The Obama Administration, in my view, is the most dangerous administration in American history, and conservatives need to be very clear about the limits and objectives of American power so that they can lead the battle to restore our government to health. She was surrounded by her children: Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton,” Taylor’s publicist, Sally Morrison, said in a statement.In the same statement, Michael Howard Wilding, 58, memorialized his mother:”My Mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love,” he said. “Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world. Her remarkable body of work in film, her ongoing success as a businesswoman, and her brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished. It seems we are at a moment where the world is going to get much much worse or much much better
Unions are almost dead we cannot survive doing what we do but the simple fact of the matter is community organizations are almost dead also and if you think about what we need to do it may give us some direction which is essentially what the folks that are in charge – the big banks and everything – what they want is stability
Every time there is a crisis in the world they say, well, the markets are stable.
What’s changed in America is the economy doing well has nothing to do with the rest of us
They figured out that they don’t need us to be rich they can do very well in a global market without us so what does this have to do with community and labor organizing more.
We need to figure out in a much more through direct action more concrete way how we are really trying to disrupt and create uncertainty for capital for how corporations operate
The thing about a boom and bust economy is it is actually incredibly fragile.
There are actually extraordinary things we could do right now to start to destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement.
For example, 10% of homeowners are underwater right their home they are paying more for it then its worth 10% of those people are in strategic default, meaning they are refusing to pay but they are staying in their home that’s totally spontaneous they figured out it takes a year to kick me out of my home because foreclosure is backed up
If you could double that number you would you could put banks at the edge of insolvency again.
Students have a trillion dollar debt
We have an entire economy that is built on debt and banks so the question would be what would happen if we organized homeowners in mass to do a mortgage strike if we get half a million people to agree it would literally cause a new finical crisis for the banks not for us we would be doing quite well we wouldn’t be paying anything.
Government is being strangled by debt
The four things we could do that could really upset wall street
One is if city and state and other government entities demanded to renegotiate their debt
and you might say why would the banks ever do it – because city and counties could say we won’t do business with you in the future if you won’t renegotiate the debt now
So we could leverage the power we have of government and say two things we won’t do business with you JP Morgan Chase anymore unless you do two things: you reduce the price of our interest and second you rewrite the mortgages for everybody in the communities
We could make them do that
The second thing is there is a whole question in Europe about students’ rates in debt structure. What would happen if students said we are not going to pay. It’s a trillion dollars. Think about republicans screaming about debt a trillion dollars in student debt
There is a third thing we can think about what if public employee unions instead of just being on the defensive put on the collective bargaining table when they negotiate they say we demand as a condition of negotiation that the government renegotiate – it’s crazy that you’re paying too much interest to your buddies the bankers it’s a strike issue – we will strike unless you force the banks to renegotiate/
Then if you add on top of that if we really thought about moving the kind of disruption in Madison but moving that to Wall Street and moving that to other cities around the country
We basically said you stole seventeen trillion dollars – you’ve improvised us and we are going to make it impossible for you to operate
Labor can’t lead this right now so if labor can’t lead but we are a critical part of it we do have money we have millions of members who are furious
But I don’t think this kind of movement can happen unless community groups and other activists take the lead.
If we really believe that we are in a transformative stage of what’s happening in capitalism
Then we need to confront this in a serious way and develop really ability to put a boot in the wheel then we have to think not about labor and community alliances we have to think about how together we are building something that really has the capacity to disrupt how the system operates
We need to think about a whole new way of thinking about this not as a partnership but building something new.
We have to think much more creatively. The key thing… What does the other side fear the most – they fear disruption. They fear uncertainty. Every article about Europe says in they rioted in Greece the markets went down
The folks that control this country care about one thing how the stock market goes what the bond market does how the bonuses goes. We have a very simple strategy:
How do we bring down the stock market
How do we bring down their bonuses
How do we interfere with there ability to be rich
And that means we have to politically isolate them, economically isolate them and disrupt them
It’s not all theory i’ll do a pitch.
So a bunch of us around the country think who would be a really good company to hate we decided that would be JP Morgan Chase and so we are going to roll out over the next couple of months what would hopefully be an exciting campaign about JP Morgan Chase that is really about challenge the power of Wall Street.
And so what we are looking at is the first week in May can we get enough people together starting now to really have an week of action in New York I don’t want to give any details because I don’t know if there are any police agents in the room.
The goal would be that we will roll out of New York the first week of May. We will connect three ideas
that we are not broke there is plenty of money
they have the money – we need to get it back
and that they are using Bloomberg and other people in government as the vehicle to try and destroy us
And so we need to take on those folks at the same time
and that we will start here we are going to look at a week of civil disobedience – direct action all over the city
then roll into the JP Morgan shareholder meeting which they moved out of New York because I guess they were afraid because of Columbus.
There is going to be a ten state mobilization it try and shut down that meeting and then looking at bank shareholder meetings around the country and try and create some moments like Madison except where we are on offense instead of defense
Where we have brave and heroic battles challenging the power of the giant corporations. We hope to inspire a much bigger movement about redistributing wealth and power in the country and that labor can’t do itself that community groups can’t do themselves but maybe we can work something new and different that can be brave enough and daring and nimble enough to do that kind of thing.

