Despite what Rush Limbaugh and what Max Fisher over at the Atlantic might be saying; the President is right to be sending troops in this region.Ā I will explain what I mean.Ā The Lord’s Resistance Army is not a group of Christian missionaries or anything of that sort; it is a group of terrorists, who maim and kill — all the while hiding behind some sort of perverted pseudo-Christian doctrine.
I realize that the Conservative Blogosphereās goal is to discredit this President and everything that he does.Ā However, in this case, the President, in fact, is taking the correct steps in stopping this crazed group of thugs from hurting any more people than they already have.Ā It was the right thing to do and we as Conservatives, who believe that no one should have to suffer at the hands of crazed tyrants, should be supporting the Presidentās action in this case.
I also understand that this group has been fighting against Muslims in the area, while I do not agree with the tenants of the Muslim faith.Ā I do not believe that the methods being used by the group are legal, sane, or even moral.Ā Furthermore, I believe the slaughter of innocent people, including the elderly is very an immoral act to commit.
I also realize that there are some, who are Conservative, might feel that the President is engaging in too many conflicts.Ā Let me say this, this is not an engagement for the protection of empire; this is an engagement for the cause of morality.Ā For many years, the United States of America has been the beacon of Democracy and for Christian morality throughout the entire World.Ā What this group is doing to the people of that region is vile and immoral; in the case, I believe it is the United States of Americaās responsibility to the insure that innocent people are no harmed any longer.
In closing: While this blog and its owner might disagree with the President’s domestic policy, I do wholeheartedly agree with the Presidentās decision to put a stop to the treachery that is taking place in this Country and to its people.Ā I commend the President for stepping up to the plate and insuring the protection of the citizens of Uganda.Ā It is my fervent hope and prayer, that the Lord’s Resistance Army is stopped from inflecting any more violence on innocent people.
This is not one of them.

Although, I would advise everyone to read the comments over at HotAir.com on this video. Seems the good doctor is not totally telling the truth here.
Exit Question: I just wonder, does this include little Jew babies too, Dr. Paul? Hmmmm? I ask this seeing that in the little newsletters, with your name on them — you referred to them in some very nasty ways. I also wonder if it includes little black babies too, seeing all of the nasty racist stuff you said about them too.
Sarcasm aside, this is my point: The problem with Ron Paul and his followers, is they believe that liberty only extends to the White Anglo-Saxon people of America; that is selective liberty and it is what America did for the first years of it’s founding, until Abraham Lincoln (A Republican!) put a stop to it and again in 1964, when we stopped the selective liberty process entirely.
Again, it is great video; but Ron Paul is not being totally honest as usual. š
As you all know, I am operating under a new set of rules now; so, I have to be very careful about how I word things now. Basically, I believe this below to be about Mitt Romney and less about the Tea Party. The problem with Romney, outside of being a flip-flopper, has his own set of problems, that Christian Conservatives, Republicans, and Tea Party people should be very worried about, and that my friends is not bigotry, it is the truth.
Scott Galupo writes:
I think the rest of the answer lies in the Tea Party itself.
About a year ago, I wondered whether the Tea Party was something to respect and/or fear, as it seemed to be throughout 2009 and into the 2010 primary season, or if it was “just a bloc of conventional conservatives in anti-authoritarian drag.”
Twelve months later, the question answers itself.
The Tea Party is/was composed primarily of religious conservatives, seniors worried about Obamacare’s impact on Medicare, and anti-immigrant curmudgeons. The libertarian ethos the movement projected was an utter fiction, and one that the national press corps briefly lent credence to.
In her Iowa speech last month, former Gov. Sarah Palin offered a fleeting glimpse of what the Tea Party was supposed to representāa transpartisan attack on the bosom buddies Big Government and Big Business. More recently, Conor Friedersdorf muses quixotically about what a potential Tea Party-Occupy Wall Street alliance would look like.
The problem is Tea Partyers, as conventional conservatives, were never intellectually prepared to deliver on this threat. There’d been talk about ending corporate welfare in Republican circles for years. The TARP bailouts added a powerful new ingredient to this critique.
But when it came down to it, what did Wall Street and corporate America ever have to fear from the Tea Party? Lower corporate taxes and regulatory rollback? Seriously?
If CEO types truly fear a freer free market, why do they constantly complain on the shout shows of being “handcuffed” by Washington? And for crying out loud, didn’t I watch the Tea Party movement go viral on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade?
The Tea Party, ultimately, had nothing new to say.
Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Herman Cain can take a measure of comfort in this fact when their candidacies eventually conclude.
via The Tea Party Was Just a Giant Temper Tantrum –Plugin Scott Galupo (usnews.com).
As for the Tea Party, I had wrote a while back that I was skeptical of the actual movement itself. The problem was that the Tea Party movement itself was co-opted by Republican operative organizations like freedomworks and the like. At that point, is when the grassroots stopped controlling the movement and the beltway crowd started controlling it.
