Washington Post finally discovers that Government is too big

You mean they are just now figuring this out?:

The top-secret world the government created in response to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.

These are some of the findings of a two-year investigation by The Washington Post that discovered what amounts to an alternative geography of the United States, a Top Secret America hidden from public view and lacking in thorough oversight. After nine years of unprecedented spending and growth, the result is that the system put in place to keep the United States safe is so massive that its effectiveness is impossible to determine.

The investigation’s other findings include:

* Some 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies work on programs related to counterterrorism, homeland security and intelligence in about 10,000 locations across the United States.

* An estimated 854,000 people, nearly 1.5 times as many people as live in Washington, D.C., hold top-secret security clearances.

* In Washington and the surrounding area, 33 building complexes for top-secret intelligence work are under construction or have been built since September 2001. Together they occupy the equivalent of almost three Pentagons or 22 U.S. Capitol buildings – about 17 million square feet of space.

* Many security and intelligence agencies do the same work, creating redundancy and waste. For example, 51 federal organizations and military commands, operating in 15 U.S. cities, track the flow of money to and from terrorist networks.

* Analysts who make sense of documents and conversations obtained by foreign and domestic spying share their judgment by publishing 50,000 intelligence reports each year – a volume so large that many are routinely ignored.

These are not academic issues; lack of focus, not lack of resources, was at the heart of the Fort Hood shooting that left 13 dead, as well as the Christmas Day bomb attempt thwarted not by the thousands of analysts employed to find lone terrorists but by an alert airline passenger who saw smoke coming from his seatmate.

They are also issues that greatly concern some of the people in charge of the nation’s security.

“There has been so much growth since 9/11 that getting your arms around that – not just for the DNI [Director of National Intelligence], but for any individual, for the director of the CIA, for the secretary of defense – is a challenge,” Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said in an interview with The Post last week.

What gets me is this; these guys are just now bringing this story out. How come they did not do it sooner? You want to know why? It is because WaPo is suffering; their publication numbers are down, because they have been being the Democratic Party’s publication arm and now they are suffering. So, they figure they would take on big Government. Nice. But is not ironic that the same people that basically did the “Hosanna” song for President Barack Obama, a big Government Advocate; and now they are suddenly worried about the aspect of a “big, scary, secret Government?” The irony is not lost on this Blogger.

Mark Williams whines about getting the boot

Whiny assed bastard….:

Apparently I have offended the tea party “leadership.”

Mind you, there is no tea party leadership; every tea partier is a tea party leader. But something happens when the stronger egos and personalities in a movement begin to feel a sense of ownership. It is not long before they act to claim and defend that feeling.

Project12An example of that happened today. And it is a crying shame. We are fighting for the future of not just this nation but for the future of Mankind. That’s just a little more important than my fat head, or the apparently even fatter head on Face the Nation Today who misrepresented himself as the tea party “leader”

via Tea Party Federation outburst sets us all back « MarkTalk.com News & Commentary.

Nice try at spin and denial Mark. You are a racist bigot and you were exposed. Deal with it and move on. Head on over and listen to his whining.

Finally: Tea Party Federation kicks Mark Williams and the Tea Party Express out of the movement

A HUGE Kudos to the Tea Party Federation for doing this:

The National Tea Party Federation, an organization that represents the Tea Party political movement around the country, has expelled conservative commentator Mark Williams and his Tea Party Express because of an inflammatory blog post he wrote, federation spokesman David Webb said Sunday.

Appearing on the CBS program “Face the Nation,” Webb said that Williams and the Tea Party Express — which has held a series of events across the country to generate support for the movement — no longer were part of the National Tea Party Federation.

via Tea Party Federation kicks out Williams over blog post – CNN.com.

The Press Release is here:

Effective Immediately, Tea Party Express Is No Longer a Member

of the National Tea Party Federation

Date: Sat, 17 Jul 2010 at 3:43pm

Last night, the members of the National Tea Party Federation participating in an “All Hands” conference call unanimously decided the following:

The membership of the National Tea Party Federation has this evening suspended and will immediately expel Tea Party Express from any further association with the Federation should they fail to publicly rebuke Mark Williams and remove him from their ranks by 3 pm eastern time Saturday July 17.

The rebuke must take the following form:

1. Mark Williams must be officially removed from the ranks of the Tea Party Express.

2. Notice of Mark Williams’ removal must be placed prominently on the official Tea Party Express website.

3. Tea Party Express must issue a press release articulating points 1 and 2 above.

* * *

Last night, a member of the National Tea Party Federation communicated our decision directly to a member of the leadership team of Tea Party Express. That leader’s response was clear: they have no intention of taking the action we required for their group to continue as a member of the National Tea Party Federation.

