Your thoughts? šŸ˜€

Is Harry Reid trying to steal the election in Navada?

That is what is being reported, in two different places.

First via Fox 5 in Vegas: (H/T Beltway Confidential)

Clark County election officials insisted on Tuesday that electronic voting machines were not malfunctioning at polling locations are some voters complained that Sen. Harry Reid’s name had been pre-selected.Controversy arose after Boulder City resident Joyce Ferrara complained to FOX5 that when she went to vote for GOP Senate candidate Sharron Angle, Reid’s name was already checked.”Something’s not right,” Ferrara said. She claimed her husband and several others voting at the same time all had the same thing happen.Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax said those claims were ā€œpatently falseā€ and said at no time did any of those voters report the incident to staff at their polling location.ā€œIn fact, although over 160,000 people have voted early in Clark County, those allegations that have been made have gone directly to the media as opposed to election board officers,ā€ he said.Lomax advised voters to be aware that touch-screens on the screens are sensitive. For that reason, a person may not want to have their fingers linger too long on the screen after they make a selection at any time.”Especially in a community with elderly citizens (they have) difficulty in (casting their) ballot,” Lomax said. “Team leaders said there were complaints (and the) race filled in.”At any time, voters can go back on the screen and review their selections. They are also allowed to make changes and encouraged to double-check their ballot on screen and on paper before it is cast.

Beltway Confidential adds:

Now there’s absolutely no independently verified evidence of chicanery with the voting machines (yet), but it is worth noting that the voting machine technicians in Clark County are members of the Service Employees International Union. The SEIU spent $63 million in elections in 2008 and is planning on spending $44 million more this election cycle — nearly all of that on Democrats. White House political director Patrick Gaspard is formerly the SEIU’s top lobbyist, and former SEIU president Andy Stern was the most frequent visitor to the White House last year.

Just in Nevada, the SEIU has given a lot to groups that are heavily vested in the state — in just one prominent example, the SEIU gave $500,000 to the Patriot Majority PAC, which has spent $1.3 million against Reid’s opponent Sharron Angle. They’ve and have dropped large sums directly on candidates:

NV-3

Joe Heck (R)Ā Ā  OpposeĀ  $140,000.00

NV-3Ā  Dina Titus (D)Ā  SupportĀ Ā  $344,984.00

NV-Senate

Sharron E. Angle (R)Ā Ā  OpposeĀ Ā  $225,000.00

Go read the rest of that, it is quite interesting to read.

That is not all, there is also this via Las Vegas Sun:

So says Cleta Mitchell, the same woman who tried to get Scott Ashjian, the Tea Party of Nevada candidate out of the race, in an astonishing fundraising letter:

As Sharron Angle’s campaign attorney, I am sorry to report that the Democrats and their cronies are up to their same old tricks, of trying to manipulate the election in hopes of skewing the results in their favor.

Two days ago, the Democratic Secretary of State announced that voters can be provided “free food” at “voter turnout events.” Harry Reid has been offering free food and, according to other reports, some Democratic allies such as teachers’ unions are offering gift cards in return for a vote for Reid.

Before we were even able to document the reported infractions to report to the authorities, the Democrat Secretary of State slammed the door shut on preventing this behavior and issued a public statement permitting these ACORN-style tactics. THESE are the kinds of shenanigans that can turn this race.

Harry Reid intends to steal this election if he can’t win it outright. As a result, we need to deploy literally dozens of election law attorneys and poll watchers to combat these tactics at a cost of nearly $80,000. That’s over and above our current budget. We need to raise $80,000 and we need to do it RIGHT NOW, because even as I am writing this, Harry Reid and his Machine are trying to steal this election. I’m sorry that we have to come to you yet again and ask for you to reach deep and contribute, but we must.

Go read the rest of that. Now the Secretary of State has responded, click here to view the PDF file.

Now, honestly, I am not not much into furthering stories that I cannot personally prove on this blog, at all. However, if there is an ounce of truth to this; it would prove that the Democrats are desperate to protect their positions, and offices. This could very well be the 2004 election in reverse.

Brad Friedman, owner of Brad Blog, a liberal blog, has a great article on this story. Click here to go read it.

