Sarah Palin threatens to sue over “Rogue” Book

As you all know, I am not a big fan of Sarah Palin.  But I do not blame her one bit here.

The Video:

The Story here:

Sarah Palin’s family attorney John Tiemessen has written a letter to Maya Mavjee, the publisher of the Crown Publishing Group, a division of Random House, that Palin may sue her, the company, and the book’s author Joe McGinniss “for knowingly publishing false statements” in his book released last week, “The Rogue,” ABC News has learned.

The book was widely panned by critics for using unnamed sources to criticize Palin and her family. Tiemessen cites an email they have access to in which McGinniss writes that attorneys from Crown Publishing told him “nothing I can cite other than my own reporting rises above the level of tawdry gossip. The proof is always just around the corner, but that is a corner nobody has been able to turn” and that McGinniss “ran out of time” to sufficiently source the book.

A source close to the Palins tells ABC News that the “Palins are fighting back and demanding answers from Random House.”

“Random House is at the top of the food chain and published a book based upon acknowledged unsubstantiated gossip,” the source said. “The revealing email is key as evidence of this defamatory approach to politics through proxies.”

Tiemessen writes in the letter that the email “clearly describes the fact that Mr. McGinniss researched and investigated many false and scurrilous allegations, and concluded that there was absolutely no evidence anywhere backing these allegations.”

Palin’s attorney writes that it is “malicious” for Crown to publish the book when it has proof McGinniss and Crown “were fully aware the statements in the book were false, intended to be false, and were intended to harm.”

“The final work that was published contains most of the stories that Mr. McGinniss complains were nothing more than ‘tawdry gossip’ that amounted to the wishful fantasies of disturbed individuals,” Tiemessen writes. “Since both your company, and the author, clearly knew the statements were false, admitted they had no basis in fact or reality, but decided to publish in order to harm Governor Palin’s family, you and Mr. McGinniss have defamed the Palins.”

Tiemessen ends the letter by warning the publishing house not to “delete emails or destroy records” that may be used in the suit.

Like I said, I am not her biggest fan; but I hope like heck she does go after this guy and this publishing company. Because the book was a crappy book that made some seriously big libel statements. Plus, the guy who wrote it, is quite an asshole. So, here’s hoping he gets his, and good too.

Tea Party Racism?

I am not someone who likes to play the race card or even assert a racist charge, because that is the left’s game.  However, I saw this; and I thought, “wait a second….”

I happened to read over at HotAir.com, a news item by Tina (original politico story here…) about the founder of Tea Party Nation’s founder Judson Phillips, who endorsed Newt Gingrich. My issue is not with the endorsement, but with some of the words used. I will make those words very clear here and explain why they bother me:

Tea Party Nation founder and CEO Judson Phillips has endorsed Newt Gingrich in the Republican primary, he writes in a blog post.

“Newt is electable. If you have seen the GOP debates, Gingrich has been the best debater. He does really well in that format and he looks Presidential,” Phillips, a former Tennessee district attorney who founded Tea Party Nation in 2009, wrote.

Here is a picture of the “Presidential Looking”   Newt Gingrich:

Newt Gingrich

…and a picture of the Florida Straw poll winner, Herman Cain:

Herman Cain

What I want to know from Mr. Judson Phillips is this; what does he mean by “Looking Presidential?” I want him or anyone else in the Republican Party or in the Tea Party movement to define those terms. Because I am going to remind everyone of this — we are the party of Lincoln and when we start using terms like this; which could very well be underhanded racism — we bring a discredit to the Tea Party movement, which admittedly by Fox News, has already started fading out. The Republican Party is supposed to be the party of racial, class and Christian unity. However, when it see words like this; it trips my radar a little.

My point is this, we do not need to start fostering a “Trent Lott” mentality in the Republican Party. We see how well that worked out for them in the past. For the record, yes, I have criticized Herman Cain in the past, when I thought it was deserved; but this sort of idiotic nonsense is uncalled for, and I think Mr. Phillips needs to explain just what he meant by what he said.  Further more, I left the Democratic Party, because of the class warfare, the disunity between the races and the “Pot Stirring” between the races. I am well aware of the questionable past of some of the GOP’s greats of the past; and my point here is, we no NOT need to go back to that era — not now and not ever.  We have cleansed that party of the bigots and haters and relegated them to the sidelines. Here is hope and praying that we do not go down that path again. Because as a kid who grew up, not out here in the “Whitey Tighty” suburbs of Detroit. But in the inner city of Detroit, notably the Southwest side of Detroit. Which means, yes, I grew up now only around White people; but Latinos, and yes, even black people. I still to this day, have many black friends. So, when I hear language like this; my antenna goes up and I start asking questions.

