I have two stories, first this story via the U.K. Telegraph:
Video:
The Story:
The French minister in charge of humanitarian relief called on the UN to “clarify” the American role amid claims the military build up was hampering aid efforts.
Alain Joyandet admitted he had been involved in a scuffle with a US commander in the airport’s control tower over the flight plan for a French evacuation flight.
“This is about helping Haiti, not about occupying Haiti,” Mr Joyandet said.
Geneva-based charity Medecins Sans Frontieres backed his calls saying hundreds of lives were being put at risk as planes carrying vital medical supplies were being turned away by American air traffic controllers.
But US commanders insisted their forces’ focus was on humanitarian work and last night agreed to prioritise aid arrivals to the airport over military flights, after the intervention of the UN.
The diplomatic row came amid heightened frustrations that hundreds of tons of aid was still not getting through. Charities reported violence was also worsening as desperate Haitians took matters into their own hands.
Let me get this straight —- The United States of America’s last two Presidents get together, put political differences aside and begin to raise all sorts of funds for people of Haiti and now we are the bad guys? Unreal. đ
The humanitarian catastrophe in Haiti is turning out to be a classic illustration of anti-Americanism in seven easy steps.
Calamitous events take place in a chaotic place (think Bosnia, think Somalia, think Iraq in 1991).
The U.N and the U.S intervene.
The civil government proves to be useless or malign, or both. The U.N isnât up to the job. The only effective force in sight is the U.S. According to todayâs Guardian, John OâShea, the head of Goal, a medical charity, has called on the U.S to take charge of the whole operation. So has a major U.S aid agency (âwhich declined to be named for political reasonsâ).
There are only two possible outcomes.
The U.S takes over. If this happens, it will be accused of âcreating a military occupation under the guise of humanitarian aidâ and âoccupyingâ the country outright. (Apologies, my memoryâs failing me. These criticisms have been aired already. The first quoteâs from President Chavez of Venezuela. The secondâs from Alain Joyandet, Franceâs âCo-operation Ministerâ.)
The U.S doesnât take over. If this happens, it will be criticised for ânot doing enoughâ – and isolationism.
So either way, the U.S loses.
Iâm not a fully signed-up member of the Stars-and-Stripes fan club. But there are times when I think: whoâd be an American?
Sorry, I am just going to say this, and I know that some identity politics type of jackass or some minority serial complainer will bitch about it; fine, screw ’em, I just don’t give a damn anymore. What needs to happen right about now, is this — The United States of America needs to get all those supplies off of those ships and planes and get back on their ships and planes and get the hell out of Haiti now. I mean, we have ponied up for these people and other such people long enough, let them idiots deal with their problems themselves, why the hell should WE have to be the ones to go in and play captain? Not like they are going to appreciate what we do any damn way. If the U.N. does not like our forces being there, LET THE U.N. TAKE OVER THE MISSION AND LEAVE!
Yeah, I know, some liberal asshat is going to call me a racist bigot for saying it. I got two words for you: Screw You. The United States of America has wasted more money on Countries that do not like us, for whatever reason and we are doing it again; and again we are being fingered as the bad guys. Enough is Enough! It is time for the United States to say home and take care of its own problems and stop trying to help everyone who has a Earthquake or other kind of natural disaster.
It just so happens that the United States of America is going through its own sort of disaster, A man-made one, its called our Economy — and instead of us watching what we spend and keeping what we have, which is not much, when you figure that China is buying our debt, we are sending it off to a bunch of idiots, who really do not like us anyhow! No, this is not sarcasm, I am quite serious. What do we get for all this sort of charity? The above nonsense that I just quoted.
Bottom Line: I believe it is high time that the United States of America reevaluated its role abroad and got out of the rescue and charity business for Countries that really do not like us anyhow.
Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the United States military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found.
At the end of the serial number on Trijicon’s ACOG gun sight, you can read “JN8:12”, a reference to the New Testament book of John, Chapter 8, Verse 12, which reads: “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” The ACOG is widely used by the U.S. military.
The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.
U.S. military rules specifically prohibit the proselytizing of any religion in Iraq or Afghanistan and were drawn up in order to prevent criticism that the U.S. was embarked on a religious “Crusade” in its war against al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents.
One of the citations on the gun sights, 2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Other references include citations from the books of Revelation, Matthew and John dealing with Jesus as “the light of the world.” John 8:12, referred to on the gun sights as JN8:12, reads, “Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
UPDATE: I had some stuff written here, that I wish I had never written. Snark is fun, but only if everyone else is laughing. I blew it and I apologize. Please, go read this….NOW.
I received this via e-mail. It appears that Gail Riplinger, so-called advocate of the KJV has a serious problem….
I have one thing to say to Mrs. Riplinger, if she wants to try and sue me.
Bring it on bitch!
Here’s the story:
GAIL RIPLINGER THREATENS TO SUE DR. AND MRS. WAITE
January 15, 2010 (David Cloud, Fundamental Baptist Information Service, P.O. Box 610368, Port Huron, MI 48061, 866-295-4143, fbns@wayoflife.org; for instructions about subscribing and unsubscribing or changing addresses, see the information paragraph at the end of the article) –
Gail Riplinger, the favorite female preacher of a shocking number of Independent Baptists, is now threatening to sue the elderly Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Waite. She has demanded that he (and me, as well) make immediate and public retractions and apologies.
I have published two articles about Riplinger in recent weeks, âGail Riplingerâs Lies to Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Waiteâ (November 24, 2009) and âGail Riplingerâs Lies to the Waites Part 2â (December 14, 2009). These were based on published reports by the Waites. The essence of these articles is as follows:
In 2007, the Waites received uncertified reports that Riplinger had been divorced twice and married thrice. On October 24 of that year, they called her to inquire about the matter, and Mrs. Riplinger expressly told them that she had been married only once, to her current husband Mike Riplinger. Wanting to be certain that she wasnât misunderstood and wanting to be absolutely sure of the matter, Mrs. Waite posed the question in a variety of ways, but Gail strongly denied that she had ever had any other marriages. As a result, Dr. Waite defended her at the Princeton King James Bible Conference in January 2008. When someone inquired at a question-answer session if Riplinger was divorced, Waite said that he had confirmed directly from her that this was not true. In June 2008, the Waites, having decided to pursue the matter further, obtained certified copies of Gail Riplingerâs three marriage licenses and two divorce papers.
“And you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it.
âThey were under the heel of the French, uh, you know Napoleon the 3rd and whatever, and they got together and swore a pact to the Devil.
