As I thought, Iraqi P.M. says that his words were misunderstood.

Uh-huh, So I thought….

Via Commie News Network, (of all places…)

Quote:

A German magazine quoted Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki as saying that he backed a proposal by presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq within 16 months. <

“U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama talks about 16 months,” he said in an interview with Der Spiegel that was released Saturday.

“That, we think, would be the right time frame for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes,” he said.

But a spokesman for al-Maliki said his remarks “were misunderstood, mistranslated and not conveyed accurately.”

Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the possibility of troop withdrawal was based on the continuance of security improvements, echoing statements that the White House made Friday after a meeting between al-Maliki and U.S. President Bush.

Such as I thought, the Democrat owned and ran communist Liberal media attempted to spin this to make it say that Iraq’s PM wanted us out yesterday. The Iraqi Government saw that and rushed to make it clear, as not to insult those who helped give them Liberty. Good for them.

Of course, the Liberal AP is already spinning that.

What further proof do we need, that Liberal are just commies with a fancy name?

In a related report, even Fallon, who worked at Centcom, says that we should stay there until the damn job is done.

I got a kick out of this:

Heh… too funny. At least McCain has a sense of humor. 😆

So long Gramm, Thanks for the Fish.

Another McCain distraction, under the bus!

“It is clear to me that Democrats want to attack me rather than debate Sen. McCain on important economic issues facing the country,” the former Texas senator said in statement. “That kind of distraction hurts not only Sen. McCain’s ability to present concrete programs to deal with the country’s problems, it hurts the country. To end this distraction and get on with the real debate, I hereby step down as co-chair of the McCain Campaign and join the growing number of rank-and-file McCain supporters.” – Washington Wire – WSJ.com : Sen. Gramm Leaves McCain Camp

Good riddance. I’ll admit it, his asinine comments even offended me, and I’m a Conservative.

Of course, this is not good enough for the Obamassiah:

“The question for John McCain isn’t whether Phil Gramm will continue as chairman of his campaign, but whether he will continue to keep the economic plan that Gramm authored and that represents a continuation of the polices that have failed American families for the last eight years,” said Obama spokesman Hari Sevugan.

Whether that happens or not is any man’s guess. If his recent campaign is any indication, nothing will change. His appointment of a Open Border advocate, being one of the many things wrong with McCain’s campaign.

The Story: CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive – McCain: ‘I don’t know’ if Obama is socialist « – Blogs from CNN.com

John McCain on Thursday described Barack Obama’s Senate record as “more to the left” than Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont — an independent who caucuses with Democrats but has described himself as an “independent Democratic socialist.”

During his town hall meeting with voters in Kansas City yesterday, McCain said, “Senator Obama has the most extreme record of any member of the United States Senate.”

In an interview after the event, The Kansas City Star asked him to clarify the remark.

“His voting record … is more to the left than the announced socialist in the United States Senate, Bernie Sanders of Vermont,” McCain answered, according the paper.

Asked if he thought Obama was a socialist, McCain answered: “I don’t know. All I know is his voting record, and that’s what people usually judge their elected representatives by.”

No wonder the Democrats and Liberals think he’s a dolt! 🙄

Obama, just another vain liberal…..

Obama has been exposed……again….

Quote:

Barack Obama wants to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. He figures it would be a nice backdrop. The supporting cast — a cheering audience and a few fainting frauleins — would be a picturesque way to bolster his foreign policy credentials.

What Obama does not seem to understand is that the Brandenburg Gate is something you earn. President Ronald Reagan earned the right to speak there because his relentless pressure had brought the Soviet empire to its knees and he was demanding its final “tear down this wall” liquidation. When President John F. Kennedy visited the Brandenburg Gate on the day of his “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech, he was representing a country that was prepared to go to the brink of nuclear war to defend West Berlin.

[…]

Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name, a former Illinois state senator who voted “present” nearly 130 times. As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship? Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself.

It is a subject upon which he can dilate effortlessly. In his victory speech upon winning the nomination, Obama declared it a great turning point in history — “generations from now we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment” — when, among other wonders, “the rise of the oceans began to slow.” As Hudson Institute economist Irwin Stelzer noted in his London Daily Telegraph column, “Moses made the waters recede, but he had help.” Obama apparently works alone.

