The Clinton Tax Return – Gate

Here is the video news story via the AP:

Memeorandum has the various Blog reactions and story on Hillary’s website.

The only thing I have to say about it is this. The Clinton’s were successful people, I do not have a problem with that, at all. They went to college, got law degrees and were successful at it.

Does that bother me? Of course not! Sorry, I am just not one of those kind of people, who hold grudges against people who are successful in life. There are Liberals and some Conservatives like that, I am not.

If it makes anyone feel better, Keith Olbermann, The Liberal’s talking head, has a 5 year contact with MSNBC for 5 million dollars. So, I really do not see all the fuss over the Clinton’s wealth is.

This is, where I believe, that John Edwards blew it, he went around talking about two Americas, all the while being wealthy himself. I never saw that in Hillary, she was successful, because she worked for it. I cannot fault her for that.

My take on it is this, anyone that has the ability to go out and get a good education and make something of themselves and is able to amass that kind of wealth, I say, God Bless them, and I wish them the best. I do not have a problem with anyone being successful, as long as it is done in a honest manner.

That is one of the issues that I have with the progressives and far left liberals, and that is their contempt of anyone who is financially successful. The Anti-Capitalist mentality. Capitalism, sorry to say, is the American way. Honest capitalism is even better.

This whole idea of "Give me something, for nothing", I believe is anti-American, It seeks to punish those who are successful. It forces those who have made something of themselves to surrender their wealth to those who want something for nothing.

Just my take on it.

When did Liberalism lose its moment?

I was checking out the news items going around this morning and I happen to come upon an Op-Ed Article in the Washington Post by E. J. Dionne Jr. I understand also that Mr. Dionne has some of his facts wrong. That is the one thing about Op-Ed pieces; they are strictly opinion and opinion alone.

I honestly believe that the only thing that I really have to interject to this ongoing conversation is this; I personally believe that Liberalism lost it’s moment, after the murders of JFK, RFK and MLK in the sense that the mainstream, more centrist progressives became replaced with more far left liberals, the anti-God, anti-moral values, zealot types. I have noticed this in this election cycle, which Liberalism has become nastier, it is more than just a difference of political opinion; it is more of outright utter hatred of anything even remotely conservative! A perfect example of this would be the far lefty-liberal Blog, the Daily KOS.

I also believe that the original message of Martin Luther King Jr., was hijacked by group of individuals, who did not want to see equal rights for all, but rather a national black majority in which the blacks rule the land and white men cower in fear. So far, they have about accomplished this. In other words, the peaceful message of equality of Martin Luther King Jr. was replaced with the domination messages of Malcolm X. This is quite commonly known as identity politics, mingled with Black Nationalism, recently brought to light by the so-called “reverend” Jeremiah Wright.

Ann Coulter basically calls Senator Barack Obama a two bit Hitler

I hate to say this, But this crap right here, is why Conservatism is in it’s death throws and why America wants nothing to do, at all, with the G.O.P.

The Video:

The transcript: (via MMFA)

From the April 3 edition of Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes:

SEAN HANNITY (co-host): But I will bet you any amount of money, any bet, any dinner, any place, anywhere, restaurant of your choice, with any bottle of wine you want —

COULTER: — that I won’t vote for her?

HANNITY: You won’t vote for a Democrat. You will never pull the lever this election year for a Democrat.

COULTER: Well, I don’t want to give either of them a mandate, so I will probably write in Ronald Reagan.

HANNITY: Oh, come on.

COULTER: But I’m not going to vote for a Democrat, so I won’t vote for John McCain.

JOHN CARLSON (radio talk show host): I didn’t think it was congenitally possible for Ann Coulter to pull the lever for a Democrat.

HANNITY: Right.

CARLSON: You’re not really going to vote for Hillary.

HANNITY: No.

COULTER: If — as I said, and I haven’t —

HANNITY: She won’t.

COULTER: — changed my mind, if the election were close and it’s between Hillary and McCain, I think Hillary would be better on national security.

HANNITY: She’s not — she doesn’t mean it. I’m telling — I know she would never do it. Never.

COLMES: She’s lying?

[crosstalk]

CARLSON: Wait, wait, wait, hold on.

COLMES: Are you calling her a liar?

HANNITY: No, she’s not lying; she’s [unintelligible] —

COLMES: Let me defend you —

CARLSON: Why would Hillary — why would Hillary protect America better than John McCain?

