I cannot claim to have completely read “Going Rogue” — I had to skim the last 150 pages (or more than one-third). I only got the thing into my hands late Monday afternoon with a deadline of early evening. It’s terrible, I know, but if I didn’t read it all, neither can Sarah Palin claim to have completely written it.

One of the few surprises of the book: For a frontierswoman, Palin really doesn’t like smokers — especially if they’re men working for John McCain. She describes the “jaded” “professional political caste” of the McCain campaign as “tumbling out of the bus in a pack, lighting cigarettes as they went so it looked like a walking cloud of smoke with legs,” and, later, she gets a nasty jab in at senior adviser Steve Schmidt, who, she says, “used nicotine to keep . . . his cognitive connections humming along.”

Her critique of the campaign’s strategy is about as sophisticated as her discussion of policy, and just as circumscribed by her own experience. When she was pregnant with daughter Piper, she says, she pondered anti-smoking laws when confronted by cigarette smoke in a restaurant: “Instead of supporting [a ban] . . . I just stopped going to the restaurant. It eventually went smoke-free on its own, which is the way things like that should work.”

A pregnant waitress unprotected by a smoking ban might feel differently, as might, say, a vice presidential candidate, were she surrounded by chain smokers in her place of work.

Translation? I did not read the book; so, I stuck together a rather snarky book review, while giving my husband a head job…. or something. I mean, I would expect this out of a blogger, like myself. But this stupid bitch gets paid MONEY to write lame ass articles like this! Unbelievable! Meanwhile, I sit here and can’t get a job anywhere. Something is terribly wrong with the world.

What really steams me about this; is the fact that this woman is only famous, because she got fired from a job; because of her unprofessional behavior and went on to start a D.C. gossip blog, that she sold, and made like a shitload of money on….and she writes shit like this and passes it off as professional writing. Good Grief. šŸ™„

Don’t get me wrong; I am not a Sarah Palin fan boy. In fact, I did not even vote for John McCain —- mainly because of Sarah Palin, and because of John McCain’s stupidity. But this is just fucking unacceptable. I’m sorry; you don’t even read a book and then write a stupid ass liberal snipe, disguised a fucking book review?!?! Seriously??!?!

It is no damned wonder that the Washington Post is possibly getting a “Bail Out” from the Government. Because who in their right mind — or otherwise, would even read anything like this and take anything away from it of substance?

Islamic Militants discover new foe, bears!

A-Bear-RoaringTwo other militants escaped, one of them badly wounded, after the attack in Kulgam district, south of Srinagar.

The militants were armed with AK-46s but were taken by surprise – police found the remains of pudding they had made to eat when the bear attacked.

It is thought to be the first such incident since Muslim separatists took up arms against Indian rule in 1989.

The dead have been identified as Mohammad Amin alias Qaiser, and Bashir Ahmed alias Saifullah.

“Word spread in the village that Qaiser had been killed by the bear,” another police officer said.

A joint party of the police and army personnel went into the forest and collected the bodies of the two militants.

Police say they also recovered two AK-46 rifles and some ammunition from the hideout.

A Necessary Clarification

As I have written on my blog a good number of times, my blog is not at all about me.Ā  My Blog is, however, about my take on the current political events of the day.Ā  As it is written in my ā€œAbout Meā€ section on my Blog, that I am a formerĀ  so-called ā€œReagan Democrat,ā€ or a ā€œBlue Dog Democratā€ or more simply, a ā€œleft of centerā€ type person.Ā  However, during my tenure of being a Blogger and Political writer and seeing how I watched how this past election went down; my political philosophy changed.Ā  This is still allowed last time I checked.Ā  I just felt that the Democratic Party had succumbed to the teachings of identity politics, not to mention all the socialism that is poisoned that party beyond repair.Ā  For Clarityā€™s sake, I essentially came to the same conclusions that Former President Ronald Reagan came to long ago, albeit much later in my life. Ā Thus, one could call me a Conservative.Ā  Although, I will be the first to tell you, I am just not quite ready to don my elephant button and become a sworn Republican just yet. Ā For what it is worth; I tend to lean more libertarian on social issues; however when it comes to defense and foreign policy I am quite the ā€œNeo-Conā€ as those who are isolationist or Anti-Semitic would call me.

