Aw Man: Fox News Host uses some rather stupid racially charged language — About the President

I hate writing about this kind of stuff, It’s because I know that the Republican Party is supposed to be the Party of Lincoln.

However, when you have stupid people, doing stupid stuff; like this. It is pretty freaking hard to defend that line.

This is Fox News Host Eric Bolling:

Yeah, I know where I got that video from; and I personally do not give a flying flip what ya’ll think about it either. You see, I feel about this; like I feel about other Republicans, who have dared to be this stupid. Get them the hell off the air and out of a job. You do something like that; I do not give a flying flip what your political views are, you’re an idiot and do not need to be on a Network representing a Conservative point of view.

For the record, I griped and bitched about a Fox News anchor that used the term “Terrorist Fist Bump” on the air, when referring to Obama. Her name was E.D. Hill and they got rid of her from that channel as well. At thought at the time, that it was lame, rude, and condescending towards a black man and I said so too! Not to mention the narrative that it was flaming; it was stupid and this is too.

Here is hoping that Eric Bolling goes to the unemployment line…..quickly.

Before anyone says it, don’t hand me no B.S. about “Freedom of Speech” either, okay? Because this was not free speech; this was speech designed to inflame and stoke Racial Bigotry and Division. This sort of ignorant crap is not even remotely Conservative or Republican.

Newt Gingrich is toast!

First my Video:

Newt Gingrich’s top staff quit en masse Thursday, throwing into question whether his already troubled presidential campaign can continue.

Two sources close to the situation confirmed that campaign manager Rob Johnson, strategists Sam Dawson and Dave Carney, spokesman Rick Tyler, and consultants Katon Dawson in South Carolina and Craig Schoenfeld in Iowa have all quit to protest what one called a “different vision” for the campaign.

In a statement on Facebook following the stunning news, Gingrich said he would stay in the race.

“I am committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign I set out to run earlier this spring,” he wrote.

But with his entire command leaving at once, that task will be considerably more difficult.

The mass resignation was, one source said, “a team decision.”

“The professional team came to the realization that the direction of the campaign they sought and Newt vision for campaign were incompatible,” said Carney.

Gingrich was intent on using technology and standing out at debates to get traction while his advisers believed he needed to run a campaign that incorporated both traditional, grassroots techniques as well as new ideas.

“We felt like he’d be better off if he had the opportunity to procede with his vision and how he wants to do things,” said a source.

via Newt Gingrich advisers resign en masse – Jonathan Martin and Maggie Haberman – POLITICO.com.

It is not only those guys, his Iowa crew just quit as well:

Newt Gingrich’s entire team of paid Iowa campaign staff, as well as his national spokesman and senior aides in New Hampshire and South Carolina, have resigned en masse, a staffer told The Des Moines Register.

“You have to be able to raise money to run a campaign and you have to invest time in fundraising and to campaign here in the state and I did not have the confidence that was going to be happening,” said Craig Schoenfeld, the Iowa executive director of Newt 2012.

“I’ve seen the schedule for June and July going into the straw poll. It’s clear there wasn’t a path to success,” he said.

The departures immediately raised questions about the future of Gingrich’s candidacy. The Georgia Republican, a former speaker of the U.S. House, announced via an online video on May 21 that he’s seeking the Republican nomination.

Shortly before 3 p.m. today, Gingrich posted this message on his Facebook page: “I am committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign I set out to run earlier this spring. The campaign begins anew Sunday in Los Angeles.”

But there’s no one left in Iowa to organize for him.

Sounds like this guy just might be toast. There are reports that Texas Governor Rick Perry might be wanting to run; that would be, I think, helpful. Although, in some quarters, Perry is considered an extremist on the right. But, what I have seen of him, does not bear that out. Although, I will confess, his whining about Obama not coming to Texas did not make him look to good.

Needless to say; this is all going to be very interesting to cover here in the coming months.

Quote of the Day – Part 2

The Afghan Debacle
The neocons also are fighting a rearguard action against anti-war Democrats and a few Republicans who favor a substantial drawdown of the 100,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The neocons insist on a longer counterinsurgency mission in Afghanistan.

