Desperate Progressives Accusing Glenn Beck of being a Nazi and play the ‘Jew Card’

You know that progressives are scared out of their minds, when you start reading headlines like this: (H/T American Conservative Values)

Glenn Beck’s eliminationist attacks on progressives: How long before someone acts on this violent rhetoric?

To wild applause, he labeled this alleged tumor of “community” the supposedly evil “progressivism” — and he told disciples to “eradicate it” from the nation.

The lesson was eminently clear, coming in no less than the keynote address to one of America’s most important political conventions. Beck taught us that a once-principled conservative movement of reasoned activists has turned into a mob — one that does not engage in civilized battles of ideas. Instead, these torch-carriers, gun-brandishers and tea partiers follow an anti-government terrorist attack by cheering a demagogue’s demand for the physical annihilation of those with whom he disagrees — namely anyone, but particularly progressives, who value “community.”

Glenn Beck Finally Admitted His Great Desire: To ‘Eradicate’ Progressives

The lesson was eminently clear, coming in no less than the keynote address to one of America’s most important political conventions. Beck taught us that a once-principled conservative movement of reasoned activists has turned into a mob — one that does not engage in civilized battles of ideas. Instead, these torch-carriers, gun-brandishers and tea partiers follow an anti-government terrorist attack by cheering a demagogue’s demand for the physical annihilation of those with whom he disagrees — namely anyone, but particularly progressives, who value “community.”

Glenn Beck is a menace to civil society

You know I try to ignore Fox’s favorite idiot pundit but his speech at CPAC keeps coming back to me. He’s gone beyond relatively harmless kooky conspiracy theories into actively, if subliminally, promoting violence again…What motivates this kind of talk and behavior is called eliminationism: a politics and a culture that shuns dialogue and the democratic exchange of ideas in favor of the pursuit of outright elimination of the opposing side, either through suppression, exile, and ejection, or extermination.

But the one that really, really blew me away was this one here:

When Glenn Beck spits ‘progressive’ does anyone else hear ‘Jew’?

As someone who has been studying far right bigotry for 17 years now, I listen to this compilation of Glenn Beck talking about “progressives,” and I hear the same bigotry used to smear Jews over the years – but instead now the word being used instead of “Jew” is “progressive.”

Wow….. Just….Wow…. 😮 I had thought that John Aravosis was a bit more smarter than that. I guess I was wrong. Which is living proof that Progressive Liberalism is a mental disorder and that Homosexuality is an altered mental state. Anyone who equates Glenn Beck’s hatred of the Progressive movement to Hitler’s madness is idiot, plain and simple. I believe Jews everywhere ought to be screaming from the rafters about this one. I know if I were a Jewish person, I would be! 😡 For the doubters, I can assure you that you will never hear Glenn Beck calling for Progressives to be gassed or burned alive in crematoriums. Voted out of office, perhaps. But nothing more than that.  Further more, Glenn Beck also distinguishes between your standard Democrat and Liberal; and the far left Progressives, or as I like to call them; Neo-Marxists.

Just more reasons why I will never vote for Democratic Party candidate, ever again. Because if this is what the Democratic Party voters and their candidates believe, than I want nothing to do with it. The Democratic Party is in fact the National representative of the Progressive movement, and if this is feeling of the Progressive Movement, that they somehow are the “New Jews”, then it is over for me. I could never support a party that is now going to don the oppressed hat. That is idiotic at best.

Further more, the very idea that Glenn Beck himself could even inspire anyone to commit acts of violence is quite preposterous. I sometimes watch Glenn Beck, and I have never been inspired to commit violence against anyone who disagrees with my politics. Otherwise, my own parents would be dead! 😉  The inconvenient truth is, anyone who actually goes out and attempts to or does actually kill someone or a group of people of whom their politics clash has something going wrong in the gray matter upstairs.  It is a fact, right after the story broke about Joe Stack, who crashed his plane into the IRS office in Texas, Glenn Beck denounced the man as a “Whack Job” and make it very clear that he did not support any kind of violence at all.

The fact is that the Neo-Marxist, Progressive left is now feeling the heat and are being backed into a corner and they are doing everything in their power now to lash out and discredit those who are against their agenda. Whether this is coming on orders from the White House or not, remains to be seen. In fact, these articles quoted reek of the desperation of the Progressive Left and we can look forward to this sort of thing, leading up to the November elections. The Progressives are scared and are worried that everything that they worked for, could go up in smoke. For freedom loving Americans like me, this is a very good thing. I would love to see jobs back in this State, but as long as Progressive politics is controlling Michigan, we will never see those jobs.

So, to Glenn Beck; Keep sticking it to these bastards. They are running scared and are now playing the victim card.