[…]

After all, in the words of his own slogan, “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for,” which, translating the royal “we,” means: ” I am the one we’ve been waiting for.” Amazingly, he had a quasi-presidential seal with its own Latin inscription affixed to his lectern, until general ridicule — it was pointed out that he was not yet president — induced him to take it down.

He lectures us that instead of worrying about immigrants learning English, “you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish” — a language Obama does not speak. He further admonishes us on how “embarrassing” it is that Europeans are multilingual but “we go over to Europe, and all we can say is ‘merci beaucoup.’ ” Obama speaks no French.

[….]

We are getting to know. Redeemer of our uninvolved, uninformed lives. Lord of the seas. And more. As he said on victory night, his rise marks the moment when “our planet began to heal.” As I recall — I’m no expert on this — Jesus practiced his healing just on the sick. Obama operates on a larger canvas. The Audacity of Vanity by Charles Krauthammer – (Via washingtonpost.com)

Krauthammer couldn’t be more right. Obama is playing this little game, of him being the second coming of John F. Kennedy. The truth is, B. Hussein Obama could not hold candle to JFK at all. Kennedy came from a grand royal line of political family, even if they were all commie liberals. Obama is a bastard son of a bi-racial marriage, and I use that term quite loosely.

Obama has no more earned the right to speak that the Berlin wall, than I have.

I just wonder, will he go, representing this man or will we hear this at the Berlin wall??:

It is to wonder.

MSM Swoons over Obama at the gym

Oh Brother…. Must be a slow day in Political News.

Quote:

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports: While Obama spent 91 minutes at a campaign event yesterday, the Illinois Senator spent a total of 188 minutes in the gym yesterday – making three separate stops to Chicago gyms over the course of one day.

The presumptive nominee started his Tuesday with a short morning work out at the gym of his friend and longtime aide Mike Signator’s apartment building.

After flying to Indiana for a campaign event, and doing a round of local TV interviews, the Senator returned to his home in Illinois where he spent the afternoon hitting two more local area gyms for the duration of the day. Obama first visited Signator’s gym again, returning home briefly and then going to East Bank Club, a downtown gym which Obama regularly plays basketball.Obama Hits the Gym, With Multiple Repetitions (via ABC News: Political Radar)

Jack Moss over at Macsmind says Obama was pumping Iron. Of course, if Larry Sinclair is to be believed, that isn’t the only thing that Obama likes to pump. 😮 😯 😉

Of course Obama’s campaign went out of their way to indirectly discredit the guy and expose his criminal record.

He might be manly, but he’s still a commie Liberal.

Another Conservative jumps for Obama

Larry Hunter has decided that Obama is the answer for America.

Who is Larry Hunter?

Quote:

I’m a lifelong Republican – a supply-side conservative. I worked in the Reagan White House. I was the chief economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for five years. In 1994, I helped write the Republican Contract with America. I served on Bob Dole’s presidential campaign team and was chief economist for Jack Kemp’s Empower America.

This November, I’m voting for Barack Obama.

So, why is Larry supporting Obama?

Quote:

The answer is simple: Unjustified war and unconstitutional abridgment of individual rights vs. ill-conceived tax and economic policies – this is the difference between venial and mortal sins.

Taxes, economic policy and health care reform matter, of course. But how we extract ourselves from the bloody boondoggle in Iraq, how we avoid getting into a war with Iran and how we preserve our individual rights while dealing with real foreign threats – these are of greater importance.

He does not mince words about Juan McSame either:

Quote:

John McCain would continue the Bush administration’s commitment to interventionism and constitutional overreach. Obama promises a humbler engagement with our allies, while promising retaliation against any enemy who dares attack us. That’s what conservatism used to mean – and it’s what George W. Bush promised as a candidate.

So, why is this man throwing his Conservative principles into the wind and voting for Obama?

