drumbeat of suspicion based on his “other”-ness. And those suspicions are fed and watered constantly by forces that were threatened by his message of “hope and change.”

We’ve seen the cost of greed in the recklessness of financial institutions that created the greatest economic collapse since the Great Depression and the devastating jobs crisis that persists today.

But I remember that other door that opened on 9/11—the door to our better selves, to our understanding that we are one and our values require us to care for one another.

That’s what sent 347 firefighters to their death at the Twin Towers 10 years ago. It’s also what sent firefighters to stand with teachers in Wisconsin even though Gov. Scott Walker had exempted them from his attack on public employees. It’s what moves employed people now to demand good jobs for the 26 million Americans who are looking for work. It’s what gives us the courage to take on a crumbling economy and the politicians preaching austerity and ignoring our jobs crisis—to take them on and say, “We are America. We are better than this. And we are one.”

Brothers and sisters, friends, I hope you will join me in marking this solemn anniversary by committing to redouble your activism on behalf of America’s everyday working heroes. We will rise or fall together.

If I were a relative of a 9/11 victim — I would be wanted to this self-centered asshole’s head on a platter. 😡

UPDATE: Follow up part duex: White House refuses to comment on Hoffa’s threat to the G.O.P. – White House Spokesman Says, “Hoffa Speaks for Himself”

Another follow up to the follow up to the original story.

The White House is not commenting on remarks by Teamster President Jimmy Hoffa Jr.

Heck even ABC News is noticing the reeking hypocrisy here:

Despite President Obama’s repeated claims to change the tone in Washington, the White House had no comment this afternoon after Teamsters Union leader James Hoffa, speaking at an event before President Obama, said of Tea Party activists that, come November, Democrats should “take these sons of bitches out.”

Warming up the crowd before President Obama’s Labor Day speech in Detroit this afternoon, Hoffa warned the largely union crowd that the Tea Party was waging a “war on workers.”

“We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Hoffa told thousands of workers gathered for the annual event organized by the Detroit Labor Council.

“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march…Everybody here’s got a vote…Let’s take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” he concluded.

The Tea Party Express has called on President Obama to “condemn this inappropriate and uncivil rhetoric,” saying it “has no place in the public forum.”

“Jimmy Hoffa’s remarks are inexcusable and amount to a call for violence on peaceful tea party members, which include many Teamster members,” Tea Party Express chair Amy Kremer said in a written statement.

During the 2008 campaign, Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., immediately rebuked talk radio host Bill Cunningham when he disparaged then-Senator Obama in his opening remarks at a McCain campaign event. In the view of many observers, Cunningham had fueled rumors that Obama was Muslim by repeatedly referring to him by his full name “Barack Hussein Obama.”

McCain immediately took responsibility and profusely apologized for Cunningham’s remarks.

Should President Obama do the same regarding Hoffa comments about the Tea Party? The president has repeatedly called for increased civility in American politics. “Only a more civil and honest public discourse can help us face up to the challenges of our nation,” the president said in January.

“I do believe there is hope for civility. I do believe there’s hope for progress,” Obama said after last November’s midterm elections.

When ABC News is basically letting everyone know that Obama is being a hypocrite; something is dreadfully wrong. When you have lost a major network like ABC and they will not cover for you. You are in trouble.

As for Hoffa, No Regrets:

Teamsters union president James Hoffa would say it all again if he could, he told TPM Monday.

Hoffa riled up Fox News and the right wing Monday with a Labor Day speech in Detroit in which he called Republican members of Congress “sons of bitches” and said union workers are ready to “go to war” with the tea party next year and “take out” Republicans at the ballot box.

Hoffa said he’d say the exact same words all over again.

“I would because I believe it,” he said. “They’ve declared war on us. We didn’t declare war on them, they declared war on us. We’re fighting back. The question is, who started the war?”

The speech came shortly before President Obama took the stage in Detroit — and Hoffa’s remarks certainly overshadowed Obama’s on Fox. But the Teamsters chief said he was just matching fired-up conservative rhetoric when it comes to organized labor and Obama with some fired-up rhetoric of his own.

Presidential hopeful Herman Cain decried the speech as “name-calling” in an interview on Fox News shortly after Hoffa’s remarks — which were repeatedly looped on the network — but the union leader dismissed criticisms like that one as total hypocrisy.

“How is that different than Mitch McConnell saying he wants to take out Barack Obama?” Hoffa said.

Like I said in my last follow up piece:

The problem now is this, what is going to be the liberal left’s reaction and response, when some liberal thug shows up at a Tea Party protest, start harassing people; and some Conservative pulls out a gun, and shoots him dead?  Further, what is going to be the left’s reaction and response when some person, who grasp on reality is not that of a normal, sane, rational person — and he shows up at a union organized rally somewhere, with a assault rifle and starts shooting people?  What will left do then?  Will they blame Hoffa?  Will they denounce their own? No, what they will do is blame the right for editing a video and accusing the right of ginning up the rhetoric.  It is a classic Neo-Liberal, Frankfurt Institute of political correctness response.