HotAir.com’s Ed Morrissey Honored by Rush Limbaugh

I agree 100% with AllahPundit, Ed Morrissey is highly deserving of this honor:

I will admit it, I have not always agreed with Ed. In fact, I have been known to jump his butt, when I thought he needed it. I’ve even flamed him a good one in e-mail once, because I thought he was being unfair, and a bit hypocritical. But, as always, Ed always handled everything with class. I will also make a stunning admission. For a Detroit native former Democratic party voter. I agree with a good 90% of what Ed writes.

Ed Morrissey is one of the more saner voices in the Right Wing Blogosphere. He does not go for the paranoid, shrieking headlines, that grace such places as, maybe, WorldNetDaily and some of the other Right Wing sites out there. He goes for the truth; and the my friends is a rarity on our side of the fence.  It all boils down to a simple thing that is not found in Journalism or even politics much anymore. That simple thing is integrity. This is why Ed’s work is better than most, the man has integrity. Even if you do not agree with his political point, that he might be trying to score —- you do have to admit that he does speak the truth.  That my friends goes a long way in writing, in blogging and in life in general.

So, yeah, Ed’s a good man. But the next time he writes something stupid about G.M or the unions — Oh, It’s on baby. 😉 😛 😀 😆

Why do Conservatives do dumb stuff like this?

Jim Hoft, who has been known to link to White Nationalist websites, links to some far right wing Blogger. Who takes his camera and goes after some liberal journalist. He gets bumped and whines about it.

Click the picture to watch the video:

As I wrote on this idiot’s blog. Dude, I would kicked you square in the fucking balls and called the damn cops. You were acting like a total fucking asshole. You being a Conservative, does not entitle you to act like some fucking asshole with a Camera. Then to top it off, when you actually got bumped, which really didn’t amount to anything serious; you start acting like a fucking asshole and then go whine about it on your blog. In short, you were acting like some fucking idiot liberal. Grow up and quite bringing a bad name to the Conservative movement.  ya damn tool. 🙄

That is all.

HotAir.com Acquired by Salem Communications

Whew. My body clock picked the wrong time go all wonky. 😯

Mediaite has the story:

CPAC hasn’t even officially started and already its making news. Mediaite has learned that leading center-right web site Hot Air has been acquired by Salem Communications for an undisclosed sum. Sources close to the deal claim that Michelle Malkin, the conservative pundit and sole owner of Hot Air, has been in talks with Salem for some time, but the announcement was timed to coincide with the Conservative Political Action Conference, which opens tomorrow in Washington D.C.

Hot Air is one of the biggest, most influential conservative sites on the Web and was launched on April 24, 2006, with Michelle Malkin as founder/CEO (though she remains editorially focused on her own blog MichelleMalkin.com and her own writing and television appearances.) Hot Air is managed on a day-to-day basis by editors Ed Morrissey and the mysterious AllahPundit, who are reported to be part of the deal in the sale of to Salem, and absolutely essential to the core value of Hot Air. We are told that, from a user’s perspective, Hot Air will remain the same despite the change in ownership.

Admittedly, I am a daily reader of HotAir.com, and I have been for a long time. I sort of knew something of this nature was coming. I just did not know what or when. So, this really does not come as any surprise to me at all. My best wishes to Ed and yes, to Allah as well. I hope that it all works out for both of them.

The Blog reactions are mixed, and some are quite funny:

Of Course, Ed’s reaction is “No Comment!

Joe over at the Moderate Voice, “Someone Bought Congress??!?

Ben Smith at The Politico: “This is, among other things, a mark of how hard it’s getting to talk about “old” and “new” media, as one buys the other.”

Robert Stacy McCain lets it fly:

“This certainly should be interesting”

“Congratulations to Michelle Malkin on divesting herself of the atheist Eeyore — at a handsome profit, we certainly hope.”

“While I’m always for rent, no one has yet tried to buy me. On the other hand, I’ve had several lucrative offers for Smitty . . .”

I am assuming those offers came from all endowed women. 😉

James Joyner, as always, is bit more civilized than the rest of us crazies:

One presumes that Salem is sincere on this score, in that the Hot Air property will lose most of its value if it becomes something other than what readers expect.   And Morrissey’s word on this has additional weight, in that he made the transition from his own solo site (Captain’s Quarters) to the more red meat-oriented Hot Air with no discernible change in his style or editorial choices.

And hearty congrats to Michelle Malkin on what one presumes was a lucrative buy-out.  While her politics are harder right than mine and her writing style more polemical, she’s a sweet lady and an incredibly hard worker.  She got started blogging more than a year after I did but hit the ground running, instantly figuring out how the game was played and doing it better than just about anyone else.  She’s managed to spin off the success of her eponymous blog into the Hot Air project, which became even bigger.