Having said all of this, I feel the need to make something very clear.Ā  For those of you who read this blog on a daily basis or happen to stop from a reference link or what have you, you know that I am someone who is keenly aware that the War on Terror is a very real issue.Ā  I am also aware of the fact that the Islamic-Fascists want to impose a strict form of Islamic law in this Country. Ā Having said all that, I feel the need to make a clarification on where I stand on this issue.Ā  The Anti-Islamic-Fascism crowd is divided into two camps —– The first, is quite a noble and intelligent crowd, who know that the Religion of Islam has been hijacked by a group of bloodthirsty killers, who hate America and our way of life; and want to see this Nation destroyed. Ā The second crowd is such that I hate to even waste my time even writing about them.Ā  The second crowd area group of people, who personal intellect is that of a primate; they are those who believe that all of those, who practice the religion of Islam and those who are of middle eastern descent , are, in fact, those who want to engage in acts of terrorism.

Let me be clear; I stand with the first noble crowd and not with the second crowd.Ā  The second crowd is nothing more than racist bigots, who employ the tactics of the far left in this Country and engage in the practice of collectivism; or as it is commonly known as ā€œGuilt by Association.ā€Ā  This is the same sort of tactic, which was used by the racist bigot Democrats in the south back in the days before the Civil rights act of 1964. Their reasoning was that the entire Negro race was evil and that it must be contained.Ā  This was, and still is a flawed mindset.Ā  What saddens me greatly is that there are those, who refer to themselves as conservatives that cling to this idiotic mindset.Ā  Peradventure that I should say that, these people are no more ā€œConservativeā€ than I am a damned sworn Marxist.

The reason why I am even writing about this is that I happen to be a user of the social network Twitter, which is quite the marvel of the twenty first century. For those who happen to follow my ā€œtweetsā€ as they are called; know that last night and early this morning, I was engaged in a ā€œTit for tatā€ with a group of so-called Conservatives whom, I felt, were engaged in this sort of idiotic mindset.Ā  In subsequent conversation with the lot of them, I discovered that I perhaps was a bit early in my judgment of them.Ā  For this a greatly apologize.Ā  Although, I did block one of them, as she did hurl an undeserved salvo at me and call me a ā€œLiberal.ā€Ā  In some respects, I might just be a liberal, albeit a ā€œClassic Liberalā€—- the different there is as wide and deep as the span and depth of the Grand Canyon.Ā  I say this because I feel that Religionā€™s involvement in the Government is quite wrong, however, I do believe that the Governmentā€™s involvement is private industry is quite wrong also, not to mention it goes against the strain of what this Nationā€™s principles were founded upon.

I will end this rather long rambling piece with a dire warning to those who follow me on Twitter.Ā  If you follow me and I follow you; and you happen to post something on twitter that I happen to think is racist or bigoted, I will call you on it.Ā  I make no apologies for my feelings on this subject.Ā  Just to be clear; there is nothing at all wrong with being concerned with the Islamic-Fascism movement, and being one who stands up against the terrorists who want to destroy our country.Ā  However, we must not allow ourselves to be overcome with feelings of hate towards the race of people or toward those who practice a form of religion that was simply hijacked by those who are on a political mission to destroy our Country.Ā  If we do this, we are no better than those, who wish to destroy us.

I guess that you can consider this my “It’s on, Motherfucker!” Posting. I have sat back on the god-damned sidelines long enough. I have watched as Charles Foster Johnson has continued to slime a fellow Georgia Brother, A fellow Conservative, and a fellow brother in Jesus Christ. I am referring to none other Robert Stacy McCain.

I guess you could say; that I have just fucking flat out had it “Up to here!” with the fucking bullshit accusations against us on the right, that are against the fucking bullshit communist foreign policies of the Obama Administration, as being racist. I guess you could say that I am just fucking flat tired of the fucking collectivist bullshit tripe, that flows out of the mouth of those who want blame every last god damned fucking person under the planet, that has Conservative leanings; for the actions of a few idiots who want to try and discredit this movement of humanity against this administration.

I had some anti-LGF ads up here, that I ran for free. I removed them; because I had some questions that I really felt had not been answered good enough for my liking. Well, they were answered and it seems that Charles Foster Johnson is in full on smear mode. Well, I’ve fucking had just about god damn enough of it. šŸ˜”

It just so happens that we Conservatives were basically Anti-Slavery, and Anti-Racist for many years. Hell, Abraham Lincoln fought the civil war over the issue. However, the side that is not told about it is this; The Confederation Army did NOT go to war with the union over this; it was over CENTRALIZED Government! The Confederates knew that if the Union instituted a centralized Government, that freedoms would be lost and they decided to go to war.Ā  What is also not told, is that fact that Lincoln’s army basically committed what would be known today as acts of terrorism. That is what this song here is all about. Abraham Lincoln knew god-damned well, that he could not win the war against the south by fighting a war, by the rule book. So, he fought it dirty and won. Some people say this is a fallacy, but I call bullshit; I have read the writings of the confederates and believe me, it was a nasty war, fought by fucking cowards who could not win any other way.