However, even if Obama accedes to the slow withdrawal favored by neocon favorites Gates and Petraeus – and even if the President agrees to a renegotiation of the final U.S. departure date from Iraq – the longer troop commitments appear likely to only delay the day of reckoning.

Despite the massive commitment of blood and treasure, the United States will almost surely emerge from the two wars as the perceived loser. Still, any delay could be valuable for the neocons because the postponements will give them more time to shift blame to Obama.

The longer the wars can be stretched out the easier it will be to count on the famous historical amnesia of the American voters and fault Obama for the eventual defeats. It will be Obama who “lost Iraq” and “lost Afghanistan.”

That will play into the core Republican theme about Obama’s feckless leadership, failing to straighten out the economy and ready to accept U.S. decline around the world. Any suggestion that Bush deserves the blame will be met with the talking point, “there you go again, blaming Bush. When will Obama take responsibility for his own failures?”

The stage will be set for another Republican presidential victory in November 2012 – and a return by the neocons to the war rooms of the White House and the Pentagon.

Quote of the Day

“He was very personal with his own business,” she said, adding that within a few days, their exchanges had become sexual, and he was sending her explicit photos.

“I was like, Wow, that’s kind of out there, daredevil,” Ms. Broussard told Fox News’s “Hannity.”

Lisa Weiss, a 40-year-old blackjack dealer in Las Vegas, provided an account of her exchange with the congressman to RadarOnline.com. She said she first contacted the congressman, whom she called “the wonderful Anthony Weiner,” over Facebook in mid-August, to compliment his “Daily Show” appearance and to praise him for taking on Republicans in Congress. Just over a month later, according to transcripts of their conversations, their exchanges had turned raunchily sexual.

Ms. Broussard and Ms. Weiss did not return calls. But Ms. Cordova said that, for her, the last two weeks had brought an unwanted frenzy of media attention and, she said, misperceptions about her involvement with Mr. Weiner.

“I’ve had a really hard time trying to fight these implications that I’ve been involved in an inappropriate relationship with a married congressman,” she said.

She has struggled to stay out of the limelight, leaving college and completing class work by phone and e-mail.

Her interactions with the congressman since the controversy began have been spare and brief, she said. She gave Mr. Weiner a warning before she issued a statement to The Daily News when the underwear photo became public, and she heard from him the day of his confessional news conference: He sent her a text message apologizing moments before he walked onstage.

Ms. Cordova said she had mixed feelings about the congressman who propelled her, and himself, into a political maelstrom.

“I certainly don’t condone his behavior,” she said, “but I think that’s a personal matter between him and his family.

NYT: Weiner’s wife is preggers

Just when you it could not get any worse for the man. This drops:

Representative Anthony D. Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, in January.
Their marriage has become the subject of intense speculation and scrutiny amid an embarrassing online sex scandal.

Now, Representative Anthony D. Weiner and Huma Abedin are about to make news of a different kind: they are expecting their first child.

Ms. Abedin, 35, is in the early stages of pregnancy, according to three people with knowledge of the situation.

The pregnancy, which the couple has disclosed to close friends and family, adds a new dimension to questions about the future of their marriage.

Sad, disgusted…. Just a few words I am feeling right now.

Indeed.

Go Read Here and Here especially.

Now, before anyone hollers, “What about you!?!?

I wanted to wait and see; before I starting writing about it; and yes, it does have to do with the fact than Andrew BreitBart is not my high list of people that I respect! Don’t like it, tough shit! 😡

However, said discussed subject matter at said links is another clown; who cannot admit when he is wrong. Unlike me.

That is all.

What the hell does Joan Walsh mean by “Kinda”?!?!?

This via a certain little person, whom I’m not too fond of:

A funny quip at the source of this:

Good rule of thumb: When Ed Schultz sounds like the most reasonable person in your group, you have a problem.

Indeed. 😀

My favorite part is the whole, “I defended him, er, um, I mean, I gave him the benefit of the doubt!”

