Comment: Are you a Christian…? I have only read one article of yours, the one on Riplinger. What you wrote is undoubtedly true, but if you are a Christian, which verses of Scripture do you specifically think justifies your saying, “Bring it on BITCH” once, let alone twice. Such speech is not Biblical and not of Christ, it is carnal and brings shame on Christ and also misrepresents the people you quote and makes it even appear as if they endorse your vulgar, violent attitude or that you are even part of their organization. You undermine the good you seem to have desired to do. Please remove those carnal comments, or be honest and make it perfectly clear that you are not part of the way of life organization and they do not endorse your vulgarity or attitude. I have not read any of your other blogs to see if this is a pattern, but just from what you have written above here on this contact page, your use of “jack crap” and that you were “screwed” out of a job, does seem to display a carnal attitude. Are you a Christian? Do you represent Christ, which is what Christians are supposed to do… be His ambassadors, representing Him, with His words. If you are a Christian, please pray about this. God bless you as you seek Him.

I tried sending this guy a message back and it came back as an invalid e-mail address. For the record, he is talking about this posting here, which was written four years ago. At that time, I was a bit more angrier about things that happened to me, when I was involved with some of the local Fundamentalist Baptist crowd around here.
Furthermore, let me just say this; if you are going to have the guts to write me and complain about how I write stuff; at least have the stinking gonads to include your real e-mail address. otherwise, keep your judgemental, two-bit pharisee comments to yourself.
For the record, I was not then, and still am not now; involved with any sort of a Church now at all. The above little e-mail and judgemental, pharisaical mentality of the person who wrote me, is a classical example as to why. The IFB’s doctrine, for the most part is right on point. However, the stupidity, like above, is basically why I quit hanging around in the them circles. Not to mention the fact, that I had a pastor, This one here to be specific, do me really dirty. I won’t get into what happened, but it was enough to send me packing. Do not let those smiling faces fool you; those two guys on the front of that page are very, very evil, rotten, no-good people.
20 years later and it is the same song and dance —- except for one thing, it is coming from right and not the left, as it is being reported in some quarters.
For those of you who do not like the idea of posting what Pamela has to say; I have two things to say —- first, as Herman Cain would say, “I does not care.” Also, I would say to those who would have a problem with me posting this video, I would politely ask you to go see Helen Waite and ask for directions.
I am prayerfully considering the matter and I ask for your prayers going forward in it.
I went to the Church for a few services and I did decide to pass on the Church. What it boils down to is some personal preferences of mine; also, in addition, there were some issues with the Pastor as well. Therefore, I decided to pass on that Church. I thank the man, who was kind enough to invite me.
I do have another one in mind, however I will be very honest with you, and I am not in a great hurry to become involved with another Church again. I am still a bit gun-shy about attending a Church again; mainly because of my being burned here about 5 years ago, by a Pastor who preached one thing and did another in his personal dealings. When this occurred, I essentially said that I would most likely never get involved with another Church group. However, this man’s kindness and boldness to share the gospel with a total stranger captured my interest.
There is one thing that will not change around here and that is my walk with the Lord. I will not be posting secular music here any longer. Just because it does not look good for a person, who is supposed to be a Christian, of which the term means someone who is a follower of Christ — to be posting music on a blog, of which he is the owner. In other words, I will leave the music posting to the liberals who support that music and lifestyle it represents.
Another thing I need to point here is that I am fully aware of the fact that I have let myself go here in the last six years. When I was burned by that Pastor and a few other people involved in that whole situation back in 2006, I came home that day, put my Christianity on the back burner, and delved into the world of politics. I guess you could say that I needed a distraction from the recent events, which worked for me, because I did not want to dwell on what had happened too much, because I did not want to become bitter over it. Therefore, I just changed gears and started writing about politics. However, to gain more readers around here, I did some things, that now as I reflect on it more, might have not been expedient for someone who is a Christian. This was my own personal oversight and I take full responsibility for that.
In closing, going forward here at this blog, which I do plan on writing about in detail here in another posting, I do plan to watch myself a bit more as a Christian. I also will find a Church, when I am ready for that. For now though, I just do not feel an overly compelling reason to be a part of one. It is a myth that Church attendance is a requirement for anything at all, least of all, one’s personal salvation. (Update: The posting that I spoke of, is now here.)
I will be the very first to confess that there are issues in politics that I very high disagree with Patrick J. Buchanan on. However, Mr. Buchanan does have a good idea of what Conservatism should be about; having said that, let me personally recommend this article here by Patrick Buchanan. Again, I have disagreed with the man, at times; but this is not one of them.

