UPDATED I get mail from the unhinged left

It is not pretty either….

I guess for expressing my true feelings about the far socialist left in this country has hit a nerve.

I got this lovely e-mail tonight:

You made a tweet stating that liberals such as myself should be given one chance to renounce our position or be sent to the ovens.

I trust that since you have so completely renounced the teachings of Jesus concerning killing, treatment of others, and forgiveness, you’ll be immediately removing all mentions of religion from your site? After all, you obviously are not a Christian in any sense of the word.

Secondly, I refuse to renounce my position. Feel free to come and get me. I’m a retirted Airboren Ranger, and will happily meet you with the welcome my grandfahters gave to the Nazis back in World War II: A hail of lead and an unmarked grave.

Not that an internet blowhard like you would ever actually do anything.

Get out of my country.

Now I know how Juan Williams and Michelle Malkin feel. 🙄

Hey, I make zero apologies for how I feel about the far socialist left. I would like to think that not all Democrats are like this; but I am really beginning to wonder. Either way,. it does not matter. The left’s agenda is on indefinite hold and will be for the next 3 years. I doubt Obama will run for a second term.  I look for the Democrats to get trounced in the 2012 election. This defeat last night was just a warm up.

Anyhow, I thought you all would like to see the venom that the left spews, when someone speaks their mind about the far left in this Country.

Now, before some idiot liberal says it or asks — do I consider what I said to be hate speech? Nope. I reject that term “Hate Speech” entirely. That is a method by the liberal left in this control freedom of speech. I believe that ALL AMERICANS, should be free to say what they want. As long as that speech does not cause mass hysteria or panic. Example: Yelling fire in a theater. However, expressing one’s feelings about a group of political fiends — is not hate speech in my book.

So, put that in your pipe and SMOKE IT liberals! HA! Because you will be waiting a LONG time before you’ll be getting an apology out of me. Sarcastic smile

Update: Even more pearls of wisdom from the unhinged left:

Disclaimer: The presentation of this Video should not be considered an endorsement of the contents thereof. It is simply presented for education and entertainment purposes only.

In this edition of the Reality Report Gary Franchi presents the activist beat down footage initiated by the not so funny writers of the Daily Show. Nina Police breaks down the headlines including midterm elections, the Illinois gubernatorial recall vote, Obama’s recent enemy declarations and a new website that will empower
Americans to take action on the issues. Gary provides a candid sneak preview interview with Sheriff Richard Mack from his new film Enemy of the State Camp FEMA 2. He also presents the guest list for this Friday nights special web-cast of “Late Stream LIVE”. Viewers weigh in on the existence of chemtrails and a new “Enemy of the State” is eternally branded.

We did well here in Michigan WOW! 😯

My Democratic Party voting Mother and Father are maaaaaad! Woo Wee! 😯 They now refer to the newly elected Republican Governor as “Your Buddy….” sarcastically. I just smile and say, “Blame Granholm!”  😀

I say that to all the Democrats who are ticked off…. Don’t like being defeated? Don’t elect idiots… Just that simple.

Of course, I tend to believe this had something to do with it too.  Americans are just not cool with that sort of thuggery…

As for me, I’m going to bed… More blogging and opinion tomorrow…

Video: Unhinged Black Democrat

Video: (Via Michelle Malkin)

The Washington Examiner has the story:

If you thought negative campaign ads were a problem in this election, perhaps you haven’t spent enough time in Virginia’s 5th district. This video depicts two men unleashing a string of racial epithets at members of Americans for Prosperity, who took the video. While flailing arms and shouting, the two also start yanking signs off of private property and throwing them aside, while saying, “This is public space. I pay taxpayer dollars while y’all to spread racism and bigotry.”

Michelle Malkin Says:

Especially love how he screams “You f**king House nigger white-black bitch!” at a black GOP woman and then turns around and screams “RAAAAACIST!” at her and the rest of the peaceful conservative activists peacefully sitting together in their yard.

I am seriously starting to believe that people like Trent Lott and Strom Thurmond…. were absolutely right. 😀

Countdown to some unhinged Black liberal coming here and calling me a “RAAAACIST!” 🙄

Because you know, like the guy in the video says, if that would have been a Conservative tearing those signs down, they would have been placed in jail in a big ol’ hurry. But, because he is a Democrat and black; he gets away with it. That is how it works anymore. If you are black, you can kill someone and just about get away with it. Just ask Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

Remember folks, VOTE and end this sort of crap! 😡

I voted

Yes, I did.

Here’s my sticker to prove it:

My Sticker

Another shot:

Good spot for that sticker! 🙂

I do hope that you would do the same, because honestly, those who do not vote — have no right to complain.

