Hillary Clinton’s campaign is at $31 million…in debt….

No wonder Sen. Hillary Clinton was so late filing her required campaign financial reports Tuesday night. Her political team didn’t want the shocking news in it to overshadow her lopsided thumping of Sen. Barack Obama in Kentucky.

Now comes the morning after, pay-up time. Clinton’s campaign debt has now soared to nearly $31 million, according to numbers crunched early this morning by The Times’ campaign finance guru, Dan Morain.

She added another $9.5 million in unpaid bills to venders this past month alone, pushing her total debt to venders and herself to the new astronomical figure, about a 50% debt increase in one month.

According to a campaign release put out Tuesday evening as election returns revealed her big win in Kentucky and loss in Oregon, Clinton raised "approximately $22 million" from other people in April. The release also touted that $10 million had poured in within 48 hours of another lopsided Clinton victory over Obama, that one in Pennsylvania, and said it was the second best fundraising month of her entire campaign.

But the number collected is actually closer to $21 million and the release also neglected to mention that she spent $28.9 million, nearly $8 million more than she took in. She used personal loans to make up part of the difference. She also delayed payments to consultants. Including the $9.5 million in unpaid bills from April, she owes consultants and other venders $19.5 million.

Not to mention the total $11.4 million she has loaned herself.

You know, I just thought about it, and this is totally mind boggling… Hillary Clinton owes as much money as Barack Obama raised last quarter. Good Lord. Rolling Eyes All this, so she might be able to score a V.P. Spot on his ticket. I tend to believe that when Carly Simon wrote that song, you know the one about being vain, she was writing it about Hillary. Hee hee

The latest fundraising numbers are in, and the figures are astronomical. 

Obama brought in $31.9 Million, Clinton Hauled in between 10 and 20 Million… and lastly John McCain brought in around $18 Million.

Now you tell me, who’s winning this election?

I know it’s for an election and all, but could you imagine having, just half of that kind of money? Holy hell, I could live comfortably for life. A nice house out in the country, on about 60 acres of land. Maybe something like this here. Yes, I will confess, I have always wanted to live out in the woods.

*shakes head*

Okay back to reality here. If these numbers are any indication as to whom is going to win this election, I would say that Obama has it all lined up.

The following might actually qualify as the lamest spin on a news story, ever…. 

The Kool-Aid Drinking, Knee Jerk Right is now dismissing Barack Obama’s 75.000+ turn out in Oregon as bogus.

These tone deaf, torture apologists, are saying that the ONLY reason that these people turned out, was to see a group called "The Decemberists". An independent rock group.

I mean, I have been around quite a while, and I have heard quite the deal of spin in my day, Hillary Clinton’s latest being a perfect example as of late. But this stuff here is about the stupidest, that I have heard in a long while.

I mean, this is what the Democrats have to run against, people that cannot provide a reasoned answer to Barack Obama’s message of change and hope and so, the conservatives will stoop to smears and lies and outright stupidity?

If this is what they’re planning for the General, they deserve to get their preverbal asses handed to them in November.

Former New York City Mayor Edward Koch, one of the country’s most prominent Democrats, says he may cross over and back Republican Sen. John McCain for president.

In an exclusive Newsmax interview, Koch says McCain “has no equal” when it comes to opposing Islamic terrorism. Though Koch says he disagrees with most of McCain’s positions on domestic issues, he could support him because of his strong national security credentials.

Koch carries significant weight with many Jewish Democrats in New York and across the country. He also has a history of playing the maverick and crossing party lines.

The only reason I gave the green light on this Blog posting is because Koch has a Column over on NewsMax. Recently he has posted on NewsMax, that he does not trust Obama on National Security Issues.

I just wonder, what, if any, effect will this have on Obama’s ability to get elected, will this cause any shake up in the super-delegate count? Will this affect the surge in Super-delegates?

I just wonder, if this means that the Reagan Democrats are just not being won over by Obama and his slick speeches?

The Republicans seem to have come to the same conclusion and a GOP Internet campaign in Tennessee has an ad featuring Michelle Obama’s comments during the long Democratic campaign that "for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country."

Michelle Obama was asked about the ad on "GMA," but her husband said, "Let me just interject on this."

"The GOP, should I be the nominee, I think can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record," Obama said. "I’ve been in public life for 20 years. I expect them to pore through everything that I’ve said, every utterance, every statement. And to paint it in the most undesirable light possible. That’s what they do."

"But I do want to say this to the GOP. If they think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful. Because that I find unacceptable," he said.

Obama praised his wife’s patriotism and said that for Republicans "to try to distort or to play snippets of her remarks in ways that are unflattering to her I think is just low class … and especially for people who purport to be promoters of family values, who claim that they are protectors of the values and ideals and the decency of the American people to start attacking my wife in a political campaign I think is detestable."

Here’s a wake up call for you, Barry.

75,000 people flock to see Barack Obama in Oregon

That is, I must say, absolutely amazing.

