Alfonzo on The “Declaration of Dependence”

An Excellent Video:

Now, towards of the end of this. He gets off into the weeds about the Unions. I’ll give him a pass on it. Because some of the stuff he says, I kind agree with. But he went overboard with the “They should gotten out from under them years ago…” I disgree with that crap. But the rest of the video is right on point.

Of course, if I was a real butt hole, I could say if it weren’t for the Democrats, his black ass would not have half the freedom that he has now. But to counter that, If it were not for Abe Lincoln, he would be still in chains. So, it evens out. 😀

Still I wish there were more black people, like Zo here who believed this way. But unfortunately most of them got sucked into that stupid socialist identity politics crap. Thanks to tools like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Good show Zo, as always man. 😀

President-Elect Obama, you need to do something about this….

(Thanks to Captain Ed, of which I have no quarrel with, at least not yet, for this story)

Let me simply preface this entry by saying the following. Yes, I am a Christian, I do not consider myself a protestant Christian. I am, in fact, an Independent Baptist. We Independent Baptists reject the notion that we are a part of the Protestant reformation, as most of the Denominations from that reformation still hold to much of the formal doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church.

Further more, I reject the notion that the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church are even remotely Christian, or the notion that Roman Catholics are even remotely Christians. Any denomination that teaches that Salvation comes by Works, by the Church and by Christ is NOT a Christian Church, nor are it’s doctrines even remotely Christian. Salvation comes by Christ Alone, and NOT by a Church or by any Works.  That is not hate, that is Bible.

Having said all that, I bring an article of where a so-called “priest” is trying to break the laws of Separation of Church and State and is getting the support of the local Catholic “Big-wigs” in the area. The State has more:

A Greenville priest who told parishioners those who cast ballots for President-elect Barack Obama risk placing themselves “outside of the full communion of Christ’s church” is simply enunciating church teaching and has the full support of the Diocese of Charleston, a spokesman said Thursday.

The provocative letter from the Rev. Jay Scott Newman to members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church has sparked some controversy and yet another conversation about faith and public policy.

“Voting for a pro-abortion politician when a plausible pro-life alternative exists constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil,” Newman said in the letter posted on the Greenville church’s Web site, www.stmarysgvl.org, “and those Catholics who do so place themselves outside of the full communion of Christ’s Church and under the judgment of divine law.”

Newman said that those who did not choose the anti-abortion candidate, in this case U.S. Sen. John McCain, “should not receive Holy Communion until and unless they are reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance, lest they eat and drink their own condemnation.”

Calling Obama “the most radical pro-abortion politician ever to serve in the United States Senate,” Newman went on to say Catholics must pray for the newly elected chief executive.

“Let us hope and pray that the responsibilities of the presidency and the grace of God will awaken in the conscience of this extraordinarily gifted man an awareness that the unholy slaughter of children in this nation is the greatest threat to the peace and security of the United States and constitutes a clear and present danger to the common good,” Newman said in the letter.

St. Mary’s was established in 1852 and is considered the mother church for Upstate Roman Catholics. The church has 7,500 members and operates a parish school for 300 students.

While Newman has been the most outspoken of South Carolina priests in the wake of the election, the administrator of the diocese of Charleston, Msgr. Martin T. Laughlin, supports him fully, said diocese spokesman Steve Gajdosik.

“I think it’s fair to say that Father Newman’s letter echoes the sentiments of Father Laughlin,” he said.

In October, Laughlin wrote a letter on faith and citizenship to the state’s Roman Catholics that urged the faithful to be “moral voters.”

“It was more of a positive exhortation to do good, to do the right thing,” Gajdosik said.

In the 2004 election, a controversy erupted when some Roman Catholic bishops suggested Democratic presidential contender John Kerry should be denied Communion because his public votes went against church teachings.

If Newman’s letter is an indication, that struggle over public policy and faith will go on. Many Roman Catholics supported Obama and did not believe their vote was in conflict with their faith.

“Personally, I think it is valuable to have this discussion in the secular media because, many times, many Catholics don’t go to Mass, and so they come at this issue from a secular viewpoint,” Gadjosik said.

“I think to Father Newman’s credit, he isn’t afraid to tackle tough issues. And sometimes there is a lot of pressure to conform and just be nice and go along.”

Sister Mary Ann Walsh, spokeswoman for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, said she had not heard of other churches taking this position in reaction to Obama’s win. A Boston-based group that supports Catholic Democrats questioned the move, saying it was too extreme.

“Father Newman is off-base,” said Steve Krueger, national director of Catholic Democrats. “He is acting beyond the authority of a parish priest to say what he did. … Unfortunately, he is doing so in a manner that will be of great cost to those parishioners who did vote for Senators Obama and Biden. There will be a spiritual cost to them for his words.”

Let me remind my readers that the Roman Catholic Church has a clear track record of persecuting those who did not agree with their Biblically corrupt doctrines. In the 1230’s a group of Christians, who rejected the Doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church were persecuted, that would be a group, that we Baptists can trace our linage to; the Waldensians. Another group of Christians, who were friends with this group, The Albigenses, were brutally slaughtered and their property stolen, by the Roman Catholic Church; all because they refused to accept the fact that the Roman Catholic Church was the “true” Church; this happened in the 1300’s.

