Finally – Ann Arbor Michigan Police stand up to Liberal smut producer

It is about time that the Police in Ann Arber stood up to this sort of Liberal smut, being passed off as “art”.

The Story: Police Presence Cancels Nude Photo Shoot (via WDIV Detroit)

A warning from police deterred people from taking part in a scheduled nude photo shoot at the Ann Arbor Art Fair on Friday.

Harvey Drouillard has taken nude pictures at the Ann Arbor Art Fair for years.

He has always pulled random people from the street to pose for his photo.

This year, he decided to let people know exactly when and where they could take part.

The shoot was scheduled to take place at noon in front of State Theater.

One of Drouillard’s models told Local 4 he was excited. “I’ve seen a lot of his work and what I like about his work, there’s a juxtaposition there you have a fully nude person just walking among a bunch of clothed people. I like the imagery.”

Police had warned Drouillard that he, along with anyone who modeled, would be arrested.

Drouillard asked police: “After 14 years of doing this every year at the art fair, I mean what could possibly be the problem with all this support here?”

A large crowd showed up to see the shoot, and chanted “Don’t break tradition.”

No one took their clothes off at the scheduled time, and the event was canceled.

Ann Arbor, Michigan — A bastion or as some would call it, a cesspool of Liberal Communism. In political terms that would be called “Obama’s people”.

Now, as a Libertarian, I believe in the freedom of expression. But even I have my limits on what I consider to be acceptable public behavior. I believe that this man should have the freedom to take his clothes off, and/or have people their clothes off as well, In a private building, somewhere. Not where small children could possible see it.

Do I consider it to be smut or porn? Yes, I am afraid so. This man takes pictures of naked people to display for a profit. That, as far as I am concerned, as a Christian, would be considered soft-core porn. That is, however, just an personal opinion and doesn’t speck collectively for the entire Libertarian Party.

I believe that the Ann Arbor Police did fine job in protecting the citizens of the city of Ann Arbor from this sort of Liberal display of idiotic nonsense. I am, however, disappointed that they did not make sure, that this man did not do, what he set out to accomplish.

This may explain the reason why I do not venture into the city of Ann Arbor much at all, that sort of latte sipping liberalism would fly in direct opposition to my Paleo-Conservative views.

A good Saturday afternoon to you all. 😀

The big news cycle today is Obamassiah is on his overseas PhotoOp Trip, and already there is a story out that the Iraqi P.M. is supposedly supporting Obama’s Plan of retreat and defeat.

Actually, this is what is going to happen in Iraq, regardless of what that turban-headed idiot thinks, or his people.

So long Gramm, Thanks for the Fish.

Another McCain distraction, under the bus!

“It is clear to me that Democrats want to attack me rather than debate Sen. McCain on important economic issues facing the country,” the former Texas senator said in statement. “That kind of distraction hurts not only Sen. McCain’s ability to present concrete programs to deal with the country’s problems, it hurts the country. To end this distraction and get on with the real debate, I hereby step down as co-chair of the McCain Campaign and join the growing number of rank-and-file McCain supporters.” – Washington Wire – WSJ.com : Sen. Gramm Leaves McCain Camp

Good riddance. I’ll admit it, his asinine comments even offended me, and I’m a Conservative.

Of course, this is not good enough for the Obamassiah:

“The question for John McCain isn’t whether Phil Gramm will continue as chairman of his campaign, but whether he will continue to keep the economic plan that Gramm authored and that represents a continuation of the polices that have failed American families for the last eight years,” said Obama spokesman Hari Sevugan.

Whether that happens or not is any man’s guess. If his recent campaign is any indication, nothing will change. His appointment of a Open Border advocate, being one of the many things wrong with McCain’s campaign.

The Story: CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive – McCain: ‘I don’t know’ if Obama is socialist « – Blogs from CNN.com

John McCain on Thursday described Barack Obama’s Senate record as “more to the left” than Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont — an independent who caucuses with Democrats but has described himself as an “independent Democratic socialist.”

During his town hall meeting with voters in Kansas City yesterday, McCain said, “Senator Obama has the most extreme record of any member of the United States Senate.”

In an interview after the event, The Kansas City Star asked him to clarify the remark.