Therefore, effective immediately the National Tea Party Federation is expelling Tea Party Express from the ranks of our membership.

Of course, some bloggers, including one that I will never link to directly is bringing up the fact that the word “Racism” is not used in the press release. Which is pretty ironic, considering the fact that he is a known stalker and slanderer himself. Anyhow, this was a very good move on the part of the National Tea Party Federation; as racism, whether nuanced or outright, just should not be tolerated at all, by anyone or any side of the political debate.

A personal note to Mark Williams: Hey, idiot! You hate black people? Then take your idiotic ass over the Democratic Party where you belong sir. You are NOT one of us!  I am sure the Klan or Stormfront.org will welcome you with open arms. Because you know what? You possess the same moronic mentality that those mental midgets possess. I think Mark Williams and Craig Bodeker ought to get together and compare notes; because God knows, they are two peas out of the same pot — that should be shunned and ignored. Along with the rest of the damn crackpots; like Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul and the rest of the Anti-Semites and racists that are still left over from the Paleo-Conservative era.

Editorial: Racial Stupidity on both sides of the political fence

I have been trying to avoid having to write an article like this; but I must.  It seems that race and racism has become the common topic in the conversation of politics as of late; and both sides have been exploiting the topic in horrible ways.  This is not to say that there are not true, bona fide racists out there; there are, as I have pointed out in the past.  Contrary to what some more partisan bloggers might believe, there are racists in both camps; black and white.

First up, is on the black liberal side of the fence.  An article that I happened to see posted over at Gateway Pundit Blog; some opinion person, by the name of Courtland Milloy writes this over at the Washington Post, I will quote just a portion of it:

White: A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East or North Africa.

– Racial definition from the U.S. Census Bureau

With all the talk lately about “white vote,” I thought it would be helpful to know what a white person is. As the census definition makes clear, who knows? It’s a biological fiction, a figment of the pigment beneath which all human beings are the same.

And yet, with midterm elections just a few months away, the so-called white vote looms large, an angry and vindictive political force. A Washington Post/ABC News poll released Tuesday showed that President Obama’s approval ratings have reached “a new low among whites, at 40 percent, with his positive marks dipping under 50 percent for the first time among white college-educated women.”

Does race have anything to do with it? You betcha.

…To hear whites tell it, what really bothers them is a growing federal government that they fear will intervene in their lives — unless there’s an oil spill along the Gulf Coast, of course, in which case their complaint is too little intervention. Budget deficits are a worry, too, unless it’s George Bush running up the red ink.

…Whites, for instance, are overwhelmingly in favor of Arizona’s immigration law, according to most polls. And virtually none of the surveys has shown any concern for the rights of nonwhite Hispanics who would be subject to racial profiling and illegal search and seizures. These are the same people who like to wave copies of the U.S. Constitution and claim Obama is curtailing their freedoms.

“The differences between whites and nonwhites on [the Arizona immigration law] are very stark,” Matthew Kerbel, a political scientist at Villanova University, told the Christian Science Monitor. “The numbers seem to reflect that among white American voters, there is something that needs to be done about illegal immigration and that the Arizona law addresses that. But among blacks and Hispanics, the law is viewed as a strong form of racial profiling, and so there is strong sentiment against it.”

Amazing, really, how people from German, Irish, English, Italian, Polish, French, Welsh, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian and Russian backgrounds can land on American shores and coalesce around a racial category concocted solely to exploit others.

You do not think that he is just a little bit bigoted towards white people do you?

Sad thing is, it is not, contrary to what some more partisan bloggers might want to report; limited to just black liberals.  The racist mentality can be found on the so-called “Right,” amongst some whites as well.  Just yesterday, I removed someone as a friend and blocked someone on facebook for referring to President Barack Obama as “Oboingo” or something to that effect.  To be clear here, I dislike socialism and President Barack Obama’s polices as much as the next “Right of Center” person does.  However, when you use terms like that, to describe the President, you lose any sort of legitimacy that you might have.  Those sorts of “nick names” are just rooted in racism.

Another little gem that I stumbled across this morning was a link posted on facebook to this video here, along with the following message:

Will You Recognize a Real Threat, Even if You Get Called ‘Racist’ For Doing So?

To which I replied, and I apologize for the language, as I was a bit angry:

I do believe this is where I get off the bus. You think White people cannot be gangsta? Shit. I’ll show you some. I grew up in Southwest Detroit and I know white people with the same fucking mentality. Craig, You’re nothing more than a fucking racist. I can’t deal with that man.  See ya.

