Heh: Sarah Palin does Conan O’Brian’s show, Schools Shatner

I will be very honest with you; I really do not care for Sarah Palin. That is because I believe personally that she embodies the rather idiotic lukewarm evangelical Christianity nonsense that I fled back in 2004, when I left the Pentecostal sect of Christianity, in favor of more traditional or some would say actual real Christianity.  However, I will be brutally honest with you; she totally owned this little piece right here. However, I will say that the fan boy comments over at HotAir.com were a bit much — Having said that, she did very well here in this video. Some people forget, she did have experience as a Sportscaster at a TV Station in Alaska. Therefore, she is no stranger to Teleprompters and she is actually good at it.

Again, I must hand it to the gal — She did really well here.

Here is the video: (Thanks to R.S. McCain)

Healthcare-Gate Continues

I call it Healthcare-Gate because that it is about this whole debacle has become, a rather ridiculous spectacle which is going to cause a great deal of damage to the Democratic Party. First, there was word that the “public option” was being dropped, but now there is word that rumor was untrue. Therefore, at this point, it is anyone’s guess as to what is going to happen. The main point is that the majority of Americans do not want this idiotic so-called reform being foisted upon them and they are getting anyway. The sad truth is that this so-called reform bill is going to mean higher taxes for everyone and not just the so-called “Rich,” what that means anymore is anyone’s guess. The Democrats will get their bill and they will pay for it when the 2010 and 2012 elections come around. Hopefully, the Republicans will work to unwind the damage done by the Socialists who want to destroy out free market capitalist system.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney lays the smackdown on President Obama

Ouch. The demeaning gets worse and worse and from both sides.

Quotable Quote: (H/T Gateway Pundit)

Sean Hannity: You said about Barack Obama that he is projecting weakness to America’s enemies. Expand on that.

Dick Cheney: Well, I think most of us believe and most presidents believe and talk about the truly exceptional nature of America. Our history, where we come from, our belief in our Constitutional values and principles. Our advocacy for freedom and democracy and the fact that we’ve provided it for millions of people all over the globe and so unselfishly. There’s never been a nation like the United States of America in world history. And, yet when you have a president that goes around and bows to his host and proceeds to apologize profusely for the United States, I find that deeply disturbing. That says to me there’s a guy who doesn’t fully understand or share that view of American exceptionalism that I think most of us believe in.

Now there are those that would say, “Who cares what Dick Cheney thinks?” It would be help to point out, that the only people that would say this, would be the Liberal Left or the Anti-Semite and Racist Paleo-Conservatives, who are in bed with the left. Having said all that; It does say quite a bit, when a former V.P. or President say something like that about a President. Now I fully expect for one of the African-American Congressmen, who are essentially President Obama’s attack dogs, to go after Dick Cheney and call him a racist. Which is about normal for those types.

May we never forget: Pearl Harbor – December 7, 1941

December 7, 1941 – 68 Years ago today. The empire of Japan attacked the United States Military Base at what was then called the the Territory of Hawaii. (The United States had not taken possession of that territory making it the 49’th state yet.)

It is a day, that will live…. In infamy…

Update: Video removed, because the ignorant bastard who owns it, can’t remember telling me that I could link to it.

Damned idiot.

Here is the entire “Day of infamy Speech”, Now this is a way to make a speech! Obama, Take notes!:

[podcast]http://www.radiochemistry.org/history/video/fdr_infamy.mp3[/podcast]

I do not know quite why it is that I get so emotional when the anniversary of the attack of Pearl Harbor comes around; but do I ever. I guess it is because it affected my personal family a great deal. My grandfather’s two brothers, Frank and Harlan Hayes both were in the United States Army and my grandmother’s stepbrother Jess Runyan served also in the Military in World War II. My Great-Uncle Frank and Harlan both served in Germany, with Frank getting his finger blown off, while tossing a hand grenade that went off too soon. They were able to reattach it, but he never was able to use the finger very well after that. I do not know much about Harlen, or I would share his story. Jess Runyan came back from World War II with the condition now known as traumatic stress disorder or as they used to call it — shell-shocked. Jess was never able to work and collected military benefits, and I think social security for the rest of his life. Jess never married. For what it is worth, all of these people lived in Dalton, Georgia, which is where a good amount of my family is from.

Another reason is because, damn it, I just love America; since when did that become a federal crime? This Nation is the best-damned Nation on earth. Yes, we are having some bad times here; the economy is bad, jobs are scarce. However, the status of this Nation could be much worse; we could be living in same situation as North Korea or even communist China. I guess Pearl Harbor is a personal one for me, because I happen to be a history buff and because of my family’s involvement in that war. I believe also that the Nation’s isolationism also caused the attack as well, not to mention the economic warfare that was being committed against Japan by FDR. This same mentality of isolationism is what had affected the United States the day that the September 11 attacks in 2001. We were different Nation then and we are now a different Nation since those attacks. The tragic thing about the 9/11 attacks, is that they became quite politicized. When the attack on Pear Harbor took place and then the subsequent war began; America stopped being Democrats and Republicans; and just started being Americans. The sad thing is that after 9/11, there was a short burst of American patriotism. However, it did not last; there are many reasons for this, I believe the biggest reason is times have changed greatly. I could get into all that, but this blog entry would end up being over 50 pages long.