With the approval of the Obama administration, an electric car company that received a $529 million federal government loan guarantee is assembling its first line of cars in Finland, saying it could not find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work.
Vice President Joseph Biden heralded the Energy Department’s $529 million loan to the start-up electric car company called Fisker as a bright new path to thousands of American manufacturing jobs. But two years after the loan was announced, the job of assembling the flashy electric Fisker Karma sports car has been outsourced to Finland.
“There was no contract manufacturer in the U.S. that could actually produce our vehicle,” the car company’s founder and namesake told ABC News. “They don’t exist here.”
Henrik Fisker said the U.S. money so far has been spent on engineering and design work that stayed in the U.S., not on the 500 manufacturing jobs that went to a rural Finnish firm, Valmet Automotive.
“We’re not in the business of failing; we’re in the business of winning. So we make the right decision for the business,” Fisker said. “That’s why we went to Finland.”
Here is the real-world translation to that last line in that story; we did not want to have to deal with the labor unions in this United States, so we moved our manufacturing overseas.
Take note my Democratic Party friends who happen to read this blog, all two of you. This is what happens to the Democrats and their union counterparts, when they elect internationalist Democrats, who really do not give a care about what happens to American workers. Internationalist Democrats and their Republican counterparts, the globalists — like Richard Nixon, who do not care about American workers, they are corporatists, who support crony capitalism.
This right here is a perfect example of why the relations between the Democratic Party and the labor unions are frosty at best. That is because the Democratic Party for the last few instances that they have won elections, have been putting internationalist Democrats into the White House. This type of a Democrat talks a nice game, and puts out platitudes to the American autoworkers and their representatives in the unions; but when the “Rubber hits the road” so to speak, things change. They begin showing their true colors and start doing things to kick dirt in the face of the American worker.
I do not write this as a Conservative mocking the left, goodness no. I write this as someone who has a father, who is a retired General Motors worker, who is a member of the UAW. If anyone would know how the Democratic Party has treated the American autoworker in the last 30 years, it would be me. There was a time in this Country, when the Democratic Party used to respect the American autoworker and would literally step in front a train to defend them. Sadly, that time has passed, as the unions have lost their influence amongst the Democratic Party.
The loss of that influence in the Democratic Party is partially due to the actions of the internationalist Democrats, like Bill Clinton, who signed into law NAFTA and TAFTA. Some of that loss of influence is also due to the declining membership roles within the UAW and other said unions. Either way, it is sad transition in America, when our politicians in Washington D.C. put interests abroad before interests here at home.
Some of my readers, all three of you, might be shocked to see that I do not take a more mocking tone on stories like this and here is why I do not; Pat Buchanan said it best once, on one issue that I actually agree with him on — the American worker. Pat once said, “As goes Detroit, goes the Nation,” and you know what? Pat Buchanan is right about that, the United States of America used to be a manufacturing marvel. We produced everything ourselves, and other Countries used to come here to see how we did it all. Sadly, those times have come and gone, due to many reasons, a list of which is longer than the length of this blog entry will permit.
What is solution you ask, I know what it is; but most of the people who will come here to read, will not agree with it. However, I will give the solution. Firstly, the solution is NOT to bust up the unions, as they have as much right to proper representation, as the company owners have a right to make a profit. The solution to the problem is to get rid of these idiotic so-called “Free Trade” agreements. Secondly, the solution is to impose strict tariffs on EVERYTHING and I do mean everything that is manufactured overseas and imported into our Country.
These actions would do a couple of things; firstly it would protect the American workers from the globalists who want to undercut the American worker to make a quick dollar on the backs of cheap sweatshop labor in foreign countries like China. Secondly, it would solve our Nation’s revenue problem by creating a reliable source of income; one of which we did have in this Country for a very long time, before the globalists ripped it out, in favor of trade agreements.
Further, the solution is in whom we elect; Republicans and Democrats alike need to elect those who put America’s interests first, and not the interests who those abroad. To be fair, Republicans have done this too in this past and we as Americans need to watch what these new crop of Republicans really represent; do they represent the interests of the crony capitalists or do they have the American people’s interests in mind? Supposedly, the Tea Party movement brought some of this “America First” type of populism to the Conservative movement, but as of late, it seems that the Tea Party was nothing more than a passing fad. I just hope the people, who went to these protests, use the principles that were promoted at the Tea Party rallies, at the ballot box come November 2012.