-Pat

With that, I went ahead and removed myself from people that liked that page on facebook.  You see, I thought that the man that made that video was an honest broker; turns out, he is no better than the man that wrote the article above. He is, in fact, just another bigot trying to stir the pot.  However, the real kicker is this little reply from one of his friends:

“grew up in Southwest Detroit and I know white people with the same fucking mentality.”
hmmmm, now I wonder if black culture could have, I don’t know…influenced those young white men? Antiracism is just code for antiwhite..

One would only have to change a few words around and he would sound just like Al Sharpton.  Bigotry is bigotry, and it is wrong; not matter if it is black against white or white against black.  It is still wrong and it is still narrow-minded and extremely stupid. Now is it fair to say that the Democratic Party enables the bigotry on the left?  Absolutely!  Just as it is fair to say that there are Conservatives and yes, some Republicans who, in fact, wink and nod at the bigots on the right.

The bottom line is this; as long as there are these outliers around who want to continue and stir up hatred and fear of the races on both sides of the political and racial aisles, we will have to contend with this sort of nonsense.  What is the solution?  The solution is to stop giving these outliers a platform, ignore them, and learn to trust each other, instead of capitalizing on fear and exploiting it.  But then again; if we did do that, people like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Craig Bodeker would be out of a job — and that my friends would be the best thing ever.

Um, Tucker?

Man, I hate it when people spew, when they don’t know what they’re talking about….:

I’ve heard a lot from MSNBC, from friends of mine who work there who despise Keith. I’ve always had kind of a soft spot for Keith because I feel sorry for him because of his various phobias. He won’t drive a car. He’s obviously a sad guy, in elastic-band jeans

via Tucker Carlson On Keith Olbermann: ‘The Most Disliked Person At MSNBC’ | Mediaite.

Geeez…. Um, Tucker? Keith Olbermann does not drive a car; because he has a vision problem. It was brought on, because he accidentally bashed his head into a subway door; almost knocking him unconscious.  So, he has a problem with depth perception.

I mean, far from it for me to be defending the Ed Marrow wanna-be, with a big head; but the crack about driving a car, is just uncalled for. The man has a disability that was brought on by an injury. So, please, let’s keep the bashing on a non-personal level.

This one hit me personally. Here’s why. I have A.D.H.D. I was born with it. Whenever someone makes a crass joke about A.D.D…. it bothers me. Because of this; I just believe that making comments of this nature are just uncalled for.

I hope, in the name of decency; that Tucker does apologize publicly on his site.

I will be sending this to Tucker.

Good: Jihad enabling lawyer gets 10 years

For once, it seems that the justice system is doing it’s job; for a change.

Lynne Stewart - Terrorist Enabling Swine

NEW YORK — A 70-year-old civil rights lawyer was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison in a terrorism case by a judge who boosted her original sentence by nearly eight years after concluding she lied to a jury and lacked remorse.

“I’m somewhat stunned,” Lynne Stewart told U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl after he announced the sentence for her conviction for letting a jailed Egyptian sheik communicate with his radical followers despite restrictions in place to prevent it.

The sentence, nearly four times longer than the two-year, four-month sentence she originally received in 2006, left Stewart sobbing in her prison uniform after Koeltl described his reasons for increasing the prison time significantly.

An appeals court had ordered a new sentencing, saying the terrorism component of the case needed to be considered, along with whether she committed perjury at her trial. The court said it had “serious doubts” whether her original sentence was reasonable.

The judge said public comments Stewart made after her first sentencing showed him that the “original sentence was not sufficient.”

He said she showed “a lack of remorse for conduct that was both illegal and potentially lethal.”

via The Associated Press: NY lawyer gets 10-year term in terrorism case.

The bottom line is this; this woman decided to side with those intent on committing terrorism in the name of Islam. She allowed her personal politics to interfere with her job; and for that she is going to prison. This is a good thing and it is my hope that she does her entire sentence. Terrorism is an evil thing and those who aid it should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

The most sane thing I have read about the DOJ Black Panther Case yet

It comes from none other than Rick Moran over at Right Wing NutHouse:

I don’t for a minute believe Holder and Obama are racists. I believe they are politically correct jackasses who sought to bestow a political gift on a favored constituency. For those – including Boehlert – who believe that this issue was small potatoes, perhaps they might explain the furious activity surrounding it from both the White House and the Department of Justice. This timeline of White House involvement and NAACP lobbying on behalf of the Panthers pretty much destroys the idea that there was a legitimate reason to drop the civil suit. It was politics, pure and simple. And having spent the 2008 campaign rightly railing against the politicization of the Bush justice department, Obama and Holder could hardly be expected to admit to doing the same.

