He’s either awfully ill informed or awfully glib about the severity of the threat. Two: Laying aside his bizarre shrugging at nuclear proliferation among jihadist states, in which dimension of reality did he discover that Iran is reliably, conclusively, indubitably “self-preservationist”? That is coming from someone, that was, not somewhere in Mid-America when the twin towers were hit; but like within a mile of the towers, when the planes went in. Many people do not get AllahPundit. I do, and this posting here, will help you understand him as well. I remember being scared out of my mind, when I got the news, that there was a plane on the way to the White House, that plane was flight 93. I could never even begin to imagine the horror of it being in my own town. Closest thing is the failed Detroit terrorist attack. Free Speech Attack: Grand Rapids TV Station pulls American Family Association’s Program on Radical Gay Agenda

This is disgraceful and a bit local to me here. This comes via the Detroit Free Press:

WOOD-TV 8 has decided not to air a controversial, one-hour paid program sponsored by the American Family Association due to criticism from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

“Speechless: Silencing Christians” targets the “radical homosexual agenda” and has garnered enough criticism to cause the Grand Rapids television station to pull the program.

After proposing that the program be moved from the Monday slot prior to President Barack Obama’s 8 p.m. news conference to a Saturday afternoon spot, the station made the decision to pull the program altogether.

“We made a gesture of the 2-3 p.m. Saturday time period. It’s been 24 hours and we had no response,” station General Manager Diane Kniowski told the Grand Rapids Press in a statement Wednesday.

“Our station is being bombarded with calls and messages, and we find ourselves in the middle of someone else’s fight. Ours was a fair offer and we are removing ourselves from this matter,” Kniowski said.

According to the Grand Rapids Press, “In a letter promoting the program, the American Family Association asserts that most Americans get their ‘information about the homosexual movement from the secular news media and Hollywood, which not only support but promote the gay agenda. What people know is tainted by pro-homosexual propaganda.'”

The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBT civil rights organization, initiated a national action alert in response, urging people to call the television station and ask that the program be canceled.

“At a time when America is striving to come together, the AFA continues to use LGBT Americans as a wedge issue to divide us from reaching our basic equality,” said HRC President Joe Solmonese.

This is just another attack on the freedoms that Americans enjoy; freedom of speech, and for that matter, who says that gay people should be equal? I don’t care what they do behind closed doors, but when they try and rewrite the Constitution, I got a problem with it. I believe that the AFA has just as much of a right to say what they wish, as does the HRC. This attempt to intimidate a TV station into not broadcasting something like this, is just another case of Liberal fascism. Plain and simple.

Keith Olbermann’s Worst Person in the World

Yeah, I’m still miffed at him, for some rather stupid and insensitive remarks that he and some of his cohorts made. But he does a have a point here:

I mean the misspelling of education, during, of all things, an education spot, is just downright funny. 😛

The poll thing goes without saying….

But the biggest of all, Bill O’ comparing Al Gore going to a Netroots convention, to a Klan meeting? That takes on a whole other decibel of stupidity. 🙄

I mean, don’t get me wrong, My feelings on global warming are that the science is just unproven and the whole movement was hi-jacked as a political movement rather than a Environmental issue, which is what it should be.

I turned to look over my shoulder to see who had uttered that ridiculous statement.

“Pardon Me?” I squinted at the dark-skinned man who had just interjected himself into my over-coffee conversation with my buddy, Kevin.

“Obama ain’t black.” He said again more matter-of-factly as he walked around the porcelain dividing wall and stood at our table where he could be more active in our conversation.

“My name’s Andree,” he said as he extended his hand. “I couldn’t help but hear what you boys had been discussin’ and I don’t mean to stick my nose in where it don’t belong, but I couldn’t leave without settin’ you straight. Obama ain’t black.”

I looked at Kevin as he shifted nervously in his seat, not sure how to take this visitor to our table.

I will simply say the following, that it is pretty telling when Obama is doing better in White America, out in places where blacks are in rare supply, than he is in the more urban communities.

Fox News, The village of the Asshats

I never was much of a watcher of the Rupert Mudoch owned Neo-Conservative propaganda machine.

At Fox News, media relations is a kind of rolling opposition research operation intended to keep reporters in line by feeding and sometimes maiming them. Shooting the occasional messenger is baked right into the process.

As crude as that sounds, it works. By blacklisting reporters it does not like, planting stories with friendlies at every turn, Fox News has been living a life beyond consequence for years. Honesty compels me to admit that I have choked a few times at the keyboard when Fox News has come up in a story and it was not absolutely critical to the matter at hand.

But it cuts both ways: Fox News’s amazing coup d’état in the cable news war has very likely been undercovered because the organization is such a handful to deal with. Fox is so busy playing defense — mentioning it in the same story as CNN can be a high crime — that its business and journalism accomplishments don’t get traction and the cable station never seems to attain the legitimacy it so clearly craves.

Yikes, sounds like a McCarthy type mentality, if you ask me. I mean, blackballing people? Wow.

This Gets Better, trust me…. remember the altered Photos that I posted about last week? It turns out, that it is supposedly standard policy to do that, so says Faux Noise. Oh Yes, I am not kidding…

Again, as I have said a thousand times, in my time as a Political Blogger, I just do not watch Fox News, because, quite frankly, I find it to be an insult to my intelligence. I mean, the whole damn Network is a giant propaganda machine. It’s humorous, but borderline insane. But then again, are not most Neo-Conservatives?