Too Funny! 😆

May God Bless Governor Jennifer Granholm!

Before anyone says this to me in the comments section,        I KNOW!

She was a horrible Governor. But for this little piece of clarity on Mitt Romney; she gets a “Atta-Gal!” from me.:

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is due in Detroit Wednesday and Thursday to fill his presidential campaign war chest. As at recent events, he’s likely to take partial credit for the extraordinary resurgence of the U.S. auto industry – a comeback that has created more than 12,000 jobs in Michigan alone over the past year.

Unfortunately for Romney, we aren’t likely to forget that, when our city most needed help, his response was simple: “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt.”

After the 2008 financial meltdown, America’s auto companies were in dire straits. To survive, they needed a loan to allow them to restructure. But no bank was lending.

Romney vehemently opposed helping the auto industry. But as he advocated a course that would have led to certain liquidation for Chrysler and General Motors, President Barack Obama made the bold decision to extend GM and Chrysler the support needed for the necessary restructuring.

[….]

So for him to claim now that he pointed the way toward the recovery of the auto industry is profoundly disturbing. When asked last week about Romney’s claim that Chrysler didn’t need federal loans, Chrysler chief executive officer Sergio Marchionne answered that he must be “smoking illegal material.”

That Romney is a native son of Michigan only makes his cold shoulder toward the auto industry in 2009, and his attempts to woo Detroit money today, even more shameful. His laissez-faire strategy toward our auto industry during its time of crisis was wrong from the start – and a clear indicator of the misguided leadership he would bring to the White House.

The U.S. is facing enormous economic and global challenges, so we need a leader who isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves to do what it takes to guarantee U.S. jobs and American success. It’s obvious that Romney is not that leader.

When Romney comes here with his hand out Wednesday, his Michigan supporters should treat him in the same way he treated the auto industry.

She might be a Canadian, and have been an lousy Governor. But she does know her Mitt Romney!  It is much too bad, that many on our side of the fence are not say this more. Not to mention, the jerk is now trying, pathetically to pander to the Sarah Palin crowd!

Hey Moron Mormon Boy! Quit while your ahead! 🙄

The crap is now hitting the fan for Weiner

In more ways than one….

First enter one Tim Kaine:

Video: (H/T HotAir.com)

Then, there is this:

Representative Anthony D. Weiner of New York, reeling from revelations of salacious online behavior that threaten his political career, moved rapidly on Tuesday to make amends as Republicans called for his resignation and leading members of his own Democratic Party distanced themselves from him.

Mr. Weiner spent much of the past 24 hours apologizing over and over to stunned Congressional colleagues and Democratic leaders angry at him for misleading them and the public. Even neighboring House Democrats seemed shaken, with many of them worrying that worse disclosures may still surface.

In a tense telephone call with Mr. Weiner, during which he apologized, Representative Nydia M. Velázquez of Brooklyn scolded him, as she recalled: “How can you explain that somebody can be so smart but so stupid?”

Asked if Mr. Weiner should resign, she replied, “The most important thing in this business is credibility.”

Signs of a redrawn political reality quickly emerged for Mr. Weiner, once considered a top contender to become mayor of New York. His campaign donors said they were especially shocked and furious because a week ago the congressman attributed his online travails to a “vast right-wing conspiracy,” a contributor who spoke with him said.

via Weiner Moves to Make Amends Amid Calls for His Resignation – NYTimes.com.

When you’ve lost your Party and your donors; that is usually a good time to get out of the position you are working in. I believe he will be gone by Friday. I bet there are a great number of Democrats who hope that he is gone by Friday!

AFL-CIO Boss says, “We have enough of Democrats crap”

Normally, I would rip on something like this; but because I come from a union family and because I have a very long memory, I get it.

Via The Hill:

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka amplified his call for a politically independent labor movement Tuesday and said unions too often are holding “a canceled check” after Election Day.

Trumka rallied hundreds of nurses at a conference hosted by the National Nurses United. The nurses are in Washington this week to lobby lawmakers for a financial transactions tax that could help pay for social services.