Just my thoughts and I’d like to hear yours.

Maxine Waters: President Obama would not tell Gays or Jews to “Stop Whining”

Remember President Barack Obama’s command to the CBC to “quit whining?

Well, that went over like a lead balloon with those folks.

Here’s the Video: (H/T HotAir.com)

Ah  yes, identity politics Democratic Party style. a perfect example of why I stopped voting for them.

An aside, check out some of the comments over at HotAir.com. Some seriously funny stuff there! 😆 😀

More Democratic Party stupidity

On boy, more of that stupidity that I blogged about earlier….

This one comes via CBS NEWS:

Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz says it makes no difference which Republican presidential candidate scores the nomination for 2012 – because they all share extreme-right views that will not prevail over President Obama.

Wasserman Schultz, speaking in an appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” said Sunday that any Republican candidate in the field would pose a “very stark contrast” when matched up against Mr. Obama in the 2012 election, particularly on issues like Social Security, immigration reform and Medicare.

“It doesn’t much matter which one of the Republicans gets nominated because they’re all the same,” the Florida Democrat said. “They are all embracing and bear-hugging the Tea Party. Moving to the right – they can’t move to the right far enough.

“They all favor privatizing Social Security, which would pull the safety net out from under our seniors, and favor ending Medicare as we know it… They all are wrong on immigration reform when it comes to Hispanics in the states,” she continued.

I know what I’d like to call her, but if did. I’d be proving those who don’t like me right. I have to keep believe that all of “them” are not the same.

Stupid NYT article of the week

Would you like to see a perfect example of the disconnect between reality and the democrats?

Then, go, please and read here.

I have been at this blogging since 2006 and this is one of the more “interesting” ones I have read yet. See if you can spot the lies and spin and comment about them here.

Romney wins Michigan straw poll

Not a big surprise, but, it’s news.

Via HotLine On-Call

Mackinaw island, Mich. – In a rout, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney trounced Rick Perry and the rest of the GOP field to win the National Journal Hotline/National Association of Home Builders Straw Poll of GOP activists attending a weekend conference in Michigan.

Romney received 51 percent of the 681 votes cast, a whopping 34-percentage point victory over second-place Perry, who garnered 17 percent. It was the second straight defeat for Perry in a straw poll, after he finished second in another contest Saturday in Florida. The twin disappointments, along with weak debate performances, have raised questions about whether the Texas governor will remain the perceived front-runner in the GOP nomination fight.

Romney grew up in suburban Detroit and in the Michigan governor’s mansion; his father, George Romney, served as the state’s chief executive from 1963 to 1969. Michigan is likely to hold its presidential nomination contest on Feb. 28, a week before Super Tuesday. It is also an important state in the general election contest.

Both Romney and Perry addressed the conference Saturday, and while Perry took subtle digs at his GOP rival, Romney denounced President Obama’s economic leadership. “I just don’t think he’s equipped for what’s happening,” the former Massachusetts governor said.

Like I’ve said on here a bunch of times, I do not like Mitt Romney. I have my reasons, like this here. … And that’s just for starters.

Hopefully, Herman Cain can pull off the nomination. Because a choice between the Mormon moron and Texas swagger cowboy, is really no choice at all.

UPDATED: Speaking of Racism: Democrats show thier true colors

As you know, Herman Cain, who is a very successful businessman and also a black Conservative, won the straw poll in Florida.  As you also know, I just pointed out some serious racism by the left. Well, the democrats are not disappointing; check out some of the racist or “So damned close to being racist without sounding racist” as you can get.

All of these postings are actual blog postings by liberal blogs about Herman Cain and the night is young:

“Update: And it’s official. Pizza King Cain wins the straw poll. By a lot” — The Impolitic “Another day in the clown car – Update”

I have also heard Herman Cain referred to as Herman “Greasy Pizza” Cain too; which is just another way of calling him a greasy n-word. I mean, why not just say that?

Apparently, the Republicans are doing one of these stupid Straw Polls in Floridatoday. The problem is, the base hates all the candidates, which makes picking someone in the Straw Poll a bit of a challenge. Byron York speculates that Herman Cain might do better than expected because no one feels like voting for Rick Perry after he called them heartless. This makes sense to me because the most obvious to do if someone calls you out on your heartless hatred of Latinos is to vote for the black guy. ‘See? I’m not a racist who thinks minorities are biting into too much of my paycheck. I’m color blind.’

