Now to listen to the Democratstalk, now is a time of doom and gloom for them.
However, I have to make a startling confession; I was actually impressed with part of this presser. No, I am not talking about the part where he called the GOP hostage takers and so forth. :roll:I expected that stuff, heck, he is a Liberal Democrat. What else was he supposed to say?!?
I am referring to the part where President Obama basically told the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party folk in Congress, “Hey guys? If you had done your jobs before the primary election, we could not be in this position; so, put a sock in it and be glad that we got what we got from the other side!” That impressed me greatly. Any leader who is willing to stand up to his own party and tell them to “get bent” has my respect.
I tend to believe that this will be the end of the “nice” Barack Obama and might just be the beginning of the savvy stern leader President Barack Obama. One of the biggest complaints about him, is that he was too soft. The President might just be trying to reverse that image. It can’t hurt. I mean, maybe if he actually showed some leadership. It might just help his poll numbers.
I do not expect much praise from the Neo-Con side of the fence, as they’ve made a cottage industry out of being his biggest critics. However, I do offer it, as I am not nearly as into the smear machine as some.
Julian Assange poses a clear and present danger to American national security. The WikiLeaks founder is more than a reckless provocateur. He is aiding and abetting terrorists in their war against America. The administration must take care of the problem – effectively and permanently.
The recent WikiLeaks document dump is the latest example of Mr. Assange’s dangerous behavior. His release of more than 250,000 U.S. diplomatic cables, many of them containing classified information, is a major blow to our foreign policy. The essence of diplomacy – especially that of a great power – is the ability to conduct negotiations and hold talks in secret. Foreign leaders will not be willing to engage in sensitive discussions with American emissaries if their words are going to be splashed across the front pages of the world’s newspapers. Officials in autocratic and Islamist states often risk their lives to cooperate with Washington, usually by providing vital information or advice. They now face a further disincentive to help us: The U.S. government can no longer guarantee the privacy and secrecy of their discussions.
American diplomacy has been crippled. So has our ability to conduct the war on terrorism. For example, the cables cache reveals that the United States is working closely with Yemen’s dictator, Ali Abdullah Saleh, in launching drone strikes against local al Qaeda bases. Al Qaeda has spread to Yemen. Its insurgency is growing. Yemen risks becoming what Afghanistan was before Sept. 11, 2001: a vast sanctuary for jihadists. Mr. Saleh insists that Yemeni public opinion – insular, xenophobic and increasingly Islamic – will not support the U.S. military presence on domestic soil. Hence, he says the pretense must be maintained that Yemen is firing the missiles, not America. This pretense has been shattered – and with it, perhaps, a key ally in the struggle against al Qaeda. Mr. Assange is helping chase the American infidel out of Yemen’s desolate deserts.
[………]
The United States is paying a severe price for Mr. Obama’s negligence. This is the greatest diplomatic crisis since the late 1940s, when communist agents in the U.S. government provided atomic secrets to the Soviet Union. The world is witnessing the absurd, almost surreal spectacle of the American superpower standing helpless in the face of a lone hacker. Her diplomatic secrets are no longer safe; her allies and friends are being betrayed; and her cyber-enemies are free to roam with impunity. America is no longer feared or respected.
Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. vows that he is looking into possible criminal charges against Mr. Assange. It is too late for tough talk. At this point, we are beyond indictments and courts. The damage has been done; people have died – and will die because of the actions of this puerile, self-absorbed narcissist. News reports say the WikiLeaks founder is hiding out in England. If that’s true, we should treat Mr. Assange the same way as other high-value terrorist targets: Kill him
Okay, here is the question that I feel the need to ask. Are we going to kill someone every time some whistle blower decides to speak out and expose some corruption in Government? Because if that is where we are headed, that is a slippery slope we can never recover from. Like anyone else, I am for open Government, I am also for seeing elected officials held accountable. However, if the United States Government and more importantly the United States Military is being put at risk, then by all means, arrest this guy and put him away.
I have no idea what Julian Assange‘s motivation is; whether it is conspiracy theory, politics or if he is just a pompous ass. But the idea of KILLING someone, just because decide to release some confidential information is not something, as a Conservative; who believes in rule of law and not Governmental treachery, that I can support. Because once you unleash that monster onto the American and World Wide Community, it cannot be stopped.
I would think that Jeff Kuhner would be a bit smarter than that. However, when you are working for a paper that basically was a cheerleader for the Bush Administration during the lead up to and during the Iraqi Invasion, one can expect only so much.
Okay, for what it is worth. Yes, I know about this.
Quote:
SEOUL, South Korea — The South Korean military went to “crisis status” on Tuesday and threatened military strikes after the North fired dozens of shells at a South Korean island, killing two of the South’s soldiers and setting off an exchange of fire in one of the most serious clashes between the two sides in decades.
President Lee Myung-bak met with security-related ministers and senior aides in the underground situation room at the Blue House, the presidential office and residence, and promised “a strenuous retaliation” if there was any further provocation, said the chiefpresidential spokesman, Hong Sang-pyo.
The North blamed the South for starting the exchange; the South acknowledged firing test shots in the area but denied that any had fallen in the North’s territory. It was in the same area that a South Korean naval vessel, the Cheonan, was sunk in March, killing 46 sailors. Seoul blamed a North Korean torpedo attack; the North has denied any role.
The United States, Britain and Japan on Tuesday condemned the latest attack. The White House called on North Korea to “halt its belligerent action.” American officials tracking the episode said that a total of 175 artillery shells had been exchanged by the two sides.
The South Korean Defense Ministry said that in addition to the two soldiers who were killed, 15 soldiers and 3 civilians were wounded. There was no immediate sense of the North’s casualties.
Television footage showed large plumes of black smoke spiraling from the island, and news reports said dozens of houses were on fire. The South put its fighter planes on alert but they did not take off.
Now, how do I feel like about this? Well, before I give my personal, Ed Morrissey gives a good assessment of what is happening here:
Attention – The six-party talks have stalled for a while. With their recent disclosure of a new uranium-enrichment facility, this is probably sword-rattling to focus attention on Pyongyang and to get its enemies to cough up more concessions.
Test – Kim has tested the mettle of every American President to determine how committed each is to South Korea’s security. Last year’s provocative missile launches showed that Barack Obama wasn’t committed at all to missile defense, and the sinking of a South Korean ship a few months ago didn’t prompt much more than finger-wagging from Washington. Nor did we do much after seizing a ship exporting banned arms to Burma.
Succession – Kim is very ill, and he needs to secure the succession to the third generation of his family. It will be difficult for any opponents in the military to suppress his son while he has them busy in a Great Patriotic War. It will be especially difficult if this attack nets the DPRK tangible concessions in negotiations with the US and Japan.