As for his comments about Herman Cain; there are quit wrong, Herman Cain is the current frontrunner in the Primary race, and unless this guy is trying to be an underhanded racist, I believe his comment is way off. I mean it is bad enough, that we have liberal blacks attacking Herman Cain, now he has to be attacked from a so-called Conservative, from the right? I mean, the guy worked for freaking John Bonher, what does that tell you?
I will say this; if Herman Cain does eventually withdraw from the primary race; it will not be because he did not try. It will be because of the liberal controlled and owned media destroyed him and because of the Republican establishment, who still has not completely gotten over the days of Trent Lott and his ilk — simply refused to acknowledge him as a serious contender. I will also give a warning to the Republican establishment, if you reject Herman Cain and he does end up going back to Atlanta, you will never live it down. As the Liberal Media and the Democratic Party will never, ever let you live that down. It does not matter what the Liberal blacks did, that will never be brought up, but what will be brought up is how a white-controlled and financed political party, basically told a black CEO to “get real buckwheat.” and proceeded to try and discredit him. Trust me, it will happen, the left is just waiting for the outcome of the race.
It is a question that all Conservative, Republican and Tea Party voters need to know.
The Video of the Interview:
The Story via WorldNetDaily.com:
The daughter of a Mormon bishop who has abandoned her family’s faith claims in a new book the election of Mitt Romney to the presidency would put the U.S. in danger due to what she calls the Republican’s “outrageous,” “horrific” and “mind-controlling” beliefs.
“While he attempts to portray Mormonism as just another Christian religion, Mitt Romney counts on his skills to shift our attention away from what he truly believes,” says Tricia Erickson, author of “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America.”
“If the American people knew what he truly believed, they would surely not place him in the highest office in the land.”
Yet others, such as professor Richard Bushman, a Mormon and previous missionary himself who has taught at Harvard, Columbia and Brown Universities, are defending the faith. He calls Erickson “disillusioned” and someone who “instead of walking away felt an obligation to discredit [her] former faith.”
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the official name for Mormonism, has rocketed into the national consciousness this month since Rev. Robert Jeffress, a Rick Perry supporter who pastors the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, said Romney was “not a Christian” and that Mormonism is a “cult.”
“Part of a pastor’s job is to warn his people and others about false religions,” Jeffress said Sunday, standing by his controversial remarks. “Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Mormonism are all false religions.”
In her book, Erickson paints an unflattering picture of the Mormon faith, which counts not only the former Massachusetts governor as a member, but also fellow GOP presidential contender Jon Huntsman, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., radio talk-show host Glenn Beck, singer Gladys Knight, actresses Amy Adams and Katherine Heigl, “Napoleon Dynamite” actor Jon Heder, entertainers Donny and Marie Osmond, and sports stars including the NFL’s Steve Young, Danny White and Merlin Olsen.
Erickson goes on to expose the insane beliefs of the Mormons and tell about her horrifying experience in that cult:
Erickson says Romney believes:
He will become a “god” in the afterlife and be given his own planet
Satan is Jesus’ literal brother
Jesus was not born of a virgin birth
He will be given his own afterlife kingdom where he will have sexual relations with his wife, Ann, to populate his kingdom with spirit children as God the Father Himself has a wife on His own planet.
“Mormonism teaches we pre-existed on God the Father’s planet as spirit children before we were planted in our mother’s wombs,” Erickson told WND. “And the reason why we’re here according to Mormonism, is so that we can work out our own progression to godhood and our own planets themselves.”
The author, who herself was married in a Mormon temple at age 19 but now considers herself a non-denominational Christian, says there’s a secret agenda Mormon officials don’t like to talk about publicly.
“A complete takeover of the government,” she said. “They have more people in the CIA, the FBI. They have an employment office for Mormons in D.C. to be able to infiltrate them into the government.”
“They’ve been trying since the beginning to get someone in the presidency, because they believe they have to establish their authority so when Jesus comes to Earth, the Mormon Church will take control of the government and the Mormons will be the government of God on Earth,” she continued.
Erickson says her main concern is that the leader of the free world have the ability to discern fact from fiction.
“It may be crucial to our survival,” she said. “If his beliefs are distorted, which they unequivocally are, why would it not be be critical to our existence to protect our country from being placed in the hands of such a person?”
When asked for specific rituals she considers bizarre, Erickson claims Romney and other Mormons take part in clandestine marriage ceremonies involving “outrageous” customs. Explaining her own Mormon wedding, she says she was forced to completely disrobe against her will.
“It was horrific,” she told WND. “There I was standing naked. They brought this bowl of water, and started washing my body down and whispering prayers over my body. They stopped over the right and left breast, the navel and knees and prayed specific prayers.”
To help ensure the general public did not learn details of the rituals, she says believers took a symbolic knife to feign their own murder if members spilled the beans of what really goes on behind closed doors.
“They actually had us slashing our guts open and our guts falling to the ground if we told people of the secret dogma of the ceremonies,” Erickson said.
“Mitt is not a casual Mormon,” she told online interviewer Thom Hartmann, noting Romney has reached the upper echelons of the faith. “There is no way that he will be able to not listen to the [Mormon] prophet. His eternal salvation depends on it. He has to put the church first over country.”
