The Scott Brown Surge
(H/T Insty)

A REPORT FROM THE SCOTT BROWN RALLY AT WORCESTER: “It’s an absolute mob scene. The police have closed off the streets. It’s mind blowing. The hall is already full, and it holds 3,000 people. There may be another 1,000 people outside.”
Meanwhile, reader Sean Fitzpatrick writes: “Pictures don’t do justice. Nothing like this in Mass since JFK. Worcester rally starts in thirty minutes and the streets are already packed.” Here’s a pic.

Meanwhile, Coakley can’t even fill a hall:
Wow… Just wow… The political winds are changing… It is truly an amazing thing to watch. 😀
Gun Blogger loses his job, could use some help
Normally, I would not care; but this is for someone who believes in the Second Amendment and I believe in that whole “What goes around, comes around” and “Reaping and Sowing” thing. Plus, there’s nothing like good JuJu.. so… Let’s help.
Apparently, this guy has a Gun Holster Business:
Then, there’s holsters and other things. Folks, currently my holster business is about my only business. If you want a really nice, full-custom holster quick; well, now would be the time to place your order. If I can take orders for about six holsters, I don’t have to go to work in ten days. My brother and I have mused for years of opening a custom shop, specializing in ultra high-end guitar equipment, home audio, and furnishings. Currently, we’ve got a personal project going with an analog 7.1-surround switcher in stainless steel and English Yew. I’d love to make my money building tube amps and the wildest couches and coffee tables that you’ve ever seen. This does not by any means exclude the holster business. There is certainly a place for that in my future.
So, if you have a 6 shooter or something in that department, give this guy a ring dingy and let him make you a holster.
I mean, it’s one thing to be a fat assed unemployed idiot like me, who’s living with his Mommy and Daddy and gets three squares a day and has a roof over his head. But when you are out there in the wild, with no safety net, it is a whole other ballgame. So, get on over there and help this dude out.
Hat Tip and thanks to Say Uncle, who happens to be one the better gun Bloggers out there.
More info on the Tennessee Tea Party Ruse
Dr. Melissa Clouthie Reports, go read.
I believe that every true Conservative and Tea Party supporter, not to mention every Sarah Palin fan should AVOID this Convention like the plague. One of my readers said that this changes nothing. I disagree; this guy lied his ass off, and has kicked people out of his group, that simply disagreed with his tactics. It changes everything. Someone needs to let Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin know about this nonsense, so that she can cancel her appearance.
Let Judson Phillips pound sand. He is a deceiver is the highest regard.
Quotable Quotes:
Tami Killmarx said that she heard Phillips say more than once, “I want to make a million from this movement.
[…]
He continued,”I think Judson is a good guy. He’s trying to do the right thing in the wrong way. We need to do it where everyone can get involved. Most of the people are like me, and just want to bring the country back to the people and to the constitution.”
Williams said that he resigned because he didn’t want to be a part of something that “leaves people out.”
[…]
When Judson Phillips suggested the $550 convention fee, some members were so aghast they got up and left the meeting.
At one point, fisticuffs nearly broke out, emotions ran so high. Those who had been in the bottom-up organization felt betrayed because the event excluded so many average people and many of the volunteers themselves couldn’t even afford to attend. Philips and his few supporters saw an opportunity to make money.
This meeting prompted many long-time Tea Party members to quit.
[…]
Killmarx expressed sadness about not getting to see Sarah Palin after volunteering and giving her own money to fund early Nashville Tea Party events.
“I believe in Sarah Palin. I believe in her and she’s a good woman. She’s being deceived like the rest of us.”
Spread the Word, shut this bastard down.