âThey said, ‘We will serve you if you’ll get us free from the French.’
âTrue story.
âAnd so the Devil said, ‘Okay, it’s a deal.â
âAnd, uh, they kicked the French out, you know, with Haitians revolted and got themselves free.
âBut ever since they have been cursed by, by one thing after another, desperately poor.
âThat island of Hispaniola is one island. Itâs cut down the middle. On the one side is Haiti on the other side is the Dominican Republican.
âDominican Republic is, is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, etcetera.
âHaiti is in desperate poverty.
âSame island.
The problem is, what “uncle Chuckles” is saying, is, of course, wrong. 90% of Haiti is Christian. Further more, the story of the Satanic pact story, is, of course, Wrong. Even a Christian from there says so.
As a Born-Again Christian, and a Baptist. I encourage ALL Christians who read this blog, and DEMAND that Pat Roberson either apologize and resign from his position. Here’s the contact info:

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., January 13, 2010 — On todayâs The 700 Club, during a segment about the devastation, suffering and humanitarian effort that is needed in Haiti, Dr. Robertson also spoke about Haitiâs history. His comments were based on the widely-discussed 1791 slave rebellion led by Boukman Dutty at Bois Caiman, where the slaves allegedly made a famous pact with the devil in exchange for victory over the French. This history, combined with the horrible state of the country, has led countless scholars and religious figures over the centuries to believe the country is cursed. Dr. Robertson never stated that the earthquake was Godâs wrath. If you watch the entire video segment, Dr. Robertsonâs compassion for the people of Haiti is clear. He called for prayer for them. His humanitarian arm has been working to help thousands of people in Haiti over the last year, and they are currently launching a major relief and recovery effort to help the victims of this disaster. They have sent a shipment of millions of dollars worth of medications that is now in Haiti, and their disaster team leaders are expected to arrive tomorrow and begin operations to ease the suffering.

The White House, as expected, is quite shocked at Robertson’s idiotic behaviour:
Robertson’s words instantly triggered a firestorm across the country, including a rebuke from White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, who told reporters “at times of great crisis there are always people who say really stupid things.”
“Our heart goes out to the people of Haiti. ⌠That’s not the attitude that expresses the spirit of the president or the American people, so I thought it was a pretty stunning comment to make,” Jarrett said.
I think that his non-apology apology is just not good enough. He must resign, a penalty must be paid for this sort of foolishness.
Keith Olbermann is fighting mad about this, and rightly so:
I know what Rush Limbaugh said and I chose and still chose to ignore it. That is one of sad parts of being here on the right; is to have to be associated with the idiots like Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity. It is a part of the American experience, and the byproducts of a Free Republic. Freedom of speech does, at times, have it’s bad points.
I cannot, and will not apologize for Pat Robertson, nor can I explain his idiotic remarks. However, I can and I will say, publicly; that I wholeheartedly disagree and reject Pat Robertson’s and yes, even Rush Limbaugh’s idiotic and asinine comments — They do NOT reflect my feelings at all, about the situation in Haiti.
Sorry, No PB pub tonight. Couldn’t quite find anything I liked, suggestions are always welcome….
A woman named Nancy Spagnolo who lives in Bethany, Connecticut e-mailed me shortly after I interviewed Hume. “Religion is such a deeply personal issue and it is wrong to discuss what another person should believe. Mr. Hume should have contacted Tiger Woods privately instead of taking it public.”
That’s not a bad point. I’m sure Brit Hume had noble intentions when he addressed the golfer publicly, but it was a deeply personal assessment of Woods’ predicament. We are all sinners. How many of us want to be told how to achieve forgiveness in a public forum?
That being said, Brit Hume has a perfect right to espouse what he believes is a healing tonic. The forgiveness Christianity offers has helped millions of human beings throughout history. The world would be a better place if every person on earth understood the basic philosophy of Jesus. Mr. Hume was simply exercising his free speech rights and the fact he is paid well to do that speaks to his intellect and insight.
Anti-religious sentiment is currently chic in America. You can see it displayed in the media almost everyday. Brit Hume sent some advice to Tiger Woods. He did so meaning well. Mr. Woods is free to take it or leave it. There was no harm in this.
I would say the greatest failure of the Church today is its unwillingness to say and do the unpopular thing. Too many Christians busy themselves these days trying to come up with new ways of being admired and desired by the world rather than simply being obedient to the Lord they claim to love.
With a self-sustaining focus on acquiring evermore results and relationships (i.e., âchurch growthâ) by way of pragmatism and consensus, none of which is biblical, todayâs Christians are, by and large, being persuaded and trained week after week to embrace surveys, marketing principles, public relations programs and people skills as their new commandments with dialectically-trained consultants and facilitators posing as prophets and preachers â people pleasers who know how to work the crowd and steer the herd while selectively applying the scriptures as needed to maintain a biblical appearance of righteousness and religiosity.
Weâre essentially giving people what they want at church these days in hopes they will reciprocate with more participation and support. How is this âtacticâ any different from those used on Wall Street and in Washington D.C.?
âFor the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.â â 1st Corinthians 1:18
I am presenting this video, because quite frankly, I feel that in some, not all, instances Charles Johnson has gotten a bad rap on the right, especially by those who are to the right of me.
Here are the things that I did NOT agree with at all or did not like in the video:
The accusation that Robert Stacy McCain is a Racist Bigot; that is, I am afraid, utter nonsense. If I thought that Mr. McCain was even slightly like that, I would never, ever link to his Blog.
Conn Carrollâs idiotic eye rolling and childish facial gestures in the video, if you do not agree with someone, just say so and move the hell on, do not act like a child. Further, his badgering of Charles on his position on Abortion, which is a classical libertarian position, that it should be a state issue was idiotic, classless, and lame; shame on Conn for this.
Here are the things that I do agree with:
Global Warming: I agree that it is not a hoax, however, like Charles; I believe that it has been terribly politicized to the point that even the scientific data has possibly even been altered.
On the racist imagery at the Tea party protests. Yes, I saw the watch doctor signs and yes, I thought they were highly offensive to me too. Yes, I know what the left did to Bush; does that justify that sort of nonsense? No. It does not. Charles does make a point to say that he does not think everyone at the Protests were racists. I give him that.
I give Charles mad damned props for saying on that video, what I have said on this blog for a while now. The damned Birther controversy is steeped in outright racism. I was one of the first blogs on the right that reported that much of the misinformation that was being passed around about Obamaâs citizenship was taken straight from the Anti-Semitic and racist website Stormfront dot org.