Here is a video that also shows what Mormon’s truly believe:

As much as I would like to say that this is the first time that I have heard this; it is not, this young lady is not the only person to have told stories like this about the Mormon Cult. Another well-known author, speaker and former Mormon, Ed Decker has exposed the Mormon cult for what it truly is.
Here is Ed Decker’s testimony of how he came out of the Mormon Cult:

Here is another very, very, interesting radio program with Ed Decker. It is about the Free Masons and the founding of America. The Free Masons and the Mormon Church are joined at the hip. Please listen to this, you will find it very interesting. The show is from the early 1990’s, I believe anyhow. The show and the ministry which Ed appeared on went bankrupt in the 1990’s and went off the air. Ironically, the host’s wife died of cancer; she was diagnosed, not long after this show was broadcast.

The next book that I very highly recommend, is actually a comic book. It is a part of the “Crusader’s” series of Comic by a man, who I have much respect for; his name is Jack Chick:
Click here to read a sample of this hard hitting comic!
Here is the comic that I recommend that ALL Republicans, Conservatives and Tea Party people read:
I also recommend that all Christians, Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Party folk read this pamphlet here.
I also recommend you buy the Book of the person referenced above:
I also recommend the following books on the subject too:
Republicans need to know the truth; this is the way to it.
Thanks for reading.
Way I see it, if the man cannot handle criticism, he ought not hold the office.
Here’s the video clip via the Blaze:
Here’s the Romney response via Mitt Romney’s campaign manager:
I admit it, and I have written here as such; I am not a Mitt Romney fan in the least. However, I find this to be quite a amusing, Mr. President insecure is now going after Romney. I think voters should look long and hard at this, when voting in November 2012.
The man that the GOP needs to pick, is Herman Cain:
You are a #OccupyWallStreet protester and you are a confirmed leftist — all down with Mao and all that. Is this who you want being your spokesman?
The Occupy Wall Street movement is getting sympathy from an unlikely person: Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
The 2008 GOP presidential nominee said he understands the growing protest movementās concerns over Washington bailouts of major financial institutions.
āDown in Arizona today, Maricopa County has the highest number of homes underwater of any place in this country,ā he told reporters Wednesday. āAnd itās disgraceful that we took care of the financial institutions, and we did nothing about the housing crisis. So I understand their frustration.ā
He later quipped that he may be the āonlyā Republican does.
via John McCain feels protesters’ pain – On Congress – POLITICO.com.
No John, we should have not taken care of either. We should have let the banks fail, that were failing and we should have not messed with the housing market either; as both would have corrected themselves. This proves that which I and many others like me have believed for years, that John McCain is nothing more than a two-bit big government conservative or as we call them, Republican in Name Only or RINO.
Others: Weasel Zippers, The Gateway Pundit and Michelle Malkin
Firstly, let me say that I do not believe that all of the protesters of this little movement actually believe that which is in this video, because that is collectivism and I do not play that game.Ā However, I happen to find quit ironic that the very people who wanted to lecture we Conservatives on the supposed āNew-Toneā, all the while calling anyone who disagrees with their liberalism terrorists — are now talking about violent revolution.
Let me also say this; there are many out there in the Conservative/Republican/Tea Party that would happily give them what they want. Ā I hope like the dickens that it never, ever comes to that, but I will tell you, there many who would be willing and able to use violence against those who would try to take what is rightly theirs to start.
Here is the video that comes via HotAir.com:
Again, I believe this is simply the opinion of one person.Ā However, if it is the growing feeling among this people; I do truly fear for what happen in this Country in the future.

Remember this thing that I submitted to? Well, it turns out that Mr. “Slander anyone who disagrees with me”; Erick Erickson started it. Needless to say, this guy is a big time tool. Let’s just say I have personal experience with him.
The phrase “work three jobs” appears frequently in stories about economic malaise. It generally refers to people whom are underemployed and working many labor-intensive, low-benefit, low-paying jobs in order to pay their bills and get by. Of course, part of the reason it comes up so much is that the economy is so bad that there really are a large number of people working multiple jobs to pay their bills and still struggling.
Conservatives, seeking to dampen the message of the “We are the 99 Percent” message put forth by the Occupy Wall Street protesters, started a tumblr of their own titled “We are the 53 percent.” While the 99 percent refers to the overwhelming majority of Americans who have watched government prop up financial institutions while taking half-measures to help ordinary citizens through a punishing recession, the “53 percent” refers to the percentage of Americans who pay federal income taxes, the implication being that those Americans who don’t make enough money to pay income taxes are scofflaws living lives of lavish comfort. People who don’t pay federal income taxes nevertheless pay other kinds of taxes, state taxes, payroll taxes, and the like, but why get bogged down in the details when you’re trying to portray half the country as a bunch of shiftless freeloaders?
Conservative blogger Erick Erickson, in the tumblr’s first post interprets the “work three jobs” thing somewhat differently than we’ve seen it used before
via Conservative Pundit Says, “Get a Job Hippies!” | Mother Jones.
