Seriously, why the hell would I care what Mark Foley thinks?

This will be one of them posts where I am going to make some on the far right angry… I think.

Nearly three years after then-Congressman Mark Foley, R-FLA, saw his political career crumble following the revelation of his sexually explicit emails with underage congressional pages, he’s garnering the spotlight once again: as a radio talk show host.

Foley, who resigned after ABC News’ The Blotter broke the story before going to rehab in Arizona, is set to debut his radio show entitled “Inside the Mind of Mark Foley” on Sept. 22 on West Palm Beach radio station WSVU 960am.

“You’re going to be amazed,” said WSVU spokesman Joseph Raineri of Foley. Raineri said that “with everything that’s going on with healthcare and everybody questioning what’s happening in Washington, DC, we thought who better to explain what’s going on than Mark Foley.”

I mean, I know this is going to make me sound like a crass asshole; which I will readily admit to being. But I really just do not give two flips what this morally depraved faggot thinks about anything at all.  Because more than likely it involves little boys and naked gay men; and I am just not really into that sort of thing.

Needless to say, I doubt very many people will be listening to this man’s show. I think he seriously needs to just disappear. As he was an embarrassment for the Republican Party.

What some people will not do, to stay in the spotlight. Oy. 🙄

Looks like the Conservatives are not the only reactionaries!

Looks like the Democrats did a little “Going Overboard” themselves!

Via Bryon York over the Washington Examiner:

The controversy over President Obama’s speech to the nation’s schoolchildren will likely be over shortly after Obama speaks today at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. But when President George H.W. Bush delivered a similar speech on October 1, 1991, from Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington DC, the controversy was just beginning. Democrats, then the majority party in Congress, not only denounced Bush’s speech — they also ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate its production and later summoned top Bush administration officials to Capitol Hill for an extensive hearing on the issue.

Unlike the Obama speech, in 1991 most of the controversy came after, not before, the president’s school appearance. The day after Bush spoke, the Washington Post published a front-page story suggesting the speech was carefully staged for the president’s political benefit. “The White House turned a Northwest Washington junior high classroom into a television studio and its students into props,” the Post reported.

With the Post article in hand, Democrats pounced. “The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students,” said Richard Gephardt, then the House Majority Leader. “And the president should be doing more about education than saying, ‘Lights, camera, action.'”

Democrats did not stop with words. Rep. William Ford, then chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate the cost and legality of Bush’s appearance. On October 17, 1991, Ford summoned then-Education Secretary Lamar Alexander and other top Bush administration officials to testify at a hearing devoted to the speech. “The hearing this morning is to really examine the expenditure of $26,750 of the Department of Education funds to produce and televise an appearance by President Bush at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, DC,” Ford began. “As the chairman of the committee charged with the authorization and implementation of education programs, I am very much interested in the justification, rationale for giving the White House scarce education funds to produce a media event.”

The problem was that there was no harm done at all:

Unfortunately for Ford, the General Accounting Office concluded that the Bush administration had not acted improperly. “The speech itself and the use of the department’s funds to support it, including the cost of the production contract, appear to be legal,” the GAO wrote in a letter to Chairman Ford. “The speech also does not appear to have violated the restrictions on the use of appropriations for publicity and propaganda.”

The real sick and sad part is….this:

That didn’t stop Democratic allies from taking their own shots at Bush. The National Education Association denounced the speech, saying it “cannot endorse a president who spends $26,000 of taxpayers’ money on a staged media event at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, D.C. — while cutting school lunch funds for our neediest youngsters.”

Lost in all the denouncing and investigating was the fact that Bush’s speech itself, like Obama’s today, was entirely unremarkable. “Block out the kids who think it’s not cool to be smart,” the president told students. “If someone goofs off today, are they cool? Are they still cool years from now, when they’re stuck in a dead end job. Don’t let peer pressure stand between you and your dreams.

As I said yesterday; I feel that the reaction of the far right on this whole School speech was a bit of an overreaction. I believe in legitimate criticism of the President’s policies; when they are based on facts. But when they are based on paranoia and fear-mongering —- or worse, racism. That is when I have to politely object to the protests and howling of the far right. Personally, I do not feel that there is anything wrong with the Presidents encouraging young people to do well. Yes, I am aware of the books that some teachers were going to pass out and then quickly withdraw amid protests from parents.  I am also aware of the subtext and context of recent events. But to say that this was a attempt at indoctrination or subterfuge to possess the minds of our young people, is a bit a stretch. If anything, it was a poorly planned or even possibly poorly timed event. Heck, for all we know, this school speech may have been planned long before this Van Jones controversy even broke.

I just believe that it is most tragic, is that the far right is making the same tragic reactionary mistakes, that the far left made during the tenure of the Bush Administration.  The question that we Conservatives must ask ourselves is this; what exactly did the far left’s reactionary actions accomplish? The answer is, if you are being intellectually honest, is nothing. My question to my fellow Republican and Conservative Bloggers is this; do we really want to make the same tragic mistakes as the left did, during the Bush Administration?   Do we really want to be known as the Party of reactionary politics?

I realize that some of my readers might be thinking; “This is coming from the same person, who wanted to see Obama’s Original long form Birth Certificate.” and I would like to see it. But I do not believe that it should define Conservatism or our movement of being the “Loyal Opposition.” This is why I do not really like to identify myself  as a “Birther”; because I just really do not feel that we as Conservatives should be wasting our name on such trivial matters as this and over a school speech. What we should be focusing on, is the important issues, such as Obama’s attempt to push Socialized Healthcare and other such important matters, such as Foreign Policy and other such important matters.

Hopefully, you understand my feelings here.

Update: Of Course, stuff like this isn’t helping either…. Ugh.  🙄

Liberals now accuse us of being terrorists

That is correct, we are now the terrorists; that is according to the far left African-American wing of the Democratic Party.

I am, of course, referring to this absolutely asinine rant here.  I would quote that bunch of nonsensical prattle on this blog and respond to it directly; but I am afraid that my emotions would get the best of me and I would say something that I might regret later. Leave it to the idiotic Socialist Liberal Democrats, to turn a fact finding mission, about an admitted Communist, who said everything and I do mean everything; under the damn sun about white people into a “White vs Black” witch hunt; starring of course; Glenn Beck.

The truth is folks, this had nothing to do with “White vs Black” and everything to do with Right vs Wrong. In fact, here is Glenn Back’s Statement about Van Jones’s ouster:

The American people stood up and demanded answers. Instead of providing them, the Administration had Jones resign under cover of darkness. I continue to be amazed by the power of everyday Americans to initiate change in our government through honest questioning, and judging by the other radicals in the administration, I expect that questioning to continue for the foreseeable future.

That is the truth about what really happened people. The Socialist Liberals seem to forget something; and that is that not every person under the Sun voted for Barack Obama. Some that voted for radical extremists like Bob Barr, some that wrote in the name of the crazy extremist Texas Representative Ron Paul, some that actually held their noses and voted for Moderate Republican John McCain and his V.P. Pick Caribou Barbie; er, um, I mean, Sarah Palin.

That my friends is 42% of this Country of ours. Yes, President Obama won fair and square; there is no disputing that.  But he won the election for President of the United States of America and NOT President of the Democratic Party; NOT President of extreme socialist wing of the Democratic Party, not President of the Socialist States of America, not the President of the African-American wing of the Democratic Party —- But the United States of America. President Barack Obama is the American people’s President and we, as Americans, have a obligation as United States citizens to hold this President accountable for every last damn decision that he and congress make.  The same was true with George W. Bush and the Republican Congress and the same is and will be true with THIS President and this Congress.

We just cannot allow, nor can we afford, to become complacent in our attitude towards politics and Washington D.C. and most importantly about the Obama Administration.  That is what the Obama Administration wants; everyone just to tune out and let them handle everything. Let me be the first to say this; as a Independent Conservative writer, and not as a Republican —– that complacency is what got this Country in this mess in the first place. What am I talking about? I am referring to the last nine years in the Country. Back in 2000. There was an election, we elected George W. Bush, then the day after the election, the America said, “Okay, that is over with!” and they proceeded to tune out politics and went back to their normal lives.  Then 9/11 happened and everybody paid attention again, and that lasted about a month or so, maybe two or three; but by the time December of 2001 had rolled around the majority of America had moved on or lost interest.  Then 2003 rolled around, George W. Bush sort of declared war against a Country that had zero to do with the 9/11 attacks. All because upon intelligence that we now know was horribly bad. Again, everyone paid attention, for a while, maybe for about a month or so. But then, the story got to be old hat and the majority of Americans lost interest. Then came 2006, the Iraq War turned ugly — troops started dying in mass; and the American people got angry and started demanding answers. Changes were made, idiots were fired, and a magical surge happened and everything was fine again, and again the people tuned Washington D.C. and the President out, again.