Charles Johnson did admit that he was a socially a liberal. Glad he came out and admitted it.
I give props to Charles for admitting that he did not have the information on items thrown at him, this showed that he is not a blowhard, as he is portrayed on the right by some. I believe that stems from his banning of people on his site; which I personal believe he has a right to do.
The thing or things that I agree half, and half disagree with Johnson:
His Paranoia of the Religious Right is obvious. I believe his fears are a bit unfounded. I do not believe that the Religious Right is as big of a threat as Johnson might believe. However, I do agree with his assessment that Religion and politics, just do not mix. I have believed that for years. This is what brought us Ronald Reagan and brought us the disastrous Presidency of George W. Bush.
Another point that I, in a way, agree with Johnson on is the John Birch Society. First, his accusation of the John Birch Society being a racist origination in a monolithic sense is just very ridiculous. However, it is fair to point out, that there were those in the early days of the John Birch Society that were involved in those sorts of affairs. What Johnson does not know, or is not telling; is that the John Birch Society purged itself of those sorts of people back at some point in its history. Further more, Johnson points to William F. Buckleyâs basic sidelining of the JBS. The criticism of the John Birch Society, regardless of what you might read or may have heard, boils down to this — The John Birch Society was an non- interventionist group and was, and still is an anti-United Nations Council group. William F. Buckley worked at the United Nations at one point in his career, and he rejected the notion of total non- interventionism; thus the rub between the two parties. As for Johnsonâs accusation of conspiracy theories, Johnson either is misinformed or is being purposefully deceitful; but more than likely, he gets his information from leftist sources. The JBS has done more to dismiss these sorts of nonsensical theories, than anyone else has. I know this from reading their site. For what it is worth; I am not, nor have I ever been a member of the JBS. I just actually read their site, instead of making silly assumptions.
There you have it, my take on the video⌠hereâs the video and if you want to give me any crap for posting, feel free, but let me warn you. You start acting like a troll. I do not care who you are. I will kick your sorry butt to the curb, just as I do the rest of the trolls around here.
Harold Camping lets out a hearty chuckle when he considers the people who believe the world will end in 2012.
“That date has not one stitch of biblical authority,” Camping says from the Oakland office where he runs Family Radio, an evangelical station that reaches listeners around the world. “It’s like a fairy tale.”
The real date for the end of times, he says, is in 2011.
The Mayans and the recent Hollywood movie “2012” have put the apocalypse in the popular mind this year, but Camping has been at this business for a long time. And while Armageddon is pop science or big-screen entertainment to many, Camping has followers from the Bay Area to China.
Camping, 88, has scrutinized the Bible for almost 70 years and says he has developed a mathematical system to interpret prophecies hidden within the Good Book. One night a few years ago, Camping, a civil engineer by trade, crunched the numbers and was stunned at what he’d found: The world will end May 21, 2011.
Oh, Good grief, do I have to quote the Bible on here, all of the time?!??! đ :
And he shall sendhisangelswith a greatsound of a trumpet, and they shall gather togetherhiselectfrom the fourwinds, from one end of heavento the other .Nowlearn a parableof the fig tree;Whenhisbranchisyettender, and putteth forthleaves, ye knowthatsummer is nigh:Solikewiseye, when ye shall seeall these things, knowthat it isnear, even at the doors.Verily I say unto you,Thisgeneration shall notpass , tillall these things be fulfilled .Heavenandearth shall pass away , butmywordsshallnot pass away .Butofthatdayandhourknowethno man, no, not the angels of heaven, butmyFatheronly.Butas the days of Noe were, soshallalso the coming of the Son of manbe .Forasin the days that werebefore the flood they were eatinganddrinking , marryingand giving in marriage , until the daythatNoeenteredinto the ark,Andknewnotuntil the floodcame , andtook them allaway ; soshallalso the coming of the Son of manbe .Thenshalltwobein the field; the one shall be taken , and the otherleft .Two women shall be grindingat the mill; the one shall be taken , and the otherleft. —- Matthew 24:31-41 (KJV)
and….
Andthen shall he sendhisangels, and shall gather togetherhiselectfrom the fourwinds, from the uttermost part of the earthto the uttermost part of heaven.Nowlearn a parableof the fig tree;Whenherbranchisyettender, and putteth forthleaves, ye knowthatsummerisnear:Soye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass , knowthat it isnigh, even at the doors.Verily I say unto you, thatthisgenerationshallnotpass , tillall these things be done .Heavenandearth shall pass away : butmywordsshallnot pass away .Butofthatdayand that hourknoweth no man, no, not the angelswhich are inheaven, neither the Son,but the Father.Take ye heed , watchandpray : for ye knownotwhen the timeis .For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who lefthishouse, andgaveauthority to hisservants, and to every manhiswork, andcommanded the portertowatch .Watch yetherefore:for ye knownotwhen the master of the housecometh , at even,or at midnight,or at the cockcrowing,or in the morning:Lestcomingsuddenly he findyousleeping .Andwhat I say unto you I say unto all,Watch. —- Mark 13:27-37 (KJV)
There is no dispute that we are in the end times; but to say that we can even know the season of his rapture and the end times is false. In fact, Christ said this:
And he saiduntothem,It isnot for you to know the timesor the seasons, which the Father hath putin his ownpower. – Acts 1:7 (KJV)
So, as always, this guy and many like him; are full of bunk. đ

FRIDAY CHURCH NEWS NOTES

The Friday Church News Notes is designed for use in churches and is published by Way of Life Literatureâs Fundamental Baptist Information Service. Unless otherwise stated, the Notes are written by David Cloud. Of necessity we quote from a wide variety of sources, but this does not imply an endorsement. RICK WARREN CONFERENCE TO FEATURE MARK DRISCOLL, THE ULTRA-COOL PASTOR (Friday Church News Notes, January 1, 2010, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – Mark Driscoll is scheduled to speak at Rick Warrenâs Radicalis conference in February. The goal is âhow to develop emotionally healthy leadership.â The conference also features Pete Scazzero, founder of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, a ministry that promotes emotional health through Catholic contemplative mysticism. Driscoll is the ultra-cool senior pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington. He claims to be âTHEOLOGICALLY CONSERVATIVE AND CULTURALLY LIBERALâ (âPastor Provocateur,â Christianity Today, Sept. 21, 2007) and criticizes âhardcore fundamentalism that throws rocks at culture.â He defines himself as ârelevant,â âcontextual,â and âcoolâ (âConference examines the emerging church,â Baptist Pres s, Sept. 25, 2007). Mark Driscollâs church sets up a âchampagne barâ at its New Yearâs Eve parties. Members have to bring their IDs. They have âbeer-brewing lessonsâ for men, show R-rated movies, and operate the Paradox Theater to host secular rock concerts. Scott Thomas, director of Acts 29, a church planting network associated with Driscoll, says, âWe wonât water down our theology to reach more people and we wonât attack the culture in the name of Christianityâ (http://www.acts29network.org/about/welcome/). These are contradictory statements. You canât be faithful to the Bible (having rock-solid theology) if you âcontextualize the gospelâ and refuse to attack the sinful and satanic side of culture, which is a very large side of it in a world in which the devil is god! Godâs Word commands, âAnd have NO fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, BUT RATHER REPROVE THEMâ (Eph. 5:11). John the Baptist lost his head for rebuking a political leader for his immorality. Too bad he did not have one of Driscollâs books to help him learn how to be culturally liberal. The emerging John would have been so much cooler.