Needless to say, had I known it was ran by that insolent jerk; I would have never bothered. By the way, I still have the option of suing the living crap out of all of the parties involved with my slandering; I spoke with a lawyer friend of mine and he said, I have a solid case. All I have to do, is file the paperwork needed and get the process started and let me tell you, when it comes to this guy and the other people involved — discovery is going to be a bitch for them.
In closing, let me just say, that I am one of the 53% of America. But Erick Erickson, does not speak for me; not in the least.
This does not look good at all. š
FBI and DEA agents have disrupted a plot to commit a “significant terrorist act in the United States” tied to Iran, federal officials told ABC News today.
The officials said the plot included the assassination of the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States, Adel Al-Jubeir, with a bomb and subsequent bomb attacks on the Saudi and Israeli embassies in Washington, D.C. Bombings of the Saudi and Israeli embassies in Buenos Aires, Argentina, were also discussed, according to the U.S. officials.
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in an announcement today that the plan was “conceived, sponsored and was directed from Iran” by a faction of the government and called it a “flagrant” violation of U.S. and international law.
“The U.S. is committed to holding Iran accountable for its actions,” Holder said. He said the White House will be meeting with federal agencies before announcing “further action” in regards to Iran.
FBI Director Robert Mueller said the arrest of a suspect in the plot shows the U.S. will “bring the full weight of [the] law to bear on those responsible” and that “any attempts on American soil will not be tolerated.”
The stunning allegations come against a backdrop of longstanding tensions between Iran and the United States and Saudi Arabia. In the last year, Saudi Arabia has attempted to build an anti-Iran alliance to push back against perceived aggression by Iran in the region.
via U.S. Says Iran-Tied Terror Plot in Washington, D.C. Disrupted – ABC News.
This basically proves my point; that Bush did not do enough after 9/11. If Bush had acted like a real President and not like a wet rag after 9/11, we would not have this sort of troubles. Although, I will admit; I have sneaky feeling that this might spark some sort of Military action. Although, I do not believe it will be of the scale and scope of the War in Iraq.
Ed Morrissey, of whom I respect, says this:
If true, would that not be an act of war?Ā Weāre presently using drones in Pakistan and Yemen against al-Qaeda terrorist networks for plotting similar attacks, thanks to the AUMF from October 2001, even though weāre nominally allied with both nations.Ā If the government of Iran plotted attacks on American targets, that should require a response from the US, should it not ā or do we send a signal that even attacks from actual nation-states fall under the rubric of law enforcement?
[…]
If weāre charging an official of the Iranian government with complicity or worse in this plot, then it ceases to be a law enforcement issue and becomes a military and political issue instead.Ā This isnāt a case of espionage but of sabotage or worse, which would be an act of war by anyoneās definition.Ā If weāre not willing to respond in kind, we then send a signal to hostile nation-states around the world that attacks on the US are low-risk, high-reward affairs ā and weād better get ready for an avalanche of them.
There are some who would say, “Oh, he is just being a Neoconservative!” That might be so, but he is being a Neoconservative, who happens to be right. Ron Paul and ilk are just dead wrong. when it comes to Iran, Islam and the war on terror. They might have a point on Nation Building; but on this sort of thing, Ron Paul and his mindless followers are simply wrong.
Not a big shock:
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, just one week after definitively announcing he will not run for president in the 2012 race, plans to endorse Mitt Romney for the job Tuesday afternoon, Fox News has learned.
The event is set to take place in Hanover, N.H., just hours before the Republican candidates gather for a debate nearby at Dartmouth College. In securing the support of Christie, Romney will have at his side a tough-talking governor who during his two years in office has built a reputation as a fiscal hawk not shy about taking on the public employee unions.
The former Massachusetts governor is enlisting Christie at a time when his front-runner status is once again being challenged. Romney saw his lead slip after Texas Gov. Rick Perry jumped into the race in August. Perry has since fallen back in the polls, but businessman Herman Cain broke through to within a few points of Romney in several recent national polls.
via Christie To Endorse Romney Ahead Of GOP Debate | Fox News.
I say it is not a huge shock, because Christi is a moderate, as is Romney. I also believe that Christi is looking at electability as well.
I saw this news item here; and went to the site to put in a submission. I doubt the owner will approve it. But, it was worth a shot.
Here is the submission:
My name is Charles Patrick Adkins and I am 39 years old.Ā I am from Lincoln Park, Michigan.Ā I am a full-time blogger.Ā I started back in 2006, as a āhalf heartedā left of center blogger and writer.Ā I was totally anti-Bush and Anti-Iraq war.Ā As I continued to blog, I began to see what the Democratic Party had become; which is much different from the Democratic Party of the FDR or even LBJ or JFK era.
On December 22, 2006, my blog was hacked and I lost it all.Ā I had over a yearās worth of writing on that blog.Ā I could have quit and I really thought about doing just that; but I did not.Ā By the time this happened, I had decided that the Democratic Party was no the party that I wished to associated with as a supporter.Ā So, a few days later, on December 28, 2006; I started Political Byline on Blogger. All I had was an older computer and quite a bit of time on my hands. Ā For three solid years, I wrote for next to nothing; luckily, I live with my folks, so I had some support.Ā However, I was doing what I loved.