Then came the 2008 elections, which really started way back in 2007. I know, I blogged about them; daily. The American people started, ever so slowly to pay attention again, weary from the Bush Years, people wanted change. Then in the middle of the horse race in 2008, the economic bubble burst and burst bad it did. This is when everyone and I do mean everyone began to pay attention.  What would President Bush do? What would become of our Nation? The American people actually said, “What will become…of me?” Bush did what any beltway Conservative does in time of crisis; he became a Democrat and started trying to prime the pump. He threw money at the Bankers and very quickly left the scene. By this time, the damned world was watching and some, were scratching their heads and wondering; “What on earth are these people doing to our Nation?”

Then the day of reckoning arrived; November 4, 2008. The Nation was in dire need of change and a new President; and the American people did what our Constitution guarantees us —- A right to vote.  During the election, Conservatives like myself, raised our objections to the Democratic forerunner and his policies.  But, the majority of the American people either were not listening or just simply did not care. They wanted a change in direction and boy did they ever get one!

Six months have passed now and Obama’s mantra of Hope and Change is now soured and the very people that voted for him are not shaking their fists in disgust at this President. His policies are failing, tax cheats have bailed, a Communist has resigned over furor of statements made by him. His own very base is now turning on him.

Where am I going with this? What is my point?

My point is this. The American people are actually paying attention to what you do, Mr. President. Do not deceive yourself into believing that you can just do what you damned well please. Your backroom deals with big pharma will come back to haunt you in 2012. Your feeble attempt to fix this economy has essentially failed.  You hired a racist-baiting, bigoted, Communist for a “Green Jobs Czar.” The American people, with the assistance of the Conservative Blogosphere; you know those 42% of Americans that did not vote for you. —- have become well informed of you actions sir. We will continue to fight for what we believe in, Mr President.

We are the loyal opposition. We have nothing to apologize for….. and we’re not going any damned where. Mr. President we elected you and we will make sure, that you are doing your job. We cannot ever afford to tune out, nor will we ever do so again.

Prepare for Liberal Backlash Against Conservatives!

I was afraid something like this was going to start.

Due to the stupid behavior of Van Jones and his subsequent resignation. The liberal MSM is now gearing up for a return attack against Glenn Beck; and they are employing the services of the Liberal Blogosphere to do so.

To his much deserved Credit, Ed Morrissey predicted that this would happen:

What exactly does that mean?  In the next Republican administration, we can expect a great deal of scrutiny for Presidential advisers.  For one thing, it means that no one who ever expressed public support for Birthers to get the benefit of the doubt.  The two conspiracy theories are different, but they both are entirely speculative and imagine dark conspiracies at the highest orbits of power, and neither have any actual direct evidence for support.  Anyone who signed a Birther petition can expect to get bypassed for political appointments in a Republican White House with a halfway-decent vetting team, strictly on the basis of politics, in the wake of Jones’ resignation.

The media and the leftward parts of the New Media will get to work in the meantime on advisers and staffers of Republicans in Congress, and in the New Media itself.  They will use the Van Jones Standard to launch attacks on high-profile conservatives, looking for everything from John Birch Society membership to militias and Birtherism as well.  They have done this all along, but the Left and the media will find much more enthusiasm for these efforts in order to trade Van Jones’ scalp for one or more on the Right.

Ed has never been wrong before; and it appears that it is already starting against Glenn Beck. RedState’s Erick Erickson has discovered an Plea Entry over at DailyKos from none other than the DNC’s chief spokesperson himself; Keith Olbermann, asking for any and all dirt on Glenn Beck and his producers and anyone else over at Fox News.

Quote: (H/T to this story to GOP NEWS on Twitter)

I don’t know why I’ve got this phrasing in my head, but: Find everything you can about Glenn Beck,  Stu Burguiere, and Roger Ailes.

No, even now, I refuse to go all caps.

No, sending me links to the last two Countdowns with my own de-constructions of his biblical vision quality Communist/Fascist/Socialist/Zimbalist art at Rockefeller Center (where, curiously, he works, Comrade) doesn’t count. Nor does sending me links to  specious inappropriate point-underscoring prove-you’re-innocent made-up rumors.

Despite the worn-out snark above, I am in earnest here.

Tuesday we will expand this to the television audience and have a dedicated email address to accept leads, tips, contacts, on Beck, his radio producer Burguiere, and the chief of his tv enablers, Ailes (even though Ailes’ power was desperately undercut when he failed to pull off his phony “truce” push).

This becomes necessary after this in order to prove various cliches about goose and gander, and to remind everybody to walk softly and carry a big popsicle, and most particularly to save this nation from the Oligarhy of The Stupid.

I keep wondering if somewhere somebody named Ollie Garhey thinks he’s in charge now. Or, even more entertainingly and societally satisfying, if somebody named Ali Garhi does.

Despite the worn-out snark above, I am in earnest here.

You almost hear the desperation in that posting above. The Liberals took a massive pounding and they are in earnest trying to find a way to volley a return fire at Glenn Beck. If you believe that they are going to stop with Glenn Beck; you are kidding yourselves. My suggestion to ALL Conservative Bloggers is this. Girt your loins, prepare for attacks on your blogs, by Socalists. If you are running WordPress Blogs, update to the latest version of WordPress. Because right now, there is a worm spreading around that is taking out older versions of WordPress.  I would expect that these socialist minions are more than willing to try DOS attacks on blogs. Especially high profile Blogs. If you do not have a good relations with your host. Now would be a good time to start one or find a host that is blogger friendly.

It is not my intention to scare anyone or anything of that nature. But it would be prudent of all of us; that if we continue to challenge this Administration; we must be prepared for the fallout and for any sort blow-back that might result from the resignation of Obama Administration officials.  Remember we are doing the Lord’s work. This is our God-Given Country, and we must stand up for the principles that this Country was founded upon; which are God-Breathed.   While I do not view all Democrats as my enemy per-say; I view socialists and Socialism, especially of the Saul Alinsky strand, to be an Enemy of America; right up there with Al-Qaeda. We must be strong, we must be wise and above all, we must be ready.

Patrick Ruffini wants to raise Buckley from the dead

Patrick Ruffini lamenting that the Conservative movement is not being taken seriously by anyone, but maybe themselves laments:

Over the last few days, Jon Henke has laid out the case for the Right more strongly disavowing outfits like WorldNetDaily that actively peddle Birther nonsense. To the extent the mainstream Right has weighed in, it has been to urge Jon to ignore WND and move on, in the interests avoiding an intra-movement civil war. Some have even tried to subtly distance Jon from the conservative movement, saying his views don’t represent those of most conservatives. Many on the Right have made the calculation that however distasteful their views, a public fight with the Birthers just isn’t worth it.

As a fiscal and social conservative, I happen to think Jon is completely in the right here, both substantively and strategically. Don’t raise the canard that we ought to be attacking Democrats first. Conservatives are entirely within their rights to have public debates over who will publicly represent them, and who will be allowed to affiliate with the conservative movement.

The Birthers are the latest in a long line of paranoid conspiracy believers of the left and right who happen to attach themselves to notions that simply are not true. Descended from the 9/11 Truthers, the LaRouchies, the North American Union buffs, and way back when, the John Birch Society, the Birthers are hardly a new breed in American politics.

Each and every time they have appeared, mainstream conservatives from William F. Buckley to Ronald Reagan have risen to reject these influences — and I expect that will be the case once again here.

