Video: The Truth about Anders Behring Breivik

I saw this tweet on twitter and watched this video and I jumped out of bed and came straight to the Computer here.

This comes via Bare Naked Islam:

This is not to justify or excuse this crazy man’s actions; it is point out what is happening in the media.

Update on Oslo, Norway Terrorist Attacks, Not Islamic, Homegrown

Just an Update to the previous post, which I now feel sick for even publishing. This is why I do not like publishing stuff like this; but as a defense, I am not the only one who assumed that Isl?mic Terrorists were behind it.

Via the Vancouver Sun:

The Suspect: Andres Behring Breivik

Breivik, a native of Oslo, is described as as 6 feet tall and blond, which matches earlier reports from eyewitnesses on Utoya of a man dressed as a police officer who called teenagers over before shooting them with an automatic weapon.

The latest confirmed death count between the two attacks is 17.

Reports suggest he was also seen loitering around the site of the bomb blast in Oslo two hours before the island incident.

A Twitter account (http://twitter.com/#!/AndersBBreivik) and Facebook page for Andres Behring Breivik were created last week. The Facebook page contains a series of photos of the alleged suspect, and the Twitter account has one post: “One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100 000 who have only interests.”

I will simply say this; terrorism is terrorism — I don’t care in what name, or cause. It is wrong; and those who do it should be imprisoned or killed.

BIG, HUGE MASSIVE UPDATE! – Terrorist Attacks in Oslo, Norway

Update: Please note, everything that is linked to and quoted below is BEFORE I or anyone else knew this facts!

I was watching Fox News this morning, when the story broke. However, I was not much in the mood for blogging.

Anyhow, I now, after a bit of a nap; I feel much better. I have been struggling with my sleeping habits.

The MSM has a decent round up of the events in Norway:

Haroon Siddique / Guardian: Norway attacks – live coverage

New York Times: Blasts and Gun Attack in Norway; 7 Dead

Brian Ross / ABCNEWS: Oslo Explosion: One of Two Blasts Result of Massive Vehicle Bomb, Sources Say

BBC: Norway: Blast near prime minister’s office in Oslo

The Blogosphere is also doing a knock up job of covering this as well. Check out Michelle Malkin, Atlas Shrugs, Gates of Vienna and The Other McCain‘s Coverage.

Vox Day, A libertarian blogger observes:

Naturally, this bombing will no more lead the Norwegian people to reconsider the wisdom of permitting Muslim immigration than the vast increase in the number of rapes committed by Muslim men. But it should. The multiculturalists will be quick to point out the mathematically obvious fact that that most Muslims don’t set off bombs. But this is irrelevant. Because, it is also a fact that if a nation does not permit Muslims to enter its borders, it is far less likely to ever suffer any such incidents.

Expansionist Islam offers a challenge to the freedom of religion, (a right that does not actually exist in most countries outside the United States), that few secularists or Christians are presently capable of understanding. It should be eminently clear by now that simply repeating the multicultural mantra that “diversity is our strength” is not going to serve any purpose. At some point, it is going to become abundantly clear to everyone on all sides that the separatist practices of the past were not “outdated raciss bad-thought”, but the result of observation and experience.

Indeed.

Of course, I await a explanation of this from the Ron Paul crowd. However, I expect that Ron Paul and his mindless followers will somehow want to blame America for this; and yes, somehow Israel and the Jews. Fun Fact: Most Ron Paul supports also believe that Israel was behind the 9/11 attacks here in America too.

Another tidbit of information: Olso, Norway was the site of the Oslo Accords of 1993.

My Thoughts and Prayers to those in Oslo; may God be with them, for they are now in the fight for their lives.

—–

UPDATE #2: PLEASE, BEFORE YOU COMMENT OR SAY A WORD; GO TO THIS NEW POSTING!

Quite frankly, I am sick about even publishing the above, at all. šŸ™ I, like many right-wing bloggers; blew it, badly. I, like them, assumed the worst and that Radical Islam was involved. Basically this idiot was Norway’s version of Timothy McVeigh. (Except for McVeigh was not a “Christan,” but rather an agnostic. This is a Conservative, and I mean ultra-conservative and a supposed “Christian.”

More Black on White Violence

Here we go folks, more of Obama’s people doing what the Socialist teachers tell them to do:

The Video:

The Story:

An angry mother stood before a judge Friday afternoon in a barebones courtroom at the Richland County jail, describing the fractured skull, busted nose and broken eye socket her son received during an early Monday morning beating in Five Points.

Vicki Strange’s voice never quivered as she described racing to the hospital in the wee hours to get to her 18-year-old son, Carter Strange. She recalled standing in the emergency room and seeing a man on a gurney being wheeled down the hall, thinking, ā€œThat poor man.ā€

As nurses wheeled the man closer, Vicki Strange thought his hair looked familiar. Then she noticed the hands.

Vicki Strange speaks to a judge at a June 24 bond hearing for Tyheem Henrey. Henrey, 19, was charged for his alleged role in the beating of Strange’s 18-year-old son, Carter Strange, who was running home through Five Points to make curfew on Monday. The hearing was held at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

– Kim Kim Foster-Tobin /kkfoster@thestate.com

ā€œIt was his hair and his hands, but the rest of him did not look like my son,ā€ she said.

Strange told her story before City Judge Dana Turner during a bond hearing at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center for one of eight people charged in connection with the brutal attack.

ā€œCarter didn’t have a chance to fight against those eight,ā€ Vicki Strange said. ā€œNow, I get to fight for him.ā€

Tyheem Jaqui Henrey, 19, of Old Manor Road in the St. Andrews area was detained on a $750,000 bond on charges of second-degree assault and battery by a mob, robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.

A 14-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old also have been charged with the same crimes as Henrey. A 13-year-old and three 16-year-olds have been charged with criminal conspiracy, Columbia police said. Their names have not been released because of their ages.

via Teen had no chance to fight back – Crime & Courts – TheState.com.