I fully stand by that Statement above. I mean, you cannot go around calling for civil discourse and then have one of your Union cronies calling for violence; sorry, that does not work. Obama’s got a big problem on his hands and if he does not fix it, he will be totally discredited come 2012 and will lose badly.

Update: The Lonely Conservative Reports that Jay Carney has told Jack Tapper that Hoffa Speaks for himself. Good on Jack Tapper for hold that four-eyed political hack spokesman’s feet to the fire and force him to give some sort of explanation.  Which is my whole issue with this White House; just like former one, they seem to believe that they are above criticism and do not owe anyone, including those who voted for them, any sort of explanation. They’ll find out different come 2012.

Is Israel on the brink of an all-out war with neighboring countries?

It sure looks that way. (H/T Drudge)

Recent revolutions in the Arab world and the deteriorating ties with Turkey are raising the likelihood of a regional war in the Middle East, IDF Home Front Command Chief, Major General Eyal Eisenberg warned Monday.

“It looks like the Arab Spring, but it can also be a radical Islamic winter,” he said in a speech at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

“This leads us to the conclusion that through a long-term process, the likelihood of an all-out war is increasingly growing,” the IDF general said.

“Iran has not abandoned its nuclear program. The opposite it true; it continues full steam ahead,” he said. “In Egypt, the army is collapsing under the burden of regular security operations, and this is reflected in the loss of control in the Sinai and the turning of the border with Israel into a terror border, with the possibility that Sinai will fall under the control of an Islamic entity.”

“In Lebanon, Hezbollah is growing stronger within government arms, but it has not lost its desire to harm Israel, and the ties with Turkey aren’t at their best,” Major General Eisenberg added.

Referring to what he characterized as the possibility of a “radical Islamic winter,” Major-General Eisenberg said: “This raises the likelihood of an all-out, total war, with the possibility of weapons of mass destruction being used.”

During his address, the senior IDF official revealed that new, more lethal arms surfaced in the hands of Gaza terror groups during the latest round of fighting in the area. As result of the disturbing development, Israeli civilians were instructed to adopt greater precautions, he said.

Needless to say, I believe the Republicans will make this a wedge issue during the campaign. They are now, to a limited extent. But, I expect to see more of that, after the primaries. Because to many, who are Jewish; and those of us who are supporters of Israel. Obama’s attitude is basically, “I don’t give a shit” when it comes to Israel and the Jews.  For the most part, the Republicans own this issue; the notable exception being Ron Paul. Which is all you need to know about the man.

Special Comment: In Defense of Michelle Malkin

I know she would not want to hear it from me. As I have criticized her, when I thought she was wrong. But I have also praised her and even defended her, when I thought it was the right thing to do.

But the fact is, that Michelle Malkin is absolutely right for bringing to light Rick Parry’s record in Texas as Governor. Further more, she is absolutely right for shining the light on Orin Hatch’s record as a Conservative.

The truth is folks, after the big government Conservatism of the George W. Bush-era, which I utterly despised; it is refreshing to see that the Republican Party has, with the help of the Tea Party movement — became a party of fiscal, defensive and social restraint again.  One of my biggest complaints is that the Republican Party, during the Bush-era was all too eager to embrace the horrid doctrine of Wilsonian foreign policy. Which anyone with any kind of a brain, knows is a disastrous doctrine to adhere; when it comes to Wilsonian Foreign policy, I am not the only one who feels this way; it now seems that other bloggers are now speaking against it as well.

There is also this new wave of anti-establishment vitriol and criticism among the grassroots and Conservative Blogosphere.  I too, find this is a very refreshing change of pace.  There is a simple reasoning behind all of this: the Tea Party, the Anti-Establishment mentality and so forth.  The reason it exists is that for far too long, Republicans acted, spent, and porked — just like the Democrats.  Because of this, people in the Republican Party grassroots became fed up with it all.  This was, in a way, the beginnings of the Tea Party movement.  True, it was Glenn Beck’s idea, true; Rick Santelli was the one who sounded the call.  However, it was the American people who said, “NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL!” and began to organize the movement.

As for Michelle Malkin, I believe that her efforts to expose the people who wish to cash in on this Tea Party movement are critical to the reformation of the Government in Washington D.C.  Some of these politicians think that the common people are idiots; this is why we need people like Michelle Malkin to expose the underhanded attempts to deceive the Conservative voters into believing that they are on board with the reformers in the Conservative movement.  Further, there are some, in the Conservative grassroots, who have dreadfully short memories; this is why Michelle Malkin’s work is so very much important to the movement as a whole.

For the record and for what it is really worth; Michelle Malkin went after Bush’s Administration and cabinet as well as Obama’s and the current crop running for the G.O.P.  — That is why I respect the woman.  Because she has always said, you cannot criticize the other side, if you are not willing to drain the swamp in your party — which is so true.