Needless to say, this election is going to be very interesting to watch. I will be keeping my eyes open on November 2, when I go vote here locally, and I advise all my readers to do the same.

Hey, Dave Poff, why don’t you just call President Obama the N-Word and get it over with?

I hate having to write about stupid crap like this; but sometimes it gets to be a bit much.

President Obama said this, while out stumping for Democrats:

He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, ā€œwe can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.ā€

For the record, Obama is, at least partially correct —- Republicans, when in power and in the majority during the Bush era; did get addicted to pork and spending — just like they did back in the 1990’s. However, it is fair to note that the Democrats did do the social engineering of the economy and the housing market. This caused the bubble and the eventual collapse of the housing market and the flash crash of 2008; which lead to the credit crisis and the bailouts and so forth.

Anyhow, this blockhead over Redstate, a Dave Poff writes this idiotic tripe:

In the new post-racial America, brought to us by Barack ā€œdon’t call me black or white, just call me Americanā€ Obama, we have been told our differences are behind us now…just because he exists and… just because he is black. Yet, day by day and speech by speech, this President has done more damage to race relations than any combination of Presidents since Lyndon Johnson…and he, at least, tried to make things better with a sincere heart.

Were anyone else to have been caught on tape making these sorts of remarks, they’d have already been fired and given a 2 million dollar job contract with the competition. Oh wait.

The lack of outrage should surprise no one here. We were told to vote for him… not because he was black but… because he brought with him hope and change and the promise of a color blind society. He has delivered on none of these, instead making race relations worse today than they were before he was elected. Since being sworn in we’ve been routinely told that any disagreements with his agenda HAD to be because he was… wait for it…

Black.

Some of us fall for that drivel, but most of us…and especially the folks pulling levers in voting booths all across America in a few days…know better. A great DEAL better.

Bridging the racial divide in this country will not come from highlighting our differences and throwing these in our faces so we can turn them against each other. And it will most certainly not come from throwing slurs at individual groups or races, or using *dated* ones to make jokes at the expense of others.

It will come from mutual respect and understanding, each of the other. This President has neither, and he is not qualified to lead any of us in the struggle to get there.

Yeah Dave, as your little acronym says, “Are you fucking kidding me?” Are you? Really? I mean, making comments like this; is not doing a damn bit of good for our side man. I dislike the President’s policies as much as the next person —- but basically backhandedly calling the President of the United States the N-Word — is just fucking wrong dude. This is the same fucking Redstate who called me a fucking Anti-Semite and blasted my personal information all over the net. (follow the links to the various postings please….) Something I have not forgotten about, and still might seek legal action against the owner of and the people that pony up the cash to keep that site afloat; which happens to be Townhall.com.

If we lose this damned election, we will have nothing or no one to blame, but our own damned selves. I mean, between this beat down of a Moveon.org person and this here; I think we might just be shooting ourselves in the foot. Not to mention what Sharon Angle is doing —- dissing Latinos? Seriously? What an idiot! šŸ™„

I mean, Dave Poff could have embedded this video here on RedState and basically done the same damned thing, and gotten better results. Yeah folks, it’s that damned stupid. šŸ™„

There goes Rand Paul’s chances of getting elected

First the Video:

The Story via Fox41.com:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) — Outside the Conway-Paul debate, a Rand Paul supporter pulled the woman’s blonde wig off and stomped on her head. She was representing the liberal organization MoveOn.org and claimed to be presenting Paul with an award from RepubliCorp. That’s a group created by MoveOn.org that focuses on what it calls the merger between corporate America and the Republican Party. “I’m here to present Rand Paul with the ‘Employee of the Month’ award, however his supporters were not very nice to me and my message which is same as everyone else. I got my head stepped on and I have a bit of a headache,” said Lauren Valle, MoveOn.org. The woman denied police were involved, but right afterwards officers pulled her aside to question her about the incident.

I am in agreement with John Hawkings on this one; I do not care who she is, or what she was doing —- stomping people’s noggins on the curb is not cool at all. I mean, I dislike liberals and progressives as much as the next Right Wing knucklehead; but this is totally unacceptable. These people have as much right to believe and the right to express the way they believe; no matter how ignorant and misinformed it might be. The is American, and curb stomping someone’s head, because you do not like what they are saying and might be doing — is on par with Nazi Germany! Just as unacceptable when Kenneth Gladney was roughed up by the SEIU guys. Both are wrong and both should be treated as a criminal event.