My political beliefs have changed a good deal.Ā The occupy Wall Street demonstration stupidity is a perfect example of why I no longer vote Democratic Party.Ā Not because I am some kind of a racist, or even rich person —-heck, I do not have any capital invested in my blog at all.Ā However, I do blog to defend the business people.Ā The main issue with the Democratic Party and their friends occupying Wall Street is that they fault financial success and I am sorry to say is just morally wrong.Ā Tell me, since when is being a success at what you do — whether it be financial, personal or whatever —- a crime?
To be honest, I do not even have a business license yet, I just do not make enough to file tax reports.Ā I would like to be able to do that; but, one-step at a time.Ā I have made enough to reward myself with the occasional steak on the grill.Ā However, with me; it is all about doing what I love to do and that is write and express my feelings, without fear of going to jail — that my friends is beauty of America.Ā The way I see it is this, if I happen to start making enough to form a corporation and file taxes, all the better for me!
Again, as I have said on my blog, many times; for me, it is not about āLeft or Rightā it is about right or wrong —- and the Democratic Party and their Occupy Wall Street friends are simply wrong, as is their leader President Barack Obama, this is why his polices have failed for the last three and a half years.Ā This is also, why he most likely will not be reelected in 2012.
Thanks for reading!

BIG UPDATE! Before you go and submit anything! Please GO READ THIS HERE!
Insty calls this CHUTZPAH.
Al-Qaedaās affiliate in Yemen has confirmed the deaths of American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan, the young American propagandist killed alongside him in a U.S. drone strike late last month.
Al-Qaeda has also criticized the Obama administration for killing U.S. citizens, saying doing so ācontradictsā American law.
āWhere are what they keep talking about regarding freedom, justice, human rights and respect of freedoms?!ā the statement says, according to a translation by SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadist Web sites.
The Obama administration has spoken in broad terms about its authority to use military and paramilitary force against al-Qaeda and associated forces, and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula would find itself hard-pressed to claim the moral high ground in the debate over the killing of Awlaki and Khan.
This is not Chutzpah, this is just blind arrogance.
Just think, the people that did this here:
Which caused this to happen:
they also did this:
and this:
…and they want to lecture us about “freedom, justice, human rights and respect of freedoms”… š”
My friends, this goes well beyond some Yiddish word for arrogance, gall, or nerve.Ā This backward thinking is shared by the liberal left in this Country.Ā In case anyone that happens to read this blog has forgotten, Al-Qaeda killed 2,977 of our citizens and injured over 6,000 of our citizens.Ā This was an act of war and should have been treated more so, than it was by President Bush.Ā What happened that day was on par with Pearl Harbor and should have resulted in the internment of all Arab citizens in this Country.Ā What that day should have resulted in, was the suspending of the United States Constitution and an change to the first amendment by executive order; outlawing Islam in America forever, as a political philosophy and not a valid religion and the closing of all Mosques in this Country.Ā What happened on that day; should have resulted in the deporting off all Muslims out of the United States forever and Arabs be given a choice, either embrace an American religion or leave.Ā However, because of the weakness of Bush or a desire to please all, President George W. Bush chose the easiest path possible.
My friends, 9/11 is a living testament to the fact that Multiculturalism does not, in fact work.Ā It is a lesson that the Far-Right people’s party in Switzerland is learning now, before it is too late.Ā America did not learn that lesson on 9/11; we simply went after just one group, instead of the entire flock of them.Ā This was the great mistake of America and is one that America will have live with for the rest of its existence.Ā If you think, that Muslims will not attack America again, you a very highly mistaken.Ā September 11, 2001 was the opening salvo in a war that will continue until the day that America realizes that Islam and its followers are not friends of America and will eventually destroy us from within, if we allow it.
The question is will we allow it?
Okay, this is where I have to object. This is not a good article, this is crap. unsourced, yellow journalistic crap.
The reports are not good, disturbing even. I have heard basically the same story four times in the last 10 days, and the people doing the talking are in New York and Washington and are spread across the political spectrum.
The gist is this: President Obama has become a lone wolf, a stranger to his own government. He talks mostly, and sometimes only, to friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett and to David Axelrod, his political strategist.
Everybody else, including members of his Cabinet, have little face time with him except for brief meetings that serve as photo ops. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner both have complained, according to people who have talked to them, that they are shut out of important decisions.
The presidentās workdays are said to end early, often at 4 p.m. He usually has dinner in the family residence with his wife and daughters, then retreats to a private office. One person said he takes a stack of briefing books. Others arenāt sure what he does.
If the reports are accurate, and I believe they are, they paint a picture of an isolated man trapped in a collapsing presidency. While there is no indication Obama is walking the halls of the White House late at night, talking to the portraits of former presidents, as Richard Nixon did during Watergate, the reports help explain his odd public remarks
via President Obama growing isolated from his own administration – NYPOST.com.