Via MSNBC:

Per the Obama campaign, 75,000 people (60,000 in the gates and 15,000 outside of them) turned out in Portland to hear Obama speak there this afternoon — making it the largest Obama crowd to date.

Duane Bray, the battalion chief with Portland Fire and Rescue, validated that crowd estimate, the campaign says.

*** UPDATE *** Here’s the dispatch from NBC/NJ’s Athena Jones… Some 75,000 people flocked to Portland’s waterfront Sunday to watch Barack Obama speak, making it the biggest rally the campaign has held to date. Thousands stood on the lawn, dozens watched from boats and from the bridge stretching across the Willamette River. A few kayakers held their paddles and tried to keep their kayaks straight as they watched the candidate, who stood on a makeshift platform.

That’s amazing, and this is just the primary. Unbelievable. Here’s some pics:

There’s just no way that John McCain can bring that sort of a crowd… It just cannot happen. I must admit, as much as I disagree with some, but not all, of his politics, I am quite impressed with his ability to draw a crowd.

I don’t think that I’ve seen anything like that, on the Conservative side since Ronald Reagan. I believe that people just want change, and they see Barack Obama as the last great hope for America. I just hope he can deliver.

If this is any indication of what the General election is going to be like, I suspect there’s going to be a handy defeat, and it is not going to be the Democrats.

This above is what every political pundit worried about, when it was clear that the race was down to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. However, at the time, they, being he pundits, thought that the race would be over, before anything like this could manifest itself.

Of course, this is the type of identity politics that Democrat Party is infamous for. Now that Hillary has basically lost, the feminist crowd is going to attempt paint Obama as some sort of sexist.

Mike Huckabee did what is most likely the stupidest thing he’s ever done.

Well, besides running for President.

Joking about shooting at a President, a President getting shot at, and anything else of that sort, is not funny, at all, end of story, if one does it, in a public setting, such as this, they should be shunned. I mean, writing it on a blog is one thing, but saying it, at a public speech, is very stupid, joking or not, it was bad taste.

Not to mention, especially seeing how Obama is under extremely high secret service protection, because of threats made by idiots, who ought to be put under the jail and never see the light of day, ever again.

According to Rachel Maddow, who is subbing for Keith Olbermann tonight, Huckabee has issued a statement apologizing. Smart move, bubba, But don’t do stupid stuff like that. It only makes you look like a total idiot.

One of the best "Hardball" shows…….ever!

You know, whether you like Chris Matthews or Loathe him, one thing cannot be argued, he does know his stuff. He did get one fact wrong yesterday. He most likely misspoke, but he did, for once, put a right wing talking head in his rightful place. I watched that little debacle unravel on MSNBC, and I can honestly say, I wish Chris Matthews would have pulled a Bill O’Reilly and cut that idiot’s microphone off, he was wrong, from the start, and when taken to the carpet on a point and asked a simple question, he was too damn stupid to answer it.

Thank you Chris Matthews for doing and saying, what many of us Americans many Americans are feeling right about now.

Good God. What is wrong with her? The Clintons and their campaign staff don’t give a damn that they are now hurting our electoral chances in the fall against McCain and against the Republicans in Congress. Their campaign isn’t happening in some vacuum, and they know it. Our candidates can’t fundraise because of her. Obama can’t focus on McCain because of her. Obama is wasting money on HER, rather than spending it on McCain, because of her. EMILY’s List, and AFSCME, and the American Federation of Teachers and others are wasting their members’ money on her now-failed race – money that they could be spending, should be spending, on other real races, races that haven’t already lost. She can’t win, the math says she lost the nomination, but she doesn’t give a damn. She’s going to stay in the race like some spoiled hateful egotistical brat.

Why is the media even covering her? The only stories that should be written about Hillary Clinton is how much damage she’s causing our party. How she’s hurting fundraising at the DNC – they even admitted it, they’re not raising the money they need to fight John McCain because of this woman. Why don’t you write some stories about how she is hurting our candidates who can’t fundraise because of her? How she has forced EMILY’s List and AFSCME and the AFT to waste their money because of her. How she has caused a civil war in the Netroots. Five months ago we all felt that we had 3 great candidates. Now, far too many of us loathe Hillary Clinton, and she has done her racist best to ensure that her supporters can’t stand Barack Obama either.

The Clintons don’t give a damn about our party. Their party, their church, is themselves. To hell with everyone else. I actually liked Hillary up until a few months ago. Other bloggers used to tell me that Joe and I were too nice to Hillary. People just assumed that we were endorsing her. Now I actually loathe her. She makes me yell at the TV like she’s George Bush, and no one other than George Bush makes me yell at the TV – until now. I actually can’t stand her or her husband any more. I defended her. I defended her husband. And now I’m actually wondering if the Republicans weren’t right about them. That’s how bad she has damaged her reputation. People who actually liked you, who actually helped you, who actually defended you, LOATHE you now. Call me a Clinton-hater all you like, but people like me were the ones who had your back. And we never will again.

