How come the media is not reporting this? — FBI links shooting at Marine Corps recruiting station to 2 others

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The FBI said on Thursday that it has linked a shooting at a Marine Corps recruiting station in a Virginia suburb outside the U.S. capital to two other shootings at the Pentagon and a Marine Corps museum.
“A shooting at a military-related facility in Chantilly, Va., has been linked to two earlier shootings at similar facilities, laboratory tests show,” the FBI said in a statement, adding that it would not release more details.
Investigators believe a high-powered rifle was used to fire up to seven shots at the Pentagon, shattering two windows, on October 19. The FBI said it had linked that shooting to another two days earlier at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, in Triangle, Virginia, 36 miles south of Washington.
No one was injured in the shootings and the FBI said they “all involved shots fired into vacant parts of the buildings.”
The FBI said it was investigating, along with local authorities, and asked for help from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at the three sites.
The Pentagon said it was tightening security for this weekend’s Marine Corps marathon in the wake of the shootings.

My first reaction was, basically, to chuckle a bit. What happened was this; I was trying to edit an ad spot here a few days ago and the server that handles the ad editing — was slow, as in very, very, slow. Therefore, I hopped over to the facebook page and in so many words, told the idiots to fix their stupid slow server. I guess Henry, the man that owns BlogAds, saw it and someone got their butt chewed for it. I suspect that might have been Marc. Therefore, in retaliation, I am tossed off the service.
Here is why this really does not matter at all. I can count on one hand, how many ads I have gotten with BlogAds, since I started using it again — when I switched sides politically. I only got five or maybe six paying ads on the side. When I was a left of center Blogger, I got exactly ZERO ads. As a āRight of Centerā Blogger, I even was a part of a few hives, or Ad Groups. Those paid nothing as well. I mean, literally no ads came from the majority of them; except maybe the so-called āConservativeā hive. I got a few through there. I ended up leaving that hive, because of the actions of its owner. Of whom, I felt was a bit of an asshole towards David Frum. Other than this, I was not ārolling in the doughā as some might have assumed —- much quite the opposite — I never made much of anything with Blogads at all. All of those ads, that you might have seen in the sidebars, in the Blogads, ad sections, were free ads that I ran, either to promote stuff that I was selling on zazzle or as a favor to others who asked for the help.
Frankly, it is the opinion of this writer, that Blogads day has come and gone; Blogads came on the scene in 2002 and became big in 2004, during the election. However, much has changed since then. Google Adsense got smart and started doing graphical ads — not to mention the fact that their pricing structure is a bit saner for advertisers. In addition, there is this little thing. I believe in the time old business practice of āthe Customer is always right,ā no matter how abusive, nasty or whatever, the customer is always right. Frankly, if the staff over at Blogads cannot handle being yelled at, because of their subpar servers, then they should shut the company down and leave the advertising business.
Frankly, I am glad to be severed from that company and their joke of an advertising system, which benefits the bigger bloggers and leaves the smaller people like others and me on there in the cold. Therefore, I can honestly say, there was no big loss, at least not on my part.
In conclusion, I simply say to Blogads —- Goodbye and good luck. I wish you the best; however, I suspect that BlogAds will be going the way of other foolhardy ad businesses of the pre-economic bubble era — out of business, especially if they continue with this philosophy that the staff is always right.

We saw this with Rick Sanchez; which caused him to go off on an Anti-Semitic rant; and now were are seeing with Juan Williams. It is a fact, that liberals, like this Nolan idiot, are under some sort of delusion that they are entitled to tell Juan Williams how to think, feel and act. The funny thing is, 50 years ago, these same liberal Democrats, were still lynching black men, like Juan. Which is what happened this time — except it did not involve rope and trees; it involved a white woman and her friends at a public-funded media outlet. So, nothing has changed, at all —Ā just the methods — instead of trees and rope — they just fired the man. Luckily for Juan, I would assume.