I think the biggest and best thing that Americans can do for those who perished in World War II is to never forget what happened and to work to ensure that it never happens again. We must ensure that the politics of our Nation or any other Nation gets that sort of ugly point again. This is why I believe that wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are worth every last dime and worth every life lost. There are those that say that fighting that war in Afghanistan is not worth it and that it is another Vietnam. I disagree with that nonsense. ANY War that is worth fighting is worth winning. I just wish those on the Socialist Left realized that as well. There was a time, when Democrats actually believed in fighting wars. This all changed in the late 1960’s with the rise of the socialist and hippy movements. Vietnam was essentially lost because of the socialists that had taken over the Media at the time. Walter Cronkite’s literal lying to the Nation about the Tet Offensive was a perfect example of that. Thankfully, there were Democrats who crossed over, for whatever reasoning, who still believed in defending this Nation and believed the Wars could be won, and because of that, and because of President’s like Ronald Reagan; we have the great Military we have today. It is my personal hope, that President Barack Obama will continue that respect for our Nation’s Military. Although, as of late President Obama’s performance as a leader, when it comes to the war in Afghanistan has been dismal at best.

Therefore, in conclusion, I simply end with this — May we never forget December 7, 1941. Because to do so, would be a horrible tragedy.

A very funny one by Sarah Palin

As you all know; I do not much care for Sarah Palin at all. For very obvious reasons. However, I found this little crack here to be absolutely hilarious!

Staying with the book theme, she joked that “If the election had turned out differently, I could be the one overseeing the signing of bailout checks, and Vice President Biden could be on the road selling his book, “Going Rogaine.”

via Palin cracks wise at Gridiron dinner – – POLITICO.com.

HEH! Now that is funny. 😆

Sarah Palin might not be much of national politician, but she does have a good sense of humor. 😛

Charles Johnson writes something that I actually agree with

I am writing this, because I believe that Mr. Johnson makes a very valid point here. Before I begin, let me say that the feud between Mr. Johnson and Robert Spencer and the rest of them has zero to do with me. I do not wish to take sides. I see Johnson’s point and I see Spencer and his friends point.

Having said all of that I do agree with Mr. Johnson on this point here;  This is Charles Johnson reacting to the video that Sarah Palin made for the Billy Graham Ministry group:

Sarah Palin’s extreme religious beliefs are on display in this video released by the Billy Graham organization, in which she repeats the long-debunked fundamentalist canard that the founding fathers “dedicated the country to God,” and calls for America to be ruled by “godly” leaders.

And of course, she’s not talking about Judaism or Buddhism here. She’s advocating a religious test for office, and only Christians need apply. Has she ever heard of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the US Constitution?

This is why Palin was selected by the John McCain campaign in the 2008 election — to mollify the religious right.

via Little Green Footballs – Palin Calls for America to ‘Seek God’s Hand’.

I must say that I agree with that. I have long been bothered by the extreme religious right and their attempt to turn America into what England was back in the days of the monarchy, which was a theocracy. You see back in those days in England, if you did not submit to the religious rule of the Roman Catholic Church, and you chose to dissent, you were thrown in jail or worse — Killed. This is what the Roman Catholic Church wants again here in America, along with, mostly unwittingly, the evangelical right, hence the ecumenical movement.

What is my opinion of the Roman Catholic Church? I will answer that, anyone who has ever read The Book of Revelation; Chapters 17 & 18 (King James Version is the best for this reading) knows exactly my opinion of that god-forsaken false religion cesspool.

Now back to Johnson, He and I dislike Sarah Palin for some somewhat different reasons. Johnson hates her religion; I highly dislike her sense of female entitlement, her muddled populism, her blatant hypocrisy, her so-called “Conservative Feminism,” —- all of that just grinds me to my core. Because it goes against what I feel is true Conservatism. Anyone that has read books by Phyllis Schlafly knows of what I speak. Phyllis Schlafly is, what Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin claim to be; and that is a staunch Conservative Christian woman. Anyone that thinks that Sarah Palin is entitled to anything other than going back to Alaska and raising her many children, and for the sake of almighty God shutting her damn pie-hole and disappearing from the political scene —- sorry to say it, is not, what I consider to be a true Conservative.

Chris Matthews discusses Palin’s Birther comments

I saw this over at Hot Air and I thought I would post it here. Chris Matthews sits with Patrick Buchanan and discusses Palin’s rather idiotic Birther comments that she gave during an interview; and her rather lame ass attempt to walk the cat backward. I am sorry to say this, but Allah Pundit was much too kind to this people.  These deserve no more attention or credit, than those of the Alex Jones mentality, which is what they are, tin foil hat wearing idiots. I also disagree with the later portion of the video, which I did not include, where Pat Buchanan says that it is smart politics to disagree with them and want their support. I would no more want their support, than I would want a Nazi skinhead’s support. Which is in the same league, I believe myself.

My biggest issue with these damned birther nuts is the fact that they have no verifiable proof of their claims. The only so-called proof that they have for this stupid claim is just some anonymous idiot, who claims to be forensic expert that says the Certificate of live birth, is a fake; who by the way is promoted by a shrieking harpy, who nothing more than a foaming at the mouth rabid Zionist. A Zionist who has been exposed a fraud and even asked Larry Sinclair to lie under oath in court. No, I am not talking about Pamela Geller. I am referring to Orly Taitz. Pamela is a nice woman, little on the screechy side for my liking, but that is why God invented earplugs and volume controls.