Let me go on the record as saying that this here, that this could be considered of political terrorism and should be treated as such and no I am not kidding.

Memorandum Roundup Here

Update: Hey AP, Truth hurts don’t it? Unlike you sir, I actually meant it. What happened there was wrong and it does remind me of Nazi Germany’s handling of political dissent.

Honestly, Why does this moron continue this idiotic crap?

Just when I thought Sarah Palin was the biggest moron on the so-called “Right”, this idiot comes along and takes the damned cake.

The Video:

The Story:

This ā€œHecklerā€, who actually made it on to the stage, can only be described as Superhero-like, with snow white hair, lean physique, and a very tan complexion. The Heckler has been identified as none other than the candidate ā€of the peopleā€, the ā€œ I need your vote, what should I say nowā€ candidate, the ā€œ what do the pollsters think I should doā€ candidate. The ā€œHecklerā€ of whom I refer to was none other than Governor Charlie ā€œThe Chucksterā€ Crist.

Rubio was responding to Governor Crist’s politically expedient ā€˜flip-flops’ on the issues, when Governor Crist lost it and began a rant that was aimed to talk over Rubio, simply to try to muzzle Rubio from laying a smackdown on him by detailing the reasons for the Governor’s change in party affiliation and the notorious, well documented changes in his positions on the issues.

Rubio delivered the line of the campaign when he said that he had been heckled before from the audience, but never by one of his opponents on stage. Rubio called Crist a ā€œhecklerā€ several times during the exchange.

via ā€œHecklerā€ Disrupts Florida U.S. Senate Debate | The Shark Tank.

Charlie Crist is a god-damned moron and an embarrassment to the Republican Party. Sometimes, I think this dude makes Palin look sane. The man lost the damned primary and now, he is running as an independent — what an idiot. When he loses, it will be only a good thing. 😔

Welcome to my world! – 60 Minutes Admits Unemployment is Actually 17%, 22% in California

Welcome to my World people! I have been out of work since 2005. I went to college to get a CDL A License, think that my would get easier; instead, it get much more complex.

JammieWearingFool Says:

I nearly fell out of my chair tonight when 60 Minutes admitted this. Yes, 60 Minutes.

You can bet the White House and their lackeys will be all over them tomorrow. This isn’t news the Democrats need America to hear nine days out of an election.

Video:

Now, I am not going to pull the liberal line and say that Bush was suppressing numbers. However, I do believe that actual number is bigger than many even know. Because some people just do not file for benefits at all. Also too, there are some people who were fired or quit and were never able to file for benefits, because they did not qualify.

Anyhow, welcome to the recession or as I call it — my world. šŸ˜€

Juan Williams hits back at his old employer

I watched this last night and man was Juan Williams angry. You could see it in his eyes. I could, at least.

Here’s Juan really giving it to his former employer:

Turns out, Juan is not only person angry. Check out these quotes, and be sure to follow the links with them.

One thing is for sure, this story is not going away anytime soon. NPR screwed up in a big way and they are going to pay the price —– big time.

This proves what I have known about this type of liberals, which are the “Saul Alinsky” type of liberals, of whom the “New Left” admired and the “Neo Left” studied and learned from; they believe in freedom of speech —- as long as it does not go around their orthodoxy. The minute you stray away from that orthodoxy, they use every Saul Alinsky tactic in the books.

The sad part is; there are some on right that use these same tactics towards those they disagree with, most likely towards those on the left. But sometimes, it is used against people on the right. I ought to know, it was used against me.

That is what separates me from the Neo-Conservative right; I do not believe in using those tactics — at all for any purpose at all. Because it makes us look no different than the left. Which is why I do not ID myself as a Republican or even a Right Winger. I like to think of myself as a Berry Goldwater or Pat Buchanan type. However, I do have disagreements with some of what the Paleo-Con right says or believes.

My feelings on the Iraq War Wikileaks dump

I have one thing to say about the dump by Wikileaks of documents related to the War in Iraq.

War —— is pure hell.