Mr. Goodwin, when you start citing your sources and actually print something that has a shred of credibility, you will get my respect; until then, you are just another Rupert Murdoch stooge, who prints gossip garbage for that news corp propaganda rag you write for.
I am not a fan of the President of the United States or his polices at all. However, I have a problem with this sort of stupid yellow journalism. It does nothing to lend credibility of the Conservative movement. When I see names cited in a report like this; I will believe it. Until then, it is just another idiot’s opinion of the President; that is being treated as gospel truth about the President.
Examples of what I speak: Pajamas Media, neo-neocon, The Moderate Voice, The Hinterland Gazette, The Strata-Sphere, Sister Toldjah and Hot Air
I am sure, I will catch sand for saying this; but,I just do not care. My point is this; let’s keep the criticism of the President of the United States to factual information and leave the gossip nonsense to the National Enquirer.
This is not much of a surprise, but it is news:
Via WorldNetDaily:
Barack Obama may have 15 months left in his first term, but his supporters in Congress are already preparing for the day heāll be an ex-president by introducing legislation that will allow him to keep his personal and presidential documents secret.
According to Judicial Watch, the Washington-based government corruption fighting organization, the proposal by Rep. Edolphus Towns of New York’s 10th District is “an obvious effort to protect President Barack Obama.”
“Ironically, Obama revoked a similar George W. Bush order in one of his first official acts as president. In 2001, Bush penned an executive order severely limiting public access to his presidential records. Shortly after swearing in, Obama killed it as part of his much-ballyhooed commitment to government transparency. At the time, the new president claimed that he was giving the American people greater access to ‘historic documents,'” Judicial Watch said.
“If the Democrats’ proposed measure (Presidential Records Act Amendments) becomes law, former presidents will be allowed to assert a new ‘constitutionally based privilege’ against disclosing records of their liking. Here is how it would work; the archivist of the United States would be required to notify the former president, as well as the incumbent, of intentions to make records public. Anything that either the former or current president claims should be kept private won’t be released,” the organization explained.
How ironic; the very President, who threw President Bush privacy under the bus, is now trying to protect his own skin; and with all of the scandal that is slowing trickling out of the White House, I do not think anyone should be shocked over this at all.
Debbie shares their letter to a Berkley professor:
Dear Asāad,
I have to say that I am disappointed. Not only was you class one of my favoriteās at UCB, but I even talked up your blog to Josh in prison, and frequently pointed people to it before our arrest.
You say you āheardā that Josh Fattal is an Israeli. Where did you hear this patently false information? Josh is Jewish, not Israeli. People have also said that I, a corn-fed boy from rural Minnesota, am Jewish.
Sarah too. We are not. . . .Why do people assume that because Josh is Jewish, he is Israeli . . .? Josh is NOT Israeli. Joshās father is Israeli. Josh is American. . . .
The US engages in āimperialist feminismā. . . . The US government has been on a path of destruction in the Middle East for the past 60-70 years. . . .
Iran arrested the wrong people and they knew it all along. Neither our guards nor our investigators would go so far as to call us spies. None of us are spies. We are the opposite of spies. I have studied Arabic (which I speak fluently) and have spent years in the Arab world with the purpose of exposing injustice, especially but not exclusively the injustices of the US government. Before our arrest, I published a piece in the Nation about a previously unknown US backed death squad titled āIraqās New Death Squadā and another in Mother Jones magazine called āSheikh Downā about US military corruption and use of militias in Iraq. Check these out if you need some evidence of our integrity. . . .
I insist that you correct your factual errors. Josh is not Israeli. Josh is a Jew and Josh is an anti-Zionist.
The voices of nuanced analysis are sadly few, especially in this county [DS: sic]. You have been one of those voices to me. . . .
Sincerely,
Shane Bauer
Holy cats! We let those haters out of Iran? My goodness. Should have let them rot in prison. š”
God Bless this Woman for having the courage to stand for Christian Morals. I admit it, the idea of her being President, after abruptly leaving office in Alaska was not a good idea. However, I do admire the woman for having the courage to stand against the liberals and take the punishment from the left — and also from people on the right, like me, who thought she should not be President. I think Palin will be a player for a very long time. As I wrote before, I also think she should run for Senate. Then, maybe President in 2016. She has a good message, she just needs to build a resume.
The Story:
During a speech focusing on faith and family, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin called for the ārestoration of Americaā during the Extraordinary Women Conference at Liberty University in Lynchburg Saturday.
Palinās 90-minute speech veered from stories about moose hunting to Tea Party politics to the challenge of raising a son with Down syndrome. Her message centered on the importance of having faith in God and steering America āback on the right track.ā
āNow isnāt the time to retreat, now is the time to reload with truth so we can fight for this country and reload for America,ā she said to more than 10,000 Christian women who traveled from across the country to hear her speak.
The theme for the evangelical Christian womenās conference was āextraordinary hope,ā and Palin quipped:
āIām talking about real hope, not that hopey changey stuff that some politicians try to get you go believe in.ā
The visit was Palinās first to Liberty, and hotels across the region sold out for the event.
via Palin says it’s time to “reload for America” | The News & Advance.