But there is another subtext that makes Jon’s appeal more urgent. As a pretty down-the-line conservative, I don’t believe I am alone in noting with disappointment the trivialization, excessive sloganeering, and pettiness that has overtaken the movement of late. In “The Joe the Plumberization of the GOP,” I argued that conservatives have grown too comfortable with wearing scorn as a badge of honor, content to play sarcastic second fiddle to the dominant culture of academia and Hollywood with second-rate knock-off institutions. A side effect of this has been a tendency to accept conspiracy nuts as a slightly cranky edge case within the broad continuum of conservatism, rather than as a threat to the movement itself.
Via Can We Have Buckley Back? | The Next Right.

However, the real reasons that the Conservative movement is in the shape that it is in, is found right in the comments section of “The Next Right”

First there’s this:

I don’t know if you consider them elites, but I did—and I suspect many Republicans did as well.

Peggy Noonan

David Brooks

David Frum,

And, last but certainly not least, Kathleen Parker.

At a time when we were trying to win the 2008 elections, this crew was bashing Sarah Palin full-time.  The time for bashing had past; the time for banding together to win an election was at hand.  And what did this crew of elites do?  Elites, thank you very little. You played no small part in the fact that we now have an administration that has abandoned our ally Honduras and is spending our grandchildren into poverty.

The real way Bill Buckley saved conservatism was by inspiring Ronald Reagan, Tommy Thompson, John Engler, Newt Gingrich and others to enter the political world.  You know—the place where we pick people that actually MAKE LAWS, instead of writing witty op-eds and appearing on Hardball.

Recently, we watched another conservative elite, Charles Krauthammer, tell the world that Sarah Palin was unfit to engage in the healthcare debate…at the same time that her “death panels” charge helped sway the tone of debate against Obamacare.

Sorry, but I’m less than impressed with GOP elites.  They stabbed us in the back in 2008. Fool me once..

….and then, there is this:

We didn’t abandon you during the election, you abandoned us by nominating a weak liberal republican and a semi-retarded christian fundy. I’m not going to change my views to “fit in” with the GOP if that’s the way they want to represent me.

During 2008, I was bashing McCain and palin ( as well as Obongo ). I will continue to bash these type republicans until they get out of my party.

I would say that both of these are basically correct. Not to mention electing and then reelecting a President who’s Wilsonian foreign policy forced him to invade a Country that had zero to do with 9/11. That is why McCain was not elected and, too, because black people actually voted in this election. Not say that there is anything wrong with that fact; just making a point. Also, Obama’s campaign was just better ran and his message more clear. John McCain was too damn busy suspending his campaign to look like a hero. Which actually made him look like an idiot. Hence the reason he lost also.

I could go on and on. However, I think you know what I mean.

Update: Robert Stacey McCain basically agrees with me about WND and the Birthers. Now McCain and Palin are another story. He loves that feckless Woman. I, on the other hand, think that she is an idiot.

Update #2: Around the Sphere has a round up on the subject, all the while ignoring me.

Steven Crowder asks – Are You a Homophobe For Not Supporting Gay Marriage?

Synopsis: Steven Crowder explains how reasonable people are facing unreasonable consequences for not supporting gay marriage and imagines what other parades would look like if they were more like gay pride parades.

Pat Buchanan jumps the shark….again

I just did something that will most likely not endure me to the Paleo-Conservative part of our movement.  I formally requested that the owner of Pat Buchanan’s mailing list would remove me from it.  This is because of Pat Buchanan’s continued justification of the actions of Adolf Hitler.  Admittedly, when the article came bounding through my e-mail inbox yesterday, my first reaction, upon reading the title was, “Oh God, not this again.”

Pat Buchanan

Pat Buchanan

I will be the first to admit, that I agree with Pat Buchanan of fiscal matters and with this take on the Obama Administration.  However, when it comes to foreign policy and his take of the history of this Country, namely the events leading up to World War II —— Pat Buchanan is out in left field. Originally, when I was going to write this, I was going to rip that feckless old goat a good one.  However, I figure he will receive a fair share of goading from the left about this rather silly article that he has written.  Therefore, I will leave that chore to those who are best at berating Conservatives.

However, I will end this piece with something that I wrote about last week.  Rachel Lucas, a smart Texas gal of whom I have uttermost respect for; has written a very excellent article on her visit to the death camps in Poland.  Perhaps Pat Buchanan should read this posting, before he writes another one of these “Hitler was justified” type of articles.  By the way, Rachel is living overseas for the next two years.  She is blogging about her experiences over there; it is quite the treat to read.  I really do highly recommend it.

You can read the roundup of Anger towards Pat Buchanan by clicking here.

John Henke gets pushback and then whines about it.

I find this one extremely funny. John Henke calls for a Boycott of WorldNetDaily and then when WND‘s readers push back, he whines about it.

No wonder the left thinks we are bunch of damned idiots. Because of stupid stuff like this right here.

For the record, I think all Conservative viewpoints are welcomed and needed. Not just those that John Henke thinks is acceptable. His whole idea that Buckley would have boycotted WND is absolutely asinine. Not mention borders on Elitism, and approaches the level of insufferable asshole. I would expect something like this from say; Ed Schultz or even Sean Hannity, Both being insufferable assholes themselves. But coming from someone in the Grass Roots, is absolutely appalling.

The Republican Party needs a face lift. But not this kind of a face lift!  The Conservative movement is known for its tolerance of a variety of opinions. Hell, I’m here, are I not?  The left not much known for this.

Let me give you an perfect example. I am member of the BlogAds advertising system.  When I was still blogging from a left of center position, on another blog, that I used to own.  I formally asked to join the “Liberal Ad Hive”. This was way back in 2006, by the way; I was denied. Why? Because I was not a supporter of the Homosexual lifestyle. The owner of the Ad Hive is gay. Also, it was because of my stance on Abortion, which was and still is, that it is flat out murder.  Forward ahead here to around December of 2007, when I requested to add Political Byline to the Conservative Hive; this was after I came to conclusion that I just did not fit in with the modern day “Democratic Party/Socialist/liberal” crowd. Anyhow, I kindly asked John Hawkings, if I could his Conservative Hive. Much to my astonishment, he said yes!

Where am I going with all this? Hold your Horses, I am getting to my point. 😀

The point here that I am trying to make is this. Conservatives are known for our tolerance. We should not change that at all. Did John Hawkings ask me of my Conservative beliefs consist of “Such and Such and Such and Such?” No. He just said, sure! You’re in! I was surprised by this, greatly.

Why? Because folks, I will be the first to tell you, that I am nowhere near “to the right” as say, Michelle Malkin or even the guys at “The Corner” (NRO’s Blog…) But, I am someone who just believes that Free Markets work and that Government intervention in everything under the sun is just not right! Further more, I believe that Homosexuality is, in fact, an abomination to God himself and that Marriage should always remain, between a man and a woman. I also believe that Abortion is murder, no matter how you slice it. I guess that was good enough for Mr. Hawkings.

So, having wrote at all, let me say this; again, to Mr. Henke. We should not, I repeat, should NOT start to employ the strong arm tactics of the socialist left. We need good spokespeople to articulate our positions. We do not need to start mimicking the far left and become intolerant. If we do, we will lose in the end. I assure you of that. Because individual freedom is the bedrock of Conservatism, we cannot afford to sacrifice that, at all.

Has John Henke lost his mind?

Um, Sorry, but this is just damned wrong….:

In the 1960’s, William F. Buckley denounced the John Birch Society leadership for being “so far removed from common sense” and later said “We cannot allow the emblem of irresponsibility to attach to the conservative banner.”

The Birthers are the Birchers of our time, and WorldNetDaily is their pamphlet. The Right has mostly ignored these embarrassing people and organizations, but some people and organizations inexplicably choose to support WND through advertising and email list rental or other collaboration. For instance, I have been told that F.I.R.E (The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education) – an otherwise respectable group that does important work – uses the WND email list. They should stop.

No respectable organization should support the kind of fringe idiocy that WND peddles. Those who do are not respectable.

I think it’s time to find out what conservative/libertarian organizations support WND through advertising, list rental or other commercial collaboration (email me if you know of any), and boycott any of those organizations that will not renounce any further support for WorldNetDaily.

via Organizing Against WorldNetDaily | The Next Right.

Proving to the world, that John Henke is not a true Conservative; but rather a Pseudo-Conservative. Why would I make a statement like that? Because it is damned true. What Henke wants to engage in here is nothing more than a form of  “Thought Police”; which is the same damned thing that the extreme liberal/socialist left likes to do.