Now, some thoughts of my very own — about this case and those who committed this crime:

Whenever I encounter a case like this, where a group of blacks target a white person and do them physical harm, I have a terrible reaction. Images flash through my mind; my cousin being shot and killed in Detroit by two black police officers. I have an impulse reaction, my southern roots come to the surface; I want more than justice served on those who did the crime to this person; I want blood, their blood to spill for having the gall to attack a fellow white man. However then, common sense kicks in and I forced to realize that we do have a justice system in this Country and using that is a bit more sensible than a lynch mob is. That is because I have to stop and remember, we are a Constitutional Republic and in a Constitutional Republic mob rules are not the style or system of Government — But Jury trials and innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt is.

The second thing I truly begin to wonder is, ā€œwhere are the parents of these black kids?ā€ This ought to be a case study or a textbook example in the failures of parenting a child. The perfect example of why a strong Christian Father and Mother, and why Godly administered discipline is paramount to a controlled home and children who live in submission to parents and to God. It has been said that if a parent does not discipline a child; then society will —- and in this case, it was proven correctly.

Lastly, this is a textbook case to the fact that Multiculturalism, Black Entitlement, and Black Empowerment should be considered a total abject failure. This beating was a direct result of the progressive ā€œpot stirringā€ that has taken place by the Marxist or progressive left in this Country for years. These black youths beat this white kid, because they figured that because they were black, they would most likely get away with it or get off with a light sentence. As kids and growing up; these young men were most likely told that they were entitled to anything and everything that a White Man was and more, because they were black. This fosters a mindset of ā€œI can do whatever I please, because I am blackā€ and this is a result of that reckless and very ignorant mindset.

I have to hand it to the mother and father of this young white man. If that were my kid — let us just say I would not be that calm about the situation; and there would be a great deal of black people in that town, who would be in fear for their lives.

Pastor John Hagee delivers some straight talk on Israel

God Bless Pastor John Hagee for standing in the gap:

There is a truth Americans don’t want to face, Pastor John Hagee said at the closing banquet of the annual Christians United for Israel summit in Washington, D.C., and that truth is this: ā€œPresident Obama is not pro-Israel.ā€

ā€œMr. President, go tell Russia what to do. Go tell the Chinese what to do. Go tell Iran to stop building a nuclear bomb,ā€ Hagee said in his speech at the Washington Convention Center, criticizing the president for his handling of the U.S.–Israel relationship since he took office.

ā€œIsrael is not a vassal state of the United States,ā€ he added, condemning President Obama’s recent call to use Israel’s pre-1967 borders as the basis for peace negotiations with Palestinian Arabs.

Hagee said those gathered at the conference had one message: ā€œIsrael today, Israel tomorrow, and Israel forever.ā€ Hagee, a fifth-generation pastor, founded and leads Christians United for Israel.

ā€œAttention liberal media: The Jewish people are not occupying the land of Israel, they own the land of Israel,ā€ he said. ā€œAmerican should never pressure Israel to give up land for peace, not for any reason, not to anyone, ever.ā€

Hagee also took on former White House reporter Helen Thomas, who was forced to resign last year from her post as a Hearst Newspapers columnist after she was caught on camera saying Israeli Jews should go back home to Europe.

ā€œYou’re wrong, Helen,ā€ Hagee said. ā€œThe Jewish people are home.ā€

Blessings be upon this man and Glenn Beck!

Kudos to Glenn Beck for Standing for Israel!

Thanks to Glenn Beck for this:

If the world goes down the road of dehumanizing Jews again, ā€œthen count me a Jew and come for me first,ā€ Glenn Beck declared in his keynote address at the closing banquet of the Christians United for Israel (CUFI) summit in Washington, D.C. Tuesday night.

Standing up for Israel ā€œmay be the cause of our lifetime,ā€ he said to a crowed of thousands of Christians at the Washington Convention Center. ā€œEach of us will be judged as a people and a nation by how we treat Israel.ā€

Beck, who was sporting a goatee, opened his speech by donating $10,000 dollars to CUFI’s student group and announcing he had just returned from the Auschwitz–Birkenau concentration camps. There, he said, he realized that the rights articulated in the Declaration of Independence were crucial to preventing such evil from occurring.

Kudos to CEO Steve Wynn!

(Via Gateway Pundit)

Fox Business reports:

Las Vegas heavyweight Steve Wynn, a self-described Democratic businessman, unloaded on the White House this week, blaming President Barack Obama’s political philosophy for the nation’s stagnant job growth and poor business climate.

Wynn, the CEO of Wynn Resorts (WYNN), called the administration the ā€œgreatest wet blanket to business and progress and job creation in my lifetime.ā€

Rep. John Flemming, (R-La.), argues increasing taxes will kill jobs and hurt the economy.

The comments underscore the tense relationship between corporate America and the White House, and come as Washington is paralyzed by the tense negotiations to raise the nation’s debt limit.

ā€œI believe in Las Vegas. I think its best days are ahead of it. But I’m afraid to do anything in the current political environment in the United States,ā€ said Wynn, who was responding to a question during his company’s earnings conference call about expanding in Vegas.

Wynn, 69, is worth an estimated $2.3 billion as of this year, up from $1.5 billion previously, according to Forbes. In 2006 he was named as one of the world’s 100 most influential people by Time. Wynn’s casinos include the Wynn Las Vegas, Wynn Macau and Encore.

Wow. 😯

…and he’s a Democrat…. I figure the usual suspects will call him a racist. But, he is just saying what many other people; Republican and Democrat are thinking.

Video: This is why we must not fail in the war on terrorism!

These are the Taliban and the men lined up are Pakistani Policemen: (Warning! Graphic Video!)

The Story via ABC NEWS:

In a new video which recently surfaced online, the Taliban appears to brutally and systematically execute 16 unarmed Pakistani policemen in what the terror group called a revenge killing.

The video of the massacre, which reportedly took place in early June, was posted online last week and confirmed by the Pakistani army today. It shows the policemen — who are not in uniform — standing in a line before a Taliban member who appears to be lecturing them. The man, who appears to act as the militants’ commander, accuses the policemen of executing six children in a previous operation and claims their imminent deaths are revenge, according to a summary posted with the video.

Several Taliban members then open fire on the group until all the policemen have fallen. A wailing cry is heard in the background after the initial volley. After reloading, a single fighter walks over each body and shoots them once more in the head.