Yes, I voted Republican. Because no libertarian has ever won an election that meant anything and because I believe that the Republican Party learned its lesson with the mistakes of Bush and is now working to get back to its true principles.

I love this Country and I want to see the America; that I grew up in, preserved. My vote was an effort to do just that.

I will be blogging about the returns later tonight. Hopefully, we can right this ship.

UPDATED: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple bombs found on various planes coming from Yemen

So much for Al-Qaeda not being a threat!

CNN is reporting:

[Update 11:38 a.m.] A bomb squad in New York City is responding to a report of a suspected explosive device inside a package aboard a UPS truck in Queens, the deputy police commissioner said Friday. Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne declined to say whether the discovery is connected to the incidents at the Newark and Philadelphia airports.

[Update 11:31 a.m.] Investigators in the United Kingdom found a suspicious device containing a “manipulated” toner cartridge aboard a plane flying from Yemen to Chicago when it stopped in London on Thursday night – one reason for heightened concern at U.S. airports on Friday, a law-enforcement source with detailed knowledge of the investigation said. The device tested negative for explosive material.

[Update 11:18 a.m.] Investigators in the United Kingdom found a bomb disguised as a toner cartridge aboard a plane flying from Yemen to Chicago when it stopped in London on Thursday night – one reason for heightened concern at U.S. airports on Friday, a law-enforcement source with detailed knowledge of the investigation said.

Two UPS cargo planes at Philadelphia International Airport and another at Newark International Airport are being examined for questionable shipments, the company said. One of the planes at Philadelphia came from Paris, the other from Cologne, Germany, UPS said. The plane at Newark also arrived from Cologne.

The company could not confirm the number of crew members on the planes.

[Update 11:12 a.m.] UPS says it is cooperating with authorities at the Philadelphia airport, and the cargo is being removed from its plane.

[Update 10:57 a.m.] The Transportation Security Administration is monitoring reports of potentially suspicious items onboard cargo flights that landed safely at Newark Liberty and Philadelphia International airports. The planes were moved to a remote location where they are being met by law enforcement officials and swept.

Two planes at Philadelphia International Airport are being examined, fire department officials said Friday. One is a UPS plane, officials said, and the other is a commercial plane with no one aboard. Hazardous materials units have arrived at the airport, where three people have been taken from one of the planes. Those people tested negative for hazardous materials, officials said. They would not say what type of material may be involved.

[Original post] The hazardous materials unit of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, fire department is responding to an incident involving two planes at Philadelphia International Airport, Fire Chief Carlton Grimes said.

Two people were evacuated from a plane and are waiting for units to investigate or mitigate the situation. He could not confirm what kind of material is on the plane.

Live video feed from PA here, NJ Here, NY Package feed here

Fox News is reporting that Homeland Security is investigating:

Authorities are investigating suspicious packages found on UPS planes at Philadelphia International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport and another on a UPS truck in Queens, NY.

Another UPS flight from Yemen to Chicago reportedly also was stopped in London and found to contain an ink toner cartridge converted to a bomb. Though other reports contradict that account.

A crew member arriving to Philadelphia on a UPS flight from Paris notified authorities of a suspicious package on board describing a potential radiological component, a local CBS affiliate reported.

Philadelphia police and firefighters greeted the inbound flight shortly after 9 a.m. and the two occupants exited the aircraft, the station reported.

Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Kristin Lee said a second UPS plane,  which landed safely at Newark Liberty also is being investigated. Both planes have been moved to a remote location, Lee said.

UPDATE: Fox News is report that no radiological components in the flight in NJ. Nothing has been confirmed at all. Stay tuned.

UPDATE #2: Suspicious Package found in Portland, Maine. Update #4: Suspicious Package found hidden in the Bushes at the Court House; Fox News is reporting.

Update #3 Hot Air is covering this story as well. Good Job Ed. 🙂

Update #5: White House Official Statement:

Last night, intelligence and law enforcement agencies discovered potential suspicious packages on two planes in transit to the United States. Based on close cooperation among U.S. government agencies and with our foreign allies and partners, authorities were able to identify and examine two suspicious packages, one in London and one in Dubai. Both of these packages originated from Yemen. As a result of security precautions triggered by this threat, the additional measures were taken regarding the flights at Newark Liberty and Philadelphia International Airports.

The President was notified of a potential terrorist threat on Thursday night at 10:35, by John Brennan, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counter-terrorism. The President directed U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and the Department of Homeland Security, to take steps to ensure the safety and security of the American people, and to determine whether these threats are a part of any additional terrorist plotting. The President has received regular updates from his national security team since he was alerted to the threat.