HOLLYWOOD CULTURE CREATES âINSANE SELF-IMAGE ISSUESâ (Friday Church News Notes, January 1, 2010, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – The following is by Brian Snider <bsnider@gmail.com> — âInvesting a lot of money, time and worry on this body is a hopeless dead end. Sadly, thatâs what Hollywood culture demands from those who worship at its altar. Actress Brittany Murphy, who mysteriously died of ânatural causesâ two weeks ago, apparently spent an inordinate amount of time worrying about a body that would only carry her to 32 years of age. âShe had insane self-image issues,â said one of her friends. âHer weight, her hair, her clothes, her skin, her teeth, everything. She was always so self-conscious.â Adds another: âA lot of her problems were due to poor self image. She wore extraordinary amounts of makeup, tons of fake eyelashes, got her teeth capped, dyed her hair blonde, lost weight–she wanted to be a beauty. She didnât want to be the fat girl from Clueless.â The things she spent so much time worrying about–body, eyes, teeth and hair are now lying in a grave, though her spirit has passed on into eternity. And with all the worrying she did about things that will pass away, we wonder how much time she spent worrying about the state of her soul. This young actress was sold a false bill of goods by the Satanic machinery of the movie industry, which convinces people that looks, prestige and glamour are great things to be sought. There is a permanence to death that is stunning in its seriousness and scope. Better to have the perspective of Scripture now than the perspective of Hollywood, which can only lead to eternal misery. âLove not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes , and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for everâ (1 John 2:15-17). âIt is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart. Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirthâ (Ecclesiastes 7:2-4).â Read More …
First of all, let me say, that the following is NOT my kind of music at all. But this fine gent contacted me and asked to put it on my blog.
Here is the press release in full:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
12/30/2009 Dallas, TX: Frausun, the old-world, experimental, gothic music project by Kurtz, has just released their first music video about spousal abuse in Muslim marriages called âThunder in Your Veins.â The single is off of their new album â1000,â which debuted in late October.
Inspired by such musical influences as Dead Can Dance, Death in June, Peter Murphy, and David Bowie, Frausun is a one-man project representing the masculine expression of feminine energy, hence the name Frau (Woman) Sun (Male Strength). Kurtz, the sole performer of the group, is influenced by a variety of literary sources, from Kate Chopin and Keats, to Nietzsche and William S. Burroughs. The songs cover a variety of subjects from Tibetan Sky Burials and Goddess worship, to female empowerment and Alchemical love.
Kurtz was motivated to begin his project after reading a story about a woman killed in Afghanistan for being too âwesternized.â Her crime was wearing lipstick.
âThunder in Your Veinsâ tells the story of a woman who endures physical and mental torture at the hands of her husband, justified by his faith. Seeing no way out but death, she takes his life and walks free to help other women in their pain.
âI want my music to be a call for revolution. If just 1% of the women who saw the video and their reaction was to unite, putting knives to the throats of their abusers, then I know my work has succeeded.”
What is needed now are not partisan fights about whether the Obama Administration was doing enough to guard against terrorist attacks in the wake of shootings last month at Fort Hood, Texas. Instead, we should question whether our overreaction to the crimes against humanity on 9/11–including the creation of an endless “war” against terrorism–has done more to undermine our security than enhance it. American safety will be better ensured through common-sense counterterrorism and homeland defense measures, including extensive intelligence cooperation expert police work and border control.
Oh yes,Katrina, let’s just cut and run and stop trying to fight the war on terror — so, that Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan can regroup and come back stronger. Not only in the Afghanistan region, but also in Yemen and other regions as well. What a pathetic bitch. đ What more living proof do we need, that the Socialist Far-Left Liberal Democrats are nothing more than terrorist sympathizers? Which is why I will never vote for them again, ever. Give me a politico that gives a flying flip about National Security, please. Not some terrorist coddling asshat.
Oh, and… Police Work. Police work?!?!?!? That is another little bitch and gripe that I have with the Socialist Liberal Democrats. They see some Negro Muslim terrorist, who tried to blow up a damned plane, most likely at sixty thousand feet over my damned house, as nothing more than some common criminal thug. Sorry Liberals, this stupid idiot negro terrorist, was an non-uniform combatant. He should be at Gitmo. Actually, he should be strung from a damned tree! đĄ But, I digress.
There is much hubbub about why the system to failed. There is also news that the Government knew about this dude, and did nothing at all. All of the media outlets; including Fox News are asking, “why?” Hello! It does not take a damned rocket scientist to figure that little problem out. It is the elephant in the room, that nobody and I mean NOBODY wants to talk about. Has anyone else in the world bothered to notice the skin color of this terrorist suspect? Uh, Duh. He is a black person. Our President is also a black person. One plus one usually equals two! It seems that nobody is either willing or even possibly able to make that connection. Our Government officials new about this guy and knew that plans were being made; but they did not do anything about it. Why? I will tell you why! Because they knew, that if they acted upon this little piece of evidence, that it would possibly upset the President; because the mean ol’ United States Government was picking on some poor young black man — of whom the the white man oppressed and the Government did nothing about it for so many years. I mean, if you were employed by the NSA or CIA and you were aware of this situation, would you want to risk angering a black President, who was all down with “The Struggle”(tm)? I think you all know what I mean.
There is your answer, the reason this piece of intelligence slipped by, was the same reason the Ft. Hood shooter went by, unstopped. political correctness gone horribly bad.