Want an example? Sure. I will give you one.

Back during the election of 2008; about a week before the election itself. I crossed a line that I still regret it to this day. Becoming ever pissed off at the fact that the far socialist left just kept on trying to drag race into the electoral race; despite the fact that the socialist left’s “Golden Boy” did not want the Electoral challenge to be about; in fact, race.  I took two existing photos from the internet, joined them, and added a horribly offensive text to it and whipped up a “You want it, Mother Fuckers? Hear it is!” type of a blog posting and put the photograph up for all to see.

To say that many on the far liberal left were not amused, would be the understatement of the century. To be quite blunt, they were pissed!

Want to know something else? I paid for that little act of fool hardy nonsense as well. I used to carry ads from a advertising network called AdsDaq. It did not ever pay much, maybe $50.00 or so. But I was on there. It was new and I was trilled to carry their ads. This was before I was aware of their weak stomach for potentially offensive speech. Anyhow, I posted the offensive piece and some obscure blog; that I had never heard of, picked it up and before I knew what had hit me, I was a wanted man among the far left. I ended up on DailyKos and over came Mary Scott O’Conner and her band of tricksters; writing down every damn Advertiser I had.

The Advertisers and a few of their providers; like AdsDaq, began dropping like files in a Raid bug spray testing lab. The liberals won. They attacked my pocketbook. Which is what John Henke is wishing to do here.

My question dear readers is this; are we going to engage in the same damned type of political thuggery of the liberal socialist left; by attacking someone? Are we going to do this; all because WorldNetDaily’s political opinions or WorldNetDaily’s knack of writing fabulists type of stories are potentially embarrassing to someone else?

Despite the fact that I do not consider WorldNetDaily to be a trusted news source for anything at all, Despite the fact, that WorldNetDaily originally floated the whole Orly Tate story; I will still defend WorldNetDaily’s right to exist as a company and to publish whatever they damn well please. I believe in individual freedom and the right to free speech.

Further more, I feel that John Henke is way off base for wanting to start a boycott WND. If we cannot learn to tolerate our Conservative brethren on the far right; we are no better than those of the extreme left. The WorldNetDaily writers and their many readers are not hurting anyone at all. Besides, who cares if the Boston globe thinks that WorldNetDaily is crazy? They think all Conservatives are crazy. What is the difference? Hell, Sarah Palin is a damned embarrassment to the Conservative movement, I feel. But you do not see anyone boycotting her do you?

The truth about Buckley is this; While he did bring some sanity to the Conservative movement, The John Birch Society loathed the man, because of his association with the United Nations. Personally, I felt Buckley’s throwing McCarthy under the bus was rather asinine as well. Sure, McCarthy had his own personal issues. But were those issues worth walking McCarthy out on a damn tree limb and sawing the thing off? I hardly think so. Seeing the mess were now with this socialist President, perhaps McCarthy was not so crazy after all.

The Bottom Line is this: My issue is not with John Henke personally, it is with what he wants to accomplish; a sort of Political “Thought Police” by financial means. That my friends is a dangerous game and one that we on the right should not play, at all.

YES! Political experts see double digit losses for Democrats in 2010 elections!

This is such a good thing to hear…:

After an August recess marked by raucous town halls, troubling polling data and widespread anecdotal evidence of a volatile electorate, the small universe of political analysts who closely follow House races is predicting moderate to heavy Democratic losses in 2010.

Some of the most prominent and respected handicappers can now envision an election in which Democrats suffer double-digit losses in the House — not enough to provide the 40 seats necessary to return the GOP to power but enough to put them within striking distance.

Top political analyst Charlie Cook, in a special August 20 update to subscribers, wrote that “the situation this summer has slipped completely out of control for President Obama and congressional Democrats.”

“Many veteran congressional election watchers, including Democratic ones, report an eerie sense of déjà vu, with a consensus forming that the chances of Democratic losses going higher than 20 seats is just as good as the chances of Democratic losses going lower than 20 seats,” he wrote.

At the mid-August Netroots Nation convention, Nate Silver, a Democratic analyst whose uncannily accurate, stat-driven predictions have made his website FiveThirtyEight.com a must read among political junkies, predicted that Republicans will win between 20 and 50 seats next year. He further alarmed an audience of progressive activists by arguing that the GOP has between a 25 and 33 percent chance of winning back control of the House.

via Experts see double-digit Dem losses – Josh Kraushaar – POLITICO.com.

This reason why this is such a good thing is this; because of this, I believe that the Democrats will abandon the idea of Nationalized Healthcare. The reason why these numbers are so high is this; The Democrats, as I have written many times before, have overreached horribly after the 2008 election. They saw this economic crisis and the abject failure of the Bush Administration, as a chance to push through their progressive agenda. There was one thing, however, that the Democrats did not plan on; resistance. That would be the resistance from the 42% of Americans that voted for John McCain.

These number simply prove what I have believed all along. That not everyone in America is lockstep with the progressive wing of the Democratic Party; and their Identity Politics, Post Racial-Racialism, and the general Chicago style of politics that this Presidential Administration’s modus operandi.

For Republicans, this is their chance, put seeing their spokespersons are Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin. I do not expect much out of them; at least not in 2010.

Well, it is nice to know that the UAE has our backs… I think

Although, many people do not know this or do not want to hear it. But much of the financing for 9/11 came out of the UAE.

Anyhow, there’s this:

The United Arab Emirates has seized a ship carrying North Korean-manufactured munitions, detonators, explosives and rocket-propelled grenades bound for Iran in violation of United Nations sanctions, diplomats said.

The UAE two weeks ago notified the UN Security Council of the seizure, according to the diplomats, who spoke on condition they aren’t named because the communication hasn’t been made public. They said the ship, owned by an Australian subsidiary of a French company and sailing under a Bahamian flag, was carrying 10 containers of arms disguised as oil equipment.

The council committee that monitors enforcement of UN sanctions against North Korea wrote letters to Iran and the government in Pyongyang asking for explanations of the violation, and one to the UAE expressing appreciation for the cooperation, the envoys said. No response has been received and the UAE has unloaded the cargo, they said.

The UAE and Iranian missions to the UN didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. The Financial Times reported the weapons seizure earlier today.

via UAE Seizes North Korean Weapons Shipment to Iran (Update2) – Bloomberg.com.

This is what happens when you do the whole “Carrot and Stick” approach to countries like North Korea and Iran. They simply find ways to go around you.  I really believe that the United Nations really needs to rethink their strategy with Iran. Because it is obvious to this Conservative writer, that Iran has no intention of abiding by the rules.  I am not saying that it is time for war with Iran; not at all. At least not with our Country leading the charge. Because, in case anyone has not noticed, We are a bit occupied ourselves. I believe some of the other countries in that region need to step up and put a stop to this nonsense, once and for all.

Blackfive asks some very important questions:

Now this brings up all kinds of questions. How did the UAE find out? Did we know? Did we tell them? Inquiring minds want to know. Also how does this affect our global tyrant outreach project? Clenched? Unclenched? Hmmm

Those are some good questions. I would also like to know, who tipped off the Financial Times people? I also wonder, what will our feckless fearless leader’s next move will be? Because you know good and well that the Liberal base is not going to approve of him going into Iran or North Korea; even if Obama ordered a small support group to go in and assist any other countries that wanted to invade either Country, the base would totally turn on him. I mean, hell, the left is desperately wanting to pull us out of Afghanistan and Iraq; before the job is even done. They have been trying to do that for years. Do you think they would just sit idly by and allow President Obama to take us into another Military conflict? I do not think so. I mean, “Hope and Change” can only get a man so far.  Especially when it comes to the very far left. I mean, they’re already calling Obama a fascist in some quarters of the left as it is already.

Either way this is going to be a very interesting development and it will be interesting to see how Obama handles the situation and it will be interesting to see how the far socialist/liberal Left reacts to Obama’s actions.  I also would like to see what the Liberal Media’s reaction will be to this story and to how Obama reacts to it as well; will they be just as critical to Obama as they were Bush? or will they continue to give Obama the “free ride” that they have given him so far? It should be very interesting.