Addendum: This incident also shows the anachronistic priorities of the Obama administration on foreign policy and international security. Obama has pressed the Senate for immediate action on a new START treaty, whose predecessor aimed at ending an arms race with a country that literally no longer exists and an enemy that has since stopped being an acute military threat to the US. Meanwhile, the nuclear crises in North Korea and Iran continue apace, with no sense of urgency by this administration except when provocations like this occur
So far, the response has been predictable. China, Kim’s closest ally, has called for a return to the six-party talks — even though the revelation of the new uranium-enrichment facility violates all of the agreements Kim made in that process. If it’s a temper tantrum, it’s getting the desired result, at least for the moment.
The only thing that I have to add to this is this; we should, as much as we possibly can, stay out of this. We should be, which I see now, that we are — putting the pressure on China to take a stand against North Korea. Further more, I think we also should enable, somehow or another; Japan to make it very clear to North Korea, that if they continue this stupidity that they might end up regretting it.
I mean, I consider myself to me a Paleo-Conservative and War is not something that I really look forward to — however, when I see stuff like this here, people that have done nothing at all, getting their houses hit by missiles; that tends to really piss me off. I also believe that we should call this, for what it is — and that is terrorism. Regardless of the motivation, these people were terrorized by some asshole, who is basically being some sort of a attention whoring prima donna. Now, in any other case, I would not use that sort of language to describe a person. But in this case, it is totally appropriate.
Now, as for the Obama Administration; I will refrain from criticizing them. Because I do not believe that any other Republican or even the Bush Administration would do anything different.
Gold has become highly prized bling, as anxious and astute buyers alike, from hedge-fund players to central bankers, flock to the “currency of fear.” Gold at around $1,400 an ounce is almost double what it commanded two years ago, and gold’s price is up almost 25% so far this year alone.
It’s been a great ride. Except gold is a bad investment.
Gold’s feverish run has made a lot of people a lot of money, and though the rally has taken a breather in the last few days, there’s no shortage of flag-waving supporters who claim gold is on a march to $1,600, $1,800, $2,000 and beyond. After all, gold is still well below its 1980 peak, when it was worth around $2,300 an ounce in today’s dollars.
“Mercury poisoning,” is the answer from Barry Ritholtz, the very outspoken CEO and director of equity research at Fusion IQ, when asked where Zoellick’s idea might have come from.
Zoellick, also a former Treasury official in the Reagan administration and managing director at Goldman Sachs, made his suggestion in an op-ed in the Financial Times last Sunday, just days ahead of the Group of 20 major countries meeting in Seoul.
The suggestion was made to world leaders in order to address “global imbalances,” the diplomatic expression being used to refer to the impact of China’s vastly undervalued renminbi on other countries’ competitiveness.
All of the above is pure garbage. Gold is a hedge against inflation and the dollar. Do not listen to the Statists who want to seize all of the gold and give you a worthless dollar.
By the way, here is some SOUND investment advice pertaining to Gold:
There have been some major trend changes recently and it looks as though more investments are about to follow. The real question though is… Are You Ready To Take Advantage Of It?
It has been an exciting ride to say the least with the equities and metals bull market and the plummeting dollar. But it looks as though their time is up, or at least for a few weeks. Traders and investors will slowly pull money off the table to lock in gains or cut losses and re-evaluate the overall market condition before stepping back up to the plate and taking another swing.
Below are a few charts showing some possible money making trade ideas in the weeks ahead.
TBT 20+ Treasury Note Inverse Fund
This fund moves inverse to the price of the 20yr T.N’s also known as bonds. Looking at the chart you can see the recent reversal which took place. We had a great entry point shortly after this reversal took place using my low risk setup strategy.
Falling bond prices are considered to have a negative impact on equities because it implies that interest rates may start rising which means more investors will pull money out of stocks and put that money into a safe interest earning investment. You will typically see bonds change direction before equities. That being said the chart below is an inverse fund, so when this bond fund goes up, it means actually indicates bond yields are falling. I will admit these inverse funds really throw my brain for a loop at time… I prefer the good old days, buying long and selling short… so simple and clean… —- Read the rest Here
I ask you, go read the rest of that; listen to people, like the man at this link, who want to see you make and keep your money. Not force you to trust in an unsound money system, like the United States Dollar. If you are not interested in FTS’s and would to buy actual Gold, then try this link here.
In fact, here is a video that explain why you should own Gold and Silver:

This also explains why I did not vote for him and that moronic bimbo Sarah Palin:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, expressed concern Monday that some new Republican legislators would be defined by their “protectionism and isolationism,” two views that the Vietnam war veteran feared would result in a butting of heads within the party on Afghanistan and defense spending.
“I think there are going to be some tensions within our party,” McCain said during a conference put on by Foreign Policy Initiative, a DC-based think tank. “I worry a lot about the rise of protectionism and isolationism in the Republican Party.”
A prime example, McCain continued, was Rand Paul, Kentucky’s next U.S. Senator.
“I admire his victory, but … already he has talked about withdrawals [and] cuts in defense,” McCain said.
Indeed, Paul appears to have taken after the more libertarian side of foreign policy issues, much like his father, Texas Rep. Rand Paul (R).
They mean Ron Paul. I’ve cracked up watching the media calling Rand, Ron and Ron, Rand. It is quite funny. To review! Ron Paul is from Texas, and Rand Paul is from Kentucky.
The serious point to be made here is that John McCain is trying to follow the foreign policy path that was started by President George W. Bush. That foreign policy, which was Wilsonian in nature, proved to be disastrous for the Republican Party and caused them to lose the 2008 election. The Republican Party, under chairman Steele, has been trying to remake the image of the Republican Party being the party of warmongers. As a Conservative, I believe that protecting and defending the Republic of the United States of America is paramount. However, I believe that forcing our style of Democracy on nations that do not necessarily want it; at the cost of our treasure, that being our Military; is a tragic mistake. This is what happened in Iraq and that will always be a black mark on our record throughout the World.
Someone needs to get the memo to John McCain that the Republican Party has moved on from the Bush era and that the Conservative grassroots has pretty moved on from the Bush era.
Let me also say this; I will avoid taking a swipe at Israel, as I believe that they do have right to exist. However, We Paleo-Conservatives understand why McCain feels like he does. McCain comes from that old Wilsonian school of thought — Protect Israel at any cost. We can see what that idiotic stance has gotten us in the past eight years, can we not? Again, someone needs to get that Memo to McCain; that the Conservative grassroots, being challenged by the Tea Party movement, has moved on from that stance and has totally rethought that whole idea. The idea of going to war now, to appease that Country is not popular any longer, among anyone — and that my friends, is a good thing.