Of course, you know that the liberal media; who lives under the whole “Eeek! Guns!” mentality will blast her for using gun phrasing. But real Americans, like me, know what she is talking about — which is why I run this blog and have ran it for 5 years with little or not pay at all. (in the beginning, there was NO pay, at all.)Ā Because I love this Country, Because I very highly disagree with what the President is doing with this Country, because I want this Country to be what it was, when I was kid. That is why I — we are here, and a wake up call to the liberal left — we are not going away either. You may try and stop us; but we true Americans — are not going anywhere.
Update: Two things I find link worthy.
First this, from the crawdad hole:
I guess the people like Andy Sullivan and his ilk are gonna be unhappy, because Sarah apparently has no intention of going away. I have to wonder what would have happened if they had just left her alone when she first went back to Alaska after the 2008 elections.
I happen to agree with that. Sully is was way too harsh on her and still is; I can understand wanting to get to the truth; but he has a very unnatural obsession with destroying her. It was terrible. I think it has more to do with her Christianity, than anything else.
Secondly, a rare occurrence here on political byline. I am going to disagree with a fellow Conservative blogger.
William A. Jacobson writes:
I think thereās a lot of truth there.Ā Palin frequently is depicted as someone who sought out the spotlight and was a publicity hound, but the reality is that circumstances found her, not the other way around.
What if Palin had been allowed toĀ function as Governor without the relentless attacks from the likes of Andrew Sullivan, various anti-Palin bloggers, the media, establishment Republicans, and frequent-filers of frivolous ethics complaints?
Attacking Palin became an industry, and when she fought back she was blamed.Ā The derangement started the day she was designated by John McCain as the VP nominee, and it continues to this day from smallĀ people like David Frum.
PalinĀ Ā didnāt bring it on herself, but having found herself in the cross-hairs, she fought back.Ā Good on her.
This is where I must disagree. Well, partially. The part I underlined and turned red is the part that I disagree with. Let me explain myself, least a blog war break out; and believe me, I really do not want that! šÆ Anyhow, there were times, when Sarah Palin, to use a phrase, shot herself in the foot. Mainly it had to do with messaging. Now, whether that was Sarah Palin’s fault or not; is another story. I believe a good amount of that was due to her poor handling in the beginning, by the McCain campaign and by the people who were originally advising her after the 2008 campaign.
The good thing is, that now, Palin has some very good people, giving her some very good advice — and it shows, greatly.
Before anyone flips their cork —- That is a rhetorical question.
Remember the Antisemitism that I wrote about at the #OccupyWallStreet protests?
Well, it seems now; that a very well known Conservative Jewish Blogger is being called a “Fake Jew”; by one of her own people, who happens to be a liberal Democrat.
This is about as bad, as the video I posted earlier, of Herman Cain being berated by a liberal white man.
Let me give you a reality check; it is the same mentality. You wander off the plantation; whether it is the black liberal plantation or the Jewish liberal camp plantation —- you do this, and they attack you, with both barrels.
It is the same mentality of Adolf Hitler. One of, “you either submit to our mindset, or we destroy you.” Only difference is, liberals cannot round up Blacks and Jews and put them in camps.
I do not know where to begin with this video.
First, Lawrence OāDonnell tries to accuse Herman Cain of draft dodging. Then, he accuses him of various idiot things. Not to mention the “Citizen Cain” in the Chyron at the bottom of the screen.Ā Not to mention the whole condescending tone of the entire video.
There is only one thing that comes to my mind, when watching these videos — Racism. š”
I mean, could you just imagine, if a Fox News Channel anchor had handled an interview like this, with a black man? There would be protests outside of the News Corp. Building, Fox News Channels studios in New York, and Al Sharpton would be calling for Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch’s head!
Here are the videos, all three parts. You watch these video and you tell me, if they are not racist or not.
Via Mediaite:

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
Again, watch the videos and think about if Fox News or any other Conservative outlet sounded this condescending or used “Citizen Cain” as a Chyron. What could the reaction be? I think we all know the answer.
Nothing pisses me off worse, than to watch a privileged white man, who happens to be a liberal; berate a black man, all because he happens to disagree with his politics. That is an outrage and if the Conservative media, including Fox News Channel, ever pulled a stunt like that, there would be riots in the streets. But because Mr. Herman Cain is a Conservative black man — it is perfectly fine. Hell, even this self-hating black man thinks its fine. What an asshole, what a traitor to the back race — sort of like this Murdering, race-hustling, jack ass, who is now dead.
This is another fine reason why I stopped voting for the Democrats, because it is like LBJ said himself:
I’ll have them niggers voting for democrats for 300 years!
…and you know what? The Democrats are keeping ’em voting Democratic Party; with hand outs and yes, with Brainwashing.