President-Elect Obama, this is nothing more than a full bore violation of the concept of the Separation of Church and State. Further more, it is nothing more than outright voter intimation. There is but one way to stop this sort of meddling in the electoral process, and that is to demand a retraction of this so-called “Priests” statement to his Church. If that so-called “Priest” does not retract his statement; then as President of the United States of America, you, President-Elect Obama should, by an executive order, should remove the Tax-Exempt Status of the ENTIRE Roman Catholic Church in the United States of America. Do so on the basis that the Roman Catholic Church has not only violated the separation of Church and State, but has also used the Roman Catholic Church’s doctrines to commit voter intimidation.

There are a couple of books that I highly recommend that people read, especially Catholics, who want to the truth about that so-called Church and it’s bloody history. Here are those books:

Now, I realize that I might lose a reader or two, because I wrote this, but if that is the price that I must pay to present the truth to the people that read this blog, then it is one that I will take. I realize also, that Ed or someone over at HotAir.com will most likely yank this trackback. I’ve always said Republicans were, in fact, fascists. But that’s the price one must be for being a true Bible-Believer, I suppose, such as life, I guess.

We as Americans and as Christians need to guard against Religious persecution from any sort of Christian Domination. That is why the pilgrims fled Great Britain, because the Church of England’s meddling in the affairs of the Government. We should not stand for it here in America.

New Black Panther Party intimidating voters in Pennsylvania

(First seen at HotAir, and then via Twitter)

Story on Fox News:

Via Fox News:

Intimidation tactics, missing ballots and faulty machinery are plaguing voters descending on polling stations to choose between Barack Obama and John McCain.

In Philadelphia, FOX News’ Rick Leventhal received a report from Republican poll watcher Chris Hill that two Black Panthers had stationed themselves at the door to a polling station and were intimidating voters. One held a night stick, Hill said.

Hill told FOX News that he went to talk to the men and they told him white power didn’t rule there.

The man reportedly carrying a night stick was escorted away from the polling station by police, and FOX News found another Black Panther outside the station who said he was a certified observer. Police asked him and the FOX News crew to leave the polling station.

I feared stuff like this happening during this election. The last thing we need right now is reactionaries doing crazy stuff like this. I fear what might happen, if Obama should lose.

Something tells me that this is going to be a very long day and quite the long night.

Your Host goes to vote.

Yes, I did go vote this morning. Yes, I did take the Camera. First the pictures:

voting day 001

And…. Off we go!

voting day 002

I didn’t think there would be many cars at the voting precinct, well, needless to say, I was very wrong! Surprise

voting day 003

Did I mention that there were many cars? Hee hee

voting day 004

Of course, the propaganda masters were out. But I took the bypass to get away from them. Tongue

voting day 005

The line was LONG…. But it moved very quickly, people were very friendly, as friendly as one can be at eight O’clock in the morning. SleepyYawnHee hee

voting day 006

The line moved very quickly, the voting staff was very professional. They even verified my voting information while in the line. Big Grin

voting day 007

Of course, a trip to a public school to vote, would not be complete without exposure to liberal propaganda. Rolling Eyes Yes, let’s study and celebrate Multi-Culturalism. Translation: Let’s be ashamed of our ethnic heritage, be ashamed of our forefather mistakes, and embrace Illegal Aliens in our country. Raised Eyebrow I think not! Phbbbttt

Well, those were the pictures that I could take. I was not allowed to snap photos inside the voting area, Which is understandable. I had one moron who snarled, “I don’t want any pictures taken of me!” (Rolling Eyes)  I said nothing. Dont tell anyone I wanted to tell him not to worry, because he was nothing I wanted to photograph anyhow. Devil Let’s just say that I did not want to break my camera. Hee heeTongue

Some things that I saw that stuck out in my mind. An elderly man, who was easily every bit of 75 or older, barely able to walk; who walked with the assistance of a cane. Who came out to vote. I believe that this election is that important to people. Which is absolutely amazing.

The precinct did have plenty of ballots, the line moved very quickly. There were no hassles at all. The election staff here was very friendly. There was an election ballot challenger, he was from the Republican Party. (Surprise there boy!) He was eyeballing the people voting. I somehow doubt that he is going to find any problems around here.

I am glad that that I went early. Because I believe had I waited, I would have been in line much longer.

For what it is worth, I did vote a straight Libertarian ticket this year. Last night, I did have some second thoughts about it, I did consider voting for Obama, however, principles won out over emotions.

It will be an interesting today and this evening and I will be here Blogging on the interesting stuff.

Heartbreak: New USA Today/Gallup Poll, Obama 53% – McCain 42%

Egad, two days away and this is the best that John McCain can do? Not good, not good at all.

Via USA Today:

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama leads Republican John McCain by 11 percentage points in the last USA TODAY/Gallup national poll of likely voters before Election Day.

With less than two days to go before polls open, the contenders’ support is estimated to be:

• Obama, 53%.
• McCain, 42%.

Those numbers, released this hour, are based on national surveys of 2,472 likely voters. The interviews were conducted by telephone on Friday, Saturday and today. The margin of error on each figure is +/- 2 percentage points.

Gallup says the group it surveyed is mostly made up of voters who fit its “traditional” model of those likely to show up at the polls. Also among the 2,472 are some who have already voted — including first-timers.

The results are identical to Gallup’s “expanded” pool of likely voters, which adds more first-time voters than the survey firm used in the past.

One other set of numbers to consider: Gallup says that when it allocates the 4% of likely voters who either had no opinion or would not choose between Obama and McCain, it estimates the candidates’  current support levels would most likely be 55% for Obama, 44% for McCain.