I have to give the man credit where it is due. Bill O’Reilly really gave Bush a good grilling here. Although, to his credit also, President Bush did stick to his guns.
Disclosure: I do make a little bit of money, if you order one of these books. You won’t pay any extra for it. It is capitalism, and I like capitalism, don’t you? 😉
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama’s top adviser suggested to The Huffington Post late Wednesday that the administration is ready to accept an across-the-board, temporary continuation of steep Bush-era tax cuts, including those for the wealthiest taxpayers.
That appears to be the only way, said David Axelrod, that middle-class taxpayers can keep their tax cuts, given the legislative and political realities facing Obama in the aftermath of last week’s electoral defeat.
“We have to deal with the world as we find it,” Axelrod said during an unusually candid and reflective 90-minute interview in his office, steps away from the Oval Office. “The world of what it takes to get this done.”
“There are concerns,” he added, that Congress will continue to kick the can down the road in the future by passing temporary extensions for the wealthy time and time again. “But I don’t want to trade away security for the middle class in order to make that point.”
It has been widely assumed that the president would have to accept an across-the-board deal of some kind, but Axelrod’s remarks were the first public confirmation of that fact — and by a figure regarded as closer to Obama than any other White House staffer.
Also dealing “with the world as we find it,” Axelrod declined repeatedly to comment on any of the controversial debt-reduction measures suggested by the chairs of the president’s own commission — even those, such as raising the Social Security retirement age, that go against Obama campaign pledges and strike at the heart of Democratic constituencies.
He said that the White House would wait until the commission made its final recommendations on Dec. 1 before adding, “the president’s commitments haven’t changed.”
This is the consequence of the election. The President is in full on, “I will give you whatever you want, just please do not hurt me!” mode. This is what happens when your Party has lost an election. It is called conceding power. It is something that the Democrats are never good at doing, at all. The unpopular truth is, that the Democrats have no one to blame, but themselves. They are the ones who overreached during the 2008 election and promptly kicked their base square in the jewels and left them out in the cold. They are the ones who, instead of passing job creation bills and a stimulus bill and waiting to see of the economy recovered — instead passed a unpopular health-care bill that no one understood, much less wanted; and now they are paying the price for that stupidity.
The best these jackass idiots can do, is to continue to blame Bush over and over for something that he really had nothing do with. In fact, had Bush not taken some of the steps that he had; we would be in a full on 1930’s or worse style of massive depression. Needless to say, some of Bush’s actions did not sit too well with his base. Either way, the Democrats will use Bush as the proverbial “Human Shield” for a long time to come, when they are not spewing hate about him like this here: (H/T The Right Scoop Originally at The Blaze)
Needless to say, I believe that 2012 will be a referendum on this sort of blind hatred towards Republicans and Conservative values that people like me, hold dear. Further more, I believe that the 2012 elections will be a huge sea change of power and the Democrats will be sent to the wilderness, where they belong.
However, because I am a fair and balanced type of person and because I just do not carry water for ANY political party; I will say this — The Republican Party has one more chance to get it right. If it blows it this time and in 2012, they are sunk and our Nation, as a whole, will most likely be sunk as well. Here is hoping, for the sake and good of this Country, that they do it right and not screw it up. We are counting on you all, please….. Get it right.
I do hope that you would do the same, because honestly, those who do not vote — have no right to complain.
Yes, I voted Republican. Because no libertarian has ever won an election that meant anything and because I believe that the Republican Party learned its lesson with the mistakes of Bush and is now working to get back to its true principles.
I love this Country and I want to see the America; that I grew up in, preserved. My vote was an effort to do just that.
I will be blogging about the returns later tonight. Hopefully, we can right this ship.
I do not expect the liberal owned and controlled media to report this; except maybe when someone dies and they celebrate it:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The FBI said on Thursday that it has linked a shooting at a Marine Corps recruiting station in a Virginia suburb outside the U.S. capital to two other shootings at the Pentagon and a Marine Corps museum.
“A shooting at a military-related facility in Chantilly, Va., has been linked to two earlier shootings at similar facilities, laboratory tests show,” the FBI said in a statement, adding that it would not release more details.
Investigators believe a high-powered rifle was used to fire up to seven shots at the Pentagon, shattering two windows, on October 19. The FBI said it had linked that shooting to another two days earlier at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, in Triangle, Virginia, 36 miles south of Washington.
No one was injured in the shootings and the FBI said they “all involved shots fired into vacant parts of the buildings.”
The FBI said it was investigating, along with local authorities, and asked for help from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at the three sites.
The Pentagon said it was tightening security for this weekend’s Marine Corps marathon in the wake of the shootings.
This is awful, hopefully they catch this or these idiots. Now, unlike some bloggers; I will not speculate on political leanings or even if it is a Muslim terrorist or just some idiot whack job with a gun. Because stuff like this goes well beyond politics or even religious extremism. What matters here is that this….person, if you dare call him that, is using a gun to scare people and is targeting the Military. Now, I do not give a flying fark what your politics is; that my friends, is just damned wrong.
Here is hoping that they catch this so-of-a-bitch and put him behind bars….for good. I am all for Second Amendment rights, but I AM NOT for using guns, of any sort, for unlawful purposes!
I did not agree with the decision to go into Iraq and I always knew —- always — that this stuff would eventually come out.
It does hurt our guys over there now; which is the goal of the rat bastard that is running the site. I loathe him with every fiber of my being.
However, I believe that this should a be lesson to those who are in places of influential power—- that they should think long and hard, the next time they try to persuade a President to go to war with a Country to further your own political agenda or foreign policy vision that you support. Going to war to support a Country with zero standing with the United Nations and who was illegally recognized by a sitting President —- always has disastrous results. You would have thought that these idiots would have learned that lesson during the Vietnam era — but, as they say, old dogs never learn new tricks. 🙄
It is a sad thing, but it was bound to happen — sooner or later.
I know, I know…. At this point, even I am sick of writing about it. The man got fired, and got a nice deal from Fox. But he is not letting this one go; at least not right away. I cannot say that I blame him either. I mean, Liberals are supposed to be the tolerant ones and something like this happens —- it just kills that Meme totally.
Here he is with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos: (H/T HotAir.com)
As an Arab-American of Muslim descent, I am not offended by this because in all honesty I have had the same reaction in similar circumstances. In Berlin a couple of years ago, my flight was delayed because, we were told, one of the passengers, who was in a wheelchair, needed extra assistance. When she finally was brought into the waiting area, she was covered from head to toe in traditional Muslim dress and only her eyes were visible. What happened? I grew nervous. I got on the plane just the same, but with trepidation.