….and then there’s the issue of the Negros……

After the war was fought and won; Slavery was abolished. A good thing, I might add. Holding people against their will and using them for labor and profit, is not only stupid, it is ungodly as hell. For this one thing; I will give Abe Lincoln credit for. But everything he did to the South was just fucking rotten and I still consider the fucking bastard a god damned traitor. The truth is; Lincoln was forced into the position, because of political issues, NOT because he wanted to:

So, Abraham Lincoln; putting his personal feelings aside, pushed for and got; the outlawing of slavery in the south. Not long after that, the group known as a the “Radical Republicans” fought for and got a commission in the south to restore the South’s economy. Later, this was stopped by the Democrats of the day and as a result, many blacks and poor whites in the south ended up being sharecroppers. Still, the Slaves were freed.

But they still were not satisfied.

After slavery, some white men in the south were not too keen on the idea of black men roaming freely around in their towns; decided that the two races should be separated. Because they felt that the Negro man was not exactly known his civility. Now honestly — I do not agree with this; and I believe that it was a flawed mentality. However, I believe that it was the personal right of those, who chose to do this, to do it.Ā  Senator Barry Goldwater agreed with me; and refused to sign that unconstitutional so called “Civil Rights Act” of 1964.

The Negros fought and won against the Southern racist Democrats; however, they did trample on Constitutional rights to do so. But the fact is; they won. None of them are in chains, and they can now roam free as they wish, they cannot be arrested for eating in a “White” restaurant anymore. Those days are over and yet, some of them act like it is still 1945.

…and now, Today.

It can be said with the most confidence; that the age of “Jim Crow” and that of the mentality of the Klansman is officially dead. Oh, sure; there are those who are of the depraved, unenlightened mindset that still believe that the Negro man is not of the same elevated mindset of the white race. But those people have been long marginalized and largely discredited. America has elected aĀ  half Negro President; I refuse to call him “African-American”, either your American or African, make up your god damned mind! I say half Negro, because many forget, President Obama is half a White man too.

Yet today, you have the people of the very same party, that fought to keep the Negro race in chains; the very same party that fought to keep the negro race segregated; accusing the very people who agree with the political ideology, that freed the slaves in the first place — of being racist! —- and this after an Black President has been elected! President Obama is a a Democrat, he is a socialist! Therefore he is prone to critique by those of us, who disagree with the ideology of the Democratic Party!

What really ticks me off, is the collectivist mindset among these Socialist Democrats, who seek to blame the entire Conservative movement; for the actions of a few protesters. This is just absolutely asinine and smacks of that collectivist mindset, that the Socialist Liberal Democrats are known for; herding the cattle onto the plantation.

So, in solidarity of my Southern Brother Robert Stacy McCain, I present this song. May the spirit of the Southern Conservative never die and may we always be known as those who stood and fought against those who would try and destroy our Country.

Two Movies on Liberty

First up is The Most Incredible Challenge from 1965.

Synopsis: This film, narrated by Luis Van Rooten and directed by Robert Braverman, was produced by the Radio Liberty (RL) Committee, the parent organization of Radio Liberty, to publicize RL in the United States. The film features RLs production center in Munich, its news-gathering operations around the world, and its transmitter facilities in Germany, Spain, and Taiwan.

For the Licensed Amateur Radio operators that happen to read this blog; who also happen to be fans of old “Boat Anchors” as they are called, see if you spot the old Rockwell-Collins and other such gear in this piece. The place to see it really good, is at the 18:14 mark. Some really nice gear there from Amateur Radio’s greatest era. šŸ˜€

The Second is “This Is Radio Free Europe” from 1964:

Folks, I simply offer these videos with this question: Were these station employees, the political bloggers of that era? Are we now the voices of liberty? I like to think that we are the newspaper writers; the ones encouraging the dissent and the debate. Is Russia of old, just a future picture of America? Being in this position of the minority; we must get our collective act together. We need to, as Bloggers and Conservatives, try to stay away from the stupid and the petty. We need to distinguish ourselves from the Alex Jones Conspiracy theory crowd and stick to the mainstream news and offer a counter-view to the main stream media’s view.