NEW YORK — From the early 1990s to just a couple of years ago, Laurie Dhue was a familiar face on network news.
She has the distinction of being the only person to anchor at the three big cable networks — CNN, MSNBC and most recently Fox News, where she served as anchor from 2000 to 2008 and also hosted her own weekend show.
But behind Dhue’s impressive careers, glamorous looks and rising star status, was a painful secret she hid for more than a decade. She was an alcoholic.
I do very highly recommend that you do go and read this story. Not to make this about me; but I can personally relate to this story. For about six years of my young life, from around 1992 till 1997 — I was horribly a backslider and “living in the world”, as it is called. At first, my drinking was on the weekends. I would go to the bar and drink just enough to get a slight buzz and come home. Then, I graduated to the hard liquors. Then, I started wanted to go to the bar every day. I was becoming, what my Grandfather (My Mother’s Father) was; a working alcoholic. I also had a nice two and a half pack a day smoking habit too.
But this is the part that I can relate to here:
“I drank to make myself more interesting to other people,” she continued. “And I drank to make other people more interesting to me. When the truth of the matter is, I was very interesting the way I was, and alcohol wasn’t doing me any favors. When I realized that, I was ready to get sober, because I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. And I got down on my knees and begged God for help on the morning of March 14, 2007. I said, ‘I cannot do this. God help me, and that’s when I knew the fight was over.'”
Which is, without over-hyping anything; what happened to me. I was just sick and tired, of being sick and tired; of everything — being separated from Lord, of going through the routine of drinking and waking up hung over, of smoking and feeling like a iron was on my chest. I was just burned out of the whole scene. The fun was over, especially after a personal and close friend of my just dropped dead of a massive heart attack at age 42. That was when it was quite obvious, that the party and fun times were over for this old bird.
In September of 1997, not long after my friend passed away. I made one of the smartest decisions that I could have ever made; I went to Detroit World Outreach in Plymouth, Michigan and dedicated my life back to the Lord. At the time, DWO, as it is called; was Pastored by the now late Dr. Jack Wallace. Much has changed since that time, If you go to my “Christian?!?!?” page, you will see what has changed. I still believe that Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. I just left Pentecostalism for some very personal and Biblical reasons. But I still believe, that my name is written in the lambs book of life and one day, I will be reunited with my family and friends who have went before me and I will finally get to meet the Lord.