COULTER: Do you really want me to go through this again on Fox airwaves?

HANNITY: Answer this.

COULTER: ‘Cause they’re getting a little testy with me for making the case.

CARLSON: No, no. Who do you think the soldiers in Iraq would rather to see as their commander and chief?

COULTER: No, I understand we have spent 10 years building up a hatred for the Clintons. And frankly, when I endorsed her, I was secretly pleased that it seemed to kill her nomination.

However, she’s not obsessed with being called a maverick by The New York Times, like — oh, who could I think of? Yes, John McCain. She’s not obsessed with waterboarding and stopping waterboarding, and given the glint in her eye, I think she’d like torturing them. Have you seen that woman give a speech? I think she would enjoy torturing them at Guantánamo.

CARLSON: They play those at Gitmo.

COULTER: She doesn’t run around saying we’ve got to shut down Guantánamo. So I think I’ve just made the case. What do you have to say?

[…]

COULTER: I think the point is, the most important question right now is — is who it is John McCain chooses as his vice president. Because he may end up being the luckiest man in the world, running against this absolute racist Obama, as noted in my column —

[crosstalk]

COLMES: Wait, wait a minute, wait a minute. Why are you calling him a racist? Why are you calling him a racist?

COULTER: — or Hillary Clinton, who — I mean, he could — he could be the luckiest man in the world, liberal Republican —

COLMES: Why are you calling him a racist?

COULTER: Because we — the topic we were supposed to be talking about in this segment, Sean — my column this week. I’m the only person in America who has read Obama’s autobiography —

COLMES: You know, as a matter of fact —

COULTER: — and all he has a racial hair-trigger, he’s a complete loon. All he talks about is constantly being offended. And Mr. Unity attacks Sean Hannity and me.

COLMES: All right, you said in your piece —

[crosstalk]

COULTER: — and now we’re offended.

HANNITY: Me and you in the same sentence —

COLMES: Hold on, we only have a second left. You said, if only — you might want to take a peek at Obama and what he writes — "if only people had read ‘Mein Kampf’ … "

COULTER: Yeah.

COLMES: So in other words, he would be as dangerous as Hitler?

COULTER: No. He’s a dimestore Mein Kampf.

COLMES: Oh, he’s a two-bit Hitler?

COULTER: But yes. It is absolute racialist. If you read Mein Kampf

COLMES: I see.

COULTER: — it’s all about his Germanic heritage. And this is — OK, go read it. If you don’t believe me —

COLMES: All right, I see.

COULTER: — you want to read the CliffsNotes version in my column.

COLMES: We should be as wary of Obama as they should have been of Hitler in Nazi Germany?

COULTER: If only people had read Mein Kampf.

COLMES: I just want to get you on the record. We will come right back.

She’s something else, in the quest of being ironic, cute and snarky, she’s basically destroying the Republican Party and running Conservative movement into the ratholes of America.

Pretty Lady, She is, stupid, but quite pretty. Like a poodle…..

Martin Luther King Jr. In his own words….

Now, I am sure there will be those who will accuse me of being a Liberal for posting this.

Quite honestly, I could give a flying flip what those close-minded, ignorant, fools think really.

Every time I read some idiotic tripe, which is usually written by some racist bigot, saying that Martin Luther King Jr. was a Communist, I just want to rip that persons head off. Sad part is, most Republicans believe that nonsense.

Funny thing is, the same Republicans that derided Martin Luther King Jr. Deride Al Sharpton. Honestly? I’m not a fan of the guy either. Not because of his skin color, because he’s hi-jacked the civil rights movement. As has Jesse Jackson. But I strong suspect the motives of the Conservatives who love to run those two in the ground.

I present these videos, not in support of any particular political party. I present them for their historical value, the man changed the south, no Republican or Conservative can deny that, not at all. In fact, I will go on record as saying, any Conservative that says anything cross against this man, exposes him or herself as the racist bigot that they truly are.

Update: I am including this video, because I want people to see the emotional impact of what happened on April 4, 1968. They didn’t just kill a man, they hurt and impacted a race of people….check this quite heart rending video out:

Liberal Talk Show Host Randi Rhodes Suspended for Name Calling

Randy Rhodes, Liberal Talk Show Host and suspected Lesbian and/or sex change recipient,  was suspended was calling Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro "Big F*****g whores".