Guy Benson over at NRO writes:

Ed and Allahpundit do excellent work and thrive in the site’s entertaining, accessible and informative format.

What a suck up! I kid I kid!!! 😉

Another Black Conservative:

I wonder if this means that Michelle Malkin will be blogging more often at her site?  Hey Michelle, if you need an extra hand now, I know a certain black conservative with some extra time on his hands…

Ace says it’s all about “Crazy Blog Money”:

Salem also owns Townhall.

Good for them!

Little Miss Whatshername ain’t happy about it.

Instapundit: “Is InstaPundit for sale, you ask? A better question: Who would buy it?”

and even more reaction:

Again, my best to Ed and to Allah. This can only be a good thing for those guys. Onward and upward! 😀

Seriously Dan, is this the best you have?

The dude disagrees with Megan McCain and the best this moron can do is mock her damned weight? 😡

How fucking Juvenile can you be? 🙄

This is the same asshole, who offered up my IP address to anyone who wanted it; all because I said something about Obama, that he deemed racist. But the very next day publishes the very unfunny and quite racist “OSAMA-OBAMA’ moniker on his own damned blog. He removed it, after I said something about it. I wish I had screen capped it, but I didn’t.

This is the stupidity that I refer to in my Blog’s subtitle at the top.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Dan Riehl.

Another Update on Jim Treacher

This poor guy really has it bed. Thoughts are with him.

I’m typing this from a hospital bed, with an oxygen monitor on my finger that’s making it difficult to navigate the keyboard. I’m going to ask the nurse to move the monitor to one of my toes, because I can’t quite do it myself yet. My left leg is wrapped in bandages and locked into what they call an immobilizer, which is very aptly named. I can’t move anything from my hip to my ankle, nor do i want to. Everything in-between hurts because of the shattered tibia I suffered Wednesday night when I was crossing the street, within the crosswalk, with the light, and a State Department security officer named Mike McGuinn made an illegal left turn and ran right into me. This happened on 22nd and M, not 26th and M as specified on the jaywalking citation I was issued that same evening.

But this is supposed to be a medical status update, so let’s get back to that. I’m not clear on all the technical details, but during the surgery, basically they had to take all the broken pieces of bone and stick them together with some sort of bone paste. They shaped a new bone out of that. And then there’s a piece of metal attached to something somewhere, but again, I’ll have to get back to you on the details. Knee injuries can be pretty complex, I guess. So that’s on the outside of my knee. There’s still some weird stuff going on deeper inside, with torn cartilage and stuff, but I’m not exactly sure how that heals up. They’ve still got some more work to do. I’ll need to do some more reading on this sort of knee injury. I’m not a doctor. I just know it hurts like hell.

Just when you think you got it bad, you read stuff like this and you remember; life ain’t so bad after all.

Robert Stacy McCain, Charles Johnson and Yours Truly

A bit of a more direct follow up to my last posting.

I went back, and looked at the original e-mails exchanged between Me and R.S. McCain, which were also CC’ed to Smitty.

Here’s what happened, I sent R.S. McCain (and Smitty) a e-mail requesting linkage to this posting here. In this e-mail, I TOLD Mr. McCain that the posting would NOT go live till 9:00 A.M. EST. He writes me back the following:

Stacy,

Would it be too much to ask to get a money bomb going for this guy here?

http://www.politicalbyline.com/2010/02/02/guest-voice-update-from-mike-bouchard/

The posting will be live at 9:00 A.M. EST.

I want to see a Republican, a damn good Republican win the Michigan Governor’s race. Democrats have bankrupted this state good. We need jobs, not more Democratic Party B.S.

Thanks,

Notice the time I have highlighted up there?

Two things that come to mind. Either Stacy is a complete DOLT, when it comes to blogging and has zero clue what a scheduled posting means or what the term “go live” means, or he needs to buy a watch! Most likely both. 🙄

“Okay, so why’d you blow your stack at McCain?”

Mainly because I figured that he was just being a prick about me not liking Palin. Especially after reading this posting here. Especially, after I had written this posting here. I still feel the same way, Palin endorsed a guy who’s got some questionable stuff in his closet, not to mention friends.

For those of you who think I am turning into Charles Foster Johnson Jr.

I have one thing to say —- With due respect to my Black and Latino friends in Southwest Detroit:

NIGGA PLEASE! 🙄

Speaking of him, can we please stop with this sort of stupidity with him already? Yes, I know what he did to Pamela Galler; I thought it was awful, I know he parted ways with the “right.” Fine, he did, c’est la vie, stuff happens, serves those right for assuming something that wasn’t. Sending stuff that makes us all look rather dumb. (Like I really need any help with that, as you can see above….)