Jack Hunter makes a good point

At one point, I had written that I was not going to publish this man’s videos anymore; and I do not make a habit of it. His comment about our Military over on The American Conservative‘s Blog called “Post Right” was the end for me.

However, this video does make a good point and so, I will post it; with a comment at the end.

(Source)

I posted this, because I happen to agree with Jack’s stance on progressive policy on economics. But because I am “Fair and Balanced”, I will tell you, what others will not about the “Paleo-Conservative” or the “Taft” wing of the Republican Party as it is called by some. If it were left to these guys; such as Jack Hunter and his two hero-like personalities like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul —- America would have never went to war with Germany, at all. Hitler would have allowed to exterminate the Jews. Something that I am told Pat Buchanan has said that he wished happened, when he was around some friends once; which goes back to the old school catholic hatred of the Jews and their religion. Further more, most people of the Paleo-Conservative strand believe that Abraham Lincoln was a traitor. Not only to the White Man; but also to the South for the way he conducted the Civil War. Which Jack claims was not about race. (Wink Wink) But rather about Centralized Government.

So, while Jack might be correct about his thesis on the economic policy; his association with the bigoted “Old Right” is to be noted and for this, I feel, his credentials are marred.

Liberals Tan Andrew Breitbart’s Ass over his Twitter Stupidity

….and you know what? He deserves every god damned minute of it.

As I wrote on here last night my issues with Ted Kennedy were never personal, only of a political and policy nature.  My postings always reflected that; I never took shots at him personally. I simply called him out, when I felt he was being dishonest. Of course, I did it in my traditionally condescending manner. Hey, I am a Conservative Blogger; condescension and being a general asshole are expected. But, I never made it personal. I have towards others in the past and I have deeply regretted it.  This is why I follow a rule of conduct; attack the policy, not the person, mock gently, but know the line and never cross it.

Andrew Breitbart crossed it early Wednesday morning, when the news of Ted Kennedy’s passing hit. You can view and sampling of his rather idiotic and obnoxious nonsense by going Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, and Here. In fact, you can view this obnoxious idiot’s account by hovering over this link here.

Now some of you might be shocked and amazed that I would come out and condemn someone like Andrew for saying stuff like this. Well, allow me to explain as to why. I believe in freedom of speech; I really do. But, I also believe in responsibility of that freedom as well. Now, do I believe that the so-called “Thought Police” should scoop up Mr. BreitBart and send him off to a reeducation camp or something silly like that? Of course not.  As a libertarian-minded Conservative; I believe in a free market approach to freedom of speech. I believe in letting the free market decide if it wants to be associated with obnoxious speech. If Andrew Breitbart wants to speak his mind about Ted Kennedy; fine, let him do so. But if someone is offended by his speech, they have the absolute right to lodge a complaint to Mr. Breitbart’s advertisers and inform them, that they do not intend to purchase their products, if they continue to sponsor this man’s website.

I believe it would be also fair to point out, that Mr. Breitbart did not use his website to express his opinion of Kennedy. He used the social network Twitter. Which is a very public service, unless you elect to make your updates private. Something that no one hardly ever does. But then again, not many people go around acting foolish like this either.

Again, In closing, I believe that Mr. BreitBart has the right to say what he wishes. That is the core ideal of freedom; however, Mr. Breitbart should be prepared to handle the criticism and the consequences, including the loss of advertisers; for expressing his opinions.

Living proof that Socialist Democrat Liberals are crazy

Man, the crazies are in force today man! WOW! 😮

Both of these stories come via the Jawa Report, Which I happened to spot over at HotAir’s Headline Section.

The first comes via the Austin-American Statesman:

A Texas woman faces trial this month in Austin on charges she threatened to kill a government informant who infiltrated an Austin-based group that planned to bomb the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., last fall.

Katyanne Marie Kibby

Katyanne Marie Kibby

Katyanne Marie Kibby, 25, was indicted in June by a federal grand jury in Austin. She is accused of retaliating against Brandon Darby, the community activist-turned-informant who helped federal prosecutors win convictions against Bradley Neal Crowder, 24, and David Guy McKay, 23.

Prosecutors say the e-mail threat was made Jan. 10. That was two days after Crowder reached a plea bargain with federal prosecutors in Minneapolis for his role in the plot to build Molotov cocktails and attack the GOP convention in September 2008.

Crowder and McKay were part of a group of activists that had gone to the Twin Cities to take part in street demonstrations. The FBI had infiltrated the group with Darby. Crowder and McKay built eight of the gasoline firebombs but didn’t use them, a fact law enforcement officials credited to Darby.

Members of the Austin protest community heaped scorn on Darby, saying he had betrayed longtime friends and colleagues.

I wonder, can they charge her for being butt damn ugly, and just plain stupid?? Good Lord. 🙄

Not to be outdone, there’s this idiot here:

Via St. Louis Today.com: (H/T Gateway Pundit)

A federal search warrant obtained by the Post-Dispatch connects a former
Democratic campaign strategist to a Clayton bombing last year that seriously
injured an attorney.

Milton H. "Skip" Ohlsen III

Milton H. "Skip" Ohlsen III

About two months after the October bombing, federal law enforcement officials
searched the downtown loft of Milton H. “Skip” Ohlsen III, seeking “evidence
related to the planning, execution, and/or cover-up of the bombing in Clayton,
Missouri, on October 16, 2008.” Ohlsen in recent weeks has been at the center
of a swirling political scandal that is threatening the political careers of at
least two Missouri Democratic legislators.

The Clayton bombing injured attorney John L. Gillis of the Armstrong Teasdale
firm. But investigators now believe Gillis was not the intended target of the
bomb that exploded next to his car in the parking garage at 190 Carondelet
Plaza.

Instead, as the Post-Dispatch first reported Monday evening on STLtoday.com,
authorities suspect the bomb was intended for Richard J. Eisen, a former Husch
Blackwell Sanders attorney. Eisen has led legal battles against Ohlsen and had
an office in the Clayton building that was bombed.

Eisen, now an attorney at Growe, Eisen, Karlen, Eilerts & Ruth, LLC,
represented Ohlsen’s ex-wife, Michelle, in a divorce that was filed in December
2007. He also represented a Maryland Heights man who obtained a temporary
restraining order against Ohlsen.

Eisen and Gillis had similar cars — both owned an Acura TL — and they parked
one floor apart in the garage, near the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Eisen, a former president of the St. Louis County Bar Association, said Monday
that authorities had not told him that he was the intended target of the
bombing. “I can tell you that no member of any law enforcement agency has ever
indicated that to me,” he said.

The Clayton bombing has been one of the area’s most prominent unsolved cases.
Police had sought the public’s help by releasing a security video showing a man
carrying balloons and a package into the parking garage and later leaving
without them. He was hooded and wearing a bright poncho, and his face was
obscured by the balloons. They said they believed the bomb was in the package.

Ohlsen was arrested on federal fraud and firearms charges on Dec. 18, 2008, in
an unrelated case, according to federal court records.

FBI agents searched Ohlsen’s downtown loft twice after that, documents show. On
Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, they showed up looking for firearms, bullets and
financial documents. They returned on Dec. 22, seeking evidence relating to the
Clayton bombing, according to court documents obtained by the Post-Dispatch.

It is not unusual for investigators to obtain a new search warrant to cover
items spotted during a search but not covered by the original warrant, to
prevent a defense lawyer from challenging them in court.

Ohlsen’s attorney, Paul D’Agrosa, declined to comment on any connection between
his client and the bombing investigation.

Now, have you heard any of this in the mainstream liberal owned, operated and financed media? (MSNBC, CNN, NYT, Washington Post and ect…) No, and you will not either, least they tarnish that big image of the Democratic Party being the party of morals, justice and integrity.

Now before anyone tries to tell me that Republicans and Republican-related people have done the same stuff. Please, save your breath. I know that they have, and I have blogged about it on here before. Also, before anyone comes around waving a Timothy McVeigh sign. I give you this that proves that McVeigh was not only NOT a Christian, nor a Conservative, but rather an Militant Extremist, of who’s actions would never be considered Conservative in any sense of the word.

(Source)

INTRODUCTION

It appears that there are some out there who have asserted the claim that the Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVeigh was a Christian or at the least, a self-professed Christian.  This claim sadly enough, had been used in different arguments for varying ranges of issues.