Waiting for the breakneck coverage from the Liberal Media on this. I will not hold my breath; least I turn blue and die.

State police at the Corunna post have confirmed a well-known anti-abortion activist was shot multiple times and killed this morning in front of Owosso High School.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released but the shooting occurred around 7:30 a.m., after most students were off the buses and safely inside the building, said Owosso schools transportation supervisor Jayne Campbell.

State police also confirmed that a suspect was taken into custody about 8:15 a.m. at the suspect’s home.

Owosso High School secretary Wendy Smith said the students remain in lockdown this morning and confirmed that no students were involved and all are safe with classes going on as normal. The shooting did not occur on school property, Smith said.

Meanwhile, police have completely ringed with police tape a section of North Street in front of the school.

A black car can be seen parked at the corner of North and Whitehaven streets, where a portable oxygen tank is lying in a front yard next to a large sign bearing the image of a baby and the word “Life.”

For what it is worth; the man was 63 years old. I am glad that the suspect was caught; also there was another murder, that took place that was carried about by the same suspect. I believe it would be a bit premature to speculate whether the murder was related to his advocacy or not. So, I will speculate on this. But I will say that, if this had been an abortion doctor; it would have been front page news. I am even suprised that Fox News is not even covering it. They are too busy playing 9/11 footage over and over and over.

A 33-year-old Michigan man has been charged with murder in the shootings this morning of an anti-abortion protester outside a high school and the owner of a gravel company found dead in his office.

Harlan Drake of Owosso, near Lansing, was arraigned on two counts of first-degree murder and other gun-related crimes. Prosecutors said Drake also had planned to kill a third, unidentified person.

Longtime anti-abortion activist James Pouillon, 63, was shot multiple times from a passing car about 7:20 a.m. ET. He was protesting across the street from Owosso High School as students were arriving for classes. Witnesses, including students, provided the gunman’s license plate.

About the same time Mike Fuoss, 61, was found dead in his office at Fuoss Gravel in Owosso Township.

Drake was arrested at home about an hour later. Police said he stated he had also shot Fuoss.

“The indication is that he had ill will … a grudge against these three individuals,” said Shiawassee County Prosecutor Randy Colbry. “The defendant was offended by the manner of Mr. Pouillon’s message.”

Still waiting for that Statement from Obama condemning this murder. Still waiting for the outrage amongst the Liberals and the wall to wall coverage of the Liberal MSM. I won’t hold my breath; least I turn blue and die. šŸ˜”

At one point, I had written that I was not going to publish this man’s videos anymore; and I do not make a habit of it. His comment about our Military over on The American Conservative‘s Blog called “Post Right” was the end for me.

I posted this, because I happen to agree with Jack’s stance on progressive policy on economics. But because I am “Fair and Balanced”, I will tell you, what others will not about the “Paleo-Conservative” or the “Taft” wing of the Republican Party as it is called by some. If it were left to these guys; such as Jack Hunter and his two hero-like personalities like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul —- America would have never went to war with Germany, at all. Hitler would have allowed to exterminate the Jews. Something that I am told Pat Buchanan has said that he wished happened, when he was around some friends once; which goes back to the old school catholic hatred of the Jews and their religion. Further more, most people of the Paleo-Conservative strand believe that Abraham Lincoln was a traitor. Not only to the White Man; but also to the South for the way he conducted the Civil War. Which Jack claims was not about race. (Wink Wink) But rather about Centralized Government.

So, while Jack might be correct about his thesis on the economic policy; his association with the bigoted “Old Right” is to be noted and for this, I feel, his credentials are marred.

George Washington, the Father of our Country, required all Officers and Soldiers, not engaged on actual duty, a punctual attendance of Divine Services, to implore the blessings of Heaven upon the means used for our safety and defense. ā€œThe General hopes and trusts, that every officer and man, will endeavor so to live, and act, as becomes a ā€œCHRISTIANā€ Soldier, defending the dearest Rights and Liberties of his country.ā€

John Adams stated in his March 4, l797 Inaugural Address: ā€œWith humble reverence, I feel it to be my duty to add, if a veneration for the religion of a people who profess and call themselves ā€œCHRISTIANSā€ among the best recommendations for the public service.ā€ He also said: ā€œThe Declaration of Independence ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.ā€ The primary author of this Document mentioned Godā€™s name four times within the Declaration.