So, to Robert Stacy McCain. I apologize for flying off the handle. I do that sometimes. I have an excuse — a very weak one, but it’s an excuse. My left shoulder/Arm/Neck area has been KILLING ME, for the last few days. I’ve been a bit grumpy as a result of it. Quite Bluntly; This shit hurts like hell. I am not really sure what I did, I believe I slept funny or something. This has happened before and yes, it was very painful. Took a few days for me to get over it.

So, to ALL of his friends — NO I am not going to turn into another asshole stalker with a hard on for RSM. I just felt it a bit fishy, I still do. I just do not really know Stacy all that well and I assumed something. It happens.

That is all.

Cutting bait

I hate having to do it.  However, I believe in standing up for one’s convictions.  Therefore, if you look in my Blogroll section, you will see that I removed two names.  I did this because I am sick and tired of the little game being played by a Blogger, of whom I will never link to again; the game is this, if you do not support Sarah Palin, I will not link to you or anything.  I requested some help and was told barefaced lie; all because I happen to think, Sarah Palin is an idiot dolt.  I hate to be a prick about it, but two can play that game.  Say goodbye to your place on my blogroll sir.

Therefore, In essence, I am cutting bait with him and his crowd.  Oh, I am not joining the left.  I am just going to be quite selective whom I associate myself with from now on. I may do some more removing of names that I really do not feel comfortable having on my blog. I tried the “Do not harm” approach and I see it is getting me nowhere.  That is, because if you do not fit in with their little clan, (or should I say Klan?) you are ignored, lied to, and so forth.

I tried to be the nice person, I tried to look past other people’s opinions; but it just did not work.  Therefore, I am done with it.  From here on out, I am looking out for me and myself only.  Screw the rest of them.

Blogger Gary Farber needs YOUR Help Now!

Politics is one thing, real life is another. Gary Farber is a blogger. Who’s politics is most likely to left of mine and most of you who might read here. (Maybe…) Gary’s out there in the real world and does not have a support system.

Therefore I am asking all of the readers of this blog to head on over and give Gary a helping hand. There are times my friends, that we must put partisanship aside, and show the goodness that is America. Remember my friends, the only difference between you, me and Gary Farber is that we have been fortunate, and alas, Gary has not. I am asking you as a Christian. To put aside your politics for one second and head on over to his blog and make a nice donation. As someone who has been through my own share of misfortunes in the last few years; I would be the last person to turn my nose up at someone who is in a worse position than me. I would not be able to sleep at night, if I did.

Remember:

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. – Matthew 7:12 (KJV)

Rejoice with them that do rejoice , and weep with them that weep . Be of the same mind one toward another . Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written , Vengeance is mine; I will repay , saith the Lord.  Therefore if thine enemy hunger , feed him; if he thirst , give him drink : for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. – Romans 12:15-21

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law , and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away . Ye have heard that it hath been said , Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye ? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.  – Matthew 5:39-48 (King James Version)

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy : for, behold , your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full ! for ye shall hunger . Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep . Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. But I say unto you which hear , Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again . And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. — Luke 6:23-33 (King James Version)

I think those reasons should suffice. Go now and do what is right.

Updated – I feel the need to clear some things up

As you all know, I had a run in with a dude calling himself the “Fat Libertarian“, In his final e-mail to me, he made this little quip, which I found to be most humorous:

Websites like yours and Hotair make a living going after Ron Paul.  So when people who like Ron Paul who believe in his principles defend him, you don’t expect some debate to happen?

The only reason I filmed your blog was because you revealed a level of stupidity that I thought was newsworthy for a relatively popular blog.

I understand you have more blogging to do, so get to it.  Consider this “debate” over.

His snide remark about me being stupid aside, I do believe this guy in under some impression that my blog is like one of the big dog’s in the “Right Wing”, if you will, Blogosphere.

Well, that’s certainly news to me!

I’m going to share to some screen shots here…

First off I hardly consider this to be making a living:

I hardly consider this to be making a living...(click to make bigger)

So much for that guy who's making a living off of Ron Paul eh?

That 199.84 was for one month, there was time, when I was lucky if I cleared like 30 bucks in a month. Note, when adsense pays me come the 28’th of this month, I will not get all of this, I may walk away with around $140.00 or so, If I am lucky. Adsense is all Pay per click…

Boy, look at all that money I make from ripping on Ron Paul... NOT!

Boy, look at all that money I make from ripping on Ron Paul... NOT!