The fact remains is this; Palin should not have gone there and she did. If she tries to run for office, whoever runs against here will use this against her.

Ron Paul on Auditing the Federal Reserve

I post this because I happen to agree with Ron Paul position on economics; as well as Lew Rockwell’s. Around the end of the video clip, Ron Paul gets on the subject of Afghanistan and he proceeds to promote the idea of isolationism — which I think is remarkably stupid. However, I should point out, that it is the classic position of the Libertarian Party.

The funny crack comes at the 1:15 mark.

This clip proves my belief that the libertarian left is in bed with the socialist liberal left; this is something that I have believed for a long time.

Enjoy.

A RINO defends a RINO

So, what you do you get when a so-called Republican; who enacted state run healthcare that just about bankrupted that state, defends a Bible-clutching Democrat, who claims to be a Republican?

This:

The truth is, Matt Romney is wrong, as always. Mike Huckabee screwed up and now wants to blame the State, instead of taking responsibility for his very stupid actions. Not to mention the fact that when someone raised objections about this pardon. He laughed in their faces. Huckabee is politically toasted and no amount of political posturing by the Republican establishment is going to change that, at all.

Sarah Palin has lost it and her chances of being elected

Just when you think, that Sarah Palin could not get any lower on the level of stupidity. Something like this comes along. I know many people are wondering why that I wrote the entry earlier about the far right and me; it is stuff like this here.

The Video:

The Transcript:

Humphries: Sarah Palin here on the Rusty Humphries Show. One of the questions Jason asks is would you make the birth certificate an issue if you ran?

Palin: I think the public rightly is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bothered to make it an issue because I think there are enough members of the electorate that still want answers.

Humphries: Do you think it’s a fair question to be looking at?

Palin: I think it’s a fair question just like I think past associations and past voting records. All of that is fair game. You know, I’ve got to tell you too, I think our campaign, the McCain-Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area. We didn’t call out Obama and some of his associates on their records and what their beliefs were, and perhaps what their future plans were, and I don’t think that was fair to voters to not have done our job as candidates and a campaign to bring to light a lot of things that now we’re seeing manifest in the administration.

Sarah Palin’s God-awful grasp of the English Language aside, the woman has veered into territory that even I do not care to defend anymore. I am glad to see that I am not the only one that feels the way. It appears that even Theocratic Blogs like this one agree with me:

The most charitable possible reading of this interview is that Palin is saying “turn about is fair play” and if irrational questions are going to be asked about the birth of her baby, then she will ask irrational questions about the birth the president.

First, President Obama did not ask those questions and so it would not similar for the Republican nominee to ask “birther” questions of him.

Second, for a Christian two wrongs not only don’t make a right, but actually are just more wrong. There is the whole issue of, well, the Golden Rule as well.

Third, asking whether Obama is born in the United States is not a “fair question,” because there is no credible evidence he was not born in the United States. You cannot ask a fair question when your questions is based only on a desire to do damage equal to that done to you by another.

The conservative movement must reject a populism that amounts to mob rule. Our founding fathers believed in reason and hated demagoguery. The notion that it there is any fair way to questions the President’s place of birth is beyond the pale.

Birtherism is insanity and if embraced by our nominee destroy the party of Lincoln, McKinley, Roosevelt, Coolidge, and Reagan.

Palin should clarify this quote quickly, repudiate birtherism, and birtherism as a tactic, or I predict she will be finished as a serious presidential candidate. And she should be.

I agree with the above wholeheartedly. The only people that still believe that Obama is not a citizens are people like Oraly Taitz; who is, by the way, a rabid Zionist and a person who hates anything remotely Arabic; not to mention an conspiracy theorist. This was proven when MSNBC tried to send a driver for her interview with that network and she told the driver to leave, because he had an Arab sounding name.

If Sarah Palin wants to go this road, she is finished with the Republican Party, because that party has no patience for this sort of idiotic nonsense. President Barack Obama is many things, but he is not a terrorist, nor is he an illegal alien. Anyone who still believes this is a damn fool. I think Sarah Palin needs to either issue an apology or leave the political scene for good. If she does not, she will not be even remotely considered a contender for the 2012 election, which, as for as I concerned would be a very good thing. We just do not need a theocratic candidate in the White House at all.

Update: Hmmmmmmm…..

HuckPAC Loses it’s Arkansas coordinator

I sort of knew that this sort of a thing was coming:

As I mentioned this morning, I resigned my position as Arkansas coordinator for HuckPAC today where I served in a volunteer capacity. My departure was with a heavy heart but was done after serious prayer and consideration. Some have asked about the timing. As most could imagine, the recent news of the last two days along with the response did play a role in this decision but was not the sole factor.

I may say more in the coming days but for now I will leave it at this. I still firmly believe in the ideals and principles championed by Gov. Mike Huckabee

via HuckPAC Resignation | The Tolbert Report.

God Bless that man. Sometimes the hardest decisions to make in one’s life are the right ones. I wish this man well; and I hope that he finds a candidate that he can stand behind.  As for Mike Huckabee, he is toast. I do not look for that show of his to be on the air much longer either. I mean, how the hell can he even continue to show his face in public? It is truly disgusting.