Update #6: Video of the suspect device via CNN:

Update #7: I thought this was overblown nothing. I might have been wrong, here’s the updates:

  • Ed over at HotAir reports:

Fox confirms that officials are concerned over “several” suspicious packages, with destinations in Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York. The two planes in Philadelphia being checked came from Paris and Cologne, Germany, according to the AP.

  • Newark plane and two trucks in NYC have been cleared according to CBS NEWS.
  • CNN Reports the following:

U.S. officials believe that al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula was behind the plot that caused a security scare at English and American airports on Friday.

A Yemeni diplomat in Washington says the Yemeni government has opened a full investigation into a suspicious device that was shipped from the country to the East Midlands Airport in the United Kingdom. …

In the last 24 hours, security officials received a tip from an unnamed ally that packages coming from Yemen were destined for synagogues in Chicago, Illinois, according to information given to CNN contributor Fran Townsend.

Ed over HotAir also reports the following:

Update VIII:  In case it wasn’t obvious, the initial investigations resulted from a tip, not routine security processing, according to CNN (same link)

Fox News is also reporting that the Military is escorting a plane to a JFK Airport:

DEVELOPING: Miltary jets are escorting a commercial passenger jet to JFK airport in New York.

The flight, which contains a package from Yemen, was escorted by Canadian F-18s to the the U.S. border and has since been picked up by two American F-15s.

The FBI says there is no known threat associated with the flight at this time.

Federal authorities were stepping up aviation security precautions after cargo planes were grounded at two U.S. airports in response to suspicious packages that may have been part of a “dry run” for a future Al Qaeda plot.

Update #8: Not surprisingly, the Alex Jones crowd is living in utter denial. Did I ever mention that Alex Jones wife is Jewish, as is his producer? Just something you should know. More of his stupidity here.

Consider this a live blog and I will post update as I get them.

How come the media is not reporting this? — FBI links shooting at Marine Corps recruiting station to 2 others

I do not expect the liberal owned and controlled media to report this; except maybe when someone dies and they celebrate it:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The FBI said on Thursday that it has linked a shooting at a Marine Corps recruiting station in a Virginia suburb outside the U.S. capital to two other shootings at the Pentagon and a Marine Corps museum.

“A shooting at a military-related facility in Chantilly, Va., has been linked to two earlier shootings at similar facilities, laboratory tests show,” the FBI said in a statement, adding that it would not release more details.

Investigators believe a high-powered rifle was used to fire up to seven shots at the Pentagon, shattering two windows, on October 19. The FBI said it had linked that shooting to another two days earlier at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, in Triangle, Virginia, 36 miles south of Washington.

No one was injured in the shootings and the FBI said they “all involved shots fired into vacant parts of the buildings.”

The FBI said it was investigating, along with local authorities, and asked for help from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at the three sites.

The Pentagon said it was tightening security for this weekend’s Marine Corps marathon in the wake of the shootings.

via FBI links shooting at recruiting center to 2 others – Yahoo! Finance.

This is awful, hopefully they catch this or these idiots. Now, unlike some bloggers; I will not speculate on political leanings or even if it is a Muslim terrorist or just some idiot whack job with a gun. Because stuff like this goes well beyond politics or even religious extremism. What matters here is that this….person, if you dare call him that, is using a gun to scare people and is targeting the Military. Now, I do not give a flying fark what your politics is; that my friends, is just damned wrong.

Here is hoping that they catch this so-of-a-bitch and put him behind bars….for good. I am all for Second Amendment rights, but I AM NOT for using guns, of any sort, for unlawful purposes!

Prayers for those in the area.

The Christine O’Donnell story is supposedly false and a smear

With emphases on supposedly:

Christine O’Donnell’s campaign late Thursday night responded to an anonymous Gawker post claiming a drunken encounter with Delaware’s Republican Senate nominee, calling it “sexism and slander.”

“This story is just another example of the sexism and slander that female candidates are forced to deal with — from Secretary [Hillary] Clinton to Gov. [Sarah] Palin to soon-to-be Gov. [Nikki] Haley. Christine’s political opponents have been willing to engage in appalling and baseless attacks — all with the aim of distracting the press from covering the real issues in this race,” O’Donnell Communications Director Doug Sachtleben wrote in a post on Facebook.

via Christine O’Donnell camp rips Gawker ‘slander’ – Andy Barr – POLITICO.com.

What really strikes me as funny, is this. Look what NOW’s President said:

Sexist, misogynist attacks against women have no place in the electoral process, regardless of a particular candidate’s political ideology.