Can you feel the Cainmentum?  — Booman Tribune

Can you feel the racism?

Florida straw poll voters decided they hate everyone and voted for the only candidate who’s never held public office, Herman Cain. — Crooks and Liars

So what if Herman Cain has never held public office? Why is that a problem to Democrats? I mean, Barack Obama’s time in office was not that great. Why is this an issue? Because Herman Cain is a black Conservative. That my friends is classic Democratic Party racism.

and finally:

I’d say that Republicans couldn’t be crazy enough to nominate Herman Cain … but then again, they also nominated Christine O’Donnell, Sharron Angle, Joe Miller, Ken Buck, and, yes, Sarah Palin.

So, why would not the Republicans be crazy to nominate Herman Cain? Because he is black and a Conservative? Racism much John Amato? Just saying... 🙄

….and the night is young. If I spot anymore racism, I will post it here.

Update: Wow… Push out a post and find more of it:

Yes, running a chain of pizza parlors is just like running a country. Just yell, and the employees will scamper around and bring those cheese suppliers to heel.

[….]

In a field that might be called Mittens and the Seven Clowns, the base definitely prefers the clowns. The Mahablog

A Black Conservative being called “a clown” by a Democrat, that sounds about right. Unreal. 🙄

Update #2: Stupid is, as stupid does.

Russia’s Putin is rising in power…Again

This is not good news. Putin wants to take Russia back to the soviet style communism.

From FT.COM:

Russia’s prime minister Vladimir Putin will return to his post as president next year after he and president Dmitry Medvedev announced they were switching jobs.

The announcement was made on Saturday at the annual conference of United Russia, the hegemonic party that controls two-thirds of Russia’s parliament. It put to rest intrigue over Mr Putin’s next move.

The announcement confirms the long-held impression that Mr Medvedev was only ever a place holder for Mr Putin, who was constitutionally prohibited from a third term after serving as president from 2000-2008.

Mr Putin is now likely to win two consecutive 6 year terms, giving him a total of a quarter century in power from the time he took over the Kremlin in 2000. He remains Russia’s strongest political figure despite stepping aside for four years.

There are some on the partisan right, that would blame Obama for something like this; but I not. The truth is, Putin has wanted to put Russia back into the old Soviet style of communism since the Soviet Union fell. He was in the KGB and was and most likely still is a hardliner.

Can there be a reset of relations? Not with Obama. He is too weak. The next President will have to do that. Hopefully, the Republicans choose wisely.

Your out of control Government at work again….

This time it is the EPA that is out of control.

WorldNetDaily has the story:

Just imagine. You want to build a home, so you buy a $23,000 piece of land in a residential subdivision in your hometown and get started. The government then tells you to stop, threatens you with $40 million in fines and is not kidding.

That’s the case now before the U.S. Supreme Court, with briefs being filed today by the Pacific Legal Foundation on behalf of a Priest Lake, Idaho, family, Chantell and Mike Sackett.

Attorney Damien Schiff, who will be arguing before the high court in the case, said it’s simply a case of a government run amok, and it poses a potential threat to perhaps not every landowner across the nation, but untold millions.

The Sacketts, Schiff said, “bought property, and the government in effect has ordered them to treat the property like a public park.”

“The EPA has not paid them a dime for that privilege,” he said. “The regime we have operating now allows the EPA to take property without having to pay for it, or giving the owners the right to their day in court.

Here is the video of the couple explaining their plight:

Allow me to simply say this, to add to this story; this, my friends, is what happens when you elect Democrats. They expand the size of Government and Government begins to overreach. Some would say that Neoconservatives, like Bush do the same thing and it is true. As Michelle Bachmann said here recently; we should not settle for second best, when it comes to a truly constitutionally Conservative candidate. We need someone as the Republican candidate for President that would SHRINK, NOT GROW the size of Government. Why, you ask? Because of ignorant stupidity like this right here.

Because the truth is this; big, overreaching Government not only hurts the small business owner and also the bigger business owners — but it also hurts the average American too. Not only in taxes; but in cases like this one here. Since when does the Government just come in and tell you that you cannot build your own house? Since Americans started electing big Government socialists.  Which is the whole crux of the problem; when Americans elect Democratic Party socialists, like the current one in the White House — it is not the poor and disadvantaged that suffer or more accurately the lazy people who do not want to work and want a free check from the Government. The people who suffer are the hard working people of this Country, who simply want to enjoy the American dream without fear of oppression of the Government. This is why the Republican Party had better choose wisely this time; because I simply do not know, if America can stand another four years of this sort of Governmental overreach. Republicans have done played the Big Government game too, That I do know. However, I also know that we cannot take another four years of Big Government — from either Party.