I did not agree with the decision to go into Iraq and I always knew —- always — that this stuff would eventually come out.

It does hurt our guys over there now; which is the goal of the rat bastard that is running the site. I loathe him with every fiber of my being.

However, I believe that this should a be lesson to those who are in places of influential power—- that they should think long and hard, the next time they try to persuade a President to go to war with a Country to further your own political agenda or foreign policy vision that you support.Ā  Going to war to support a Country with zero standing with the United Nations and who was illegally recognized by a sitting President —- always has disastrous results. You would have thought that these idiots would have learned that lesson during the Vietnam era — but, as they say, old dogs never learn new tricks. šŸ™„

It is a sad thing, but it was bound to happen — sooner or later.

Hamilton Nolan continues to prove that he is a liberal putz

Go feast your eyes on it; if you have the stomach to read it:

What a week Juan Williams has had! From mild-mannered NPR analyst and Fox News liberal stand-in to multimillionaire full-time Fox News guy, thanks to one dumb comment. Fair warning, Juan: you’re about to throw away your entire career. Needlessly.

Ever heard that little tune, “Everyone’s a Little Bit Racist”? It’s quite true. Even you, Juan. Look, we don’t think you’re any more bigoted than the average person. In the circles in which you run, you’re probably much less bigoted than the average person. But saying that you fear people who look like Muslims is a bigoted statement.

But, really, you don’t have to let that fuck you up! Simply acknowledge what it is, apologize, and move on. You’re a respected black journalist with a long track record of civil rights journalism. (Although not as respected as you were before your Fox News pundit days began). You can overcome one dumb statement. Apologize! Vow to improve your character! Move on. — Read the rest at the liberal rag Gawker.com

Obviously, this liberal douche nozzle never reads anything other than liberal Blogs; because if he had actually read, say, my blog or hotair.com, he would know that Juan Williams is not the only one saying what Juan said on Bill O’Reilly’s show. So, obviously, the only person here that is making the mistake — is this liberal moron Hamilton Nolan.Ā  Nolan is, from what I assume; some white liberal elitist, who thinks because he is one of those enlightened liberals, that it gives him the right to tell Juan Williams what to think, feel and say.

This is all, as I have written about many times on this blog; just your typical liberal elite mentality, when it comes to minorities. We saw this with Rick Sanchez; which caused him to go off on an Anti-Semitic rant; and now were are seeing with Juan Williams. It is a fact, that liberals, like this Nolan idiot, are under some sort of delusion that they are entitled to tell Juan Williams how to think, feel and act. The funny thing is, 50 years ago, these same liberal Democrats, were still lynching black men, like Juan. Which is what happened this time — except it did not involve rope and trees; it involved a white woman and her friends at a public-funded media outlet. So, nothing has changed, at all —Ā  just the methods — instead of trees and rope — they just fired the man. Luckily for Juan, I would assume.

Juan Williams talks more about his firing from NPR

I know, I know…. At this point, even I am sick of writing about it. The man got fired, and got a nice deal from Fox. But he is not letting this one go; at least not right away. I cannot say that I blame him either. I mean, Liberals are supposed to be the tolerant ones and something like this happens —- it just kills that Meme totally.

Here he is with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos: (H/T HotAir.com)

Now before anyone says, “Oh, that is just his opinion!” Think again, looks like Mr. Williams is not only one feeling the way he does:

As an Arab-American of Muslim descent, I am not offended by this because in all honesty I have had the same reaction in similar circumstances. In Berlin a couple of years ago, my flight was delayed because, we were told, one of the passengers, who was in a wheelchair, needed extra assistance. When she finally was brought into the waiting area, she was covered from head to toe in traditional Muslim dress and only her eyes were visible. What happened? I grew nervous. I got on the plane just the same, but with trepidation.

Was my response rational? Yes and no.

It was not Muslims in traditional garb who hijacked those planes on 9/11, and it certainly was not Muslim women in veils and wheelchairs. If anything, an Islamist terrorist wants to blend in, not stand out.

However, it was not a traditional sort of terrorist attack I feared in this case, but perhaps something unexpected: a traditional Muslim woman in a veil, confined to a wheelchair, who was loaded with explosives.