This is such a heartbreaking video:
I hope Rush Limbaugh is damn satisfied. 😡
Is there a Conservative argument against Scott Brown?
It seems so…:
The federal legislation Brown opposes is not that different from the Massachusetts bill he supported. He sees the federal bill as a fiscal disaster, so how can he really say that he still supports the state system when it shares some of the flaws of the federal legislation he rejects? He says this because he assumes MassCare is popular enough in the state and because he is on record supporting it, but he also knows that he cannot possibly win Republican and conservative backing if he gave any hint that he might support Democratic health care legislation in Washington. The trouble here is that he does not admit that supporting MassCare was mistaken, as he might, nor does he say that he has learned from the flawed product the state legislature created, which might help make sense of his record and his current position on the federal bill. Instead, he wants to have it all by retaining his moderate Republican record to assuage uncertain independent voters while affirming his party-line opposition to the federal health care bill.
Come to think of it, this is not quite Romney-like cynicism, because at least Romney has pretended to change positions as electoral circumstances demanded. Brown is trying to occupy both sides of the health care debate at the same time even as he seems to claim that there is no contradiction in doing so. Both Massachusetts voters and national Republicans have reason to wonder which side he will eventually take when it comes time to vote on the bill. Most likely, as a freshman Senator he will fall in line with whatever the leadership says. He is being quite plain about his opposition to the federal bill, but I wonder whether voters will find his inevitable party-line voting to be at odds with his claim to represent “all independent-thinking citizens.”
Heck, I am surprised that someone from that Magazine has not claimed that Scott Brown is a part of the so-called Jewish Neo-Conservative cabal.
Police release more information on the Kentucky Census Worker Suicide
(H/T Sister Toldjah)
From the Lexington Herald-Leader:
FRANKFORT — Days before a U.S. Census worker was found dead near a secluded Clay County cemetery, he told another man he planned to kill himself but make it look as if he’d been murdered, according to the state police case file released Friday.
William E. Sparkman Jr. of London told Lowell Adams he had practiced asphyxiating himself by placing a bag over his head and had blacked out at times, Adams told police.
Sparkman said that when he was going “to do it for real,” he planned to put a rope around his neck, tie it to a tree, put blocks on his feet for weight and throw himself down a hill, Adams told police.
“Bill said he wanted to kill himself rather than die from cancer,” Adams said in a written statement to police.
Sparkman, 51, asked Adams to help him because he wasn’t sure he could complete the suicide alone, but Adams refused, according to the file.
Visitors to the cemetery saw Sparkman’s body Sept. 12 and called police.
He was wearing only socks, and his hands were bound with duct tape, though he could have moved them several inches apart. There was a rope around his neck tied to a tree, but his feet were in contact with the ground.
[…]
The police file included some new details, though authorities had released most of the information in November when they closed the case.
Police say Sparkman was trying to preserve payments under two $300,000 life-insurance policies that would have paid off if he died accidentally or was murdered, but not if he killed himself.
Sparkman said in a letter he left that his son, Josh, of London, was the beneficiary of one policy and Adams was the beneficiary of the other.
Sparkman had been successfully treated for cancer in 2008 but apparently was worried the cancer had returned.
[…]
Adams at first told police he had no details on Sparkman’s death but provided information after being asked to take a lie-detector test at the FBI office in London.
The polygraph examiner concluded Adams told the truth when he said he did not help Sparkman die.
The information from Adams was one key factor in the conclusion by police that Sparkman killed himself, but there were several others.
For instance, Sparkman had no wounds to show he had fought with someone or been assaulted.
There were no signs of a struggle at the scene, either, and police found only Sparkman’s DNA on items there.
Medical examiners concluded that Sparkman wrote the letters “fed” on himself because they were applied from the bottom up — not the way someone facing Sparkman would have done it.
Sparkman’s socks were dirty on the bottom, indicating he walked to the spot where he died on his own.
And Sparkman had a bone fracture in his neck that was healing, which was consistent with Adams’ statement that Sparkman said he had practiced asphyxiating himself.
Investigators found a note Sparkman had left at his home for his son.
“In a best-case scenario (at least for you), the accident policy will provide enough for you to live off the interest. Do not blow the money on anything,” Sparkman wrote to his son. “This was meant to provide for you in case something happened to me.
“Whatever the case, I love you and will always do so.”
Sister Toldjah chimes in:
This is a sad story all around. A mother lost her son, and a son lost his father. The family doesn’t believe that Sparkman killed himself, and has hired a private investigator of their own to dig through all the details surrounding his death. Whatever the family’s investigator concludes, I hope one day they will find closure to all of this. It sounds like the police and investigators were pretty thorough in this case, though.
In light of this new news – and the initial police news release in which they informed the public of their belief that Sparkman killed himself, I’m still waiting on the massive round of apologies from the left for using this man’s death for shameless political purposes via jumping to conclusions and making snide and denigrating insinuations about “murderous” conservatives as soon as this story broke. I won’t hold my breath. The ends justify the means in their eyes, and all that.
Amen. Been that way in the liberal media for a long time; since the days of Edward R. Marrow… and it is not going to change anytime soon. This is why we Conservative Bloggers are here. To bring out the facts and make sure the people know the truth.