A hard-core group of liberal House Democrats is questioning the constitutionality of U.S. missile strikes against Libya, with one lawmaker raising the prospect of impeachment during a Democratic Caucus conference call on Saturday.
Reps. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), Donna Edwards (Md.), Mike Capuano (Mass.), Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), Maxine Waters (Calif.), Rob Andrews (N.J.), Sheila Jackson Lee (Texas), Barbara Lee (Calif.) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D.C.) “all strongly raised objections to the constitutionality of the president’s actions” during that call, said two Democratic lawmakers who took part.
Kucinich, who wanted to bring impeachment articles against both former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney over Iraq — only to be blocked by his own leadership — asked why the U.S. missile strikes aren’t impeachable offenses.
Kucinich also questioned why Democratic leaders didn’t object when President Barack Obama told them of his plan for American participation in enforcing the Libyan no-fly zone during a White House Situation Room meeting on Friday, sources told POLITICO.
And liberals fumed that Congress hadn’t been formally consulted before the attack and expressed concern that it would lead to a third U.S. war in the Muslim world.
While other Democratic lawmakers have publicly backed Obama — including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and top members of the Armed Services, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence committees — the objections from a vocal group of anti-war Democrats on Capitol Hill could become a political problem for Obama, especially if “Operation Odyssey Dawn” fails to topple Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi, leads to significant American casualties, or provokes a wider conflict in the troubled region of North Africa.

The coalition, consisting of France, the United Kingdom and the U.S., began bombing strategic targets in Libya on Saturday. France’s air force is leading the air strikes.
The U.S. and UK have launched hundreds of missiles from naval ships.
Farrakhan, on a Chicago radio show, said he was outraged Obama took part in the attack.
“Why don’t you organize a group of respected Americans and ask for a meeting with Qaddafi, you can’t order him to step down and get out, who the hell do you think you are?”

CAIRO (AP) — The head of the Arab League has criticized international strikes on Libya, saying they caused civilian deaths.
The Arab League’s support for a no-fly zone last week helped overcome reluctance in the West for action in Libya. The U.N. authorized not only a no-fly zone but also “all necessary measures” to protect civilians.
Amr Moussa says the military operations have gone beyond what the Arab League backed.
Moussa has told reporters Sunday that “what happened differs from the no-fly zone objectives.” He says “what we want is civilians’ protection not shelling more civilians.”
U.S. and European strikes overnight targeted mainly air defenses, the U.S. military said. Libya says 48 people were killed, including civilians.
This is what happens, when the United States gets involved in affairs related to the Arab World. We are always the enemy. FUKUSHIMA, Japan — An unexpected rise in pressure inside a troubled reactor set back efforts to bring Japan’s overheating, leaking nuclear complex under control Sunday as concerns grew that as-yet minor contamination of food and water is spreading.
The pressure increase meant plant operators may need to deliberately release radioactive steam, prolonging a nuclear crisis that has consumed government attention even as it responded to the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that savaged northeast Japan on March 11.
In a rare rescue after so many days, a teenage boy’s cries for help led police to rescue him and an 80-year-old woman at a wrecked house.
Beyond the disaster area, an already shaken public grew uneasy with official reports that traces of radiation first detected in spinach and milk from farms near the nuclear plant are turning up farther away in tap water, rain and even dust. In all cases, the government said the radiation levels were too small to pose an immediate risk to health. Still, Taiwan seized a batch of fava beans from Japan found with faint — and legal — amounts of iodine and cesium.
“I’m worried, really worried,” said Mayumi Mizutani, a 58-year-old Tokyo resident shopping for bottled water at a supermarket to give her visiting 2-year-old grandchild. “We’re afraid because it’s possible our grandchild could get cancer.” Forecasts for rain, she said, were an added worry.
All six of the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex’s reactor units saw trouble after the disasters knocked out cooling systems. But officials reported headway this weekend in reconnecting two units to the electric grid and in pumping seawater to cool reactors and replenish bubbling or depleted pools for spent nuclear fuel.