Quote:

“But here’s the thing: Even if my hopes on domestic policy are dashed and Obama reveals himself as an unreconstructed, dyed-in-the-wool, big-government liberal, I’m still voting for him.

These past eight years, we have spent over a trillion dollars on foreign soil – and lost countless lives – and done what I consider irreparable damage to our Constitution.

If economic damage from well-intentioned but misbegotten Obama economic schemes is the ransom we must pay him to clean up this foreign policy mess, then so be it. It’s not nearly as costly as enduring four more years of what we suffered the last eight years.”

I hate to admit it, but I agree with him. I believe that the Republican Party needs to be punished, harshly, for it’s allowing of a Neo-Conservative, Big Government, Pro-War, Agenda to overtake it. The Republican Party needs to take the next 7 years to rewrite the party’s entire message.

Hope, Change, Flip Flop, Edit Website!

When the message is not fitting the current events, what do you do? Edit your website.

The New York Daily News reports:

Barack Obama’s campaign scrubbed his presidential Web site over the weekend to remove criticism of the U.S. troop “surge” in Iraq, the Daily News has learned.

The presumed Democratic nominee replaced his Iraq issue Web page, which had described the surge as a “problem” that had barely reduced violence.

“The surge is not working,” Obama’s old plan stated, citing a lack of Iraqi political cooperation but crediting Sunni sheiks – not U.S. military muscle – for quelling violence in Anbar Province.

The News reported Sunday that insurgent attacks have fallen to the fewest since March 2004.

Obama’s campaign posted a new Iraq plan Sunday night, which cites an “improved security situation” paid for with the blood of U.S. troops since the surge began in February 2007.

It praises G.I.s’ “hard work, improved counterinsurgency tactics and enormous sacrifice.”

Campaign aide Wendy Morigi said Obama is “not softening his criticism of the surge. We regularly update the Web site to reflect changes in current events.”

GOP rival John McCain zinged Obama as a flip-flopper. “The major point here is that Sen. Obama refuses to acknowledge that he was wrong,” said McCain, adding that Obama “refuses to acknowledge that it [the surge] is succeeding.”

B. Hussein Obama, Website Editor in chief. I love it! 😆 😛 😀 😉

However, the left would just say, what about all the times that the George W. Bush Administration changed their message, as the Iraq dissolved into chaos in 2004? How many times did they change their reasoning for even being there?

Of course, the Republican Neo-Cons are wetting themselves over this, and I’ll put the various ones in down at the end.

The way I see it, he’s coming towards the center, instead of pandering to the hard left, which is what he did in the primary, which is what the Congress did in the 2006 election. I’m personally glad to see that he’s trying to prove himself not to be another Dennis Kucinich, but rather a more moderate progressive, who is more pragmatic, than idealistic. This could very well help him in the general election. I think.

Newsbusters Hyperventalites because Chris Matthew……told the truth, for a change!

This is too funny, The Republican Conservatives are ticked off, because Chris Matthews told the truth about them, for a change.

On Monday’s “Hardball” Chris Matthews was so upset about the New Yorker’s cover, depicting Barack Obama in a turban and Michelle Obama toting an AK-47, because he feared “the right will be using that as t-shirt material within the next couple of weeks.” –Matthews Worries ‘Right’ Will Turn New Yorker Cover into T-Shirt | NewsBusters.org.

What’s the matter Geoffrey, the truth a little hard to handle? Quite frankly, with all the e-mails floating around, that were started by the Republican Operatives, I’m surpised you haven’t seen one.

Townhall.com’s Carol Platt Liebau asks….

This:

Could someone point to me someone — anyone — of any stature in the Republican Party or the conservative movement who has shopped the idea that Barack is a Muslim (it was, of course, Hillary Clinton who said he was a Christian “as far as [she] know[s]”)? Or a terrorist who’s hand-in-glove with Osama bin Laden?

Yeah, Sure, I will. How about 90% of your damn base? Someone seriously needs to get this woman some glasses, because, it’s quite obvious she’s quite the vision impaired person.

I am not a Obama fan, not by a long shot. But this right here, is why the Republican Party is going to get thier asses handed to them on a platter come November, and quite honestly, no one is more deserving of that.

