WHAT?!?!: NC Governor: “Hey let’s suspend the elections for a while!”

Oh Sweet Jesus on a t-model Ford already! I thought Rep. Sheila Jackson was a little off in the head!

Turns out North Carolina’s Government makes her look rather smart!

As a way to solve the national debt crisis, North Carolina Democratic Gov. Beverly Perdue recommends suspending Congressional elections for the next couple of years.

“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” Perdue said at a rotary club event in Cary, North Carolina, according to the Raleigh News and Observer. “I really hope that someone can agree with me on that.”

Perdue said she thinks that temporarily halting elections would allow members of Congress to focus on the economy. “You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixing things,” Perdue said.

Of course, the Republicans of NC were not to0 keen on the idea…:

North Carolina Republicans immediately scoffed at Perdue’s proposal, pointing out to her that elections hold politicians accountable for their actions. “Now is a time when politicians need to be held accountable more than ever,” North Carolina GOP spokesman Rob Lockwood said in an email to The Daily Caller. “To suspend an election would be removing the surest mechanism that citizens have to hold politicians accountable: The right to vote.”

But that is what the hardcore Communists Progressives want; to get rid of the Election process, so that they can keep a Communist Progressive in the White House. This way they can fulfill their Communist dream of total Governmental Control and of the elimation of Conservative thought and action. It is their real goal. In fact, I have gotten e-mails that say that very thing. So, it is not just paranoid talk from a Right-Wing Blogger, in this case, it is the truth.

ORIGINAL POST, April 15, 5 P.M.: Orange County might be a beautiful oceanfront locale, but it’s also home to Holocaust deniers, vicious anti-gay bigots and freakish big-haired televangelists.

Here, one of our Republican politicians welcomed the inauguration of the first African American U.S. president in early 2009 by sending out an email that depicted a watermelon field in front of the White House.

That incident drew embarrassing international attention, but now another Orange County Republican has apparently topped the watermelon imagery with another racist attack on President Barack Obama.

The Weekly has obtained a copy of an email sent to fellow conservatives this week by Marilyn Davenport, a Southern California Tea Party activist and member of the central committee of the Orange County Republican Party.

Under the words, “Now you know why no birth certificate,” there’s an Obama family portrait showing them as apes.

(Donald Trump must be elated to finally have an explanation about Obama’s true birth circumstances.)

No ma’am, you are wrong. It IS racism! Comparing a black man to a chimp, is classic racial stereotyping and it is damned wrong. The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln and this sort of stupidity should NOT be tolerated; and if this vermin of a woman does not resign, she should be removed by the Republican leadership themselves. Of course, the liberal media and bloggers are upset, as they should rightly be. There is no place for this sort of nonsense in Conservative or Republican politics. Anyone says there is, is not; in my humble opinion, a true Conservative.

So, again, to this racist vermin bitch; GET THE HELL OUT OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!

This blog is simply a man, who politics is “right of center,” who happens to believe that the far socialist left is wrong on a number of things. It has never been, nor will it ever be about racism. I admittedly, have issues with the fact that the Democratic Party choose Barack Obama — because of his skin color, which they did. However, I do NOT ever, nor will I ever post any sort of racist imagery on this blog, ever! Oh, believe you me; I get emails all the time, “Hey this might be funny on your blog” and it is some racist tripe crap, that I would never, in a million years publish here. Hell, I have unfriended people on Facebook for this very thing. Hey, I make zero apologies for how I feel about the far socialist left. I would like to think that not all Democrats are like this; but I am really beginning to wonder. That my friends is the long and short of it around here. If you are some Israel-hating, Jew Hating, Klansman; you have zero business being around here. I do not hate Jewish people at all. I simply want Republicans and Conservatives alike, to think about the consequences of their actions. It is not unreasonable to ask that people do that. It is, however, very unreasonable to accuse Israel of terrorism. I have no reason to believe that the U.S.S. Liberty was nothing more than a tragic accident. I also happen to know, that the Government of Israel paid the families of those killed and the survivors of the U.S.S. Liberty attack, a large sum of money for their mistake. — A fact often omitted by the hate crowd.  In fact, the site that this buffoon refers to, is not a hate site at all, but rather a memorial site to the fallen. Sorry gang, but the conspiracy theory idiotic nonsense just does not interest me, at all. Further more, I question the motivations of those, who dispute the official story about the U.S.S. Liberty.