This very well could be the writing on the wall for the McCain campaign. What could be causing such a hemorrhage of support for John McCain. Well, besides all the stuff racked up against the Bush Administration, there’s this:

McCain’s choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate doesn’t appear to be wearing well with most Americans. In the poll, 45% of registered voters rated the choice as “poor” and another 18% said it was “only fair,” while 19% called it “pretty good” and 16% excellent.

Those are much more negative ratings than in a USA TODAY survey taken just after the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. Then, 60% called the pick of Palin excellent or good; 38% said it was “only fair” or poor.

In contrast, assessments of Barack Obama’s choice of Delaware Sen. Joe Biden remain positive. Now, 60% call Obama’s choice excellent or “pretty good,” while 38% say it was “only fair” or poor. In early September, the divide was 63%-33%.

Biden has a favorable-unfavorable rating of 53%-32%. Palin has a favorable-unfavorable rating of 42%-49%.

One more historic tidbit from the survey: Obama’s favorable rating is 62% — the highest that any presidential candidate has registered in Gallup’s final pre-election polls going back to 1992.

That may very well be the answer. As I have written on here, many times before, John McCain ran on a faulty narrative. One that assumed that the angry Hillary Clinton voters would just come vote for John McCain. That formula, I am afraid was based upon some very flawed thinking. There was a great deal of cooling off that took place, not to mention there was quite a bit of mending that took place in the Democratic Party, between the factions.

Further more, John McCain thought that Sarah Palin would energize the base towards his campaign, and it did just that, but that’s the only thing it energized, it never did catch on with the rest of America.  I cannot say that it is entirely the fault of John McCain himself, because having a Vice-Presidential pick say silly stuff like, “I can see Russia from my House!” as a qualification for Foreign policy experience, is not a good way to make an impression on the Independent voters.

I will offer the standard caveat, that is that polls are a snapshot in time; one should keep the issues, not the polls in mind when voting.  Vote your principles, Vote your conscience, Vote with your mind, vote with your heart, But above all, Vote.  Lives have been lost, blood has been spilled on many a battlefield; distant and domestic, over the great vast space of that shadowing figure we call time; so that we as American Citizens can exercise that one scared thing that gives we the people; the great citizens of this free and Democratic Republic, that is the opportunity to voice our opinions in what happens in our political system in this great country of ours. That is to cast a private ballot choosing whom; we as free Americans, without fear of oppression, to choose the next person to be the President of the United States of America.

More Liberal Hypocrisy… Liberal Democrat Backer puts McCain in a KKK Suit, chasing Obama!

This right here was exactly what my original “Enough!” posting was about. The left’s use of race in this election, and man is it ever sickening.

This via the StarGazette.com:

bilde

Ron Havens has a reputation for provocative Halloween displays that reflect his strong political views.

But even Havens was pretty sure his latest effort was over the top. That didn’t stop him from setting it up in plain sight anyway.

Havens, who lives on Schuyler County Route 15 (Ridge Road) just south of Odessa, this week set up a Halloween display featuring mannequins that  look like Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and Republican rival John McCain.

But the Obama figure looks like he is running, and the McCain likeness is dressed in the hooded robe of the Ku Klux Klan and is carrying a baseball bat.

Havens is quick to point out he is a liberal and a big supporter of Obama, and that the scene is meant to provoke thought about the way he believes Obama has been unfairly treated by the McCain campaign.

"I figured it would be equally offensive to everyone. It’s just for shock value," Havens said. "McCain has been rabble-rousing, calling Obama a terrorist and a Muslim. The McCain campaign has gotten so ugly. That’s what the message is. I can see how people could take this the wrong way. I’m not advocating anything. It’s sarcasm."

The display is in Havens’ front lawn, only a few yards from the highway.

Two years ago, Havens set up a display with a Wizard of Oz theme, with President Bush as the Scarecrow, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as Dorothy, Vice President Dick Cheney as the Tin Man and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld representing the Cowardly Lion.

During the 2004 presidential race between Bush and Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, Bush took on the persona of Dracula in Havens’ front lawn, while Kerry appeared as Frankenstein’s monster, complete with neck bolts.

Georgia Verdier, president of the Elmira-Corning Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said she was concerned about the injection of race into the presidential campaign when someone called her to complain about the scene.

After viewing a photograph of Havens’ display, Verdier said it seems innocuous enough, but she’s still concerned it may send the wrong message.

"It looks friendly but I am concerned not so much about this display, but in general about the fear and hate that have entered the campaign," Verdier said. "This display appears friendly to me. But that’s my take. A young lady passed by and had other feelings. We need to be concerned about that. I think we all need to be careful about what messages we send. The message we send is not always the message received."

Havens said he has no plans to take the display down at this time.

I find it so very ironic that the left can do something like this, and it just fine. But when someone like me, posts a ironic Blog entry that basically says, “Hey the left wants to paint us as racist, let’s give them what they want!”. I get threats and Liberals calling the Secret Service on me. How Ironic.

Like someone said who commented on my posting about the original posting that I made, I cannot wait till this damn election is finally over, because quite frankly, I am sick of the race war and the race baiting and imagery like this. Anyone that thinks that the RIGHT is stoking the flames of racism in this damn election, has got their fucking head up their collective ass.

The right is NOT stocking the racism in this election, it’s the damn left and they’re getting a fucking free pass and yes, I am pissed off about it and yes, I think it is a bunch of BULLSHIT! Angry

This is one of Obama’s supporters people, remember that.

