I hate having to write blog postings like this one. Because I have been in blog wars before; and quite frankly, they suck.

However, when I see someone engaging in this level and depth of innate stupidity and recklessness, I have to say something.

It seems that former Conservative Blogger, turned Liberal shill, John Cole is now starting to carry the Liberal Meme that is common amongst the far left Blogger crowd. Reacting to a rather idiotic column by Thomas Friedman, John Cole delves into the idiocy of the far liberal left:

They weren’t around protesting during the Bush years They don’t care about the deficit.BECAUSE THE TEA PARTY IS REPUBLICANS. They care that a Democrat (and a black “Muslim,” to boot), is in the White House. They don’t care about fiscal restraint, they care that a Democrat is in the White House. They don’t, as some foolishly pretend, care about the Wall Street excesses. Certainly Cenk Uyger is not the only one who has noticed that the tea party bubbas could all be shipped to protest HCR, but the big money boys aren’t running the buses to protest Wall Street. They care that there is a Democrat in the White House.

Now as for the assertion that Tea Party people are Republicans, Blogger “DaTechGuy” takes care of that little bunch of idiotic tripe:

DeTechGuy goes on to show just how wrong that John Cole is. Which some very good reading and I highly recommend the posting. Because it slashes Cole’s MeMe to pieces.

Now for the part that got MY blood to boiling:

They care that a Democrat (and a black “Muslim,” to boot), is in the White House.

Now this is where I draw the line and say, “Whoa Nelly!”

Notice what I colored red up there? That is just asinine bullshit and Cole knows it.

Now admittedly, there are some extremists on the outside of the mainstream right side of the political fence, who have floated this sort of stupidity; they have been long since discredited by, not only the Main Stream Media, but also by the mainstream Conservative media as well. You noticed that Orly Taitz has not been in the news as of late, have you not? That is because, for one, she has had some serious legal sanctions against her and if she continues, could lose her legal license —- and because, quite frankly, I think the Woman realizes that the jig is up and that no one believes that idiotic nonsense any longer. Either that or most of the media, main stream and Conservative are just ignoring her, which in the humble opinion of this writer; is a good thing. Hell, even Bill O’Reilly called her a nut!

The reason I raised a stink about this, is because John Cole is doing two things; first of all, he is doing something that I feel is just wrong — but is what the liberal left is known for and that is collectivism. Blaming an entire group for the actions of a few. Which, I feel, is wrong. Secondly, Cole is playing fast and loose with the facts and with pinning blame, which I think he knows; but because he hopped the fence, because Bush did not do things, like he thought they ought to be done, he bailed on the right — he feels that he has to recite the talking points of the left, in order to remain in their good graces. Although, I could be wrong on that one.

Further more, I have written on here many times, excoriating those on the right, in office or otherwise; who I felt had crossed the line and either went the racist route or otherwise.

The Bottom Line: To tie the Tea Party movement to the Republican Party or its supports, is just plain stupid and accusing everyone who disagrees with policies of the Obama Administration of believing that he is a Muslim is nothing more than collectivism, which is what the liberal left is known for; and is extremely stupid.

The reason? Just what I posted last night. Making fun of someone’s religion is just fucking wrong. It is just as wrong as the idiots who threatened south park’s creators.

It’s a collectivist mindset. You know; “Oh! Them “rag heads” flew them planes into the trade center! So ALL Muslims and Arabs are terrorists! Right??! Right???”

Uh, No. Most American Muslims are peaceful people.

The point is folks, if you want to get your Pamela Geller and Debbie Schlussel on; go for it. But when you are branded a fucking bigot for it, please, do not cry about it. Because quite frankly, you deserve the fucking title.

…and before anyone says anything; I admit, in the past, I have written some things on here that would give a liberal a knee jerk reaction; I’m good at such stuff. Further more, I will admit, I am highly suspicious of Muslims, mostly due to Muslims in this area, who have ties to extremism. But to go off and mock Muslims in General is just plain bigotry. It is no better than someone mocking a Jew or a Catholic. Both of which are protected classes in the Country. So, why single out a group of people, of whom extremists have hijacked thier religion to fulfill their mentally deranged dreams?