“His voting record … is more to the left than the announced socialist in the United States Senate, Bernie Sanders of Vermont,” McCain answered, according the paper.

Asked if he thought Obama was a socialist, McCain answered: “I don’t know. All I know is his voting record, and that’s what people usually judge their elected representatives by.”

No wonder the Democrats and Liberals think he’s a dolt! 🙄

Some good news out of Iraq, for a change…..

Finally, Some good news from Iraq.

Quote:

In the area of security cooperation, the President and the Prime Minister agreed that improving conditions should allow for the agreements now under negotiation to include a general time horizon for meeting aspirational goals — such as the resumption of Iraqi security control in their cities and provinces and the further reduction of U.S. combat forces from Iraq. The President and Prime Minister agreed that the goals would be based on continued improving conditions on the ground and not an arbitrary date for withdrawal. The two leaders welcomed in this regard the return of the final surge brigade to the United States this month, and the ongoing transition from a primary combat role for U.S. forces to an overwatch role, which focuses on training and advising Iraqi forces, and conducting counter-terror operations in support of those forces. – Statement by the Press Secretary on Iraq (Via The White House’s Official Website)

Of course, the Communist Liberals, who are on a crusade of defeat in Iraq, want firm timetables and when we reach them, they can say, “Okay times up!”, so they can have their little Commie Liberal Vietnam moment.

I have to give Jack Moss credit, he is right here:

It’s not a “concession”, but what the President had been saying all
along, that when the Iraqis are ready and want us to go we will go.

I agree with you 100%, Jack. Only reason this discussion of timetables ever started is because of the defeatist commie liberals want us to not complete the job we started and not fix what we broke. They, that being the Anti-American, Troop Hating commie Liberals here in America. Time tables, glad we didn’t do that during World War 2, or we’d be under German or Japanese rule today.

Do you need anymore proof, that Liberals hate America?

Obama, just another vain liberal…..

Obama has been exposed……again….

Quote:

Barack Obama wants to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. He figures it would be a nice backdrop. The supporting cast — a cheering audience and a few fainting frauleins — would be a picturesque way to bolster his foreign policy credentials.

What Obama does not seem to understand is that the Brandenburg Gate is something you earn. President Ronald Reagan earned the right to speak there because his relentless pressure had brought the Soviet empire to its knees and he was demanding its final “tear down this wall” liquidation. When President John F. Kennedy visited the Brandenburg Gate on the day of his “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech, he was representing a country that was prepared to go to the brink of nuclear war to defend West Berlin.

[…]

Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name, a former Illinois state senator who voted “present” nearly 130 times. As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship? Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself.

It is a subject upon which he can dilate effortlessly. In his victory speech upon winning the nomination, Obama declared it a great turning point in history — “generations from now we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment” — when, among other wonders, “the rise of the oceans began to slow.” As Hudson Institute economist Irwin Stelzer noted in his London Daily Telegraph column, “Moses made the waters recede, but he had help.” Obama apparently works alone.

[…]

After all, in the words of his own slogan, “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for,” which, translating the royal “we,” means: ” I am the one we’ve been waiting for.” Amazingly, he had a quasi-presidential seal with its own Latin inscription affixed to his lectern, until general ridicule — it was pointed out that he was not yet president — induced him to take it down.

He lectures us that instead of worrying about immigrants learning English, “you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish” — a language Obama does not speak. He further admonishes us on how “embarrassing” it is that Europeans are multilingual but “we go over to Europe, and all we can say is ‘merci beaucoup.’ ” Obama speaks no French.

[….]

We are getting to know. Redeemer of our uninvolved, uninformed lives. Lord of the seas. And more. As he said on victory night, his rise marks the moment when “our planet began to heal.” As I recall — I’m no expert on this — Jesus practiced his healing just on the sick. Obama operates on a larger canvas. The Audacity of Vanity by Charles Krauthammer – (Via washingtonpost.com)

Krauthammer couldn’t be more right. Obama is playing this little game, of him being the second coming of John F. Kennedy. The truth is, B. Hussein Obama could not hold candle to JFK at all. Kennedy came from a grand royal line of political family, even if they were all commie liberals. Obama is a bastard son of a bi-racial marriage, and I use that term quite loosely.