Video: Ron Paul now using the Military as a campaign prop.

I received a rather angry e-mail from a friend of mine, who served in the Military, who reads my blog daily. He showed this video.

It appears that Ron Paul is now using the Military as a campaign prop to get elected; you know, sort of like George W. Bush? Anyhow, here is the video:

The truth is Ron Paul is a avowed isolationist and would dismantle our Military, just like Jimmy Carter did.

There’s a ton more of stuff about Ron Paul on this Blog. Click this link here and here — and learn the truth about this dishonest piece of crap.

Memo to Ron Paul’s campaign and to the man himself — the Military is much smarter than that dude. Seriously. 🙄

Another bone of contention is this; this sends a ever so subtle message, that the Vietnam War was some sort of evil war and that it cost the lives of many people needlessly. Hmmm, now where have I heard this one before? Oh Yes! The left! I would be willing to bet a great deal of money, that there are many vets out there, that would take issue with this video; and the bullcrap lies that it coveys, especially those about Ron Paul.

Why I will not be watching the Republican debate

This pretty much sums it up…:

The fall marathon of four Republican presidential debates in little more than a month may already be wearing out casual observers of the political process, or those who expected their favored candidate to knockout the competition in one appearance.

Let’s remember these debates are about theater, not issues — and tonight’s play is Julius Caesar, with Texas Governor Rick Perry in the title role, and the other eight candidates on the stage surrounding him with their knives at the ready.

We know in Shakespeare’s version of the play Caesar was eventually slain, but front-running Rick Perry may decide to change the script and the outcome of tonight’s presentation of political theater.

via The Orlando Republican Presidential Debate Will Be About Theater, Not Issues | ConservativeHQ.com.

I know that the author of this, Richard A. Viguerie, is not real popular amongst the right. But, when he is right, he is right. These debates are nothing more than a Republican fashion show. When the Republicans actually start debating Democrats; and can do that, articulating why President Barack Obama’s polices have failed, without sounding crazy, is when I will get interested.

Welcome to my World: 6 Million people age 25-34 live with parents, up 25%

I’m 39 and I still live at home and yes, it sucks. You know, I’ve been called a leech, a shit stain and alot of other names. But honestly? Is it my fault? No, it’s the economy around here and leaders in Washington D.C. that have screwed the Country into the ground.

I saw this via Drudge:

WASHINGTON — Call it the recession’s lost generation.

In record-setting numbers, young adults struggling to find work are shunning long-distance moves to live with Mom and Dad, delaying marriage and buying fewer homes, often raising kids out of wedlock. They suffer from the highest unemployment since World War II and risk living in poverty more than others — nearly 1 in 5.

New 2010 census data released Thursday show the wrenching impact of a recession that officially ended in mid-2009. It highlights the missed opportunities and dim prospects for a generation of mostly 20-somethings and 30-somethings coming of age in a prolonged slump with high unemployment.

“We have a monster jobs problem, and young people are the biggest losers,” said Andrew Sum, an economist and director of the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University. He noted that for recent college grads now getting by with waitressing, bartending and odd jobs, they will have to compete with new graduates for entry-level career positions when the job market eventually does improve.

“Their really high levels of underemployment and unemployment will haunt young people for at least another decade,” Sum said.

via Recession yields a lost generation of workers – Business – Stocks & economy – msnbc.com.

Honestly though, my folks do not mind me living here; they like the help and I am an only child; so, there is not another brother or anything, who can help. So, I live here, until this economy recovers. Another thing too, in 2004, I filed for bankruptcy and I did start over. I made the stupid mistake of getting into a lot of debt, when I was younger with a credit card. Needless to say, I learned my lesson there. I have a debit card now, and if I zap that back account, I am screwed. So, I have the motivation to not screw that up!

On a related note, on the economy; the man who came to fix our A/C here, told me that he is lucky if he gets like 25 hours a week with the company he is with. Now keep in mind, this is not a trainee or anything that, this dude was certified in A/C and Heating. He has the license and everything; and he is not even getting 40 hours a week of work. That, my friends, is how screwed up our economy truly is. 🙁

Those who have a job are lucky to get enough money to put food on the table, and those of us, who cannot find a job are basically left out in the cold. This is why I have such a big problem with all this union protectionism crap that the left is touting. I respect the Unions at all and what they fought for, many years ago. But, we are living in a different would and the prosperity of that era; which the unions took advantage of, is gone for good.