I posted this, not for some stupid political ploy, not to be clever, but to remind everyone, no matter what your political stripe or conviction or feeling, You are, We are, all Americans. This is our land, and we should, at least once a year, stop and reflect on our freedoms. The freedom to write, the freedom to Pray to whatever God we wish or the freedom to not pray, at all.  The freedom to agree, the freedom of dissent or to disagree, the freedom to assemble or simply the freedom to do nothing at all.

O’REILLY: "Unresolved Problem" segment tonight, more evidence of values problem among American young people. At the Pascack Valley High School in northern New Jersey, seven ninth-graders, 14- and 15-year-olds, have been suspended for distributing topless photos of their classmates. As many as 20 young girls appeared that way. No charges have been filed, but the community is shocked.

And with us now is Inger Kruegle, the mother of two girls attending the school — they were not involved — and Leslie Brody, a reporter for the Bergen Record who broke the story yesterday. Leslie, we’ll begin with you.

See, what I don’t understand is how girls this young could be persuaded to put themselves at risk by posing in this way for a cell phone camera. What was the persuadability factor there?

BRODY: Well, there are different ways that children got onto these photos. In one case, a boy asked several girls to be part of his photo gallery, kind of a collage he was putting together. Another instance a girl sent it to her boyfriend thinking it was just for him, perhaps, and then they broke up and then he sent it around to his friends.

But this is a common occurrence these days. Boys send photos of themselves to girls as well. Sometimes the photos are meant to stop at the recipient. Sometimes they are intended for distribution.

O’REILLY: Do you think 13- and 14-year-olds or 15-year-olds are smart enough to understand they put themselves at risk when they do this kind of behavior? The girls that you talked to, do they have any idea or are they just stone cold dumb?

BRODY: Well, bear in mind some of these pictures were taken two or three years ago and they surfaced now. But some of these girls were 11, so they could be, perhaps, understood as being a little more innocent or thoughtless. Some kids, perhaps, are looking for attention. Some see Lindsay Lohan doing this kind of thing and want to do it themselves. Some are impulsive.

O’REILLY: But it’s an amazing amount of kids involved with this — 20 — in an affluent school district. This isn’t, you know, the inner city; you would think that these kids would have some kind of a values system. It’s not that it’s so horrendous. You know, it’s not murder or rape. But it’s so stupid.

BRODY: True. But it’s very common as well and the adults —

O’REILLY: Do you think it’s very common across the country?

BRODY: I talked to police today who say it’s quite common. It’s been a big issue at their juvenile officer conferences. It’s been reported in Utah, Connecticut, Texas, New York, previously in New Jersey. I believe —

O’REILLY: So it’s all — and kids as young as 11 are doing it?

BRODY: Yeah, because cell phones are so everywhere —

O’REILLY: Oh, I know that. The technology makes it very easy to do it. Now Inga, what I think this is is lack of a values education. In public school they don’t have — teach values anymore, civics or any of that. You can’t tell the kids what’s right and wrong. You get in trouble. And if kids at home don’t have parents who set boundaries, and many of them don’t, then it’s inevitable that some of them will do this. I still think that they’re incredibly dumb.

Okay, I will admit, I do think that 11 year old girls getting their tits out for a Camera, is very wrong. But do you think Bill let his disdain for the poor class and yes, even the Black race be any more obvious?  But then again, we are talking about Faux Noise.

Just as it was totally unacceptable for Hillary Clinton to make a flippant remark about Bobby Kennedy being assassinated in 1968 and to suggest that she was running in case it happened to Obama, Just as it was totally unacceptable for Michael Savage to play the "Dead Kennedy’s" on his radio show, in a lame attempt to mock the health crisis of Ted Kennedy, It was totally unacceptable what this woman did on Fox News.

This not to say, that all Republicans think like this, I am personally a Constitutionalist and Libertarian and I do not feel this way, I cherish my right to free speech, but with that Right comes a responsibility, and this stupid woman, totally shot that responsibility all to hell.

I also notice that none of the Conservative Blogs are even talking about this. Because they are cowardly bastards, all of them, they should hang their heads in shame, because talking about, even jokingly, killing someone that is running for President of the United States of America, is about the most low class, ignorant thing that one could ever want to do.

The very idea that Rupert Murdoch would even remotely tolerate this sort of reprehensible sort of talk on his own network, speaks volumes about him, his thought process and the status of this man’s very dark soul. It also speak volumes as to the reason why I will never, ever, watch Fox News Channel.

Bill O’ Flips his wig trying to tape a segment…

I’m posting this from the Blogger.com interface… Because I want to upload a video…

The newest thing making the rounds on the Blogs is a Video of Bill O’ of Faux Noise fame, flipping his wig over a prompter not having the correct text or no text at all.

Of course, as a native Detroit’er. This stuff is nothing new. Here’s a video of our own Bill Bonds of WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan flipping his wig over something that wasn’t written to his liking, this was also when Bill Bonds was hitting the sauce as well, back in the 1980’s. For what it is worth, Bill Bonds ended up finally getting fired for his drinking problem, after many "second chances" by management.

So there you have it. Broadcasting at it’s finest.