Today the tabloid website Gawker published an anonymous piece titled “I Had A One-Night Stand With Christine O’Donnell” that takes the routine sexual degradation of women candidates to a disgusting new low. NOW repudiates Gawker’s decision to run this piece. It operates as public sexual harassment. And like all sexual harassment, it targets not only O’Donnell, but all women contemplating stepping into the public sphere.

NOW/PAC has proudly endorsed women’s rights champion Chris Coons, O’Donnell’s opponent in the Delaware Senate race, and finds O’Donnell’s political positions dangerous for women. That does not mean it’s acceptable to use slut-shaming against her, or any woman.

NOW has repeatedly called out misogyny against women candidates, and this election season is no different. Let me be honest: I look forward to seeing Christine O’Donnell defeated at the polls, but this kind of sexist attack is an affront to all women, and I won’t stand for it.

Ah, yes, the joys of gender entitlement. So, O’Donnell is entitled to kid glove treatment —- because she is a woman. 🙄

Let me tell you all something, politics is a contact sport and if this woman cannot handle a little rough treatment, she needs to get the hell out of the political arena and quick!

Anyhow, the roundup on this story is located here, go read, if you need a good laugh.

It just strikes me as quite funny that somehow a woman is afford some sort of special privilege in politics, because she is a woman. If she cannot handle smears that this, without whining like a two year old; how is show supposed to handle the problems of Delaware?

Here we go again: Canada’s Human Rights Commission is going after another Blogger

Again? Yes, Again.

Blazing Cat Fur has the Story:

About 18 months ago everybody’s favourite Ex-Canadian Human Rights Commission employee Richard Warman launched one of his many, as in very many, SLAPP suits against yours truly for, among other dastardly deeds, linking to the “far-right web site http://www.steynonline.com/“. Sheesh everybody knows Mark Steyn is controversial.

It gets better. I’m also being sued for linking to a web site while specifically referring to “the allegations” against Richard Warman. But what else would you expect from Warman, a man so tone deaf he actually believed he could win the support of both the CJC and B’nai Brith in a hate crime complaint against the JDL, who dared offend him by showing the Geert Wilders film “Fitna”.

Warman is also suing for comments made by multiple readers. In one instance for the heinous crime of calling him a “Bully”. We all know what this SLAPP suit is really all about. Warman is using every lawfare tactic he can to prevent a discussion in the public interest of Section 13 (1) and the CHRC. A discussion in which he must feature prominently.

Warman is suing me for $500,000.00 Dollars. A ridiculous amount for an equally ridiculous lawsuit. Nonetheless even nuisance suits such as this must be defended against. To date legal fees have run me about 10K. I’ve covered that from my own pocket. I am now asking for your help. I know times are hard for many of us but if every reader who visited daily were to contribute 5 or 10 dollars then that would go a long way to helping all of us out.

This is your fight too, well except for the lawyer stuff anyway;)

Karl Rove on Sarah Palin

From the U.K. Telegraph:

“With all due candour, appearing on your own reality show on the Discovery Channel, I am not certain how that fits in the American calculus of ‘that helps me see you in the Oval Office’,” Mr Rove told The Daily Telegraph in an interview.

He added that the promotional clip for Sarah Palin’s Alaska could be especially detrimental to any political campaign. It features the mother of five in the great outdoors saying: “I would rather be doing this than in some stuffy old political office.”

Mr Rove, who remains a major force on the US political scene, also implied that Mrs Palin lacked the stomach for the rigours of a presidential primary campaign, which will begin early next year before the first polls in 2012.

Mr Rove was asked if the 46-year-old Mrs Palin, who is among the front-runners for the next Republican nomination, would be a wise choice if the party wanted to seize the White House from President Barack Obama. He replied: “You can make a plausible case for any of them on paper, but it is not going to be paper in 2011. It’s going to be blood, it’s going to be sweat and tears and it’s going to be hard effort.