Official statement from Air America Radio:

Air America has suspended on-air host Randi Rhodes for making inappropriate statements about prominent figures, including Senator Hillary Clinton, at a recent public appearance on behalf of Air America in San Francisco which was sponsored by an Air America affiliate station.

"Air America encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our Hosts," said chair Charlie Kireker.

Turns out, Kireker is a Hillary supporter. From what I have read, there is anger amongst Liberals about it too.

To be fair, Rhodes was not on her show, when she made these comments, she was at a personal appearance. Someone recorded it and it was posted to YouTube

Of course, now at Huffpo, someone is calling John McCain a whore now too. Hey, At least they’re fair.

Speaking of Idiots…..

Man, it comes in waves….

The Article:  GOP Rep. Darrell Issa under fire from everywhere after 9/11 comments – (via New York Daily News)

The California congressman who called the Sept. 11 attacks "simply" a plane crash ran for cover Wednesday under a barrage of ridicule from fellow Republicans, first responders and victims’ families.

San Diego GOP Rep. Darrell Issa was under siege for suggesting the federal government had already done enough to help New York cope with "a fire" that "simply was an aircraft" hitting the World Trade Center.

"That is a pretty distorted view of things," said Frank Fraone, a Menlo Park, Calif., fire chief who led a 67-man crew at Ground Zero. "Whether they’re a couple of planes or a couple of missiles, they still did the same damage

Oy…. I’ve heard of "Open Mouth, Insert Foot", But Man, this is like over the top… Doh

He’s from California, Which says quite a bit, and he’s a Republican. Interesting combination.

I also notice his last name, I wonder what his nationality is? Let’s see here, via Wikipedia:

Darrell Issa’s mother is of Bohemian German descent and his father is of Lebanese Christian descent. Issa was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in a Jewish neighborhood and worked for a rabbi. Issa enlisted in the Army during his senior year of high school, where he served as a bomb disposal technician.

Well, that explains it all! I guess nationality loyalty is thinker than loyalty to the United States.  Why didn’t he just come out and say the 9/1 hijackers were heroes?

Attack of the Lesbian Lawyers!

No, not her! She’s getting married. Rolling on the floor

Go read the story over on NPR:

The Justice Department’s inspector general is investigating whether a career attorney in the department was dismissed from her job because of rumors that she is a lesbian. The case grew out of a larger inquiry into the firings of U.S. attorneys and politicization at Justice under former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

Several people interviewed by the inspector general’s staff described the case to NPR and said they came away with the impression that the Attorney General’s office decided not to renew Leslie Hagen’s contract because of the talk about her sexual orientation. Hagen received the highest possible ratings for her work as liaison between the Justice Department and the U.S. attorneys’ committee on Native American issues. Her final job evaluation lists five categories for supervisors to rank her performance. For each category, a neat X fills the box marked, "Outstanding." And at the bottom of the page, under "overall rating level," she also got the top mark: Outstanding.

The form is dated February 1, 2007. Several months before that evaluation, Hagen was told her contract would not be renewed.

Here’s where Goodling gets into the Picture:

The official line on Hagen’s dismissal was that contracts like hers are a privilege. Rotating new people through the job each year gives more people a chance to serve.

But what happened next seems to undermine that explanation. Internal Justice Department documents obtained by NPR show that soon after Hagen was let go, two people in her office had their contracts renewed for another year.

And Hagen’s post remained vacant months after she left.

Justice Department e-mails obtained by NPR show that Gonzales’s senior counsel Monica Goodling had a particular interest in Hagen’s duties. A few months before Hagen was let go, according to one e-mail, Goodling removed part of Hagen’s job portfolio — the part dealing with child exploitation and abuse.

Goodling, who left the Justice Department last year, declined through her lawyer to comment on the matter.

Well, I would guess so! Especially if she did do this. It could come back to haunt her.

Should be interesting to follow….

I could go one and rant and rave about how this Administration was corrupt from the ground up. But what more can I say, that hasn’t been said by people who get paid much better money then me? Not much at all.

Ebay Jerk stalks Obama

I can tell you with no amount of hesitation. That this would have never happened, had I been running security.

Political Opinion aside, whomever was running that security detail, should be fired from the secret service.

If that had been me running that detail. This jerk’s noggin would have been beamed off the pavement  and he would gotten his butt kicked, royally.

That guy was very much over the line and should be sitting in a jail cell right now. Period.