But yet, President Barack Obama wants to try and negotiate with these monsters.

My friends, you do not negotiate with criminals and cold blooded killers; these people hate Liberty and Freedom. They hate Israel and Jews; kind of like the liberal left and some of the Paleo-Conservative and libertarian right.Ā  They are not rational, sane, human beings — they are cold blooded killers. We did not negotiate with Charles Manson and his cult — so why the hell would we negotiate with people like this?

My friends, consider this hallow warning from someone who sat through hours of footage on 9/11 and almost ended up in the psych ward because of it:

IF WE DO NOT SUCCEED ON THE WAR ON TERRORISM, THIS COULD BE A SCENE IN AMERICA VERY SOON!

Dismiss me as an alarmist if you wish; I could not care less. But this is coming to America, if we fall down on the war on terrorism!

America must be protected; Israel must be protected, Liberty and Freedom are at stake! Radical Islam is a threat! Do not believe the lie of the Liberal-controlled, financed, and organized media — which is supplanted by the Government! The liberal media is in bed with the radical and no-so-radical Muslims!

Remember 9/11, Remember the Pentagon, Remember Flight 93 —– Remember America.

Remember this Video and Blog Posting come November 2012.

We need a President who will stand tall in the face of these bastards and not blink. Bush did it; and paid for it, with his Presidency — but he did not waver for a second. Mistakes were made, that is very true. However, in the end, we won in Iraq and we can win here too. We just have to not give up.

lan astaslem --- I will not surrender --I will not submit.

This is not a game, this is not fake; Ron Paul and his racist, Anti-Semitic friends, who hate Israel and everything related to it are the ENEMY! They must be kept out of the White House, at all costs! They are friends with these people!Ā  Consider me a soldier in that battle too.

In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and of in the Name of the Lord GOD Jehovah — Master and Saviour of this World and KING of Kings and LORD of Lords of this World and in the great, wonderful, world to come:

I WILL NEVER SURRENDER! Ā

Murduch attacked during scandal hearing, Wendi Deng Murdoch hits attacker

I have to give ol’ Wendi Murdoch some credit, she really has some spunk in her!

Video:

The Story:

A Parliament hearing into hacking by News Corp. journalists erupted into chaos Tuesday as CEO Rupert Murdoch was attacked by a man with a shaving-cream pie.

Wendi Deng Murdoch, his wife, rose from her seat behind her husband to protect him and took a swing at the intruder. The man was taken away from the scene and the committee temporarily suspended the hearing.

The hearing continued after a brief pause with Rupert Murdoch not wearing his suit jacket and only a handful of spectators allowed in the room. The BBC reported that the alleged attacker was identified as Jonnie Marbles, who calls himself an activist and comedian.

“Mr. Murdoch, your wife has a very good left hook,” Tom Watson, member of Parliament, said near the end of the hearing.

After the committee dismissed the Murdochs, former News of the World editor and News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks sat down to answer questions.

The committee told Brooks, who was arrested last week, that they would be careful with their questioning because she is participating in a criminal investigation. She insisted that she did not know about the extent of the phone hacking

via Rupert Murdoch Scandal: Brooks in Hot seat after Rupert Attack – ABC News.

However, on a serious note, I quote Michelle Malkin, who has been a contributor at Fox News for over 10 years now:

I blasted the blame-the-hacking victim mentality demonstrated by the liberal press against Sarah Palin. I am just as incensed to see the same mentality applied to the NoTW hacking victims.

Hacking is a serious crime and grave privacy invasion. PERIOD.

Yes, it is painful to see a great media champion/entrepreneur and a great media empire — of which NoTW was just a tiny sliver — under fire. The glee and double standards of News Corp. haters on both sides of the pond are hard to stomach.

But there is no one to blame for this other than those in News Corp. who let the scandal fester, and whose inaction handed critics all the ammunition they are firing now. These are the lumps and now every single rank-and-file employee and contributor at News Corp. is being forced to suffer them.

Rupert Murdoch told the Parliament hearing panel that he ā€œcan’t imagineā€ the illegal hackings took place in the U.S. But at least one victim — actor Jude Law — has alleged his phone was hacked while in New York.

And now, one of the Parliament questioners this morning has just raised the appalling possibility of computer hackings as well as phone hackings.

The failure to address the scandal in a timely, vigorous manner has put everyone associated with News Corp. at risk of retaliation hackings.

ANY and EVERY other newspaper higher-up or Scotland Yard brass who knew about the NoTW privacy invasions, signed off on them, looked the other way, or covered it up should be held accountable in a court of law.

News consumers in the U.K. and beyond will decide in the court of public opinion what price the rest of Rupert Murdoch’s news empire should pay — as well as other non-Murdoch U.K. tabloids with hacking clouds swirling overhead.

Media conglomerates have weathered a litany of plagiarism, fabrication, and circulation fraud over the history of modern journalism. I pray News Corp. can survive this one. Contrary to the company’s salivating detractors, government-imposed journalism ethics won’t prevent or solve the lapses. Competition in the media marketplace is the best check and balance we have.

What she said.

Updated: Michelle Bachmann, a pill popper?

Heh… Figures.

In late July 2010, Rep. Michele Bachmann’s then-communications director, Dave Dziok, told his boss that he planned to take a new job with the public relations firm Edelman.

Dziok had worked for Bachmann for two and a half years, a relatively long period by the standards of her office, and was leaving on good terms.

Staff turnover can frustrate any employer, but Bachmann responded more dramatically. Dziok’s departure triggered a debilitating medical episode that landed the congresswoman in urgent care.

ā€œWithin 24 hours she was in the hospital,ā€ a former aide says.

Bachmann was admitted to a Washington, D.C. hospital on Friday, July 30, and released that same day. She flew home to Minnesota to recuperate, missing a scheduled campaign event with Sen. Roy Blunt.

It’s ā€œnothing folks should worry about going forward,ā€ Dziok told reporters at the time, refusing to specify why Bachmann had been hospitalized.

It was, according to three people who have worked closely with Bachmann, not an isolated event. (Bachmann signs ā€˜Cut, Cap, and Balance’ pledge, adds promise to defund Obamacare)

The Minnesota Republican frequently suffers from stress-induced medical episodes that she has characterized as severe headaches. These episodes, say witnesses, occur once a week on average and can ā€œincapacitateā€ her for days at time. On at least three occasions, Bachmann has landed in the hospital as a result.