Was my response rational? Yes and no.
It was not Muslims in traditional garb who hijacked those planes on 9/11, and it certainly was not Muslim women in veils and wheelchairs. If anything, an Islamist terrorist wants to blend in, not stand out.
However, it was not a traditional sort of terrorist attack I feared in this case, but perhaps something unexpected: a traditional Muslim woman in a veil, confined to a wheelchair, who was loaded with explosives.
That may make me guilty of an overactive imagination, but perhaps not. Not that many years later, a young Muslim on an international flight into Detroit tried to light explosives in his underwear.
I mention all this for one main reason. I grew up surrounded by Islamic culture, went to Islamic events, and was used to seeing women in traditional Muslim clothing, and yet when that woman appeared at the Berlin airport, I was scared.
That’s all Mr. Williams was saying. He didn’t say that they should be removed from the plane, treated differently, or anything close to that. He simply said he got nervous. And for that, he was fired.
The reality is that when Muslims cease to be the main perpetrators of terrorism in the world, such fears about traditional garb are bound to vanish. Until such time, the anxiety will remain. In the long run, it’s what we do with such fears that matters, not that we have them.
But regarding what happened to Mr. Williams, no one should tolerate such intolerant behavior on the part of NPR. This broadcast network is paid for by the American taxpayers, and as such we all have a stake in its decisions.
Anyone who cares about freedom of speech should protest what has been done to this decent and fair man. And even if that were not the case, even if Mr. Williams’ views made him a detestable ogre to most, he still has the right to voice them. For many Americans, NPR’s consistent tilt to the left has caused them to reject it as a viable source of news.
NPR often embodies the very things it claims to stand against: unfairness, narrow-mindedness and reactionary policies.
I ask all Americans of conscience, most particularly those of Arab and/or Muslim descent, to protest the firing of Juan Williams and to demand that public funding to NPR cease until Mr. Williams’s good name has been cleared and he has been rehired (if he still wants to work for this network).
We deserve better from a public radio network funded by taxpayer money.
I have no idea what that man’s politics is, or what party he votes for — but even I cannot argue with that.
Anyone that has read this blog for longer than a minute, knows that I am one of the many Conservative bloggers, who have went out of my way to defend those who died on 9/11. Further more, I have, as a self described “Paleo-Conservative”, broken away from those on the Paleo-Conservative right, who repeat the often spoken line that somehow America had the attacks on 9/11 coming. As much as I respect people like Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan, I cannot and will not agree with that idiotic assertion.
However, when I see stuff like this; I get very angry and I will explain after the story quote.
JERUSALEM (AP) — Palestinians say Jewish settlers have set fire to a West Bank school.
The girls school, near Nablus in the northern West Bank, was found vandalized Wednesday morning with Hebrew graffiti on the wall reading “regards from the hills.” Jewish settlers live on hilly outposts nearby.
The Israeli military says it received a complaint from Palestinians and has sent officers to investigate. The fire appeared to cause minor damage.
The incident appears to be the latest action in a campaign extremist Jewish settlers call the “price tag.” They say it is their response to moves by the Israeli government to remove unauthorized settlements or restrict settlement construction.
Two weeks ago, arsonists torched a West Bank mosque, scrawling “revenge” on a wall in Hebrew and charring copies of the Muslim holy book.
I am sorry to say it folks; but this is nothing more than the same sort of Terrorism, that is carried out by Muslim terrorists. There are some that would say that this is simply, “defending the Mother land or the Home Land,” but sorry, that does not wash with me. If you are going to use that standard against the Arabs and Muslims, you have to use it for everyone. What these settlers did, is commit an act of sabotage and vandalism against the Palestinians, in the name of their Religion and their belief that the west bank is their rightful land. —– That is, according the George W. Bush Administration and by our State Department to be considered an act of terrorism. Now, when the Muslims and/or Palestinians strike back against these settlers and hurt some Israelis, it will be front page news at Fox News and on every Jewish Blogger’s front page. However, this little incident here, will never see the light of day anywhere, except maybe for places that carry the associated press. The simple reason for this is, our western media here in America is biased in favor of Israel and when incidents like this happen, the media simply does not report it.
Now, am I an Anti-Semite for reporting this? Am I an Anti-Semite for saying all the above? No, I do not hate Jews. I have been accused of being a Neo-Nazi. Which is of course, bunk.
My overall point here is this; if the Israelis and the Palestinians want to obtain the ultimate goal, which is peace and harmony; they need to stop committing acts of terrorism against one another. Because even the greatest peace accord means nothing if both parties are committed to continuing acts of terrorism against each other. Further more, this is why personally I believe that using the United States and its leaders as pawns simply does not work. Getting the United States involved in brokering peace deals does nothing buy waste our time, and make the United States look foolish around the world. I say, let these people work out their own problems. As I said, both sides need to be willing to work towards peace. However, as long as both sides continue to commit acts of terrorism, true peace in the middle east will never come.
Also, as a Christian, and a Fundamental Baptist — I believe peace will never, ever, come, until Jesus comes and establishes his kingdom in Israel. That scripture is found here:
Revelation 19:6-16
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying , Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth . 7 Let us be glad and rejoice , and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come , and his wife hath made herself ready . 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write , Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 11 And I saw heaven opened , and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war . 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written , that no man knew , but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written , KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Until this event happens, which will be after the rapture of the Church. There will never be peace.
The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel: “lmmigrants should learn to speak German”
Attempts to build a multicultural society in Germany have “utterly failed”, Chancellor Angela Merkel says.
She said the so-called “multikulti” concept – where people would “live side-by-side” happily – did not work, and immigrants needed to do more to integrate – including learning German.
The comments come amid rising anti-immigration feeling in Germany.
A recent survey suggested more than 30% of people believed the country was “overrun by foreigners”.
The study – by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation think-tank – also showed that roughly the same number thought that some 16 million of Germany’s immigrants or people with foreign origins had come to the country for its social benefits.
Indeed. It is a lesson that America will learn one day; one way or another — that Multiculturalism does not work. Because those who come in, will want to push those who were there first out. We here in America are occupied by three major cultures and basically they are fighting for control over the soul of America. Americans who are not a part of these cultures need to rise up and demand that their political leaders expel both of these cultures out, before it is too late. However, because I am realist, and not living in some sort of fantasy-land. I know that this will never happen here in America; because the one major occupying culture is so will protected, that flushing them out of this Country would be next to impossible. I mean, when one of this cultures has a death grip on American politics, through a powerful lobby group and basically controls a vast amount of Media, Banking and Government — what can anyone do to remove them?