Stupid Local Story of the day: Crowd prays to heal Detroit’s economy

Via The Detroit News:

Nearly 1,000 believers of all faiths descended on Hart Plaza Sunday to pray for healing and economic prosperity for the city of Detroit and the region.

Organizers from Warren’s Renaissance Unity mega-church titled the event “I lift Detroit in Prayer,” and distributed bright yellow bumper stickers with that message. The interfaith ceremony attracted members of the Jewish, Islamic, Christian and other faiths, as well as a mix of Detroiters and suburbanites.

“I am focusing on the economy of the Metro Detroit area,” said Jaime Nix, 58, of Warren. “We’re all in this together.”

The crowd sang “Amazing Grace” and many lifted their hands in prayer. Later, they were invited to scrawl prayers or positive affirmations in 48 journals positioned around the event.

At a time when the sign on the plaza’s kiosk still reads “Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick Welcomes You to Detroit,” many said they were there to pray for healing in the wake of the scandals that prompted the resignation of the former mayor.

“Detroit needs prayers, the way it’s been lately,” said Shannon Carrier, 37, of Roseville. “It’s been the mayor, the economy, unemployment … the list just goes on and on.”

Nancy Salder, 69, of St. Clair Shores, wrote a message of hope in one of the bright yellow books.

“I wrote ‘Thank you God for the transformation that’s already going on,'” Salder said. “We already have a new mayor. This is going to open up all the energy, and get Detroit back.”

While they’re praying, they ought to be praying for all those corrupt Democrats that brought all the troubles on the City of Detroit. Of course, the most corrupt one, Coleman A. Young, is already in hell. So, no amount of praying will help him.

While they are at it, pray for the corrupt unions that broke the Auto industry with their insane greed and collective bargaining to the point to breaking the Auto Companies and keeping them from turning profits.

Idiotic Liberals, you just have to love them, or you’d go crazy!

Our local economy is broken, let’s cry to the Gods! 😆 🙄

Bad Acorn voter applications found here in Michigan….

Stories like this burn my boots. 😡

The Story Via The Detroit Free Press:

Several municipal clerks across the state are reporting fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications, most of them from a nationwide community activist group working to help low- and moderate-income families.

The majority of the problem applications are coming from the group ACORN, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, which has a large voter registration program among its many social service programs. ACORN’s Michigan branch, based in Detroit, has enrolled 200,000 voters statewide in recent months, mostly with the use of paid, part-time employees.

“There appears to be a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications,” said Kelly Chesney, spokeswoman for the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office. “And it appears to be widespread.”

Chesney said her office has had discussions with ACORN officials after local clerks reported the questionable applications to the state. Chesney said some of the applications are duplicates and some appear to be names that have been made up. The Secretary of State’s Office has turned over several of the applications to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office on Friday declined to confirm whether an investigation was taking place.

In recent years, ACORN’s voter registration programs have come under investigation in Ohio, Colorado, Missouri and Washington, with some employees convicted of voter fraud.

ACORN officials said they were looking into the problem.

The reason why this bothers me so much is this; the good majority of the people in the state of Michigan, are hard working honest people that just want to exercise their constitutional right to vote in this election. Not everyone here is a corrupt Liberal who wants to milk the Government for every damn last dime and nickel it can.

It’s stories like this make the rest of us look bad. 😡

Powerful Video

I do wonder if the Obama campaign has seen this or not.

(H/T to Blogwonks)

…..However, I will be fair enough to point out the mistakes.

The Bush Administration admitted that the intelligence that the Bush Administration had, in the leading up to the war, was flat out wrong. Not to mention the “Cherry picking” and stifling of evidence and contrary opinion that surfaced during the lead up the war. Which, in the opinion of this writer, is nothing more than abject fascism.

While I am smart enough to know that this video was not made by the McCain campaign. It does ring at the certain heart string of the American people. However, factually this video falls on it’s face. I agree that the men and women who died in this war, did so believing that they were doing the right thing. However, it does not excuse the fact that mistakes were made. Further more, this video comes across as using our United States Military as some sort of political prop. Which I feel is absolutely sickening.

While this video may be powerful in image and in message. I believe it is a brazen attempt to smear Obama as unpatriotic and inferring that Obama hates our Military persons. That, I am afraid is a bogus lie. I assure you, that if Obama was as nearly as uncaring of our Military personnel as this video infers, he would not even be in the race at all. Because middle America would have never elected him the early primary, if he would have come off as uncaring towards our Military in the primary.

I just do not believe that people are going to buy the subtle message being inferred in this ad, at all. Perhaps in 2004, or even in 2000. But not this time. The country has shifted too much to the left. This because of the many scandals, missteps, and outright blunders by the Government in the last 8 years.

Palin Reality setting in…..

…and it’s not from the Left either.