If that does not nail Rick Santorum to a peg, I do not know what does. 😀 Although I must say, I never saw it as “anger,” but more of this idiotic bandying around his CatholicFaith. Between him and Romney’s whack job Mormonism, I fear for what this Country could become. If either of these two is picked for the nominee, I will be voting Libertarian Party again. I will repeat, what is on my About Me page and, I think, is on my About This Blog Page; and that is that my loyalty is not to the Republican Party —- but rather to principles. If I feel that the Republican Party is going to pick a big Government establishment Conservative, as George W. Bush was, I will vote Libertarian Party.
Some of you might be asking, “If you’re a Christian and a Fundamental Baptist, who do you dislike someone who is running as a Christian Conservative?” To this, I answer the following: My issues with Roman Catholicism aside —- While I think that it is great that there is a President candidate, who is a Christian and is not afraid to represent that, I just feel that Religion should not be the core or center issue in an election. This Nation is facing some serious issues, related to fiscal matters, not social; social Conservatism is a battle that the Republicans and the Conservative Christian community fought — and ultimately lost — back in the 1980’s. The Republican Party does not need to fight that battle again. I am very sorry to say this, but as much as I am a Christian and a defender of those beliefs. I do not believe that it is the right of anyone, to force his or her religious beliefs on anyone at all A logical fallacy drove the Christian Conservative movement of “God and Country” in the 1980’s and essentially, it was a dismal flop. This is because the philosophy of Senator Barry Goldwater was correct; which said you could not legislate morality.
This is why I tend to separate myself from the extreme religious right in this Country. This is what people like Ed Brayton tend to misunderstand about me. I am not an extremist at all. Just because I happen to think that Islamo-facism is a bit a problem and I happen to defend American values, does not make me someone who is alignment who is agreement with the far religious right, who believes in Christian domination. I just do not believe that any belief should be dominated over any other. I believe that ALL faiths should be able to practice their faiths in peace, without fear of persecution from Government or other rival faiths. I also happen to believe that if someone decides that he or she wishes to refrain from subscribing to that faith, that he or she has the right to be left alone as well.
This, my friends, is the true definition of freedom.
In the early morning hours, on the eve of a banquet designed to expose the homosexual activist agenda, security cameras on the campus of the Christian Liberty Academy, a school run by the Church of Christian Liberty in Arlington Heights, Ill., captured what may be a prominent example of an anti-Christian “hate crime.”
An unknown vandal or vandals threw chunks of concrete bricks through the school’s entryway with a message protesting the banquet, which was planned by Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, or AFTAH, to honor pro-family activist and author of “The Pink Swastika,” Dr. Scott Lively.
Upon the concrete bricks were written the words “Shut down Lively,” and the vandals included a note theatening more violence if the church and school didn’t stop hosting such “homophobic” guests.
“This is just a sample of what we will do if you don’t shut down Scott Lively and AFTAH,” the note reads. “F— Scott Lively. Quit the homophobic s—!”

Hours later, a “press release” was sent by email to AFTAH President Peter LaBarbera, Church of Christian Liberty Pastor Calvin Lindstrom and the Chicago Independent Media Center claiming responsibility for the attack.
“In the early morning hours of October 15th, we put two chunks of concrete through the glass windows and doors of the Christian Liberty Academy,” claims the author of the release, identifying himself only by a vulgar nickname. “We did this because at 6 p.m. today they will be hosting an event organized by the homophobic hate group Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, that [sic] will be presenting an award to Scott Lively.”
The statement continues, “These chunks of concrete were thrown through these windows and doors for two reasons: to show that there is a consequence for hatred and homophobia in our community and to directly cause this event to be shut down. If this event is not shut down, and the homophobic day trainings do not end, the Christian Liberty Academy will continue to be under constant attack.”
Despite what Rush Limbaugh and what Max Fisher over at the Atlantic might be saying; the President is right to be sending troops in this region. I will explain what I mean. The Lord’s Resistance Army is not a group of Christian missionaries or anything of that sort; it is a group of terrorists, who maim and kill — all the while hiding behind some sort of perverted pseudo-Christian doctrine.
I realize that the Conservative Blogosphere’s goal is to discredit this President and everything that he does. However, in this case, the President, in fact, is taking the correct steps in stopping this crazed group of thugs from hurting any more people than they already have. It was the right thing to do and we as Conservatives, who believe that no one should have to suffer at the hands of crazed tyrants, should be supporting the President’s action in this case.
I also understand that this group has been fighting against Muslims in the area, while I do not agree with the tenants of the Muslim faith. I do not believe that the methods being used by the group are legal, sane, or even moral. Furthermore, I believe the slaughter of innocent people, including the elderly is very an immoral act to commit.
I also realize that there are some, who are Conservative, might feel that the President is engaging in too many conflicts. Let me say this, this is not an engagement for the protection of empire; this is an engagement for the cause of morality. For many years, the United States of America has been the beacon of Democracy and for Christian morality throughout the entire World. What this group is doing to the people of that region is vile and immoral; in the case, I believe it is the United States of America’s responsibility to the insure that innocent people are no harmed any longer.
In closing: While this blog and its owner might disagree with the President’s domestic policy, I do wholeheartedly agree with the President’s decision to put a stop to the treachery that is taking place in this Country and to its people. I commend the President for stepping up to the plate and insuring the protection of the citizens of Uganda. It is my fervent hope and prayer, that the Lord’s Resistance Army is stopped from inflecting any more violence on innocent people.
Although, I would advise everyone to read the comments over at HotAir.com on this video. Seems the good doctor is not totally telling the truth here.

