Let Me Repeat: Obama and the MFM staked the entirety of their credibility and judgment on the assertion that this was a moderate man interested only in peace, and of course in no way a supporter of terrorism, and anyone who suspected otherwise was an ignorant bigot with a heart full of hatred.

So let’s see. Let’s see.

Let’s see whose judgment was sound and whose judgment was really full of ignorance and hatred — hatred for the concerns of their fellow Americans.

I am going to be perfectly honest with you. I have been trying to keep an open mind on this subject and trying not demagogue this issue; but try to present all sides, as I am a more moderate classic liberal/Conservative person. But if these allegations are true, then my position will change. Because I do not want a Mosque or whatever the hell this thing is; being ran by someone like this, at all.

I, like many others I’m sure, await to hear these recordings. I cannot wait for them to come out.   I should point out, that there is video of this man saying that American basically created Osama Bin Laden. I have seen that; but this is entirely different. Again, I await these recordings.

Defending five fortified compounds across the country, the security contractors would operate radars to warn of enemy rocket attacks, search for roadside bombs, fly reconnaissance drones and even staff quick reaction forces to come to the aid of civilians in distress, the officials said…

The department’s plans to rely on 6,000 to 7,000 security contractors, who are also expected to form “quick reaction forces” to rescue civilians in trouble, is a sensitive issue, given Iraqi fury about shootings of civilians by American private guards in recent years. Administration officials said that security contractors would have no special immunity and would be required to register with the Iraqi government. In addition, one of the State Department’s regional security officers, agents who oversee security at diplomatic outposts, will be required to approve and accompany every civilian convoy, providing additional oversight.

Blackfive which is a very excellent Milblogger has much to say about this. I will be honest; I am very disappointed that more of the Conservative Bloggers are not covering this. It seems that they are more interested in the Mosque story. Which is highly disappointing. My high kudos to AllahPundit over at HotAir, for at least giving the Military the dignity that they deserve.

And now, for a special comment from me, your humble host, about the ending of this long seven year war.

I think I can speak for the great majority of America — I am just damned glad it is finally done, over, finished.  For seven long years, our Nation sat, rent asunder, divided over what could possibly be called the biggest blunder that a Presidential Administration, not to mention a Nation, a Congress, and Country could ever have pulled off — A decision to go to war with a Country based upon now what is now known as horrifically flawed intelligence.  Without over simplifying it and at the risk of sounding like a far-leftist Liberal —- Oops, we blew it and blew it bad —– Because of this very idiotic blunder, 4415 of our Nation’s finest young men and woman, ended up going to a damned meat grinder and losing their lives.  For a war, that had absolutely nothing, zero, nada to do with the attacks on the World Trade Center, The Pentagon and on Flight 93 that the Government claims was on the way to the White House on September 11, 2001.  In short and quite bluntly, we screwed the pooch on that one, and whole bunch of Military people were killed.

I say the word “Claims,” because the United States Government has not exactly been very forthcoming about all of the evidence that they have, which supports the claims made by the Government about what really happened on 9/11.  Now, before anyone begins to think it; no, I am not a 9/11 “truther.”  No more, than I am a far leftist or even a damned Republican.  However, I will say to you that I do not trust my Government.  Because to blindly trust the Government is to never question what they say to you; and to never question or challenge is to be a slave or a servant; and the last time I checked, I am not, nor have I ever been, a slave to anyone or a servant of anyone, save the Lord Jesus Christ. That even that I readily admit to being quite lousy at doing, at times.

Having said all that let me say this:

We won.

No thanks, of course, to the Democratic Party, The libertarian leftists, The Ron Paul people, The Pat Buchanan types, The Paleo-Conservatives in General, the far-leftists, and the liberal, owned, controlled, and financed media in this God-forsaken Country of ours.

However, all praise, honor and any sort of decree is to be given to the United States Armed Forces.  They simply kicked Al-Qaeda’s ass in Iraq.  The US Military smoked them damned towel heads from one end of Iraq to the other.  Most of their dead bodies are in Iraqi Cemeteries; which is a good place for them, if you ask me.

Personally, I am glad this conflict is over.  I am also glad, that we actually won.  There was no Vietnam-like ending, we left victorious.

We won.

In the future, we should be much more careful.

We also should remember those who did not make it out alive.

However, today, we dance, we rejoice.

Because tomorrow, we go back to work and we finish the damned job on the war on terror.