So, that is why, when I see stuff like this here; my heart breaks, because it is not the wealthy people who are going to suffer. It is going to be the working class people and the poor; who are going to suffer the most. The thing to remember is this; it all trickles down, sooner or later. The wealthy lose, the jobs dry up and people suffer. The bad part is, Government cannot fix it. it has to fix itself. The sad part is, it usually takes a LONG time for it to fix itself.

This, is the folly of Progressivism; the belief that Government can fix something that it did not break, in the first place.

Good grief HotAir.com!

So finally HotAir.com gets around to reporting a story, that I reported about 3 days ago. (and they’re a big blog?!?!)

…and in the subtitle under the picture for the story, we see this:

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.”

The quote above, is a liberal screwball translation of Hebrews 4:12.

This is the same scripture from the version of the Bible that was used in the United States for over three hundred years — The King James Version of the Holy Scriptures:

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 KJV)

But yet, HotAir.com claims to be a “Conservative” Blog. I find that very troubling.

…and no, I am not kidding at all.

This is what Ronald Reagan said about the King James Version of the Bible: (Via AV1611.org)

The following transcript is one of Ronald Reagan’s famous radio addresses. In this address (which aired September 6, 1977), Ronald Reagan, the great orator, eloquently gives his thoughts on the “Good News Bible” (also called the Good News for Modern Man and Today’s English Version) in comparison to the Authorized Version or the King James Bible.

What would you say if someone decided Shakespeare’s plays, Charles Dicken’s novels, or the music of Beethoven could be rewritten & improved?     I’ll be right back. . .Writing in the journal “The Alternative”, Richard Hanser, author of The Law & the Prophets and Jesus: What Manner of Man Is This?, has called attention to something that is more than a little mind boggling. It is my understanding that the Bible (both the Old & New Testaments) has been the best selling book in the entire history of printing. Now another attempt has been made to improve it. I say another because there have been several fairly recent efforts to quote “make the Bible more readable & understandable” unquote. But as Mr. Hanser so eloquently says, “For more than 3 1/2 centuries, its language and its images, have penetrated more deeply into the general culture of the English speaking world, and been more dearly treasured, than anything else ever put on paper.” He then quotes the irreverent H. L. Mencken, who spoke of it as purely a literary work and said it was, “probably the most beautiful piece of writing in any language.”

They were, of course, speaking of The Authorized Version, the one that came into being when the England of King James was scoured for translators & scholars. It was a time when the English language had reached it’s peak of richness & beauty.

Now we are to have The Good News Bible which will be in, “the natural English of everyday adult conversation.” I’m sure the scholars and clergymen supervised by the American Bible Society were sincerely imbued with the thought that they were taking religion to the people with their Good News Bible, but I can’t help feeling we should instead be taking the people to religion and lifting them with the beauty of language that has outlived the centuries.

Mr. Hanser has quoted from both the St. James Version & the Good News Bible some well known passages for us to compare. A few thousand years ago Job said “How forcible are right words!” [Job 6:25] The new translators have him saying “Honest words are convincing.” That’s only for openers. There is the passage [Eccl. 1:18], “For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow”. Is it really an improvement to say instead, “The wiser you are, the more worries you have; the more you know the more it hurts.”

In the New Testament, in Mathew, we read “The voice of the one crying in the wilderness. Prepare ye the way.” [Matthew 3:3] The Good News version translates that, “Someone is shouting in the desert. Get the road ready.” It sounds like a straw boss announcing lunch hour is over.

The hauntingly beautiful 23rd Psalm is the same in both versions, for a few words, “The Lord is my shepherd” but instead of continuing “I shall not want” we are supposed to say “I have everything I need.”

The Christmas story has undergone some modernizing but one can hardly call it improved. The wondrous words “Fear not: for; behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy” has become, “Don’t be afraid! I am here with good news for you.”

The sponsors of the Good News version boast that their Bible is as readable as the daily paper – and so it is. But do readers of the daily news find themselves moved to wonder, “at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth”? Mr. Hanser suggests that sadly the “tinkering & general horsing around with the sacred texts will no doubt continue” as pious drudges try to get it right. “It will not dawn on them that it has already been gotten right.”

This is Ronald Reagan. Thanks for listening.

The Classless Left: Exhibit ST for Stacy Trasancos

…..and no, I am not calling Stacy Trasancos a classless lefty — but rather those attacking her.