Sarcasm aside, this is my point: The problem with Ron Paul and his followers, is they believe that liberty only extends to the White Anglo-Saxon people of America; that is selective liberty and it is what America did for the first years of it’s founding, until Abraham Lincoln (A Republican!) put a stop to it and again in 1964, when we stopped the selective liberty process entirely.

The daughter of a Mormon bishop who has abandoned her family’s faith claims in a new book the election of Mitt Romney to the presidency would put the U.S. in danger due to what she calls the Republican’s “outrageous,” “horrific” and “mind-controlling” beliefs.
“While he attempts to portray Mormonism as just another Christian religion, Mitt Romney counts on his skills to shift our attention away from what he truly believes,” says Tricia Erickson, author of “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America.”
“If the American people knew what he truly believed, they would surely not place him in the highest office in the land.”
Yet others, such as professor Richard Bushman, a Mormon and previous missionary himself who has taught at Harvard, Columbia and Brown Universities, are defending the faith. He calls Erickson “disillusioned” and someone who “instead of walking away felt an obligation to discredit [her] former faith.”
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the official name for Mormonism, has rocketed into the national consciousness this month since Rev. Robert Jeffress, a Rick Perry supporter who pastors the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, said Romney was “not a Christian” and that Mormonism is a “cult.”
“Part of a pastor’s job is to warn his people and others about false religions,” Jeffress said Sunday, standing by his controversial remarks. “Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Mormonism are all false religions.”
In her book, Erickson paints an unflattering picture of the Mormon faith, which counts not only the former Massachusetts governor as a member, but also fellow GOP presidential contender Jon Huntsman, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., radio talk-show host Glenn Beck, singer Gladys Knight, actresses Amy Adams and Katherine Heigl, “Napoleon Dynamite” actor Jon Heder, entertainers Donny and Marie Osmond, and sports stars including the NFL’s Steve Young, Danny White and Merlin Olsen.
Erickson goes on to expose the insane beliefs of the Mormons and tell about her horrifying experience in that cult:

“Mormonism teaches we pre-existed on God the Father’s planet as spirit children before we were planted in our mother’s wombs,” Erickson told WND. “And the reason why we’re here according to Mormonism, is so that we can work out our own progression to godhood and our own planets themselves.”
The author, who herself was married in a Mormon temple at age 19 but now considers herself a non-denominational Christian, says there’s a secret agenda Mormon officials don’t like to talk about publicly.
“A complete takeover of the government,” she said. “They have more people in the CIA, the FBI. They have an employment office for Mormons in D.C. to be able to infiltrate them into the government.”
“They’ve been trying since the beginning to get someone in the presidency, because they believe they have to establish their authority so when Jesus comes to Earth, the Mormon Church will take control of the government and the Mormons will be the government of God on Earth,” she continued.
Erickson says her main concern is that the leader of the free world have the ability to discern fact from fiction.
“It may be crucial to our survival,” she said. “If his beliefs are distorted, which they unequivocally are, why would it not be be critical to our existence to protect our country from being placed in the hands of such a person?”
When asked for specific rituals she considers bizarre, Erickson claims Romney and other Mormons take part in clandestine marriage ceremonies involving “outrageous” customs. Explaining her own Mormon wedding, she says she was forced to completely disrobe against her will.
“It was horrific,” she told WND. “There I was standing naked. They brought this bowl of water, and started washing my body down and whispering prayers over my body. They stopped over the right and left breast, the navel and knees and prayed specific prayers.”
To help ensure the general public did not learn details of the rituals, she says believers took a symbolic knife to feign their own murder if members spilled the beans of what really goes on behind closed doors.
“They actually had us slashing our guts open and our guts falling to the ground if we told people of the secret dogma of the ceremonies,” Erickson said.
“Mitt is not a casual Mormon,” she told online interviewer Thom Hartmann, noting Romney has reached the upper echelons of the faith. “There is no way that he will be able to not listen to the [Mormon] prophet. His eternal salvation depends on it. He has to put the church first over country.”