Hopefully, this will spell the end of this far-right wing Religious nut job. I mean, her husband has a clinic that tries to pray the gay out of people! I mean, come on now. I never liked her much. She always looked like this wide-eyed crazy woman; like someone you would meet at a PTA meeting or something. Not to mention her record in the house of representatives is pretty thin.

As you can very well expect, the left is loving this; and the usual round of “Veal Pan” right wing blogs are whining because the Daily Caller reported the truth about this woman. Here is hoping that they continue to print the truth about all of them and not cave to the soft-fascists on the right.

Noted Anti-American, Communist, Traitor Bitch Liberal — Jane Fonda whines about her QVC appearance being cancelled

I got four words for this feckless bitch….:

I was to have been on QVC today to introduce my book, ā€œPrime Time,ā€ about aging and the life cycle. The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear. I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups. And that they did it without talking to me first. I have never shied away from talking about this as I have nothing to hide. I could have pointed out that threats of boycotts are nothing new for me and have never prevented me from having best selling books and exercise DVDs, films, and a Broadway play. Most people don’t buy into the far right lies. Many people have reached out to express how excited they were about my going onto QVC and hearing about my book.

Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. I do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths. In this case, they denied a lot of people the chance to hear about a book that can help make life better, easier and more fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for all of the support I have been getting since this happened, including from my Vietnam Veterans friends.

Confirmed: Rep. Sheila Jackson is stupid race-baiting Negro

I’m with Robbie Cooper, this chick ain’t dealing with a full deck.

Video:

The Story via The Hill:

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on Friday strongly suggested that members of Congress are making it difficult for President Obama to raise the debt ceiling because of his race.

“I do not understand what I think is the maligning and maliciousness [toward] this president,ā€ said Jackson Lee, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. ā€œWhy is he different? And in my community, that is the question that we raise. In the minority community that is question that is being raised. Why is this president being treated so disrespectfully? Why has the debt limit been raised 60 times? Why did the leader of the Senate continually talk about his job is to bring the president down to make sure he is unelected?ā€

Earlier in her speech, Jackson Lee said Obama has been targeted unlike any other president.

“I am particularly sensitive to the fact that only this president — only this one, only this one — has received the kind of attacks and disagreement and inability to work, only this one,” said Jackson Lee from the House floor.

“Read between the lines,” she continued. “What is different about this president that should put him in a position that he should not receive the same kind of respectful treatment of when it is necessary to raise the debt limit in order to pay our bills, something required by both statute and the 14th amendment?”

Jackson Lee concluded by saying that she hoped someone would step up and say that what appears obvious to her is not in fact true.

Two things here, one, this dumb bitch must have been in coma during the Bush era.

….and Ya know; people accuse me of being a “racist.” Which as a rule, I am not. But you know; this bitch tasks my feeling that all humans should be judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. I have judged this woman’s character and I have reached a conclusion.

In case you thought I was kidding about buying Gold

Here we go!

Remember when I said to buy Gold?

I was not kidding.

Check this out from the U.K. Telegraph:

As the twin pillars of international monetary system threaten to come tumbling down in unison, gold has reclaimed its ancient status as the anchor of stability. The spot price surged to an all-time high of $1,594 an ounce in London, lifting silver to $39 in its train.

On one side of the Atlantic, the eurozone debt crisis has spread to the countries that may be too big to save – Spain and Italy – though RBS thinks a €3.5 trillion rescue fund would ensure survival of Europe’s currency union.

On the other side, the recovery has sputtered out and the printing presses are being oiled again. Brinkmanship between the Congress and the White House over the US debt ceiling has compelled Moody’s to warn of a “very small but rising risk” that the world’s paramount power may default within two weeks. “The unthinkable is now thinkable,” said Ross Norman, director of thebulliondesk.com.

Fed chair Ben Bernanke confessed to Congress that growth has failed to gain traction. “Deflationary risks might re-emerge, implying a need for additional policy support,” he said.

The bar to QE3 – yet more bond purchases – is even lower than markets had thought. The new intake of hard-money men on the voting committee has not shifted Fed thinking, despite global anger at dollar debasement under QE2.

•snip•

“One of the big US banks texted me today to say that if QE3 actually happens, we could see gold at $5,000 and silver at $1,000. I feel terribly sorry for anybody on fixed incomes tied to a fiat currency because they are not going to be able to buy things with that paper money.”

•snip•

Step by step, the world is edging towards a revived Gold Standard as it becomes clearer that Japan and the West have reached debt saturation. World Bank chief Robert Zoellick said it was time to “consider employing gold as an international reference point.” The Swiss parliament is to hold hearings on a parallel “Gold Franc”. Utah has recognised gold as legal tender for tax payments.

A new Gold Standard would probably be based on a variant of the ‘Bancor’ proposed by Keynes in the late 1940s. This was a basket of 30 commodities intended to be less deflationary than pure gold, which had compounded in the Great Depression. The idea was revived by China’s central bank chief Zhou Xiaochuan two years ago as a way of curbing the “credit-based” excess.

Mr Bernanke himself was grilled by Congress this week on the role of gold. Why do people by gold? “As protection against of what we call tail risks: really, really bad outcomes,” he replied.

Indeed.

My friends, if this is not the time to buy gold; I really do not know what is.

Why is Rick Perry associating himself with dangerous religious extremists?

I hate having to write blog entries like this; mainly, because I happen to like Rick Perry. However, because I am a blogger of the truth — and because I do not want to see Rick Perry wounded in the election. I am bringing this point up.

Rick Perry has a religious wacko problem and I mean a big one!

The story comes via the Texas Observer: (H/T to Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs for pointing this out)

On September 28, 2009, at 1:40 p.m., God’s messengers visited Rick Perry.

On this day, the Lord’s messengers arrived in the form of two Texas pastors, Tom Schlueter of Arlington and Bob Long of San Marcos, who called on Perry in the governor’s office inside the state Capitol. Schlueter and Long both oversee small congregations, but they are more than just pastors. They consider themselves modern-day apostles and prophets, blessed with the same gifts as Old Testament prophets or New Testament apostles.