This is Stacy Trasancos. This is her Blog.

Stacy is a former Baptist, turned Catholic. But, I won’t hold it against her. 😉

Stacy wrote a blog posting basically venting her frustration with gays. Because of this, the ugly left and ugly gays unleashed on her. See here and Here. Also, read the comments on that blog posting, some of them are threatening in nature. 😡 So, much for that New Tone we keep hearing about eh? 🙄

As I’ve wrote on here before; I don’t consider myself the greatest field service rep for Christianity. But I stand behind those who dare to say; “ya know? This is just flipping wrong…”

Hang in there Stacy. We’re with ya Lady! … God Bless You.

Proving what I have believed about the left for a very long time; well, since blogging from 2006 on. That the left in this Country does not believe in freedom of speech or thought. That is because they are straight up fascists. Which is why I left, the left, like some other people I know.

Keep this in mind in 2012, will you please?

Interesting: Ralph Nader says there will a Liberal Challenge to Obama in 2012

This is interesting….

Via Washington Times:

President Obama’s smooth path to the Democratic nomination may have gotten rockier Monday, after a group of liberal leaders, including former presidential candidate Ralph Nader, announced plans to challenge the incumbent in primaries next year.

The group said the goal is to offer up a handful of candidates from various fields and areas where the president either has failed to stake out a “progressive” position or where he has “drifted toward the corporatist right.”

“Without debates by challengers inside the Democratic Party’s presidential primaries, the liberal/majoritarian agenda will be muted and ignored,” Mr. Nader said in a news release. “The one-man Democratic primaries will be dull, repetitive, and draining of both voter enthusiasm and real bright lines between the two parties that excite voters.”

In search of candidates, Mr. Nader and the others sent out a letter, endorsed by 45 “distinguished leaders,”to elected officials, civic leaders, academics and members of the progressive community who specialize among other things in labor, poverty, military and foreign policy. The list, they said, also includes progressive Democrats who have held national and state office and have fought for progressive reforms.

But whatever for? Is he not the man of “Hope and Change?”

Perhaps not… This article from CNSNEWS explains why there will be a challenge from the left:

(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama’s job approval among liberals tied its all-time low in the Gallup poll last week, according to survey data released today.

In the seven-day period that ended on Sept. 18, only 68 percent of liberals told Gallup they approved of the way Obama was handling his job as president. The president’s job approval among liberals had previously dropped to 68 percent in the week that ended on Aug. 28. (However, it then rebounded slightly, rising to 71 percent in the week that ended on Sept. 4, before dropping to 69 percent in the week that ended on Sept. 11.)

As recently as the week that ended May 22, 2011, Obama’s approval in the Gallup poll had been at 81 percent among liberals.

Obama’s approval among liberals hit a high of 92 percent in the Gallup poll in the week that ended on May 10, 2009.

The fact of the matter is this; you cannot run a campaign, making all of the “Pie in the sky” promises that Obama made in 2008 and then turn around and get into office and break all of those promises. Obama said he would do “a 360” on all of Bush’s polices and he has continued to use those polices and even in some situations has increased Bush’s polices.  Republicans, as in the formally registered kind and party supporters — tend to be very loyal people, for the most part. Democrats and Independents; and yes, even the American people in General — as I have wrote on here before — tend to be very fickle with their support. Most usually, Conservative Republicans tend to be very loyal, unless corruption is happening, as in the case of Nixon.

The new trend, however, with the advent of New Media, Social Media and so forth; is that people are much better and much more quickly informed on the goings on in politics. In other words, it is having the effect of keeping the people in Washington D.C. honest. Anthony Wiener being a perfect example. Another example is Detroit’s now former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Neither of those two scandals would have ever happened back in the 1980’s. That is because we did not have that sort of technology in those days. The effect it is having on the President is, that people know what is going on in Washington D.C. usually not long after it happens and it changes perceptions of the President rather quickly. Which makes, I’m told, pollsters want to pull their hair out!

So, in closing; Obama going to be challenged and his poll numbers are dropping. Whole New Media and Social Media might be a factor in causing that; the only person Obama can blame — is himself.

I always knew Tucker Carlson was a bow-tie wearing a-hole

But now, I really know it.

Click Here and Here to see what I am talking about.

Allow me to share a personal story about Mr. Carlson, so you can know just what kind of asshole he really is; I once e-mailed Tucker Carlson about posting Op-Eds over there on the Daily Caller. Just my take on politics and current events. He told me, that he wanted to see a sample of my writing. I pointed him, with link to some of my special comments, he says, “Oh that’s nice, but I am looking for your actual writings and not blog postings.” That is how stupid Tucker Carlson is. He does not know that blog postings, even ones with all original writings, are still writings!