Obama has no more earned the right to speak that the Berlin wall, than I have.

I just wonder, will he go, representing this man or will we hear this at the Berlin wall??:

It is to wonder.

MSM Swoons over Obama at the gym

Oh Brother…. Must be a slow day in Political News.

Quote:

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports: While Obama spent 91 minutes at a campaign event yesterday, the Illinois Senator spent a total of 188 minutes in the gym yesterday – making three separate stops to Chicago gyms over the course of one day.

The presumptive nominee started his Tuesday with a short morning work out at the gym of his friend and longtime aide Mike Signator’s apartment building.

After flying to Indiana for a campaign event, and doing a round of local TV interviews, the Senator returned to his home in Illinois where he spent the afternoon hitting two more local area gyms for the duration of the day. Obama first visited Signator’s gym again, returning home briefly and then going to East Bank Club, a downtown gym which Obama regularly plays basketball.Obama Hits the Gym, With Multiple Repetitions (via ABC News: Political Radar)

Jack Moss over at Macsmind says Obama was pumping Iron. Of course, if Larry Sinclair is to be believed, that isn’t the only thing that Obama likes to pump. 😮 😯 😉

Of course Obama’s campaign went out of their way to indirectly discredit the guy and expose his criminal record.

Another Conservative jumps for Obama

Larry Hunter has decided that Obama is the answer for America.

Who is Larry Hunter?

Quote:

I’m a lifelong Republican – a supply-side conservative. I worked in the Reagan White House. I was the chief economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for five years. In 1994, I helped write the Republican Contract with America. I served on Bob Dole’s presidential campaign team and was chief economist for Jack Kemp’s Empower America.

This November, I’m voting for Barack Obama.

So, why is Larry supporting Obama?

Quote:

The answer is simple: Unjustified war and unconstitutional abridgment of individual rights vs. ill-conceived tax and economic policies – this is the difference between venial and mortal sins.

Taxes, economic policy and health care reform matter, of course. But how we extract ourselves from the bloody boondoggle in Iraq, how we avoid getting into a war with Iran and how we preserve our individual rights while dealing with real foreign threats – these are of greater importance.

He does not mince words about Juan McSame either:

Quote:

John McCain would continue the Bush administration’s commitment to interventionism and constitutional overreach. Obama promises a humbler engagement with our allies, while promising retaliation against any enemy who dares attack us. That’s what conservatism used to mean – and it’s what George W. Bush promised as a candidate.

So, why is this man throwing his Conservative principles into the wind and voting for Obama?

Quote:

“But here’s the thing: Even if my hopes on domestic policy are dashed and Obama reveals himself as an unreconstructed, dyed-in-the-wool, big-government liberal, I’m still voting for him.

These past eight years, we have spent over a trillion dollars on foreign soil – and lost countless lives – and done what I consider irreparable damage to our Constitution.

If economic damage from well-intentioned but misbegotten Obama economic schemes is the ransom we must pay him to clean up this foreign policy mess, then so be it. It’s not nearly as costly as enduring four more years of what we suffered the last eight years.”

I hate to admit it, but I agree with him. I believe that the Republican Party needs to be punished, harshly, for it’s allowing of a Neo-Conservative, Big Government, Pro-War, Agenda to overtake it. The Republican Party needs to take the next 7 years to rewrite the party’s entire message.

Women that placed Bogus call that caused FLDS raid now wanted by Police

Good. I hope they catch this vermin and throw her sorry black ass UNDER the damn jail!

The Colorado woman alleged to have sparked the raid on the polygamous FLDS ranch in Texas with bogus tips may be on the run.

On Monday, an arrest warrant was issued for Rozita Swinton after she failed to show up for a court hearing on charges of violating her probation for one of two other false-reporting cases against her, court administrator Lori McKager told Salt Lake City’s 2News.

Swinton is accused of violating her probation stemming from her 2007 guilty plea for telling police she was a 16-year-old girl who was suicidal after giving birth.

Authorities have linked her to a phone number used to call a Texas crisis center thought to have triggered an April raid where more than 460 children were removed from the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ Yearning for Zion ranch in Eldorado, Texas.