My Kudo’s to Merkel for attempting to call the situation in Germany for what it really is; and that is a occupation of the Country of Germany by outsiders.
This silly woman just cannot stay out of trouble, can she? 🙄
Here’s the video and the interview with the woman that Jennifer Petkov supposedly hit:
…and now the story:
TRENTON, Mich. – For the past few days, people haven’t been focused of Jennifer Petkov and that awful Facebook page. They’ve been focused on Kathleen Edward and showing her all of the support possible. However, it now appears Petkov’s alleged bad behavior has her right back in the spotlight and this time she could end up in jail.
“Last summer, she threatened me. Told me she was going to kill me,” said Tana Boling.
[….]
Petkov’s been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless driving. Her family put up ten-percent of her $75,000 bond to get her out of jail. This time they weren’t willing to talk to the cameras, but instead of telling us that themselves, they called the cops to be their messengers.
Petkov’s lawyer tells FOX 2 this whole incident was blown way out of proportion and that the Petkovs have surveillance footage to prove it. He believes the footage will be enough to convince the prosecutor to drop the charges.
While he was not willing to show the video to FOX 2, Petkov family friend Jarred Hurd says he’s seen it.
“I think they have over-exaggerated a lot on it,” said Hurd. “The other neighbors make it out to seem like they’re horrible. They are not horrible people.”
Oh, they are not horrible people; Jennifer Petkov is just a dizzy blond —- who cannot drive worth a crap, right? 🙄 Good job lady! Anyhow, as it says above, they have security footage. So, it looks like Kim Worthy will have her hands full with this woman. What strikes me is; that the “family” actually fronted the cash to bail her of jail? Family? What family? Anyone know the skinny on that? Why would any sane family member want to bail out some half psycho woman like this?
Also, not that it matters, but…. Petkov. What nationality is that last name? German? Polish? Jewish? Anyone? Just wondering.
I also want to say the following, First off, I will keep the comments section open here; but if it turns into a threatening comments fest, I will shut the comments section down. I am not in the mood to have to weed through 50 comments to nuke the bad ones and approve the good ones. You all know how to act here. If you don’t — read the god damned rules, again, please.
Secondly, I am not out to get rich on anything or anyone… But folks, I am a full time writer and blogger, and any and all help I get, helps me out greatly. I am not some rich dude, with more money than common sense. I am one of many Michigan folk; without a job. I just happen to have some Christian parents, who aren’t heartless people and they let me live here. If you are in the same boat, and cannot afford it, then don’t worry about it. But if you have to to spare, then please, by all means…. Hit the tip jar:
Previous Jennifer Petkov coverage Here, Here and Here. Comments are closed on those, too many crazies! 😯
Some video clips, but first a little housekeeping —- sorry for the lack of posts. I passed out asleep and didn’t wake up till 12:00 midnight.
Anyhow, here are three video clips, all of which I saw over at HotAir.com:
The first one is where Bill O. is on the view and he makes the fetal mistake of ID’ing who actually attacked us on 9/11:
My friends, after 10 years, if we cannot say Muslim’s attacked us on 9/11 without having to add the radical part, then something is seriously wrong. We usually do not say, radical Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor, nor do we say that Germany under Hitler was radical Germany —- we just call them Germans. I ask you people, why the hell do we have to give the god damned Muslims in this Country some sort of god damned special treatment!?!?!?! Now the argument here is, that if you do not use the term “Radical Muslims”, that you imply that ALL Muslims are terrorists; to which I say, ever read their Koran? I am just saying….
Now this next clip is beyond belief, to add insult to injury, Joy Behar invites Jesse Ventura; Yes, Jesse “I think Bush and Cheney caused 9/11” Ventura:
Finally, here is the clip of Bill O. talking with Laura Ingraham ripping on Behar and Whoopie on the walkout and basically saying what I said; Now I know that I have ripped on Ingraham on here in the past, calling her a shrieking Harpy, when I thought it was due, I have also made fun of her, when she has done silly stuff, case and point, see here — But this time, Bill O’Reilly and yes, Laura Ingraham are both right, the damned liberals, as usual, are straight up wrong and are trying to play some sort of political correctness game with 9/11, which I happen to know is straight up BULLSHIT. Anyhow, here’s the clip of Bill O and Ingraham:
Again, let me say, I agree with both of these people 100 percent; it was Muslims that attacked us on 9/11, it was not Christians, it was not Jews, it was not Hindus; it was Muslims. To say anything other than this, excuses the group that attacked us. What about so-called peace loving Muslims? Well, to that I say this, when the Muslim Community decides to confront, head on, the radical element within their own religion abroad and here in America —- then I might start making that distinction, until that starts happening, all bets are off.
Further more, let me get into something else here. This whole idea, by some, on the liberal left, that Bush did 9/11. Now to normal sane Americans; this idea that President George W. Bush caused or ordered the attacks on 9/11 is pure insanity. But to some of the left, it is a true fact. Honestly, only about 1% actually believe that Bush caused 9/11. The rest of the left, use that little line, out of anger — over losing the 2000 and 2004 elections. I ought to know, I used to vote Democrat, up until 2007, when I decided that the Democratic Party had went too far to the left for even my liking.
This whole idea that Bush caused 9/11 and Democrats calling for a formal investigation into events surrounding 9/11, and also the lead up to the Iraq War is nothing more than political retribution towards the Republican Party and towards George W. Bush —- because the Democrats lost 2000 and 2004. As you all know, in 2000, the Democrats ran an unelectable buffoon named Al Gore. In 2004, Same deal, different person. Losing both of those elections have burned Democrats for years. Hence the continued inferring that Bush caused 9/11. Plus, on top of that, there was the Iraq War; which was the liberal “cause” here, up until someone within the liberal establishment decided that the Iraq War was no longer worth making the entire liberal movement look stupid and they dropped it as a whole. Then there is the afghan war; which the opposition to it, has been rather muted. Because the liberal establishment knows that if they turn on that War that the Democratic Party to the rest of America, will look like the biggest bunch of hypocrites ever. Which they are, but I digress. Either way, these videos just show you; one, the hypocrisy of the liberals and two, how bad that the liberal movement has become, when it comes to freedom of speech.
Come November 2, I will either be voting for Libertarians or Republicans. I have no really decided which; at this point, I am most likely pulling the lever for the Republicans. Because we need to right the ship and the libertarians have never won anything at all, and I want to vote for a winner this time; especially here in Michigan. We have had enough of Democratic failure, me especially, being out of work since 2005, it does really suck. Instead of doing the normal blaming of the Republicans, like some people I know around here do, I am facing reality and saying that Granholm and her polices failed and am voting different.
A few funny things to point out: (I think so anyhow!)