Politics is like the stock market; a huge gamble — sometimes you win big, sometimes you lose your arse. As for Huckabee, well, let’s just say his stock is greatly diminished — sort of like G.M.’s stock.

An Honest Review of Palin’s Book

You know, as much as I hate to give Andrew Sullivan any credit. He does point to very good posting here.

This was a bad and unhelpful book.

It was not bad because it was simple. Goldwater (or his ghost) used fewer pages in Conscience of a Conservative and said more. It was not bad because it was autobiographical. Though I don’t like his politics, President Obama confessed more and said it better in Dreams from My Father. If you don’t believe that this book is bad, then read (really do!) Ronald Reagan’s autobiography Where’s the Rest of Me? Ronald Reagan showed more substance in his delightful book written mostly about his time as an actor than Palin shows in her four hundred pages.

Reagan (or his ghost) did not write a wonk book. It is very, very readable, but it wrestles with ideas even in the context of a film star career! It is not Plato, but it is interesting and makes you want to talk to the man who wrote it. There is a man behind the book, the Gipper is in every paragraph, but there is only a ghost of a personality in the corporate machine written Going Rogue.

The best you can say about this book is that it is forgettable and will be forgotten. It is a book-of-the-moment non-book meant to be purchased and given as a Christmas gift to conservatives. It is an utter waste of an opportunity for something better, but it is no worse than most political “memoirs” of its type.

It is better than Pelosi, but damning a person with that comparison is almost too cruel after what Palin has endured.

via Done at Last: Ten Final Thoughts on Palin and “Going Rogue” » Evangel | A First Things Blog.

I hate to say it; but when the Evangelicals are saying your not that bright; it is a good chance that you are most likely not that bright. I like to see reviews like this from the right. I like intellectual honesty. Something that sometimes is not found on the right.  I highly recommend this read; and the funny retort by this poster here.

UPDATED: Suspect in WA Shooting was Pardoned by Governor Mike Huckabee Update:Huckabee’s PAC Releases Statement

Looks like Mike Huckabee’s Presidential aspirations are over.

Gabriel at Ace of Spades HQ Picks it up:

I’m sure a thousand people are digging up old news reports on Huckabee and Clemmons. And there will be a hundred stories in all the media tomorrow on Huckabs future in politics. Here’s the summary:

(1) Huckabee pardoned Clemmons because they had a mutual acquaintance, he labored at the governor's mansion under a prisoner work program, or a minister intervened on his behalf. No, I don’t actually know why he did it and Huckabee was notorious for refusing to give reasons for his pardons. These characteristics are what many of Huckabee’s pardons had in common.

(2) The possibility that Huckabee will run for president in 2012 has moved from “less than likely” (see sidebar) to “not a chance in hell.” Which, is just the way I like it. He always was just a Democrat with a Bible. His shameful campaign in Iowa ultimately gave us McCain last year. We no longer have to worry what Certain Fuckin’ Doomabee will bring us next time.

via WHOA: Suspected Police Assassin Was Pardoned by Gov. Huckabee in 2000 – By Gabriel Malor @ Ace of Spades HQ

Oh Yeah, this is huge. If this dude got off free; because of Chucklebee. He will never see the White House, ever. I have to agree with this assessment. Everything that I have seen about Huckabee says that he was and still is a RHINO. Speaking of which, did anyone watch Huckabee’s show today? Did you happen to see the segment about the music that the soldiers listen to in Iraq and Afghanistan? Talk about some hardcore uncomfortable moments! Especially considering that Mr. Huckabee is supposedly a Christian and a Baptist.

Update #2: Now a huge round up on Memeornadum Robert Stacy McCain has excellent coverage on his blog and at HotAir.com’s Green Room

Update #3: HuckPac Releases a Statement: (H/T to the Seattle P.I.)

The senseless and savage execution of police officers in Washington State has saddened the nation, and early reports indicate that a person of interest is a repeat offender who once lived in Arkansas and was wanted on outstanding warrants here and in Washington State. The murder of any individual is a profound tragedy, but the murder of a police officer is the worst of all murders in that it is an assault on every citizen and the laws we live within.

Should he be found to be responsible for this horrible tragedy, it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State. He was recommended for and received a commutation of his original sentence from 1990, this commutation made him parole eligible and he was then paroled by the parole board once they determined he met the conditions at that time. He was arrested later for parole violation and taken back to prison to serve his full term, but prosecutors dropped the charges that would have held him. It appears that he has continued to have a string of criminal and psychotic behavior but was not kept incarcerated by either state. This is a horrible and tragic event and if found and convicted the offender should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Our thoughts and prayers are and should be with the families of those honorable, brave, and heroic police officers.

Yeah, Sure Mike pass the buck. You are done you fool, now get rid of the show and stage act and go back to being a private citizen. What an idiot, fail to take any responsibility for his actions. I would never vote for that man, ever. Lost any and all respect that I ever had for him. 😡 Which, quite frankly, was not much at all. Mike Huckabee is a fraud, a phony, plays this self-righteous Christian game; all the while having secular music on his show. So typical of the compromising Southern Baptists, of whom 90% are not even really Born-Again at all.

Living Proof that Socialist Liberals are Classless Assholes

Cindy Sheehan and her band of code pink thugs attacked a Elderly Decorated Military Vietnam War Veteran!