I find it quite amazing that our United States Secret Service is that damn incompetent that they did not arrest this guy.

I guess this can be expect considering the White Piece of trash that we have in the White House.

Damned Idiots. Angry

Elizabeth Edwards uses her Cancer for Political Gain…

Just like she and John did with their dead son.

Go read it

I personally think it is sick and disgusting to use something of this nature as a means to make a political statement. Just like the congress did with the SCHIP nonsense. In reality Mrs. Edwards is a wealthy woman who does get the best care out there. Their talk of "Two Americas" and all that other nonsense did not fly with me. I mean, ever see the house that John Edwards owns?

Hillary Clinton fired from Lawyer Job

This juicy bit of info came out yesterday and I didn’t get chance to Blog about it.

This comes via the guys over at HotAir.com.

An Article by Dan Calabrese basically removes any varnish off of Hillary Clinton’s Lawyer days. Calabrese quotes Jerry Zeifman, a life long Democrat as saying the following:

Quote:

As Hillary Clinton came under increasing scrutiny for her story about facing sniper fire in Bosnia, one question that arose was whether she has engaged in a pattern of lying.

The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

It is being reported that this isn’t really news, however, it is the first time that I have heard of it. So, far only Conservative Blogs are talking about it, I haven’t seen any movement by the bigger Blogs, but if this did catch fire, it could spell the end of Hillary Clinton. Because basically, she’s used her years as a lawyer to say she is ready for the White House.

Zeifman goes on to say at his website:

After hiring Hillary, Doar assigned her to confer with me regarding rules of procedure for the impeachment inquiry. At my first meeting with her I told her that Judiciary Committee Chairman Peter Rodino, House Speaker Carl Albert, Majority Leader “Tip” O’Neill, Parliamentarian Lou Deschler and I had previously all agreed that we should rely only on the then existing House Rules, and not advocate any changes. I also quoted Tip O’Neill’s statement that: “To try to change the rules now would be politically divisive. It would be like trying to change the traditional rules of baseball before a World Series.”

Hillary assured me that she had not drafted, and would not advocate, any such rules changes. However, as documented in my personal diary, I soon learned that she had lied. She had already drafted changes, and continued to advocate them. In one written legal memorandum, she advocated denying President Nixon representation by counsel. In so doing she simply ignored the fact that in the committee’s then most recent prior impeachment proceeding, the committee had afforded the right to counsel to Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas.

I had also informed Hillary that the Douglas impeachment files were available for public inspection in the committee offices. She later removed the Douglas files without my permission and carried them to the offices of the impeachment inquiry staff — where they were no longer accessible to the public.

Hillary had also made other ethical flawed procedural recommendations, arguing that the Judiciary Committee should: not hold any hearings with – or take depositions of — any live witnesses; not conduct any original investigation of Watergate, bribery, tax evasion, or any other possible impeachable offense of President Nixon; and should rely solely on documentary evidence compiled by other committees and by the Justice Departments special Watergate prosecutor.

If any of the above is true, Hillary Clinton could be in deep trouble should this story begin tread water among the main stream media.

Ed Morrissey on this:

The right to counsel is considered one of the inviolable tenets of our justice system. It doesn’t speak well of ambitious attorneys working on a highly-charged political investigation that she wanted to deny someone the right to an attorney. Small wonder Zeifman questioned her ethics.

If all she did was to propose that as a tactic, that would not make it terribly concerning — but she did much more than just spitball ideas. When informed that public evidence showed a precedent for the right to counsel, she absconded with the files to eliminate the evidence. Does that remind anyone of later incidents in the Clinton narrative, such as the billing records for the Rose Law offices and the 900+ raw FBI files on political opponents of the Clintons?

For the sake of the Democrats and for the sake of this election, I am hope that this story just dies off and goes away. I mean, the Democrats have enough trouble right now as it is.

Should be interesting indeed.

One of the half a million reasons I think Joe Scarborough is an Asshat….

Transcript: (via Media Matters for America)

From the March 31 edition of MSNBC’s Morning Joe:

SCARBOROUGH: You know, Willie, the thing is, Americans want their president, if it’s a man, to be a real man. They — 1984, I remember Ronald Reagan goes to South Boston. He holds up that beer mug —

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah.

SCARBOROUGH: — in that South Boston pub, and everybody’s like, "He’s a real man," and I guess Barack Obama’s trying to do the same thing, too.