For instance, Minister Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam (NOI) in a speech at a Chicago mosque referred to how the mass media did not state that terrorist Timothy McVeigh was a Christian.

Farrakhan is quoted by Cybercast News Service (CNS) as saying:

“Even though his crime was the most horrific committed up until that time, no one said Christian Timothy McVeigh, they just said Timothy McVeigh.”(SEE NOTE 1)

The writer of this article also recalls that right after September 11th, other Islamic leaders besides Farrakhan have made the same claim about McVeigh being a “Christian”.  Mike Tyson was an example of a prominent Muslim who also referred to McVeigh as a Christian after the 9/11 incident.

DAN BARKER ASSERTION IN PARTICULAR

Interestingly enough, Muslims were not the only one who has been saying this.  The atheist Dan Barker has been as well.  In a particular editorial in “Freethought Today”, that serves as the regular newspaper publication of Freedom From Religion Foundation (the organization Dan Barker belongs to), they had a piece titled “Christian Terrorism In Oklahoma City”. (See NOTE 2)

Dan Barker asks rhetorically:

Why is no one calling the Oklahoma City bombing suspects ‘Christian terrorists’?”(SEE NOTE 3)

The heart of the matter to Barker’s essay was the claim that McVeigh was in his understanding, a Christian. (SEE NOTE 4) It was to him, something that was obvious yet people tried to “see” God into the tragedy in a positive light instead:

Ignoring the obvious religious connections here, everyone seems eager to turn this tragedy into an opportunity to acknowledge a deity.”

He then takes the moment to attack Christianity and the concept of belief in God from the fulcrum that the Oklahoma City Bomber was a “Christian” even having the audacity to go on and blame Christianity for the bombing:

“Since Christianity has a history of bloody persecution, wouldn’t it make more sense for Freeh to identify religion as the culprit here?

Though Barker went tangent into other unrelated areas in his essay, we would be focusing this article more narrowly to the issue that is the fulcrum, the crux of his essay: Was Timothy Mc McVeigh a Christian?

NO WAY, MCVEIGH

How anyone could say McVeigh was a Christian is beyond this writer’s mind.  His action and deeds definitely does not reflect that of a virtuous believer.  Even more, there has not been any quotation of the Oklahoma City Bomber professing any Christian faith.  Barker does not quote a single reference to back his allegation.  On the contrary we see that there is documentation that he did not accept the Christian faith.

In an article by United Kingdom’s “The Guardian” about McVeigh’s execution, we find this reference:

In his letter, McVeigh said he was an agnostic but that he would “improvise, adapt and overcome”, if it turned out there was an afterlife. “If I’m going to hell,” he wrote, “I’m gonna have a lot of company.” His body is to be cremated and his ashes scattered in a secret location.”(SEE NOTE 5)

Note the above that McVeigh “said he was an agnostic” but not only that, but that he was defiant about hell itself and remain unrepentant.  Then we also find the same statement that he was an agnostic admitted by Lou Michel during a cyber interview with CNN.  Lou Michel spent hours interviewing McVeigh in writing a book titled, “American Terrorist: Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma City Bombing”.  Michel’s words are enlightening:

Lou Michel: McVeigh is agnostic. He doesn’t believe in God, but he won’t rule out the possibility. I asked him, ‘What if there is a heaven and hell?’

He said that once he crosses over the line from life to death, if there is something on the other side, he will — and this is using his military jargon – ‘adapt, improvise, and overcome.’ Death to him is all part of the adventure.”(SEE NOTE 6)

CONCLUSION

If McVeigh never admitted to being a Christian but rather stated that he was an agnostic, how did Dan Barker and others come to this false conclusion?  It appears that at least in Barker’s case, he desires to hijack this false assertion to take the opportunity to slander Christianity.  Whatever is the case, God would be the ultimate Judge and its this author’s prayer that Barker and others like him repent to knowing knowledge of Jesus as Lord and Savior.

So much for that argument. The fact is, that Socialist Liberals will stop at nothing to obtain their means. Including breaking the law.

“Behold, the days come, says the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water but a FAMINE for hearing the words of the Lord. And the people shall wander from sea to sea; they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, but shall not find it. By the life of your god (idolatrous golden calf) they shall fall and rise no more.” (Amos 7:11-14)

George Washington, the Father of our Country, required all Officers and Soldiers, not engaged on actual duty, a punctual attendance of Divine Services, to implore the blessings of Heaven upon the means used for our safety and defense. “The General hopes and trusts, that every officer and man, will endeavor so to live, and act, as becomes a “CHRISTIAN” Soldier, defending the dearest Rights and Liberties of his country.”

John Adams stated in his March 4, l797 Inaugural Address: “With humble reverence, I feel it to be my duty to add, if a veneration for the religion of a people who profess and call themselves “CHRISTIANS” among the best recommendations for the public service.” He also said: “The Declaration of Independence ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.” The primary author of this Document mentioned God’s name four times within the Declaration.

On January 21, 1810, John Adams said: “The “CHRISTIAN” Religion, as I understand it, is the brightest of the glory and the express portrait of the eternal, self-evident, independent, benevolent, all-powerful and all merciful Creator.”

It is often stated that Thomas Jefferson was a Deists, however on April 21, 1803 he wrote the following: “My views are the result of a life of inquiry and reflection, and very different from the ANTI-CHRISTIAN system imputed to me by those who know nothing of my opinion. To the corruptions of Christianity, I am indeed opposed, but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus Himself, I am a “CHRISTIAN” in the only sense in which He wished any one to be – sincerely attached to His doctrines in preference to all others.” Jefferson, along with the majority of America’s founders knew that freedom was the gift of God, not the accomplishment of men.

James Madison (our 4th President) called for a National Day of Prayer: “If the public homage of a people can ever be worthy of the favorable regard of the Holy and Omniscient Being to whom it is addressed, it must be guided only by their free choice. By the impulse of their hearts and the dictates of their consciences; and such a spectacle must be interesting to all “CHRISTIAN” nations as proving that religion, that gift from Heaven for the good of man…”

John Quincy Adams wrote in his diary in 1810: “I have made it a practice for several years to read the Bible through in a course of every year.” December 24, 1814 after negotiating the TREATY OF GHENT he stated: “You ask me what Bible? I answer, the Bible containing the Sermon on the Mount – any Bible. The New Testament I have repeatedly read in the original Greek, in the Latin, in the Geneva Protestant, in Sacy’s Catholic French, in Luthur’s German, in the common English Protestant and in Douay Catholic translations. I take any one of them for my standard of faith. My hopes of a future life are all founded upon the Gospel of “CHRIST.”

Andrew Jackson wrote his wife Rachel: “I trust that the God of Isaac and of Jacob will protect you and give you health in my absence…” Jackson apparently knew that there were some people that worshipped foreign gods, and wanted to make the point he worshipped the God of the Holy Bible. In referring to God, our early politicians used other descriptive terms, such as: “The unerring hand of Providence” – “All-merciful Creator” – “Supreme Author of All Good” – “Supreme Ruler of the Universe”.

Apparently President Barack Obama has not studied American History, because he recently said while in Turkey: “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.” “We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.” Whether Obama understands the early writings of those great men who founded this nation, or not, perhaps he is correct, because America has become a “post” Christian nation. Once was – not now! Liberalism and political correctness have successfully dismantled our Christian heritage. Our moral and spiritual foundation is practically gone. America no longer acknowledges the one true God of the Bible, the God of Isaac and Jacob.