The Video: (H/T to Gateway Pundit)

Gateway Pundit has more on this, including the parts NOT reported by the media.

CBS 13 in California has more:

An unidentified military veteran was involved in a tense confrontation with anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan and the group Code Pink at a rally at Travis Air Force Base on Saturday, November 28, 2009.CBSA Saturday rally led by anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan at Travis Air Force Base nearly ended in a brawl when a military veteran physically confronted the protesters.

Anti-war group Code Pink demonstrated at the military base Saturday morning in the first of six planned protests against unmanned military drones currently in use in overseas war zones.

Sheehan, a well-known anti-war activist whose son was killed while serving in Iraq in 2004, was leading the demonstration with a megaphone when a man dressed in a formal military uniform stepped up to her and berated her.

Videotape of the incident shows that Sheehan yelled “Get out of my face” through the megaphone at the man, who slapped the device away. Other protesters immediately joined Sheehan and traded insults with the man, and a shoving match broke out.

Military police quickly pulled the two sides apart.

What a disgrace to America!

But, that’s Obama’s America….. 🙄

Home of the sheep and the slaves!

Remember this come 2010 and 2012. We must take our Government back from this America-Hating fascists!

The Sunday Evening Round Up

Because I am not particularly in the mood to write a bunch of articles today, I will give the round up in what is happening in the political blogosphere.

Global Warming E-Mail-Gate Continues —— Christopher Booker at the telegraph thinks that this is the worst scandal to hit the global warming community in a long time. My personal feelings about global warming are this; the science is incomplete. Another problem with the entire global warming issue is this; it became a partisan issue, with one side having one set of data and other another set. This, I believe contributed to the problems with researching the subject. Once political agendas were introduced, the entire subject became muddled. This is why I firmly believe that partisan politics should be removed from the discussion and leave the science to the science folk. You can read the round up on this subject by clicking here.

The Swiss vote to ban any further building of minarets. — The first thing I thought when I saw this was; “What the heck is a minaret?” According to Wikipedia, a minaret is a structure for a Mosque. Naturally, this is causing quite a stir in Switzerland. You can read the roundup here.

Thomas Freidman says that the Shooting at Fort Dix was a result of Muslims being paranoid about Americans. —– Sorry folks, they do not get any more stupid than Friedman or hypocritical either. Friedman is nothing more than a Liberal Apologist for Muslim Terrorists, plain and simple. I am not the only one giving Friedman royal sand about this, read the roundup.

The New York Times, the most liberal print paper in America, writes a story that claims that Bush let Osama Bin Laden escape capture. Liberals and Democrats have LONG believed this, for years. (I know, I was one of them….) Why is this even being printed? Oh, I know why! Because Osama Obama’s poll numbers are dropping and his various so-called “solutions” to save America’s economy, which Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter royally screwed up — have failed. Therefore, the Liberals are trying to find an excuse to blame Bush for something. It is the classical distraction from the real issues at hand; Works every time, for most people. For the round up of reactions to the story, click here.

Here we have another story from the New York Times about high use of food stamps in America. My Friend Steven Glibert over at Sweetness and Light comments:

Somehow just about every person (except family, in a line for clothing) is white. Despite the article’s own (albeit buried) claim that “food stamps feed one in three blacks.”

But of course the real purpose of this article is to encourage more people to go on the dole.

The New York Times wants us to be a nation of layabouts who are completely dependent upon the government.

They know that is the fastest way to the socialist dictatorship they crave so badly.

Steve is a harsh man, but quite the truthful one.

The latest about Tiger Woods is not much at all. He is not saying much at all. The rumors of Martial infidelity and possibly masturbation while driving appear to be unfounded. — The reactions to this most interesting story can be found here.

The woman who is running for Fat Ted’s old senate seat is against sending more troops in to Afghanistan. Are you surprised? I thought not. — Read the Reactions here.

Not a big shock, but Iran plans to build more Nuke Factories. Obama wants to invite the bastard to a beer party or so I am told. — Read the reactions here.

That will do it for the news round up for this Sunday. I will see you all tomorrow for more blogging, snark and the occasional funny! See you then!

Census worker Murder was not a murder after all

The screaming Meme from the Left turns out to be a dud…

FRANKFORT — A part-time U.S. Census worker found dead near a secluded Clay County cemetery killed himself but tried to make the death look like a murder, authorities have concluded.

Bill Sparkman, 51, of London, apparently was trying to preserve payments under life insurance policies he had taken out, one as recently as May, which paid benefits if he died as a result of murder or accident, but not suicide or natural causes, police said.

Sparkman had survived a bout with cancer a few years ago, but told a friend he believed the cancer had returned and that he would die, police said.

However, there was no indication Sparkman’s cancer had recurred, said Cristin Rolf, deputy state medical examiner.

In a two-month investigation, police marshaled a number of reasons to conclude Sparkman ended his own life. Among other things, only Sparkman’s DNA was on evidence at the scene, and he had told a friend details of his plan that matched what happened, police said at a news conference Thursday.

Police interviewed potential homicide suspects but ruled them out, and found no evidence pointing to any conclusion except that Sparkman killed himself.

“We do believe that we have everything we need to rule out homicide and accidental” death, said state police Capt. Lisa Rudzinski, who helped direct the investigation.