The pastors told Perry of God’s grand plan for Texas. A chain of powerful prophecies had proclaimed that Texas was ā€œThe Prophet State,ā€ anointed by God to lead the United States into revival and Godly government. And the governor would have a special role.

The day before the meeting, Schlueter had received a prophetic message from Chuck Pierce, an influential prophet from Denton, Texas. God had apparently commanded Schlueter—through Pierce—to ā€œpray by lifting the hand of the one I show you that is in the place of civil rule.ā€

Gov. Perry, it seemed.

Schlueter had prayed before his congregation: ā€œLord Jesus I bring to you today Gov. Perry. … I am just bringing you his hand and I pray Lord that he will grasp ahold of it. For if he does you will use him mightily.ā€

And grasp ahold the governor did. At the end of their meeting, Perry asked the two pastors to pray over him. As the pastors would later recount, the Lord spoke prophetically as Schlueter laid his hands on Perry, their heads bowed before a painting of the Battle of the Alamo. Schlueter ā€œdeclared over [Perry] that there was a leadership role beyond Texas and that Texas had a role beyond what people understand,ā€ Long later told his congregation.

Nothing wrong with that right? A couple of Ministers praying over someone right?

Well, it’s not the praying that is the problem; it’s the people doing the praying that is the problem.

This is the part of the story published that caught my eyes:

Some of the fiercest critics of the New Apostolic Reformation come from within the Pentecostal and charismatic world. The Assemblies of God Church, the largest organized Pentecostal denomination, specifically repudiated self-proclaimed prophets and apostles in 2000, calling their creed a ā€œdeviant teachingā€ that could rapidly ā€œbecome dictatorial, presumptuous, and carnal.ā€

Assemblies authorities also rejected the notion that the church is supposed to assume dominion over earthly institutions, labeling it ā€œunscriptural triumphalism.ā€

The New Apostles talk about taking dominion over American society in pastoral terms. They refer to the ā€œSeven Mountainsā€ of society: family, religion, arts and entertainment, media, government, education, and business. These are the nerve centers of society that God (or his people) must control.

Asked about the meaning of the Seven Mountains, Schlueter says, ā€œGod’s kingdom just can’t be expressed on Sunday morning for two hours. God’s kingdom has to be expressed in media and government and education. It’s not like our goal is to have a Bible on every child’s desk. That’s not the goal. The goal is to hopefully have everyone acknowledge that God’s in charge of us regardless.ā€

But climbing those mountains sounds a little more specific on Sunday mornings. Schlueter has bragged to his congregation of meetings with Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, state Sen. Brian Birdwell, and the Arlington City Council. He recently told a church in Victoria that state Rep. Phil King, a conservative Republican from Weatherford, had allowed him to use King’s office at the Capitol to make calls and organize.

ā€œWe’re going to influence it,ā€ Schlueter told his congregation. ā€œWe’re going to infiltrate it, not run from it. I know why God’s doing what he’s doing … He’s just simply saying, ā€˜Tom I’ve given you authority in a governmental authority, and I need you to infiltrate the governmental mountain. Just do it, it’s no big deal.’ I was talking with [a member of the congregation] the other day. She’s going to start infiltrating. A very simple process. She’s going to join the Republican Party, start going to all their meetings. Some [members] are already doing that.ā€

Okay, time to bust out with my Christian credentials here. As most of you know, who read this blog. I am a Born-Again Christian. but, I do not wear it on my sleeve really anymore. I have been “saved,” as the Christian World calls it, for 29 years. 21 of those years was spent in the Pentecost movement or type of Churches. I spent nine and a half years of that time in a Assembly of God Church in Southwest Detroit. So, believe me when I tell you; when it comes to this subject, I know full well, of what I speak.

When the Assembles of God denounces a group like this one here; believe me, it is for a very good reason. These people are kooks and I mean really, really, really bad kooks. The Assemblies of God in the spectrum of the Pentecostal movement are some of the most Conservative —- theologically speaking — Churches and people in the Pentecostal movement. These kooks that Rick Perry are hanging with, in that same spectrum, are the more progressive or radical kind.Ā  These people make people like Benny Hinn, Rod Parsley and the many others look like boy scouts! 😯

What I am basically trying to say is this; and I hope like the dickens that someone sees this and advises Rick Perry on it — Rick Perry, if he wants to be elected President of the United States of America, needs to put as much daylight between these people and himself as he possibly can. These people are the Christian equivalent of say, the Muslim brotherhood; except maybe they do not try to kill people. What they do want to do is this; they want to rip out the United States Constitution and have a Government that dictates its laws from the Bible. The problem with that is this; the United States of America was not founded as a Christian dictatorship, it was founded as a Constitutional Republic.

This group of people who Rick Perry is hanging with are a part of the radical, extreme Christian Right. If Rick Perry thinks that the left and the liberal media will not savage him for this sort of association; he, with all due respect to the man and the office that he now holds — is crazy.

During the 2008 election, the right — including myself —- utterly brutalized then candidate Barack Obama for his radical and Anti-American Religious affiliations. I feel, that what is fair, is fair. Because I am not entrenched in partisanship, I believe that Rick Perry should either give an account of why he is associated with these people or disassociate himself from them.Ā  As much as I know that the White House is now occupied by radical leftists — both former and current cabinet and staff members. I just do not believe that putting in a radical Christian Right President and cabinet is the answer to that problem.

We need a strong fiscal Conservative in the White House to bring this Nation back to its rightful place. We do not need some radical Religious nut-job in the White House. Lord knows, we had eight good years of that, and look what it got us. I say that as someone who suffered through those eight years. Also too, Do not think that I say this as a Fundamentalist Baptist with a “hard on” against Pentecostals. This is someone who has been around in the Christian world for a LONG TIME and I have seen what those people believe, and even as Pentecostals; they as nutty as they come.

In closing: Rick Perry needs to do the proper and right thing; or he should forget about running for President.

Obamaomics at work: US Dollar on the run

Once again, our feckless president cannot lead….and meanwhile, our Country is about to go into the toilet.