These stats are from Connect Commerce, which was bought out by Google. It’s all pay per action ads. It’s the ones, like that ad with jeep on the left. I’ve made exactly jack shit on those ads, so far. Not one person has bought a single thing, yet. So, much for rolling in the dough eh? To be fair, I just joined the program, with the promise from them, that I’d be swimming in the dough in no time flat… So much for that… 🙄 I knew better, but I am a sucker for a good sales pitch.

But say, “Oh he must be making money on those inline text links!”

Well, um, here’s the screenshot:

Look at all that BIG MONEY! NOT!

I’ve yet to get payment from them as well. So much for that little “talking point” eh?

Now, some of you, including my liberal libertarian buddy may thing I’m swimming in the paypal donations right? Hmmm:

Man, so many donations, I dunno what I will do with all that money... (Yeah, right!)

As for his remarks about me being a popular blogger. Ha! That’s another good one. 🙄

Let’s see here:

My Traffic ranking compaired to other well-known Conservative sites

More of that...

and even more....

And a little bit more....

So, there you have it. Sure, I could sit back here and lie my ass off and tell everyone, “Yeah, I am a big dog..” But, nope, not me. When I get 3200 hits around here, which is not very often, it is a good day. Usually, I bring in about 600 hits… on a good day.

Why am I doing all of this?

Because I believe in honesty. No matter if it hurts me or not. Because I just do not have any ego about this at all. There are some cats that are in this business that have their egos all wrapped up in their blogs and they will do anything to make themselves look good —- including stepping on others. I am just not on that kind of trip at all. I said my piece about Ron Paul and instantly, I am a big blogger on a Neo-Con mission. Nothing could be further from the truth about that.

So, there you have it. Make of it, what thou wilt.

Update: R.S. McCain makes good some points as well. Although, I tend to think that he thought that I was whining. Far from it; I was just being truthful about what I make on this little boondoggle project. Also 600 hits around here is about normal. When the Earthquake in Haiti hit, I blogged on that and my hits went way over 3k. So, it’s a toss. Some days I do well, and some days, I just write. 😉 I just wish that everyone one of those 3k people that visited my blog had kicked 20 bucks into the tipjar. I’d be living easy street then! But, ah well, no complaining here. I’m just happy to have the freedom to write. 😀

A bit more on the Gun Scopes and Bible Verses

Yes, I do know what I wrote here. I assumed everyone would know this, but in case not; I was referring to the Arabs who attacked us on 9/11 and those who are down with the whole idea of Jihad, not all of them.

However, I happened to read something over at a blog, of who’s author has criticized me in the past. Which, by the way, is his right to do. Anyhow, I happened to read this here and I felt the need to quote it here.

Ed Brayton writes about a message sent to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation:

To: Mikey Wenstein and MRFF:

I am a U.S. Army infantry soldier with the rank of (rank withheld). I am married with children. I am stationed at Fort (installation name withheld). I have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times. I have been awarded medals for direct combat engagement as well as for injuries and wounds received in hand-to-hand combat. I am a Muslim American. My family converted when I was very young. I am caucasian and have a last name that does not sound ethnic. Therefore, few of my fellow soldiers know that I am a Muslim. My wife comes from a Christian tradition but rarely practices or attends church. I have witnessed terrible religious persecution in the my (number withheld) years in the Army. Most of it comes from “angry” conservative Christians in my unit chains of command and occasionally from my fellow infantry soldiers. I am very familiar with the Trijicon ACOG gunsights and have often had them as part of my personal weapons; both my M-4 and my M-16. In my first 2 deployments I saw and experienced no incidents regarding the New Testament bible quotes that are written on the metal casing of the gun sights. Many soldiers know of them and are very confused as to why they are there and what it is supposed to mean. Everyone is worried that if they were captured in combat that the enemy would use the bible quotes against them in captivity or some other form of propaganda. As an American soldier I am ashamed that those bible quotes are on our primary weapons. As a Muslim American I am horrified. As one who swore his oath to the Constitution, I am driven to fight this Christian insanity but I know if I try to do so in a visible way that I will suffer at the hands of my military superiors. I am of low enlisted rank and can be crushed easily. I am prepared to suffer, but I am not prepared for my wife and children to suffer. So I have reached out to MRFF because there is nowhere else safe to go to try to fight this thing of disgrace. There are many other soldiers who feel as I do. Many are Protestant and Catholic and they fear reprisal just as much as I do for trying to stand up to the Christian bullies in uniform who outrank us. But if you try to fight back, you are not “asking” for trouble, YOU ARE IN TROUBLE from the start. And if you are a Muslim American, the hatred is always just below the surface and ready to explode at a moment’s notice. After the Fort Hood shootings, it was so bad, even for a low profile Muslim like me, that I had to ask MRFF for help.