On January 21, 1810, John Adams said: ā€œThe ā€œCHRISTIANā€ Religion, as I understand it, is the brightest of the glory and the express portrait of the eternal, self-evident, independent, benevolent, all-powerful and all merciful Creator.ā€

It is often stated that Thomas Jefferson was a Deists, however on April 21, 1803 he wrote the following: ā€œMy views are the result of a life of inquiry and reflection, and very different from the ANTI-CHRISTIAN system imputed to me by those who know nothing of my opinion. To the corruptions of Christianity, I am indeed opposed, but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus Himself, I am a ā€œCHRISTIANā€ in the only sense in which He wished any one to be – sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others.ā€ Jefferson, along with the majority of Americaā€™s founders knew that freedom was the gift of God, not the accomplishment of men.

James Madison (our 4th President) called for a National Day of Prayer: ā€œIf the public homage of a people can ever be worthy of the favorable regard of the Holy and Omniscient Being to whom it is addressed, it must be guided only by their free choice. By the impulse of their hearts and the dictates of their consciences; and such a spectacle must be interesting to all ā€œCHRISTIANā€ nations as proving that religion, that gift from Heaven for the good of manā€¦ā€

John Quincy Adams wrote in his diary in 1810: ā€œI have made it a practice for several years to read the Bible through in a course of every year.ā€ December 24, 1814 after negotiating the TREATY OF GHENT he stated: ā€œYou ask me what Bible? The New Testament I have repeatedly read in the original Greek, in the Latin, in the Geneva Protestant, in Sacyā€™s Catholic French, in Luthurā€™s German, in the common English Protestant and in Douay Catholic translations. I take any one of them for my standard of faith. My hopes of a future life are all founded upon the Gospel of ā€œCHRIST.ā€

Andrew Jackson wrote his wife Rachel: ā€œI trust that the God of Isaac and of Jacob will protect you and give you health in my absenceā€¦ā€ Jackson apparently knew that there were some people that worshipped foreign gods, and wanted to make the point he worshipped the God of the Holy Bible. In referring to God, our early politicians used other descriptive terms, such as: ā€œThe unerring hand of Providenceā€ ā€“ ā€œAll-merciful Creatorā€ ā€“ ā€œSupreme Author of All Goodā€ ā€“ ā€œSupreme Ruler of the Universeā€.

Apparently President Barack Obama has not studied American History, because he recently said while in Turkey: ā€œWe do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.ā€ ā€œWe consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.ā€ Whether Obama understands the early writings of those great men who founded this nation, or not, perhaps he is correct, because America has become a ā€œpostā€ Christian nation. Once was ā€“ not now! Liberalism and political correctness have successfully dismantled our Christian heritage. Our moral and spiritual foundation is practically gone. America no longer acknowledges the one true God of the Bible, the God of Isaac and Jacob.

Students at Bradley University found an anti-abortion display featuring a cross to be offensive to non-Christians, and it was removed. — Small towns around the nation that once said prayers in the name of Jesus before holding city council meetings have abandoned the practice. — A flyer promoting a YMCA basket ball camp in Bakersfield, California was not allowed to be distributed in public schools because the text mentioned Christian principles. — The owners of an A & W Root Beer restaurant in Colorado were ordered to remove the Bible Scriptures from the sign in front of the store because the phrases offended some of the customers. — Schools all across the land are changing to an all secular holiday calendar. — The Christmas holiday has now been changed to ā€œWinter Break.ā€ — A man on death row for murder and rape wants his conviction thrown out because some of the jurors cited Bible verses during their deliberation. — The City Attorney in Sparks, Nevada took the words ā€œGod Bless Americaā€ out of the signs around city hall. — Three plaques quoting Biblical Scriptures posted at lookout points at the Grand Canyon have been removed, following complaints from the ACLU. — The National Park Service was forced to put a tarp over the 70 year old land mark cross at the Mojave Desert. — A Bible enclosed in glass that sat in front of the Harris County Court House in Houston, Texas for 47 years was removed because it was offensive. — Staffers of the Governor of Michigan removed the phrase ā€œof the year of our Lordā€ because it was deemed insensitive to non-Christians. — A district court judge in North Carolina said religious references including the oath that ends ā€œSO HELP ME GODā€ must be removed because not all court cases are for Christians. — Officials in Stanislaus County, California removed a 40 year old memorial because the monument included a cross that might infringe on rules of the ā€œSeparation of Church and State.ā€ If you read the Constitution from cover to cover you will find no mention of the ā€œSeparation of Church and State.ā€ Those remarks were in a letter written by President Thomas Jefferson, responding to a letter sent him by a Baptist Association concerned that the Government was going to interfere with the free and open practice of the Christian religion. Jefferson wrote the letter to assure them that would not happen ā€“ that the government cannot do such a thing. Today that phrase is being interpreted to mean the exact opposite of its original intent.