President Obama to stump for Coakley
Hey, What’s the smell? It’s….it’s…. Fear!
President Obama will be heading to Massachusetts to campaign for Martha Coakley this Sunday, according to two senior sources informed of the president’s decision, a last-minute effort to give the Democrat a needed boost in the Senate race.
It's a sign that Democrats are deeply worried about Coakley’s prospects and the party's 60-seat majority, and believe the president can help turn out the Democratic vote in a state where he's viewed favorably.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs announced the president’s decision at today's briefing, and said the campaign stop will take place in Boston.

Man, looks like the Democrats are running scared, so, they have to bring out the big irons.
So, looks like we need to work harder!

Beware of Gail Riplinger
I received this via e-mail. It appears that Gail Riplinger, so-called advocate of the KJV has a serious problem….
I have one thing to say to Mrs. Riplinger, if she wants to try and sue me.
Bring it on bitch!
Here’s the story:
GAIL RIPLINGER THREATENS TO SUE DR. AND MRS. WAITE
January 15, 2010 (David Cloud, Fundamental Baptist Information Service, P.O. Box 610368, Port Huron, MI 48061, 866-295-4143, fbns@wayoflife.org; for instructions about subscribing and unsubscribing or changing addresses, see the information paragraph at the end of the article) –
Gail Riplinger, the favorite female preacher of a shocking number of Independent Baptists, is now threatening to sue the elderly Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Waite. She has demanded that he (and me, as well) make immediate and public retractions and apologies.
I have published two articles about Riplinger in recent weeks, “Gail Riplinger’s Lies to Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Waite” (November 24, 2009) and “Gail Riplinger’s Lies to the Waites Part 2” (December 14, 2009). These were based on published reports by the Waites. The essence of these articles is as follows:
In 2007, the Waites received uncertified reports that Riplinger had been divorced twice and married thrice. On October 24 of that year, they called her to inquire about the matter, and Mrs. Riplinger expressly told them that she had been married only once, to her current husband Mike Riplinger. Wanting to be certain that she wasn’t misunderstood and wanting to be absolutely sure of the matter, Mrs. Waite posed the question in a variety of ways, but Gail strongly denied that she had ever had any other marriages. As a result, Dr. Waite defended her at the Princeton King James Bible Conference in January 2008. When someone inquired at a question-answer session if Riplinger was divorced, Waite said that he had confirmed directly from her that this was not true. In June 2008, the Waites, having decided to pursue the matter further, obtained certified copies of Gail Riplinger’s three marriage licenses and two divorce papers.
Story: The Old Man
I received this via email:
As I came out of the supermarket that sunny day, pushing my cart of groceries towards my car, I saw an old man with the hood of his car up and a lady sitting inside the car, with the door open.
The old man was looking at the engine. I put my groceries away in my car and continued to watch the old gentleman from about twenty five feet away.
I saw a young man in his early twenties with a grocery bag in his arm, walking towards the old man. The old gentleman saw him coming too and took a few steps towards him.
I saw the old gentleman point to his open hood and say something. The young man put his grocery bag into what looked like a brand new Cadillac Escalade and then turn back to the old man and I heard him yell at the old gentleman saying,
‘You shouldn’t even be allowed to drive a car at your age.’ And then with a wave of his hand, he got in his car and peeled rubber out of the parking lot.
I saw the old gentleman pull out his handkerchief and mop his brow as he went back to his car and again looked at the engine.
He then went to his wife and spoke with her and appeared to tell her it would be okay. I had seen enough and I approached the old man. He saw me coming and stood straight and as I got near him I said, ‘Looks like you’re having a problem.’
He smiled sheepishly and quietly nodded his head. I looked under the hood myself and knew that whatever the problem was, it was beyond me. Looking around I saw a gas station up the road and told the old man that I would be right back… I drove to the station and went inside and saw three attendants working on cars. I approached one of them and related the problem the old man had with his car and offered to pay them if they could follow me back down and help him.
The old man had pushed the heavy car under the shade of a tree and appeared to be comforting his wife. When he saw us he straightened up and thanked me for my help. As the mechanics diagnosed the problem (overheated engine) I spoke with the old gentleman.
When I shook hands with him earlier, he had noticed my Marine Corps ring and had commented about it, telling me that he had been a Marine too. I nodded and asked the usual question, ‘What outfit did you serve with?’
He had mentioned that he served with the first Marine Division at Tarawa, Saipan, Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal .
He had hit all the big ones and retired from the Corps after the war was over. As we talked we heard the car engine come on and saw the mechanics lower the hood. They came over to us as the old man reached for his wallet, but was stopped by me and I told him I would just put the bill on my AAA card.
He still reached for the wallet and handed me a card that I assumed had his name and address on it and I stuck it in my pocket.. We all shook hands all around again and I said my goodbye’s to his wife.
I then told the two mechanics that I would follow them back up to the station. Once at the station I told them that they had interrupted their own jobs to come along with me and help the old man. I said I wanted to pay for the help, but they refused to charge me.
One of them pulled out a card from his pocket looking exactly like the card the old man had given to me. Both of the men told me then, that they were Marine Corps Reserves. Once again we shook hands all around and as I was leaving, one of them told me I should look at the card the old man had given to me. I said I would and drove off.
For some reason I had gone about two blocks when I pulled over and took the card out of my pocket and looked at it for a long, long time. The name of the old gentleman was on the card in golden leaf and under his name……..
‘Congressional Medal of Honor Society.’
I sat there motionless looking at the card and reading it over and over. I looked up from the card and smiled to no one but myself and marveled that on this day, four Marines had all come together, because one of us needed help. He was an old man all right, but it felt good to have stood next to greatness and courage and an honor to have been in his presence. Remember, OLD men like him gave you FREEDOM for America .
Thanks to those who served and those who supported them.
America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don’t stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!