Nothing in my first 2 deployments prepared me for what happened with the Trijicon ACOG gun sights during my 3rd deployment to Afghanistan. I will never forget the day it occurred. It was morning and there was a mandatory formation of several companies. A very senior NCO was yelling at us which is not that unusual. He asked a private what it was that he (the private) was holding in his hand and the private said it was his “weapon” several times to which the senior NCO replied “and what ELSE is it”? FInally, the senior NCO said that the private’s rifle was also something else; that because of the biblical quote on the ACOG gunsight it had been “spiritually transformed into the Fire Arm of Jesus Christ” and that we would be expected to kill every “haji” we could find with it. He said that if we were to run out of ammo, then the rifle would become the “spiritually transformed club of Jesus Christ” and that we should “bust open the head of every haji we find with it.” He said that Uncle Sam had seen fit not to give us a “pussy ‘Jewzzi’ (combination of the word ‘Jew’ and Israeli made weapon ‘Uzi’) but the “fire arm of Jesus Christ” and made specific mention of the biblical quotes on our gun sights. He said that the enemy no doubt had quotes from the Koran on their guns but that “our Lord is bigger than theirs because theirs is a fraud and an idol”. As a Muslim and an American soldier I was fit to be tied but I kept it in. There were many Afghans, both civilian and military, on base within earshot of what was being yelled at us and I can only wonder in shock what they must have thought. This senior NCO was apparently also the head person of a conservative, crazy Christian group called the “Christian Military Fellowship” and made a big deal about the importance of joining to everyone. He told us all that we MUST read a book called “Under Orders” in order to make it through this combat deployment and said he had many copies for everyone. Some of my friends went and got their copies. I refused. Finally, this senior NCO ended his yelling by warning us that if we did not “get right with Jesus” then our rifles would not provide spiritual strength despite the bible quotes on our ACOG gunsights and that we would be considered “spiritual cripples” to our fellow units and soldiers. He didn’t say it in so many words, but the message was clear; if anything bad happened in a combat situation, it would be the fault of anyone who had not accepted Jesus Chris in the “right way”. I have never felt so ashamed and scared in my life. I have never hated myself so much for not speaking out. So I thought of my wife and children and endured. Every time I looked at my rifle with that Trijicon ACOG gunsight/scope with the biblical quote from the book of John (8:12), it would make me sick. If I had tried to protest, it would have made me dead. And if I’m dead I’m of no use to my wife and children.

To which Ed adds:

I’m at a loss for words. “Appalling” seems inadequate.

Now, I realize that what I wrote at the other posting was a bit rough, okay? For the most part, I was being quite snarky. Further more, I was referring to the Arabs who are in the arena of Jihad against America. Yes, I do believe that this a war of ideals and yes, it does happen to involve “Christian Americans” (Not in the sense of CHURCH per se, but rather of culture and ideals.) However, as someone that does believe quite highly in the SEPARATION of Church and State —– Yes, I do realize that the actual wording is not found in the Constitution, however, our founding fathers did believe in it and the concept is there. In fact, Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptists the following:

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.

Thomas Jefferson believed that, and so do I. Therefore, I believe, on constitutional grounds that these sights with the scriptures on them should be removed. We must remember that there are AMERICANS fighting this war on terror, not just Christian Americans; but Muslim Americans, Jewish Americans, and Americans of ALL Faiths are fighting against a backward ideology that seeks to destroy our Country.

I realize that some Christians and some Conservatives will not agree with me and might even accuse me of being a phony for writing this. But, Hey, it is the price one must pay to stand for something that is absolutely right.

So, to Ed Brayton, I say this, you might not like me one bit and that is your right. But this time, you are absolutely correct.

FARK is owned and ran by Liberal Fascists

Apparently, they’ve blocked me from submitting my content over there. Which just proves to me that Socialist Liberals are nothing more than fascists.

Word to the wise, if you are a Conservative Blogger, do not try to use FARK to promote your content or you will be blocked. It is because FARK is owned and operated by fascist socialist liberals, who hate everything related to Conservatism and Republicanism and they will block you, if you use their service. Which is quite sad, and proves what I have known for a long time, socialist liberals do NOT want a diversity of opinions, they want to control the message and silence dissent.

I guess Jonah Goldberg was absolutely correct.

Thanks guys for proving my point for me.

Here’s the book to read:

Gun Blogger loses his job, could use some help

Normally, I would not care; but this is for someone who believes in the Second Amendment and I believe in that whole “What goes around, comes around” and “Reaping and Sowing” thing. Plus, there’s nothing like good JuJu.. so… Let’s help.