Remember folks, we are at an imperative time in our Nation’s history.  We, as Conservative Americans and as those who vote Republican must be keenly aware of what we are doing here in the next couple of months.  For too long, the American Government has been at the mercy of those who did not give two thoughts to pissing our Children’s futures away — in the Democratic Party and the Republican Party.  We have to select a Candidate this time, which will not only beat Obama; but will uphold the fiscal values that is supposed to make up the Republican Party.  Because the core word of the Republican Party is “Conservative” which comes from the word “Conserve” which means to restrain.  That is what the Republican Party and this Nation needs to return —- the restraint of our fiscal, defense and social matters.

Because of this: we cannot afford to choose someone, who has some sort of Texas swagger, nor can we afford to choose some simple-minded old fool, who is lost in the world of extreme isolationism.  We must be a fully informed electorate.  This is why I defend Michelle Malkin and her quest to out those, who might not be a good choice for President of the United States in the Republican Party.

So, to Michelle: Keep up the good work.  I will be reading, and I will keep in mind everything that I read on your site and at your former site, HotAir.com; when I vote in the upcoming primary here in Michigan and in general election in 2012.

Signed,

-Charles Patrick Adkins

GUEST VOICE: Chuck Baldwin Says, “We Don’t Need Another George W. Bush “

(Source)

Last Saturday, Texas Governor Rick Perry unofficially launched his 2012 Presidential candidacy in Houston (in my opinion). Speculation is he will officially announce his intentions this weekend in South Carolina. If he does declare his candidacy, many election-watchers say Perry will become the GOP frontrunner, due to an extremely weak field of declared candidates. If Perry does declare his candidacy, everyone will know that the Houston event was staged for the purpose of launching his Presidential bid, rhetoric to the contrary notwithstanding.

If Perry declares his candidacy (and I’m confident he will), people should also realize that the Houston event was a precursor to the type of campaign that Perry will use throughout the Republican primary season. As a fellow Texan, it was not lost on Rick Perry how George W. Bush obtained the Republican nomination–and eventually the White House. In short, Rick Perry is going to use the G.W. Bush model to win a Presidential election.

Rick Santelli tells Meredith Whitney “Stick to what you know!”

This is what they call classic TV!

The Video:

Yid With a Lid gives a little background:

Last September, Whitney released a report to her clients saying that states are dealing with budget woes, prompting them to cut off aid to municipalities. So, Whitney said, governments will prioritize local taxpayers over investors and choose to default on their debt. This prediction made lot’s of news and was very wrong.

Because of her prediction, investors fled the municipal bond market. But no one told the bonds. During the first six months of 2011, muni defaults are down 60 percent compared to the same period last year—oopsie!

Serves her right for trying to insult white people and the Tea Party! Typical blond bimbo! 🙄

My thoughts on the riots in London

Yes, I know about silly riots in London.  My question is this, what the heck happened to jolly old England? Better yet, what the happened to the mighty Great Britain?

I’ll tell you what happened. Liberal Progressivism and Multiculturalism —- that’s what! 😡

I find myself in agreement with Lew Rockwell and a Gun blogger named “Say Uncle“: (H/T Insty)

What kind of Country sits back and allows knuckle-dragging nimrods trash and burn a great Country like England? Seriously!  I mean, at what point does the police or officials in Great Britain say, “Okay, screw it; this pacifistic bullshit is not cutting it anymore, it is time to bring out the REAL GUNS and the REAL BULLETS!” and start mowing these stupid bastards down? When?!?!?!

I saw those pictures, reminds me of another very famous socialist uprising — here in Detroit!

Let us compare, shall we?

London - 2011

and then here in Detroit — 1967:

Detroit - 1967

Detroit - 1967 (better picture...)

and yes….

It was that same old bullshit line of, "Oh woe is us! We're being kept down by them rich, white, capitalists who want to hurt our people!"

The truth is, in 1967, blacks were free to work, live and play where they wanted to. There was no oppression of blacks at all, period, end of damned discussion! 😡 Down south in Alabama, maybe; but not in Detroit.

What happened here was this; a group of far leftists decided that they resented the fact that white people were running the City of Detroit Government and that the police force in Detroit was all white, so, they decided to take it out on the businesses in Detroit. So, they burned them to the ground. All because of the fact that the city of Detroit had a special unit, called the STRESS unit — which stood for Stop the Robberies, Enjoy Safe Streets by the way; that kept blacks from robbing and killing white people and other black people in the city.

The result? This:

This is Detroit 2011 --- A ghost of it's former glory --- This is corktown, looking down towards downtown Detroit. -- This is what progressivism gets you folks! For that it is worth, I can get more photos that look much worse than this one. They readily available on the internet and also, I can take some if need be.

This is what London, England and most likely the rest of Great Britain will look like, if they do not put down that Marxist uprising; and I do mean fast.  That above, is what class warfare and progressivism gets you — ruined cities. Believe me when I tell you, Detroit, Michigan is beyond ruined and this is why, progressivism and class warfare. Not to mention Multiculturalism or what it really should be called, “Punishing White people for things that happened before the majority of them in this day and age were even born.”