As much as I would like to say that this is the first time that I have heard this; it is not, this young lady is not the only person to have told stories like this about the Mormon Cult. Here is another very, very, interesting radio program with Ed Decker. It is about the Free Masons and the founding of America. The Free Masons and the Mormon Church are joined at the hip. Please listen to this, you will find it very interesting. The show is from the early 1990’s, I believe anyhow. The show and the ministry which Ed appeared on went bankrupt in the 1990’s and went off the air. Ironically, the host’s wife died of cancer; she was diagnosed, not long after this show was broadcast.
The next book that I very highly recommend, is actually a comic book. It is a part of the “Crusader’s” series of Comic by a man, who I have much respect for; his name is Jack Chick:

Tonight I was looking at my logs and noticed that a posting about Canada, that I wrote in a fit of anger a year ago was gaining popularity on here. Well, that changed tonight, because I deleted the silly thing.
I mentioned on here Sunday that I had found a new Church. I am a Christian and it is time I started acting like one. Which means some things are going to change around here with the blog. They are:

No more behavior unbecoming of a follower of Jesus Christ — even with those I disagree with…
My reasons for this, are thus; what I do in the privacy of my home is one thing — what I do publicly on this blog is representation of my Church and of my Christianity. It is also for public consumption. The last thing that I want to do, is bring a reproach to the great Church that I just started attending.It says on my twitter bio that I am a lousy Christian. As of today, I am going to start a working’ on that lousy bit. If I screw up, call me on it, please and yes that includes the people who are not my friends.
I hope you all understand. But I am rounding another corner in my walk with the Lord and I do want you all to come with me. I won’t cut older posts, as that is in the past; unless it’s something very vulgar and some starts linking to it. But everything after this point will go through the, “is God pleased with this?” filter.

FBI and DEA agents have disrupted a plot to commit a “significant terrorist act in the United States” tied to Iran, federal officials told ABC News today.
The officials said the plot included the assassination of the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States, Adel Al-Jubeir, with a bomb and subsequent bomb attacks on the Saudi and Israeli embassies in Washington, D.C. Bombings of the Saudi and Israeli embassies in Buenos Aires, Argentina, were also discussed, according to the U.S. officials.
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in an announcement today that the plan was “conceived, sponsored and was directed from Iran” by a faction of the government and called it a “flagrant” violation of U.S. and international law.
“The U.S. is committed to holding Iran accountable for its actions,” Holder said. He said the White House will be meeting with federal agencies before announcing “further action” in regards to Iran.
FBI Director Robert Mueller said the arrest of a suspect in the plot shows the U.S. will “bring the full weight of [the] law to bear on those responsible” and that “any attempts on American soil will not be tolerated.”
The stunning allegations come against a backdrop of longstanding tensions between Iran and the United States and Saudi Arabia. In the last year, Saudi Arabia has attempted to build an anti-Iran alliance to push back against perceived aggression by Iran in the region.
This basically proves my point; that Bush did not do enough after 9/11. If Bush had acted like a real President and not like a wet rag after 9/11, we would not have this sort of troubles. Although, I will admit; I have sneaky feeling that this might spark some sort of Military action. Although, I do not believe it will be of the scale and scope of the War in Iraq.
If true, would that not be an act of war? We’re presently using drones in Pakistan and Yemen against al-Qaeda terrorist networks for plotting similar attacks, thanks to the AUMF from October 2001, even though we’re nominally allied with both nations. If the government of Iran plotted attacks on American targets, that should require a response from the US, should it not — or do we send a signal that even attacks from actual nation-states fall under the rubric of law enforcement?