The occasional “KA-CLANK-CLANK-CLANK!” or sound of a pipe dropping. Must they give people watching the video a heart palpitation?
The horrible coughing by those off-camera, what the heck do they put in their cigarettes over there?
Watching the men lean over into the hole. Sorry guys, leaning over that hole is not going make that capsule come up any faster. 🙄
But all humor aside; the best news story, so far, is the one by MSNBC, here is a good part to quote:
SAN JOSE MINE, Chile — More than half of the trapped Chilean miners have now made the journey from their half-mile-deep dungeon to the surface, emerging to the joyous tears of their relatives and cries of “Chi! Chi! Chi! Le! Le! Le!”
Omar Reygada, 56, was the 17th miner to reach the surface, just over 12 hours after the “Phoenix” rescue capsule brought the first miner to safety.
By afternoon local time, 17 men had been pulled from the mine, including the oldest and youngest among the trapped. The effort was methodical and free of any significant problems, and on track to finish before sunrise Thursday.
With the operation appearing to go like clockwork, the miners jubilantly embraced wives, children and rescuers, and looked remarkably composed despite languishing for 69 days in the depths of a mine that easily could have been their tomb. It is the longest anyone has ever been trapped underground and survived.
Michelle Malkin, reports on the best part of this whole thing:
10:01 AM EST In a different day and age, Jeff Hart would be the most famous American in our country right now. He would be honored at the White House. Schoolchildren would learn of his skill and heroism. But because Jeff Hart works in an industry under fire by the Obama administration, more people in Chile will celebrate this symbol of American greatness than in America itself.
Jeff Hart is a driller based in my home state of Colorado. The father of two has been drilling water wells in Afghanistan at U.S. Army bases. When the San Jose Mine in Chile collapsed in August, he flew to lend his renowned expertise to the rescue effort. As part of an amazing three-way race to the trapped miners, Hart drilled for 33 days straight and was first to reach the caved-in workers.
Go read the rest of that story. It is indeed a sad situation; when American ingenuity is not celebrated, but rather shunned. Do not expect a big media sensation about the man quoted above, nor expect any media specials on how America’s part in this rescue; in fact, the liberal socialists are already spinning this one like a top — classic example via Malkin:
Katrina vanden Heuvel of the left-wing rag, The Nation, gets the stupidest mine rescue tweet ever award for her abject ignorance of the PRIVATE American individuals and companies that spearheaded the Chilean rescue efforts. Read here if you must, but take an anti-emetic first.
Update #1: Sorry guys, after getting one too many threatening comments on this story. I am closing the comments section on this entry and the others related.
Update #2: If you liked this entry, please, feel free to hit my tip jar. I am a full time blogger. Been unemployed since 2005. If that tip jar link does not work, just click on the jar to the left on your screen.

Remember the Saga of the little girl Kathleen Edward that I have blogged about on here? Well, it is not over yet. Looks like Jennifer Petkov is still running her mouth, when the cameras are not around, of course.
The Story, which is basically a rehash, but that new info from the parents in the video is new:
Since this story first made air, the Petkov’s have apologized, the Facebook posts removed, the coffin dismantled and the truck has been repainted. Thousands have watched the story online in places as far away as Japan, Europe and Australia. The backlash against the Petkov’s resulted in an egged-house, people ordering delivery pizza and thousands of messages on Facebook speaking out against the hateful act perpetrated by the couple.
The support for Kathleen on the other hand has been overwhelming for the Kathleen’s father Robert Edward and grandmother Becky Rose. Hans Masing of Tree Town Toys in Ann Arbor has raised more than $9,000 for a shopping spree for Kathleen. Dozens of people have made private donations. Whole Facebook sites have been created in support of the Kathleen.
Tuesday Kathleen’s father and grandmother came to the station and answered some of those questions so many of us want to know. Why the nastiness all started and how the Edwards do not believe Jennifer Petkov’s aplogy was sincere.
Also, this wasn’t first time the Edwards and the Petkov’s have gotten into a dispute. Problems so bad, Kathleen and her grandmother both have a personal protection orders against both of the Petkov’s. When asked how the neighbors could solve the problem, Kathleen’s grandmother says the only way to solve the problem between them would be for one of them to move, but the Edwards say they’re not going anywhere.
By the way, if you go look, the rally that was going to be held in Haas Park, is now going to be held in Elisabeth Park in Trenton, Michigan. Which, by the way, is a huge park down in Trenton, Michigan. There are supposed to be over nine thousand people there —- Nine Thousand?!?! Hell, that’s over half of downriver —-and that’s not not even counting the goats! 😉 😛 😆 I kid I kid. 😛 But that is a big number of people for a rally for a little girl. Which shows the world, that we are not all evil people around these parts.
Paul’s assertion that unborn life should be protected by the Federal Government is absurd. I do not believe that the Federal Government has the right or the obligation to protect much of anything at all; except those things outlined in the United States Constitution — nothing more, nothing less. What Dr. Paul is doing here is repeating the nonsense of the Christian Right. Which is, as far as this writer is concerned, pure rubbish. If people believe the practice of Abortion is such a horrific thing, let them rise up and organize, and challenge the STATES to outlaw the practice of abortion. Keep the Federal Government out of the business of the people’s bodies.
Paul’s idea that we should eliminate all Government programs like Social Security, is unrealistic; and it would hurt people — like my parents, who paid into the program for years. Does Ron Paul want to harm my parents? I would hope not.
Paul’s idea of trust and friendship with all Countries is naive at best. The inconvenient truth is that there are Countries and Regimes out there that want nothing more, than for the United States of America to be utterly and totally destroyed. Even China is now worrying the Military leaders, as there seems to be those within the Chinese Military who see the United States as an enemy. This should worry many Americans, as we do borrow large amounts of money from this Country. Let us also not forget what happened to John Birch in that Country as well. There is also the terrorism argument as well; but I am fully aware that much of that, is due to our foreign policy decisions of the past. However, for us to foolishly assume that if we tell Islamic terrorists that we do not wish to harm them, that they will not attack us again, would be an exercise in extreme stupidity.
As a Paleo-Conservative type; I disagree with Ron Paul’s idea of unfettered Capitalism, AKA Globalism. I believe that globalism has hurt this Country, namely the economy here in the Detroit, Michigan area. TAFTA, NAFTA and all the rest of these idiotic free trade agreements should be repealed and heavy tariffs should be imposed on anyone that wishes to manufacture product outside of the United States of America and import it into this Country.
All of the rest, I pretty much agree with, especially when it comes to fiscal policy and the federal reserve.
As a rule, I do not get too excited about polls — but this one here, is a stunner!