That may make me guilty of an overactive imagination, but perhaps not. Not that many years later, a young Muslim on an international flight into Detroit tried to light explosives in his underwear.

I mention all this for one main reason. I grew up surrounded by Islamic culture, went to Islamic events, and was used to seeing women in traditional Muslim clothing, and yet when that woman appeared at the Berlin airport, I was scared.

That’s all Mr. Williams was saying. He didn’t say that they should be removed from the plane, treated differently, or anything close to that. He simply said he got nervous. And for that, he was fired.

The reality is that when Muslims cease to be the main perpetrators of terrorism in the world, such fears about traditional garb are bound to vanish. Until such time, the anxiety will remain. In the long run, it’s what we do with such fears that matters, not that we have them.

But regarding what happened to Mr. Williams, no one should tolerate such intolerant behavior on the part of NPR. This broadcast network is paid for by the American taxpayers, and as such we all have a stake in its decisions.

Anyone who cares about freedom of speech should protest what has been done to this decent and fair man. And even if that were not the case, even if Mr. Williams’ views made him a detestable ogre to most, he still has the right to voice them. For many Americans, NPR’s consistent tilt to the left has caused them to reject it as a viable source of news.

NPR often embodies the very things it claims to stand against: unfairness, narrow-mindedness and reactionary policies.

I ask all Americans of conscience, most particularly those of Arab and/or Muslim descent, to protest the firing of Juan Williams and to demand that public funding to NPR cease until Mr. Williams’s good name has been cleared and he has been rehired (if he still wants to work for this network).

We deserve better from a public radio network funded by taxpayer money.

I have no idea what that man’s politics is, or what party he votes for — but even I cannot argue with that.

President George W. Bush talks about his book Decision Points

(H/T HotAir.com)

You can buy President George W. Bush’s Book here:

Disclosure: A percentage of the purchase cost of this book goes to me, at not additional cost to the customer.

Also, please note; I did not always agree with the decisions that George W. Bush made while he was in office. However, considering what we have now for a President — I have to respect this man. He was, for all of his faults, a leader. Again, I did not agree with everything he did — especially his decision to go to war in Iraq — I also disagree with his idea of exporting democracy to other countries; which is a hallmark of Wilsonian foreign policy. However, I will give the man the respect and honor he does the deserve. That is what separates me from the left — they steadfastly refuse to respect the man and the office. I respect the man and the office; I just do not agree on the policies. I can separate the two, liberals cannot.

Video: Juan Williams responds to his firing by NPR

Well, there seems to be push back from Juan Williams and his supporters in response to his firing by NPR.

Video:

Needless to say, Bill O’Reilly is out for blood….. NPR’s Blood! 😯

Media Bistro has the story:

As we reported early this morning, Juan Williams was fired from his news analyst role at NPR for comments he made on Fox News Channel earlier in the week. Williams, who’s been an FNC contributor for 13 years, was back on the network this morning.

In a taped soundbite during ā€œHappening Now,ā€ Williams explained how his NPR firing went down during a cell phone conversation with the head of news at NPR: ā€œI said, ā€˜you mean I don’t get the chance to come in and do this eyeball-to-eyeball?’ I’ve been there for more than 10 years.ā€ TVNewser has learned from a Fox insider that SVP of News Michael Clemente conducted the interview.

I would be willing to bet; that the O’Reilly Factor is going to be some majorly hot TV to watch tonight! I’ll be there… šŸ˜€

This is unreal and must have broken after I went to bed. Juan Williams who is a contributor at Fox News, was fired from NPR and for what? This:

The Story via NYT:

NPR has terminated its contract with Juan Williams, one of its senior news analysts, after he made comments about Muslims on the Fox News Channel.

NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

So True....

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.

He continued: ā€œI mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.ā€

Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. ā€œHe said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,ā€ Mr. Williams said.

NPR said in its statement that the remarks ā€œwere inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.ā€

The public radio organization said it thanked him for many years of service. Mr. Williams did not immediately respond on Wednesday night to an e-mail seeking comment.

Mr. Williams’s contributions on Fox raised eyebrows at NPR in the past. In February 2009, NPR said it had asked that he stop being identified on ā€œThe O’Reilly Factorā€ as a ā€œsenior correspondent for NPR,ā€ even though that title was accurate.