Rich Lowry on The Corner on National Review Online writes:

My take (and I didn’t see the bits that aired on 20/20 or Nightline last night, although I read the transcript) was that she survived. That’s all she had to do. Politically, everyone was grading her on a pass/fail, and she passed. No gaffes, not that much to fuel damaging follow-on conversation. She’s likable even when she’s at her least authoritative. Most people, I believe, are rooting for her, and she was helped in the post-game by the incredible scorn directed at her by Charlie Gibson. But this was a merely adequate performance. The foreign-policy session was a white-knuckle affair. She barely got through it and showed no knowledge more than an inch deep. What she did demonstrate was amazing self-possession. She somehow bluffed her way through the Bush doctrine question. Gibson apparently didn’t want to go into full “gotcha” territory by asking flat-out if she knew what it is. And then he muddled things further with his dubious definition of it, so she was never truly nailed and there was enough ambiguity there for conservatives to defend her. The fact still remains that she very likely didn’t know any of the possible definitions of the Bush doctrine. I can’t imagine if Obama had picked Gov. Tim Kaine and he had had a similar moment, conservatives would have rushed to say that the Bush doctrine is just too amorphous and complicated for him to know anything about it. Palin seemed weak on economic and budgetary policy too, talking in the vaguest generalities. She was much better, and positively good, on the social issues—which are dear to her and she’s thought about—and anything having to do with her personally or with her record in Alaska. She was magnificent on the Iraq-prayer question. This tends to suggest she’ll be as strong on the national issues, once she’s truly conversant with them. I hope she got up from the foreign policy session and said to her aides, “Dammit. That wasn’t good enough and I’m not letting it happen again. I’m not going to allow myself to be so under-prepared for another high-profile interview again.” Of course, she has a tremendous amount of material to master in a short period of time. What she has to do is the equivalent of Charlie Gibson or any of the rest of us having to answer questions about pipeline policy in Alaska on a moment’s notice. I understand how we all want to be protective of her—I feel the same impulse—but let’s not be patronizing. I believe the truly pro-Palin position is to think she can, should, and will do better than this.

I do not think I could have put it any better myself. I’m glad to see that some Conservatives are being honest enough to say, “Hey, maybe she isn’t what we originally thought.”

Because, with all due respect to the lady and all. This whole mania thing, it’s just not based on facts. It is simply predicated on the fact that she is a woman, and nothing else. While idealistically that might seem like a great and wonderful platform to run on. However, pragmatically, it is a narrative that simply falls flat. It is a sobering fact that Sarah Palin has zero Federal Governmental experience. There is no spinning that at all, and the harder John McCain’s campaign and the RNC try to spin that, the bigger idiots they begin to look like.

The very sad and sick part is the the Neo-Conservative Weekly Standard and some elements of the RNC and, sadly, John McCain’s campaign ARE trying to spin this, and sadly, it is going to cost them in the end. Between this and them using John McCain’s Vietnam P.O.W. status as some sort of a crutch. It may have worked with the Conservative base, during his senate races in the past. But it will alienate the independent voters during this Presidential race.

Because, not everyone feels that being a P.O.W. gives you a free pass to the White House.  Nor do they feel that being a woman, gives you a automatic ticket to be the United States Vice President either. While a pro-feminist agenda might work in a ideological setting, in a “Real World”, “Rubber meets the road”, pragmatic setting, it just does not work and will end up making one look quite foolish.

Once Again, I must instruct Liberals on what is racist and what is not….

*rolls out the blackboard*

mr_magoo

Alright class, today we will, once again, review as to what is racist and what is not.

Ready? Good!

THIS is Racist!:

This is NOT:

The Back story is Here.

This is called Political Satire. It is funny, that is what Political Satire does, make one laugh. It is commonly found in Political Cartoons. The only people that would find this sort of a thing, even remotely offensive, would be those who are commonly referred to as race baiters or race hustlers, or for short, Al Sharpton.

That is all….

Class Dismissed!

Race Baiting Hall of shame: Think Progress, Balloon Juice, The Raw StoryAt-Largely, TheZoo, Jack & Jill Politics,

Now THIS is crossing the god-damned line!

Now, they’ve pissed ME off!

Some asshole, by the name of Cintra Wilson, wrote a absolutely asinine article on Salon.com.

Some of the quotes from this article:

I confess, it was pretty riveting when John McCain trotted out Sarah Palin for the first time. Like many people, I thought, “Damn, a hyperconservative, fuckable, Type A, antiabortion, Christian Stepford wife in a ‘sexy librarian’ costume — as a vice president? That’s a brilliant stroke of horrifyingly cynical pandering to the Christian right. Karl Rove must be behind it.”

[snip]

I don’t want Sarah Palin being the representative leader and custodian of my rights, my Constitution and my country any more than I want polygamist compound leader Warren Jeffs baby-sitting for my preteen goddaughters.

[snip]

As a woman who does not believe what Palin believes, the thought of such an opportunistic anti-female in the White House — in the Cheney chair, no less — is akin to ideological brain rape.

[Snip]

It is a kind of eerie coincidence that Sarah Palin is being sprung on the public at the same time as the bimbo/frat-boy titty comedy “House Bunny,” which features a poster of a beautiful young lady with Playmate-style bunny ears, big, stupid eyes and her mouth hanging open like someone just punched her.

Sarah Palin is the White House bunny — the most nauseating novelty confection of the evangelical mind-set since Southern “chastity balls,” wherein teen girls pledge abstinence from premarital sex by ceremonially faux-marrying their own fathers.

I have zero clue who the fuck this asshole bitch is. But this little bullshit article, is way over the line. I mean, if a Conservative had wrote something like this about Hillary Clinton, the outrage would have been deafening. However, because it is about Sarah Palin, it is perfectly acceptable.

I am not a big fan of John McCain, or Sarah Palin for that matter, but this sort of ignorant bullshit is just fucking wrong. I can see criticizing her for her policies, but this goes way beyond that. This is slandering a woman, simply because you disagree with her political ideology.

But then again, we are talking about the communist far left, who hate America, it’s military, and the values and morals that it stands for.

I say it again, do you NOW see WHY I left that sort of nonsense?

Oh, by the way, I wonder if the Obamassiah would approve of this? or would he say “Enough!”