Update: It seems that my resident gay stalker from Grand Rapids does not like what I wrote. Sorry fag boy, but some of us, do not have our heads stuck up the socialist Democratic Party’s “P.S. Police” ass; Unlike you. Because of this, some of us can see things for what they really are. Unlike some men with homosexual tendencies.
I present two videos; the first by reason magazine, which is a very funny take on the past 10 years. Which comes via HotAir.com, who has a poll up with this decade versus a few other notable decades:
The second video comes via Jack Hunter, who video blogs over at the American Conservative. Here Jack lays out a very compelling case for the fact that starting with George H.W. Bush, continuing with Bill Clinton and finally with George W. Bush; the entire big government, got even bigger:
As Jack says, and yet, conservatives are now griping about Barack Obama’s big government agenda. However, it is to be said, that Jack Hunter does point out the hypocrisy of the Democrats, when it comes to the wars. They were, in fact, loudly condemning of Bush’s Wars, but now, they’re all but silent. (Except for a few… and I mean very few…)
One point that I will offer a rebuttal to, is Jack’s point that Bush touted a more peaceful Foreign Policy, when he ran back in 2000. Jack points out that this suddenly changed after 9/11. What he fails to realize is this; on September 11, 2001, the game changed. Terrorists slammed two planes into the World Trade Centers, one plane into the Pentagon, and one plane that was headed to the White House; ended up in a field in Pennsylvania. As someone who had a terrorist almost blow up a plane near my house. I can fully understand why this game changed. However, because I am not a overly partisan blogger, I will say this; I do fully realize that Iraq, in hindsight was, in fact, a mistake. I have yet for anyone at all, to convince me otherwise, that Iraq was a direct threat to our Republic. I personally believe it was because of this massive screw up of the Bush Administration, that Afghanistan is now possibly a lost cause, and why Al-Qaeda is now attacking us once again. If I were Jack and those who agree with him; I would be watching the Yemen situation very closely. Because I tend to believe that Yemen is going to become Obama’s war, especially if he does not root out that Al-Qaeda group there.
As a fiscal Conservative; I must say that I wholeheartedly agree with Jack’s assessment of the G.O.P. and Republican establishment’s hypocrisy on spending; the same very people that are bitching to high heaven about Obama’s spending, were all but silent during the eight years of George W. Bush and his reckless drunken sailor like spending, which was primarily on a war in a country that really, when you get down to it, had zero to do with 9/11. But, yet, you have Bloggers, who are pro-war, bitching about Obama’s socialist agenda and take over of health care, plus his screwing of the economy into the ground. My question is, where were these people back in Bush’s day? Oh, that’s right, partisanship —- Which is such a horrible disease.
In fact, just here the other day; I was ripped by a “so-called” Conservative blogger, because I went to his blog and left a rather nasty message about Obama, because I was quite pissed off about his handling of the attempted terrorist act here at the airport, which is less than 10 miles from my house. (I also e-mailed him and apologized for it too..) This man goes out of his way to rat me out, and offers to give my damned IP address to anyone that wants it. But yet, on that same blog, he does the rather unfunny Osama/Obama joke on his blog. He removed it, presumably after one his readers bitched at him about it, but just the same, this idiot is going to bitch at me for being a ‘so-called’ racist and he does the same thing? That is hypocrisy and I think he knows that, because it was changed, I wish I had screen capped it and posted it here. But, I didn’t. Also, one of his commenters proceeded to give out my real name and drudge up crap that happened years ago. She also went out of her way to say that I, according to her, criticized the right more than the left. Which is, of course, stupid. I have pointed out stupid stuff on the far right and I will continue to do so; as much as I criticize the left. My point that I am trying to make is this here. Just as much as I am not drinking the idiotic socialist Kool-Aid of the Democrats; I am also not drinking the idiotic Kool-Aid of the far right either, I consider myself to me a critical, or dare I say it? A free-thinker.
I will admit, that I am a supporter of the United States Military; but I will the first to admit, that I beginning to be very skeptical of the war in Afghanistan; and I will go out of my way to say that this is NOT the fault of the United States military. It never was, it is the fault of the jackasses in Washington D.C. who could not define a damned military mission, if their lives depended on it. This is nothing new, it was the same way during the Bush Administration, much worse in fact. The problem is, our lives do depend on it. Al-Qaeda is still a damned threat and what does Obama do? Gives a half-assed speech as to the fact, that the government is on it. Yeah, uh-huh, sure. You mean, like the Government has been on the hunt of Osama Bin Laden for the last damned eight years? I call B.S. people, big time.
So, to those who come here and think this is a far right, rabid Conservative Blog. Be forewarned; my criticism and skepticism of Government and politics; and those who engage in that profession, is NOT on a partisan basis. I am quite bi-partisan on my criticisms. This blog has always been that way, and always will be.
Karl Rove, former senior adviser to President George W. Bush, has been granted a divorce in Texas after 24 years of marriage, family spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
âKarl Rove and his wife, Darby, were granted a divorce last week,” said Perino. “The couple came to the decision mutually and amicably, and they maintain a close relationship and a strong friendship. There will be no further comment, and the family requests that its privacy be respected.â
The Roves were married in January 1986.
A family friend told POLITICO: âAfter 24 years of marriage, many of which were spent under incredible stress and strain during the White House years, the Roves came to a mutual decision that they would end the marriage. They did spend Christmas together with their son, and they plan to spend time together in the future. They maintain a strong friendship, and they both feel that that friendship is a source of comfort and inspiration for their friends and family.â
This proves what I have believed all along. That social Conservatism is nothing more, than a well-planned and executed joke. I will not do the pile-on about Rove’s stances on Gay Marriage. However, I will present this video, done by Jack Hunter, who now Video Blogs over at the American Conservative. In this video, Jack makes some very valid points about the establishment Republicans in Washington D.C. at the 3:13 mark is where Jack really makes the point that I am making here.
I will be the first to admit; I do not always agree with Jack on foreign policy and war. However, I am in total agreement with him on the subject of social Conservatism. I being a child of the 1980’s, I remember very clearly all the talk that Reagan was going to get prayer back into schools, was going to see to it that Abortion was outlawed. Now did any of that stuff ever happen? Um, No. That is because the Republicans of that era, were exploiting the Conservative Christian community for their vote. Sort of like what Barack Obama’s campaign did to the far left during the election of 2008.