The story is via Reuters: (H/T to Insty)

The New Zealand dollar was a stand out performer, soaring to 30-year highs after data showed the economy grew far faster than expected in the first quarter.

The kiwi flew to $0.8491, a rise of 3.7 percent in just two sessions, as the upbeat news revived the chance of a rate hike before year-end.

That stood in stark contrast to the United States, where Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke had canvassed the idea of further quantitative easing should the economy stall

“Three months ago all the focus was on the exit from unconventional policy; now Bernanke mentions the conditional possibility of QE3,” said Paul Meggyesi at JPMorgan. “This is unambiguously bad for the dollar and good for risk.”

Investors seemed to agree, sending commodities and gold higher and lifting growth-leveraged currencies like the Australian dollar.

The U.S. dollar slid to a fresh record low against the Swiss franc around 0.8089 francs, while the euro leaped to $1.4253 having been as low as $1.3984. The dollar also deflated to 78.83 yen with only talk of semi-official bids preventing a break of major support around 78.40/50.

Against a basket of currencies, the dollar was down at 74.773 .DXY, having tumbled for a high of 76.053.

In a double whammy for the U.S. currency, Moody’s warned the country could lose its top-notch credit rating if lawmakers fail to increase the country’s debt ceiling.

In a statement, Moody’s said it sees a “rising possibility that the statutory debt limit will not be raised on a timely basis, leading to a default on U.S. Treasury debt obligations.”

Meanwhile, what does our President do, instead of actually trying to lead the Country? He walks out like a silly two year old:

President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of a stormy debt-limit meeting with congressional leaders Wednesday, a dramatic setback to the already shaky negotiations.

ā€œHe shoved back and said ā€˜I’ll see you tomorrow’ and walked out,ā€ House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told reporters in the Capitol after the meeting.

On a day when the Moody’s rating agency warned that American debt could be downgraded, the White House talks blew up amid a new round of sniping between Obama and Cantor, who are fast becoming bitter enemies.

When Cantor said the two sides were too far apart to get a deal that could pass the House by the Treasury Department’s Aug. 2 deadline — and that he would consider moving a short-term debt-limit increase alongside smaller spending cuts — Obama began to lecture him.

ā€œEric, don’t call my bluff,ā€ the president said, warning Cantor that he would take his case ā€œto the American people.ā€ He told Cantor that no other president — not Ronald Reagan, the president said — would sit through such negotiations.

Democratic sources dispute Cantor’s version of Obama’s walk out, but all sides agree that the two had a blow up. The sources described Obama as ā€œimpassionedā€ but said he didn’t exactly storm out of the room.

ā€œCantor’s account of tonight’s meeting is completely overblown. For someone who knows how to walk out of a meeting, you’d think he’d know it when he saw it,ā€ a Democratic aide said. ā€œCantor rudely interrupted the president three times to advocate for short-term debt ceiling increases while the president was wrapping the meeting. This is just more juvenile behavior from him and Boehner needs to rein him in, and let the grown-ups get to work.ā€

On exiting the room, Obama said that ā€œthis confirms the totality of what the American people already believeā€ about Washington, according to a Democratic official familiar with the negotiations, and that officials are ā€œtoo focused on positioning and political posturingā€ to make difficult choices.

Cantor insists he never interrupted the president, and was ā€œdeferential,ā€ seeking permission to speak.

The latest and sharpest in a series of harsh exchanges between the two leaders heightened concern that markets could crash at any time amid fear of a reduction in the rating on once-ironclad U.S. debt.

Cantor, for his part, delivered the blow-by-blue of his interaction with Obama to a gaggle of Capitol Hill reporters in the Speaker’s Lobby, where lawmakers typically mingle with reporters during votes. It wasn’t through aides — it was Cantor taking on the president, directly.

Cantor accused the president and congressional Democrats of progressively low-balling, over the last several days, the savings that could be achieved from proposals discussed by Vice President Joe Biden’s working group on deficit reduction. Cantor warned that the group has not identified enough cuts to win House passage of a $2.5 trillion debt-limit increase — the size the president says is needed to get through the 2012 election, sources told POLITICO.

Obama told Cantor that he would either have to agree to tax increases or give up on his demand that the debt hike be matched dollar-to-dollar to the cuts — that is, $2.5 trillion in deficit-reduction over 10 years in exchange for a $2.5 trillion hike in the debt ceiling.

He said that the negotiators should return to the White House Thursday to discuss savings from health care programs, budget caps and options for raising revenue.

ā€œThen he said we also ought to get in the mode here, because we’re going to have to decide by Friday which way we’re going,ā€ Cantor said. ā€œHe said really we ought to all start to think about things we can do rather than things we can’t.ā€

That’s when Cantor said he would be willing to abandon his own insistence on having just one vote on the debt ceiling if they could agree to a smaller package of cuts in exchange for a shorter-term hike that would require another increase before the 2012 election.

But Obama said he wouldn’t do the debt-limit increase incrementally and that he would veto a short-term bill.

ā€œThat’s when he got very agitated,ā€ Cantor told reporters.

ā€œObama lit him up. Cantor sat in stunned silence,ā€ said an official in the meeting. ā€œIt was incredible. If the public saw Obama he would win in a landslide.

Yessir, America; that is your President, whining like a damned two-year-old, when he does not get his way. Meanwhile the Country and the World is going into the toilet. This is what Democrats do, they screw up things, and when the time comes to act like adults, this is what happens.

I mean, I hate having to repeat myself; but the Democrats, on top of the spending of Bush, spent more, like drunken Sailors and to what end? Nothing! I mean, we have all this debt and where are the damned jobs? There are none! Now that it is time to work to keep the US from defaulting on loans from places like China; what does the President do? Walks out on the Republicans! What an idiot!

Just a reminder, this is the result of the failed Obama-Pelosi stimulus plan.

Remember this come November 2012; if we even last that long.

More of that Religion of Peace: Terrorist Attacks in Mumbai leave 8 dead and 54 injured

These people want peace, like this? Right!

Video of the scene:

The story:

Three separate explosions tore through a business district in India’s Mumbai Wednesday, leaving at least eight people dead and 54 injured, authorities said. Less than an hour after the series of blasts, its Home Ministry confirmed a terrorist attack and placed the entire city on high alert.