Swinton, 33, faces jail time if found guilty of violating probation. – Arrest warrant issued for woman whose bogus tip allegedly triggered FLDS raid – (via Salt Lake Tribune)

In case you all think I am being a bit harsh, consider this, how would you like to be living in your own home, minding your own business and suddenly have the police charging your property with tanks, because some idiotic bitch, called the police saying that someone living in your house was molesting children? I don’t about you, but I would be highly pissed. 😡

I think there’s another factor here to, and yes, I am going there. That factor is racism. I have denounced racism on this blog, at various times. I think that Racism of ANY form, White on Black or Black on White is totally unacceptable. (and for what it’s worth, I’m talking about REAL Racism, not this race hustling horse shit that Al Sharpton and his stooges come up with….) In case anyone has not noticed, the people on that FLDS ranch in Texas are White men and women, and the person placed this call, was black. If the tables were turned and a White Woman called in a complaint on a Black Religious compound such as the FLDS has, the Authorities would be burning up the city trying to find the person that was responsible for doing such a thing. But because it’s Black on White, the authorities are taking their sweet time finding her. Now you tell me there is not racial bias in our justice system. Baloney. 🙄 😡

Yes, I do believe that Polygamy is very wrong, but I also think phoning in a fake complaint to the authorities, because you happen to hate White people is wrong too.

You know the silly season has started when………

A Republican Presidential candidate’s campaign accuses a Democrat running against him of being just as bad as the current Republican President.

Via TPM’s Election Central:

The McCain campaign is taking their effort to distance their
candidate from the unpopular President Bush to a whole new level:
McCain’s advisers are now openly attacking Bush on Iraq — and not only
that, they’re also saying that Barack Obama is the one who is like Bush on the war!

On a conference call just now with reporters, McCain foreign policy
adviser Randy Scheunemann compared Barack Obama’s insistence on a
timetable for withdrawal from Iraq to Bush’s insistence that we were
winning even as things went badly for years.

“I think the American people have had enough of inflexibility and
stubbornness in national security policy,” Scheunemann said. When asked
later by the Huffington Post’s Sam Stein whether the campaign was
disparaging President Bush, Scheunemann dug in: “We cannot afford to
replace one administration that refused for too long to acknowledge
failure in Iraq with a candidate that refuses to acknowledge success in
Iraq.”

Forget “McSame.” The candidate who would really continue Bush’s policies is “BushBama.”

Wow…. 😮 😯 Talk about spinning like a top. I have a very bad feeling this is going to backfire on McCain in a really big hurry.

Anyone who thinks that Barack Obama is anything remotely similar than Bush, quite frankly, has got a screw loose.

Washington Post SLAMS Barack Obama on his Iraq plan…

I’d be willing to bet that Barry’s behind is bit sore today…

A stinging Editorial from the Washington Post on Barry’s Iraq Plan:

BARACK OBAMA yesterday accused President Bush and Sen. John McCain of rigidity on Iraq: “They said we couldn’t leave when violence was up, they say we can’t leave when violence is down.” Mr. Obama then confirmed his own foolish consistency. Early last year, when the war was at its peak, the Democratic candidate proposed a timetable for withdrawing all U.S. combat forces in slightly more than a year. Yesterday, with bloodshed at its lowest level since the war began, Mr. Obama endorsed the same plan. After hinting earlier this month that he might “refine” his Iraq strategy after visiting the country and listening to commanders, Mr. Obama appears to have decided that sticking to his arbitrary, 16-month timetable is more important than adjusting to the dramatic changes in Iraq.

Mr. Obama’s charge against the Republicans was not entirely fair, since Mr. Bush has overseen the withdrawal of five American brigades from Iraq this year, and Mr. McCain has suggested that he would bring most of the rest of the troops home by early 2013. Mr. Obama’s timeline would end in the summer of 2010, a year or two before the earliest dates proposed recently by members of the Iraqi government. The real difference between the various plans is not the dates but the conditions: Both the Iraqis and Mr. McCain say the withdrawal would be linked to the ability of Iraqi forces to take over from U.S. troops, as they have begun to do. Mr. Obama’s strategy allows no such linkage — his logic is that a timetable unilaterally dictated from Washington is necessary to force Iraqis to take responsibility for the country.

