Let me say before I fire off this posting. That I am no fan of Islam, in fact, I totally reject the premise that Islam is a religion of peace. However, I saw something today, that quite frankly, disturbed me greatly.

Now obviously, the second video is very offensive. But there was a time, when people would look at the second video and laugh. But, nowadays, people would look at the second video and blanch, shudder and be offended.
My question is simply this, is it now considered to be socially acceptable to poke fun at Islamic Terrorists and by proxy mock Islam, Muslims and by default the Arabic culture? After all, it was not American Muslims who slammed those planes into the twin towers.
No, I’m not picking on Ed, he’s gotten his fair share over the supposed “Bailouts”. But it is something that needs to be addressed. I don’t claim to be the resident expert here. I’d like to know your thoughts, is that first video outright offensive or just distasteful?
Or am I just overreacting here?
I mean, We don’t mock blacks, We don’t mock Jews, We don’t mock Catholics, we don’t mock Protestants. So, why Muslims?

John Henry Bonham was basically the damned Pulse of Led Zeppelin. His drumming provided the foundation for the sound that was Led Zeppelin. I have always said that anyone who would seriously consider taking up drums to play, should be strapped to a chair and forced to listen to all of Led Zeppelin’s Albums. (The major exception being Led Zeppelin 3, which I felt basically sucked.)
Anyhow, enough of my babbling…

Now, towards of the end of this. He gets off into the weeds about the Unions. I’ll give him a pass on it. Because some of the stuff he says, I kind agree with. But he went overboard with the “They should gotten out from under them years ago…” I disgree with that crap. But the rest of the video is right on point.
Of course, if I was a real butt hole, I could say if it weren’t for the Democrats, his black ass would not have half the freedom that he has now. But to counter that, If it were not for Abe Lincoln, he would be still in chains. So, it evens out. 😀
Still I wish there were more black people, like Zo here who believed this way. But unfortunately most of them got sucked into that stupid socialist identity politics crap. Thanks to tools like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Oh Canada! – Town May Force Child With Cerebral Palsy to Give Up His Pony

A dispute has erupted in Caledon, Ont., over whether a family with a child with cerebral palsy should be allowed to keep a pony.
Three-year-old Sam Spiteri was born with a form of cerebral palsy that makes it hard for him to do ordinary tasks such as walk, hold toys, eat or speak.
The youngster has been riding his miniature pony, Emily, since he was an infant.
“Taking her away would be devastating to Sam. It is his best friend,” said his mother Antonia Spiteri.
He’s so attached to the animal that his rides usually end in tears because he doesn’t want to leave Emily.
But a neighbour’s complaint about the animal’s smell is now being handled by the Town of Caledon, whose bylaw enforcement manager has ruled the Spiteris’ half-hectare property is zoned rural-residential, meaning they cannot keep livestock.
The Spiteri family, however, argues Emily shouldn’t be classified as livestock because she was bought as a form of therapy.
“We only want the exception for Emily herself to remain on the property for therapeutic purposes,” said Antonia Spiteri.
Sam’s grandfather bought him the pony because the youngster experiences seizures, making it almost impossible to take him on long car trips to a riding facility elsewhere.
According to the Ontario Cerebral Palsy Foundation, equestrian therapy “improves balance, co-ordination, strength and muscle tone, while gently mobilizing the joints.”
Antonia Spiteri says Sam’s pediatrician suggested the riding therapy, and they have seen an improvement in his posture.
“Bouncing from riding her triggers the muscles to stiffen and contract, so that when he rides her, he gets better posture and makes it easier for those muscles to learn those types of things. And then he is better with possibly walking in the future,” she said.
“When his posture is better, it’s easier for him to perform simple tasks such as feeding himself. It also helps with speech.”
The debate over whether Emily can stay on the property will now go before a committee of adjustment.

Keith Olbermann Reacts to the Palin Turkey Pardon Clip
Okay, First off, Keith was on vacation; hence the talk about the remote island. I’m not sure which is worse; watching Keith Olbermann doing his show or watching David Shuster trying to do Keith’s Show. I give ol’ Bathtub boy credit, at least he’s sincere. Sincerely silly, at times. But just the same, he’s real about it. Watching Shuster do Keith’s show is like watching an atheist preach a Gospel Sermon. Yeah, you know, he’s saying the words, but you know damned well, he does not believe a word that he is saying. 
Anyhow, watching Keith’s reaction to the clip, I think; was comedy gold. Like AllahPundit, I think he speaks for the Liberal left on this one. I am 100% convinced that the donation offer was snark of the Ann Coulter type. 
What gets me is, that he did not bother to blur the gross stuff. I mean, his show comes on at 8:00pm for crying out loud! 
So, here’s the clip, gore and all; those with weak stomachs and such should not watch this; because puking on your keyboard is not a healthy thing to do. For the keyboard.

A sad, but realistic look at World affairs from an outside source. There are many things to blame; Bush, Neo-Conservatism, and the like. There are some that would say that the BBC is liberally biased. But I disagree, I think it is a real-world view of things. Our world in changing, we, as Americans ought to embrace it, but be prepared.