This doesn’t excuse Limbaugh or Beck from making their jaw dropping claims about Obama sticking it to white people or that the president is trying to foment a race war. But are those comments ignorant, stupid, irrational, and paranoid? Or are they racist?

You simply can’t automatically identify political speech you disagree with as racist like Boehlert does in his ridiculously exaggerated screed. Of course it’s bonkers to believe that Obama wants a race war, or that he’s out for payback against whites for slavery. But why is that necessarily a racist comment? What makes it racist, specifically? If it were racist based on the fact that it’s nutty and dead wrong, that encompasses a lot of territory. And ascribing racist attitudes based solely on the fact that the president is black just doesn’t cut it unless you want to drastically demean and lower the bar for what constitutes racism in political speech. Using that formula, all opposition speech against the president should be dismissed as racist – an outcome no doubt devoutly wished for by Obama partisans but nonsense on its face.

Go read the rest… It is very good.

This idiot ought to be ran out of the Tea Party movement and out of the Conservative movement on a rail

I do truly hope that this racist tool dies in a damn house fire!

This comes Via The Reid Report, so called Tea Party leader Mark Williams writes this bunch of bile on his blog:

Dear Mr. Lincoln

We Colored People have taken a vote and decided that we don’t cotton to that whole emancipation thing.  Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards.  That is just far too much to ask of us Colored People and we demand that it stop!

In fact we held a big meeting and took a vote in Kansas City this week.  We voted to condemn a political revival of that old abolitionist spirit called the ‘tea party movement’.

The tea party position to “end the bailouts” for example is just silly.  Bailouts are just big money welfare and isn’t that what we want all Colored People to strive for? What kind of racist would want to end big money welfare?  What they need to do is start handing the bail outs directly to us Colored People! Of course, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is the only responsible party that should be granted the right to disperse the funds.

And the ridiculous idea of “reduce[ing] the size and intrusiveness of government.”  What kind of world would we have is I  ever  to control and be responsible for my life own?  As Colored People we must have somebody care for us otherwise we would be on our own, have to think for ourselves and make decisions and if you do not agree than there is not enough Colored in your People, as we labeled Ken Gladney [source]

The racist tea parties also demand that the government “stop the out of control spending.”  Again, they directly target Colored People. That means we Colored People would have to compete for jobs like everybody else and that is just not right.

Perhaps the most racist point of all in the tea parties is their demand that government “stop raising our taxes.”  That is outrageous!    Totally racist!  The tea party expects Colored People to be productive members of society, especially when our mission is to convince them that progress is impossible for them based on the color of their skin?

Mr. Lincoln, you were the greatest racist ever.  We had a great gig.  Three squares, room and board, all our decisions made by someone else.  Please repeal the 13th and 14th Amendments and let us get back to where we say that belong.

Sincerely

Ben Jealous, Tom’s Nephew  National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Head Colored Person

It seems that he edited out a very offensive part, it originally read:

Perhaps the most racist point of all in the tea parties is their demand that government “stop raising our taxes.” That is outrageous! How will we coloreds ever get a wide screen TV in every room if non-coloreds get to keep what they earn? Totally racist! The tea party expects coloreds to be productive members of society?

Like I said, I hope this racist bastard dies in a damn fire. He should NOT be spokesperson or leader of ANY Tea Party group at all! He must go. 😡

Video: Zo on Examining Black Loyalty to Democrats

I know, I said that I was not going to carry this guy’s video anymore. But I think he more than made up for that little silly remark with this video…

Video: Uncommon Knowledge — The United States and the Middle East with Fouad Ajami

Disclaimer: I do not necessarily agree with all of the ideas presented here. But I present them for education. Watch and Make your own decisions.

Updated: Honestly, What do they expect?

It seems that Communist owned and controlled Blog, Think Progress is full of crap, as usual…  posted a video showing some of the more undesirable elements of the Tea Party Movement Update: Turns out, most of the stuff in this video is straight up bogus… But my point below still stands:

Quite honestly, I must ask, what in the hell do these people expect? When a black President, of whom country of birth is questionable at best; is elected and proceeds to push all sorts of idiotic legislation unto an American people, who quite frankly, do not want it. What do these idiotic fools expect?  I mean, you can only push people, especially white people, like myself so far; and then they are going to react. Then you have the NAACP coming out and calling them all racists, because they disagree with the President’s policies? I mean, what do they expect?