I mean, these rioters in England are doing it, why? — because they know damned well that they can get away with it.  I mean, what kind of a message does it send to the rest of the world, when a group of thugs says, “We’re doing this, because we want rich people to know, that we’re gonna rule you by causing fear?” It sends to me a message of cowardice, of the English Government, that’s what! It sends a message that the Government of Great Britain are cowering down to domestic terrorists.

In closing; could this happen in America? Yes. But it is very far off. We still have a second amendment and Conservatives who are still willing to fight. But our media is well on its way.  The good thing is, we here in America, have our own Conservative media, that does push back against the Liberal controlled, owned and financed media.

Memo to Jim Hoft: Find someone else to pick on!

I really hate having to write stuff like this, but I fear if I do not, this could start to become commonplace on the right.  As everyone who reads here knows — I have developed a zero tolerance policy against hate speech towards Israel and her people.  Well, if I am going to be that militant about the Israeli people and their land, I should be as militant about those who support her.

It appears that Jim Hoft, the owner of the Conservative Blog called “Gateway Pundit” is taken to mocking Christians on his blog.  This posting here is what I am referring.  My point is simply this:

Jim Hoft would not mock or deride Jews like this, He would not mock Roman Catholics like this, nor would he mock or deride Peaceful Muslims like this — so, why a group of Black Baptists who had a small group of people get out of hand?  Could it be because Jim Hoft has an inbred hatred of Christians — even Baptists —  or is it that he might possibly has an inbred hatred of blacks?  Those are important questions to ask, I feel and I would like to see his answer.

The reason why I am making a fuss about this is here; after the end of the Bush Administration and the end of the tenure of the Neo-Conservative majority and influence in the Republican Party there was this shift back to traditional Conservatism.  Which when it comes to foreign policy matters is a great thing.  However, it also seems that there is a rise in a sarcastic and in some instances a hostile attitude towards Christians in the Conservative and Libertarian Blogosphere.

There also has been a dramatic rise in hostility towards people of the Jewish Faith and linage on the right as well.  There has been, since September 11, 2001 there has been a great deal of hostility towards peaceful Muslims as well.  There is a line, between a genuine concern for our Country against Muslim extremists and a general hatred of Arabs and Muslims.  That line has blurred greatly in the last few years.  To be blunt about it: Norway was a wakeup call to everyone in the Anti-Jihad movement.  Hatred and Bigotry will not stop those in the Islamic Extremists movement; it will simply give them more ammunition against us. The Anti-Jihad movement needs to figure who the haters are, round them up, and publicly cast them out of the movement and shun them.

Further, let me also say this; I will be the very to admit that I have some serious issues with the social Conservative movement.  I know feel well about the stupidity within those ranks.  Furthermore, I also have a great disdain for the fascist mentality of those, who want to install a Christian version of Sharia law in this Country, toss out our Constitution, and dictate our laws directly from the Bible.  Those people, who are a small minority in the Conservative Christian circles, are as dangerous, as the radical Muslims and the radical progressives whom wish to destroy our Country.  Because I am a libertarian-minded Conservative, I will fight against those people on this blog, until my dying breath.  I believe in personal freedom and that means freedom from a Religion, if you so desire.

I find this idiotic mocking of those who happen to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God in Heaven and that the Holy Bible, or in my case; the King James Bible — is the Word of the Living God and contains the path to Eternal Life — to be highly offensive and very much repugnant.  Furthermore, I question the Conservative credentials of those who partake in this abject practice.

In closing let me say this; this blog was never intended to be a “Christian Blog”, nor was it ever intended to be a “Christian defense” blog.  However, when one’s religion is being mocked, oppressed and attacked, one most decide, “Do I stand, or do I remain silent?”  I choose to speak out.

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.  (Matthew 10:32-33 KJV)

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.  (Luke 12:8-10 KJV)

Great: The United States is now borrowing more than the GDP

This is unreal… 🙄

US debt shot up $238 billion to reach 100 percent of gross domestic project after the government’s debt ceiling was lifted, Treasury figures showed Wednesday.

Treasury borrowing jumped Tuesday, the data showed, immediately after President Barack Obama signed into law an increase in the debt ceiling as the country’s spending commitments reached a breaking point and it threatened to default on its debt.

The new borrowing took total public debt to $14.58 trillion, over end-2010 GDP of $14.53 trillion, and putting it in a league with highly indebted countries like Italy and Belgium.

Public debt subject to the official debt limit — a slightly tighter definition — was $14.53 trillion as of the end of Tuesday, rising from the previous official cap of $14.29 trillion a day earlier.

Treasury had used extraordinary measures to hold under the $14.29 trillion cap since reaching it on May 16, while politicians battled over it and over addressing the country’s bloating deficit.

The official limit was hiked $400 billion on Tuesday and will be increased in stages over the next 18 months.

via US borrowing tops 100% of GDP: Treasury – Yahoo! News.