Alicia C. Shepard, the NPR ombudswoman, said at the time that Mr. Williams was a ā€œlightning rodā€ for the public radio organization in part because he ā€œtends to speak one way on NPR and another on Fox.ā€

Ms. Shepard said she had received 378 listener e-mails in 2008 listing complaints and frustrations about Mr. Williams.

The real sick part is? We fund that intolerance; yes, with our hard earned tax dollars. That is the part that really cheeses me off, NPR is a Government funded enterprise. It is also bastion of liberalism and has been, for years. That needs to stop.

There is a big Memeorandum thread on this one; the reaction is pretty much huge in the Blogosphere. Also at Mediagazer.

If Rachel Maddow does not retract this statement, she should be FIRED!

Video:

The Story via NewsBusters:

“Lean Forward,” MSNBC’s new slogan suggests. The better to stick a shiv in your opponent’s back.
Ethics-averse Rachel Maddow did exactly that on her MSNBC show last night. After disparaging Republican candidates for their gall in criticizing reckless federal spending and government-controlled health care, Maddow made this jaw-dropper of a claim —

MADDOW: Yes, this has happened to a smaller degree before. In 1994, in the first mid-term election after the last Democratic president was elected, we got a slate of candidates that included Helen Chenoweth of Idaho and Steve Stockman of Texas. These two were so close to the militia movement in this country that Mr. Stockman actually received advance notice that the Oklahoma City bombing was going to happen.

… and by that, Maddow implies, Stockman consigned 168 innocent people to death. Except that Stockman received no such prior, uh, “notice” (note how Maddow did not say “warning”) , which explains why Maddow neglected to attribute this outlandish assertion to a source, any source.

Problem is, she’d have trouble doing so beyond left-wing fever swamps comparable to MSNBC. A perfunctory search through Google quickly reveals evidence refuting Maddow’s claim.
For example, on April 25, 1995, six days after the destruction of the Murrah federal building, the Dallas Morning News ran this story under the headline, “Fax referring to bombing sent by ex-GOP Texas official, party aide says” —

Mr. Stockman on Sunday denied reports that his office passed the fax to the National Rifle Association and failed to give it to the FBI. Yesterday he released a letter to the FBI confirming his version of events.
Mr. Stockman also said that a staff member had given the fax to the NRA without his permission. He said he was considering whether to discipline the aide.
Telephone toll records indicate that the fax was sent about 50 minutes after the bombing, a federal official said.

According to the Morning News, a hand-written message on the fax read, “First update. Bldg 7 to 10 floors only. Military people on scene — BATF/FBI. Bomb threat received last week. Perpetrator unknown at this time. Oklahoma.” The machine that sent the fax to Stockman stamped “Wolverine” at the top of the page, the Morning News reported.
That Stockman received the fax after the bombing was also reported in a June 22, 1995 column in the Houston Press by Jim Simmon, titled “God, Guns and Kombucha: Is Steve Stockman a committed crackpot, or just a hapless goofball?”As its headline suggests, this was hardly a puff piece favorable toward Stockman. Nonetheless, Simmon wrote —

Contrary to suggestions in some earlier reports, Stockman’s office had received the fax after the bombing and promptly passed it on to the FBI. (Ironically, the initial misunderstanding about the fax was propagated by the National Rifle Association, Stockman’s chief patron.)

I’ll venture a guess that self-proclaimed geek Maddow not only has access to computers, but that those computers are connected to the Internet — leading to all sorts of wondrous possible discoveries (and, alas, inconvenient facts), assuming a person is inclined to look.

This is nothing more than straight up lying on the air; she should be fired, and if MSNBC has an ounce of integrity; they would terminate her employment. However, because I know that network well, I know that nothing will happen.

What really pisses me off about this whole thing, is this:

Maddow’s mention of late congresswoman Helen Chenoweth-Hage is even more gratuitous than her attempt at character assassination of Stockman. Chenoweth and Stockman “were so close to the militia movement,” Maddow says, that he, Stockman, but not she, Chenoweth, received “advance notice” of the bombing. Chenoweth-Hage, killed in a 2006 car accident, is no longer able to defend herself. Maddow didn’t give Stockman the chance.