BRZEZINSKI: Stop it. Oh, come on.

SCARBOROUGH: Awful. Good Lord.

GEIST: He’s going to have to try a little harder than he did in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night —

SCARBOROUGH: Oh my God —

BRZEZINSKI: Really?

SCARBOROUGH: Oh, this is awful.

GEIST: — at the Pleasant Valley Rec Center. He went bowling, and let’s just take a quick look at it here. I guess I’ll just give you the final numbers. Started out nicely, got the Velcro shoes.

BRZEZINSKI: Looking good, looking good.

GEIST: But then he started bowling. The score you’re really after in bowling is 300; that’s a perfect score.

BRZEZINSKI: Oh, OK.

SCARBOROUGH: That’s perfect score.

BRZEZINSKI: Good, good, good.

SCARBOROUGH: But, you know, if you get 200, you’re a good bowler.

GEIST: Sure. You know what?

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah. Two-fifty —

SCARBOROUGH: You get 150, you’re a man —

BRZEZINSKI: OK.

SCARBOROUGH: — or a good woman.

BRZEZINSKI: Stop it.

GEIST: Out of my president, I want a 150, at least. Barack Obama bowled — well, you can see his form here —

SCARBOROUGH: Hee!

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah.

GEIST: A 37.

BRZEZINSKI: Oh.

GEIST: That’s a three, next to a seven.

SCARBOROUGH: Baby, if you go to Altoona, Pennsylvania, on a Saturday night and you’re going to try to bowl —

SCARBOROUGH: Oh, that’s so dainty. Ugh.

GEIST: Get there, get there.

SCARBOROUGH: What a dainty —

GEIST and SCARBOROUGH: Oh!

BRZEZINSKI: A gutter ball, that’s like me bowling.

SCARBOROUGH: That is such a dainty release.

GEIST: If you’re the president, you want — you don’t want them to have to put those bumpers in the gutters.

SCARBOROUGH: Look, here we go, look at this. OK.

BRZEZINSKI: All right now.

[Scarborough squeals]

GEIST: Oh, it’s like a children’s birthday party.

BRZEZINSKI: OK, guys.

SCARBOROUGH: I’ve got a feeling he —

BRZEZINSKI: That was useless and stupid and [unintelligible].

SCARBOROUGH: — he didn’t go bowling in Cambridge that much. That’s a guy that’s been studying a lot of — reading a lot of books.

[…]

FORD: One thing I thought he did a great job of this week — he’s done a lot of great things but —

SCARBOROUGH: Not bowling.

FORD: No.

SCARBOROUGH: Have you ever bowled before, Harold?

FORD: I do, I have.

SCARBOROUGH: You ever bowl?

FORD: I’m embarrassed to say, but I do.

BRZEZINSKI: Harold, make your point.

FORD: My other point is just —

SCARBOROUGH: No, no, I’m curious. If you were running for president in Altoona, Pennsylvania —

FORD: They can walk him through —

SCARBOROUGH: He got a 37 —

FORD: — feed milk to him —

SCARBOROUGH: Harold, he got a 37 bowling in Altoona, Pennsylviania.

BRZEZINSKI: Oh, Harold.

GEIST: So sorry.

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah.

FORD: He probably shouldn’t do that again, but I tell you, it showed a human side to him. I mean, it showed a very humble side to him.

SCARBOROUGH: Well, yeah, yeah, yeah.

BRZEZINSKI: He is a politician.

SCARBOROUGH: A very human side? A prissy side.

BRZEZINSKI: Oh, stop it. Now, that’s just not nice.

SCARBOROUGH: Anyway, make your point.

FORD: He’s a heck of an athlete, by the way.

SCARBOROUGH: Is he really?

FORD: Actually, heck of an athlete.

SCARBOROUGH: It sure didn’t look it, the way that he was just —

BRZEZINSKI: Oh my God.

SCARBOROUGH: He was pushing it this way, right there.

BRZEZINSKI: You have to take it and run with it, Harold.

FORD: But he looked like — I mean, he looked like folks, he looked like an American. A Pennsylvanian — he looked like someone, day in and day out —

[crosstalk]

BRZEZINSKI: No, no, no.

SCARBOROUGH: He was bowling in his tie —

FORD: — except the bowling. The bowling hurt it.

BRZEZINSKI: Harold, take my advice.

FORD: The bowling — I mean, I thought it was 137. You sure it was 37?