Christopher Manion on Karl Rove:

From the record, let’s review Mr. Rove’s historic qualifiers for “gravitas”:

  • defy the Constitution and act on the basis of your gut
  • as a “good Christian,” embrace Lenin’s view of “permanent revolution,” as long as it’s democratic and imposed by American armed force and permanent occupation
  • shoot your best friend in the face, almost blinding him, and never apologize (OK, it was Cheney, but in Texas, and Bush picked him)
  • betray the key promises you made in your campaign
  • thrive on constantly instilling fear in the populace
  • destroy liberty, privacy rights, the economy, the dollar, the GOP (“them that brung ya,” in the words of another famous Texan), the conservative and pro-life movements (without whom you’d have lost miserably), while you foment international contempt for the United States and its people
  • always insist that your unconstitutional wars are “America’s”
  • hide proof (now revealed) that as Commander-in-Chief you approved orders that US troops should not interfere when the puppet government installed by US occupiers tortured prisoners handed over to them by US forces
  • hand the country over on a silver platter to a pretentious, vapid, inexperienced, and egoistic nobody — a man much like yourself, come to think of it
  • never apologize, and schedule a book tour trumpeting your “successes”

Question for Mr. Rove: Karl, Mrs. Palin aside (apparently, for all her faults, you can’t control her), who could be a worthy successor to this legacy of the marvelous W? Please advise, and thanks.

Those who live in glass houses, should not throw stones. On the other hand, I am not a Palin fan, at all. But, I do not think that Karl Rove — of all people — ought to be commenting on anyone at all.

Hi Patrick,

I wanted to let you know we've stopped Blogads sales for your site. We
will pay out any outstanding funds. Your adstrips will stop functioning
within the next few days -- if you leave it up on the site, the ghost
adstrip code won't disrupt your site's serving. While we realize
Blogads.com is imperfect and has frustrated you, we don't want to be
associated with your abusive language about our staff and service.

Best,
Marc

My first reaction was, basically, to chuckle a bit. What happened was this; I was trying to edit an ad spot here a few days ago and the server that handles the ad editing — was slow, as in very, very, slow. Therefore, I hopped over to the facebook page and in so many words, told the idiots to fix their stupid slow server. I guess Henry, the man that owns BlogAds, saw it and someone got their butt chewed for it. I suspect that might have been Marc. Therefore, in retaliation, I am tossed off the service.

Here is why this really does not matter at all. I can count on one hand, how many ads I have gotten with BlogAds, since I started using it again — when I switched sides politically. I only got five or maybe six paying ads on the side. When I was a left of center Blogger, I got exactly ZERO ads. As a “Right of Center” Blogger, I even was a part of a few hives, or Ad Groups. Those paid nothing as well. I mean, literally no ads came from the majority of them; except maybe the so-called “Conservative” hive. I got a few through there. I ended up leaving that hive, because of the actions of its owner. Of whom, I felt was a bit of an asshole towards David Frum. Other than this, I was not “rolling in the dough” as some might have assumed —- much quite the opposite — I never made much of anything with Blogads at all. All of those ads, that you might have seen in the sidebars, in the Blogads, ad sections, were free ads that I ran, either to promote stuff that I was selling on zazzle or as a favor to others who asked for the help.

Frankly, it is the opinion of this writer, that Blogads day has come and gone; Blogads came on the scene in 2002 and became big in 2004, during the election. However, much has changed since then. Google Adsense got smart and started doing graphical ads — not to mention the fact that their pricing structure is a bit saner for advertisers. In addition, there is this little thing. I believe in the time old business practice of “the Customer is always right,” no matter how abusive, nasty or whatever, the customer is always right. Frankly, if the staff over at Blogads cannot handle being yelled at, because of their subpar servers, then they should shut the company down and leave the advertising business.

Frankly, I am glad to be severed from that company and their joke of an advertising system, which benefits the bigger bloggers and leaves the smaller people like others and me on there in the cold. Therefore, I can honestly say, there was no big loss, at least not on my part.

In conclusion, I simply say to Blogads —- Goodbye and good luck. I wish you the best; however, I suspect that BlogAds will be going the way of other foolhardy ad businesses of the pre-economic bubble era — out of business, especially if they continue with this philosophy that the staff is always right.

Hey, Dave Poff, why don’t you just call President Obama the N-Word and get it over with?

I hate having to write about stupid crap like this; but sometimes it gets to be a bit much.

President Obama said this, while out stumping for Democrats:

He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, “we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.

For the record, Obama is, at least partially correct —- Republicans, when in power and in the majority during the Bush era; did get addicted to pork and spending — just like they did back in the 1990’s. However, it is fair to note that the Democrats did do the social engineering of the economy and the housing market. This caused the bubble and the eventual collapse of the housing market and the flash crash of 2008; which lead to the credit crisis and the bailouts and so forth.

Anyhow, this blockhead over Redstate, a Dave Poff writes this idiotic tripe:

In the new post-racial America, brought to us by Barack “don’t call me black or white, just call me American” Obama, we have been told our differences are behind us now…just because he exists and… just because he is black. Yet, day by day and speech by speech, this President has done more damage to race relations than any combination of Presidents since Lyndon Johnson…and he, at least, tried to make things better with a sincere heart.