I mean, if anything, the Progressives in this Country had better be happy that the majority of the White Conservatives in this Country still have faith in the ballot box. Because the alternative to that, is not something that I want to even remotely expound upon — much less think about. Because quite frankly, Americans; not just white Americans, are angry and when Americans get angry, things happen. I just hope that the happening, happens at the ballot box come November of 2010 and hopefully 2012 as well; and nowhere else.

Further more, considering all of the ugliness of the 2000 elections and during the 2004 elections; not to mention during the height of the Iraq War. I find it absolutely laughable that the progressives are now acting as the moral guide in this Country. Not to mention the calling of anyone who opposes the President and happens to be black, being called an “Uncle Tom” and “Not black enough” and so on. It is truly revolting to watch the left’s hypocrisy when it comes to this issue. I mean, look at Senator Robert Byrd, he lead the biggest filibuster of the civil rights act! But yet, the progressives and the Democrats want to be the ones to lecture the American people on race and civil rights. It is truly funny.

The Bottom Line is this: While the stuff in the video above is horrible. It is not what the Tea Party, as a whole stands for. Anyone that say that; is of a collectivist mindset and is most likely a liberal. Further more, how the Democratic Party and the Progressive movement, considering their history; cannot be the one to be a moral guide in this Country, when it comes to race and other issues at all.

Update: Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… Looks like Confederate Yankee has, once again, caught Liberals being dishonest….. SHOCKA! 😉 Thank GOD for Scheduled posts! 😀

Update #2: Think Progress getting caught now tries to private the video… Heh… good luck, you’re already busted.

Update #3: Right Klick flushes out more of the B.S. that Think Progress is known for — LIES.

First go read John Stagliano’s Obscenity Trial.

Now, check out this video that comes via Reason: (Mild Content Warning!)

Basically this whole thing boils down to this; you either are on the side of the Religious Right that says any form of Porno is morally wrong, or you side with the libertarians that believe that Obscenity, or in this case, Porn; is protected by the First Amendment.  Hence the clash between your Libertarian Conservatives and your Christian Religious Right, which are, for the most part, Republican.

Cool: Beavis and Butthead to return to TV

(H/T HotAir Headlines)

The NY Post Reports:

‘Beavis and Butt-head” — the show that celebrated the slacker way of life and helped make MTV into a network that did more than just play music videos — is coming back.

The move to resurrect the hugely popular 1990s animated anti-heroes has been rumored for several days. But yesterday, sources at MTV confirmed that a new batch of “Beavis and Butt-head” episodes are in the works.

The new series would keep Beavis and Butt-head in their perpetual high-school state, but it would be updated so that the pals — who obsessively watch music videos on a battered TV set — could lob their snarky comments at more current targets like Lady Gaga.

To which I say, the first time this series makes an off color joke about Lady Ga-Ga or President Obama or something like that; it will be canceled. The reason why B & B were canceled before, was:
  1. Pressure from Parent Groups who claimed the show was making their kids want to burn houses down. Which in itself is quite stupid; because if you stupid kid burns down your house, because he watches something on TV —he has bigger issues than just Beavis and Butthead.
  2. Because by the time MTV pulled the series; it had become incredibly lame. I mean, there is just so much of that sort of stupidity that you can come up with. I mean, “This Sucks” only has so much mileage.

I also have an opinion as to why Beavis and Butthead might not work in this day and age on MTV. Back in the Mid-1990’s, MTV was still playing rock music. Beavis and Butthead were a fictional and much over the top depiction of your typical suburbanite white kid, who listened to metal music. Kids liked the show, because they saw a themselves in the show; albeit in a humorous manner.  Today, MTV mostly plays Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B Music; Beavis and Butthead are going to be sorely out of place on the modern day MTV. I mean, it might work somehow; but I just do not see that show having a huge audience, especially in prime time hours.

So, while the show was cool, back in the day. Context as to why the show was very popular is also very important.

Having said all that, this is just too funny….: Click here for the video

Cool.

Hear, Hear

Yes, I, for one, am glad this stupid thing was removed:

The World's stupidest Billboard ever.....

Smitty over at the Other McCain writes:

There is copious room for dissent and disagreement. But BHO is merely the nadir of a century long descent from a Federalist government featuring separation of powers toward a lesser state where the capitol, not capital, is king.

The Godwin’s Law violations, which I had previously seen only undertaken by LaRouchies, actually help BHO by painting him a victim. So focus on policy, and cut out the cheap shots. Or at least go for the esoteric literary shots.

Heh, leave it to Smitty to nicely word a rather ugly situation. But let me be blunt; it is, after all, what I do and damned well too, if I may be so forward.