SCARBOROUGH: It was 37. That is awful.

BRZEZINSKI: You have to — there is no way. There is no way out of this one.

[…]

SCARBOROUGH: So Harold, so Harold, though —

FORD: He’s my buddy. I can’t believe you make me laugh at –.

SCARBOROUGH: But you say he’s a good athlete?

BRZEZINSKI: He’s a dancer.

[crosstalk]

FORD: He’s a heck of a basketball player.

SCARBOROUGH: Is he really?

FORD: Heck of a basketball player.

SCARBOROUGH: OK.

FORD: As a matter of fact, I spent a little time with his brother-in-law over the weekend who can also play.

BRZEZINSKI: I’d think you’d have a hard time against him —

SCARBOROUGH: How tall is he?

FORD: How tall is Barack?

SCARBOROUGH: Yeah.

FORD: Barack’s probably 6’2".

SCARBOROUGH: Really?

FORD: 6’2", 6’3", yeah. He’s a big guy.

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah.

SCARBOROUGH: Well then, I better be quiet because —

FORD: Yeah, probably.

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah, I think you should.

SCARBOROUGH: I mean, I’m bigger than he is.

BRZEZINSKI: I still think you should be quiet.

FORD: You should reach out to a bowl-off.

SCARBOROUGH: I’ll challenge him to a bowl-off. But basketball — he looks like he’s in pretty good shape. I would just have to post low.

GEIST: Right.

FORD: And I’d throw him a pass on you, too. I’ve seen you. I think he could probably take you down the sideline on a post route.

BRZEZINSKI: O

h no. Please don’t, don’t don’t don’t go there. You didn’t just do this.

[crosstalk]

SCARBOROUGH: Wait, wait. I’m sorry? You talking football now?

BRZEZINSKI: Guys —

FORD: I mean, that’s one sport y’all can still play at Florida —

[crosstalk]

SCARBOROUGH: I’ve got 5 yards.

BRZEZINSKI: Harold?

SCARBOROUGH: I’ve got 5 yards, bump and run. He’s not going down the field.

FORD: Oh, Joe.

SCARBOROUGH: You know what my nickname was in college?

BRZEZINSKI: Oh, Lord, help me.

SCARBOROUGH: The "Round Mound of Rebound." On the basketball court, you just go low and lean.

BRZEZINSKI: Yeah, well, 15 million Big Macs later, I don’t think that name applies, honey.

[…]

SCARBOROUGH: Let’s bring in right now David Axelrod, he’s chief strategist for the Obama campaign. David, we have to ask a question, what did you know, when did you know it —

BRZEZINSKI: And what were you thinking?

SCARBOROUGH: What were you thinking? Why did you allow your candidate to bowl a 37 in Altoona, Pennsylvania? America waits for your answer, sir.

AXELROD: Well, if you’re going to bowl a 37, Altoona’s a good a place as any, Joe. No, listen. I think it was tremendously insightful of the candidate not to try and show up any of the other bowlers there.

SCARBOROUGH: I’ll tell you what —

AXELROD: I mean, that’s the kind of political sophistication that you want —

GEIST: There you go.

AXELROD: What’s worse, I mean, listen, what made that worse was that right after that, Hillary Clinton revealed that she had bowled a 300 with the prime minister of Uzbekistan. So —

SCARBOROUGH: Oh, here we go.

[crosstalk]

BRZEZINSKI: Oh, that’s harsh [unintelligible]. David —

SCARBOROUGH: I’ll tell you what, that is some spin, my man.

BRZEZINSKI: No, you didn’t.

SCARBOROUGH: First of all, you say he got the 37. That’s why he gets the big bucks. He says —

AXELROD: So he didn’t bowl 10 frames, Joe. He didn’t bowl 10 frames, and as he’s proven, he’s a strong finisher.

SCARBOROUGH: Oh, OK.

AXELROD: So —

BRZEZINSKI: No. David?

AXELROD: Let’s put the whole thing in perspective.

From the 10 a.m. ET hour of the March 31 edition of MSNBC Live:

HALL: Well, Barack Obama — his friends say he’s a whiz on the basketball court and he can hold his own on the dance floor — and he’s got a gift, of course, for speaking. But one thing Barack Obama cannot do, and I think it’s official — he can’t bowl. Mr. Obama scored a 37 when he hit the lanes this weekend. And yes, he bowled all 10 frames. That’s impossible. Well, voters in Pennsylvania will give him some pointers for his effort.