Chew on that one for a few seconds or longer. The USA is borrowing more money from China, that the United States makes as a whole. For the reading up on the GDP, click here. I also recommend that you read up on the Gross National Product and Gross Domestic Income. All of that above, factors into our economy; and believe me when I tell you — we are circling the drain my friends.

There is a bunch more on this subject; and for what it is worth, I do not claim to be an expert on this stuff at all — So, I recommend you read following related articles:

What I will tell you is; because I am an honest blogger and not some partisan shill for a particular party – is this here.  Many on the right wing Blogosphere will be quick to put this entire situation on President Obama.  I cannot and will not do that; the truth is folks, we did have and still do have two wars that we are fighting; and those cost money too.  We also did have the bailout of the banks and tarp bailouts, the trap loans to the big three, being a fraction of the total cost.

Truth is my friends; we are here because of foolishness of our elected leaders — Republican and Democratic Party.  Both sides have steered this Nation over a cliff.  President Obama tried and ultimately failed to bring an economic revival to the Country.  Now we have to pay the proverbial piper.  It is going to be a painful process; the tap is turned off and we are now going to have embrace austerity.

It is a horrible thing to endure, but it is something that we are going to have to endure — if we are going to continue as a Country, as we know it now.

Video: The Truth about Anders Behring Breivik

I saw this tweet on twitter and watched this video and I jumped out of bed and came straight to the Computer here.

This comes via Bare Naked Islam:

This is not to justify or excuse this crazy man’s actions; it is point out what is happening in the media.

Video: This is why we must not fail in the war on terrorism!

These are the Taliban and the men lined up are Pakistani Policemen: (Warning! Graphic Video!)

The Story via ABC NEWS:

In a new video which recently surfaced online, the Taliban appears to brutally and systematically execute 16 unarmed Pakistani policemen in what the terror group called a revenge killing.

The video of the massacre, which reportedly took place in early June, was posted online last week and confirmed by the Pakistani army today. It shows the policemen — who are not in uniform — standing in a line before a Taliban member who appears to be lecturing them. The man, who appears to act as the militants’ commander, accuses the policemen of executing six children in a previous operation and claims their imminent deaths are revenge, according to a summary posted with the video.

Several Taliban members then open fire on the group until all the policemen have fallen. A wailing cry is heard in the background after the initial volley. After reloading, a single fighter walks over each body and shoots them once more in the head.

But yet, President Barack Obama wants to try and negotiate with these monsters.

My friends, you do not negotiate with criminals and cold blooded killers; these people hate Liberty and Freedom. They hate Israel and Jews; kind of like the liberal left and some of the Paleo-Conservative and libertarian right.  They are not rational, sane, human beings — they are cold blooded killers. We did not negotiate with Charles Manson and his cult — so why the hell would we negotiate with people like this?

My friends, consider this hallow warning from someone who sat through hours of footage on 9/11 and almost ended up in the psych ward because of it:

IF WE DO NOT SUCCEED ON THE WAR ON TERRORISM, THIS COULD BE A SCENE IN AMERICA VERY SOON!

Dismiss me as an alarmist if you wish; I could not care less. But this is coming to America, if we fall down on the war on terrorism!

America must be protected; Israel must be protected, Liberty and Freedom are at stake! Radical Islam is a threat! Do not believe the lie of the Liberal-controlled, financed, and organized media — which is supplanted by the Government! The liberal media is in bed with the radical and no-so-radical Muslims!

Remember 9/11, Remember the Pentagon, Remember Flight 93 —– Remember America.

Remember this Video and Blog Posting come November 2012.

We need a President who will stand tall in the face of these bastards and not blink. Bush did it; and paid for it, with his Presidency — but he did not waver for a second. Mistakes were made, that is very true. However, in the end, we won in Iraq and we can win here too. We just have to not give up.

I hate having to write blog entries like this; mainly, because I happen to like Rick Perry. However, because I am a blogger of the truth — and because I do not want to see Rick Perry wounded in the election. I am bringing this point up.

Rick Perry has a religious wacko problem and I mean a big one!

The story comes via the Texas Observer: (H/T to Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs for pointing this out)

On September 28, 2009, at 1:40 p.m., God’s messengers visited Rick Perry.

On this day, the Lord’s messengers arrived in the form of two Texas pastors, Tom Schlueter of Arlington and Bob Long of San Marcos, who called on Perry in the governor’s office inside the state Capitol. Schlueter and Long both oversee small congregations, but they are more than just pastors. They consider themselves modern-day apostles and prophets, blessed with the same gifts as Old Testament prophets or New Testament apostles.

The pastors told Perry of God’s grand plan for Texas. A chain of powerful prophecies had proclaimed that Texas was “The Prophet State,” anointed by God to lead the United States into revival and Godly government. And the governor would have a special role.

The day before the meeting, Schlueter had received a prophetic message from Chuck Pierce, an influential prophet from Denton, Texas. God had apparently commanded Schlueter—through Pierce—to “pray by lifting the hand of the one I show you that is in the place of civil rule.”