It just seems to me, that the Republican Party has been taken over by a disease and that is a bad case of inherit stupidity. 🙄

Yeah, I know, she said Stature, but you know, it doesn’t matter WHOM it’s coming from, it’s very damn point that it’s even coming.

Update: Before anyone says, “Hey, what about you?” Let me say this, okay? 90% of what I say in here, in relation to Obama being a Muslim or terrorist or anything else, is said in jest. I know that he is not a terrorist. Duh, I’m not that stupid. My biggest gripe with the Republicans, is their operatives who DO spread these rumors as fact. Obviously Carol does not see the e-mails that float around. 🙄

Man, talk about a dumb bitch who needs to wake up and smell the coffee… wow! 😮 😯

On the Offshore Ban Lift

Yes, I have have heard about lifting the Ban of offshore drilling.

The good news is, it will help, in the long run. The bad news is, it will not help anytime soon.

Of course, I’d be willing to bet that the Dems will obstruct this. What needs to happen is, the Enron Loophole needs to be closed, like yesterday. Between the two, prices would come down.

Other than that, I don’t see a quick solution.

Barry’s Plan in the New York Times, just more of the stump speech

It seems that B. Hussein Obama wrote a Op-Ed Piece in the New York Times.

I won’t bother quoting any of it. Why? Because it is basically the same old muddled stump speech that he gave in the damn primary. It’s short of specifics, short on details, and basically is the same old mantra of Hope, Change and get out of Iraq.

If Barry hopes to have any sort of a prayer in hell of getting elected to the office President of the United States, He had better get more specific, as to how exactly he plans on getting us out of Iraq, without that country falling into utter chaos.

His little stump speech is based upon the conditions on the ground in 2006, and NOT 2008. If he has any plan on getting elected, he had better update his damn teleprompter or he might just be getting him a job as the White House shoeshine boy, for John McCain.

Yes, that was me….

Yes, that was me, that you heard on the Downsize D.C. Radio Show. Which is on the Genesis Radio Network.

I was giving Jim my views on what’s happening with the United States and Iran. Which I do not believe we are going to war with.

After all, according to the Washington Times and Times of London, we could very well be pulling our forces out of Iraq.

Personally, like I said on Jim’s show. The people of the United States of America are tired of this war, period. This is why the President’s approval ratings are through the floor, this is why the congress approval rating is very low as well.

Personally, as I said on Jim’s show, I personally believe that we are NOT going to go directly to war with Iran. I believe that we are going to first use negotiations, via third party talks. Then, if that does not work. We will pursue Military via proxy though Israel.

So, again, I very highly doubt that the US would be foolish enough to pursue military action directly, with Iran. Because for one, George W. Bush does not want to drop two wars into the lap of an incoming President, because he wants to be the Republican hero. Not the President who drops a war to the next President.

Remember, we tried to be the hero’s in the middle east and it failed, and the situation in Iraq is just now starting to come around in Iraq. We’re not going to make that mistake twice, at least not with Bush in the White House.

….and that’s my take on it.

Barack Obama, Pussy in Chief?

It seems that way….

Quote:

A coalition of military groups is planning a nationally televised town-hall-style meeting with the presidential candidates near Fort Hood, Tex., the largest active-duty military installation in the country. But so far, only Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive Republican nominee, has agreed to attend.

CBS has agreed to broadcast the meeting live from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, Aug. 11. The candidates would face questions directly from an audience of 6,000 people, made up of veterans, service members and military families from the base.

Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has not agreed to participate.

“Senator Obama strongly supports America’s veterans and military families and has worked hard on their behalf in the Senate,” said Phillip Carter, director of Mr. Obama’s veterans effort and an Iraq war veteran. “While we unfortunately had a previously scheduled commitment on the date proposed, Senator Obama looks forward to continuing the dialogue he’s been having throughout the country with veterans on how we can better serve our men and women in uniform as they serve us.”Obama Won’t Commit to Event at Military Base – NYTimes.com

The way I see it, If B. Hussein Obama does not have to guts to appear before a crowd of Military men. He’s nothing more than a cowardly communist sissy liberal. He claims that he does not want to use the Military to make a cheap political point. I got news for you, Barry’s whole fucking campaign has been one BIG fucking political point!