The truth is, I am a nobody in this blogosphere; and because of that, Tucker gave me the brush off. Typical of a elitist prick like him. Not that he is obligated to print anything I write, but a little more common sense, and a bit more respect would have been nice. But, as I could see, I was not going to get it from him.

Let me also clue you in on something, there were some, who were touting Tucker’s new site as the Conservative Huffington Post. Please, don’t make me laugh, The Daily Caller is nothing more than a really, really, fancy WordPress blog; that has had a lot and I mean, a lot of money dumped into it to make it look like Huffington Post. Huffington Post, on the other hand; is running some very expensive blogging somewhere. I believe it is the same software that TMZ.com runs, if I am not mistaken.

Another thing too; Dan, stop kissing Tucker’s ass, okay? Tucker’s not going to bother suing anyone. From what I hear, he could not afford it anyhow. The Daily Caller is not, say, Fox News/News Corp; so, it is not like their money is growing on trees or anything.

In closing, Tucker Carlson is a smart mouthed, elitist prick, who’s really into The Daily Caller for the money. He is trying to measure up to his  Daddy; who is very wealthy and very much a successful man; same goes for his Mom as well. Before anyone says anything about me having grudge against wealthy people; I have none at all. I admire people, who start with absolutely nothing and find something that they are successful at, and work at it and make a fortune at it. Perfect Example, Swanson Foods.

The type of people who get up my nose, are these people who come from a background of wealth, like Tucker Carlson; who run around with their noses in the air and act like they are better than everyone else and act like the World owes them something. You know, the, “I’m wealthy, now kiss my ring..” (or worse…) attitude. Those are the one’s that I cannot stand; because they have done nothing to earn that wealth. We have a ton of those types, up in the northern suburbs of Detroit.  I like to call them “Penny Millionaires.”  They live in them Million Dollar “McMansions” and drive their Daddy-bought BMW’s and wear their daddy-bought suits, shop at the summerset collection and act like they are something. Those are the ones that I cannot stand.

More class warfare: Obama wants more out of the job creating millionaries

Yeeeesh,….. No wonder they want Obama just to clock out of the 2012 election; it could be because of stupidity like this:

WASHINGTON — President Obama on Monday will call for a new minimum tax rate for individuals making more than $1 million a year to ensure that they pay at least the same percentage of their earnings as middle-income taxpayers, according to administration officials.

With a special joint Congressional committee starting work to reach a bipartisan budget deal by late November, the proposal adds a new and populist feature to Mr. Obama’s effort to raise the political pressure on Republicans to agree to higher revenues from the wealthy in return for Democrats’ support of future cuts from Medicare and Medicaid.

Mr. Obama, in a bit of political salesmanship, will call his proposal the “Buffett Rule,” in a reference to Warren E. Buffett, the billionaire investor who has complained repeatedly that the richest Americans generally pay a smaller share of their income in federal taxes than do middle-income workers, because investment gains are taxed at a lower rate than wages.

Mr. Obama will not specify a rate or other details, and it is unclear how much revenue his plan would raise. But his idea of a millionaires’ minimum tax will be prominent in the broad plan for long-term deficit reduction that he will outline at the White House on Monday.

via Obama Tax Plan Would Ask More of Millionaires – NYTimes.com.

But we are not supposed to call it class warfare? My question to the left is this; what the heck do you call it? The way the tax code is set up now, the Millionaires pay enough as it is.  As for the rest of us, we hardly pay any, if any at all. We get it all back, if you are making less than $250 grand a year, you get it all back. So, the idea that the middle class is being taxed to death, is a bunch of bull. — and don’t hand me that stupid story about buffet paying less than his personal secretary okay? Because it is a crock of crap.  Update: Confirmed! (h/t Ed Morrissey)

I can assure of this, if Obama does not pull out, as they are saying he should; and he tries to run this Millionaire tax, he will get trounced in the election. Because you cannot continue to kick the people risk everything and start a business, square in the balls and continue to be President — it just does not happen, period.

Obama will figure this out, one way or another. Either before he does start his serious run for President coming 2012 or when he is defeated in 2012 and sitting in Chicago — sulking about losing the election.

Wow: Steve Chapman at Chi-Town Tribune says Obama should withdraw from 2012 election

I’m with Ed Morrissey hereWow. 😯

When Ronald Reagan ran for re-election in 1984, his slogan was “Morning in America.” For Barack Obama, it’s more like midnight in a coal mine.