The benefits under Sparkman’s two insurance policies totaled $600,000. Police declined to say who would have gotten the money, though Sparkman’s son Josh, 20, has said he was a beneficiary.

UPDATED: Census worker killed himself, officials say – Latest News – Kentucky.com.

…and for the word “FED” that was scrawled on his body, that the Liberals used as proof that he was murdered by some Government-hating right winger?

If there had been no writing on his chest and his identification hadn’t been taped to him, police could have concluded more quickly that Sparkman’s death was a suicide, Rudzinski told the Herald-Leader.

Instead, it took considerably more investigation to rule out homicide. Investigators even analyzed the writing on Sparkman’s chest to see how the letters were applied, in order to determine whether he wrote on himself or someone else wrote on him.

Forensic tests showed that the letters were applied from the bottom to the top — not the way an assailant facing Sparkman would write them. Police concluded that Sparkman wrote on himself, Rudzinski said.

There was also a good amount of other evidence:

Authorities cited a number of reasons supporting the conclusion Sparkman killed himself.

For instance, there was no evidence that Sparkman had struggled with anyone. There were no defensive wounds on his body and no trauma such as a blow to the head, authorities said.

Tests ruled out any theory that he was drugged and unconscious when he was tied to the tree, making the lack of signs of a struggle more significant.

Sparkman’s glasses were taped to his head with duct tape. The question that raises is why a killer would care whether Sparkman, who had poor vision, could see what was going on.

Police believe Sparkman taped the glasses to his head to make sure he could see as he prepared to kill himself, Rudzinski said.

Also, Sparkman was not dangling from the tree the way people commonly perceive hanging.

His legs were bent at the knees and his knees were less than six inches off the ground, authorities said.

The rope was thrown over a limb and tied off to another tree. Sparkman leaned forward, which would have put the weight of his body on his neck and caused him to lose consciousness, authorities said.

At some point, however, Sparkman could have stood up, taken the pressure off his neck and not died, said Mike Wilder, head of the state medical examiner’s office.

Sparkman’s hands were bound by duct tape, but loosely, allowing him to move them shoulder-width apart, Rolf said.

The significance of that is that Sparkman, acting alone, could have created all the conditions found at the scene, Rudzinski said.

If I were the Democratic Party right about now; I would be frantically calling EVERY last media outlet and DEMANDING that they run a full apology and retraction for ever accusing the right wing media of having anything to do with this. Of course, we do not live in times of political and personal integrity. But rather we have a media that is more interested in a “Story”, no matter if it’s true or not. Thank you liberals for basically insuring that your candidates for office never get elected in 2010 or 2012. If you all think that the American people are not paying attention to this, you are very highly mistaken. I am quite sure that Fox News will be covering this tomorrow and will be making sure that all of those millions of viewers of theirs; as opposed to MSNBC’s and CNN’s paltry sum of viewers, will be fully aware of this situation.

The ending of this article is the saddest part of all:

Authorities said they sympathized with the Sparkman family.

“Our hearts go out to him,” Rudzinski said of Josh Sparkman. “He still lost his father at the end of the day.”

Sparkman’s mother, of course, because she is a liberal, disagrees with the conclusion of the investigation. Sorry lady, your dumb ass son killed himself; because he was week-kneed coward who could not deal with life. Please, stop trying to blame us for something that your stupid son did to himself; that goes the liberal media as well. Next time, try doing your damned homework on a story, before you go off half cocked and blame a political group or ideology for the actions of a stupid coward like this.

Oh, and this comes out and this is the best that this idiot can say? What an Asshole! Speaking of assholes; geek idiot liberal Alan Colmes is spinning like a top.

Dear Friends,

Today, Tuesday, November 24, 2009, it is with a heavy heart that we declare this election over.  We will formally end this election and not ask for a recount.  This was a difficult choice to make because so many people have put their faith, hope and aspirations into our campaign.

Yes, there seem to have been many vote counting problems, missed vote counts and, as was recently reported by the Gouvernour Times, software problems in the computerized voting machines. Despite these incidents, I do not believe the voters of NY-23, or New Yorkers in general, would be well-served by a disruptive and costly recount that would most likely not change the election outcome.

I know many are disappointed and even angry. To those I say now is not the time to look back, but to focus on the future and ensure that next year we win back this district decidedly. Know this decision was not an easy one. I did not want to let down those who worked so hard, donated so much and shared their enthusiasm for retaking our country with common-sense conservative values.

And rest assured, our energies are now directed toward 2010. This election, in which a third party candidate narrowly lost, showed that principles do matter.  Special interests do have an Achilles’ heel, the American people. Main-street conservatism’s voice is now echoing through the government chambers and boardrooms that shape America. By most measures, this campaign was a success and I have you all to thank for this. And all of us have to thank the Conservative Party of New York State for nominating a candidacy like ours.

We take away lessons from this year’s campaign that will make us stronger and more competitive in the future. Next time we will be better prepared. Many people forget that our campaign only began in earnest three months ago. Most campaigns of this stature take at least a year to prepare. In three months, we almost toppled an entrenched political system and successfully defied the conventional thinking of the elite political punditry. Citizen government is making a comeback in America.