Update: I figure before anyone nails me on this; I will say it. At one time, I did question the official story of the U.S.S. Liberty. That is until I finally read that the Israeli Government paid those that were hurt or killed in the Accident a good sum of money. My reasoning is this; if Israel hit that ship on purpose. Then why the heck would they pay the people for their mistake? You see, that would not make any sense. As do not most of the idiots who claim that the U.S.S. Liberty attack was not an accident.

The chairman of the Delaware Republican Party received a death threat last week over his support for Rep. Mike Castle (R-Del) over Tea Party challenger Christine O’Donnell in the state’s upcoming Senate primary, a party official confirmed to the Huffington Post.

The threat, issued in the form of an email, told chairman Tom Ross that he deserves “a bullet in the head” for backing “political ass-kissing RINO’s” [Republicans in name only].

“It is one thing to have your country screwed over by socialists, it is far worse to be backstabbed by people pretending to be your friends,” the email read. “We will either rid the GOP of pieces of shit like you, or we will start a new ‘Common Sense Conservative’ party and render you all useless.”

The threat was serious enough to compel Ross to leave his home, temporarily, and to spur an investigation from the Department of Justice said the official with the Delaware GOP (a DoJ official did not immediately return a request for comment). It also was sinister enough to alarm state party officials who are unaccustomed to not just threats of violence but even to heated political contests like the one unfolding in the state’s Republican primary.

“It is just scary what is going on right now,” the official said. “Tom is a loyal and dedicated Republican officer in Delaware… the position is unpaid and his job as party chairman is to defend and promote the candidates… It is disgusting, it is amazing and it has no place in our democracy.”

The identity of the emailer was not immediately known, though the official said that the person “wrote his name and address” on the note — providing obvious information for authorities to use.

I am calling Andrew Sullivan crazy, because that is what he is…. damned crazy.The man calls himself a so-called “Conservative” all the while trashing a woman who is a Conservative Christian. This was not just one posting, but a entire books worth of pure crap. The man is crazy, and anyone who is worth their salt in Conservatism knows it. He is not a Conservative; but rather a Liberal posing as a Conservative. Some say he is a British Conservative; But I think it’s more of a mental problem than anything else.

Also, Hypocrisy? Hypocrisy??!?!?!? How’s this for Hypocrisy? — All during the election, the media went over Sarah Palin, her kids, her family; everything… with a fine tooth comb. But no ONE person in the lame stream media would dare say a cross word about President Barack Obama’s snooty-nosed brat kids, at all. Hell, even Chelsea Clinton was giving rougher treatment by the media, than President Obama’s kids! That is what I call hypocrisy!

So, don’t come here and leave stupid comments about me being a damned hypocrite, because I will just delete them. Yes, I know. Andrew Sullivan is a bit more liberal than most Conservatives here in America. Yes, I know that most people here in America, that call themselves Conservative, utterly despise the man. Yes, I know most of my blogging friends; if I still have any, hate the ground that this man walks on. But, damn it, when he is right, he is right.

  • On the issue of the unfiltered New Media; I highly disagree with Sully’s conclusion. This is why I have strict moderation in place on this Blog. I also have a set of rules in place. You violate my rules; you do not comment here; Period. This also why I always keep moderation enabled here. I review every comment, if something does not pass muster, it is deleted. I wish I had a dollar for every time some moron pass through here and made a stupid comment about blacks, Jews and even liberals. Sometimes, I will post the stupid stuff, with the IP address, e-mail address and real name showing; just to show everyone how dumb this person is. But there are some that are so vile and nasty that I will not publish them. Those are the one that are why I have moderation enabled. I just will not give a open platform to hate, period.
