Now, towards of the end of this. He gets off into the weeds about the Unions. I’ll give him a pass on it. Because some of the stuff he says, I kind agree with. But he went overboard with the “They should gotten out from under them years ago…” I disgree with that crap. But the rest of the video is right on point.

Of course, if I was a real butt hole, I could say if it weren’t for the Democrats, his black ass would not have half the freedom that he has now. But to counter that, If it were not for Abe Lincoln, he would be still in chains. So, it evens out. 😀

Still I wish there were more black people, like Zo here who believed this way. But unfortunately most of them got sucked into that stupid socialist identity politics crap. Thanks to tools like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Michelle Malkin goes….Cartoon?

Well, I knew she was short and some feel a little looney… (We’re tiny, we’re tooney, we’re all a little looney!)

Ahem. Anyhow… Michelle draws a line from Cartoons to the Bailouts. Well, the example is rather humorous. But when it comes to the 8.5 trillion bucks that the Government has been using to prop up everyone and their uncle. I was thinking somewhere along these lines here for a cartoon analogy:

1950’s Pinup Star Bettie Page in Hospital after heart attack

Bettie Page, a 1950s pinup known for her raven-haired bangs and saucy come-hither looks, was hospitalized in intensive care after suffering a heart attack, her agent said Friday.

“She’s critically ill,” Mark Roesler of CMG Worldwide told The Associated Press.

He said the 85-year-old had been hospitalized for the last three weeks with pneumonia and was about to be released when she had the heart attack Tuesday. Page was transferred to another hospital in Los Angeles and remained in intensive care Friday.

A family friend, Todd Mueller, said Page was in a coma. When asked to confirm, Roesler said, “I would not deny that,” but he would not comment further on her condition.

Page, a secretary turned model, is credited with helping set the stage for the sexual revolution of the rebellious 1960s. She attracted national attention with magazine photographs of her sensuous figure that were tacked up on walls across the country.

Her photos included a centerfold in the January 1955 issue of then-fledgling Playboy magazine, as well as controversial sadomasochistic poses.

Page later spent decades away from the public eye, and during that time battled mental illness and became a born-again Christian.

After resurfacing in the 1990s, she occasionally granted interviews but refused to allow her picture to be taken.

Mueller credits his business dealings with Page for bringing her out of seclusion. He said he first met her in 1989 when he offered her “a bunch of money” to show up at autograph signings.

“I probably sold 3,000 of her autographs, usually for $200 to $300,” he said. “Eleanor Roosevelt, we got $40-$50. … Bettie Page outsells them all.”

Thoughts and Prayers are with Mrs. Page and her family this day. 🙁

Oh Noes! Amsterdam to close many brothels, sex shops

Amsterdam unveiled plans Saturday to close brothels, sex shops and marijuana cafes in its ancient city center as part of a major effort to drive organized crime out of the tourist haven.

The city is targeting businesses that “generate criminality,” including gambling parlors, and the so-called “coffee shops” where marijuana is sold openly. Also targeted are peep shows, massage parlors and souvenir shops used by drug dealers for money-laundering.

“I think that the new reality will be more in line with our image as a tolerant and crazy place, rather than a free zone for criminals” said Lodewijk Asscher, a city council member and one of the main proponents of the plan.

“It’ll be a place with 200 windows (for prostitutes) and 30 coffee shops, which you can’t find anywhere else in the world — very exciting, but also with cultural attractions,” he said. “And you won’t have to be embarrassed to say you came.”

A bit of an explanation

Some of you who come here quite regularly. Might have noticed a picture in my right sidebar under the heading, “Memo To Minorities – I do not embrace diversity!” Followed by a picture of a young white girl in pigtails, giving a rather familiar gesture,  with the words, “You want me to race mix?” in the picture.

Last night around four in the morning. I removed the picture……and here is why.

First off, I thought about my Father, who has many African-American Friends. I thought about my family. In short, common sense got the best of me.

Folks, I want to be clear, I am not, nor have I ever been a racist bigot.  I, through the medium of this Blog, sometimes use language; albiet at times a bit rough and tumble, that causes liberals to have knee jerk reactions. But when the smoke clears, I accept everyone as equal.

The only thing that I am opposed to, is the following:

  1. Race Baiting
  2. Identity Politics
  3. The fact that Illegal Immigrants want we Americans to adapt to their culture, and not the other way around.
  4. Politicians who pander to minorities, of ANY race!
  5. Socialism of the Far Left
  6. Communism in all it’s forms.

So, in short, that pictures with those words, went a bit beyond of the type of battle that I am fighting. It promoted hate, something that I am just not about at all.

I have not had a full time, good paying, long term job, since 2005. I’m White, I’m here legally and I’m an Natural Born American Citizen.

Where do I fit into that equation?