If we’re charging an official of the Iranian government with complicity or worse in this plot, then it ceases to be a law enforcement issue and becomes a military and political issue instead. This isn’t a case of espionage but of sabotage or worse, which would be an act of war by anyone’s definition. If we’re not willing to respond in kind, we then send a signal to hostile nation-states around the world that attacks on the US are low-risk, high-reward affairs — and we’d better get ready for an avalanche of them.
There are some who would say, “Oh, he is just being a Neoconservative!” That might be so, but he is being a Neoconservative, who happens to be right. Ron Paul and ilk are just dead wrong. when it comes to Iran, Islam and the war on terror. They might have a point on Nation Building; but on this sort of thing, Ron Paul and his mindless followers are simply wrong.
Although the candidates other than Romney were reluctant to address the issue of religious bigotry, some prominent conservatives were frank and outspoken. Gary Bauer, perhaps the most influential Christian conservative, told me late Saturday that Jeffress had made a fundamental error. “For years I have urged Christians to be active engaged citizens. Our country desperately needs more citizens who understand that our liberty comes from God and that only a virtuous people can be free.” He continued: “Picking a candidate for public office is not the same thing however as selecting a pastor or rabbi. Politics is about picking someone who shares your views on public policy. Millions of Americans who do not worship the same way as I do none the less agree with me on the sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, America’s role in the world and fiscal responsibility.” As for Romney in particular, Bauer had these words of counsel for his fellow conservatives: “The attacks on Gov. Romney’s faith this weekend will only bring comfort to the Obama political machine and their radical secular allies who oppose virtually everything evangelicals and Mormons believe.”
Professor Robert George, a conservative legal and cultural scholar who previously moderated a candidate forum in South Carolina, had a similar reaction. He told me, “This late in the season of our experience, we should know that what matters is not a candidate’s religious affiliation, but rather the depth of his or her understanding of the “self-evident truths” at the foundation of our republic, and the strength of his or her commitment to honor those truths in governing. It doesn’t matter whether a candidate is a Protestant or a Catholic, a Mormon or Muslim or Jew.” Instead he said, “What we need to know is whether he or she possesses wisdom, vision, integrity, and courage. We need to ask whether he or she will protect the security of the nation and, from conviction, honor the principles of limited government, the rule of law, republican democracy, private property and the market economy, equality of opportunity, respect for civil liberties and personal responsibility, the sanctity of human life in all stages and conditions, and the integrity and autonomy of core nongovernmental institutions on which the health of civil society (and, to a large extent, the care of those in need) vitally depends, beginning with the marriage-based family and communities of religious faith.”
So we have here a contrast between moral leadership (by Bennett, Bauer, and George), on one hand, and timidity, on the other. Not only was Perry AWOL in denouncing Jeffress, but some of his prominent supporters (Govs. Bobby Jindal and Brian Sandoval) ignored requests for comment. (That might not sit well with Sandoval’s numerous Mormon constituents.) Another Perry backer Henry Barbour would only say to me via email, “I don’t think we need a religious litmus test for someone to serve as President.” And Cain’s campaign likewise ducked the issue entirely when I asked for reaction. To put it mildly, in this instance many conservative leaders showed courage while Republican pols demonstrated a shameful lack of moral leadership.
Al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen has confirmed the deaths of American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan, the young American propagandist killed alongside him in a U.S. drone strike late last month.
Al-Qaeda has also criticized the Obama administration for killing U.S. citizens, saying doing so “contradicts” American law.
“Where are what they keep talking about regarding freedom, justice, human rights and respect of freedoms?!” the statement says, according to a translation by SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadist Web sites.
The Obama administration has spoken in broad terms about its authority to use military and paramilitary force against al-Qaeda and associated forces, and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula would find itself hard-pressed to claim the moral high ground in the debate over the killing of Awlaki and Khan.
This is not Chutzpah, this is just blind arrogance.

