I post this, because I believe you should know, where it is that I am coming from. However, I should also note that this blog was not originally intended to be a “Christian” Blog; but rather a political one. I do not believe personally, that politics and religion are to be intertwined. I do, however, believe that you should know what perspective that I am writing from.
Having said that….
Yes, I am a Born Again Christian.
On June 7, 1982, I made possibly on the biggest decisions of my life, right here in this building:

Although, I will be the first to admit. I am not the best one in the world. 🙁 I do try though. I have my warts and rough spots. But, my heart knows what’s right. 🙂
Doctrinally; I am a Fundamentalist Baptist. I also read, and will defend to my dying breath — The King James Bible. Although, some of the people that claim to defend it are in dire need of helmets.
I have been a born again Christian or saved, as we call it — since June 7, 1982. I was, for 21 of these years a Pentecostal Christian. I walked away from that religion on total and utter confusion in 2004. Best decision I ever made! 😀
I am, as my twitter profile says; someone who is recovering from the “Church World.” It is, sadly, a very long story. Been out of the “Church World” loop since 2006. I really do not have a desire to go back to Church anywhere really. 🙄

I never said I was perfect. No such thing as spiritual perfection in this mortal body, sadly. 🙁