Scapegoating is the most stupid thing we can do. For as long as I can remember, It was the blacks fault that nobody could find work. Now it’s the Illegals. It’s the easy way out and it is stupid as hell.

A white social studies teacher attempted to enliven a seventh-grade discussion of slavery by binding the hands and feet of two black girls, prompting outrage from one girl’s mother and the local chapter of the NAACP. After the mother complained to Haverstraw Middle School, the superintendent said he was having “conversations with our staff on how to deliver effective lessons.”

“If a student was upset, then it was a bad idea,” said Superintendent Brian Monahan of the North Rockland School District in New York City’s northern suburbs.

The teacher apologized to the mother who complained and her 13-year-old daughter during a meeting Thursday that also included a representative of the local NAACP. But the mother, Christine Shand of Haverstraw, said Friday she thinks the teacher should be removed from the class.

“I think the teacher should have gotten some discipline,” Shand said. “I know if that was me, I would be uncomfortable going back to that class. Why should my daughter have to switch?”

Monahan refused to say what, if any, measures were taken against the teacher, Eileen Bernstein, who was still working on Friday. The school district said she was not available for comment.

“We encourage our teachers to deliver the curriculum in a variety of ways, to go beyond just reading the textbook,” the superintendent said. “We don’t want to discourage creativity. But this obviously went wrong because the student was upset.”

Uhm…. These people ought not to be allowed near cars. Much less teach.

As I discussed with economic guru Brian Wesbury on tonight’s show, the GOP should demand a real concession as part of a quick deal to get Detroit cash.  I think the price from the Dems should be a cut in the corporate tax rate for MI- and OH-headquartered businesses to Ireland’s 12.5%.  As Wesbury said, it would spark a huge economic revival in the Wolverine and Buckeye states –just huge.  And the teaching moment would be huge as well.

Detroit is going to get the money now or in February.  So get something worth having, House and Senate GOP.

Uh, Hugh? Has anyone bothered to inform you that you all are in the minority in Congress? I mean, you all had your chance in 2003 till 2006 to stop the economic crisis and you sat around and did nothing. You ought to hope that “The One” does not force the desolving of the G.O.P. and outlaws Conservatism in General.

Somehow, I highly doubt at Tax decrease would even help. We’re in a recession, in case you didn’t know. Of course, being the wealthy radio star and all, I would not expect you to know this.

New U.A.W. Ad

How anyone can say that the U.A.W. put the big three where they are now, is beyond me. They did not design the shit cars that the big three were building. Anyone who says that the U.A.W. is to blame is; 1. Anti-Union  and 2. An ASSHOLE in my book.

All this argument is for nought , because Congress has agreed to float the big three with some money.

Glad to see that the people in congress in Washington D.C. have finally, decided that we, the people here in the Motor City are people too. It just never ceases to amaze me, that the people on capital hill will float 8.5 trillion to the various Banks and ask for nothing in return, but you let G.M., Ford and Chrysler ask for help and it turns into a fucking circus. It just does not make sense and it speaks to the attitude towards the working class in this country of those on Capital Hill.  The only Conservative that I have any remote respect for, Patrick J. Buchanan; has been the only one speaking out in thier defense, the rest are assholes. Period, Plain and simple.

Oh, yes! Let’s bail out Wall St., but to hell with Main Street! 🙄

Code Pink’s very upset about it and forwarded it around. The key bit is that the Berkeley Public Library wants a waiver to get around the Berkeley Nuclear Free Zone laws (because they can’t do business with 3M otherwise).

It’s amusing in its own way…

Hi Berkeley People!

Who would ever have believed that this law that has been on the City of Berkeley books for 22 years in our town is now in jeopardy! Not only that but it[‘]s because of our beloved Berkeley Public Library! This is a situation that would make Kafka, himself, shudder!

The present dilemma starts with the Radio Frequency Identification D’s (RFID)-these are the chips now in all library books to track them AND you when you carry said book. They were purchased from the company, “Checkpoint” who then turned the (expired) contract over to 3M.

Since 3M is a manufacturer of munitions and depleted uranium with connections to Honeywell and Boeing, it is against the law for Berkeley to do business with them because of the Nuclear Free Status Law.

That’s why the library is requesting Berkeley to institute a 2 year waiver to rescind our Nuclear Free Status.

This waiver, which is now before the Berk. Peace & Justice Commission of the Berkeley City Council, could allow nuclear material to be transported through our town. In Berkeley we also have an important reputation as a peace city-this obviously would be in tatters.

The library doesn’t want to go to a bar-code system; it’s easier for them to keep the status quo even though the cost is $70,000/year to maintain this invasive of privacy system that also requires the waiver of the above mentioned law.

The Nuclear Free Law is more relevant now than ever!

PLEASE call/write your council person to take action on this matter. The Peace & Justice Comm has tabled the issue until its next meting in Jan. as no decision could be made at the Dec 1 meeting.