Just further proof that without teleprompter, he nothing more than a empty suit, sleazeball, NEGRO Chicago Politician. (yeah, that’s right, I called him what he IS, a NEGRO!)

Newsweek Polls: Obama’s lead sinks….

(H/T to Capt. Ed.)

It seems that the glow of Obama, amongst the Independents, has grown quite dim.

Via NewsWeek:

A month after emerging victorious from the bruising Democratic nominating contest, some of Barack Obama’s glow may be fading. In the latest NEWSWEEK Poll, the Illinois senator leads Republican nominee John McCain by just 3 percentage points, 44 percent to 41 percent. The statistical dead heat is a marked change from last month’s NEWSWEEK Poll, where Obama led McCain by 15 points, 51 percent to 36 percent.

Obama’s rapid drop comes at a strategically challenging moment for the Democratic candidate. Having vanquished Hillary Clinton in early June, Obama quickly went about repositioning himself for a general-election audience–an unpleasant task for any nominee emerging from the pander-heavy primary contests and particularly for a candidate who’d slogged through a vigorous primary challenge in most every contest from January until June. Obama’s reversal on FISA legislation, his support of faith-based initiatives and his decision to opt out of the campaign public-financing system left him open to charges he was a flip-flopper. In the new poll, 53 percent of voters (and 50 percent of former Hillary Clinton supporters) believe that Obama has changed his position on key issues in order to gain political advantage.

More seriously, some Obama supporters worry that the spectacle of their candidate eagerly embracing his old rival, Hillary Clinton, and traveling the country courting big donors at lavish fund-raisers, may have done lasting damage to his image as an arbiter of a new kind of politics. This is a major concern since Obama’s outsider credentials, have, in the past, played a large part in his appeal to moderate, swing voters. In the new poll, McCain leads Obama among independents 41 percent to 34 percent, with 25 percent favoring neither candidate. In June’s NEWSWEEK Poll, Obama bested McCain among independent voters, 48 percent to 36 percent.

I know what caused all of this. Some say it was his “Lurch” to the center. I disagree. I believe it was caused by his enormous pander to the far left during the primary. He went to the front of the pack, because he told his base, that he intended to end the war in Iraq, “I don’t care what those generals say!”, is essentially what he told people. Barry essentially did in the primary, what the members of congress did in 2006. Lied like dogs, then got elected and proceeded to do absolutely NONE of the things that they promised their base that they would do. Which is, I think, Politics 101 anymore. 😀

But seeing that conditions in Iraq have improved and he also wanted to attract people, like me; who tend to hang around the center, on some issues, (Not all!) like getting out of Iraq in a responsible manner. What happened was, Obama tried, but failed miserably to subtly change his message.

Why did Obama fail? Well, because you have people like Ariana Huffington who can sniff out a right winger a mile away, that’s why! 😆 After all, she was married to one. 😀 Also, you have Conservative, Libertarian and Constitutionalist Bloggers, like myself, who take some sort of a perverse joy out of pointing out every little screw up, flip flop and outright lie which Obama tells, that happens to cross the media and a few, that the media either give him a pass on or they completely miss.

Between the two, ol’ Barry just can’t catch a break. 😛

Interestingly enough, I really do believe that majority of the Nation, except for the part of the country that reads, and own Blogs, like myself, and maybe the Political junkies, will hardly notice any of this stuff come November, they will think, “Republican = Bush” and pull the lever for a Democrat, and as much as I hate to say it. Obama will win, because what can John McCain say, to counter Obama’s message of hope and change? Not a damn thing.

Best thing that ol’ Juan McSame can come up with is that idiot phrase of “That’s not change we can believe in” and a silly laugh that made him sound like a mental patient, and making Political Ads that basically give the finger to the Anti-Illegal Immigration crowd. Which, by the way, is about 75% of his base.

The bottom line is: Obama took a dip, but I don’t expect it to affect him much in the long run.