Trumka said unions want “an independent labor movement” that doesn’t support just one political party or candidate. Labor has often been unhappy with its traditional allies in the Democratic Party, and Trumka said friends of unions in Congress have often paid little heed to workers’ needs.

“For too long, we have been left after Election Day holding a canceled check waving it about — ‘Remember us? Remember us? Remember us?’ — asking someone to pay a little attention to us. Well, I don’t know about you, but I’ve had a snootful of that s–t,” Trumka said to cheers.

Now, there are some on my far right, that would say, ” See? This proves that labor controls the Democratic Party!” Well, there is much more to this than that.

You see, I happen to remember the 1990’s and the era of the Clinton Administration. I also remember the signing of the NAFTA bill. I also remember the labor movement; especially the UAW and related unions never forgave Bill Clinton for signing that bill.

Because you see, to the labor movement, Clinton’s signing of that bill was the ultimate abdication of the progressive principles that the Democratic Party. To them, Clinton sold the unions and the members who work in the auto plants here in Detroit up the river.

So, what you are seeing here is simply “blowback” from those actions. Also too, it has been reported that the attitude of the Obama Administration is; or at least was, “f—- the big three!” That sort of attitude, does not bode very well amongst the union members or with the labor movement at all.

Now, for the realist “right of center” view of this; any attempt by the labor movement to create a new political party will be an abject flop and could be a disaster for the labor movement. My reasons for thinking this are:

1. The Democratic Party is very highly financed. Not to mention Party bosses carry a good deal weight and are known to use questionable tactics to get what they want. I predict a “Battle of the overpass” style of attack, if this plan of the AFL-CIO goes through with such a plan.

2. The second most important reason that this approach will flop is this; the labor movement simply does not have the numbers anymore

Way back in the 1940’s; before, during, and after World War 2, union membership was at its zenith and on into the 1950 and 1960’s union membership blossomed. However, those days of union growth and strength are over. They simply do not have the clout anymore in the progressive movement anymore.

Because if this; I personally believe that this idea would be a foolish move. While I greatly admire those who strongly believe in their convictions; I believe this would do more to hurt the labor movement, than it would ever help.

To my liberal friends: is this acceptable?

File this one under, “If Rush Limbaugh had said this about Obama.”

This comes via The Daily Caller (with video, be sure and watch it, please!!!)

Sometimes there is a line that is crossed between what appropriate for comedy and what’s likely off limits. But did comic Christopher Titus cross that line?
In an appearance on Monday’s “The Adam Carolla Show” podcast, Titus may have waded into that territory. In responding to a question about former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” in which Palin defended her interpretation of what happened during Paul Revere’s pre-Revolutionary War famous ride, Titus launched into a description of what he would do if Palin were elected.
“You know what man?” Titus said. “I am going to literally — if she gets elected president, I am going to hang out on the grassy knoll all the time, just loaded and ready — because you know what? It’s for my country. It’s for my country. If I got to sacrifice myself, it’s for my country.”

To my liberal Democratic Party friends: Is jokes about assinating a conservative female acceptable? Is joking about assinating ANY sort of political figure, even remotely funny?

If not, then why are not more liberals speaking out about it?

In the name of decency; we need to stop this; before something awful happens again.

Stupid: Gardian says Thatcher will not meet with Palin “Because she’s nuts”

What a load of bunk!

Via the liberal rag, The Guardian

Sarah Palin wants to show to the Republican right that she is the true keeper of the Ronald Reagan flame by meeting the late president’s closest ally on the world stage.

A meeting with Margaret Thatcher in the centenary year of Reagan’s birth would be the perfect way of launching her bid for the Republican nomination for the 2012 US presidential election.

This is what Palin told Christina Lamb in the Sunday Times:

I am going to Sudan in July and hope to stop in England on the way. I am just hoping Mrs Thatcher is well enough to see me as I so admire her.

It appears that the former prime minister has no intention of meeting the darling of the Tea Party movement. Andy McSmith reported in the Independent this morning that Palin is likely to be “thwarted” on the grounds that Thatcher, 86, rarely makes public appearances.