Today our Universities, Hollywood, liberal politicians and homosexuals in the nationā€™s Capital are hostile to the Holy Bible. The Book cannot appear on a desk in a government office, nor can it be studied in our nationā€™s public schools. Every effort is being made to eradicate any public reference to the Bible, or the name of Jesus. To even mention the name of Jesus or quote Biblical scriptures in public is considered insensitive. This conspiracy is being promoted under the lie that it was the original intent of the founding fathers and the framers of the Constitution.

God once blessed America ā€“ from itā€™s founding for over 150 years. Since the early 1960ā€™s God, Jesus and the Holy Bible have been kicked out of our government, our courts and our schools. When public school children can no longer sing God Bless America, how can God bless America?

Is there a possibility that God has already begun to withdraw His protection from the United States? God tells us in Deuteronomy 28:45, that curses shall come upon us until we are destroyed, because we did not hearken unto His voice and keep His statutes which he commanded. He tells us in very uncertain terms how we as a nation will be overcome. (1) The stranger shall rise above us and we shall come down very low. The stranger shall lend to us and we will not lend to the stranger. The stranger shall be the head and we shall be the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:43-44) (2) The Lord shall bring a nation against us from far; a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young, which also shall leave us no corn, wine or oil. (Deuteronomy 28:49-51) (3) If you shall despise my statutes and abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, I will appoint TERROR over you, and your enemies that hate you shall reign over you. (Leviticus 26:11) (4) I shall break the pride of your power and your strength shall be spent in vain. (Leviticus 26:19-20)

As our nationā€™s sins have become many, so are Godā€™s judgments many. These are just a few that I can see taking place as each day goes by. These judgments didnā€™t start coming upon us prior to the Supreme Courtā€™s deciding that the God of Isaac and Jacob was no longer welcome in America. Will God reconsider and return to us our once free nation? YES! But only if we totally submit ourselves to Him, impeach the Supreme Court judges that voted Him out of our lives, rescind their decisions and put the Bible back in our schools, courts and lives of our politicians, administrators, judges, teachers and the general public. I donā€™t believe it is going to happen!

I turned to look over my shoulder to see who had uttered that ridiculous statement.

ā€œPardon Me?ā€ I squinted at the dark-skinned man who had just interjected himself into my over-coffee conversation with my buddy, Kevin.

ā€œObama ainā€™t black.ā€ He said again more matter-of-factly as he walked around the porcelain dividing wall and stood at our table where he could be more active in our conversation.

ā€œMy nameā€™s Andree,ā€ he said as he extended his hand. ā€œI couldnā€™t help but hear what you boys had been discussinā€™ and I donā€™t mean to stick my nose in where it donā€™t belong, but I couldnā€™t leave without settinā€™ you straight. Obama ainā€™t black.ā€

I looked at Kevin as he shifted nervously in his seat, not sure how to take this visitor to our table.

I will simply say the following, that it is pretty telling when Obama is doing better in White America, out in places where blacks are in rare supply, than he is in the more urban communities.

Now this, I don’t get at all…

Republicans were not alone in that response. Michael E. O’Hanlon, a Democratic defense analyst at the Brookings Institution who has been an outspoken supporter of the war in Iraq, said he could not believe that Obama would put such a definitive timeline into print before a trip to Iraq, where he is to consult with Iraqi leaders and U.S. commanders.

“To say you’re going to get out on a certain schedule — regardless of what the Iraqis do, regardless of what our enemies do, regardless of what is happening on the ground — is the height of absurdity,” said O’Hanlon, who described himself as “livid.” “I’m not going to go to the next level of invective and say he shouldn’t be president. I’ll leave that to someone else.”

The reason I don’t get it is, because what Obama wrote in that Op-Ed piece was basically his primary stump speech with some very minor refinements to it. So, why anyone on the Democrat side would be “Livid” about it, as they this guy put it, is well beyond me. In other words, Obama did not say anything different, than he did in the primary, he just updated it to reflect current events.

Now his point about Obama going to Iraq, I can see that point. But for him to become upset about what was written, I don’t get that, at all.