The very idea that these Semite-Baiting idiots on the far right would attempt to smear Harvard and accuse them of supporting terrorism; is absolutely laughable. Further more, this whole idea that if you do not adhere to some rabid Zionist doctrine or if you do not support rabid Zionist causes; makes you a supporter of jihad —— smacks of something that almost destroyed the Republican Party in the 1950’s —— McCarthyism.

Let me give a open warning to the Republican Party or more specifically the Conservative Blogosphere and the Conservative media in general. If you embrace this sort of Anti-Liberty nonsense and you use the tactic of calling someone, who happens to disagree with your stance an Anti-Israel or a supporter of Jihad; your political cause will die. The Republican Party will not survive. Not everyone that disagrees with the rabid Zionism of the far-right is a supporter of terrorism. The sort of attitude of “You are either with us or against us” almost destroyed the Bush Presidency and they abandoned that talking point, some would say after it was too late for that Administration, but I digress. That sort of collective group think will never do a thing to further the cause of Conservatism. Joseph McCarthy found that out, the hard way.

I am a Moderate Conservative; I believe that any sort of political or religious philosophy taken to any sort of extreme, is dangerous. Further more, I am all for the fiscal Conservatism. I believe that “Tax and Spend” is NOT a good way to come out of a recession. But I will be DAMNED if I will ever, EVER, EVER side with those who wish to smear others who disagree with their religious or political agendas!

It also stands for basically a Jewish Conservative as well. As the term does have origins among the Paleo-Conservatives or old right; who were bigoted and quite resentful of the Jews who crossed over from being Democrats to Republicans.

I would quote some of that deranged nonsense over here; but the good majority of it is just sheer unhinged hate.

Don’t get me wrong; I am not a Bill Kristol fan, not by a long shot; but that is just over the top and sheer lunacy.

ANN COULTER TO SPEAK AT “GAY” CONVENTION (Friday Church News Notes, August 13, 2010, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – Ann Coulter, a political commentator who is often held forth as one of the bright stars of the conservative movement in America, will be the featured speaker at Homocon 2010 in New York City. The meeting is staged by GOProud, the only national organization of “gay conservatives.” (GOP usually stands for the Republican Party, though we do not know if it has that meaning in this context.) This highlights the extreme weakness of the “conservative” movement for the Bible believer. What good does it do to fight for constitutional conservatism when the root problem of America’s ills is moral and spiritual? It’s like putting a bandaid on a cancer. The U.S. Constitution could not have been created in this wicked, apostate generation, and it will not be preserved in this generation. The only hope is for true spiritual revival in the churches, and that would require separation from the things that God hates. Many Independent Baptists and fundamentalists are yoked together with unbelievers and immoral people for the sake of “saving America.” That is disobedience to the Bible, which says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness” (2 Corinthians 6:14). We are never going to get God’s power and blessing by disobeying Him. Furthermore, Bible believers are already being persecuted and harassed by homosexuals across the land, and this persecution is increasing each year. Will these “gay conservatives” speak out against the so-called hate crimes laws and the persecution of Christians who believe that homosexuality is a sin?

MEGACHURCH PASTOR SLAMS “NORMAL” CHURCHES (Friday Church News Notes, August 13, 2010, www.wayoflife.org, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) – In a recent sermon, Perry Noble, pastor of the four-campus NewSpring Church in South Carolina, slammed traditional churches mercilessly. Responding to criticisms that his church is too loud and resembles a concert, Noble said, “I don’t want to be normal when it comes to church in America because normal is dehydrated, normal is dead, normal is predictable, normal is boring, normal is lifeless, and when the tomb is empty and Jesus is alive and I’ve crossed over from death to life, praise God, I don’t want to be normal!” (“S.C. Pastor,” Christian Post, Aug. 4, 2010). By Noble’s strange thinking, before rock & roll was brought into the house of God a few years ago every church was dehydrated, dead, predictable, boring, and lifeless. Until a bare 40 years ago, there were NO churches like NewSpring, and there had not been any for 2,000 years. No Sunday morning rock & roll parties. None. Nowhere. All of the churches then were “normal” and “traditional” in that respect. Noble is confusing a worldly rock & roll party with godly spiritual excitement, but they are not the same. Rock & roll is definitely spiritual, but it is the spirit of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Any man that confuses rock & roll with godly spiritual excitement is far too blind to lead God’s people.