Students at Bradley University found an anti-abortion display featuring a cross to be offensive to non-Christians, and it was removed. — Small towns around the nation that once said prayers in the name of Jesus before holding city council meetings have abandoned the practice. — A flyer promoting a YMCA basket ball camp in Bakersfield, California was not allowed to be distributed in public schools because the text mentioned Christian principles. — The owners of an A & W Root Beer restaurant in Colorado were ordered to remove the Bible Scriptures from the sign in front of the store because the phrases offended some of the customers. — Schools all across the land are changing to an all secular holiday calendar. — The Christmas holiday has now been changed to “Winter Break.” — A man on death row for murder and rape wants his conviction thrown out because some of the jurors cited Bible verses during their deliberation. — The City Attorney in Sparks, Nevada took the words “God Bless America” out of the signs around city hall. — Three plaques quoting Biblical Scriptures posted at lookout points at the Grand Canyon have been removed, following complaints from the ACLU. — The National Park Service was forced to put a tarp over the 70 year old land mark cross at the Mojave Desert. — A Bible enclosed in glass that sat in front of the Harris County Court House in Houston, Texas for 47 years was removed because it was offensive. — Staffers of the Governor of Michigan removed the phrase “of the year of our Lord” because it was deemed insensitive to non-Christians. — A district court judge in North Carolina said religious references including the oath that ends “SO HELP ME GOD” must be removed because not all court cases are for Christians. — Officials in Stanislaus County, California removed a 40 year old memorial because the monument included a cross that might infringe on rules of the “Separation of Church and State.” If you read the Constitution from cover to cover you will find no mention of the “Separation of Church and State.” Those remarks were in a letter written by President Thomas Jefferson, responding to a letter sent him by a Baptist Association concerned that the Government was going to interfere with the free and open practice of the Christian religion. Jefferson wrote the letter to assure them that would not happen – that the government cannot do such a thing. Today that phrase is being interpreted to mean the exact opposite of its original intent.

Today our Universities, Hollywood, liberal politicians and homosexuals in the nation’s Capital are hostile to the Holy Bible. The Book cannot appear on a desk in a government office, nor can it be studied in our nation’s public schools. Every effort is being made to eradicate any public reference to the Bible, or the name of Jesus. To even mention the name of Jesus or quote Biblical scriptures in public is considered insensitive. This conspiracy is being promoted under the lie that it was the original intent of the founding fathers and the framers of the Constitution.

God once blessed America – from it’s founding for over 150 years. Since the early 1960’s God, Jesus and the Holy Bible have been kicked out of our government, our courts and our schools. When public school children can no longer sing God Bless America, how can God bless America?

Is there a possibility that God has already begun to withdraw His protection from the United States? God tells us in Deuteronomy 28:45, that curses shall come upon us until we are destroyed, because we did not hearken unto His voice and keep His statutes which he commanded. He tells us in very uncertain terms how we as a nation will be overcome. (1) The stranger shall rise above us and we shall come down very low. The stranger shall lend to us and we will not lend to the stranger. The stranger shall be the head and we shall be the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:43-44) (2) The Lord shall bring a nation against us from far; a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young, which also shall leave us no corn, wine or oil. (Deuteronomy 28:49-51) (3) If you shall despise my statutes and abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, I will appoint TERROR over you, and your enemies that hate you shall reign over you. (Leviticus 26:11) (4) I shall break the pride of your power and your strength shall be spent in vain. (Leviticus 26:19-20)

As our nation’s sins have become many, so are God’s judgments many. These are just a few that I can see taking place as each day goes by. These judgments didn’t start coming upon us prior to the Supreme Court’s deciding that the God of Isaac and Jacob was no longer welcome in America. Will God reconsider and return to us our once free nation? YES! But only if we totally submit ourselves to Him, impeach the Supreme Court judges that voted Him out of our lives, rescind their decisions and put the Bible back in our schools, courts and lives of our politicians, administrators, judges, teachers and the general public. I don’t believe it is going to happen!

Tea Party Protest in Birmingham, Michigan

Seems that there was a Tea Party Protest in Birmingham, Michigan.

MoonBattery has the pictures and the story.

Of Course, the liberals are already dismissing it as “Rich White Racists.” However anyone with a half of a brain knows that these protests are not about skin color at all. It is about the Government wanting to run Healthcare and ruin our Country.

The Birthers Love Palin

Good Lord. 🙄

-The birthers love them some Sarah Palin. She’s the most popular politician in the mix with them at 66% favorability. Next is Mike Huckabee at 58%, followed by Newt Gingrich at 46%, and Mitt Romney at 43%.

I mean this with all sincerity- Romney’s lack of popularity with the birther wing of the GOP really could scuttle his chances at the nomination in three years.

Looking at the numbers from another angle- 63% of all Americans with a favorable opinion of Sarah Palin are birthers. Same thing with 53% of those who like Gingrich, 50% who view Huckabee positively, and 44% for Romney.

Remember when W. said ‘some people call you the elites, I call you my base?’ Swap out birthers for elites and you’ve got the makings of a great Palin speech.

via Public Policy Polling: Who do the birthers love?.

My prediction? We’re gonna be screwed come 2012. Especially if the G.O.P. picks HER. I mean, I’m not a Romney fan; and I think he’s bad for the G.O.P. But Palin is worse; much worse.

Americans for Limited Government to MSNBC: Fire Brewer, Ratigan, Toure

Wow! 😮 Looks like MSNBC has invoked the rage of a major Conservative group…

This a follow up to the posting I made late last night about MSNBC wanting to start a race war; by showing carefully edited footage of a man, who was black, carrying an assault rifle and then implying that the man was white.

The politico is now reporting that MSNBC is trying to walk that little cat backward:

But by raising the racial issue in this context, bloggers claimed that MSNBC was purposely misleading viewers by not showing that at least one African-American man has also carried a gun to an event.

An MSNBC spokesperson responded to POLITICO: “Contessa was speaking generally and not about that specific person with the automatic weapon.

Yeah, sure she was. Lying asshole. 🙄

The Americans for Limited Government is not buying it at all. They are calling for the firing of ALL involved:

Mr. Steve Capus

NBC News

30 Rockefeller Plaza

New York, N.Y. 10112

Dear Mr. Capus:

On Tuesday, August 18, at 10:45 AM, your network — with a blatantly racist broadcast — took the falsification of the news to a dangerous new low. I am writing to you today on behalf of the 400,000 members of Americans for Limited Government nationwide to ask that all involved in this nefarious assault on decency be immediately fired from their jobs.

I am referring, of course, to the MSNBC “news” cast on that morning in which your anchors hysterically raised the specter of impending racial violence — while carefully cropping the very video upon which they based their duplicitous charges. Leading audiences nationwide to believe that militant whites were mounting violence against a black President, they deliberately covered up the fact that the individual they were framing was himself African-American.

I could go on with a graphic description of the horrendous misrepresentation foisted on the American people by your anchors and those who worked with them on your distorted reportage, but by now, I am sure that you are well aware of the despicable fraud they perpetrated. Even if you, like most Americans, were not watching MSNBC at the time, you undoubtedly have been apprised of the transgression by now.

Therefore, I will not waste your time or mine regurgitating the facts of the blatant abuse of the public trust. Instead, let me simply get to the vital thrust of this letter:

On behalf of the nearly half million members of Americans for Limited Government — and tens of millions of other equally appalled Americans of all races nationwide — I hereby demand the immediate termination of Contessa Brewer, Toure, Dylan Ratigan and any and all others involved in any way with the fraudulent “news” that ran in the 10:45AM segment of your August 18 broadcast.

You network has besmirched the dignity and honor of American people. You have endangered the life of the President of the United States. You have purposely fanned racial tensions. And you have deliberately lied to your own audience.

Failure on your part to act will be proof positive that you, your corporation and the corporation that owns you intended this deception. As such, you can no longer claim to be “press” in any sense of the word but will have crossed the line, becoming a political advocacy organization. That, then, becomes a matter for the FCC and the courts to consider the proper punishment for this gross transgression of the rules of a civil society.

Thank you.

William Wilson

President

Will this result in any sort of action? Probably not. But if we sit idly by and allow these people to do this, we will committing the highest form of treason ever.  The media serves the people and not corporate interests and we must hold them them accountable. Let’s turn the tables a bit, had this been former President Bush and this man been a liberal carrying a gun and Fox News had done this, the outrage would be deafening.  But yet, when a liberal owned, operated and funded network does it; it is fine. Can you say double standard?

We must hold them accountable and force them, one way or another to admit this lapse in judgment. So, As I wrote last night, burn the damn phones up!

Deadly Day in Iraq: 95 killed in attacks in Baghdad

It’s been a deadly day in Iraq….

First the Video:

Via NYT:

BAGHDAD — Insurgents struck at the heart of the Iraqi government on Wednesday in huge and coordinated bombings that exposed a new vulnerability after Americans ceded control for security here on June 30. Nearby American soldiers stood by helplessly — despite the needs of hundreds of wounded — waiting for a request for help from Iraqi officials that apparently never came.