Were anyone else to have been caught on tape making these sorts of remarks, they’d have already been fired and given a 2 million dollar job contract with the competition. Oh wait.

The lack of outrage should surprise no one here. We were told to vote for him… not because he was black but… because he brought with him hope and change and the promise of a color blind society. He has delivered on none of these, instead making race relations worse today than they were before he was elected. Since being sworn in we’ve been routinely told that any disagreements with his agenda HAD to be because he was… wait for it…

Black.

Some of us fall for that drivel, but most of us…and especially the folks pulling levers in voting booths all across America in a few days…know better. A great DEAL better.

Bridging the racial divide in this country will not come from highlighting our differences and throwing these in our faces so we can turn them against each other. And it will most certainly not come from throwing slurs at individual groups or races, or using *dated* ones to make jokes at the expense of others.

It will come from mutual respect and understanding, each of the other. This President has neither, and he is not qualified to lead any of us in the struggle to get there.

Yeah Dave, as your little acronym says, “Are you fucking kidding me?” Are you? Really? I mean, making comments like this; is not doing a damn bit of good for our side man. I dislike the President’s policies as much as the next person —- but basically backhandedly calling the President of the United States the N-Word — is just fucking wrong dude. This is the same fucking Redstate who called me a fucking Anti-Semite and blasted my personal information all over the net. (follow the links to the various postings please….) Something I have not forgotten about, and still might seek legal action against the owner of and the people that pony up the cash to keep that site afloat; which happens to be Townhall.com.

If we lose this damned election, we will have nothing or no one to blame, but our own damned selves. I mean, between this beat down of a Moveon.org person and this here; I think we might just be shooting ourselves in the foot. Not to mention what Sharon Angle is doing —- dissing Latinos? Seriously? What an idiot! 🙄

I mean, Dave Poff could have embedded this video here on RedState and basically done the same damned thing, and gotten better results. Yeah folks, it’s that damned stupid. 🙄

There goes Rand Paul’s chances of getting elected

First the Video:

The Story via Fox41.com:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) — Outside the Conway-Paul debate, a Rand Paul supporter pulled the woman’s blonde wig off and stomped on her head. She was representing the liberal organization MoveOn.org and claimed to be presenting Paul with an award from RepubliCorp. That’s a group created by MoveOn.org that focuses on what it calls the merger between corporate America and the Republican Party. “I’m here to present Rand Paul with the ‘Employee of the Month’ award, however his supporters were not very nice to me and my message which is same as everyone else. I got my head stepped on and I have a bit of a headache,” said Lauren Valle, MoveOn.org. The woman denied police were involved, but right afterwards officers pulled her aside to question her about the incident.

I am in agreement with John Hawkings on this one; I do not care who she is, or what she was doing —- stomping people’s noggins on the curb is not cool at all. I mean, I dislike liberals and progressives as much as the next Right Wing knucklehead; but this is totally unacceptable. These people have as much right to believe and the right to express the way they believe; no matter how ignorant and misinformed it might be. The is American, and curb stomping someone’s head, because you do not like what they are saying and might be doing — is on par with Nazi Germany! Just as unacceptable when Kenneth Gladney was roughed up by the SEIU guys. Both are wrong and both should be treated as a criminal event.

Let me go on the record as saying that this here, that this could be considered of political terrorism and should be treated as such and no I am not kidding.

Memorandum Roundup Here

Update: Hey AP, Truth hurts don’t it? Unlike you sir, I actually meant it. What happened there was wrong and it does remind me of Nazi Germany’s handling of political dissent.

Obviously, I am in the wrong business

The ABA Law Journal reports:

Well-known mommy blogger Lyss Stern agreed to write a puff piece for an advertising supplement for the New York Observer to pay off a nearly $45,000 dental bill, then reneged on the deal, contends a New York lawsuit filed by a dental firm.

Lowenberg & Lituchy DDS says in the suit that "Elyssa Stern, as editor in chief of the New York Observer magazine, agreed to publish a four-page article in the December 2009 issue of the magazine" that profiled its "achievements and advancements in the industry," reports the New York Daily News.

The piece was reportedly supposed to appear in the Observer’s "Playground" section, a special advertising supplement.

Stern, founder of the Divalysscious Moms social networking site, reportedly declined to comment on the suit for the New York Daily News.

Like Glenn said, who knew Mommy-Blogging could be such a profitable venture?  $45.000 for a puff piece? holy crap! Sign me up! Surprised smile I’ll puff the hell out of ‘em for that kind of scratch! Smile with tongue out

Also, $45.000 dental bill??!?!? Surprised smile Those must be some really, really, really, clean teeth! Open-mouthed smile

Honestly, Why does this moron continue this idiotic crap?