It seems lately that “neocon” has become Andrew Sullivan’s term for any Jew who disagrees with… Andrew Sullivan. And no, I’m not accusing Andrew Sullivan of being anti-Semitic, or Hannah Rosenthal, for that matter, of being anti-Semitic. (Here’s what I think about the state of Andrew’s Semitism, if you care.) And I don’t think anyone has accused Rosenthal of being anti-Semitic. Dopey, yes, but anti-Semitic? I wish that Andrew wouldn’t try to preclude debate over her qualifications for what could be an important job by bringing up a charge no credible person has made.
Which proves to anyone half a ounce of a brain, that you cannot play ball for both teams and be a legitimate voice in the Blogosphere. No, I am not talking about Sullivan’s sexual preference. Although, he is batting for the wrong team in that aspect; but I digress. I am referring to his political leanings; which are, by most accounts, quite liberal. The problem is, when you side with the socialist Democrats, you end up on the wrong side of the argument when it comes to Israel. That, or you start sounding like Pat Buchanan or Ron Paul. Which is why I parted ways with that Paleo-Conservative crowd. I am not one to kiss anyone’s rear because of their gender, race, creed or Religion. But I just cannot sit and hate a racial group in a monolithic sense, like the White Nationalists. That is a sickness, and I am afraid that I just cannot do that. I have, admittedly been known to slip and say some rather politically incorrect things about the various minority races. (Mainly Blacks, because of some of batshit crazy stuff in those circles, now that they got their “Jim Jones” Leader of the plantation…) But to say that I have a monolithic hatred of any race, is just inaccurate.
This little article has been festering in my brain all day today. I finally believe that I might have enough here to really convey a thought or two. The recent information on the foiled terror attack here in Detroit is quite startling. First off, it is being reported that the terroristâs father had notified the U.S. Government that his son was becoming ever increasingly radical in his Muslim beliefs. Second, the United States Government knew about this person for over two years and was either unable or unwilling to do anything about it.
This is a glaringly obvious deduction that anyone, with any kind of common sense and reasoning should realize, and that is that the United States Government cannot and will not totally protect the American people from a terrorist attack. The only people that can prevent such an event from happening, is the American people themselves. This is one instance when the âNanny Stateâ just does not work. A perfect example of this is the person that prevented this horrific act of cowardice from taking place. His name is Jasper Schuringa and he is not even an American. Jasper knew that it was either the terrorist or him; and he acted accordingly. Jasper deserves the highest of honors from our Government that is because he did, what our President has not seem interested in doing, and that is to tell the terrorists that the battle is on and that are willing and able to fight them in any capacity that is required to defeat them. Jasper did not wait for the big âNanny Stateâ government to do their job; he simply took care of business and for that, he should be commended. To any progressives reading this — I am sorry, but dithering around on the issue of Afghanistan is not what I consider leadership. By dithering, I mean delaying the increase needed in troops and then not sending the number of troops asked for, by the commanders on the ground. That is not leadership — that is a sad joke, which sums up this President in a phrase.
Another thought is this; for all of the errors in the thinking of the Libertarians and their idiotic Party, they do have one thing right, and that is that these terror attacks are result of war. As along as the United States of America has forces in Afghanistan and Iraq, there will be these sorts of attacks on our soil. The problem is that the libertarians believe that we should just pull out of the Afghanistan war and admit defeat. This would be grave error on the part of our Government, it would prove to Al-Qaeda that the United States is weak and can be easily defeated. If anything; at this point, the United States should step up its attacks on the hiding places of the Al-Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan and other places abroad. Ronald Reagan believed in peace through strength, and the United States should continue that policy now, by not allowing these wretched terrorists win the battle. We should do this by making these Islamic thugs lives a living hell and chase them to the ends of the earth, as President George W. Bush pledged to do in the days after 9/11.
The United States of America has a rich history of defending the homeland, and we should continue that traditions until these turban-wearing thugs are thoroughly defeated and victory is realized.
A U.S.-born radical cleric is alive and well following reports he may have been killed in a Yemeni airstrike against suspected al-Qaida hideouts, friends and relatives said Friday.
The government said it targeted a meeting of high-level al-Qaida operatives in Thursday's airstrike in the remote Shabwa region. It claimed at least 30 militants were killed, possibly including Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical cleric who has been linked to the shooter in last month's attack at the Fort Hood military base in the U.S.
On Friday, a friend of the cleric, Abu Bakr al-Awlaki, told The Associated Press he was not among those killed. He refused to say if the cleric was attending the meeting.
Considering what the Roman Catholic did my true Christian Forefathers during the crusades and before, this little act was not nearly sufficient ….And let’s not even get into how the Roman Catholic Church sold many Jews up the river during the time of Hitler.
Quite frankly, I am sorry it was not a gun.
Update: Seems some have an issue with my statement. I challenge you, to order this HereHere, Here, and Here and LEARN! The Roman Catholic Church is the “great whore” described in Revelation Chapters 17 & 18. I’ve known that for years. Does that offend people, absolutely. Do I care? No. Why? This:
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing ? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered . Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men , him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. — Matthew 10:27-37
SANAA (Reuters) – A Yemeni air raid may have killed the top two leaders of al Qaeda’s regional branch on Thursday, and an American Muslim preacher linked to the man who shot dead 13 people at a U.S. army base may also have died, a Yemeni security official said.
Nasser al-Wahayshi, the Yemeni leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), and his Saudi deputy, Saeed al-Shehri, were believed to be among 30 militants killed in the dawn operation in the eastern province of Shabwa, said the official, who asked not to be identified.
U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki may also have died in the air strike which targeted a meeting of militants planning attacks on Yemeni and foreign oil and economic targets, he said.
If all the deaths are confirmed, the air strike would appear to have struck a severe blow against AQAP, seen as the most dangerous regional offshoot of Osama bin Laden’s network.
“Anwar al-Awlaki is suspected to be dead,” the official said of the cleric who was on the run in Yemen, where he was on the government’s most-wanted list of terrorist suspects.
According to U.S. officials, the U.S. army psychiatrist who ran amok at the Fort Hood army base in Texas on November 5 had contacts with Awlaki.
The Yemeni official said one leading figure in AQAP, Mohammed Saleh Omair, was confirmed dead in Thursday’s raid.
The United States cooperates closely with Yemen in combating al Qaeda militancy. Pentagon officials were not immediately available to comment on any U.S. involvement in the raid.
The Yemeni official mentioned only one air strike, which a government website said had taken place at 5 a.m., but Al Arabiya television reported four raids.