In a taped soundbite during āHappening Now,ā Williams explained how his NPR firing went down during a cell phone conversation with the head of news at NPR: āI said, āyou mean I donāt get the chance to come in and do this eyeball-to-eyeball?ā Iāve been there for more than 10 years.ā TVNewser has learned from a Fox insider that SVP of News Michael Clemente conducted the interview.

NPR has terminated its contract with Juan Williams, one of its senior news analysts, after he made comments about Muslims on the Fox News Channel.
NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. OāReilly.
He continued: āI mean, look, Bill, Iām not a bigot. You know the kind of books Iāve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.ā
Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. āHe said the war with Muslims, Americaās war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I donāt think thereās any way to get away from these facts,ā Mr. Williams said.
NPR said in its statement that the remarks āwere inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.ā
The public radio organization said it thanked him for many years of service. Mr. Williams did not immediately respond on Wednesday night to an e-mail seeking comment.
Mr. Williamsās contributions on Fox raised eyebrows at NPR in the past. In February 2009, NPR said it had asked that he stop being identified on āThe OāReilly Factorā as a āsenior correspondent for NPR,ā even though that title was accurate.
Alicia C. Shepard, the NPR ombudswoman, said at the time that Mr. Williams was a ālightning rodā for the public radio organization in part because he ātends to speak one way on NPR and another on Fox.ā
Ms. Shepard said she had received 378 listener e-mails in 2008 listing complaints and frustrations about Mr. Williams.
The real sick part is? We fund that intolerance; yes, with our hard earned tax dollars. That is the part that really cheeses me off, NPR is a Government funded enterprise. It is also bastion of liberalism and has been, for years. That needs to stop.

“Lean Forward,” MSNBC’s new slogan suggests. The better to stick a shiv in your opponent’s back.
Ethics-averse Rachel Maddow did exactly that on her MSNBC show last night. After disparaging Republican candidates for their gall in criticizing reckless federal spending and government-controlled health care, Maddow made this jaw-dropper of a claim —MADDOW: Yes, this has happened to a smaller degree before. In 1994, in the first mid-term election after the last Democratic president was elected, we got a slate of candidates that included Helen Chenoweth of Idaho and Steve Stockman of Texas. These two were so close to the militia movement in this country that Mr. Stockman actually received advance notice that the Oklahoma City bombing was going to happen.
… and by that, Maddow implies, Stockman consigned 168 innocent people to death. Except that Stockman received no such prior, uh, “notice” (note how Maddow did not say “warning”) , which explains why Maddow neglected to attribute this outlandish assertion to a source, any source.
Problem is, she’d have trouble doing so beyond left-wing fever swamps comparable to MSNBC. A perfunctory search through Google quickly reveals evidence refuting Maddow’s claim.
For example, on April 25, 1995, six days after the destruction of the Murrah federal building, the Dallas Morning News ran this story under the headline, “Fax referring to bombing sent by ex-GOP Texas official, party aide says” —Mr. Stockman on Sunday denied reports that his office passed the fax to the National Rifle Association and failed to give it to the FBI. Yesterday he released a letter to the FBI confirming his version of events.
Mr. Stockman also said that a staff member had given the fax to the NRA without his permission. He said he was considering whether to discipline the aide.
Telephone toll records indicate that the fax was sent about 50 minutes after the bombing, a federal official said.According to the Morning News, a hand-written message on the fax read, “First update. Bldg 7 to 10 floors only. Military people on scene — BATF/FBI. Bomb threat received last week. Perpetrator unknown at this time. Oklahoma.” The machine that sent the fax to Stockman stamped “Wolverine” at the top of the page, the Morning News reported.
That Stockman received the fax after the bombing was also reported in a June 22, 1995 column in the Houston Press by Jim Simmon, titled “God, Guns and Kombucha: Is Steve Stockman a committed crackpot, or just a hapless goofball?”As its headline suggests, this was hardly a puff piece favorable toward Stockman. Nonetheless, Simmon wrote —Contrary to suggestions in some earlier reports, Stockman’s office had received the fax after the bombing and promptly passed it on to the FBI. (Ironically, the initial misunderstanding about the fax was propagated by the National Rifle Association, Stockman’s chief patron.)
I’ll venture a guess that self-proclaimed geek Maddow not only has access to computers, but that those computers are connected to the Internet — leading to all sorts of wondrous possible discoveries (and, alas, inconvenient facts), assuming a person is inclined to look.
This is nothing more than straight up lying on the air; she should be fired, and if MSNBC has an ounce of integrity; they would terminate her employment. However, because I know that network well, I know that nothing will happen.
What really pisses me off about this whole thing, is this:
Maddow’s mention of late congresswoman Helen Chenoweth-Hage is even more gratuitous than her attempt at character assassination of Stockman. Chenoweth and Stockman “were so close to the militia movement,” Maddow says, that he, Stockman, but not she, Chenoweth, received “advance notice” of the bombing. Chenoweth-Hage, killed in a 2006 car accident, is no longer able to defend herself. Maddow didn’t give Stockman the chance.
Slandering dead people, that is the Democratic Party of today. šĀ Which is why I will never vote for that party; ever again.