I believe the next meeting will be on Jan 5th. 2009.

A strange bunch, they are.

As someone from McCarthy’s home state, let me just say that while McCarthy was not wrong in saying there were Communists in government warning us about this, his scattershot, reckless approach made it easy for the powers that be to destroy him and make a characiture out of him. I also don’t think Gabler’s wrong in saying that a style of politics sprung forth from McCarthy (although one could say it predates all the way back to Nxon’s first campaign for Congress in 1946. ) but he should know that when elities operate in backrooms and make policies that could kill young American boys and now girls in battle and some of those people in the room are agents for a foreign power trying to get the U.S. to fight their battles for them, then why should it be so suprising that a populist figure from outside the establishment comes along to turnover the furnitiure inside the Clubhouse and say all little emperors and empresses wear no clothes. McCarthy and McCarthyism was never a vacumn to one’s self. It reflected people’s concerns over the conduct of U.S. foreign policy and the tendency for elities to shut out the voices of many of the country’s citizens when that policy is being made. McCarthy may well have been on the wrong side of history, but he was not afraid to, as he put it “call a spade a spade.”

Question No. 58 in the transition team vetting document for the Obama White House asks that applicants: “Please provide the URL address of any websites that feature you in either a personal or professional capacity (e.g. Facebook, My Space, etc.)”

Question No. 63 asks that applicants “please provide any other information … that could … be a possible source of embarrassment to you, your family, or the President-Elect.”

For a while there this afternoon, President-elect Barack Obama’s immensely talented chief speechwriter, 27-year-old Jon Favreau, might have been pondering how to address that question.

That’s when some interesting photos of a recent party he attended — including one where he’s dancing with a life-sized cardboard cut-out of secretary of state-designate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, and another where he’s placed his hand on the cardboard former first lady’s chest while a friend is offering her lips a beer — popped up on Facebook for about two hours. The photos were quickly taken down — along with every other photo Favreau had of himself on the popular social networking site, save for one profile headshot.

Asked about the photos, Favreau, who was recently appointed director of speechwriting for the White House, declined comment. A transition official said that Favreau had “reached out to Senator Clinton to offer an apology.”

Favreau is not the first campaign aide whose online presence has proved awkward. Last March, John McCain aide Soren Dayton forwarded an anti-Obama YouTube video to his private Twitter feed linking Obama with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, leading to his suspension from the campaign. And in 2007, two bloggers hired by former North Carolina senator John Edwards stepped down after blog posts they had written before he hired them became a subject of controversy.

Favreau’s case seems unlikely to be so dire; Clinton senior adviser Philippe Reines cast the photos as evidence of increased bonhomie between the formerly rival camps.

“Senator Clinton is pleased to learn of Jon’s obvious interest in the State Department, and is currently reviewing his application,” he said in an e-mail.

ROFLMAO! 😆 I bet they are reviewing his application! 😀 HA!

I’ve criticized Michelle Malkin in times pasts, when I felt that she has went off the rails.

Today, is not going to be one of those days.

Michelle writes in her column today about the stupidity of the conspiracy theorists. One of them, as that morally depraved, Homosexual “So-Called” Conservative;  Andrew Sullivan, who still, to this day, does not believe that Sarah Palin’s baby was hers.   Another is a group of ignorant morons who are attempting to prove that President-Elect Barack Obama is not a true United States Citizen.

Both of these are rooted in one thing, and one thing only. Stupidity. I believe that people that are going after Obama for one reason and one reason only. Abject Racism.

…and before anyone brings up my photo in the sidebar. It is one thing to inform the Minorities that I do not believe in diversity. It is another to waste my tax dollars, to attempt to bring a lawsuit to the supreme court, that has absolutely no merit at all.

So, to Michelle; I say thank you. Thank You for bringing up what I have been saying for a while now. Some people just need to accept the fact that a BLACK MAN is going to be our next President and get over it and MOVE ON!

Further more, let me bring up another factoid. Many of you may have heard about the ridiculous e-mail that has been forwarded around, that Obama was a Muslim, and then the one that he was not a true citizen. Do you know where those ridiculous e-mails originated from? No? Well, I will tell you. They originated from a White Nationalist Forum called “Stormfront.” (Google it… I dare not send those turkeys traffic)

How I did know this was the case? Way back when those e-mails first started circulating. I took the first paragraph and entered it into google, guess which site came up first in the results? That’s right, Stormfront. When I brought this to light on my old blog, which was originally called “The Populist”. Someone must have brought it to the attention of “Stormfront’s” Management, because not too long after that, the entry disappeared, interestingly, it disappeared from Google’s cache too.

The really sick and sad part is this. Some idiot wrote an Op-Ed over at the Conservative Voice, which has since merged with Townhall, he took most, if not all, of the information from this e-mail; without citing his source, of course, and wrote this long editorial stating that Obama was a Muslim and not a United States Citizen.