I thank everyone who participated in this campaign and urge each one of you to stand with me in the future. We have a calling that we must answer. My opponent in this race quickly abandoned the promises he made to his voters. Within the first hour of being sworn in by Nancy Pelosi, Bill Owens broke 4 campaign promises — so much for change in Washington. We must resoundingly defeat him next year and, with your help, I promise to help restore our nation’s faith in elected officials when we win.

But there is more to do than just win back NY-23 in 2010. We must work to help other like-minded citizen candidates win across the country.  We need to make time to help other candidates who are working for the principles we hold dear — other fiscal, common-sense conservatives.  Together we can successfully take back our great nation, one legislator and one member at a time. We need more than one common-sense conservative voice in the echo chamber of liberal, spend thrift cacophony if we are to redirect our great country.

I would also like to commend those election commission officials who worked tirelessly and may have taken offense to an unfortunate and poorly worded fundraising email that was sent out toward the end of our campaign.  As we tried to make sense of the false vote counts and stories of software viruses in the voting machines, we never intended to imply the election commissioners had somehow acted improperly. This was never our intention and, on the contrary, the election commissioners went above and beyond to uphold their duty to ensure a fair election took place. I owe them a debt of gratitude for all they have done.

So where to now? Full speed ahead to 2010. This gives us time to carefully articulate and communicate thoughtful positions on issues that impact the great people of our district and ensure that our campaign promises are NOT broken.  Best of all, it allows me to work hand-in-hand with the many supporters who shared their ideas, their concerns and their dreams with me.

We need to continue to stand united because we cannot spend our way out of recession or tax our way to prosperity. We must continue to fight to protect our liberties and protect those who are yet to be born.  We must protect our country against terrorists and protect the sanctity of marriage. We must fix our corrupt tax code, our immigration policy and our educational system.  Most of all, we must defend the free enterprise system that made America the greatest and most prosperous country in the world.  Although I’m conceding an election today, I do it with the certainty that we will win back this seat a year from now.  I am certain of this because our mission is too big, the country’s problems too dire and the American people are too smart.

Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. “We the people” are retaking America.

Again, I think it was worth every damned bit of bandwidth, time and effort; We will win in 2010. This was just a test and we passed, all of us.

According to Rasmussen, John McCain’s Money is not going to buy 2010 election

Like it has bought the rest of them….

Senator John McCain’s future in the U.S. Senate may be a little less assured than previously thought.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely 2010 Republican Primary voters in Arizona finds the longtime incumbent in a virtual tie with potential challenger J.D. Hayworth. McCain earns 45% of the vote, while Hayworth picks up 43%.

Former Minuteman leader Chris Simcox gets four percent (4%) support, while two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate and seven percent (7%) are undecided.

Hayworth, a conservative former U.S. congressman who now is a popular radio talk show host in Phoenix, is reportedly interested in the race but has not formally declared for it. He captures 59% of the male GOP vote, while McCain wins 58% of female voters.

Younger GOP voters like Hayworth more than their elders. McCain has a solid lead among the relatively small number of moderate and liberal Republicans in the state while Hayworth picks up a plurality (48%) of conservatives.

via Election 2010: Arizona Senate GOP Primary – Rasmussen Reports™.

I hate to be the one to say it; But, I am glad as hell that John McCain is going to get his tail kicked in the primary. The Late Senator Barry Goldwater hated this man’s guts till the day he died. Goldwater saw McCain as a made man; who got in on his family’s name. Here is hoping that Hayworth runs and defeats this RINO once and for all!

Why Rep. Virginia Foxx has to go, come 2010

This comes via Think Progress:

Video:

CARDOZA: Today, what I’m hearing on the floor really takes the cake. The gentlelady from North Carolina, in her statement just now, indicated that the Republican GOP had passed the Civil Rights Act legislation with almost no help from the Democrats. I can’t believe my ears. It was the Kennedy and Johnson administration where we passed that Great Society legislation. It was over the objections of people like Jesse Helms from the gentlewoman’s state that we passed that civil rights legislation. John Lewis…

FOXX: Would, would the gentleman yield?

CARDOZA: No, I will not yield. John Lewis, a member of this House, was beaten on the Edmund Pettus bridge to get that civil rights legislation passed. Tell John Lewis that he wasn’t part of getting that legislation passed.

When she was given a chance to respond, Foxx could only say that Jesse Helms wasn’t elected to the Senate until 1972.

I hate to admit it; but he is right, the Republican Party was against the civil rights act. That is because of the constitutionality of that act. That is why Berry Goldwater opposed it. That is why the Democrats who crossed over and became known as the “Neo-Conservatives” crossed over. Because of the 1960’s social upheaval in the country. Rep. Virgina Foxx was engaging in revisionist history and got caught; plain and simple. She needs to go; she is not doing the Republican any good at all.

The victimization of Sarah Palin by the MSM

Normally I would not use Gawker as a place to quote from on Politics; but this right here is dead on.

On Hardball last night, when asked about Sarah Palin’s potential strengths as a presidential candidate, 538.com’s Nate Silver genuinely cited her perpetual victim status and frequent faux-outrage as a factor that makes her difficult to run against.

via Upstate Conservative Decides He Won the Election Really – Gop – Gawker.