WTF?!?!?: Council Worker fired for mentioning God

There is widespread shock following the news that Duke Amachree has lost his case, having been sacked for mentioning God in the workplace. An employment tribunal has ruled that it was reasonable for Wandsworth Council to dismiss Duke, after he was sacked for gross misconduct for suggesting to a client with an incurable illness not to give up hope and to try putting her faith in God. The tribunal also found that the Council had not discriminated against Mr Amachree on the basis of his religion. In addition, the tribunal took the view that Duke had breached confidentiality by publicizing his case. The decision has come as a huge surprise to Duke and to his legal team.

Duke, a father of two and committed Christian, had worked for Wandsworth Council for 18 years and had an unblemished record. Yet, as a result of the comments he made in one 45 minute housing interview, he was subject to 6 months of investigations and three interviews with the Council. His solicitor was even told by the Council that saying “God bless” to a client would require an investigation if the client complained.

Gross misconduct usually covers such behaviour as violence in the workplace, theft or other such serious conduct. Yet the client herself expressly stated that she did not want Duke to be dismissed for what he had said and Duke had never been told that such small talk in a housing interview was prohibited. The Council have always accepted that Duke’s motivation in speaking to the client was purely one of compassion

Allow me this space to write a few words…. I will be the first to say that I did not always agree with President George W. Bush on policy. But I will say this; I did always know, just right where he stood, on all policy matters. For all of his faults while he was in office; the man did one thing right and that was the decision to sacrifice his Presidency for the war on terror. President Bush knew the stakes and knew the he would most likely become a lame duck President. However, that did not bother him and he did what he had to do, to defend this great nation of ours.

Like him or not….President Bush was and still is a leader, he loved our Military and was willing to take the heat of criticism from the left, for the many deaths of our Military’s officers during the Iraqi war.

I may not have voted for him, but I do and will always respect him.

A very heart rending story. 🙁

On the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, I watched as terrorists slammed United Flight 175 into the South Tower of the World Trade Center, 18 minutes after their accomplices on another hijacked plane hit the North Tower. My mother was on the flight. I witnessed her murder on live television. I still cannot fully comprehend those images. In that moment, I died as well. I carry a hole in my heart that will never be filled.

From the first memorial ceremonies I attended at Ground Zero, I have always been moved by the site; it means something to be close to where my mother may be buried, it brings some peace. That is why the prospect of a mosque near Ground Zero — or a church or a synagogue or any religious or nationalistic monument or symbol — troubles me.

Anyone, with any sort of common sense would agree with this; but it is quite obvious that this common sense in not found in liberal circles. This is evidenced by this idiotic tripe, written by some moronic asshole on the liberal left. Which tends to make me believe that liberals are supportive, even sympathetic to the cause of those who flew those planes into the trade center, and the pentagon. Hell, after all, did not some of the liberal left accuse George W. Bush of ordering the attacks; and basically say that the United States deserved the attacks because of “Bush-Hitler” and his capitalistic society?

Leave it to the liberal left, to collectively piss on the graves of those who died on 9/11. It is what they are about good for. That and disrespecting those who’ve died in wars.

Conservative Bloggers and Conservatives on general, have been condemned by the liberal bloggers for referring to the liberals in this Country, as Anti-American. Well, as a former “Left of Center”, who woke up and smelled the coffee about the Democratic Party and those within it; let me say this —- Yes, they are Anti-American. Anyone who would support a Muslim Mosque within 25 or more miles of where those on 9/11 died, is nothing more than traitor to America. Plain and simple; you cannot claim to support America, its ideals and its freedoms; and then at the same damned time hand a token of victory to the Muslims; by allowing them to build this sort of a building. It just is not possible.

As I said once before; In the name GOD; do not allow this to happen.

“And we’re suppose to not think nothing of letting a Mosque to be built near ground zero. These people are really quite arrogant and cruel to us…and they have the gall to say we’re arrogant. The people who suffered because of 9/11 deserve to thought of better than this”

…Let me go on the record as saying….

That I totally and wholeheartedly agree. This is not about religious freedom, nor is it about hating Muslims or Islam. It is about protecting the memories of those who died on September 11, 2001; all 2,976 victims.

Why I left the Far-Right: Exhibit R for Racism and L for Lies

Here is another reason why I basically decided to part ways with the Neo-Conservative, Far-Right in the Blogosphere — Which included me leaving the Conservative Hive on BlogAds.

It seems that some writer over at John Hawkings’s Right Wing News Blog, which is a strict Neo-Conservative Blog, has posted a entry rife full of lies and outright racism towards Arabs in Detroit.