Further more, anyone that thinks that the attacks on 9/11 gave anyone license to be a fucking bigot; is crazy. You wouldn’t mock blacks like that… so why mock Muslims? Not only that, does that not make you as bad as the 9/11 hijackers? They were bigoted towards America and our values —- now, do you want to be just like them?

Like it nor not; I do have a point.

The latest liberal meme is to equate skepticism of the Obama administration with a tendency toward violence. That takes me back 15 years ago to the time President Bill Clinton accused “loud and angry voices” on the airwaves (i.e., radio talk-show hosts like me) of having incited Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. What self-serving nonsense. Liberals are perfectly comfortable with anti-government protest when they’re not in power.

From the halls of the Ivy League to the halls of Congress, from the antiwar protests during the Vietnam War and the war in Iraq to the anti-capitalist protests during International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings, we’re used to seeing leftist malcontents take to the streets. Sometimes they’re violent, breaking shop windows with bricks and throwing rocks at police. Sometimes there are arrests. Not all leftists are violent, of course. But most are angry. It’s in their DNA. They view the culture as corrupt and capitalism as unjust.

About that mine tragedy in West Virginia

I just wanted to post something here to all my readers. I noticed that not too many Bloggers on my side of the political fence have said anything about this.

Well, once again, I will be the one to do it.

Politics is one thing, real life is another.

Losing someone to a tragedy such as this, is unimaginable. Unlike some on the left, I will NOT bring my personal politics into this. But I will say that I personally feel for this people. Mining is in my family too; sort of. My Father is from Middlesboro, Kentucky. Back when he was a young man, he drove a tri-axle dump truck down in his home town. He worked out of a strip mines down in that town. Oh, the stories he would tell, about Hazards of driving those trucks. Some of the stories were side splitting tales, some were quite scary.

Anyhow, my heart goes out to these people during their time of loss. This is where I will also deviate from my normal hard line Conservative stance, and say the following; which most likely will not do anything for my Conservative creds. Not that I quite honestly give a damn about that anyhow.

It would be a crime, if I did not mention the fact that this mine was, in fact, a non-union mine. Because of that, the safety record of this mine, was, in fact, terrible. Unions; for all their short-comings and horrible politics, are the best defense against companies who want to cut corners and allow their employees to work in unsafe conditions. I honestly believe that if the union that my Father was represented by at G.M. had not been there, my Father would have been dead ages ago. For those who are just passing through, my Father is a retired G.M. Worker and is represented by the U.A.W. The Union forces the big business owners to a very high standard of safety and if the companies do not adhere to them, they simply will not allow their employees on the job. Which I feel is a very good thing. Equipment can be replaced —- Human Lives cannot.

There are some possibly of the right, that might say my bringing this up is morbid or something silly like that. Well, too bad. As they say, all politics is local; and this my friends is a local, personal issue for me. One of the nicest things I read, was the fact that even though this mine was non-union, the President of the Union miners was sending a team of people up to the site, to offer their assistance. Because it is the human and responsible thing to do. That is what normal, sane, rational Americans do, when their fellow man is hurting. They put partisan differences aside and come together. I bet some in the world of Political Blogging could learn something from that; on both sides of the aisle.

Again, my and my family’s prayers go out to the people of MONTCOAL, W.Va. tonight.

Gadgets come and gadgets go. The iPad you buy today will be e-waste in a year or two (less, if you decide not to pay to have the battery changed for you). The real issue isn’t the capabilities of the piece of plastic you unwrap today, but the technical and social infrastructure that accompanies it.

If you want to live in the creative universe where anyone with a cool idea can make it and give it to you to run on your hardware, the iPad isn’t for you.

If you want to live in the fair world where you get to keep (or give away) the stuff you buy, the iPad isn’t for you.