TRENTON, Mich. – For the past few days, people haven’t been focused of Jennifer Petkov and that awful Facebook page. They’ve been focused on Kathleen Edward and showing her all of the support possible. However, it now appears Petkov’s alleged bad behavior has her right back in the spotlight and this time she could end up in jail.
“Last summer, she threatened me. Told me she was going to kill me,” said Tana Boling.

Petkov’s been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless driving. Her family put up ten-percent of her $75,000 bond to get her out of jail. This time they weren’t willing to talk to the cameras, but instead of telling us that themselves, they called the cops to be their messengers.
Petkov’s lawyer tells FOX 2 this whole incident was blown way out of proportion and that the Petkovs have surveillance footage to prove it. He believes the footage will be enough to convince the prosecutor to drop the charges.
While he was not willing to show the video to FOX 2, Petkov family friend Jarred Hurd says he’s seen it.
“I think they have over-exaggerated a lot on it,” said Hurd. “The other neighbors make it out to seem like they’re horrible. They are not horrible people.”

Anyone know the skinny on that? Why would any sane family member want to bail out some half psycho woman like this?

I ask you people, why the hell do we have to give the god damned Muslims in this Country some sort of god damned special treatment!?!?!?! Now the argument here is, that if you do not use the term “Radical Muslims”, that you imply that ALL Muslims are terrorists; to which I say, ever read their Koran? I am just saying….

Again, let me say, I agree with both of these people 100 percent; it was Muslims that attacked us on 9/11, it was not Christians, it was not Jews, it was not Hindus; it was Muslims. To say anything other than this, excuses the group that attacked us. What about so-called peace loving Muslims? Well, to that I say this, when the Muslim Community decides to confront, head on, the radical element within their own religion abroad and here in America —- then I might start making that distinction, until that starts happening, all bets are off.
Further more, let me get into something else here. This whole idea, by some, on the liberal left, that Bush did 9/11. Now to normal sane Americans; this idea that President George W. Bush caused or ordered the attacks on 9/11 is pure insanity. But to some of the left, it is a true fact. Honestly, only about 1% actually believe that Bush caused 9/11. The rest of the left, use that little line, out of anger — over losing the 2000 and 2004 elections. I ought to know, I used to vote Democrat, up until 2007, when I decided that the Democratic Party had went too far to the left for even my liking.
This whole idea that Bush caused 9/11 and Democrats calling for a formal investigation into events surrounding 9/11, and also the lead up to the Iraq War is nothing more than political retribution towards the Republican Party and towards George W. Bush —- because the Democrats lost 2000 and 2004. As you all know, in 2000, the Democrats ran an unelectable buffoon named Al Gore. In 2004, Same deal, different person. Losing both of those elections have burned Democrats for years. Hence the continued inferring that Bush caused 9/11. Plus, on top of that, there was the Iraq War; which was the liberal “cause” here, up until someone within the liberal establishment decided that the Iraq War was no longer worth making the entire liberal movement look stupid and they dropped it as a whole. Then there is the afghan war; which the opposition to it, has been rather muted. Because the liberal establishment knows that if they turn on that War that the Democratic Party to the rest of America, will look like the biggest bunch of hypocrites ever. Which they are, but I digress. Either way, these videos just show you; one, the hypocrisy of the liberals and two, how bad that the liberal movement has become, when it comes to freedom of speech.
Come November 2, I will either be voting for Libertarians or Republicans. I have no really decided which; at this point, I am most likely pulling the lever for the Republicans. Because we need to right the ship and the libertarians have never won anything at all, and I want to vote for a winner this time; especially here in Michigan. We have had enough of Democratic failure, me especially, being out of work since 2005, it does really suck. Instead of doing the normal blaming of the Republicans, like some people I know around here do, I am facing reality and saying that Granholm and her polices failed and am voting different.