Massachusetts race for the ‘Kennedy’ Seat is heating up!
Looks like the run for the Senate seat in Boston is making some headway for the Republicans.
The Boston Herald Reports:
Riding a wave of opposition to Democratic health-care reform, GOP upstart Scott Brown is leading in the U.S. Senate race, raising the odds of a historic upset that would reverberate all the way to the White House, a new poll shows.
Although Brown’s 4-point lead over Democrat Martha Coakley is within the Suffolk University/7News survey’s margin of error, the underdog’s position at the top of the results stunned even pollster David Paleologos.
“It’s a Brown-out,” said Paleologos, director of Suffolk’s Political Research Center. “It’s a massive change in the political landscape.”
Even Liberal Nate Silver is befuddled:
Earlier today I tweeted about how there wasn’t enough evidence to describe the Massachusetts special election as a “toss-up”, as some other forecasters have done, based on the information available to us at that time.
Well, now there’s some new evidence. And it isn’t good for Martha Coakley.
[…]
That’s a toss-up, ladies and germs! Both candidates are tied at 48 percent on the nose.
You can still argue that Coakley is favored — and I might even believe you. Hell, I might even wind up making that argument myself. But at this point, you can’t really cite the public polling as a data point in favor of your argument.
I have an idea why Coakley is diving in the polls, might have something to do with this here:
Ken Pittman: Right, if you are a Catholic, and believe what the Pope teaches that any form of birth control is a sin. ah you don’t want to do that.
Martha Coakley: No we have a seperation of church and state Ken, lets be clear.
Ken Pittman: In the emergency room you still have your religious freedom.
Martha Coakley: (…stammering) The law says that people are allowed to have that. You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn’t work in the emergency room.
Audio of that little stupid blunder, can be found here. Does this woman have any remote clue as to her constituents religious leanings in her area? From what I have read, a good 90% of the people in Boston are Roman Catholic. Not a smart idea to insult your constituents Religious beliefs, if you are going to attempt to represent them. No wonder Scott Brown is surging in the polls.
But of course, the Democrats are already circling the wagons:
Here in Massachusetts, as well as in Washington, a growing sense of gloom is setting in among Democrats about the fortunes of Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley. “I have heard that in the last two days the bottom has fallen out of her poll numbers,” says one well-connected Democratic strategist. In her own polling, Coakley is said to be around five points behind Republican Scott Brown. “If she’s not six or eight ahead going into the election, all the intensity is on the other side in terms of turnout,” the Democrat says. “So right now, she is destined to lose.”
Intensifying the gloom, the Democrat says, is the fact that the same polls showing Coakley falling behind also show President Obama with a healthy approval rating in the state. “With Obama at 60 percent in Massachusetts, this shouldn’t be happening, but it is,” the Democrat says.
Given those numbers, some Democrats, eager to distance Obama from any electoral failure, are beginning to compare Coakley to Creigh Deeds, the losing Democratic candidate in the Virginia governor’s race last year. Deeds ran such a lackluster campaign, Democrats say, that his defeat could be solely attributed to his own shortcomings, and should not be seen as a referendum on President Obama’s policies or those of the national Democratic party.
Heh. Yeah, “We just got our tails kicked in the Massachusetts senate race, but that has nothing to do with the President!” Wow… Talk about spinning like a top. On the contrary, it has everything to do with this President and his socialistic nonsense that he is trying to foist on the American people. For once, the American people have stood up and said NO MORE!
Today, Massachusetts. Tommorow, The White House. The Clock is ticking Mr. President.
On Rush Limbaugh’s Comments about Haiti
My Statement on the insensitive and untimely comments by Rush Limbaugh about the situation in Haiti.
As I stated previously on this Blog; I feel that the statements made by Rush Limbaugh, while possibly factually correct, are quite insensitive. Having said that, let me explain myself on Rush’s factual statement:
Even the most bleeding heart of liberals and even the most charitable of Christians, when they are being honest, will tell you that there is a problem with corruption in Haiti. The reason why the Catholic Church is so successful in that Country, is because they actually pay off the corrupt leaders; so, that the Catholic charities can make a difference in that Country. There is no argument, that there needs to be reform in that Country. Bill O’Reilly even said that last night on his show and I happen to wholeheartedly agree. As long as the overlords are stealing the money and yes, even the food. Americans should be really careful where they send their money.
However, I believe Rush Limbaugh’s comments were a bit poorly timed. Rush could have waited till the final death toll was known and even possibly waited till the rescue operation was completely done. But, as they say, politics is a sewer. The main thing to remember about Rush Limbaugh is this, He is an entertainer. He speaks to his audience of upper-middle class, White, Wealthy Conservatives. (NTTAWWT!) Rush also does something, that many of us on the right do as well; we give people like Media Matters and Think Progress something to do. If it were not for us, those pathetic bastards would be unemployed. Look at it this way, Rush Limbaugh is simply contributing to the economy, to give people like Think Progress and Media Matters a justification to collect a paycheck every week.
Bottom Line: While Rush Limbaugh’s timing was horrible, he was factually correct. Haiti is a Country that suffers from Lawlessness and corruption, and should be cleaned up.
Glenn Beck interviews Sarah Palin
(H/T and Via Left Coast Rebel)
Well, it seems that Fox News’s resident fear-monger and paranoia peddler, interviewed the Republican Party’s resident shrieking harpy. Of course, Mrs. Palin believes that she is on some mission from the divinity to retake America. I watched the interview, between doing stuff for my parents yesterday. But what I did see of it, I was not very impressed. Glenn Beck, however, sounded horrible, like he had a head cold or something.
If you have a slobbering love affair with Sarah Palin, you will enjoy this; as well, if you happen to think that Glenn Beck is the second coming of Howard Beale, then you might enjoy this. Myself personally, I thought it pretty dull, full of empty rhetoric and devoid of any real value. I mean, she had to call her son to find out what the various parts of the statue of liberty were representative of; what more proof does one need to see that Sarah Palin is not President material, not to mention, not a real American —- but rather a native of the Republic of Alaska? America does not need a goofball woman like her, from some remote island, that was not even made a State till 1959. But rather a real 48-Continental American — a real American, to be President of the United States. I mean, we already have a President who will not show his original birth certificate, so why have another immigrant in the White House?
Having said that, here are the videos:
Late Night at the PB Pub – Special Memorial Edition Presents: Teddy Pendergrass
This one’s for Teddy:
Such a young age…. a great loss for R & B…:
Teddy Pendergrass, who became R&B’s reigning sex symbol in the 1970s and '80s with his forceful, masculine voice and passionate love ballads and later became an inspirational figure after suffering a devastating car accident that left him paralyzed, died Wednesday at age 59.
The singer’s son, Teddy Pendergrass II, said his father died at a hospital in suburban Philadelphia. The singer underwent colon cancer surgery eight months ago and had “a difficult recovery,” his son said.
“To all his fans who loved his music, thank you,” his son said. “He will live on through his music.”
Pendergrass suffered a spinal cord injury and was paralyzed from the waist down in the 1982 car accident. He spent six months in a hospital but returned to recording the next year with the album “Love Language.”
He returned to the stage at the Live Aid concert in 1985, performing from his wheelchair.
Pendergrass later founded the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance, an organization whose mission is to encourage and help people with spinal cord injuries achieve their maximum potential in education, employment, housing, productivity and independence, according to its Web site

