I present this, in light of this blog posting here:
Seriously, Allah needs to lighten up man….. š
I present this video tonight, because I feel it is the right and moral thing to do. While I have all the respect that any sane person could ever muster for our United States Military. I have nothing but disdain for those leaders, past and present, who treat war as some sort of demented game and the lives of our Service men and women as pawns in that game.
I will warn you, the images in this video are extremely disturbing. But that is the point. I want people to see what war truly is, not what the Conservatives and the people who want romance war; would have you believe.
This video, as gritty as it is; is my personal tribute to those who came before me, and those who will come after me and give their lives for this Country of ours. May God Bless them and keep them.
The images depicted here are when our forces stormed the beaches of Normandy.
This is… Civil War.

In Response to Tom Watson, I give you this. I can relate to this video in a big way, as I am a drummer and like Keith Moon, a bit of a loon. š š š

The revolution starts today. What are you doing?
This is dedicated to the memory of Alex Chilton founding member of “The Box Tops.”
Now personally, I like this version of that song better:
My Alex rest in peace. Prayers for his family this morning.
Donald Douglas and I are still trading Rock and Roll videos.
Seems he likes Jethro Tull. Crossed-Eyed Mary was, um, bad. Ever read those lyrics? Oh.My.Lordy…. šÆ
Here’s a pre-Aqualung tune, that I happen to like a bit:
One of my favorite tunes:

I normally have an aversion to white people trying to rap. But this isn’t half bad; especially the stuff about Iraq.
This is in memory of Jon Swift AKA Al Weisel. God Speed to him. š

A great video report from NBC NEWS:

There is a big time tsunami warning for Japan, Fox News Reports:
Japan’s Meteorological Agency said the first tsunami to reach Japan after the magnitude 8.8 quake off Chile was recorded in the Ogasawara islands. It was just 4 inches high. There were no reports of damage.
Japan put all of its eastern coastline on tsunami alert Sunday and ordered hundreds of thousands of residents in low-lying areas to seek higher ground as waves generated by an earthquake off Chile raced across the Pacific at hundreds of miles (kilometers) per hour.
It was the first such alert for Japan’s coasts in almost 20 years.
Towns along northern coasts issued evacuation orders to hundreds of thousands of residents. Japan’s national broadcaster NHK switched to emergency mode, broadcasting a map with the areas in most danger and repeatedly urging caution.
The 8.8-magnitude earthquake triggered a tsunami that swept across the Pacific on Sunday, but little damage was being reported as nations evacuated their coastlines well in advance of the waves. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center already lifted its warning for every country but Russia and Japan, though some countries in Asia and the Pacific ā including the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand ā were keeping their own watches in place as a precaution.
Thought and Prayers continue for those in the affected area.
But these squirrels are not happy.
Hell they sort of sound like my car when it starts. But the tone is much higher.

Heh… I love it. I believe Keith will be backing up that silly statement soon.

Defending America, nothing like it. š
I saw parts of this… Glenn Beck was on fire.
Kinda funny, Kinda lame… Some just silly. Keith Olbermann line at the end is a fine example.

I could write a thousand word blog entry here. But instead; I will just say thank you Jesus for 26 years of my Salvation in Christ. Admittedly, I do have issues with many things in the “Church World”. But I’d never trade my salvation for anything.
This song says it all:
Perhaps a better response to the Keith Olbermann Smear of the National Tea Party Movement. This one is by Randy Haddock:
First, his choice of words. People of color? Who are these colored people heās referring to? What does that mean? It may be because Iām not a native English speaker, but I find this āpeople of colorā business to be really bizarre. So as a Boricua, am I colored? I guess Iām olive but if I hit the beach on a sunny day I can be golden brown. Is he referring strictly to skin color? Culture? Ethnicity? I mean, Iām not that much darker than Mr. Olbermann himself. Do I fall into his āpeople of colorā category?
Or, as I suspect, are āpeople of colorā just code for those who deviate too much from the skin color which Olbermann seems to deem as the standard? I mean, come on, Olbermann has no color, right? Heās white. That aināt no color. Thatās just how itās supposed to be, right? So, all I can think of is that he means āblack.ā Black people are colored, and everyone else is just normal and a-OK. Man, this race and colors stuff is difficult to understand!
And secondly, the question is stupid, the premise terribly moronic and the insinuation totally insulting. The Tea Party protesters arenāt racist. Are there a few kooks with nefarious motivations? Sure, every movement has them. Itās nice how, during the Bush years, the MSM did everything they could to whitewash the fringe elements of the antiwar movement, but I digress. Whatās Olbermannās evidence that Tea Parties are overwhelmingly racist? Apparently, that there are no āpeople of colorā at these rallies. That is so blatantly false as to induce uncontrollable laughter. There are people of all backgrounds at the Tea Parties. But even if an event is dominated by a certain race group, what does that prove? Similar to what Glenn Reynolds said earlier this month, if you look at a group of white folks and the first thought that pops into your head is āracists!ā then you have some serious issues.
So I put together this video response to Olbermannās burning question. Here are his āpeople of colorā heās been inquiring about.
Very well put.