First, the racism:

Just as no good deed goes unpunished, no act of evil remains unrewarded for long — much less a whole career of evil that reached its crescendo with a denunciation of Jews so tasteless that not even the liberal establishment media could stomach it. This is why the Muslim colonists populating Dearbornistan are erecting a statue of Helen Thomas.

Did you get that? “Dearbornistan.” That is what your Far-Right in this Country is come to; outright racism and bigotry towards Arabs. Dearbornistan is a racist play on words for the city of Dearborn, Michigan. Which is populated by Arabs. The good majority of which are peace-loving Muslims and yes, some Christian Arabs as well. But, that is no matter to those on the far-right; they are ate up with bigotry and hatred towards the Arabs in this Country. Mainly because of 9/11. My question to them is this; do two wrongs make a right? I think not. Could you imagine if someone referred to an area of America, that was heavily populated by Jews in the same manner as this? The outrage would be absolutely deafening.

Not being satisfied with just being a racist bigot, this guy is also a liar as well, check out this little nugget of B.S.:

I’d be surprised if taxes aren’t making up most of the difference. No problem, Michigan is flush with cash these days.

Nowhere at all in this story, which is about Helen Thomas getting statue of her likeness in a Arab Museum; does it say a thing about Helen Thomas’s statue being paid for by U.S. Tax dollars, nowhere. But that does not stop these far-right, Neo-Conservative bigots from spreading lies like this. Because, you see, it is all about their bigoted little narrative, that ALL Arabs are terrorists, and that they are out to kill all Americans and so forth.

Do not misunderstand me here, I do not not, nor will I ever side with the socialist left in this Country. But I will be damned if I ever side with a bunch of far-right bigots either! This is the reason why I personally believe that the Republican Party is going to get it’s ASS handed to it in the primaries and in 2012. The American people, like me, just do not have any tolerance for bigotry and racism —– towards ANY race at all. This is why I voted libertarian in the 2008 election. One because I thought Sarah Palin was an idiot, and still do; two because of this sort of idiotic racist bigotry that exists in the Conservative circles. It is wrong, it should be flushed out and exposed for what it really is.

I mean, these guys are acting like the Jim Crow racist Democrats of the south prior to 1964. It is truly unreal.

Let me also say this; this sort of crap right here, is why I basically parted ways with the more Paleo-Conservative circles in the past. Because I just do not have any tolerance for this sort of nuanced bigotry and racism, and now here it is being found in the more main-stream, Neo-Conservative circles. If William F. Buckley was alive he would be fit to be tied for idiotic nonsense like this. Using 9/11 as a license to act like Klan members; it is truly unbelievable.

The Israel Defense Forces said the strikes targeted three locations in Gaza: a Hamas “terror-activity site” in the north, a weapons manufacturing site in central Gaza and a weapons smuggling tunnel in Rafah.

Earlier on Friday, the Foreign Ministry instructed Israeli ambassadors to file an immediate complaint to the president of the UN Security Council and the Human Rights Council in Geneva following the attack in Ashkelon and mortar fire in the western Negev on Friday.

“In the complaint, Israel will emphasize that the grad missile launch on a city the size of Ashkelon, is a clear attempt to kill men, women and children and is a clear violation of international law and sheds light on the murderous, barbaric and violent intent of the missile attack,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Yossi Levy.

I think it just needs to be said. This stupid nonsense with the rocket attacks into Israel from Gaza has gone on long enough. Israel needs to either step it up or shut up. Israel needs to execute a World War II style bombing attack on Gaza AND Palestine; what I mean, is this — Israel needs to bomb these damned bastards, until the last one of the lot stops breathing. I am talking about carpet bombing the entire damned lot of them. Enough is enough! Peace treaties have been signed and they failed, bogus promises have been made, and they have been reneged on. The only language that these Arab bastards seem to understand, is the end of a gun or the end of a bomb rocket. It is time to speak the language of these idiots and give them what they truly want, and that is a one way ticket to go see Allah.

Anything other that this, and Israel is just wasting their time and their resources.

But, as we all know, Israel will not do this; because they are cowards. They kowtow to the United Nations and when the U.N. says jump, they do not ask how high or when they can come down; and as long as this is the case, Israel will have to contend with these bastards. That my friends, is the real tragic thing about this whole situation; the fact the an entire Nation is essentially held in a “Concentration Camp” style of bind and cannot defend its own Nation from those who wish to see it destroyed.