Gov. Perry, it seemed.

Schlueter had prayed before his congregation: “Lord Jesus I bring to you today Gov. Perry. … I am just bringing you his hand and I pray Lord that he will grasp ahold of it. For if he does you will use him mightily.”

And grasp ahold the governor did. At the end of their meeting, Perry asked the two pastors to pray over him. As the pastors would later recount, the Lord spoke prophetically as Schlueter laid his hands on Perry, their heads bowed before a painting of the Battle of the Alamo. Schlueter “declared over [Perry] that there was a leadership role beyond Texas and that Texas had a role beyond what people understand,” Long later told his congregation.

Nothing wrong with that right? A couple of Ministers praying over someone right?

Well, it’s not the praying that is the problem; it’s the people doing the praying that is the problem.

This is the part of the story published that caught my eyes:

Some of the fiercest critics of the New Apostolic Reformation come from within the Pentecostal and charismatic world. The Assemblies of God Church, the largest organized Pentecostal denomination, specifically repudiated self-proclaimed prophets and apostles in 2000, calling their creed a “deviant teaching” that could rapidly “become dictatorial, presumptuous, and carnal.”

Assemblies authorities also rejected the notion that the church is supposed to assume dominion over earthly institutions, labeling it “unscriptural triumphalism.”

The New Apostles talk about taking dominion over American society in pastoral terms. They refer to the “Seven Mountains” of society: family, religion, arts and entertainment, media, government, education, and business. These are the nerve centers of society that God (or his people) must control.

Asked about the meaning of the Seven Mountains, Schlueter says, “God’s kingdom just can’t be expressed on Sunday morning for two hours. God’s kingdom has to be expressed in media and government and education. It’s not like our goal is to have a Bible on every child’s desk. That’s not the goal. The goal is to hopefully have everyone acknowledge that God’s in charge of us regardless.”

But climbing those mountains sounds a little more specific on Sunday mornings. Schlueter has bragged to his congregation of meetings with Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, state Sen. Brian Birdwell, and the Arlington City Council. He recently told a church in Victoria that state Rep. Phil King, a conservative Republican from Weatherford, had allowed him to use King’s office at the Capitol to make calls and organize.

“We’re going to influence it,” Schlueter told his congregation. “We’re going to infiltrate it, not run from it. I know why God’s doing what he’s doing … He’s just simply saying, ‘Tom I’ve given you authority in a governmental authority, and I need you to infiltrate the governmental mountain. Just do it, it’s no big deal.’ I was talking with [a member of the congregation] the other day. She’s going to start infiltrating. A very simple process. She’s going to join the Republican Party, start going to all their meetings. Some [members] are already doing that.”

Okay, time to bust out with my Christian credentials here. As most of you know, who read this blog. I am a Born-Again Christian. but, I do not wear it on my sleeve really anymore. I have been “saved,” as the Christian World calls it, for 29 years. 21 of those years was spent in the Pentecost movement or type of Churches. I spent nine and a half years of that time in a Assembly of God Church in Southwest Detroit. So, believe me when I tell you; when it comes to this subject, I know full well, of what I speak.

When the Assembles of God denounces a group like this one here; believe me, it is for a very good reason. These people are kooks and I mean really, really, really bad kooks. The Assemblies of God in the spectrum of the Pentecostal movement are some of the most Conservative —- theologically speaking — Churches and people in the Pentecostal movement. These kooks that Rick Perry are hanging with, in that same spectrum, are the more progressive or radical kind.  These people make people like Benny Hinn, Rod Parsley and the many others look like boy scouts! 😯

What I am basically trying to say is this; and I hope like the dickens that someone sees this and advises Rick Perry on it — Rick Perry, if he wants to be elected President of the United States of America, needs to put as much daylight between these people and himself as he possibly can. These people are the Christian equivalent of say, the Muslim brotherhood; except maybe they do not try to kill people. What they do want to do is this; they want to rip out the United States Constitution and have a Government that dictates its laws from the Bible. The problem with that is this; the United States of America was not founded as a Christian dictatorship, it was founded as a Constitutional Republic.

This group of people who Rick Perry is hanging with are a part of the radical, extreme Christian Right. If Rick Perry thinks that the left and the liberal media will not savage him for this sort of association; he, with all due respect to the man and the office that he now holds — is crazy.

During the 2008 election, the right — including myself —- utterly brutalized then candidate Barack Obama for his radical and Anti-American Religious affiliations. I feel, that what is fair, is fair. Because I am not entrenched in partisanship, I believe that Rick Perry should either give an account of why he is associated with these people or disassociate himself from them.  As much as I know that the White House is now occupied by radical leftists — both former and current cabinet and staff members. I just do not believe that putting in a radical Christian Right President and cabinet is the answer to that problem.