My friends, this goes well beyond some Yiddish word for arrogance, gall, or nerve. This backward thinking is shared by the liberal left in this Country. In case anyone that happens to read this blog has forgotten, Al-Qaeda killed 2,977 of our citizens and injured over 6,000 of our citizens. This was an act of war and should have been treated more so, than it was by President Bush. What happened that day was on par with Pearl Harbor and should have resulted in the internment of all Arab citizens in this Country. What that day should have resulted in, was the suspending of the United States Constitution and an change to the first amendment by executive order; outlawing Islam in America forever, as a political philosophy and not a valid religion and the closing of all Mosques in this Country. What happened on that day; should have resulted in the deporting off all Muslims out of the United States forever and Arabs be given a choice, either embrace an American religion or leave. However, because of the weakness of Bush or a desire to please all, President George W. Bush chose the easiest path possible.
My friends, 9/11 is a living testament to the fact that Multiculturalism does not, in fact work. It is a lesson that the Far-Right people’s party in Switzerland is learning now, before it is too late. America did not learn that lesson on 9/11; we simply went after just one group, instead of the entire flock of them. This was the great mistake of America and is one that America will have live with for the rest of its existence. If you think, that Muslims will not attack America again, you a very highly mistaken. September 11, 2001 was the opening salvo in a war that will continue until the day that America realizes that Islam and its followers are not friends of America and will eventually destroy us from within, if we allow it.
Barack Obama may have 15 months left in his first term, but his supporters in Congress are already preparing for the day he’ll be an ex-president by introducing legislation that will allow him to keep his personal and presidential documents secret.
According to Judicial Watch, the Washington-based government corruption fighting organization, the proposal by Rep. Edolphus Towns of New York’s 10th District is “an obvious effort to protect President Barack Obama.”
“Ironically, Obama revoked a similar George W. Bush order in one of his first official acts as president. In 2001, Bush penned an executive order severely limiting public access to his presidential records. Shortly after swearing in, Obama killed it as part of his much-ballyhooed commitment to government transparency. At the time, the new president claimed that he was giving the American people greater access to ‘historic documents,'” Judicial Watch said.
“If the Democrats’ proposed measure (Presidential Records Act Amendments) becomes law, former presidents will be allowed to assert a new ‘constitutionally based privilege’ against disclosing records of their liking. Here is how it would work; the archivist of the United States would be required to notify the former president, as well as the incumbent, of intentions to make records public. Anything that either the former or current president claims should be kept private won’t be released,” the organization explained.
How ironic; the very President, who threw President Bush privacy under the bus, is now trying to protect his own skin; and with all of the scandal that is slowing trickling out of the White House, I do not think anyone should be shocked over this at all.
I wrote here yesterday that I had an encounter with a man from a Church here locally. I had planned on going to that Church this morning; but I was unable to get my tired self out of bed this morning. So, I went to the evening worship service. I must say, that I did enjoy the service and will most likely be going there, for now at least. First impressions are everything; and I was impressed.
It is a Missionary Baptist Church; I have been to one other Baptist Church of the same stripe, and it was nice, but very small. I decided against going to that Church. Well, this one is bigger and has a good deal of people in it.The people were very friendly and the Pastor an older, but very intelligent and friendly man.
I am prayerfully considering the whole matter and I ask for your prayers going forward in it.
God Bless this Woman for having the courage to stand for Christian Morals. I admit it, the idea of her being President, after abruptly leaving office in Alaska was not a good idea. However, I do admire the woman for having the courage to stand against the liberals and take the punishment from the left — and also from people on the right, like me, who thought she should not be President. I think Palin will be a player for a very long time. As I wrote before, I also think she should run for Senate. Then, maybe President in 2016. She has a good message, she just needs to build a resume.