Although no group claimed responsibility, the explosions hit locations where a terror siege nearly three years ago killed 166 people. Wednesday also coincided with the birthday of the lone surviving gunman of the 2008 attack.

Indian officials say they suspect the responsibility of Wednesday’s attack rests with the Indian Mujahideen, a group that works closely with Lashkar-e-Taiba, is the group accused of being behind the 2008 attack.

The blasts hit the crowded Dadar neighborhood at rush hour, the famed jewelry market Jhaveri Bazaar and the busy business district of Opera House, an official at the city’s Police Control Room said. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of office policy.

The explosions happened around 7 p.m., when all the neighborhoods would have been packed with office workers and commuters.

But yet, we are the aggressors; we Zionist Americans are the killers, at least according those like AntiWar.com and the rest of the Arab community. What rubbish, if you honestly believe that sort of nonsense; you deserve whatever befalls you.

Now watch the Obama Administration actually try to blame America for these attacks.

Needless to say, there are some very unhappy people on twitter right now.

Update: Now a Memeornadum Thread.

Update #2:Ā  I will say this; and this can be taken as my official reaction:

“If the Saint Louis justice system thinks that they were doing the United States of America any favors, by ruling this way — they are dead wrong. This incident and trial,Ā  has been a lightening rod of the Tea Party movement and of the far right for a very long time. I hate to be the one to say it; but here it is — This is the sort of stuff that pushes or inspires lone wolf extremists to do like that which Timothy McVeigh did in Oklahoma City. The liberals have just lit the fuse on this one; I just hope like hell, that they can deal with the fall out. There are some Americans, who when they see that the justice system gives them no relief, they act out. This is one of those sort of times. I do truly hope and pray that common sense and cool heads prevail. But I fear otherwise. Here is hoping that I am terribly wrong and that nothing becomes of this; other than a good deal of bickering on twitter.”

Here’s another fine reason why I detest President Barack Obama

He’s nothing more than baldfaced liar.

Via Bryan York over at the Washington Examiner:

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Barack Obama often discussed his mother’s struggle with cancer. Ann Dunham spent the months before her death in 1995, Obama said, fighting with insurance companies that sought to deny her the coverage she needed to pay for treatment.

“I remember in the last month of her life, she wasn’t thinking about how to get well, she wasn’t thinking about coming to terms with her own mortality, she was thinking about whether or not insurance was going to cover the medical bills and whether our family would be bankrupt as a consequence,” Obama said in September 2007.

“She was in her hospital room looking at insurance forms because the insurance company said that maybe she had a pre-existing condition and maybe they wouldn’t have to reimburse her for her medical bills,” Obama added in January 2008.

“The insurance companies were saying, ‘Maybe there’s a pre-existing condition and we don’t have to pay your medical bills,’ ” Obama said in a debate with Republican opponent Sen. John McCain in October 2008.

It was a simple and powerful story, one Obama would tell many more times as president during the national health care debate. But now we’re learning the real story of Ann Dunham’s health coverage is not quite what her son made it out to be.

However, there is this:

According to the book, Ann Dunham, an anthropologist who spent most of her working life in Indonesia, moved from Jakarta to New York in 1992 to work for a nonprofit called Women’s World Banking, which encouraged micro-lending in Third World countries. Unhappy in New York, in 1994 Dunham took a job with an American company called Development Alternatives, which had a contract with the Indonesian State Ministry for the Role of Women. Dunham returned to Jakarta to work, and Scott reports the job provided Dunham with health insurance, a housing allowance, and a car.

At the time she took the job, Dunham was increasingly worried about her health; she was suffering from intense abdominal pains. In November 1994, Dunham went to an Indonesian doctor who diagnosed appendicitis. As Dunham debated whether to leave the country for surgery, she called her boss at Development Alternatives. “You’ve got health insurance, that’s taken care of,” the boss told her. “We can cover the airfare.”

Dunham decided to stay in Jakarta, where she underwent an appendectomy. But the pain did not go away, and Dunham feared, correctly, that she was terribly ill. In January 1995 she left Indonesia to go home to Honolulu, where she was diagnosed with advanced uterine and ovarian cancer. She began a regime of surgery and chemotherapy.

That is the time during which Obama says his mother battled insurance companies to cover her illness. But Scott, who had access to Dunham’s correspondence from the time, reveals that Dunham unquestionably had health coverage. “Ann’s compensation for her job in Jakarta had included health insurance, which covered most of the costs of her medical treatment,” Scott writes. “Once she was back in Hawaii, the hospital billed her insurance company directly, leaving Ann to pay only the deductible and any uncovered expenses, which, she said, came to several hundred dollars a month.”

Scott writes that Dunham, who wanted to be compensated for those costs as well as for her living expenses, “filed a separate claim under her employer’s disability insurance policy.” It was that claim, with the insurance company CIGNA, that was denied in August 1995 because, CIGNA investigators said, Dunham’s condition was known before she was covered by the policy.

Dunham protested the decision and, Scott writes, “informed CIGNA that she was turning over the case to ‘my son and attorney, Barack Obama.’ ” CIGNA did not budge.

In September 1995, Dunham traveled to New York for an evaluation at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Returning to Hawaii, she began a new course of treatment. She died in November.

A dozen years later, her son turned her ordeal into a campaign pitch for national health care. But the story Obama told, Scott writes, was “abbreviated” — the abbreviation was to leave out the fact that Ann Dunham had health insurance that paid for her treatment. “Though he often suggested that she was denied health coverage because of a pre-existing condition,” Scott writes, “it appears from her correspondence that she was only denied disability coverage.”

That’s a different story altogether. One the president never told.

I hated to quote all of that; but that, right there, is why I cannot stand this President. Not only is this man a socialist. He is a baldfaced liar. Who would use anything, and it appears anyone; including his own dead Mother as a political prop.

That, is why I did not vote for him and that is why I changed sides, and that is why I will never vote Democrat ever again. 😔

The End of an Era: Representative Ron Paul will not seek another term in 2012

The news comes from Ron Paul’s local hometown paper:

LAKE JACKSON — After serving almost 24 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Ron Paul told The Facts exclusively this morning he will not be seeking another term for the District 14 seat.