At the time he first proposed his timetable, Mr. Obama argued — wrongly, as it turned out — that U.S. troops could not stop a sectarian civil war. He conceded that a withdrawal might be accompanied by a “spike” in violence. Now, he describes as “an achievable goal” that “we leave Iraq to a government that is taking responsibility for its future — a government that prevents sectarian conflict and ensures that the al-Qaeda threat which has been beaten back by our troops does not reemerge.” How will that “true success” be achieved? By the same pullout that Mr. Obama proposed when chaos in Iraq appeared to him inevitable.

[…]

“What’s missing in our debate,” Mr. Obama said yesterday, “is a discussion of the strategic consequences of Iraq.” Indeed: The message that the Democrat sends is that he is ultimately indifferent to the war’s outcome — that Iraq “distracts us from every threat we face” and thus must be speedily evacuated regardless of the consequences. That’s an irrational and a historical way to view a country at the strategic center of the Middle East, with some of the world’s largest oil reserves. Whether or not the war was a mistake, Iraq’s future is a vital U.S. security interest. If he is elected president, Mr. Obama sooner or later will have to tailor his Iraq strategy to that reality.

Ouch! That had to hurt. As I pointed out on Monday, Barry’s plan is just more of the same, but ever so slightly modified to somewhat reflect the conditions on the ground. However, what the Washington Post is getting him on, is his continuing insistence that he is pulling us out, no matter if we’re winning or not. I agree, pulling us out of Iraq, irregardless if we went in there on bad information or not, is just bad policy. It shows a lack of personal responsiblity, which is, as I have said repeatedly, what the Democrats and especially the far left are infamous for.

Richard Viguerie: Huckabee Proves Again He’s No Conservative

(Manassas, Virginia) Richard A. Viguerie, Chairman of ConservativeHQ.com, released the following statement regarding Mike Huckabee’s endorsement of Alaska Congressman Don Young in a contested Republican primary against Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell:

“Mike Huckabee claims he’s a conservative, but his actions show just the opposite. The latest proof is his endorsement of Congressman Don Young in Alaska’s Republican Primary.

“Ever since he won the Iowa caucuses, I’ve been warning my fellow conservatives that Huckabee is a Christian socialist. He’s good on social issues but was the most liberal of all the Republican presidential candidates on economic issues.

“Huckabee’s Huck PAC is supporting Young against Sean Parnell, a principled conservative. I doubt that very few of the contributors to Huck PAC knew their money would end up helping Young’s re-election campaign.

“Young, who is under federal investigation for illegal gratuities and unreported gifts, is a world-class porker, infamous for his Bridge to Nowhere and hundreds of millions in other earmarks.

“Young is an essential part of the massive culture of corruption in politics that runs hand-and-glove with Big Government and is causing almost all Americans to lose confidence in Congress.”

This just ticks me off…

This is a disgrace to America. A Total Disgrace. These people belong in JAIL!

Via WorldNetDaily:

A Kansas church well-known for its protests at the funerals of fallen American soldiers plans to picket at this week’s funeral of former Press Secretary Tony Snow, declaring that Snow is “a very bad monkey” who is “now burning in hell.”

“He had a platform, he was given some small talent by his Creator. He was an unfaithful steward, and is now residing in hell,” says a schedule on the website of the Westboro Baptist Church.

“Each opportunity he had to faithfully report what the servants at WBC had to tell this country/world, Tony Snow besmirched and vilified the words of God and the people of God. Thereby being a party to the crime of passing laws to make the preaching of the gospel to this adulterous and sinful generation [equals] criminal activity. That is a very bad monkey!”

The announcement goes on to quote a variety of biblical verses concerning “scribes,” and closes by stating: “You see there is nothing worse than a scribe who has gone away from their primary duty to faithfully report the facts as they ARE! And how appropriate that this brute, vain beast of a brat was raised Catholic, but then determined like his forefathers that oops! he’d rather be a filthy Episcopalian instead. God hates Tony Snow, and that is why he is now burning in hell.”

I know what I am thinking here. But because I do not want one of those brain dead bastards to try and get the Fed’s after me. I will refrain from saying what I am thinking, here on the blog.