During a speech focusing on faith and family, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin called for the “restoration of America” during the Extraordinary Women Conference at Liberty University in Lynchburg Saturday.
Palin’s 90-minute speech veered from stories about moose hunting to Tea Party politics to the challenge of raising a son with Down syndrome. Her message centered on the importance of having faith in God and steering America “back on the right track.”
“Now isn’t the time to retreat, now is the time to reload with truth so we can fight for this country and reload for America,” she said to more than 10,000 Christian women who traveled from across the country to hear her speak.
The theme for the evangelical Christian women’s conference was “extraordinary hope,” and Palin quipped:
“I’m talking about real hope, not that hopey changey stuff that some politicians try to get you go believe in.”
The visit was Palin’s first to Liberty, and hotels across the region sold out for the event.
Of course, you know that the liberal media; who lives under the whole “Eeek! Guns!” mentality will blast her for using gun phrasing. But real Americans, like me, know what she is talking about — which is why I run this blog and have ran it for 5 years with little or not pay at all. (in the beginning, there was NO pay, at all.) Because I love this Country, Because I very highly disagree with what the President is doing with this Country, because I want this Country to be what it was, when I was kid. That is why I — we are here, and a wake up call to the liberal left — we are not going away either. You may try and stop us; but we true Americans — are not going anywhere.
I guess the people like Andy Sullivan and his ilk are gonna be unhappy, because Sarah apparently has no intention of going away. I have to wonder what would have happened if they had just left her alone when she first went back to Alaska after the 2008 elections.
I happen to agree with that. Sully is was way too harsh on her and still is; I can understand wanting to get to the truth; but he has a very unnatural obsession with destroying her. It was terrible. I think it has more to do with her Christianity, than anything else.
Secondly, a rare occurrence here on political byline. I am going to disagree with a fellow Conservative blogger.
I think there’s a lot of truth there. Palin frequently is depicted as someone who sought out the spotlight and was a publicity hound, but the reality is that circumstances found her, not the other way around.
What if Palin had been allowed to function as Governor without the relentless attacks from the likes of Andrew Sullivan, various anti-Palin bloggers, the media, establishment Republicans, and frequent-filers of frivolous ethics complaints?
Attacking Palin became an industry, and when she fought back she was blamed. The derangement started the day she was designated by John McCain as the VP nominee, and it continues to this day from small people like David Frum.
Palin didn’t bring it on herself, but having found herself in the cross-hairs, she fought back. Good on her.
This is where I must disagree. Well, partially. The part I underlined and turned red is the part that I disagree with. Let me explain myself, least a blog war break out; and believe me, I really do not want that! 😯 Anyhow, there were times, when Sarah Palin, to use a phrase, shot herself in the foot. Mainly it had to do with messaging. Now, whether that was Sarah Palin’s fault or not; is another story. I believe a good amount of that was due to her poor handling in the beginning, by the McCain campaign and by the people who were originally advising her after the 2008 campaign.
The good thing is, that now, Palin has some very good people, giving her some very good advice — and it shows, greatly.
While I was at the hospital with my Dad, a man came over to me in the waiting room and handed me a gospel tract.
I very politely informed him, that I have a born again Christian since 1982. I also told him that I was looking for a new Church home. He invited me to check out his Church.
Turns out the Church is in the area here; it is one that I passed while driving in the area and one that I wondered about in the past. Well, the Church has a website and I looked at the statement of Faith and it pretty much is in line with what I believe as a Christian.
This is about as bad, as the video I posted earlier, of Herman Cain being berated by a liberal white man.
Let me give you a reality check; it is the same mentality. You wander off the plantation; whether it is the black liberal plantation or the Jewish liberal camp plantation —- you do this, and they attack you, with both barrels.
It is the same mentality of Adolf Hitler. One of, “you either submit to our mindset, or we destroy you.” Only difference is, liberals cannot round up Blacks and Jews and put them in camps.
First, Lawrence O’Donnell tries to accuse Herman Cain of draft dodging. Then, he accuses him of various idiot things. Not to mention the “Citizen Cain” in the Chyron at the bottom of the screen. Not to mention the whole condescending tone of the entire video.
There is only one thing that comes to my mind, when watching these videos — Racism. 😡
I mean, could you just imagine, if a Fox News Channel anchor had handled an interview like this, with a black man? There would be protests outside of the News Corp. Building, Fox News Channels studios in New York, and Al Sharpton would be calling for Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch’s head!

Again, watch the videos and think about if Fox News or any other Conservative outlet sounded this condescending or used “Citizen Cain” as a Chyron. What could the reaction be? I think we all know the answer.
Nothing pisses me off worse, than to watch a privileged white man, who happens to be a liberal; berate a black man, all because he happens to disagree with his politics. That is an outrage and if the Conservative media, including Fox News Channel, ever pulled a stunt like that, there would be riots in the streets. But because Mr. Herman Cain is a Conservative black man — it is perfectly fine. Hell, even this self-hating black man thinks its fine. What an asshole, what a traitor to the back race — sort of like this Murdering, race-hustling, jack ass, who is now dead.
This is another fine reason why I stopped voting for the Democrats, because it is like LBJ said himself:

…and you know what? The Democrats are keeping ’em voting Democratic Party; with hand outs and yes, with Brainwashing.
1) When you think of Herman Cain, do you ever find yourself thinking, “gee, he was a black teen in the early-1960s. Why didn’t he participate in civil rights movement?” I’m not an African-American and wasn’t alive in the ’60s, but so what if he didn’t? I am not sure what the implication is there, but was it incumbent upon ever African-American to march? And does not participating in the civil rights movement imply … what? I suppose it might be a fairer question to ask a white person who was around in that era, but only slightly.
I’m going to go out on a limb and presume that Herman Cain was opposed to segregation.
2) Out of nowhere, O’Donnell asked Cain, who worked (but did not serve) in the Navy, whether he was qualified to be Commander-in-Chief after not serving in Vietnam. Really?! Is this still a thing? I have a hard time believing that O’Donnell genuinely cares about Cain’s lack of military service (Clinton and Obama never served), but was possibly trying to posit him as a hypocrite. But that’s kind of hard to do when, while not exactly serving, he was working in ballistics for the Navy.
Seemed like a completely disingenuous line of questioning on O’Donnell’s part, and made me cringe.