May this bitch rot in the devil’s hell.

New McCain Ad nails Obama on the kneecaps. (or worse….)

(H/T to Ed over at HotAir.com)

The deadly quote in this entire Ad is:

You know, I am a believer in … in knowing what you’re doing when you apply for a job. Uh, and I think that … if I were seriously to consider running on a national ticket, I would essentially have to start now, before having served a day in the Senate. Now there may be some people who are comfortable doing that, but I am not one of those people. — Barack Obama, 2004

Ouch!

Now some would say that McCain’s team is using words from before his decision to run for President. Which is a fair criticism, however, for those paying attention to this whole race, this could do some serious damage.

Now personally, I think that this is classic Republican fear-mongering. It could work, and then again, it could backfire. Because the only thing that team Barry would have to do, is put out an ad reminding America that George W. Bush had intelligence warning about attacks from Al-Qaeda, and basically did nothing, and then tie McCain to Bush. That would be deadly. But would be very effective.

My advice to McCain is step very lightly on this subject, because it could come back to haunt you. Especially using the terrorist images.

So much for that Hillary speech!

So, you think that Hillary speech soothed all the wounds amongst the Hillary supporters? Well, that is what the Democratic Party wants you to think!

Turns out, it might not be exactly true.

That is because that the Washington Post is reporting the following:

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s most loyal delegates came to the Pepsi Center on Tuesday night looking for direction. They listened, rapt, to a 20-minute speech that many proclaimed the best she had ever delivered, hoping her words could somehow unwind a year of tension in the Democratic Party. But when Clinton stepped off the stage and the standing ovation faded into silence, many of her supporters were left with a sobering realization: Even a tremendous speech couldn’t erase their frustrations.

Despite Clinton’s plea for Democrats to unite, her delegates remained divided as to how they should proceed.

There was Jerry Straughan, a professor from California, who listened from his seat in the rafters and shook his head at what he considered the speech’s predictability. “It’s a tactic,” he said. “Who knows what she really thinks? With all the missteps that have taken place, this is the only thing she could do. So, yes, I’m still bitter.”

There was JoAnn Enos, from Minnesota, who digested Clinton’s resounding endorsement of Barack Obama and decided that she, too, will move on and get behind him. “I’ll vote for [Obama] in the roll call,” she said, “because that’s what Hillary wants.”

I hate to say it, but I kind of knew this was coming. As the saying goes, “Hell hath no fury, of that of a woman’s scorn.” In fact, yesterday, I was over at No Quarter. Which is a pro-Hillary Blog, (I know some have discredited Larry Johnson, but it is the best example…) and the comments section tells the story. It is just this simple, Hillary cannot control her delegates and supporters. She can suggest, she can plead, she can encourage, but she cannot force them, we live in a free and democratic society. Our people choose whom they want to represent them.

So, while it might sound nice that Hillary may have influenced her many supporters into to voting for Obama, this may just not be the case. It is nice to think that Hillary might have able to pull off the ultimate persuasion act, but I am afraid that just might not be the case.

The only way it will be known, as to the depth of that influence, will be in November at the many voting booths across America.

So Much for all that Democrat Party Unity…..

According to Hillary, everything is just okie dokie, hope change and all that:

“Every one of us could stand up and recite all the reasons why we must elect Barack. The Supreme Court is at stake; our educational system needs the right kind of change. We’ve got to become energy independent; we have to create millions of new green collar jobs. We’ve got so much work to do around the world."

"None of that will happen if John McCain is in the White House. I just want to make it absolutely clear we cannot afford four more years of George W. Bush’s failed policies in America and that’s what we would get with John McCain."

However, The Washington Post reports:

A number of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s top advisers will not be staying in Denver long enough to hear Barack Obama accept the nomination for
president, according to sources familiar with their schedules.

Clinton will deliver her speech Tuesday night. She will hold a private meeting with her top financial supporters Wednesday at noon, and will
thank her delegates at an event that afternoon. Former president Bill Clinton will speak that night. Several of Hillary Clinton’s supporters
are then planning to leave town. Among them, Terry McAuliffe, Clinton’s campaign chairman, and longtime supporters Steve Rattner and Maureen
White. Another of Clinton’s top New York fundraisers, Alan Patricof, did not make the trip to Denver.

Robert Zimmerman, a Clinton supporter who is trying now to navigate between the two camps, will be staying for Obama’s speech. But he said
in an interview that it would be unrealistic to expect there would not still be some tension between the two camps — he noted that the same
was true with supporters of Gary Hart and, to a lesser extent, Howard Dean.

"This convention provides a very important opportunity for the Obama campaign to bond with the constituencies that supported Hillary Clinton," Zimmerman said. "It’s not about Barack or Hillary. It’s about bringing in the people here who voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Senator Obama and Senator Biden are, without question, qualified to do that."

While the words of the Democratic Party might be Hope, Change and Unity. Their actions say a totally different story. Which is sad. I feel that if you are going to say something, mean it. Don’t say something and mean something else. It is hypocritical.

Sean Wilentz speaks from the heart

I have been sitting here for the last hour or so, trying to figure out how to Blog about this article.

It is an very interesting article by Sean Wilentz. It appears in Newsweek, who is basically a partner with MSNBC.

In this rather revealing article, Sean proceeds to lay out the factual history of the Democratic Party and it’s struggle to wrangle the White House out of the control of the Republican Party. Sean also shows how, how Kennedy and other Democratic Presidents was not only well known for their speaking ability, but also known for their substance as well.