Resurgent al Qaeda attacks have stirred fears that worsening instability in Yemen, an impoverished country struggling with multiple security threats, might enable militants to launch renewed attacks in neighboring oil superpower Saudi Arabia.
Al Qaeda’s wing in Yemen, where Osama bin Laden’s father was born, announced in January it had changed its name to al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula — in an apparent attempt to revive the group in Saudi Arabia, where a tough counter-terrorism drive had halted the group’s three-year armed campaign in 2006.
Wahayshi, the new group’s Yemeni leader, threatened attacks against Westerners in the oil-exporting region. AQIP has also called for the overthrow of the U.S.-allied Saudi royal family.
This should send a message to these turban wearing bastards; you mock our Country, after one of yours does something stupid like open fire in a military base, your stupid ass is going to get hit. Kudos to the Military and President Obama for authorizing this strike. If you’ll pardon my frank speech; one ‘towel head’ terrorist down, many more to go. They should have done this to this bastard after 9/11, but the military did not. Finally, he gets justice, about damn time. Again, Hats off to our awesome Military for a job well done!
I would be willing to bet, that there are some families at Fort Hood, Families of the Victims of 9/11 and many other victims of terrorism; who are smiling broadly today. Merry Christmas to them, hope this brings a little happiness. đ
Well, really, I just present an argument from a Fundamentalist Baptist stance.
First off, Zo’s video:
Some very funny stuff in that video…

Okay, this is something that a Baptist Pastor sent to me. Please be advised, I might not agree with ALL of this, but they do have a good point…

Jer 10:2 KJV – Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Jer 10:3 KJV – For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
Jer 10:4 KJV – They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Please watch the videos and read this email I made it as short as I could and still maintain the information needed.

Christmas is a pagan evil demonic holiday have nothing to do with it. It is not the Birthday of Jesus Christ. And pastors and church elders, men of faith who are head of their families, God will hold you responsible to teach what is holy. Remain separate from the ways of the world. Do not conform to the doctrine of the Nicolaitanâs God has told us he hates those that do.
Rev 2:6 KJV – But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Rev 2:14 KJV – But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
Rev 2:15 KJV – So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Nicolaitans:
nik-o-la’-i-tanz Nikolaitai):
1. The Sect:
A Christian, by name, sect or party of evil influence in early Christianity, especially in the 7 churches of Asia. Their practices were strongly condemned by John, who praised the church in Ephesus for “hating their works” (Rev 2:6), and blamed the church in Pergamum for accepting in some measure their teaching (Rev 2:15).
2. References:
Reference to Nicolaitans is frequent in post-apostolic literature (writings that were written by the churches shortly after the apostils died). According to Irenaeus (Adv. Haer., i.26,3; iii.10,7), followed by Hippolytus (Philos., vii.36), the Nicolaitans are referenced to their Gnostic tendencies regarding the eating of meats offered to idols and the participation in heathen public festivals and holidays.
3. Nicolaitan Controversy:
The problem underlying the Nicolaitan controversy concerned the whole relation of Christianity to paganism and their usages of Festival and holiday pagan traditions. The Nicolaitans disobeyed the command issued to the Gentile churches, by the apostolic council held at Jerusalem in 49-50 AD, that they should refrain from the eating of “things sacrificed to idols” (Acts 15:29).
Act 15:27 KJV – We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell [you] the same things by mouth.
Act 15:28 KJV – For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
Act 15:29 KJV – That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Such a restriction, though seemingly hard, in that it prevented the Christian communities from joining in public festivals, and so brought upon them suspicion and dislike, was yet necessary to prevent a return to a pagan laxity of morals. To this danger the Nicolaitans were themselves a glaring witness, and therefore John was justified in condemning them. In writing to the Corinthians, Paul gives warning against the same evil practices, basing his arguments on consideration for the weaker brethren (compare 1 Cor 8).
1Cr 8:10 KJV – For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
1Cr 8:11 KJV – And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
1Cr 8:12 KJV – But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
4. Nicolaitan the Origin of the Name:
The Pagan Nicolaitan cult comes from the name of the false god they worshiped Nicolas (conqueror of the people) it is the Greek name for the Hebrew name Balsam (“destroyer of the people,” bela’ ‘am); as we find both the Hebrew and Greek names refer to the same false god. Other notable names for this false god are Abaddon, Apollyon; Satan, and Devil. Nicolas is a specific symbolical name given to this false god to represent his role as the god of holidays or feasting and festivals. A Hebrew interpretation of the root meaning of the name is nikola, meaning “let us eat”. Nicolas introduced a false freedom into the Christian Church, i.e. licentiousness (Lacking or ignoring moral discipline. Having no regard for the laws)
Such seducers are described as followers of Balsam or Balaam (“the son of Bosor”, “son of carnality”: bosor means “flesh”). They persuade many Christians to partake in pagan holidays. Many even indulge in “eating idol meats,”; some even join in the “fornication” of the holidays, they do and teach these things as permitted by Christ’s “law of grace”. The Nicolaitans combined evil “deeds” which Jesus “hates” with evil “doctrine.”, also in 2 Peter 2:12-13; 2 Peter 2:15-17
2Pe 2:1 KJV – But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:12 KJV – But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
2Pe 2:13 KJV – And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots [they are] and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
2Pe 2:14 KJV – Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
2Pe 2:15 KJV – Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
2Pe 2:16 KJV – But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
2Pe 2:17 KJV – These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
The Nicolaitans are in part responsible (together with the Catholic Church) for “Christianity’s” acceptance of Christmas, Easter, Halloween and other unbiblical practices. More importantly, Nicolaitanism, representative of a much broader philosophy, can be blamed for the organized and systematic removal of God’s laws as a central pillar of the Christian way of life. Replaced by a âlaw of graceâ which teaches to not bother following or even learning Godâs law as they no longer apply.
5. St Nicolas: the Origin of the Christmas Holiday
The corrupt Catholic Church (the Mystery Babylon, the Great Whore â not covered in this email but Biblically true) in a attempt at conquering the worldâs religions  and bring about a world religion, as it does with all false gods and holidays of the pagans around the world, merged the pagan rituals with their church. They selected a person from their church  with the name Nicolas and made him a saint. Creating St. Nicolas, allowing pagans to have their holiday for the false god Nicolas, only now people would start calling him St. Nicolas. Further they moved the day from the Winter Solstice (the 21st or 22nd) to the 24th, to appease those pagans who refused to merge the holidays, and to prevent offending those Christians who were aware of the pagan Winter Solstice Holiday by simple saying it was a different holiday on a different day. Then to make it appear Christian in origin they announced it was the birthday of Jesus (who was clearly not born in December according to the Bible, but his birthday is obscure enough that only those who studied the bible would know this.)