Weekly Donation Appeal……

Hi Gang,

Here’s the part of being a full time Blogger, that I absolutely hate.

Asking for money….. 🙄

Yes, I do this full time. As I mentioned previously in another entry, I am a full time, freelance writer and Blogger. I write for a living, it is what I enjoy.

I won’t get into all the reasons why I do not have a day job. But I do enjoy this and I’d like to get paid to do it.

Please Give. Even if it’s $5 or $10 every little helps. For the record, I haven’t gotten any more than around $200.00 from here.

You say you cannot give? Well, there’s something that you can do, click my ads. I’ve just added a new Ad Service, one that pays, and pay decent, it’s a pay per display service and it’s already generating revenue. It’s not a $100 a minute, but it’s a little income. Some pay per click, some pay me when you buy something. (Please Note: I don’t get paid when you click on GunsAmerica’s Banner, that’s there for information and for a service…

Also, take a look at the banners under “My Friends” and “More of my Friends” sections, these are causes that feel matter, please, click on them and show your support.

Again, I don’t consider this begging, I only do it once a week! 😉

Also, I, again, would like to THANK EVERYONE who answered the call for help, when I was still over on Blogger. I also thank the young man, who came to my rescue with a awesome offer of hosting for an excellent deal. Which I could not have beaten, had I tried. I also thank Chris Muir of Day by Day for bringing my situation to the attention of his readers, you’re awesome Chris!

Anyhow, enough of the ass kissing. 😉 😛 😆 😀

Thanks for reading and thanks for the continued readership.

Jim Webb says no offically to a V.P. Spot

Via Memeorandum:

MSNBC reports that Jim Webb is saying no to being Obama’s V.P.

“Last week I communicated to Senator Obama and his presidential campaign my firm intention to remain in the United States Senate, where I believe I am best equipped to serve the people of Virginia and this country. Under no circumstances will I be a candidate for Vice President.

“A year and a half ago, the people of Virginia honored me with election to the U.S. Senate. I entered elective politics because of my commitment to strengthen America’s national security posture, to promote economic fairness, and to increase government accountability. I have worked hard to deliver upon that commitment, and I am convinced that my efforts and talents toward those ends are best served in the Senate.

“In this regard, the bipartisan legislative template we were able to put into effect through 18 months of work in order to enact the new, landmark GI Bill will serve as a prototype for my future endeavors in government. This process, wherein we brought 58 Senators from both parties to the table as co-sponsors, along with more than 300 members of the House, gives me renewed confidence that the Congress can indeed work effectively across party lines and address the concerns of our citizens.

“At this time I am also renewing my commitment to work hard to make sure that Senator Obama wins both Virginia and the presidency this November. He is a man who speaks eloquently about our national goals and calls for the practical solutions that must be put into place to obtain them. I will proudly campaign for him.”

Word is that the Democrat card readers are saying that Joe Biden is in the running. Of course, that is strictly rumor.

Kathy, lay off the booze on the Holidays, Please.

Heh…. Someone’s nuts. 😉

A totally crazy Saturday-morning thought: Wouldn’t George W. Bush make an awesome high-school government teacher? Wouldn’t it be something if his post-presidential life would up being that kind of post-service service? How’s that for a model? Who needs Harvard visiting chairs and high-end lectures? How about Crawford High? (Or wherever?) Reach out and touch the young before they are jaded, or break them of the cynicism pop culture and possibly their parents have passed down to them. Whatever you think of President Bush, he’s a likable guy in love with his country with some history and experience to share.Re: Civics by Kathryn Jean Lopez (via The Corner on National Review Online)

Not sure what’s more funny here. The original entry or the many humorous replies. 😆

Crazy?!?!? Ya Think? 😮 Someone, please, think of the kids! 😉

Did the White House pay for the release of the FARC Hostages?

You Decide.

Quote:

Leaders of the Colombian FARC rebel movement were paid millions of dollars to free Colombian politician Ingrid Betancourt and 14 other hostages, Swiss radio said on Friday, quoting ‘a reliable source’.

The 15 hostages released on Wednesday by the Colombian army ‘were in reality ransomed for a high price, and the whole operation afterwards was a set-up,’ the radio’s French-language channel said.