Look here, Obama might be a socialist, Obama might be a far lefty; posting as a centrist — he might just be all that and then some. But the last time I checked; he has not sent a boatload of Jews to be sent off to the slaughter. Further more, he has not rounded up any Conservatives and sent them to the damn gulags….yet!

So, as the idiotic old windbag Chris Matthews once very artfully put in a commentary of his; Let’s all back away from the stupid Nazi and/or Communist horseshit for a while, okay? I mean, let’s criticize Socialism, for what it is, bad policy, but let’s lay off the stupid stuff; because it does not do a damn thing for our side!

That is all…

Liberal Idiot Talker Bill Press: Obama’s poll numbers are falling because of “Spoiled Americans”

Un-Farking-Believable!

This comes via The Radio Equalizer:

My friend and excellent blogger Mitch Berg over at Shot in the Dark, lays the smack down on Bill Press:

Bill Press:  Get a grip.

You think Ronald Reagan got carried to success on the shoulders of the entire American people right after his election; the media certainly sniped at him nonstep (then as now).

And yet he succeeded (not that you can tell that to people like Bill Press).

Competence helps.

Amen and Amen. The only person to blame for Obama’s piss poor poll numbers is his own damned self. I mean, the man outright LIED about Abortion not being in the Healthcare bill! What the hell does President Bambi Teleprompter expect? This is just a classic case of denial and spin by the left to deflect blame away from the fact that Barack Obama’s popularity is just not what it was, when he was elected. Plain and simple. The man did not deliver on anything, The Economy and Jobs, his handling of domestic terror threats, his handling of the oil spill; everything. The man just is not a leader, he is an intellectual and people want leadership; plain and simple.

Update: Once again, Ed Morrissey is spot on:

We’re spoiled? If Bill Press’ argument holds water, then who spoiled us? If the answer is George W. Bush, then perhaps that means that liberals will shortly revise their estimations of his presidency as the last Golden Age … right?

[…]

It comes as no shock to hear a liberal talk about the American public as “children” who need scolding. (It also doesn’t come as a shock to see that Bill Press doesn’t check the data on jobs before declaring that Obama has rescued them.) That’s the entire mindset of liberalism — that the masses can’t make their own decisions and need a cadre of elites to do it for them.

[…]

Expect to see more of the “ungovernable” argument as Obama continues to flop. We’ll hear it as an excuse for ever-increasing executive authority; we’ve already seen public paeans to authoritarian regimes by liberals like Thomas Friedman and Woody Allen, and we’ll likely see a lot more if the Republicans take control of the House in the fall.

I have to admit; I have not always agreed with Ed in the past, but he is spot farking on right here. That is the real sad part. Liberalism; back in the days of classic liberalism, was all about personal freedom and choice, before the big Government socialists took the liberal movement over. Now, it is all about nanny-state’ism and big Government; and when the American people reject that or reject the policies and performance of those big Government types, the elitists among the nanny state crowd accuse the common man of being spoiled and ungovernable. This is what always kills the Democratic Party’s chances of being reelected. They overreach and when they fail in that overreach; The Liberal Democrats will scowl and deride those who criticize them or reject their style of Government. This is one of the flaws of Big Government and socialism; it is made up of an elite class of overlords, that look down upon the common man and try to think for them; when those people reject their thinking, they scorn them. It has been that way for years and that is why Republicans always come to rescue and allow people to think for themselves.

Surprise: Obama Administration Approves First Tax-Payer Funded Abortions

Remember when President Obama said this?:

Just another liberal lie…. How do I know this?

Because Lifenews.com, reports:

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — The Obama administration has officially approved the first instance of taxpayer funded abortions under the new national government-run health care program. This is the kind of abortion funding the pro-life movement warned about when Congress considered the bill.

The Obama Administration will give Pennsylvania $160 million to set up a new “high-risk” insurance program under a provision of the federal health care legislation enacted in March.

It has quietly approved a plan submitted by an appointee of pro-abortion Governor Edward Rendell under which the new program will cover any abortion that is legal in Pennsylvania.

The high-risk pool program is one of the new programs created by the sweeping health care legislation, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, President Obama signed into law on March 23. The law authorizes $5 billion in federal funds for the program, which will cover as many as 400,000 people when it is implemented nationwide.

But of course, Liberals never tell the truth; they tell you what you want to hear. Then, when they think no one is paying attention; they do things like this.

I wonder if Stupac is proud of himself now?