Paul, 75, will instead focus on his quest for the presidency in 2012.

ā€œI felt it was better that I concentrate on one election,ā€ Paul said. ā€œIt’s about that time when I should change tactics.ā€

His announcement will give enough time for anyone with aspirations for his seat to think about running, he said. Paul didn’t want to wait for filing in the 2012 primary to let people know he wasn’t seeking reelection.

ā€œI didn’t want to hold off until in December,ā€ he said. ā€œI thought it shouldn’t be any later than now.ā€

Paul has served 12 terms in Congress. District 14 encompasses a 10-county area along the Gulf Coast.

ā€œThe people in the area have supported me for many years,ā€ he said.

Ed Morrissey over at HotAir.com, who is not a Ron Paul fan at all; offers some fact correction and some straight talk:

The Facts needs to do The Math.Ā  Paul first won election to Congress in a 1976 special election, lost later that year, and then won again in 1978.Ā  He’s served parts of 18 terms in the House, which adds up in this case to a little over 34 years when his current term expires.

Paul either really wants to retire or really thinks that he’s on the cusp of a major upset in the GOP primary.Ā  I’ll assume that he has a somewhat realistic view of his prospects in this primary, where he might wind up as the runner-up among Texans if Rick Perry jumps into the race.Ā  He’ll be 76 years old next month, and with his son in the Senate, Paul may feel comfortable with retirement after one last national campaign that puts his somewhat erratic libertarianism on the GOP presidential agenda for a second straight cycle.Ā  If he’s not taking a realistic view of his chances, then perhaps he believes that the only thing that held him back from besting John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Mike Huckabee in any 2008 primary was his simultaneous campaign for re-election.Ā  If so, then he really needs this retirement.

Of course, Paul could change his mind before the end of the year, but after this kind of announcement, it would be hard to sell even to the adoring voters in his district.Ā  Looks like the end of the road for the man best known for contrarian votes on meaningless resolutions and for railing against government spending while garnering pork for his constituents.

I agree with the above, especially the underlined part.Ā  When I discovered that little tidbit of information, that was when I basically dropped my support of Ron Paul. Besides all of that; The Ron Paul cult did the same thing as the Barack Obama cult did, made the man into something he was not.Ā  When Ron Paul saw that he could not win the Presidency in 2008 and decided to give his support to the rest of the 2008 independent candidates, some of the Ron Paul cult almost went into meltdown. Some of them even turned on him and accused him of being a puppet for the Illuminati or something. It wasĀ a strange thing to watch.

Not only this, point-blank; the man is just not electable, period, end of story. Heck, even his supporters openly admit that, “It is not about winning, it is about spreading the message.” To which I ask, what is the purpose of spending all that money, time and effort into a person, who really does not give a hoot if he is elected or not? That my friends, is the epitome of stupid. Not to mention that he has associations and has taken money from people, who are, in my humble opinion, just straight up evil.

As I have said before, I respect Ron Paul on his fiscal policy; but his foreign policy; in this day and age of external threats to our Nation —- irregardless of what caused them — the fact is that they are there, and Ron Paul’s foreign policy is just not realistic. You cannot offer flowers and rainbows to people who want to kill you. It is just that damn simple. The only thing that terrorists and evil people, like some of Ron Paul’s friends understand; is the end of a gun — and we should keep that in mind, when voting for our next President.

Other than that, I wish Ron Paul a very happy retirement and I thank him for his service to his Country. I also thank him for returning his Congressional seat back to the adults in politics. šŸ˜€

Foursquare is worth 600 Million Dollars?!?!?!

Holy freaking crap… 😯

I am, indeed, in the wrong freaking business.

Video:

The Story via the WSJ:

Start-up Foursquare Labs Inc. has a large user base and a $600 million valuation, but unlike social-media stars Zynga Inc. and LinkedIn Corp., it has a big hole on the revenue line.

Now, the service, which lets users announce their location to friends by “checking in” at bars, restaurants and other venues via cellphone, hopes to ease its revenue problem with a series of pacts to remarket daily coupon deals from LivingSocial, Gilt Groupe and AT&T Inc. to its 10 million users.

New York-based Foursquare is in talks on a similar arrangement with Groupon Inc., people familiar with the matter said.

Foursquare will begin making the deals available Tuesday. Chief Executive Dennis Crowley said it will get revenue from the deals it sells for its partners, but declined to specify the breakdown.

The move is Foursquare’s most significant attempt yet to build a revenue stream. If it works, it could reduce the skepticism toward the start-up’s business model.

Despite its growing user base and brand, the three-year-old company hasn’t come up with a way of making much money from its service. Foursquare thinks its location-tracking capability and data, such as where a subscriber’s friends are checking in, will help it better target daily deals and produce a higher conversion rate for them in the increasingly crowded market.

Foursquare has checked into a new office in San Francisco, its first outside of New York. Co-founder Naveen Selvadurai talked with Stacey Delo about how the company isn’t concerned about revenue or valuations, but is concerned about privacy.

“We are trying to see if our targeting works and how users will react,” Mr. Crowley said in an interview in Foursquare’s New York office. “The deals haven’t been heavily targeted with some of these providers.”

Jake Maas, senior vice president of business development for LivingSocial, said the deal with Foursquare adds another distribution channel for his company, which already markets deals through websites and bloggers. “We’ll see where it goes, but we are optimistic,” he said.

AT&T has started its own location-based deals service, but AT&T Interactive CEO David Krantz said partnerships in which companies share deals and users will become more common as the market gets more competitive.

“Nobody reaches everyone,” said Mr. Krantz. “You will see a web of top players who have sales forces and brands working together.”

Foursquare also has struck agreements to market offers from group-deal site BuyWithMe and from Zozi, which offers deals on activities like golf lessons. Gilt City, the Gilt Groupe subsidiary that offers daily deals, will be offering the deals to Foursquare.

Would it be wrong of me to hate on a guy that stands to make that much coin; off something like that? Maybe just a little?

Nah, if he designed it and it took off; I am all for it. God Bless the man and hope he puts it to good use.

But 600 Million?!?!? Holy Moses. 😯
