I am posting this tonight. Well, because I am mad as hell. I am mad as hell at the party that I once called my own. The Democrat Party. The Party that I have voted for since I have been of voting age. You see my party is stoking racial hatred in this Country, and I think it sucks, badly.
Yeah, I know, John McCain did some rather idiotic stuff. But that does not excuse the idiotic horseshit that has been coming out of the left, here as of late. I mean, to hear that “Republican means slavery”. Seriously? Are people just that damn stupid? I mean, was it not Abraham Lincoln that basically freed the slaves?
Anyhow, there’s a good bit of imagery in this damn video, the black in this video to me, is Liberalism, and its many evils.
Oh yeah, I could go on, about how the party has lost it’s way… But I think you all know what I am getting at.
For what it is worth, I am not ready to make nice, at all.

…..However, I will be fair enough to point out the mistakes.
The Bush Administration admitted that the intelligence that the Bush Administration had, in the leading up to the war, was flat out wrong. Not to mention the “Cherry picking” and stifling of evidence and contrary opinion that surfaced during the lead up the war. Which, in the opinion of this writer, is nothing more than abject fascism.
While I am smart enough to know that this video was not made by the McCain campaign. It does ring at the certain heart string of the American people. However, factually this video falls on it’s face. I agree that the men and women who died in this war, did so believing that they were doing the right thing. However, it does not excuse the fact that mistakes were made. Further more, this video comes across as using our United States Military as some sort of political prop. Which I feel is absolutely sickening.
While this video may be powerful in image and in message. I believe it is a brazen attempt to smear Obama as unpatriotic and inferring that Obama hates our Military persons. That, I am afraid is a bogus lie. I assure you, that if Obama was as nearly as uncaring of our Military personnel as this video infers, he would not even be in the race at all. Because middle America would have never elected him the early primary, if he would have come off as uncaring towards our Military in the primary.
I just do not believe that people are going to buy the subtle message being inferred in this ad, at all. Perhaps in 2004, or even in 2000. But not this time. The country has shifted too much to the left. This because of the many scandals, missteps, and outright blunders by the Government in the last 8 years.

The Late Night Music Express with…….Dio
This song was from right smack dab in the middle of the 1980’s.
Dio, who had just left Black Sabbath, released this song.
The visual imagery is typical of that time period. Where in the late 1960’s and throughout the 1970’s it was nuanced, in the 1980’s it was outright, it was very Church-like and borderline occult-like. Which drove the Fundamentalist Christians crazy, they perceived as a attack of the mean ol’ devil. In all reality it was simply a marketing tool or a fad. The point is that it worked, and sold records.
I could tell you some very humorous stories about being in Church and hearing the wild tales about backward masking, Satanism. I laugh about it now, but back in the day, it was serious stuff.

In case you haven’t heard. We lost another legend.
Enjoy this video, it captures a master at his trade, at his best. This is “Stormy Monday”…
His List of accomplishments include:
Hayes was a longtime songwriter and arranger for Stax Records in Memphis, playing in the studio’s backup band and crafting tunes for artists such as Otis Redding and Sam and Dave in the 1960s.
He released his first solo album in 1967, and his 1969 follow-up, “Hot Buttered Soul,” became a platinum hit.
In 1971, the theme from “Shaft” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks and won an Academy Award for best original theme song. The song and the movie score also won Grammy awards for best original score and movie theme.
Hayes won a third Grammy for pop instrumental performance with the title track to his 1972 “Black Moses” album.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
Isaac Hayes music embodied the black experience, Issac asked in his hit tune “Shaft”, “can you dig it?” and to that I simply say, yes, we all dug it, on some sort of a level or another.
I am sure that some asshole White, High-brow, Conservative and some other Conservative Minority will snivel at this man and dismiss him as a Liberal who promoted Identity Politics, But he was about so much more than that.
I, for one, am quite sorry to learn of his passing, an era in music has just ended. 🙁
May he rest in peace.

Keith Olbermann’s Worst Person in the World
Yeah, I’m still miffed at him, for some rather stupid and insensitive remarks that he and some of his cohorts made. But he does a have a point here:
I mean the misspelling of education, during, of all things, an education spot, is just downright funny. 😛
The poll thing goes without saying….
But the biggest of all, Bill O’ comparing Al Gore going to a Netroots convention, to a Klan meeting? That takes on a whole other decibel of stupidity. 🙄
I mean, don’t get me wrong, My feelings on global warming are that the science is just unproven and the whole movement was hi-jacked as a political movement rather than a Environmental issue, which is what it should be.

As a caveat, the cameras were supposed to be off, but obviously, a tape was rolling. But still it speaks to the Political tone deafness of the President. He is yucking it up, while people are losing their houses and while people are dying, because of a pointless and undeclared war in Iraq. Yes, I know, the surge has worked, but still to the general populous of America, this just looks bad. This also could possibly hurt McCain in the long run, because I have sneaky suspicion that the 527’s and possibly Obama campaign might use a video like this, to do a hit job on McCain. In a attempt to try and push McCain closer to Bush.

“Obama ain’t black.”
I turned to look over my shoulder to see who had uttered that ridiculous statement.
“Pardon Me?” I squinted at the dark-skinned man who had just interjected himself into my over-coffee conversation with my buddy, Kevin.
“Obama ain’t black.” He said again more matter-of-factly as he walked around the porcelain dividing wall and stood at our table where he could be more active in our conversation.
“My name’s Andree,” he said as he extended his hand. “I couldn’t help but hear what you boys had been discussin’ and I don’t mean to stick my nose in where it don’t belong, but I couldn’t leave without settin’ you straight. Obama ain’t black.”
I looked at Kevin as he shifted nervously in his seat, not sure how to take this visitor to our table.

I will simply say the following, that it is pretty telling when Obama is doing better in White America, out in places where blacks are in rare supply, than he is in the more urban communities.