Saying the United States, which had three of its citizens among those freed, was behind the deal, it put the price of the ransom at some $20 million.

The radio said its source was ‘close to the events, reliable and tested many times in recent years.’FARC leaders were paid millions to free hostages: Swiss radio – Forbes.com

Of course, the article does not cite any direct sources, but rather anonymous sources, this raises some questions. But it does bring back some memories of another hostage situation that resolved in a very controversial manner. I wonder who will be the fall guy for this one?

Should be interesting to follow this one, if it hits the MSM.

Stay Tuned.

How can this be allowed to happen in the richest Country in the entire World?

This is sick and totally disgusting…. Our National Mall, looks like a shit hole.

About half a million people are expected Friday on the National Mall in Washington for the nation’s birthday celebration, but they may be shocked at what they see.

This gathering place known as America’s “front yard” stretches from the Capitol to the Potomac River and is home to the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials and Washington Monument, but it’s starting to look like “an old rundown, worn-out mall that looks like it was abandoned 30 years ago,” says Judy Feldman of the National Coalition to Save Our Mall. – National Mall in monumental disrepair, activists say – CNN.com

Disgusting… Check out this video series and watch the whole series.

Also, check out the National Coalition to Save Our Mall‘s Website.

Where the hell is our do-nothing Congress? Where is our President? Oh, sorry, he’s too busy with his pet project, Iraq.

Like I said, this, totally disgusts me.

A Great Article by Devvy Kidd

This is a great article, I recommend you go read it all…

Quote:

“The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him.” George W. Bush, September 13, 2001. “I don’t know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don’t care. It’s not that important. It’s not our priority.” George W. Bush, March 13, 2002

The move to impeach President George W. Bush has been around for years. A large number of Americans actually thought that by voting in Democrats and “taking back” Congress in 2006, not only would America withdraw from this heinous, unconstitutional war in Iraq (and Afghanistan), they could also expect the incompetent, Nancy Pelosi, to spear head the impeachment of Bush. Of course, these duped Americans were played, again. There was never any doubt in my mind that there would be no impeachment. The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder By Devvy Kidd (via NewsWithViews.com)

The most important point that Mrs. Kidd makes in this article is:

1. It is not our duty or obligation to remove any dictator from any foreign country by invading and killing anyone in our way. The Monroe Doctrine, December 2, 1823

2. It is not our responsibility to invade a foreign country to promote the evil of democracy. The Monroe Doctrine, December 2, 1823

3 – It is not our responsibility to invade any foreign country to allegedly protect a neighboring country to settle squabbling, religious or tribal differences between them that have lasted decades or a thousand years. The Monroe Doctrine, December 2, 1823

4. The U.S. Constitution does not authorize the American people to be robbed using borrowed money to fund wars based on lies and what is known as nation building. Our military is for our defense, period. We have the right to defend if attacked.

5. Bush has acknowledged the fact that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with September 11, 2001.

6. There were no weapons of mass destruction.

7. Iraq was NOT any kind of threat to these united States of America.

8. Bush and his co conspirators planned the invasion of Iraq long before September 11, 2001, because it is the agenda being pursued for world government and every country who doesn’t fall lock step into line will be invaded and occupied until the desired results are achieved. That agenda includes making sure control of the world’s oil supply is in the hands of the power brokers who own the U.S. Congress.

Paid mouth pieces and party hacks on the stupid tube shout that any American questioning Bush’s motives during a time of war and and the invasions of two non threatening countries are somehow aiding and abetting the enemy. “Soft on terrorism.” Classic propaganda. It is our duty to question the motives and policies of those allegedly elected to public office on any issue – especially war.

…..and this woman is a Conservative…. Wow. 😮

Senator Jesse Helms – RIP

I am sure everyone knows by now. But, Senator Jesse Helms has died.

Instead of turning this into a hatemonger fest like some, or to use this to make a political point like some, I will just simply say this….

Rest in Peace, Senator, Thank you for your service to our Country.

Thoughts and Prayers and condolences to the Helms family in their time of loss.