I think you all can guess, what I am thinking.

Let me just say, cancer killed the wrong person.

Another reason why the Republicans will lose in November….

This is sick….

billboardsign

Via WFTV-TV:

A controversial billboard in Orange County has a picture of the burning World Trade Center and the message, "Please Don’t Vote for a Democrat." The man who paid for the ad says he’s trying to help Republicans, but officials with both political parties are calling the billboard inappropriate.

There are billboards up and down busy Orange Blossom Trail, but this at John Young Parkway (see map) one sticks out.

"Just looking at it, I’m not thinking about Democrat or Republican, I’m thinking about the twin towers and all the people killed," resident Mary Anderson told Eyewitness News.

The ad went up last week and is causing quite a reaction.

"Why use the twin towers for that purpose?" Anderson questioned.

Good question. The sad part is, that this is what the Republican Party has been doing as a whole, using terrorism as a scare tactic since 9/11. But people have to realize, that is what Neo-Cons do. They will stop at nothing to promote war. That is what they do. Neo-Cons, which are made of primarly of old warmongering Democrats, will stop at nothing to go to war. For all we know, George W. Bush looked the other way, while these 9/11 hi-jackers flew those planes in the twin towers. Some people believe that FDR purposefully sent all of our warships to Pearl Harbor and ignored the warnings that we would be and were about to be attacked.

What I am saying is, that this sign is a perfect example of the mentality of the Neo-Conservative movement, which is, Do not vote Democrat or terrorists will attack America. It is truly and sick and sad mindset.

Now this, I don’t get at all…

(H/T to Think Progress)

Via The Washington Post:

Republicans were not alone in that response. Michael E. O’Hanlon, a Democratic defense analyst at the Brookings Institution who has been an outspoken supporter of the war in Iraq, said he could not believe that Obama would put such a definitive timeline into print before a trip to Iraq, where he is to consult with Iraqi leaders and U.S. commanders.

“To say you’re going to get out on a certain schedule — regardless of what the Iraqis do, regardless of what our enemies do, regardless of what is happening on the ground — is the height of absurdity,” said O’Hanlon, who described himself as “livid.” “I’m not going to go to the next level of invective and say he shouldn’t be president. I’ll leave that to someone else.”

The reason I don’t get it is, because what Obama wrote in that Op-Ed piece was basically his primary stump speech with some very minor refinements to it. So, why anyone on the Democrat side would be “Livid” about it, as they this guy put it, is well beyond me. In other words, Obama did not say anything different, than he did in the primary, he just updated it to reflect current events.

Now his point about Obama going to Iraq, I can see that point. But for him to become upset about what was written, I don’t get that, at all.

Barack Obama’s campaign scrubbed his presidential Web site over the weekend to remove criticism of the U.S. troop “surge” in Iraq, the Daily News has learned.

The presumed Democratic nominee replaced his Iraq issue Web page, which had described the surge as a “problem” that had barely reduced violence.

“The surge is not working,” Obama’s old plan stated, citing a lack of Iraqi political cooperation but crediting Sunni sheiks – not U.S. military muscle – for quelling violence in Anbar Province.

The News reported Sunday that insurgent attacks have fallen to the fewest since March 2004.

Obama’s campaign posted a new Iraq plan Sunday night, which cites an “improved security situation” paid for with the blood of U.S. troops since the surge began in February 2007.

It praises G.I.s’ “hard work, improved counterinsurgency tactics and enormous sacrifice.”

Campaign aide Wendy Morigi said Obama is “not softening his criticism of the surge. We regularly update the Web site to reflect changes in current events.”

GOP rival John McCain zinged Obama as a flip-flopper. “The major point here is that Sen. Obama refuses to acknowledge that he was wrong,” said McCain, adding that Obama “refuses to acknowledge that it [the surge] is succeeding.”

B. Hussein Obama, Website Editor in chief. I love it! 😆 😛 😀 😉

However, the left would just say, what about all the times that the George W. Bush Administration changed their message, as the Iraq dissolved into chaos in 2004? How many times did they change their reasoning for even being there?

Of course, the Republican Neo-Cons are wetting themselves over this, and I’ll put the various ones in down at the end.