My point is this, people point the finger of accusation of why John McCain lost this election. The only people that those within the G.O.P. should be blaming; is themselves and their own base.

Do not misunderstand me; I dislike the idea of Barack Obama being the President just as much as anyone else.  But to delve into the arena of Conspiracy Theory and blatant stupidity does nothing to further the cause of Conservatism. It simply makes us look one way and one way only; Stupid!

Parents at the Nottingham school [Greenwood Junior School, send them mail]were told that the planned performance had to be pulled because some of the pupils wanted to celebrate Eid at home with their families.

In a letter, sent by the staff at Greenwood Junior School, mothers and fathers were told: ‘It is with much regret that we have had to cancel this year’s Christmas performances.”

You see why I do not embrace diversity? I say outlaw Islam and deport the bastards. Period!

Good Article on Michael Steele for G.O.P. Chair

I will simply add this. I am not in favor of Michael Steele for G.O.P. Chair. We were beaten by “That one”. The LAST thing that the G.O.P. needs is “One of those”, to run “That Party”.

In other words, let’s not build a party by pandering to African-Americans or any other minority. God knows, they would not appreciate it anyways. Look at the civil rights act, African-Americans still act like slavery and Segregation exists.

If we want to rebuild the G.O.P., we need to expel the Podhartz’s and the Kristol’s and the rest of the Neo-Conservative, Pro-War, Pro-Bush Doctrine, former Liberal Democrat types, tell them to go start their own party….and get back to the old Conservative roots.

A good Party chair would be Pat Buchanan or someone of his caliber. Not another idiot Neo-Conservative. Neo-Conservatism is why the G.O.P. is where it is today. You’d think that someone, somewhere in the G.O.P would have figured this out.

Anyway, just my thoughts on the subject.

Charlie Rangel’s Ethics

Between 2004 and 2007, Rep. Charles Rangel steered nearly $80,000 in campaign cash to an Internet company run by his son – paying lavishly for a pair of political Web sites so poorly designed an expert estimated one should have cost no more than $100 to create.

The payments are apparently legal under federal law, but their disclosure raises new questions about the Ways and Means chairman as he faces House ethics committee probes into his failure to pay taxes on rental income and his alleged use of House stationery to solicit contributions for a public policy center that bears his name.

Rangel’s leadership PAC and congressional committee shelled out $79,560 to Edisonian Innovative Works LLC for “websites,” according to Federal Election Commission filings.

Yes, but it is legal?

“This is probably legal but is definitely wrong,” said Meredith McGeehee of the Campaign Legal Center, a nonprofit organization that monitors compliance with electoral law.

“You’re in a situation where you were given money for a campaign and it’s being used to enrich family members,” she added. “The return argument is they’re performing legitimate services. The question that needs to be asked in this case is: Was this a legitimate payment or was this a payoff?”

Rangel spokesman Emile Milne said Rangel’s son was a valuable member of the congressman’s re-election team and was paid a modest monthly retainer to build, maintain, update and publicize the site.

“Steven Rangel’s firm was paid roughly $2,500 on a monthly basis—less than the firm that had previously managed Congressman Rangel’s Web and on-line operation (Network Politics)—and the firm’s fees included money for Web advertising designed to promote traffic to the Web site,” Milne wrote in an e-mail message to Politico.

You know. I am going to just say this. This Representative  is on the ways and means committee. He is supposed to be a man of integrity. It is become very obvious that this man has no integrity and should resign his position as the chairman of the ways and means committee.

Of course, when you say something like this about an African-American Representative you are automatically panned as a raaaaciiiist! So, do not expect much to become of this. Because when you are black politician, especially a black Liberal politican, rules do not matter. But you always have that race card to play.

A sick and disgusting thing indeed. 😡

If you want to blame someone, blame President Johnson, if he would have kept his nose outta the business of the south, Rangel would not be in the House and maybe they would be some integrity on capital hill!

Chris Matthews is dead serious about running for the Senate in Pennsylvania — and is shopping for a house in the state and privately discussing quitting MSNBC as proof of his intense interest, according to NBC colleagues, political operatives and friends.

Even so, some NBC insiders think it’s all simply a negotiating ploy to jack up his contract.

The garrulous host of the show “Hardball with Chris Matthews” has already picked out a home in Philadelphia to establish residency in the state, according to a Democratic operative in discussions with him about a potential candidacy. Over Thanksgiving weekend, at his vacation house in Nantucket, Matthews’ family members gave him their full backing.

As speculation surrounding his potential candidacy heats up, Matthews has also been asking advisers whether to step down from his MSNBC post well before his contract expires in June. At one recent meeting, he was advised that if he truly intends to run, he should resign from the network as soon as possible.