We need a strong fiscal Conservative in the White House to bring this Nation back to its rightful place. We do not need some radical Religious nut-job in the White House. Lord knows, we had eight good years of that, and look what it got us. I say that as someone who suffered through those eight years. Also too, Do not think that I say this as a Fundamentalist Baptist with a “hard on” against Pentecostals. This is someone who has been around in the Christian world for a LONG TIME and I have seen what those people believe, and even as Pentecostals; they as nutty as they come.

In closing: Rick Perry needs to do the proper and right thing; or he should forget about running for President.

Some straight talk to the progressive Blogosphere, from a former Democratic Party voter

I feel the need to write something here.  I am addressing this to the progressive bloggers here, not you my daily and normal readers of this blog.  Therefore, when I use the words, “You,” “You Guys” and “You people”; I am referring to the people on these two blogs that I am writing about, not you normal readers here.

—-

Hey, listen up chumps.  Because I am going to give you some very straight to the point talk about you and your moron President.  I call him YOUR fucking moron President and not mine, I did not vote for him, so do not try to pan that “Oh, he’s your president too!” horse manure on me, because I am not buying that at all.  Please, do not hand me the old “I suppose John McCain would have been better” routine, because I did not vote for him either.

You see, I used to be a Democrat; I used to vote for your party, ever since I was 18 years old.  I voted Democratic Party, because my Dad was a union worker, because my parents did, because I wanted to support the so-called “cause.”  I felt I was supporting the “Struggle” of the middle class every time I voted for your party.

I seem to remember that there were some very qualified people to be President and yet, your party threw those people over, for someone that you could actually rally someone around — a black person.  It would be the ultimate end to the “Jim Crow” era, of which your party championed.  Do you Remember, Douglas, of the Lincoln/Douglas debates?  Well, he was a Democrat.  Therefore, you all thought Barack Hussein Obama would be the ultimate victory.  So much for that idea, eh?

You chose style over substance, you chose Identity Politics over common sense.  You chose personality over proof of leadership; you chose an empty suit, who is more interested in an agenda over the future of your own damned party.  Such a tragic thing, too bad, so sad — now deal with your self-created garbage and shut the hell up and take what is coming to you, you silly idiotic morons.  You cast your own hopes, dreams, and aspirations on an inexperienced fool, who had about as much right to be President, as me.  Then your christened “Golden Boy” proceeded to defecate on you and the rest of your party.  My question to you is this; how does it feel to be played?

I seem to remember that there was a person — a woman, no less — who was a bit more of a moderate Democrat, who offered you the chance for America to succeed again.  However, you chose skin color over common sense.  I will confess, I was not a big fan of that woman and I still am not; due to some of the stupidity of her husband’s Presidential Administration — like the Waco debacle, for instance.

Why do you think that the Republican Party was determined to destroy her?  Because they knew that if they tried to run against her, they would lose and lose badly.  However, out of nowhere, here comes Barry, shooting past her, and the rest of the Democratic Party primary candidates, using a slogan he stole from another candidate and all of a sudden he was the new progressive Messiah.  Suddenly, the other white woman was “Old School,” “Old hat,” and part of the old way.  You people wanted to new, fresh and clean – non-offensive to your guilt laden white base.

Now, you are sitting around; looking and feeling like chumps, because you, as they say — were played.  Even your media, yes YOUR media, the enlightened media, of whom is ninety percent and your blogosphere, of whom I used to respect, because of how you held George W. Bush’s feet to the fire for six years — went into the tank for this chump and now look like a group of special education students with Tourette syndrome.  Honestly, pointing at OUR side, the Republican side, the Conservative side, or any side that disagrees with you — is stupid.  You really should point the finger at your own damned selves.  You have no one, nada, zero, nobody to blame — but yourselves.

You are also to blame for losing me.  Your treatment of war soldiers and war dead was and still is — fucking pathetic.  This is another reason, among many as to why I left your party!  I come from a family of people who served, you all treat them like shit, and for that, you lost me.  Not to mention all the bullshit that you pulled during the 2008 election cycle and now continue to pull.  I will never be a part political party that stokes division, ever.  Whether it is races, class, or whatever — that is bullshit and I will never be a part of it, ever.  Not to mention how you idiots like to herd people into groups and practice that “Group Thought” shit; I am not a sheep thank you very much!

In closing: Man up.  Yeah, that is correct — Man the fuck up!  Admit that you stupid fuckers made a huge assed fucking mistake, and get you someone who can run against that feckless idiot and maybe, just MAYBE, you all might win another election.  I highly doubt it, seeing this President is seriously kicked America and its people in the fucking jewels.  Nevertheless, it is worth a shot.  I mean, after all, the only fucking thing the Republican Party is running; is a psycho from Minnesota, a far right-wing crazy, a RINO, Two Mormon freaks and a pizza chain President — who knows nothing about the middle east.  Surely, you have SOMEONE you can run against that fucking freak show on our side! This is the same party that got prayer taken out of schools and abortion legalized; surely you can pull something together!