The Story:
Jennifer Petkov told FOX 2’s Ronnie Dahl Friday night that she never really meant any ill wishes towards Kathleen Edward or her family.
Scott and Jennifer Petkov even went so far as to display a lighted candle on their porch at the same time dozens of strangers were gathering across the street in front of Kathleen’s home.
“If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t do it,” Jennifer Petkov told Ronnie Dahl. “And to that little girl, I apologize if you’ve been hurt. There’s not much more I can say. And hopefully we can live our lives peacefully from now on.”
Actually, what happened was, she got on TV and acted like an arrogant asshole; and did not think or did not know that the story would go viral. Well, it did and they had to endure a shit storm. Now, she is is a bit more humble about it. My Mom, who is usually more forgiving about stuff like this; does not buy this woman’s apology one iota. I will not even get into what she thinks should happen to this woman. Needless to say, I was a bit shocked about what my Mom had to say about it. šÆ
Anyhow, I still think the woman is an asshole; but I also think that she should be left alone. So, if you’ve come here via search engine, and are plotting —- forget about it. She is not worth it, and she should be allowed to live her life in peace. She did apologize on TV, now whether she is sincere or not — is another story. But we have to take it a face value and let her be. I am willing to do so, and so should you.

TRENTON, Mich. – Her family says 7-year-old Kathleen Edward is in the final stages of a degenerative brain disorder diagnosed as Huntington’s Disease – the same disease which killed her mother, Laura, when she was only 24.
Neighbors Jennifer and Scott Petkov, who have been feuding with the family, admitted to posting grim depictions of Laura and Kathleen on Facebook. One photo depicts Laura in the arms of the grim reaper, while the other features Kathleen’s face above a set of crossbones.
The couple also have a coffin hitched to a pick-up truck in front of the house, which they say is nothing more than a Halloween decoration.
Of course, now that the heat is on her, she is now saying, “I sorry!ā
Scott Petkov says he’s sorry. “We apologize for our actions and stupidity. It was an ignorant thing that we did and it was basically in retaliation about things that were said about my house and my wife.”
Scott’s wife Jennifer doctored-up and posted photos of Laura Edward, who died from Huntington’s Disease , showing her wrapped in the arms of the grim reaper. She also posted a photo of Laura’s 7-year-old daughter, Kathleen Edward, who is now dying from Huntington’s Disease , her face becoming the center of a skull and crossbones.

Major Update: First off, as I noted above, the page for Jennifer Petkov is now gone; which I think was a wise thing, as there were threats of violence on there. Second of all, There have been some pages for Kathleen Edward set up. They are here and here. I did mention to a family member, who contacted me via e-mail that I would be more than happy to put up a web page and or Blog for the little lady, if I can get an agreement to get donated hosting.