Just when I thought Sarah Palin was the biggest moron on the so-called “Right”, this idiot comes along and takes the damned cake.

The Video:

The Story:

This “Heckler”, who actually made it on to the stage, can only be described as Superhero-like, with snow white hair, lean physique, and a very tan complexion. The Heckler has been identified as none other than the candidate ”of the people”, the “ I need your vote, what should I say now” candidate, the “ what do the pollsters think I should do” candidate. The “Heckler” of whom I refer to was none other than Governor Charlie “The Chuckster” Crist.

Rubio was responding to Governor Crist’s politically expedient ‘flip-flops’ on the issues, when Governor Crist lost it and began a rant that was aimed to talk over Rubio, simply to try to muzzle Rubio from laying a smackdown on him by detailing the reasons for the Governor’s change in party affiliation and the notorious, well documented changes in his positions on the issues.

Rubio delivered the line of the campaign when he said that he had been heckled before from the audience, but never by one of his opponents on stage. Rubio called Crist a “heckler” several times during the exchange.

via “Heckler” Disrupts Florida U.S. Senate Debate | The Shark Tank.

Charlie Crist is a god-damned moron and an embarrassment to the Republican Party. Sometimes, I think this dude makes Palin look sane. The man lost the damned primary and now, he is running as an independent — what an idiot. When he loses, it will be only a good thing. 😡

Welcome to my world! – 60 Minutes Admits Unemployment is Actually 17%, 22% in California

Welcome to my World people! I have been out of work since 2005. I went to college to get a CDL A License, think that my would get easier; instead, it get much more complex.

JammieWearingFool Says:

I nearly fell out of my chair tonight when 60 Minutes admitted this. Yes, 60 Minutes.

You can bet the White House and their lackeys will be all over them tomorrow. This isn’t news the Democrats need America to hear nine days out of an election.

Video:

Now, I am not going to pull the liberal line and say that Bush was suppressing numbers. However, I do believe that actual number is bigger than many even know. Because some people just do not file for benefits at all. Also too, there are some people who were fired or quit and were never able to file for benefits, because they did not qualify.

Anyhow, welcome to the recession or as I call it — my world. 😀

Juan Williams hits back at his old employer

I watched this last night and man was Juan Williams angry. You could see it in his eyes. I could, at least.

Here’s Juan really giving it to his former employer:

Turns out, Juan is not only person angry. Check out these quotes, and be sure to follow the links with them.

One thing is for sure, this story is not going away anytime soon. NPR screwed up in a big way and they are going to pay the price —– big time.

This proves what I have known about this type of liberals, which are the “Saul Alinsky” type of liberals, of whom the “New Left” admired and the “Neo Left” studied and learned from; they believe in freedom of speech —- as long as it does not go around their orthodoxy. The minute you stray away from that orthodoxy, they use every Saul Alinsky tactic in the books.

The sad part is; there are some on right that use these same tactics towards those they disagree with, most likely towards those on the left. But sometimes, it is used against people on the right. I ought to know, it was used against me.

That is what separates me from the Neo-Conservative right; I do not believe in using those tactics — at all for any purpose at all. Because it makes us look no different than the left. Which is why I do not ID myself as a Republican or even a Right Winger. I like to think of myself as a Berry Goldwater or Pat Buchanan type. However, I do have disagreements with some of what the Paleo-Con right says or believes.

My feelings on the Iraq War Wikileaks dump

I have one thing to say about the dump by Wikileaks of documents related to the War in Iraq.

War —— is pure hell.

I did not agree with the decision to go into Iraq and I always knew —- always — that this stuff would eventually come out.

It does hurt our guys over there now; which is the goal of the rat bastard that is running the site. I loathe him with every fiber of my being.

However, I believe that this should a be lesson to those who are in places of influential power—- that they should think long and hard, the next time they try to persuade a President to go to war with a Country to further your own political agenda or foreign policy vision that you support.  Going to war to support a Country with zero standing with the United Nations and who was illegally recognized by a sitting President —- always has disastrous results. You would have thought that these idiots would have learned that lesson during the Vietnam era — but, as they say, old dogs never learn new tricks. 🙄

It is a sad thing, but it was bound to happen — sooner or later.

Juan Williams talks more about his firing from NPR

I know, I know…. At this point, even I am sick of writing about it. The man got fired, and got a nice deal from Fox. But he is not letting this one go; at least not right away. I cannot say that I blame him either. I mean, Liberals are supposed to be the tolerant ones and something like this happens —- it just kills that Meme totally.