Again, I wrote this, not because I wanted to mock you people.  I wrote because it makes me sick to my stomach that the party that my family, including my parents and me, voted for, for many years — has turn into pile of damned waste.  The Party that Ronald Reagan once called the “honorable party” has turned into a cesspool of Marxism; the party that once, under the leadership of FDR, rescued the Jews from a disastrous fate, now treats Israel and its people, like dirt.

So, when I see this stupid, petty nonsense between bloggers on your side, I have to seriously laugh.  Because, as I said before — you have no one to blame for what is happening in America, with your party — but yourselves.

Jobs report bleak, Democrats still clueless as ever

Now I see why Rick Santelli is ranting and raving!

First of all, here is the lovely report via the NYT:

For the second month in a row, employers added a dismally small number of jobs, showing that the United States economy is barely creaking along despite being two years into the official recovery.

With all levels of government laying off workers, the Labor Department reported that employers eked out just 18,000 new nonfarm payroll jobs in June. The already low number of jobs created in May was also revised downward to just 25,000, less than half what was originally reported last month.

Even as the government’s survey of employers showed that they were adding an anemic number of jobs, a survey of households showed that more people were out of work, causing the unemployment rate to rise to 9.2 percent.

Economists were stunned since they had been expecting June to show stronger job creation as oil prices eased and supply disruptions receded in the aftermath of the Japanese tsunami and earthquake. Instead, the government’s monthly snapshot of the labor market showed that several sectors, including construction, finance and temporary services, actually shed workers. At the same time, leading indicators like wages and the length of the average workweek, which tend to grow before employers begin adding more jobs, actually contracted.

“Even the wild-eyed optimists out there have nothing to grasp onto in this report except to say, ‘Ah, this too shall pass,’ ” said Joshua Shapiro, chief United States economist at MFR Inc.

Meanwhile the stupidity continues on the left. A perfect example is found over at The Hill:

President Obama’s senior political adviser David Plouffe said Wednesday that people won’t vote in 2012 based on the unemployment rate.

Plouffe should probably hope that’s the case, since dismal job figures aren’t expected to get any better for Obama and the economy on Friday.

Most economists expect a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to show that the nation added about 100,000 jobs in June. That’s not enough to keep up with population growth, let alone lower the unemployment rate or make a dent in the 9 million jobs lost during the so called Great Recession.

[UPDATED: The jobs report released on Friday showed the economy added only 18,000 jobs, much less than anticipated. The unemployment rate creeped up to 9.2 percent.]

It’s looking more and more like Obama will have to do something no president has done since Franklin Roosevelt: Win reelection with unemployment around 8 percent.

I have a sinking feeling that Plouffe is making a seriously stupid miscalculation ; and one that the Republican Party is going to take full advantage of, come November 2012.

The stupidity continues over at the NYT, again with the stupidest Economist ever to be allowed to write for a paper:

Ugh. That was a seriously ugly jobs report. Almost no job creation, with slow private-sector growth offset by falling public-sector employment; a falling employment-population ratio; and (I don’t know how many people have picked this up), an actual decline in wages, albeit a small one.

Let me emphasize that last point. My bottom line on the inflation-deflation issue has always been to look at wages; you can’t have a wage-price spiral if wages ain’t spiraling. And they aren’t, to say the least.

It’s important to realize, by the way, that stagnant wages are NOT good for recovery; all they do is ensure that the burden of debt relative to income remains high, keeping demand and employment down.

The situation cries out for aggressively expansionary monetary and fiscal policy. Instead, however, all the political push is in the opposite direction.

The underlined part and the part above it; is where the stupidity really kicks in here. That stupidity above, is why this damned Nation is in the place that it is now. Because of stupid people like Krugman. These idiots, in a sane World, would be tossed out of this Country for causing one of the most horrible economic collapses in this Nation, since the great depression, which caused many Americans; Conservative and Liberal, to lose money that they rightly earned or invested in and profited from.

This is not to say that the Republican was not to blame; they too stood by and did nothing and for that they paid a price during the 2006 and 2008 election cycles. However, America was not fooled the Democrats proceeded to make some of, if not more, of the same mistakes that the Republican Party made, while in power. For this, they paid in 2010 and will pay again in 2012.

Further more, it was the DEMOCRATS, not the Republicans, who sought to game the housing market, with the Community Reinvestment act of 1973. Of which the Democrats added the sub-prime cause, which caused the Housing Market to become unstable; which essentially caused the markets to collapse. Yes, regulation was ripped out; but it was the adding of the sub-prime clause that caused the major problems that set the housing market up for a horrible downfall. I know, I watched it all happen here, in real-time, while blogging it all.

In fairness, I will say this; because I am not an overly partisan blogger. It also was the Neo-Conservatives, with their one war, that was totally unjustified in their idiotic visions of a Democratic middle east and the quagmire that it created, not to mention the millions spent and the lives lost; that also created this mess as well. If we would have fought the Afghanistan properly and not like we did Iraq; the war would have been much shorter and would have cost us much less money.