From my hometown paper — The Detroit Free Press: (which by the way leans more Liberal —- Unlike the Detroit News; which is more libertarian leaning. )
A new independent poll has the dean of the U.S. House, Rep. John Dingell, trailing his Republican opponent, Rob Steele, by 4 percentage points.
The automated phone survey of 300 people in the 15th Congressional District showed Steele getting 43.8% of the vote. Dingell, a Dearborn Democrat and the longest-serving member of Congress, got 39.5%. About 11% were undecided. The gap is within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 5.6 percentage points. The poll was conducted Monday.
Dingell’s campaign said the survey — conducted by the Rossman Group of Lansing and Team TelCom — is a Republican front and is contradicted by other polls in recent weeks.
Team TelCom’s president Gary Reed has Republican ties, but Kelly Rossman-McKinney, CEO of the Rossman Group, has Democratic roots.
“It’s kind of what we hear on the ground. We’re hearing from everybody about the need for change and the need for someone who is not a career politician,” Steele said.
Having Steele ahead is certainly newsworthy, but the bigger takeaway here is just how badly Dingell polls in this race after almost 56 years in Washington.
Why? In part, Michigan’s economic woes play into the national anti-incumbent mood. The state has followed the same kind of economic plan that Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama have tried to implement on a national scale, and they’ve been doing it longer. Michigan voters can see the end game even more clearly than voters nationwide, and it’s no surprise that Michigan might clean House in three weeks. Part of it, though, is Dingell himself, who has a habit of saying foolish things, and saying them on national TV.
Not only this; the bigger point is that not all of Michigan is liberal blue. I can tell you of areas that are, in fact, very Conservative and they’re not the rich, upper middle class areas either. There are some middle, working class area that have been in the Republican camp for years. Generally the further south, north, east and west of Detroit you go. The more Conservative politically it gets. Detroit proper is solidly liberal; but the suburbs is a mixed bag.
The bigger point is this; and it was articulated by Mr. Morrissey very well; people here in Michigan are just fed up. The Democrats have held the keys here forever and day. The Democrats have, along with the inaction of Republicans who were in power back when the signs that the housing market was going to crash — basically screwed this area into the ground. Michigan’s housing market is, bluntly —- terrible. This was caused by the Democrat’s stupid idea of social engineering of the housing market. The Carter Administration started it and Clinton Administration continued it. This is not even to mention the globalist NAFTA and TAFTA agreements that were signed into law by the Clinton Administrations; which in effect hobbled the Automotive industry here in Detroit. Why do you think that the UAW here in Detroit did not make a endorsement of the Democratic Candidates, until after the primary was finally over? Because the UAW’s memory is long and they remember how Clinton sold them up the river.
Plus, too, Jennifer Granholm’s performance here as Governor of Michigan has been described as horrific at best. Her policies and style of Governorship in this state has been just awful. Even my Father, who is a committed Democratic Party voter, cannot stand the woman. It has not been uncommon to hear the phrase, “Send that bitch back to Canada, where she belongs!” to be said in the context of a conversation about her. That is kind of nasty; but that is the feeling about her around here. This might be the reason why when her Lt. Governor John D. Cherry did a test poll to see how he would fare in a election, the result was a resounding, “HELL NO!” and he scrapped his plans to run for Governor.
If Dingell isn’t safe in Detroit, is any Democrat safe anywhere?
Now because I am a realist. I believe there are some safe Democratic Districts Hansen Clarke will get Michigan’s 13th congressional district. I just do not see a Republican winning that. Unless a miracle happens.
Either way, this is going to be a very interesting election cycle. It is 25 days away from election day. I cannot wait to vote. 😀
The only reason I am posting this today, is being I got a call from a poll taker; he was getting poll data for the coming election….. and boy did he ever get an ear full about the Democrats.
PRINCETON, NJ — Unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, increased to 10.1% in September — up sharply from 9.3% in August and 8.9% in July. Much of this increase came during the second half of the month — the unemployment rate was 9.4% in mid-September — and therefore is unlikely to be picked up in the government’s unemployment report on Friday.
Certain groups continue to fare worse than the national average. For example, 15.8% of Americans aged 18 to 29 and 13.9% of those with no college education were unemployed in September.
The increase in the unemployment rate component of Gallup’s underemployment measure is partially offset by fewer part-time workers, 8.7%, now wanting full-time work, down from 9.3% in August and 9.5% at the end of July.
As a result, underemployment shows a more modest increase to 18.8% in September from 18.6% in August, though it is up from 18.4% in July. Underemployment peaked at 20.4% in April and has yet to fall below 18.3% this year.
The government’s final unemployment report before the midterm elections is based on job market conditions around mid-September. Gallup’s modeling of the unemployment rate is consistent with Tuesday’s ADP report of a decline of 39,000 private-sector jobs, and indicates that the government’s national unemployment rate in September will be in the 9.6% to 9.8% range. This is based on Gallup’s mid-September measurements and the continuing decline Gallup is seeing in the U.S. workforce during 2010.
However, Gallup’s monitoring of job market conditions suggests that there was a sharp increase in the unemployment rate during the last couple of weeks of September. It could be that the anticipated slowdown of the overall economy has potential employers even more cautious about hiring. Some of the increase could also be seasonal or temporary.
Further, Gallup’s underemployment measure suggests that the percentage of workers employed part time but looking for full-time work is declining as the unemployment rate increases. To some degree, this may reflect a reduced company demand for new part-time employees. For example, employers may be converting some existing part-time workers to full time when they are needed as replacements, but may not in turn be hiring replacement part-time workers. Another explanation may relate to the shrinkage of the workforce, as some employees who have taken part-time work in hopes of getting full-time jobs get discouraged and drop out of the workforce completely — going back to school to enhance their education, for example, instead of doing part-time work. It is even possible that some workers may find unemployment insurance a better alternative than part-time work with little prospect of going full time.
Regardless, the sharp increase in the unemployment rate during late September does not bode well for the economy during the fourth quarter, or for holiday sales. In this regard, it is essential that the Federal Reserve and other policymakers not be misled by Friday’s jobs numbers. The jobs picture could be deteriorating more rapidly than the government’s job release suggests.
But, as we know the Democrats are not interested in helping the white middle class. They’re more interested in insultingAmericans, because they feel that they’re too stupid to know what they want. It is not just the politicians either, it is their bloggers too. See Here, Here and Here. See why I will never vote Democrat again, ever?
While we real Americans are out of work and waiting for the Government to get out of the way; so that actual jobs can be created in this Country. The liberal elite are taking to the airwaves and to the blogs to insult the American people and those of us that disagree with the socialism of Barack Obama, as stupid, racist, and America-haters.