Sean writes:

The convergence is revealing. As Republican strategists have begun to notice with delight, Obama’s liberal alternative to the post-Bush GOP to date has much in common with Carter’s post-Watergate liberalism. Rejecting “politics as usual,” attacking “Washington” as the problem, promising to heal the breaches and hurts caused by partisan political polarization, pledging to break the grip that lobbyists and special interests hold over the national government, wearing his Christian faith on his sleeve as a key to his mind, heart and soul—in all of these ways, Obama resembles Jimmy Carter more than he does any other Democratic president in living memory.

In other ways, Obama’s liberal vision appears clouded, uncertain and even contradictory. During his four years in Washington, he has compiled one of the most predictably liberal voting records in the Senate—yet he presents himself as an advocate of bipartisanship and ideological flexibility. He has offered himself as the tribune of sweeping change—yet he also proclaims national unity, as if transformation can come without struggle. He has emerged as the champion of a new, post-racial politics, even though he has only grudgingly separated himself from his pastor of 20 years, who every week preached a gospel of “black liberation theology” that has everything to do with racial politics.

The most obvious change to liberal politics Obama has to offer is the color of his skin. Some of his supporters have, whether wittingly or not, been candid enough to say, as Sen. John Kerry did last March, that Obama’s blackness is the rationale for making him president. But it is difficult to square such claims with Obama’s appeal to a liberalism that transcends race. And when Obama himself subtly and not so subtly draws attention to his color, and charges that the John McCain Republicans will try to scare voters by saying he “doesn’t look like all those presidents on the dollar bills,” he turns voting for him into an intrinsically virtuous act, proof that one has resisted base appeals to racism (which, in fact, the McCain campaign has not made).

Much of Obama’s appeal to the left stems from what might be called the romance of the community organizer. Although his organizing career on Chicago’s South Side was brief and, by his own admission, unremarkable, it distinguishes him as another first of his kind in presidential politics, a candidate who looks at politics from the bottom up. For the left, community organizing trumps party politics and experience in government. Some even imagine that Obama is a secret radical, and they see his emergence as an unparalleled opportunity for advancing their frustrated agendas about issues ranging from the redistribution of wealth to curtailing U.S. power abroad.

Obama still has a long way to go to describe the kind of liberalism he stands for, how it meets the enormous challenges of the present—and how it will meet as-yet-unanticipated challenges after the election. Nowhere is this more crucial than in the harsh and volatile realm of foreign policy. Last winter, when his candidacy gained traction, Obama’s foreign-policy credentials consisted almost entirely of a speech he gave before a left-wing rally in Chicago in 2002, denouncing the impending invasion of Iraq as “a dumb war.” That speech, made by a state senator representing a liberal district that included the University of Chicago, and that went unreported in the Chicago Tribune’s lengthy article on the rally, was enough to convince many of his supporters that he is blessed with superior acumen and good instincts about foreign affairs. Later comments, such as his promise, later softened, to meet directly and “without preconditions” with the leaders of Iran and other supporters of terrorism, pleased left-wing Democrats and young antiwar voters as a sign of boldness—even as they left experienced diplomats in wonder at such half-baked formulations.

I must say that I admire Mr. Wilentz for having the chutzpah to be honest enough to admit that the one, that the media has pushed forward as the Democrat that will change America, might just be lacking in substance.

I mean, I realize that there are Neo-Conservatives that are loudly snickering, because this man is saying this. But I personally admire the man for having the intellectual honesty to say what he is feeling. It is not a popular sermon to preach, so to speak. Especially in the Church of Obama.

I must say, that I totally agree with his assessment of Obama as well. No, not because of his skin color, that is a simple minded and quite foolish assumption. I agree with it, because it is the simple facts. Obama just does not have the Political Experience that the many other great leaders of the historic Democratic Party.  The Democratic Party saw a title wave and decided to capitalize upon it. This is why Hillary lost, not only just because she ran a lousy campaign. It was because America wanted something new and the Democrats decided that a new, fresh face was more important than depth and experience.

Now whether is was because of Identity Politics or just an outright euphorically charged decision will for the history books to decide.

However, what is known is this, Obama really needs to tighten up his Campaign message, he has to prove, not just to his Democratic base, but to the rest of America, that he is a person of sound judgement and will be able to lead the White House in not only times of peace, but also in times of crisis. This is what Hillary’s message was. However, because the Media was so focused on Obama, they totally ignored that message.

Kudo’s to Mr. Wilentz for having the courage to speak, what many in America, whether Democrat, Republican or Independent are thinking in America today and will be up till the election in November.

Memo to the Clinton supporters: Will you just get the hell over it already?

Jesus H. freakin’ Christ, this election cycle, for a Blogger like me, is like leading a circular firing squad.

First off, we have Neo-Conservative idiot William Kristol wanting to see nothing short of a floor fight at the Democratic Convention. Oh, I am absolutely sure that Kristol and his gang of Neo-Conservative morons would love nothing more than to see a giant floor fight, complete with (dare I say it?) the assassination of Barack Obama and the chaotic collapse of the Democratic Party into a smoldering heap. This all would be so the Neo-Conservatives could get to John McCain and continue to control Washington D.C. for the next 4 years. Thereby truly continuing the Neo-Conservative agenda in this Country.

Two words Kristol: Keep Dreaming!

If that is not enough to make a man want to take up drinking stiff whiskey, you have former Hillary supporters who are outraged! Outraged, I say! About the fact that Hillary Clinton was not even offered the position of Vice President.