Obama’s Poll Numbers Continue to drop

This is not too surprising considering his handling of the economy and the Oil Spill, and so on…:

Washington Post Reports:

Public confidence in President Obama has hit a new low, according to the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll. Four months before midterm elections that will define the second half of his term, nearly six in 10 voters say they lack faith in the president to make the right decisions for the country, and a clear majority once again disapproves of how he is dealing with the economy.

Regard for Obama is still higher than it is for members of Congress, but the gap has narrowed. About seven in 10 registered voters say they lack confidence in Democratic lawmakers and a similar proportion say so of Republican lawmakers.

Overall, more than a third of voters polled — 36 percent — say they have no confidence or only some confidence in the president, congressional Democrats and congressional Republicans. Among independents, this disillusionment is higher still. About two-thirds of all voters say they are dissatisfied with or angry about the way the federal government is working.

Such broad negative sentiments have spurred a potent anti-incumbent mood. Just 26 percent of registered voters say they are inclined to support their representative in the House this fall; 62 percent are inclined to look for someone new.

The reason for this is because of the Democrats blatant tone deafness regarding the economy and jobs. Instead they pursued and passed a health care bill, that NOBODY wanted. Meanwhile, people like me, sit without a job. Of course, because I am not a vet or a minority. I will sit at the back of the jobs lines for a long time to come.

Bill O’Reilly and Sarah Palin Holler at each other about illegal immigration

The Video:

The Daily Caller reports:

When former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin signed a contract in January to become a regular guest on Fox News, many of her critics said it was part of a strategy by the Republican to avoid tough or skeptical questions and engage only with friendly members of the media.

But Bill O’Reilly appears to have missed that memo.

The larger-than-life Fox News host with the top rated cable news show on TV has a history of challenging Palin. “You don’t have that much experience,” he told the former governor last fall, though he has also defended her performance as governor.

But Palin’s two most recent appearances on “The O’Reilly Factor” have drawn notice for the unusually testy exchanges between the TV titan and the most famous conservative political figure in America. And according to one source with firsthand knowledge of Palin’s feelings on the matter, she is not happy about it.

This past Friday, O’Reilly interrupted Palin numerous times and pushed her to give an answer on how she would solve the nation’s immigration problem after securing the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Well, again, first let me go back to the importance of securing the border,” Palin said.

“No, no, but we got that, we got that governor,” O’Reilly interjected.

“Mm mm, no we don’t,” Palin countered.

“Yeah, the people watching this program have it. We have it. We assume that you as president would secure the border,” O’Reilly said. “But now you have to look inward, and you’ve got 12 million people staring at you. What are you going to have them do?”

Palin talked generally about not giving illegal immigrants a “free pass” and said, “We’re not going to reward the bad behavior.” She even, when asked what to do with immigrants who don’t register with the government, responded: “You deport ‘em.”

But when O’Reilly pressed her to outline what to do with those who do register for normalization, Palin was either unable or unwilling to answer the question: “Bill, it makes me uncomfortable that we’re even going down that path so far when—”

“You have to go,” O’Reilly interrupted. “You have to go down that path because it’s going to come up.”

“This is where it gets very complicated governor,” O’Reilly said to Palin, who wore an expression that could be described as irritated or bemused.

There is one word here; ratings. This is why Bill O. does what he does. Not only this, Bill O’Reilly is not a Republican; he is quite the independent and he is not going to give Palin a free pass.

It seems some of Palin’s people are not happy about it:

But a website with a close association to Palin – Conservatives4Palin.com – lashed out at O’Reilly.

“Mr. O’Reilly prides himself on being fair and balanced. O’Reilly regularly proclaims that when he interviews Governor Palin he’ll be fair without asking her gotcha questions. Well, on Friday night O’Reilly broke his own rule,” said the website.

“Had O’Reilly stopped interrupting her and allowed her to answer his question we would actually have heard what she had to say. Twice the Governor begun explaining her position and O’Reilly rudely interrupted her,” said a post author at Conservatives4Palin named Sheya. “To Bill O’Reilly: Can you PLEASE let Governor Palin finish her sentences so you actually get the ANSWER to your questions. You know, you may learn something in the process.”

Let me give the Palin-bots a real quick lesson in real life. Not everyone is going to suck up to Sarah Palin and if Sarah Palin cannot handle Bill O’Reilly; then how is she going to handle dealing the issues facing America?
Not everyone feels that way though:
A veteran Republican operative, however, said the O’Reilly sessions are good for Palin.
“Bill and Palin make for good TV. He gives her a run for her money and she feels free to give it right back to him,” the GOP official said. “The dynamic is a good one for the network, and it also helps stretch her on policy questions she would not otherwise feel obliged to answer.”
Again, I say: Ratings.