Slandering dead people, that is the Democratic Party of today. šŸ™„Ā  Which is why I will never vote for that party; ever again. Sarcastic smile

Go read the rest of that. It is some interesting reading. Liberals in the Country have it so backward. Criminals are celebrated, while American Patriots are condemned.

Meh.

Just how I am feeling about politics today.

I mean, unless you’re into the Stupid, The even more stupid, The outright boneheaded, and the very silly.

I am just not into it anymore.

I’m getting old of it. Politics anymore; has just gotten stupid —- and I am just not into stupid.

I will be voting come November, most likely Republican…. unless I change my mind at the last second and just vote libertarian.

Anyhow, that’s what’s new here. I may post some tommorow. But today —- I just ain’t into it.

WOW: VFW dissolves PAC Board over endorsements

This is pretty wild here!

This comes via Blackfive, it’s a letter from the head honcho of the VFW:

I have reviewed the Political Action Committee (PAC) Board of Directors’ response
to our request to rescind this year’ s Congressional endorsements. I disagree with their
assessment.

It is now evident to most of the VFW leadership, both National and especially the
departments, that the VFW has been subjected to extreme negative publicity throughout
the nation, and the recent endorsement decisions have, in fact, harmed the VFW’ s
reputation and future ability to fulfill our mission.

I cannot let this erosion of public support for our great organization continue. The
apparent lack of the committee to address these concerns will lead to a proposal by me,
as Commander-in-Chief, to amend the by-laws at the 112th National Convention for
the purpose of dissolving the PAC. Meanwhile, under the authority granted to me as
Commander-in-Chief in section 619 of the VFW National By-Laws and under section
620 of the Manual of Procedure, I am withdrawing all PAC appointments effective
October 15, 2010.

Accordingly, I’ m asking the council for a vote of ā€œ no confidenceā€ in the VFW PAC as
indicated on the enclosed ballot.

Giggle of the Day

Today’s giggle comes from the Texas CHL Forum:

This week we had our tables out 9AM-5PM each day. We recruited over 100 new members (now we have about 1,389 members), sold 110 shirts total, and even converted a few anti’s. We also had our monthly meeting this week with Mr. Wisdom from Texas Law Shield as our guest speaker. All in all, it was a good week with little opposition. We did have an incident of someone tearing down our fliers and lighting them on fire in one of the buildings, but they were luckily arrested for attempted arson.

Say Uncle, who is a most awesome Gun Blogger; snarks:

They don’t trust you with guns. I mean, look what you can do with matches.

Indeed. Nothing says, “I hate guns and love peace” more than ripping down signs and setting them on fire. šŸ˜† šŸ˜›

Germany is learning a lesson, that America will learn one day.

First the video:

The Story:

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel: “lmmigrants should learn to speak German”

Attempts to build a multicultural society in Germany have “utterly failed”, Chancellor Angela Merkel says.

She said the so-called “multikulti” concept – where people would “live side-by-side” happily – did not work, and immigrants needed to do more to integrate – including learning German.

The comments come amid rising anti-immigration feeling in Germany.

A recent survey suggested more than 30% of people believed the country was “overrun by foreigners”.

The study – by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation think-tank – also showed that roughly the same number thought that some 16 million of Germany’s immigrants or people with foreign origins had come to the country for its social benefits.

via BBC News – Merkel says German multicultural society has failed.

Indeed. It is a lesson that America will learn one day; one way or another — that Multiculturalism does not work. Because those who come in, will want to push those who were there first out. We here in America are occupied by three major cultures and basically they are fighting for control over the soul of America. Americans who are not a part of these cultures need to rise up and demand that their political leaders expel both of these cultures out, before it is too late. However, because I am realist, and not living in some sort of fantasy-land. I know that this will never happen here in America; because the one major occupying culture is so will protected, that flushing them out of this Country would be next to impossible. I mean, when one of this cultures has a death grip on American politics, through a powerful lobby group and basically controls a vast amount of Media, Banking and Government — what can anyone do to remove them?

My Kudo’s to Merkel for attempting to call the situation in Germany for what it really is; and that is a occupation of the Country of Germany by outsiders.