I do sometimes catch his show in the mornings. But I think the guy is a fucking dick, quite frankly. Someone who picked on kids in school, a spoiled rich kid who thought he was something big. I would love to see nothing more than some beat the living fucking shit out of Joe right on the air, on his own show.

I honestly do not know how Mika Brzezinski puts up with it. I wouldn’t, I’d bitch and have his ass fired. He’s said so much offensive stuff to her, as a woman, it is unbelievable.

He’s the kind of Republican, that I cannot stand. The kind with the "I am better than you", Attitude.

US Military to recruit Bloggers to spread Pro-War Propaganda

That is the report from "Danger Room", A National Security Blog at Wired.com.

Quote:

A study, written for U.S. Special Operations Command, suggested "clandestinely recruiting or hiring prominent Bloggers."

Since the start of the Iraq war, there’s been a raucous debate in military circles over how to handle blogs — and the servicemembers who want to keep them. One faction sees blogs as security risks, and a collective waste of troops’ time. The other (which includes top officers, like Gen. David Petraeus and Lt. Gen. William Caldwell) considers blogs to be a valuable source of information, and a way for ordinary troops to shape opinions, both at home and abroad.

This report does not surprise me, nor is a huge revelation. I believe that US Military in Iraq, at some point, when the Iraq War began to turn sour, began to instruct some of it’s Military personnel to sign up for Blogs, say on Blogspot and WordPress, under false Iraqi names, like Omar and Mohammad, and to begin to preach the good values of this War and the Bush Administration.

One of these blogs already exists. It is called "Iraq, The Model"; it has been in existence since November of 2003. It is "supposedly" run by someone in Iraq.

Sorry, I am not buying it. The English is too good. I accused the person that owns this Blog of being a covert American once and he flew into a rage and called me a liar, and then amazingly my comments on the Blog disappeared. As if he did not want to arouse anyone’s suspicions, I suppose.

My question is, does the Bush Administration really believe that the American people are that damned gullible? That we are just going to blindly buy the lie that this war is just going along smoothly and everything is perfect. I mean really!

Coupled with that and continued moving of the Goal posts as to why we should be there! First, it was to topple Saddam, and then it became to fight against Al-Qaeda, and so forth. I mean, somewhere along the line, the American people realized that the Bush Administration was full of crap.

It just cracks me up, that George W. Bush and his Administration actually sit up there, in the White House thinking of ways that they can deceive the American people into believing that this war was even remotely justified. Everyone knows, that actually reads the news, which is good percentage of America, that the whole invasion of Iraq was an abdication of U.S. Intelligence, from the ground up. Does anyone remember, "Slam Dunk"?

Mr. President, in case you have been away or a bit busy, this is not 1941! We do have the thing called the Internet and a thing called Blogs and various other kinds of Alternative news sources! You cannot control the type of news that comes out of Iraq. No matter how hard you try! You would think a man that ended up in the White House would be smart enough to know this sort of a thing. But then again, we are talking about George W. Bush, the former cokehead, the former womanizer, the former Drunk, the guy who walked away from the Military, the Former Black sheep of the Bush Family, are we not?

Of course, upon further reflection, this is the mindset of the Republican Party, the party of the wealthy in our society. The sick and twisted mentality of "They are just stupid common people, they’ll believe anything we tell them.” The sad part is, within the Republican Party, there does exist a certain amount of that sort of Mentality. It is generally made up of the viewers of the Fox News Channel. In fairness, there are liberals like that too. "Believe what you are told and shut up and accept it and get back to work!" is the mentality of the good part of America. Thank God for people like Edward C. Marrow, and Keith Olbermann and many others, including those in the Blogging community, that have stood up and said, "No More!" and have sought to expose this Administration for what it is. Corrupt.

I am not sure how I feel about this story, angry or sad. Angry because of the Blatant stupidity that it exhibits, or sad for our nation, sad because the American government is having to stoop to the level of hiring professional Bloggers to print lies about this war.

November 2008 cannot come quick enough for me.

Clinton not paying her bills

No wonder people want her to drop out!

Quote:

Among the debts reported this month by Hillary Rodham Clinton’s struggling presidential campaign, the $292,000 in unpaid health insurance premiums for her campaign staff stands out.

Clinton, who is being pressured to end her campaign against Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination, has made her plan for universal health care a centerpiece of her agenda.