It would appear that the reasons go deeper than Thatcher’s frail health. Her allies believe that Palin is a frivolous figure who is unworthy of an audience with the Iron Lady. This is what one ally tells me:

Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts.

I do not believe for one second, that Margaret Thatcher referred to Sarah Palin as “Nuts”, ever. I believe this little article to be a classic textbook example of british liberal snobbery.

I do not believe it is any sort of conspiracy; just your a-typical British elitism; for which the British are known. Also too, I believe that these writers might just be injecting their own political bias into the story as well.

Just my opinion… 🙂

Here is my politically incorrect statement of the day: maybe we should have allowed Hitler to destroy those people. After all they did try and force us back under the crown; at one time.

We did all that work and spent all that money to rebuild that Nation and this is the thanks we get? This should be proof that Nation-Building is damed pointless, because those you do it for, do not respect you nor appreciate what you do for them.

WeinerGate Continues: TMZ reports that Weiner asked porn star to lie

Oh boy…:

From TMZ.com

Congressman Anthony Weiner instructed one of his Internet women how to lie about their relationship … and even offered PR help from his team, which could create major legal issues for him … TMZ has learned. Weiner and former porn star Ginger Lee exchanged scores of sexual emails over a long period of time.  When the underwear scandal broke on May 28, Lee began receiving calls from the media, and Weiner was more than happy to help her control the situation … by lying. On June 2, Weiner emailed Lee, “Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice?  I can have someone on my team call. [Yeah, my team is doing great. Ugh].” It’s unclear if Weiner’s PR team is from his Congressional staff.  If so, Weiner could run afoul of House Ethics Rules as well as the law.

Looks like Weiner might be gone by the end of the week. This stuff is building and sooner or later, he is going to have to go. Much to her credit Nancy Pelosi is ordering an investigation into whether Weiner broke any ethics laws or not. Time will tell or not whether he faces any charges or not.

Either way, this is a huge blow to the Deomcrats on the hill and in New York.

Video: Public Apology to AllahPundit & Ed Morrissey

Now, to show you all what I am talking about; this:

Folks, I have mentioned here in the past, it has been a while; but I do need to mention it again. I am not, nor have I ever been a hyper-partisan or a partisan blogger at all —- period, end of story. Corruption exists on both sides of the aisle. There are corrupt Republicans and there are corrupt Democrats. I do not buy into that whole idea that somehow or another that Democrats are more corrupt than Republicans are. That is partisan nonsense and I simply do not play that game, at all.

It is obvious to the writer of this article; that this persecution of this man is of a partisan base. Anything that Andrew Breitbart is involved in is purely of a partisan nature. I will never give Breitbart, that vulgar piece of human excrement, any more attention or bandwidth than this man really honestly deserves.

Okay, the part about this all being partisan was wrong and yes, I do have egg on my face. Now, I remembered mentioning AllahPundit and Ed over at HotAir.com and linking to something they had written at first. But I seem to have deleted that posting.

Anyhow, Guys, you were right and I was wrong and, again, I apologize.

Not that I really feel the need to do this; but for writing and public record sake. I will explain this a little. I was doing what any Conservative or “Right of Center” blogger would do — Using Restraint. I did not want to join the pile on; before I had “All of my ducks in a row,” so to speak. Because, like I wrote before, this stuff, sometimes, can blow up in your face and I did not not want to be in the “Oops, we were wrong” crowd. So, I held off and would not write about it. Anyone who wants to be taken seriously at all; by anyone outside of a target audience does that. ]

So, there you go. My explanation and offering to the Blog gods. 😉 😛 😀

I have been really giving this mobile business a serious thought. I tried another mobile theme and it looked great. But my “related posts” plug in did not like it. So, I am back go the old one.

Only thing lacking from this plug in and many others is the ability to add links to a post, without going through the hassle of manually coding a URL. What a pain in the ass!

Oh well, it’s better than nothing. Stupid people, don’t they know that bloggers link?