December 21/22 — Winter Solstice â Yule (The Catholic Church moved the day to the 24th and called it Christmas)
The sun is at its nadir, the year’s longest night. Pagans internalize and synthesize the outward-directed activities of the previous summer months. Some hold a Festival of Lights to commemorate the âmother goddessâ (called the queen of heaven in the Bible â This is why the Catholic Church worships Mary as the mother goddess) as giving birth to the âsun godâ. Others celebrate the victory of the âLord of Lightâ (in the Bible we know him as Lucifer the light bearer) over the darkness as the turning point from which the days will lengthen. The name “Yule” derives from the Norse word for “wheel” (as in the âWheel of Timeâ which turns and spins the pattern of the universe â this is where the terms âthe universe will sort it outâ and âI will leave it up to the universeâ comes from ), and many Pagan customs (like those of the Christmas holiday) derive from Norse and Celtic Pagan practices most notable of course is Nicolas or Santa Clause (see video above)
the Yule log – A Yule log, is a large log which is burned in the hearth as a part of traditional Pagan Yule (or Christmas) celebrations. The Yule log originates from a custom amongst the Germanic peoples in tribute to the god Thor associated with Yule. Thor was associated with oak trees, such as Thor’s Oak.
the Christmas tree (or Yule tree) â as a evergreen tree does not die (loose its leaves in winter) placing one in your home during this time of year offers protection from death and misfortune to the household Christmas trees used to be hung upside from the ceiling beams (this belief can still be seen sometimes year round by the placing of a pine tree on the top of skyscrapers in many US cities)
Christmas tree ornaments â pagans would also place magic talismans on the tree to provide additional magical protection to the household
the custom of Wassailing – Here We Come A-Wassailing (or Here We Come A-Caroling) is a Christmas carol and New Years song. It refers to the ‘wassail’, an alcoholic drink (typically mulled cider) that would be used in ritualistic worship assembly ceremonies of the pagans. The wassail party passes around a bundle of ash sticks, twigs or branchesâthe ashen faggotâbound with green ash withies, which is then placed onto the fire. As each binding bursts, the watchers toast it with a drink. The unmarried women each choosing a withy, and the first one whose tie snapped would be married the next year. When the bindings have all burst and the bundle has fallen loose, each person who plans to host the festivities next year takes one of the half-burned ash sticks and saves it until the following Christmas, when it will go in the centre of their own ashen faggot. Pagans believe that not burning the ashen faggot in your house brought bad luck, or that having an ashen faggot in the house kept the Devil away. Wiccans believe the ash tree has magical associations: perhaps the most important is the Yggdrasil of Norse mythology, also known as the World Ash Tree. Or World Tree
the Yule Ham – A Christmas Ham or Yule Ham (Ham is meat sacrificed to a idol and should never be eaten by Christians during the holiday season) is a traditional dish associated with modern Christmas, Yule. The tradition is from the Norse as a tribute to the god Freyr who is associated with boars, harvest and fertility.
and many others I only provided a few for a understanding.
As Christians the Bible tells us to remain separate from the pagan traditions and as such we should never place a Christmas tree in or around our House, we should never place up Christmas lights in any form, we should never teach our children of St. Nicolas or Santa Clause if we do so we are cursing them. No Christmas Caroling, No Yule log, No elves (which are demons), No means No, Obey Godâs Laws.
Rom 12:2 KJV – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
—
Again, I do agree with some of that. I personally do not get into the Holiday, as I celebrate Christ in my heart daily.
As we approach the celebration of Christ’s birth, I am reminded of the wordsof John Quincy Adams. On July 4, 1837, he spoke these words:
“Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day? … Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the Gospel dispensation?  Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s mission upon earth. That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity, and gave to the world the first irrevocable pledge of the fulfillment of the prophecies announced directly from Heaven at the birth of the Savior and predicted by the greatest of the Hebrew prophets six hundred years before?”
Adams was exactly right: America’s birth is directly linked to the birth of our Savior. In fact, the United States of America is the only nation established by Christian people, upon Biblical principles, and dedicated to the purpose of religious liberty. This truth is easily observed within America’s earliest history.
The last time I posted anything related to the John Birch Society on this Blog; my hits just about went off the charts. My servers had smoke rolling out of them and I could have sworn that I heard that said server yelping a bit in agony. Okay, the second part was not true. Nevertheless, there were a good deal of people, that were very highly interested in that video; and this was before this blog really even took off.
This is Robert Welch, he was the founder of the John Birch Society. Contrary to what people like, Rachel Maddow might think; the JBS is not what the liberals and some Conservatives like to think that it is. Here is Mr. Welch giving a speech in 1974 telling of the goals of the Society. Now, honestly, where have you heard this stuff before? If you said Ron Paul in 2008, you get a gold star, if you say the majority of Conservatives TODAY; you get another big gold star. As old as this video is; its contents are timely, considering the mess that we are in today.
The second group of videos are a reposting of some videos that I have posted here before and a few new ones. The first is the actual story John Birch, the second is the founder of the JBS giving a outline of what the JBS is truly all about. The rest are various related to the subject at hand. Some are dated, some, are quite timely.
I am a simple school bus driver. Here is a conversation I heard. Last year we had an Iranian girl who loudly proclaimed, when the school was in its Patriotic Songs Celebration (“This Land Is Your Land,” etc.): “I am not an American, I am a Muslim.”
This was done on the bus so all could hear.
This is what they feel, deep down. They don’t think like us, they lie without compunction, they want us dead or out of the way, because they are not fools like the Propositional Nationalists.
They know what a country really is; it is its land and resources. As long as we are here, we’re in their way.
I am stunned at the stupidity of our leaders. Either they go to war in a place like Kosovo and learn nothing about it and why it became the way it did, or they are biding their time until full scale civil war breaks out in the USA, so martial law can be enforced and their power grows exponentially.
Personally, I think the latter will be the case.
When will Americans rise up?
Update: Oops! My bad, it was a D.C. cop, not Chicago Cop. My Apologies to the Chicago Police Dept.
Update #2: Admittedly, these people were wrong for tossing snowballs at a car, but pulling a gun? That’s a bit extreme. Also, calling a Police Officer a “Pig” is very disrespectful. But, again, pulling a gun like this was wrong.