If you want to write code for a platform where the only thing that determines whether you’re going to succeed with it is whether your audience loves it, the iPad isn’t for you.

I have to give props to Mr. Cory Doctorow for his brutal honesty. The article is quite the good read; from a standpoint of someone, who does not even own a iPod, much less an iPhone! 😀 I mean, I am just not big into, what I like to call, useless gadgets. To me, a phone is for making phone calls. Not for sitting there and playing games and all the crap you can do on them today. I mean, there is a thing called “Sexting” which is transmitting rather nasty pictures of one’s self over the internet. We never had to contend with stuff like that when I was a kid. (I am 37, by the way…) Besides that, you would not want to be transmitting naked pictures of my body anyhow; as I am almost sure it would cause someone great problems of the psychological sort to see me naked.

Now, from a greedy capitalist’s stand point; if I had a bunch of shares with Apple right about now and I saw this article. I would be asking for this guys head on a platter. I mean, just who the hell does this grumpy old jackass think he is? I am sure that Steve Jobs is not too happy about someone dissing his product, that he’s worked his rear end off to produce. On the other hand, this is just one man’s opinion of this product and I am sure that there are many others who have written that this is an exciting product to try.

The bottom line is this; we live in a free market, capitalistic society, and that free market will decide if this product is a smashing success or if it will be a flop. That is because that Free Market allows the PEOPLE, not the Government, to choose whether a product will be sold or even successful or not. Granted, it will take effort to make this happen; promotion by the company, the sales people and even the customer to buy the product. However the point is….. the freedom of choice is there. You can choose which product you wish to own by apple, all of them or none of them at all. That is the beauty of America. The only thing stopping you is your financial situation and also possibly your personal desire to own such product. Personally, even if I did have the money to own one of these iPads, I most likely would not own one. Because I personally do not see the point in owning such a thing. I have a very nice laptop, which suits my needs perfectly. I also do not see the point in owning something like this, and then having to own a iPhone or something similar, why not just put a camera and the ability to make phone calls in it as well? Again that is wonderful power of personal freedom and choice.

Now I could yammer on here about how the some of the Democrats and the socialists want to do away with all this freedom and change the system we have here in America. But I think everyone that reads this knows my position on those subjects. It also is not lost on me, where this thing is produced and the political positions of some of the people that will own one of these things.  However, I will not bring that into this discussion here, as I am blogging about an iPad. 😉 😀 😛

It’s about time: Obama proposes offshore drillng

The Obama administration is proposing to open vast expanses of water along the Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the north coast of Alaska to oil and natural gas drilling, much of it for the first time, officials said Tuesday.

The proposal — a compromise that will please oil companies and domestic drilling advocates but anger some residents of affected states and many environmental organizations — would end a longstanding moratorium on oil exploration along the East Coast from the northern tip of Delaware to the central coast of Florida, covering 167 million acres of ocean.

Under the plan, the coastline from New Jersey northward would remain closed to all oil and gas activity. So would the Pacific Coast, from Mexico to the Canadian border.

The environmentally sensitive Bristol Bay in southwestern Alaska would be protected and no drilling would be allowed under the plan, officials said. But large tracts in the Chukchi Sea and Beaufort Sea in the Arctic Ocean north of Alaska — nearly 130 million acres — would be eligible for exploration and drilling after extensive studies.

The proposal is to be announced by President Obama and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Wednesday, but administration officials agreed to preview the details on the condition that they not be identified.

The proposal is intended to reduce dependence on oil imports, generate revenue from the sale of offshore leases and help win political support for comprehensive energy and climate legislation.

What’s correct pricing? For most bloggers, something in the 60 to 80 cent range CPM. Smaller bloggers would probably want to go with AT LEAST 50 cents per CPM. In fact, at some point, we may move up to a 50 cent per CPM minimum for everyone in the hive (Keep that in mind).