Apparently, this guy has a Gun Holster Business:

Then, there’s holsters and other things. Folks, currently my holster business is about my only business. If you want a really nice, full-custom holster quick; well, now would be the time to place your order. If I can take orders for about six holsters, I don’t have to go to work in ten days. My brother and I have mused for years of opening a custom shop, specializing in ultra high-end guitar equipment, home audio, and furnishings. Currently, we’ve got a personal project going with an analog 7.1-surround switcher in stainless steel and English Yew. I’d love to make my money building tube amps and the wildest couches and coffee tables that you’ve ever seen. This does not by any means exclude the holster business. There is certainly a place for that in my future.

So, if you have a 6 shooter or something in that department, give this guy a ring dingy and let him make you a holster.

I mean, it’s one thing to be a fat assed unemployed idiot like me, who’s living with his Mommy and Daddy and gets three squares a day and has a roof over his head. But when you are out there in the wild, with no safety net, it is a whole other ballgame. So, get on over there and help this dude out.

Hat Tip and thanks to Say Uncle, who happens to be one the better gun Bloggers out there.

Michelle Malkin gets it wrong

I hate to be the one to do this; but, seeing she’s not answering my e-mail.

Michelle Malkin royally screws one up.

She links to this story here, about a container of PETN getting punctured with the comment of:

Okay, how does this just happen?

However, if you actually click to the website and look, you will see this:

Morehead City Mayor Jerry Jones says a forklift operator accidentally punctured at least one container filled with PETN, forcing the port to shut down.

Has Malkin corrected the damn story? No. 🙄

Do not misunderstand me here, I am all for the reporting and exposing of Islamic Jihad. But, I am not for the stoking of irrational fear and that is what Malkin is doing here; she’s feeding a damned talking point.

My feeling is, either report factual information and responsible enough to post updated info, or don’t bother posting at all.

Michelle is better than this; but yet, she does it anyway. It is quite disgusting. Color me unimpressed.

Countdown to Malkin-bots calling me a racist, sexist, and whatever else in 5….4….3…2…

One of the many reasons why I do not buy into the birther nonsense

Oh brother, this again?

If you thought 2010 was the future, think again. A phony new email chain letter — one of the antiquated viral sort leftover from the AOL era — is claiming that the case against President Barack Obama’s citizenship has reached the Supreme Court, based on a forged and typo-riddled Associated Press “report.”

The birther movement of angry citizens who believe President Obama was not born in the country and is thus ineligible to be president seemed to lose steam in the year since the 2008 election, but this new email spreading takes the accusations to a new level of ridiculousness based on fake news done poorly.

via Birther Chain Email Uses Fake AP Story To Question Obama’s Citizenship – Mediaite.

This is the main reason why I quit giving that birther crap any space on my blog. Because they know they are wrong. But that will not stop them. What they cannot prove; they make up. Which is horrible, but they are entitled to free speech, like everyone else — like me.

The problem is, there are well-meaning Conservatives, who actually believe this bunch of nonsense. The problem is, not many of them know this theory’s origins; which was on the White Nationalist website, Stormfront. It was then picked up operatives in the Hillary Clinton campaign, and then finally by political operatives within the Republican Party. It was quickly dumped by the Republicans and somewhat by the Hillary people. But it still festers out there. There are some, who are still angry at Obama from the Hillary camp, and some angry Republicans, who still, to this day, forward these e-mails around. It is, as Charles Johnson noted in the interview that I posted, a nuanced racial message, that basically says, “Go back to Africa, nigger!” I will be the first to admit it, there are some racists still in the ranks of Conservatives, especially in the south. Some of these people, at some point may have voted Democrat. Some not. It depends entirely on the person. This is not to say, that they all are, but there are some who hold that well-nuanced feeling towards blacks.

I think one of tragedies of the Conservative Blogosphere is that some of them, including me, got caught up into that birther nonsense. Especially when Orly Taitz started bringing out her “supposed” Birth Certificates. I was burned on that story once; it will never happen again, I can assure you of that.  I went as far as to add a retraction to the story and went out of my way to slam that pathetic woman, for even trying to deceive the American people. I also slammed the owner of WorldNetDaily for giving Taitz the space to spout her nonsense too. Most of the rest that covered it, never bothered, and that to me, is a real issue. I mean, if you going to cover a story, at least have the common decency to say that it was a hoax.

Charles Johnson does BloggingHeads.tv

I am presenting this video, because quite frankly, I feel that in some, not all, instances Charles Johnson has gotten a bad rap on the right, especially by those who are to the right of me.