The way I see it, he’s coming towards the center, instead of pandering to the hard left, which is what he did in the primary, which is what the Congress did in the 2006 election. I’m personally glad to see that he’s trying to prove himself not to be another Dennis Kucinich, but rather a more moderate progressive, who is more pragmatic, than idealistic. This could very well help him in the general election. I think.

No wonder the AP has went to dogs…

Via TPM:

Karl Rove exchanged e-mails about Pat Tillman with Associated Press reporter Ron Fournier, under the subject line “H-E-R-O.” In response to Mr. Fournier’s e-mail, Mr. Rove asked, “How does our country continue to produce men and women like this,” to which Mr. Fournier replied, “The Lord creates men and women like this all over the world. But only the great and free countries allow them to flourish. Keep up the fight.

To his defense:

“I was an AP political reporter at the time of the 2004 e-mail exchange, and was interacting with a source, a top aide to the president, in the The Carpetbagger Report, Gawker, Obsidian Wings, AMERICAblog News, The Jed Report and The Politico course of following an important and compelling story. I regret the breezy nature of the correspondence.”

Yeah, sure he does. 🙄

Living proof that Big Government is out of control Government!

(H/T to The Next Right)

Want to see a perfect example of an out of control Government?

Then head on over to Salon.com and read a harrowing tale of a Pilot, who recently flew on a plane.

Unbelievable.

John Henke rightly says:

Many years ago, the Right actively told the story of just how harmful government really was to society. But then Republicans took control of government and we basically stopped telling that story. As a result – and even thought government is far larger – the public and the media pay far less attention to the costs and consequences government; instead, they are clamoring for even bigger government.

He is so right, until this Nation wakes up and realizes the Big Government is NOT solution, we will be in much trouble. It will be up to the Republican Party to to get back to it’s morals of small and limited Government and limited spending. The Globalist agenda and big Government agenda of this President has totally ruined that party. Hopefully people like me, John Henke and many others can bring the Conservatives back to senses and make the realize that the more that gets done, without the Governments help, the better.

Newsbusters Hyperventalites because Chris Matthew……told the truth, for a change!

This is too funny, The Republican Conservatives are ticked off, because Chris Matthews told the truth about them, for a change.

On Monday’s “Hardball” Chris Matthews was so upset about the New Yorker’s cover, depicting Barack Obama in a turban and Michelle Obama toting an AK-47, because he feared “the right will be using that as t-shirt material within the next couple of weeks.” –Matthews Worries ‘Right’ Will Turn New Yorker Cover into T-Shirt | NewsBusters.org.

What’s the matter Geoffrey, the truth a little hard to handle? Quite frankly, with all the e-mails floating around, that were started by the Republican Operatives, I’m surpised you haven’t seen one.

Me thnks that Mr. Dickens neens to take off the rose colored glasses.

Townhall.com’s Carol Platt Liebau asks….

This:

Could someone point to me someone — anyone — of any stature in the Republican Party or the conservative movement who has shopped the idea that Barack is a Muslim (it was, of course, Hillary Clinton who said he was a Christian “as far as [she] know[s]”)? Or a terrorist who’s hand-in-glove with Osama bin Laden?

Yeah, Sure, I will. How about 90% of your damn base? Someone seriously needs to get this woman some glasses, because, it’s quite obvious she’s quite the vision impaired person.

I am not a Obama fan, not by a long shot. But this right here, is why the Republican Party is going to get thier asses handed to them on a platter come November, and quite honestly, no one is more deserving of that.

It just seems to me, that the Republican Party has been taken over by a disease and that is a bad case of inherit stupidity. 🙄

Yeah, I know, she said Stature, but you know, it doesn’t matter WHOM it’s coming from, it’s very damn point that it’s even coming.

Update: Before anyone says, “Hey, what about you?” Let me say this, okay? 90% of what I say in here, in relation to Obama being a Muslim or terrorist or anything else, is said in jest. I know that he is not a terrorist. Duh, I’m not that stupid. My biggest gripe with the Republicans, is their operatives who DO spread these rumors as fact. Obviously Carol does not see the e-mails that float around. 🙄

Man, talk about a dumb bitch who needs to wake up and smell the coffee… wow! 😮 😯