A wave of bombings targeted symbols of government, the Foreign and Finance Ministries in central Baghdad, lending an air of siege to the capital. Dozens were killed and hundreds were wounded in the apparently coordinated attacks.

A wave of bombings targeted symbols of government, the Foreign and Finance Ministries in central Baghdad, lending an air of siege to the capital. Dozens were killed and hundreds were wounded in the apparently coordinated attacks.

“As much as we want to come, we have to wait to be asked now,” said an American officer who arrived at one blast site almost three hours later and who spoke in return for anonymity because he was not authorized to brief reporters. At one blast site, American soldiers snapped pictures of the devastation before ducking out of the streets.

After weeks of escalating violence in Iraq, powerful truck bombs killed at least 95 people and wounded nearly 600 people at the Foreign and Finance Ministries in central Baghdad, assaults on symbols of government that lent an air of siege to the capital. The bombs crippled the downtown area, closed highways and two main bridges over the Tigris River and clogged hospitals with wounded.

The bombings, the worst since American forces handed over security responsibilities to Iraq at the end of June, shook the Iraqi government’s confidence that it was ready and able to secure the nation.

Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki called for a reassessment of his security measures, calling the attacks “a vengeful response” to his recent, optimistic order to remove blast walls from the streets of Baghdad.

A Defense Ministry spokesman, Maj. Gen. Mohammed al-Askari, was quoted by Reuters as telling American and Iraqi military officers: “We must face the facts. We must admit our mistakes, just as we celebrate our victories.”

And Baghdad’s security spokesman, Maj. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi, told Iraqiya state television, according to Reuters, that attacks were “a security breach for which Iraqi forces must take most of the blame.”

The explosions, one close to the heavily fortified Green Zone and the other less than three miles away, sent plumes of smoke billowing over the capital, ripped a gaping hole in a compound wall and set cars ablaze, trapping drivers inside.

“The whole thing is just so disgusting,” the United States ambassador, Christopher R. Hill, said as he read reports from his staff about the extent of the damage while on an official visit to the northern city of Kirkuk. “They’re just psychopathic.”

Around 11 a.m., the two truck bombs struck the Foreign Ministry and the Finance Ministry within three minutes, officials said, sending white smoke into the sky. The second, more powerful blast was so intense that parts of a main highway near the Finance Ministry collapsed, the rubble littered with shrapnel and splotches of blood. It shattered windows inside the nearby Green Zone and shook houses in many parts of the city. At least 60 people were killed at the Foreign Ministry and at least 35 at the Finance Ministry.

At roughly the same time, attacks in other parts of the city, including three roadside bombs and some mortar and rocket fire, left 13 people wounded, Iraqi officials said.

Of course, the Liberal New York Times had to make sure that this quote was in there; Seeing they are the Anti-Military Paper that they are:

Though no one took credit for the attacks, Iraqis doled out blame both to their government, now fully responsible for security, and to the United States for coming to Iraq in the first place.

“This country is finished,” said one resident, Jamil Jaber, 45, whose five-room home behind the Foreign Ministry had been flattened, crushing a 4-month-old infant. “It’s just robbery and killing.” He cursed the United States and former President George W. Bush.

Oh, Of course, It is Bush’s fault because some idiot rag-head terrorist sets off a fucking bomb in the city of Baghdad.  What a fucking ingrate! we should have just nuked that fucking Country into the damned stone age, instead of sending 4000+ of our troops into the Country to basically die; and for what? So some asshole Iraqi can blame us for their problems? What an asshole! That is if it is not a fake quote, which would not surprise me at all.

Here’s the deal folks; War is fucking hell, shit happens, people die. Get used to it! Saddam’s not in power anymore, and the people there are free. That idiot Iraqi sounds like most African-American Liberals; they want to blame someone else, namely White People, for their own damn problems. I suppose some Liberal might try and say that this is happening because we are in that Country in the first place.  That is bullshit and most liberals know it.; We have all but left the damn country and the Iraqi Government is now running the show. Hence the Government taking forever to get on the scene.

One other thing I notice is, that most other Bloggers, Conservative and liberal are just not talking about this anymore. I think it is because of the healthcare debate; most people just are not thinking about Iraq. I am not one of these and I hope like hell, that President Obama does not pull us out, before the mission is over. We, as a Nation, cannot afford to make the mistake that we made in Vietnam. We made it before and had a black mark on us for years. We cannot do it again, it will be our shame, if we do.

Countdown to screechy liberals screaming at Obama for us to leave in 5…..4…..3….2…

Conservative Icon Journalist Robert Novak has died

A truly sad day in Conservatism. Conservative Icon and award winning Journalist Robert Novak has died.

I really do not think that my mere words could ever measure up to those who have already paid tribute to him.

Tim Carney Pays tribute:

Bob Novak hired me away from HUMAN EVENTS in late 2001. “Poaching,” HE Editor-in-Chief Tom Winter called it. I was not the first early-20s reporter Novak would pluck from HE’s newsroom. Nor would I be the last.

Work for us Novak reporters, in addition to writing the Evans-Novak Political Report, consisted of doing “the opposite of research,” as I put it. Rather than trying to find an answer to a question Novak had — he had another staffer for that — we would try to dig up scoops, leads, and unreported nuggets to feed him.

That Novak would hire a leg-man to go around Washington sniffing out news reflected the virtue at the heart of his work: His columns, while they resided on the op-ed pages, were built upon previously unreported facts that revealed and explained the machinations of government, the men and women in power, and the politics behind it all. His job demanded he get a constant flow of new information, but curiosity and a thirst for knowledge were natural traits for him.

Bob Novak was, above all, a reporter.

I suggest that you read all of that tribute; as I feel that it is excellent.

CNN did a nice tribute as well:

Kenneth Tomlinson writes:

How many reporters, when George W. Bush named Paul O’Neill as his Treasury secretary, knew that he had been a pal of young government staffer Dick Cheney and that it was O’Neill who was the reason Gerald Ford’s vision as he opened his presidential campaign was “essentially that of a Washington bureaucrat.”? Of course Novak wrote the column. But did Bush (and Rove) ever come to see that Novak was right?

In recent years, some of Novak’s most significant work was done in association with Tom Phillips, who had begun publishing the bi-weekly Evans-Novak Political Report in1971 at Phillips Publishing and then had moved the newsletter to Eagle Publishing after he founded Eagle in 1993. Under the umbrella of the Phillips Foundation, Phillips and Novak developed the nation’s largest journalistic grant program for young writers — offering five-figure stipends to finance research and development of significant conservative books and articles that otherwise would not have been produced.

Not a Saturday night passes that I do not miss “Capital Gang.” Spring is not the same without the ACC tournament. I cannot pick up the Saturday New York Post or the Monday Washington Post without a sense of regret that the column is not there.

There was one thing about Novak that I admired greatly; and that is that he was skeptical of the Washington D.C. crowd. Something that I found myself to be quite a bit. He also was highly critical of the Bush Administration and much of its action that lead up to the Iraq War and afterwards. Novak did not carry water for the Republican Party; something that I highly admired about him.

You can read the roundup of opinions and memorials here at Memeorandum. Of course, there are some opportunistic liberals who are taking pot shots at the man at his passing. I find this to be totally offensive, and I told one so on a liberal rag blog that no one reads. I will not link to it; that would be sacrilegious. On the other hand, one of the bigger Liberal Blogs out there; which is ran by some marbled-mouthed ex-Republican, who knowingly married a gay man;  had surprisingly nice things to say about Mr. Novak.  Shocking indeed.

My deepest condolences to the Novak Family and most of all his many Children.

May Bob Rest in peace, as he has earned it.

Video: Ed Driscoll Interviews Chris Muir Creator of Day by Day

As some of you might know. I carry Chris Muir’s online Blog Cartoon called Day by Day. Ed Driscoll interviewed Chris on his show called Silicon Graffiti.

Here’s the Video:

On a personal note; I have been reading Chris Muir’s online comic, since I started blogging in December of 2006; as a left of center Blogger. I thought it was great then and still do. I recommend all Conservatives and liberals with a sense of humor, to read and possibly embed on your blog, Chris’s comic.

Good Job Chris! Keep up the good work! 😀