Update: Even the liberals at DailyKos are not happy with the interview: (H/T Flopping Aces)
1) When you think of Herman Cain, do you ever find yourself thinking, āgee, he was a black teen in the early-1960s. Why didnāt he participate in civil rights movement?ā Iām not an African-American and wasnāt alive in the ā60s, but so what if he didnāt? I am not sure what the implication is there, but was it incumbent upon ever African-American to march? And does not participating in the civil rights movement imply ā¦ what? I suppose it might be a fairer question to ask a white person who was around in that era, but only slightly.
Iām going to go out on a limb and presume that Herman Cain was opposed to segregation.
2) Out of nowhere, OāDonnell asked Cain, who worked (but did not serve) in the Navy, whether he was qualified to be Commander-in-Chief after not serving in Vietnam. Really?! Is this still a thing? I have a hard time believing that OāDonnell genuinely cares about Cainās lack of military service (Clinton and Obama never served), but was possibly trying to posit him as a hypocrite. But thatās kind of hard to do when, while not exactly serving, he was working in ballistics for the Navy.
Seemed like a completely disingenuous line of questioning on OāDonnellās part, and made me cringe.
Harry Reid pulled a major bone-head move today.
I look for things in 2012, after the election, when the Republicans kick the democrats butts — to get interesting — because Republicans will remember this one; bank on it.
This isn’t good, at all. šÆ
Via The Blaze:
Last week, an Iranian Naval Commander threatened to deploy ships off the U.S. coast as a provocative show of force.
Now it looks like Iran might actually be serious.
A new map that allegedly shows the expected path of the Iranian Naval expedition to the U.SĀ has leaked online from an Iranian website, according to MEMRI.
The unprecedented route for the Islamic Republic would take Iranian ships through the Suez Canal and into the warm waters of the Caribbean, a total nautical distance of approximately 9000 miles. According to MEMRI, Iranian media sources claim:
āIn this new and feasible mission, the ships of the navy of the Iranian Army will sail west, towards the Strait of Gibraltar, after they enter the Mediterranean. Subsequently, they will enter the Atlantic Ocean, and from there they must traverse the long distance to their destination off Cuba, in the Gulf of Mexico, and Central and South America.”
[…]
MEMRI pulled a second map from the Iranian website that had no accompanying description, but showed a number of western countries in different colors, including the U.S., Cuba, Venezuela, Panama, Ecuador and Brazil.Ā See Below:
The Iranian regime has already establishedĀ close ties to Venezuela and Cuba, but the inclusion of the other Central and South American countries remains unclear, according to MEMRI.
In addition, an unconfirmed report in an Italian newspaper in September claimed Hezbollahā a terrorist proxy of Iranā has opened up a base in Cuba. This allegation wasĀ repeated by Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann just last week.
Whether Iran launches this aggressive naval action or not, the Ayatollahs are clearly looking for ways to agitate the United States and complicate international efforts to contain the number one global sponsor of terrorism.
You can read the full report and detailed analysis on the Iranian maps here.
Ron Paul was, of course, unavailable for comment.
I wonder if now, Obama will take Iran a bit more seriously than before?

I’ll be darned, I no sooner push out a story as to why this race-hustler started killing people, and I discover that has assumed room temperature.
Shareef Allman, the man suspected of killing three people and wounding seven others during a workplace shooting, has been shot and killed this morning by Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies, according to multiple law enforcement agencies.
Allman was fatally shot at about 7:20 a.m. after being found at a house in Sunnyvale, according to multiple law enforcement agencies.
Lt. Rick Sung of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said a man was shot this morning by sheriff’s deputies who had been searching for Allman in the same neighborhood of Wednesday’s massive manhunt. The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety will investigate the officer-involved shooting.
A law enforcement source said Allman knew somebody who lives on Lorne Way.
via Suspect in Cupertino shooting spree has been shot and killed – San Jose Mercury News.
I hate to be the one to say it; but, it could not have happened to a better person. Well, maybe Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or even Ed Brayton. ( šÆ ) ‘
Anyhow, the point I am making here is this;Ā if you use your race to act as a shield for your poor job performance, and when that does not work anymore — you kill people? You die, especially if you pull a gun on a police officer. I do not care what race you are, this sort of stuff is just wrong. What burns my rear about this; is the liberal left, will use this tragic incident to try and advocate for stricter gun laws.
Another thing that really burns my bottom side; is that the liberal left and their cohorts in the media; will act like this crime never even happened.Ā If anything at all; the man will be seen as a martyr to the race-hustling crowd. That’s right, he will be seen as a hero to these people; and not as the criminal murder, that he really was.
But then again, we are talking about the liberal left — none of this should be a big surprise to the rest of America.
The dude was a lousy unsafe driver and used his race as a shield; and when that little gig was up, he started killing people.
Here is hoping that this morally depraved piece of human excrement is put out of his own misery by the police.
Shareef Allman is a disgrace to the black race. Not to mention a two-bit phony.
The really ironic part, he did not just kill white people; he killed Latinos as well. That alone ought to have the Latino community out in California pissed off.
But to listen to the NAACP out there talk; this dude was a Christian man. To which I ask; by what standards?!?
Another thing too; this sick incident, where an angry black man shoots and kills those, who he has a problem with, will be used to try and enact stricter gun laws — which is absolutely stupid.