Remember this come November 2, 2010 and vote accordingly. We need change; but not the sort of change that the Democrats are wanting to push on us; further more, we should not allow these monsters to insult us. We should speak back —- at the ballot box!
Michigan’s unemployment rate is higher than the National
Detroit’s unemployment rate, last I heard was at 30%.

Angie Ress sits in for Nina this week. She talks about the lengths the NYPD is going to to keep terror out of the city, how the Army may be taking control of what you watch on TV, and why the FBI could soon be watching your every move on the internet. All of this plus a dip into the Mailbag to reveal the shocking answers to the previous Question of the Week, and a new Enemy of the State.
An interesting event happened last night. I happened to see one of the sickest morbid things ever written on twitter by a so-called Conservative blogger.
Last night Mr. Neo-Nazi McCain took to twitter and said this:
Neo-Nazi Robert Stacy McCain Morbid Right Wing Asshole of the Year!
…and after I tried to be a little charitable after his idiotic Neo-Nazi assistant basically blew his blog up or it was hacked by someone that McCain pissed off!
So, anyhow, I saw that, and I must confess, I lost it. Here is why; I live here in Michigan, Kent State is Ohio. In case anyone does not know what McCain was referring to; he was mocking and making light of the Kent State shootings that took place at Kent State in Ohio on May 4, 1970. This is the awful tragedy that produced one of the most iconic photos in history; this one:
Kent State Student Mary Ann Vecchio kneels over the body of Kent State Student Jeffrey Miller's dead body
But yet, Robert Stacy McCain thinks that this is funny and that this sort of barbaric action should happen to anyone who disagrees with his form of Conservatism. Which, in all honesty, is about as Conservative, as I am Communist.
Anyhow, as I said before, I lost it; and I took to twitter and said the following:
I want to be know of public record; that I meant every god-damned word of that too. Anyone morbid person that would take to twitter, a blog or any other sort of writing medium and write something as asinine as this; ought to suffer the same fate as those innocent students who were merciless murdered in 1970. In Robert Stacy McCain’s case, the sooner the damned better. Normally, I would never advocate that sort of extremism; but this idiotic comment was just more than I could take. Nothing says, “Out of Touch, DC Beltway elitist asshole” better than some former Neo-Nazi turned Neo-Conservative darling writing something as idiotic and moronic as this.
Ladies and Gentlemen, if this is what the new post-Bush Conservative/Republican movement is all about, I want nothing to do with it and you will find in the sanity region of libertarianism and Paleo-Conservatism. I might not agree with the Socialist, Communist, Democratic Party far left; but I will be damned, if I will ever advocate for the deaths of those that I disagree with!
I feel like Senator Barry Goldwater Sr. and the man who owned the farm at Woodstock — Mr. Max Yasgur, who was, in fact, a libertarian Conservative; I might not agree with those who protested this past weekend, but I will advocate to my dying breath for their right to protest and for their right to hold to and believe whatever political, religious or person beliefs that they might wish to hold. That is the beauty of this fine Country will call America; we can disagree on politics and actually have an opinion of our own without worry that someone might actually want to kill us. Like in North Korea, Iran and in other nations that do not enjoy the freedoms of ours.
It is too bad that people like that Neo-Nazi scum, Robert Stacy McCain does not hold to much beliefs, but instead wishes to see those who whom he disagrees with brutally murdered. My friends, that is not true Conservatism, nor is that a true American spirit. That is the spirit of a Nazi fascist thug. Something that Robert Stacy McCain knows all about!
Like I wrote previously to Rick Moran; I can relate — Boy can I ever. 😡 and as Rick said, this being the fool business is a very lonely venture. However, if standing on the Island of common sense and decency; and yes, dare I say it —- Sanity?!?! is what I must do. Then here I shall stand, until THEY, not ME come back to their senses!
A liberal protester at the “One Nation Working Together” march physically assaulted a HUMAN EVENTS reporter who was videotaping Rep. Charlie Rangel (D.-N.Y) at the event at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
The reporter, Emily Miller, was first hit from behind while she was taping Rangel as the Harlem congressman glad-handed supporters in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Miss Miller is heard on the video saying, “Please don’t hit me.” The protester proceeds to yell at the reporter, “Well get out of the way! What do you think this is? Asshole.” The activist was attempting to meet Rangel herself. Miss Miller continued videotaping the event, when suddenly the same unhinged protester lunged at her, hit her on the arm, and yelled, “Don’t take my picture.”
As the footage shows, the protestor then slapped Miss Miller, hitting the flip cam and saying, “Do not take my picture. Do not take my fucking picture and I mean it.”
The scene continued, as the deranged woman assaulted Miss Miller yet again, before having to be restrained by members of the Park Police.
Here’s the story by the lady who was hit:
To answer your questions….
The Park Police called Capitol Police to handle the situation. I asked the Capitol Police to get me somewhere safe, which they did. They took my report of what happened.
They interviewed the many witnesses at the scene around the protester. All the witnesses said nothing happened, and that the woman did not hit me. I showed the officers one of the videos on the flip cam. The officer said that hitting the camera is not against the law.
My hands were shaking so much, I couldn’t rewind to show the earlier video.
The police asked me repeatedly if I had someone with me who could vouch for my story. I said, no, I’m alone here reporting on this march. Since it was my word against all the witnesses, I asked them to just get me safely out of the rally.
The officer said he would investigate to determine if an arrest was warranted. As far as I know, nothing further happened.
I was mostly shocked that all of those the witnesses lied to the police. So much for not bearing false witness…
And, I’ll add, no one stopped the woman from repeatedly hitting me. So much for decency… – Emily Miller, Washington, D.C
Folks, we need to just be real about this one; this woman was not arrested, because she was black. If this would have been a White Woman and the camera woman black and this would have been a Tea Party rally —- the liberal media would have been a perpetual meltdown mode, the person would have been made an example of and this persons name would have been in all of the papers. But because it was some black protester at a union rally; not a word is said about it.
You know, I am just going to say it. Sometimes, I really think Governor George Wallace —- was absolutely correct.
I hate to the one to say it; but I think we, as Americans, as White Americans — need to STOP apologizing to these bastards and take our Country back from the interlopers who have taken it over.
Here’s what I mean: (This video pertains to South Africa, but it could very well apply to America too)
It is time we got real; and quit this “Go along to get along” crap that the GOP is doing now. Because it is only hurting us.
Call me an old softie; call me whatever you wanna call me. But this little Gallery here, breaks me up a bit.
Whether we want to admit it or not; but these children are in the crossfire of a very adult war. They are the victims of a deranged group of people; who attacked us on 9/11.
They are the one’s that my heart breaks for, in this thing we call war.