The sputtering economy is about to stall out, unemployment is high, his jobs program may not pass, foreclosures are rampant and the poor guy can’t even sneak a cigarette.

His approval rating is at its lowest level ever. His party just lost two House elections — one in a district it had held for 88 consecutive years. He’s staked his future on the jobs bill, which most Americans don’t think would work.

The vultures are starting to circle. Former White House spokesman Bill Burton said that unless Obama can rally the Democratic base, which is disillusioned with him, “it’s going to be impossible for the president to win.” Democratic consultant James Carville had one word of advice for Obama: “Panic.”

But there is good news for the president. I checked the Constitution, and he is under no compulsion to run for re-election. He can scrap the campaign, bag the fundraising calls and never watch another Republican debate as long as he’s willing to vacate the premises by Jan. 20, 2013.

Rather interesting, I would expect this from the right; but from the left? Color me very surprised.

Axelrod to Pundits: Chill out…

Wow, talk about being disconnected from reality! 😯

David Axelrod, the political message guru who has been at Barack Obama’s side since he was an Illinois state senator, has a message for the Sunday show pundits, sky-is-falling Democrats and chortling Republicans: Chill out.

President Obama’s re-election campaign, smarting from days of doom-saying, sent out a memo from Mr. Axelrod Friday morning, saying prognosticators busy burying any chance of an Obama Second Term don’t understand what’s really going on in the nation’s body politic. Sure, the president’s approval ratings are in dangerously low territory 14 months before the 2012 election. But Americans like his plan to create jobs and boost the economy. They trust Mr. Obama and like him.

And in politics, approval is relative, and relatively speaking a sour electorate disapproves of Republicans more than they disapprove of Mr. Obama.

Um, has Mr. Axelrod seen this here?

Out of touch, bunker mentality President and White House. Just like Bush was in 2006, when Iraq went sour.

Unreal. 🙄

Yeah Sure! — Palestinian officials say Jews welcome

How stupid do they really believe that the people of Israel really are? This stupid, I guess:

Palestinian officials are rolling out the welcome mat for Jews to come to a new Palestinian state.

Trying to tamp down a controversy over whether a Palestinian state would be Jew-free, Mahmoud Habbash, the Palestinian minister of religious affairs, said a future state would be open to people of all religions, including Jews.

“The future Palestinian state will be open to all its citizens, regardless of their religion,” Habbash said, according to USA Today. “We want a civil state, which in it live all the faiths, Muslim, Christian and Jews also if they agree, (and) accept to be Palestinian citizens.”

Maen Areikat, the Palestine Liberation Organization’s ambassador to the United States, told POLITICO that his comments earlier this week which some interpreted as meaning Jews would not be welcome were misconstrued.

If you believe that bunch of ignorant nonsense, I have land to sell you cheap in Texas at a buck an acre.

Any Jew that is foolish enough to buy this sort of foolishness, deserves the very fate that befalls them.

These are the same bastards that attacked us on 9/11, they should never be trusted, ever. 😡

Cinton’s popularity causes buyers remorse with Obama

Man, no wonder Carville is flipping his cork!

The most popular national political figure in America today is one who was rejected by her own party three years ago: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Nearly two-thirds of Americans hold a favorable view of her and one-third are suffering a form of buyer’s remorse, saying the U.S. would be better off now if she had become president in 2008 instead of Barack Obama.

The finding in the latest Bloomberg National Poll shows a higher level of wishful thinking about a Hillary Clinton presidency than when a similar question was asked in July 2010. Then, a quarter of Americans held such a view.

“Looking back, I wonder if she would have been a stronger leader, knowing the games and the politics and all that goes on,” said Susan Dunlop, 50, a homemaker in New Port Richey, Florida. “I don’t think she would have bent as much.”

Clinton, 63, a former first lady and U.S. senator from New York, fought with Obama for the Democratic nomination until June 2008, in what was often a combative primary that included her questioning his presidential readiness.

I don’t know if she would have been any better than Obama or not. I doubt it. But you never know. Hillary is never getting back into politics again, ever. So, the Democrats need to move on and find someone with the name recognition to challenge him in the 2012 election. I doubt they will, because who would want to be the white person to challage him?

Either way, 2012 is going to be one very interesting year, to say the least.

How bad of a punchline has this Presidential Administration become?

This bad: (H/T AllahPundit)

It’s like I told James Carville, it’s a little late for panic. It is time to find someone else!