Here are the things that I did NOT agree with at all or did not like in the video:

  1. The accusation that Robert Stacy McCain is a Racist Bigot; that is, I am afraid, utter nonsense. If I thought that Mr. McCain was even slightly like that, I would never, ever link to his Blog.
  2. Conn Carroll’s idiotic eye rolling and childish facial gestures in the video, if you do not agree with someone, just say so and move the hell on, do not act like a child. Further, his badgering of Charles on his position on Abortion, which is a classical libertarian position, that it should be a state issue was idiotic, classless, and lame; shame on Conn for this.

Here are the things that I do agree with:

  1. Global Warming: I agree that it is not a hoax, however, like Charles; I believe that it has been terribly politicized to the point that even the scientific data has possibly even been altered.
  2. On the racist imagery at the Tea party protests. Yes, I saw the watch doctor signs and yes, I thought they were highly offensive to me too. Yes, I know what the left did to Bush; does that justify that sort of nonsense? No. It does not. Charles does make a point to say that he does not think everyone at the Protests were racists. I give him that.
  3. I give Charles mad damned props for saying on that video, what I have said on this blog for a while now. The damned Birther controversy is steeped in outright racism. I was one of the first blogs on the right that reported that much of the misinformation that was being passed around about Obama’s citizenship was taken straight from the Anti-Semitic and racist website Stormfront dot org.
  4. Charles Johnson did admit that he was a socially a liberal. Glad he came out and admitted it.
  5. I give props to Charles for admitting that he did not have the information on items thrown at him, this showed that he is not a blowhard, as he is portrayed on the right by some. I believe that stems from his banning of people on his site; which I personal believe he has a right to do.

The thing or things that I agree half, and half disagree with Johnson:

  1. His Paranoia of the Religious Right is obvious. I believe his fears are a bit unfounded. I do not believe that the Religious Right is as big of a threat as Johnson might believe. However, I do agree with his assessment that Religion and politics, just do not mix. I have believed that for years. This is what brought us Ronald Reagan and brought us the disastrous Presidency of George W. Bush.
  2. Another point that I, in a way, agree with Johnson on is the John Birch Society. First, his accusation of the John Birch Society being a racist origination in a monolithic sense is just very ridiculous. However, it is fair to point out, that there were those in the early days of the John Birch Society that were involved in those sorts of affairs. What Johnson does not know, or is not telling; is that the John Birch Society purged itself of those sorts of people back at some point in its history. Further more, Johnson points to William F. Buckley’s basic sidelining of the JBS. The criticism of the John Birch Society, regardless of what you might read or may have heard, boils down to this — The John Birch Society was an non- interventionist group and was, and still is an anti-United Nations Council group. William F. Buckley worked at the United Nations at one point in his career, and he rejected the notion of total non- interventionism; thus the rub between the two parties. As for Johnson’s accusation of conspiracy theories, Johnson either is misinformed or is being purposefully deceitful; but more than likely, he gets his information from leftist sources. The JBS has done more to dismiss these sorts of nonsensical theories, than anyone else has. I know this from reading their site. For what it is worth; I am not, nor have I ever been a member of the JBS. I just actually read their site, instead of making silly assumptions.

There you have it, my take on the video… here’s the video and if you want to give me any crap for posting, feel free, but let me warn you. You start acting like a troll. I do not care who you are. I will kick your sorry butt to the curb, just as I do the rest of the trolls around here.

Here is the video:

Getting my butt tanned, in strange places

No, this is not a posting about adult spanking. (!)

But, Smitty just tanned my butt, three times… (Woo Hoo! 😯 ):

Political Byline seems to imply that the vlog somehow lowered the standard for decency in contribution solicitation.

Heh! Well, it might have something to do with the fact, that the Video reeked of “Please! Send us money!” But, then again, that was the point. 😉

and:

Political Byline was relieved that Stacy will make the trip

Yes, I am. I mean, he did whine about it for a month! 😉

and then there’s this little gem:

Political Byline, having already chided us for our vlog shamelessness, mooched the WordPress theme that we’d freely mooched off the tubey-webs. Now, were hacking the CSS directly, so, for maximum debasement, let us know if we should publish the stylesheet too. ;) (Because we’re chummy like that).

Heh! Actually, there is a reason why I switched; which I explain here. Yes, I did like the theme and I did grab it. I do need to change the header graphic though. Anyone got any ideas?

and one of the funnier lines of the day:

New year. New URL. The FMJRA tradition rolls on. Things have been hectic, dealing with Stacy’s outburst of left-leaning posts, the stress of restraining his desires to re-code the entire site from scratch. Yes, Stacy, we can post executable scripts to the Silver Logic service provider. No, that’s not a good idea. Sheesh. Give a kid a toy…

I now see why Smitty does the backend work and not Stacy…. heh! 😀