Quote of the Day
The single most insulting remark made about blacks in my lifetime was Bill Clinton‘s announcement — after being caught in the most humiliating sex scandal in world history — that he was “the first black president.”
He did not call himself “the first black president” when liberals were dancing and singing to Fleetwood Mac at his inauguration. He did not call himself “the first black president” when he was feeling our pain and being lionized by the media. He did not call himself “the first black president” when he was trying to socialize health care or passing welfare reform.
Not until he became a national embarrassment did Clinton recognize that he was “the first black president.”
At least he could finally get his own coffee.

Oh Brother…. 🙄
Video: (H/T AP)
“And you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it.
“They were under the heel of the French, uh, you know Napoleon the 3rd and whatever, and they got together and swore a pact to the Devil.
“They said, ‘We will serve you if you’ll get us free from the French.’
“True story.
“And so the Devil said, ‘Okay, it’s a deal.’
“And, uh, they kicked the French out, you know, with Haitians revolted and got themselves free.
“But ever since they have been cursed by, by one thing after another, desperately poor.
“That island of Hispaniola is one island. It’s cut down the middle. On the one side is Haiti on the other side is the Dominican Republican.
“Dominican Republic is, is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, etcetera.
“Haiti is in desperate poverty.
“Same island.
The problem is, what “uncle Chuckles” is saying, is, of course, wrong. 90% of Haiti is Christian. Further more, the story of the Satanic pact story, is, of course, Wrong. Even a Christian from there says so.

Update: CBN has issued a Statement:
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., January 13, 2010 — On today’s The 700 Club, during a segment about the devastation, suffering and humanitarian effort that is needed in Haiti, Dr. Robertson also spoke about Haiti’s history. His comments were based on the widely-discussed 1791 slave rebellion led by Boukman Dutty at Bois Caiman, where the slaves allegedly made a famous pact with the devil in exchange for victory over the French. This history, combined with the horrible state of the country, has led countless scholars and religious figures over the centuries to believe the country is cursed. Dr. Robertson never stated that the earthquake was God’s wrath. If you watch the entire video segment, Dr. Robertson’s compassion for the people of Haiti is clear. He called for prayer for them. His humanitarian arm has been working to help thousands of people in Haiti over the last year, and they are currently launching a major relief and recovery effort to help the victims of this disaster. They have sent a shipment of millions of dollars worth of medications that is now in Haiti, and their disaster team leaders are expected to arrive tomorrow and begin operations to ease the suffering.
Chris Roslan
Spokesman for CBN
The White House, as expected, is quite shocked at Robertson’s idiotic behaviour:
Robertson’s words instantly triggered a firestorm across the country, including a rebuke from White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, who told reporters “at times of great crisis there are always people who say really stupid things.”
Earlier today, senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett said on “Good Morning America” that she is “speechless about that kind of remark.”
“Our heart goes out to the people of Haiti. … That’s not the attitude that expresses the spirit of the president or the American people, so I thought it was a pretty stunning comment to make,” Jarrett said.
I think that his non-apology apology is just not good enough. He must resign, a penalty must be paid for this sort of foolishness.
Keith Olbermann is fighting mad about this, and rightly so:

I know what Rush Limbaugh said and I chose and still chose to ignore it. That is one of sad parts of being here on the right; is to have to be associated with the idiots like Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity. It is a part of the American experience, and the byproducts of a Free Republic. Freedom of speech does, at times, have it’s bad points.
I cannot, and will not apologize for Pat Robertson, nor can I explain his idiotic remarks. However, I can and I will say, publicly; that I wholeheartedly disagree and reject Pat Robertson’s and yes, even Rush Limbaugh’s idiotic and asinine comments — They do NOT reflect my feelings at all, about the situation in Haiti.