Let me close with what Mike Huckabee just said on MSNBC:

"The happiest person in America tonight is John McCain."

Wow! Surprise  I do believe the knives are out and the poop stinky is about to hit the fan. This ought to be interesting to watch. I mean, don’t get me wrong, he does have a point. But man, I never thought I’d see that out of a Liberal Blogger.

I guess he is just expressing what many Bloggers are feeling. We’re just tired of it. I know I am. Let’s move on to the general, why drag it out? It’s silly.

In case any of you don’t remember, Liberal filmmaker and general mouth piece of the Communist, Socialist, Liberal movement in America, produced a film called "Fahrenheit 9/11" in which he attempted to lay the blame for the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the feet of President George W. Bush.

He also made a film called "Sicko", No, it wasn’t his autobiography. However, it was basically a Liberal Propaganda film advocating the idea of socialized medicine in this country. Another Communist doctrine and practice.  It is to be noted, this is one of B. Hessian Obama’s friends.

Like most people in Mingo County, West Virginia, Leonard Simpson is a lifelong Democrat. But given a choice between Barack Obama and John McCain in November, the 67-year-old retired coalminer would vote Republican.

“I heard that Obama is a Muslim and his wife’s an atheist,” said Mr Simpson, drawing on a cigarette outside the fire station in Williamson, a coal mining town of 3,400 people surrounded by lush wooded hillsides.

Okay before anyone hammers me in the comments section. I know he’s not a Muslim. We’ve established that fact. But he is a Marxist. At least his Pastor is. I would suspect that if B. Hussein Obama spent as many years as he did in that Church in Chicago, he most likely subscribes to the thought process possessed by his Pastor.

“Worst experience I ever had on television”

I shall resist the temptation of calling him a whiny Liberal. He does make a valid point, that CNN is one of the most Liberal biased cable television networks out there. I ought to know, I used to watch CNN with Religious devotion, from day we moved to Lincoln Park from Detroit. I never was much of a Fox News watcher, I do know the difference between Political and Religious/Zionist Propaganda and legit news and political coverage.

As to the bias against Hillary Clinton, I have no idea, I do not watch that network any longer. I stopped watching after CNN ran a special called “What is a Christian?” Which I felt was nothing more than a veiled slap in the face towards Christianity. I mean, they’ve never, ever ran a special called, “What is a Muslim?” or “What is a Jew?” or anything of that sort. Christians in this piece were painted is Religion zealots and psychotic crazy people.

I personally believe that Anderson Hays Cooper Vanderbilt should stick to making blue jeans with his mommy and quit trying to be a legit journalist. Because quite frankly, I find his work vomit provoking and along the lines of the National Enquirer.

I have written this before, to no response or real drama, I often wonder, if Anderson would have jumped, instead of Carter, would the world be a better place? I really wonder.

The goodness sakes people, Let the Wright thing GO, PLEASE!

Good early morning…. I wasn’t going to write much today, because my mind is on that piece of junk car of mine and other stuff, but I’m getting to the point of, I can’t take it anymore!

When will the media just stop talking about the stupid Rev. Wright story!?! I mean, seriously people! Even Newt Gingrich said to stop:

The Republican brand has been so badly damaged that if Republicans try to run an anti-Obama, anti- Reverend Wright, or (if Senator Clinton wins), anti-Clinton campaign, they are simply going to fail.

This model has already been tested with disastrous results.

In 2006, there were six incumbent Republican Senators who had plenty of money, the advantage of incumbency, and traditionally successful consultants.

But the voters in all six states had adopted a simple position: “Not you.” No matter what the GOP Senators attacked their opponents with, the voters shrugged off the attacks and returned to, “Not you.”

The danger for House and Senate Republicans in 2008 is that the voters will say, “Not the Republicans.”

But yet, we STILL have media types that just continue to want to recycle this story, again, this time accusing the media of not reporting on it, fast enough.

Okay, here’s a little bit of dose of reality for the hosebag idiot that wrote this story.

The mainstream media did not first report this story, it originated out of the political blogging world. I remember when the Blogs first started reporting on it. It was about 2 months ago or so. Finally, after not being able to ignore it any longer, the MSM started reporting on it, first Fox News and then the rest followed suit. and of course, they put in on repeat mode until the candidate in question, ended up having to sever all ties with Rev. Wright, and until people, like myself, were ready pull what little hair we have left out, for having to hear the damn story, repeated 24 freakin’ 7 on the television, radio and yes, on most websites that we ready daily.

The point I am trying to make is this, the Obama-Wright story was not even a story, until US BLOGGERS brought it up, once in the MSM’s hands, it took a life unto it’s own, almost to the point of becoming a parody of itself. Of course, Wright did not help matters either by going on TV and acting like total idiot himself. Thereby giving the story more life. Which I also found to be quite annoying, and now the story is basically a dead issue, and quite frankly, I wish the media would just drop the damn story and move on to the next thing, like getting fucking Hillary Clinton out of this damn race, so we can move on to the next thing, like the General Election!

Okay, I feel better now….