Here he is with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos: (H/T HotAir.com)

Now before anyone says, “Oh, that is just his opinion!” Think again, looks like Mr. Williams is not only one feeling the way he does:

As an Arab-American of Muslim descent, I am not offended by this because in all honesty I have had the same reaction in similar circumstances. In Berlin a couple of years ago, my flight was delayed because, we were told, one of the passengers, who was in a wheelchair, needed extra assistance. When she finally was brought into the waiting area, she was covered from head to toe in traditional Muslim dress and only her eyes were visible. What happened? I grew nervous. I got on the plane just the same, but with trepidation.

Was my response rational? Yes and no.

It was not Muslims in traditional garb who hijacked those planes on 9/11, and it certainly was not Muslim women in veils and wheelchairs. If anything, an Islamist terrorist wants to blend in, not stand out.

However, it was not a traditional sort of terrorist attack I feared in this case, but perhaps something unexpected: a traditional Muslim woman in a veil, confined to a wheelchair, who was loaded with explosives.

That may make me guilty of an overactive imagination, but perhaps not. Not that many years later, a young Muslim on an international flight into Detroit tried to light explosives in his underwear.

I mention all this for one main reason. I grew up surrounded by Islamic culture, went to Islamic events, and was used to seeing women in traditional Muslim clothing, and yet when that woman appeared at the Berlin airport, I was scared.

That’s all Mr. Williams was saying. He didn’t say that they should be removed from the plane, treated differently, or anything close to that. He simply said he got nervous. And for that, he was fired.

The reality is that when Muslims cease to be the main perpetrators of terrorism in the world, such fears about traditional garb are bound to vanish. Until such time, the anxiety will remain. In the long run, it’s what we do with such fears that matters, not that we have them.

But regarding what happened to Mr. Williams, no one should tolerate such intolerant behavior on the part of NPR. This broadcast network is paid for by the American taxpayers, and as such we all have a stake in its decisions.

Anyone who cares about freedom of speech should protest what has been done to this decent and fair man. And even if that were not the case, even if Mr. Williams’ views made him a detestable ogre to most, he still has the right to voice them. For many Americans, NPR’s consistent tilt to the left has caused them to reject it as a viable source of news.

NPR often embodies the very things it claims to stand against: unfairness, narrow-mindedness and reactionary policies.

I ask all Americans of conscience, most particularly those of Arab and/or Muslim descent, to protest the firing of Juan Williams and to demand that public funding to NPR cease until Mr. Williams’s good name has been cleared and he has been rehired (if he still wants to work for this network).

We deserve better from a public radio network funded by taxpayer money.

I have no idea what that man’s politics is, or what party he votes for — but even I cannot argue with that.

UPDATED! — Unbelievable: Juan Williams FIRED from NPR, for speaking the truth Juan Williams responds!

MAJOR UPDATE! Juan Williams responds to the firing! CLICK HERE!

——–

This is unreal and must have broken after I went to bed. Juan Williams who is a contributor at Fox News, was fired from NPR and for what? This:

Video: (Update: Now with the FULL video clip, thanks to my friends over at HotAir.com)

Guess who stirred the pot? No other than Think Progress and the Huffington Post.

You should also click on the video and go read the comments over at the video site. It will make your stomach turn.

The Story via NYT:

NPR has terminated its contract with Juan Williams, one of its senior news analysts, after he made comments about Muslims on the Fox News Channel.

NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

So True....

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.

He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,” Mr. Williams said.

NPR said in its statement that the remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.”

The public radio organization said it thanked him for many years of service. Mr. Williams did not immediately respond on Wednesday night to an e-mail seeking comment.

Mr. Williams’s contributions on Fox raised eyebrows at NPR in the past. In February 2009, NPR said it had asked that he stop being identified on “The O’Reilly Factor” as a “senior correspondent for NPR,” even though that title was accurate.

Alicia C. Shepard, the NPR ombudswoman, said at the time that Mr. Williams was a “lightning rod” for the public radio organization in part because he “tends to speak one way on NPR and another on Fox.”

Ms. Shepard said she had received 378 listener e-mails in 2008 listing complaints and frustrations about Mr. Williams.

The real sick part is? We fund that intolerance; yes, with our hard earned tax dollars. That is the part that really cheeses me off, NPR is a Government funded enterprise. It is also bastion of liberalism and has been, for years. That needs to stop.

There is a big Memeorandum thread on this one; the reaction is pretty much huge in the Blogosphere. Also at Mediagazer.