Now, I know ads have not been selling at a rapid pace at the start of the year — but happens every Jan and Feb — and cutting your rates down to ridiculously low levels, like 25 cents per CPM, isn’t going to sell more ads for you. In fact,  as far as I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference at all in the number of ads running on blogs that have 75 cent CPMs and blogs that have 25 cents CPMs. See for yourself.

That video doesn’t prove sh*t.  It fails to show anyone shouting anything vile, but so what?  If you’re in that crowd, videoing with your cam or cell phone, and you happened to have footage of the actual incident, are you going to release it?  No friggin way.  Anybody standing in that crowd is a right wing true-believer and would keep such video under wraps forever.
The evidence, such as it is, is firmly on the side of the accusations being true.  There were several witnesses who had nothing to gain by supporting a lie, and they all backed it up.  Game over.

I am referring to Donald Douglas. I e-mailed him, He is, like me, a Hendrix Fan.Which is an awesome thing, Hendrix was awesome player. He also inspired me to learn how to play guitar.

Not only that, I can’t stand paleocons, actually. So, advance demerits for that.

Um, I guess I’ll have to clear that one up too. 🙄 I am not, any longer, calling myself a Paleo-Con or Paleo-Pat. Why? It become quite apparent to me that the whole Paleo-Con/Neo-Con thing is really about a bunch of sour pusses, who really just resented former Democrats coming over to the Conservative, not to mention monolithic hatred of Jews and other Minorities.  While I have mad respect for the Paleo-Cons/Libertarians on fiscal issues; the good majority of which are just not grounded in reality. The Paleo-Cons and libertarians or Ron Paul people, if you wanna call them that; want to live in a Utopian society. Some of them a Non-Jewish, all white society. Having said all that, Yes, I disagree with Bush’s Wilsonian foreign policy. Something that is, admittedly, progressive in nature; as Glenn Beck rightly points out on his show. But, unlike the Paleo-Con’s and libertarians, I do believe that the war on terror is quite the reality. However, I highly dislike the idea of nation building. But I am not overly ideological about it.  I believe pragmatism goes a long way in dealing with the issues of the World, than does being a stubborn ideologue. That’s the whole problem of the Paleo-Con and libertarian crowd. They’re just too damn rooted in a isolationist and protectionist ideology. So, to Donald, Richard Spencer I am not! 😀

That said, Patrick whines a lot about not getting FMJA links, so I’ll toss him a bone. Nice videos as well, although I quite dig that one at the sidebar — obviously an early rendition of “Purple Haze,” raw in its styling and percussion.

I mean, even HotAir covered this and dismissed it. Did they bother to mention that? Nope. Which is why I never bothered blogging about it. Most usually, if a story doesn’t pass AllahPundit’s or Ed’s smell test, I usually refrain.

I seem to remember that on March 4, 2010, word came that a liberal satirist blogger, Al Weisel AKA as Jon Swift passed away. I, thinking that no one on my side of political aisle cared, wrote a rather harsh piece.  Well, it turned out that many Bloggers on the Conservative side of the aisle liked the guy and went out of their way to remember the guy. I even dedicated a music video to the damned guy.  Much class was shown that day, and I had hoped that my actions would be the start of the beginning of civility in this Blogosphere. Maybe that was too lofty of a goal.

The point I am trying to make is this; why the hell does someone have to die in the blogosphere or anywhere else for that matter; for anyone to even remotely try and show any respect to that person?

I say all this, because I have flogged time and time again for some of the stuff that I have said on here. I have even lost advertisers because of something I did once on this blog. But, yet, this guy gets a free pass? Unbelievable. 🙄

Remember folks, THIS is your Democratic Party of today. Do you really want to vote for people that promote this sort of vile filth? Think about it.

As I wrote last night on here, I did watch the Oscars.  I happened to enjoy the show myself.  Maybe it is because the show holds such a historical role in America life.  I am a history buff, after all.  After the show, I did come back to the laptop, fired up the browser, and checked my vast amount of RSS feeds that I do monitor via iGoogle.  The first RSS feed that I happened to have there, was Charles Foster Johnson’s Blog, which is named little green footballs.  I should point out, that the only reason it was “first”, meaning the first one on the top left, is because it was last one I had added, in like a long while —- not because I really liked the man or anything silly.

