New RNC Ad – “Guilt by participation”

Finally the RNC gets it right…

via the Politico:

I have to say that this one was much better done, without all the “Obama’s a terrorist” stupidity. It simply points out that Obama put his career before the country. Which I believe is true.

Of course, you can expect the right to really flip out about this one. As well, you can expect some of fringe right to misunderstand this to mean the Obama is a Muslim terrorist.

But wouldn’t be about a bitch if this here is true and the media covered it up?

  1. “It simply points out that Obama put his career before the country.”

Clearly, he put his country before his career. He was not working for the glorification of Ayers, he was working for the benefit of Chicago education, on city establishment boards that involved people from across the political spectrum, including one odious twerp who did bad things in the sixties. Clearly everyone involved, including the conservatives like Annenberg, believed the goal was more important than Ayers’ past.

Putting the country first means working with people you may have differences with.

  2. Thanks. Put it this way: just think where we’d be if everyone had refused to work with Werner von Braun and other Nazis brought back after WW2, rather than putting that behind them and putting the country first.