Remember what I said about that circular firing squad? Well, hold on, hope you don’t get dizzy easy.

Listen people, Hillary Clinton, by most accounts, did not even WANT the job of Barack Obama’s Vice President. If she even did, could you freakin’ imagine that vetting process? I mean, people, Bill Clinton took funding from suspected terrorists overseas to build that freakin’ library of his! Not mention the fact that Bill Clinton seriously screwed over a guy, by the name of Peter F. Paul, who was business partners with Stan Lee. Heck, Peter F. Paul has living breathing evidence that Hillary Herself committed a felony during her fundrasing during her senate election campaign.

Not to even mention that if Barry had said, “Okay, forget the vetting, you can be my V.P.” Could you imagine that absolute shit-storm that the far, far, right would have created had Hillary been accepted for the Vice President? You have to know that the far right would have been digging for every last piece of media footage from the Waco compound siege in Waco, Texas and using it for Ads against Obama. Not to mention, The Monica scandal, Travel Gate, White Water, Vince Foster, and the list goes on and on and on and on.

Barack Obama might be a far lefty Liberal, but people, he is no dummy. Yeah, Biden might have a little baggage from a 1988 President campaign when he copied a speech. But honestly, that is absolutely nothing like the baggage that Hillary Clinton comes with. I mean, the two just are not comparable.

To the hardened Hillary supporters, I simply say this. I do not like anymore than you that Hillary lost. I think what the Democrat Party did here in Michigan and in Florida was absolutely wrong. But, unless your Party does something to change the rules of selection for President of United States, there’s nothing that can be done about it. The states moved up their primaries, and the DNC decided to punish them for it. Unless there are rule changes, that is just the way it is. I mean, standing around sucking your thumb and stamping your feet is not going to change a thing. I mean, seriously, do you, as an American citizen want to see four more years of George W. Bush?!?!?! That would be absolutely insane. You all just need to get the hell over it, and hope the Hillary decides to run again in 2012 or 2016. By that time, if Barry is a lame duck by then, Hillary will have a clear shot at the White House. That is, if she has not stroked out or something.

It is official: Obama/Biden for 2008

You know it’s a big Political story when I bounce my fat butt out of bed at 7:00 in the morning! 😀 😉

I’m talking about the big, Big, BIG story…. That Barack Obama has selected Joe Biden for his running mate for President of the United States.

You have to know that John McCain’s campaign is in “Oh Crap!” and hunker down mode right about now. Because no matter who John McCain selects as his running mate, he is going to be a open target for Obama’s new attack dog.

I mean, at this point, no matter who McCain selects, McCain is going to have trouble. If McCain selects Joe Lieberman, McCain will be seen by the Republican and Conservative base as a traitor. If McCain selects Mitt Romney, he will be seen by the majority of America as a out of touch, rich elitist. Heck, even Tom Ridge is not ever well liked by the Republican base. So, unless McCain picks a second tier political person, McCain is going to be screwed.

I mean consider this statement by the campaign:

“There has been no harsher critic of Barack Obama’s lack of experience than Joe Biden,” said McCain spokesman Ben Porritt. “Biden has denounced Barack Obama’s poor foreign policy judgment and has strongly argued in his own words what Americans are quickly realizing — that Barack Obama is not ready to be President.”

One Word: Lame. Seriously, is that the best damned line that the John McCain’s herd of paid lackeys could come up with? Bringing up something from the Primary?!?!?!

What does Biden brings to the table? Experience of all sorts, Foreign Policy, DC Beltway, and just a general sense of “I’ve been around for a while”. Not to mention, he makes one hell of a good attack dog. He is, in fact, a Kennedy type, except for that he’s not nearly as wealthy. So, he’s the real deal. Disclosure: I would have voted for Biden, had he made it to the Michigan Primary.

You know, I am well-known on this blog for my quite controversial statements. So, as a parting shot, let me hand this word of warning to the McCain campaign. John McCain had better hide his balls in Cindy’s purse, because if he doesn’t, Joe Biden will hand McCain’s balls to him on a plate and will make him eat them.

It is going to be one HELL of interesting election season.

More commentary, and I mean a whole damn truckload of it, at Memeorandum

Looks like Barry’s glow is fading fast….

Looks like people are waking up from the Obamassiah stupor and seeing the Marxist magic negro for what he really is. Which is a very good thing for America.

Via Zogby International.

As Russian tanks rolled into the Republic of Georgia and the presidential candidates met over the weekend in the first joint issues forum of the fall campaign, the latest polling includes drama almost as compelling – Republican John McCain has taken a five-point lead over Democrat Barack Obama in the race for President, the latest Reuters/Zogby telephone survey shows.

McCain leads Obama by a 46% to 41% margin.

And McCain not only enjoys a five-point edge in a two-way race against Obama, but also in a four-way contest including liberal independent candidate Ralph Nader and Libertarian Bob Barr, the poll reveals. In the four-way contest, McCain wins 44% support, Obama 39%, Barr 3% and Nader 2%.

This latest Reuters/Zogby poll is a dramatic reversal from the identical survey taken last month – in the July 9-13 Reuters/Zogby survey, Obama led McCain, 47% to 40%. In the four-way race last month, Obama held a 10-point lead over McCain.

The Reuters/Zogby Horserace

August July

——————————

McCain 46% 40%

Obama 41% 47%

Not sure/Other 13% 13%

Here’s hoping that the rookie from Chicago gets his proper place in this election, at the BACK of the bus, where he belongs.