The campaign provides health insurance to all its employees, their spouses, partners and children — and that wasn’t interrupted by any lag in payments to insurance providers, said Jay Carson, a Clinton campaign spokesman.

He said the campaign this month paid off all outstanding bills to Aetna Healthcare and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Those payments will be reflected on a report the campaign will file this month with the Federal Election Commission, which Carson said will show “zero debt owed to both vendors.”

“Sometimes invoices are not paid immediately because we need additional information for our records, or to verify expenses,” Carson said in a statement e-mailed to Politico. “Sometimes invoices arrive at the very end of the month at the cutoff of the reporting period, which means that we are required to report them as a debt on the current FEC report, even where they are paid in regular course during the next month.”

But the unpaid bills to Aetna were at least two months old, according to FEC filings.

Wow. Just Wow.

If she doesn’t destroy the Democrat Party, She’ll end up bankruptcy court. Either way. Life’s not going to be kind to Hillary.

I wish Dean would get off his lazy behind to deep six this woman’s campaign. But we all know that ain’t happening!

Rolling EyesStupidity, Innate Stupidity.

Update: Speaking of Innate Stupidity, I called Hillary a Republican by Mistake! I was a bit tired when I wrote that.  Oops! Doh

As if President Bush needed any more troubles, Now this….

Like Wow! It must be open season on his Administration.

Article: Report Says HUD Secretary Will Resign (via New York Times)

Housing Secretary Alphonso R. Jackson is expected to resign Monday, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday night.

Mr. Jackson has scheduled a news conference for 9:45 a.m., 15 minutes before Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. is supposed to outline plans for dealing with the financial crisis set off by the risky mortgage lending.

If Mr. Jackson steps down, it would remove a key player from the administration team dealing with the problem.

It is an interesting read. Corruption at the highest level.

Oy…. Hillary Clinton Edition

As if Hillary needed anymore negativity, this drops…

The Article: Cash-strapped Clinton fails to pay bills (via The Politico)

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months — freeing up cash for critical media buys but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small-business circles.

A pair of Ohio companies owed more than $25,000 by Clinton for staging events for her campaign are warning others in the tight-knit event production community — and anyone else who will listen — to get their cash upfront when doing business with her. Her campaign, say representatives of the two companies, has stopped returning phone calls and e-mails seeking payment of outstanding invoices. One even got no response from a certified letter.

Before I get into my comments about this, there are those in the Blogging world, that say that Politico has become a Barack Obama apologist organization. So, keep that in mind, when reading this.

However, having said all this, This cannot be good. I believe the writing is on the wall for her. She was basically caught in a bald-faced lie, about her Bosnia trip, when she was First Lady. Her daughter basically came across as a elitist snob, when asked a question about the Monica scandal.

Anyway you slice this, it is not good, and could be a sign of things to come.

Al Gore to save the Democrat Party? I highly doubt it…..

I saw this, and almost spit my coffee on the laptop. Mostly because it sounds that absurd.

The Article: Senior Democrats mull Al Gore’s nomination (Via UK Telegraph)

Plans for Al Gore to take the Democratic presidential nomination as the saviour of a bitterly divided party are being actively discussed by senior figures and aides to the former vice-president.

The bloody civil war between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama has left many Democrats convinced that neither can deliver a knockout blow to the other and that both have been so damaged that they risk losing November’s election to the Republican nominee, John McCain.

Former aides to Al Gore now believe he could emerge as a compromise candidate

Former Gore aides now believe he could emerge as a compromise candidate acceptable to both camps at the party’s convention in Denver during the last week of August.

Two former Gore campaign officials have told The Sunday Telegraph that a scenario first mapped out by members of Mr Gore’s inner circle last May now has a sporting chance of coming true.

As exciting or scary, depending on your point of view, as this sounds. It is a known fact among us hardcore Bloggers, that the UK Telegraph is NOT really known for it’s factual reporting. It has, in the past, reported some quite outlandish headlines, that were, quite frankly, wrong.

I may not be an expert, when it comes to Politics, but it would be absolutely crazy to dump Gore into the mix, at this point in the race. There would be massive, and I do mean MASSIVE defections from the party.

So, as nice or as horrible as this may sound. I would not begin to panic, until the New York Times or some other legit News Source in America reports it.

A rule of thumb is, if in doubt, engage your common sense filter.