This sums up my anger towards those on the true conservative side that are swooning over her. Now it seems that because Barack Obama’s polices are failing, the Main Stream media feels the need to give Sarah Palin a second look and will most likely portray her as a poor victim of the mean old “Man Club” in politics; Hence her appearance on Oprah this week. Sarah Palin may be a great deal of things; but she is no victim. Sarah Palin made the choice to take the Vice President pick that John McCain offered her; she could have said no, but she chose to take the job; and because of the poorly ran campaign and possibly because of her, John McCain lost the run for the President. There was no victimization at all. Yes, she was held up to the microscope by the liberal Main Stream Media, it happens in politics, either you deal with it or you get out. This whole assertion by the far conservative right that Sarah Palin was treated unfairly was and still is a load of dung.

Further, the assertion that Sarah Palin’s children were singled out and President Obama’s were not is a load of bunk too. First, President Barack Obama did not ride in on the white horse of Social Conservatism all the while trying to hide the fact that his daughter was pregnant; Sarah Palin did. That in itself is abject hypocrisy. In addition, President Barack Obama’s children are Pre-teens; Sarah Palin’s daughter was 17 years old. She was old enough to have sex; there is a huge difference there and anyone that does not see that, is most likely too stupid to be involved in politics. This is serious politics and not 8’th grade school yard nonsense; so the “girl power” crowd needs to seriously get real. Besides,  the only difference between the “Girl Power” crowd and the “White Power” crowd; is the gender and political parties involved.

I’m Back

Yes, I am back. You did not think I would stay gone for long did you? I just needed to take break from things for a bit. There are a few things, which I really need to make clear and get out into the open.

  1. Women are off limits now:  There will be no more stupid jokes about women or offensive stuff towards woman on this blog anymore. I will keep up what I did post on the blog. Because removing stuff is quite cowardly, except in some extreme cases. However, as of right now, I will not be doing that anymore. I guess I will have to remember that not everyone appreciates my politically incorrect snarky writings and dark humor. For the record, I am not a misogynistic piece of dung, as I so called by so-called “Conservative Lesbian” who obviously lacks a sense of humor. If I truly were, I would not be living were I am now. As my Mom would have none of that. For what it is worth; my Mom voted for Obama and has voted Democrat except when she voted for Reagan. I am very much against political correctness and the very idiotic feminist movement in this country — Because it is an out branch of the liberal mindset. However, I believe I have may have distanced some friends of mine in my quest to stick my finger in the eye of those feminists. I apologize to those that I may have offended; however, I will never apologize for my feelings about the feminist movement and the idiotic political ideology that it comes from.
  2. This blog, nor its author carry water for ANY political party, person, or opinion: Before I get some liberal come by here and say, “What about this here that you wrote?” I wrote what I wrote about Mike Bouchard, because I and many other Michigan residents; both Republican and Democrat know that the Democrats way of handling this recession has been a disaster for this State. I have known this, since the first state recession hit back in 2000; when I was laid off from my job back then, I knew something was horribly wrong and I knew then that the Democrats were causing it. The whole idea that Bush caused the Michigan recession is lie that was perpetuated by the Democrats, because of their inability to take responsibility for their own actions; like NAFTA. Because of this, our State here is in an economic free fall. When it comes to state politics, I do like to vote the principles over the party of the said candidate and right now Mike Bouchard is, as far as I am concerned, the man that Michigan needs for a full-scale economic recovery. Having said all of that, I wish to submit that I do not carry water for either of these political parties. I will explain this in my next point.
  3. Sarah Palin and Me: The reason I got a bit miffed earlier, is that I felt that the Conservative media and blogosphere were in full on stupid mode about Palin. Because of this, I ended tearing into a good friend of mine; and I feel horrible about that. Robert Stacy McCain is just as much entitled to his opinion of Sarah Palin; as I am or Ron Dreher is. I should not have went after McCain like that, I apologize to him publically and to you my readers. I should not have taken the slam of Dreher personally, as I sure that he did not at all. I will be upfront about it; I just do not believe that Sarah Palin is qualified to be President of the United States, at all. Nor will she ever be, in my opinion. I will not support her, if she runs. I will not carry water for her, at all —-There are plenty of blogs and websites that will do that; this will not be one of them. Fiscally, I am quite the Conservative; being in a bankruptcy will do that to a person, so will getting older too, and I feel that Palin’s mushy populism is just that, mushy populism and is not nearly as Conservative, as I would want someone to be, who was going to be in the White House. Another reason I do not much care for her, is that I am more of a libertarian, when it comes to social issues. Just because I do not agree with a particular social item, does not mean I think it is my right to persecute those that do. That my friend is what “Social Conservatism” does. My Conservatism on social matters is more of the “Ron Paul” stripe, honestly, the only thing that scares me worse that the far socialist left is the far religious right. The late Senator Barry Goldwater did not like them, and I am not a big fan either; I cannot support a style of Government that the far religious right wants that is on par with Nazi Fascism, and that is what, I feel, Sarah Palin embodies. For this reason, I would not be compelled to support Sarah Palin if she should decide to run for President. While I am a Born Again Christian; I do not believe that one should mix their personal religious beliefs with their politics, that is a dangerous thing to do and it has caused this Nation an enormous amount of grief in the past 20 years. Like it or not, or mixing of our religious views and our politics is what caused the 9/11 attacks.

In closing, I hope this little editorial has help some of you understand me better and where it is, that I am coming from. By the way, I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is taking the heat. It looks like AllahPundit is making new friends too. But at least, he is not knocking the tent down, like this here:

Ouch.