Malik Shabazz proves to everyone that Black Nationalists and Supremacists are dangerous

This comes via HotAir.com’s resident Candy-Assed, Nancy Boy who’s back from his weeks vacation. 😉

A few words about this guy before I embed the video. I consider these idiots to be just as dangerous, if not worse; than say White Nationalists and White Supremacists. That is because their modus operandi is not, contrary to what they might tell you; any sort of racial purity or advancement for the black race. Their modus operandi is just straight up hate and violence towards white people. Because in their minds, the violence is justified against white people, because of the fact that white people did, in fact, bring black criminals from Africa to be slaves in America. To these people, that justifies any killings or other sort of violence committed by them.

Put another way, if reactionary politics is coffee; these guys are the grounds themselves.

Another thing I will say; Geraldo deserves at least a little credit for not going nuclear on this idiot and chasing him out his studio. I watched this clip at about 5:30 or so this morning; and I will tell you, I was close to throwing stuff at the T.V. quite a few times. I think Geraldo also deserves credit for pointing out the fact that these guys are nothing more than holdovers from the angry 1960’s and that America has quite evolved from that era and for pointing out the fact that their brand of hate is a ticket to nowhere.

Exit Question: What is the different between what First Lady Michelle Obama said and what Malik Shabazz said?

First Lady Michelle Obama: America Still Unequal

This comes BreitBart.TV with a H/T to Riehl World View:

Yeah, she is going to keep fighting alright; fighting for the handouts to the lazy ass idiots who would rather get a handout, instead of getting a job and being a productive part of society. Her and her socialist twit hubby, would rather give handouts to their people; than get America back to work.

Also, she makes reference to “Her people”, yeah, the people who were brought to America as damned criminals. Criminals who were freed by a Republican named Abraham Lincoln — against the wishes of the people of the South. A freeing that also destroyed the economy of the South. A people who in 1964, by an unconstitutional act of Congress, were integrated in the south; again, against the will and wishes of the southern people.

…But yet, they are still not free. 🙄

Someone needs to tell Mrs. Bambi Bitch Teleprompter to get over it and that the slaves were freed and her people are free to roam the south as they wish.

Surprise: Voter Fraud involving felons in Al Franken election in MN

Considering this little accusation here; should this be any sort of a shock to anyone?:

The six-month election recount that turned former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota’s Twin Cities.

That’s the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes — fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority’s newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

Furthermore, the report charges that efforts to get state and federal authorities to act on its findings have been “stonewalled.”

Mel Gibson really puts on the toon looney

(H/T HotAir)

Remember when I wrote about this dude before? Well, you think that was bad? Dig this new stuff, click the pic to head over and listen to it:

Click the pic to listen to the crazy!

I hate to sound like a bigot; but you know what my feelings are? Basically this: Eh, serves him right for taking the true account of the Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ and making it into a Roman Catholic Church propaganda movie. Yes, I saw the “Passion” and I know what was in it. Pure Roman Catholic propaganda crap. I say that as a Fundamentalist Baptist and proud Protestant Christian. (although most Fundy Baptists don’t consider themselves Protestants.)

As I said before, stick a fork in him. He is done — and that my friends, might just be a good thing.

Updated: Movie: We will not be silenced

This movie made by Gigi Gaston documents the voter fraud that took place during the election primaries in 2008.

The accusations in this video, if proven, could prove to be deadly for the Obama Administration. It is my personal hope, that if the Republicans take back both houses of Congress in 2010; that a full investigation is started by the Senate. Now, I highly doubt that this would happen; but I can hope.

What you are about to watch will most likely shock you.

We will not be silenced 2008’s official website.

Update: Ed Morrissey, as always, brings some perspective:

The allegations appear to be entirely confined to caucus states, which is one of the reasons I’m skeptical. Caucuses are bare-knuckled brawls where the parties make the rules and the campaigns routinely and viciously fight over them. I have no trouble believing that Team Obama played hardball and cut as many corners as they could without getting caught. What I have trouble believing is that Hillary Clinton wasn’t doing the exact same thing in these states. After all, Hillary was hardly a babe in the woods. The Clinton Machine had been fighting these battles since Obama was in high school. Now we’re suddenly to believe that they were manning the Good Ship Lollipop in 2008 and were shocked, shocked to find that caucuses aren’t played by Marquess de Queensbury rules?

This is one of the reasons that I believe primaries are usually a better way to select nominees, especially for higher offices. They’re not impervious to fraud and abuse, but it’s a more level ground, and the stakes for committing malfeasance are at least somewhat higher than in caucuses.