Having said all of the above, I happen to come across this article by Robert Stacy McCain this morning and I figured that it would be a good set up for relaying a bit of news. It appears that Charles Foster Johnson has finally pointed his collectivist McCarthyism Blogger guns at me.  Last night, when I attempted to open Mr. Johnson’s Blog, I saw the following:

The reason this whole amuses me so much, is the fact that I actually defended the man’s right to ban trolls from his blog. Oh, Yes, I know, I did criticize him for some of his more idiotic actions, like lying about Pamela Geller, and other such nonsense.  The way I see it, if you cannot handle criticism, you have no business being in this blogosphere at all.  In fact, Charles Johnson’s Blog was in my “Left Voices” Column Bloggroll for a good long while, which I did explain here. I even on one occasion did mention in a blog posting, that I thought e-mailing Charles Johnson and accusing him of Homosexuality was quite lame;  Although, I will confess to taking part in some of that jesting myself on other blogs. Way I see it; I have been accused of the same thing myself and I was simply passing on the jesting that I have received myself to someone else.  I also now see that Mr. Johnson is unable to take a joke.

Having written the above, I will simply say this.  It really does not matter.  In fact, Charles Foster Johnson does not even matter any longer.  Johnson’s relevance came into question, when he turned against Pamela Geller.  Charles Johnson’s Blog came into its own, after he exposed some rather lame yellow journalism by Dan Rather’s Producer on a story about President George W. Bush’s Military service.  Other than that, Charles Johnson’s only other news worthy item is his Blogging against Islamic Jihad.  This, quite honestly, is not nearly as pointed as it once was.  In fact, there have been blog postings, which have been flagged by other Jewish Bloggers as pointedly Anti-Jewish.  I do not go as far as to say Anti-Semitic, as that is a bit of an extreme charge. However, I believe Anti-Israel, and possibly Anti-Jewish is a fair charge.

The reason why this really makes me laugh is that I have criticized others before; Andrew Sullivan, Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com, Stacy McCain, Michelle Malkin, and many others; have they blocked me from viewing their Blogs?  No, they have not.  Because they know that, a Blog is public website and to through the trouble to ban someone from actually viewing a blog is the epitome of lame.  In fact, I even considered doing the same thing, because of the attacks of the trolls on this site.  However, I figured that doing that sort of thing was an overreach power on my part.  My Blog is a public site and I believe everyone should be able to read it — Even if the readers do not agree — this is their personal right.  I believe in diversity of opinion, unlike some liberals, like Mr. Johnson.

In conclusion, I consider this a badge of honor.  It comes with the territory.  It reflects more on Mr. Johnson than it does me.  I pity the man; he has become his own island.  For that, he has become a much poorer man.

I personally do not give a damn what your politics is; but when one of us free wheeling writing types decides to check out this existence we call life, it is never a good thing.

Yeah, we lost another voice in this political debate.

There is a thing called real life and real damned people live in it, and when a family loses someone they love dearly. Quite bluntly, it sucks donkey balls.

Well, He did once…. and some asshole bitched about it; because I am a former lefty, that created my share of controversy when I was on that side of the fence.

It might also be because I happen to highly dislike that two-bit Faux-Conservative Jew that hosts his Blog too. I call him a Jew, not because I am a hater, anti-Semite or anything like that. I call him a Jew, because that is what the hell he is.

Just sayin’

You don’t call yourself a f’ing Conservative and produce videos that make us look like damn buffoons. Plus, they rejected a article by a blogger, that I felt was legit. Because they were afraid that it would upset some investors. Then there was this little incident too. I mean, we white rust belters must stick together.  You don’t screw someone over, that I happen to think is very cool and then expect me not to react to it.
