There is a great deal of outrage on the left and amongst many Constitutionalists and some Libertarians about this FISA bill being passed.
The way I look at it is, if Obama wins, he will go after those who broke the law.
I think that everyone needs to take a step back and look at the big picture here. If we stop one terrorist from attacking America, it will be worth it. However, I am fully aware of the corruption of this imperialistic Neo-Conservative Presidential Administration.
I take comfort in knowing that if Obama does win, as much as I despise his Politics, I believe there will be prosecutions handed out.

Thatâs right people, Google actually denied me advertising on their âGoogle Affiliate Networkâ advertising system.
What happened is, a little while back, I received an e-mail from Google Adsense, letting me know that Google was retiring itâs referral ads program. For an alternative, the e-mail told me that I could sign up for DoubleClick Performics, which I found out, after that I went over to the signup page, that this company had been bought out, by, of course, Google. So, I thought, âWell, Iâm already a member of Google Adsense, Iâll just join up here.â. No such luck. I was denied.
An excellent way of controlling their advertising, however, it is total discrimination against me. Because my Blog is a Conservative Blog, I am being denied.

I supposed if I had a blog, that advocated the mindless and wholesale killing of unborn babies, or a Blog that advocated the unproven science of Global Warming, or if I had a website that advocated the promiscuous sex of 14 year old girls. New information reveals that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was indirectly sending messages to the FARC. The Marxist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is designated as a terrorist group by the US government. Speaker Pelosi was doing this while at the same time she refused to bring a free trade agreement with Colombia up for a vote in the US House. In fact, Pelosi took extraordinary steps to block this trade agreement with America’s closest ally in South America.

It seems that according to various British media sources, the United States scored a major victory in Iraq.
Too bad the vast majority of Americans, unless they read blogs, won’t hear about it. That’s because the United States Liberal controlled media is too busy trying to tell Americans that the war in Iraq is lost and that we’re losing, and so forth.

A gas used in the making of flat screen televisions, nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), is being blamed for damaging the atmosphere and accelerating global warming.
Almost half of the televisions sold around the globe so far this year have been plasma or LCD TVs.
But this boom could be coming at a huge environmental cost.
The gas, widely used in the manufacture of flat screen TVs, is estimated to be 17,000 times as powerful as carbon dioxide.
Ironically, NF3 is not covered by the Kyoto protocol as it was only produced in tiny amounts when the treaty was signed in 1997.
Levels of this gas in the atmosphere have not been measured, but scientists say it is a concern and are calling for it to be included in any future emissions cutting agreement.
Professor Michael Prather from the University of California has highlighted the issue in an article for the magazine New Scientist.
He has told ABC’s The World Today program that output of the gas needs to be measured.
“One of my titles for this paper was Going Below Kyoto’s Radar. It’s the kind of gas that’s made in huge amounts,” he said.
“Not only is it not in the Kyoto Treaty but you don’t even have to report it. That’s the part that worries me.”
He estimates 4,000 tons of NF3 will be produced in 2008 and that number is likely to double next year.
“We don’t know what’s emitted, but what they’re producing every year dwarfs these giant coal-fired power plants that are like the biggest in the world,” he said.
“And it dwarfs two of the Kyoto gases. So the real question we don’t know is how much is escaping and getting out.”
Dr Paul Fraser is the chief research scientist at the CSIRO’s marine and atmospheric research centre, and an IPCC author.
He says without measuring the quantity of NF3 in the atmosphere it is unclear what impact it will have on the climate.
“We haven’t observed it in the atmosphere. It’s probably there in very low concentrations,” he said.

In another sharp break with its traditions, the court struck down parts of the District of Columbiaâs gun-control law. After seven decades of holding that the Second Amendmentâs right to bear arms is tied to raising a militia, the court reversed itself and ruled that it confers on individuals the right to keep guns in their homes for personal use. The decision will no doubt add significantly to the number of Americans killed by gun violence.
Corporations fared especially well in this term. The court reduced the punitive-damages award against Exxon Mobil for the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill from $2.5 billion to about $500 million, a pittance for the energy company. In the process, the court declared that in maritime cases, punitive damages should not exceed the actual damages in a case. I just do not understand it. Why are Liberals so against capitalism in America? Why do they hate people that make a profit? I just do not get that at all.

According to the natural progression, there should be about 35,633 firearms deaths in 2009 even without the recent supreme court decision; let’s assume that a “significant” increase would be at least twice the expected rate of increase given population growth, to say nothing of the economic downturn and global warming. So, if the prophetic skills of the New York Times is to be trusted, gun fatalities should rise to at least 40,000 in 2009.
My view is that they won’t get anywhere near that level, unless, of course, Obama gets elected and decides to govern in the conventional African manner.