As I said above; I guess I am supposed to feel sorry for them; But, I can’t. Also, just to clear something up — I got up at 5:30 this morning to write most of the posts you saw here today. I then tried to spend most of the day with my granddaughters, except for the time this afternoon on my radio show. I posted this in the 30 minutes or so of spare time I had between the show and taking my wife out to church and dinner. This is the very first time I’ve had since, and I’ve had to spend it cleaning up comment threads.
I didn’t post about Palin’s speech for one simple reason — I haven’t seen it or read it. I just happened to see the clip of Maher because someone sent me an e-mail, and I just had enough time to write a post about it. I’d like to think that I’d refrain from commenting on a speech until I have time to see it or read it, and I’d like to think you’d prefer that as well. I’ll try to hit that in the morning and write something about it then, but for now I’m going to get back to spending time with my family on my weekend.

Poor widdle Ed. Actually had to do a little work on the weekend. Poor baby. Way I see it; if Ed cannot handle the responsibility of being a professional blogger; maybe he needs to find another line of work. Always the victim, that is how he plays the game, I guess.
I guess that is to be expected; when you have a so-called Conservative Blog, which is written by two people, who’s conservative credentials are less than….Conservative. I mean you have one guy, who is basically living on the Government dole, because of his blind wife, who’s had a transplant of some sort; and yeah, I know, he blames the Insurance company or the Government in some sort of stupid backward defense. I’ve seen those comments. But I do not buy it at all. If you are a Conservative and your living on the Government dole; you are a damned hypocrite. I do not care who you are or what you do for a living.
Then there is this anonymous coward; who is nothing more than a damned Democrat posing as a “Independent.” Ever see Allahpundit post about Hillary? or even some of the liberal commentators at Fox News? I have had some pretty personal information about that guy for a long time. I have sat on it, because AllahPundit is a great blogger and most of the time; barring the times when he likes to slam Ron Paul — I have actually agree with the majority of what he writes there. Not always, but most of the time. I’ve been tempted to release what I know to someone, so that they can out him. However, I really have no malice towards the guy; so I won’t do that.
So, why did I do what I did? Because I could really; and to prove the double standards at HotAir. It has been like that for ages and as along as it is owned and published by people of this sort. It will continue.
For what it is worth, I will leave HotAir up there in the “blogroll” listing. As it is a great place to go for breaking political stuff. It’s just not the place in the world to comment.

Democrats of this man’s era were different people. Not nearly as vile and nasty as they are today. I refer to Democrats of this man’s era; as the pre-Saul Alinsky era Democrats. When that party still had some trace of ethics, honor and class. Nowadays; all of that is gone.
May Mr. Christopher rest in peace. Prayers for his family as always.

SANDUSKY, Ohio– Authorities in northern Ohio say a police officer died after a gun battle with a suspect, who was seriously wounded.The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says Sandusky police Officer Andrew Dunn died after the shooting early Saturday.The sheriff’s office says 50-year-old Kevin Randleman was riding a bicycle when Dunn stopped him. Authorities did not immediately explain why Dunn stopped Randleman or what prompted the shootings.Authorities say Dunn was shot multiple times and died at a nearby hospital. Randleman was flown to a Toledo medical center for treatment. Officials did not know if he had an attorney.Officials say the 30-year-old Dunn had been with the Sandusky police for about three years and was married with two young children.No charges have been filed. The sheriff’s office is investigating.
I’m sure that Lew Rockwell will figure out some way or another to place the blame on the cop. That does seem to be Rockwell’s modus operandi; any police officer upholding the rule of law is a operative of the state and therefore the use of lethal force on said person is justified. Which to normal, sane, rational, thinking Americans and yes, even Conservatives — like myself — that is insanity and should be grounds to have said person put in an insane asylum.
Which is why I do not align myself with libertarians of his stripe. That sort of anarchist mentality is borderline equal with the same mentality of an Al-Qaeda terrorist. It is not a popular thing to say about someone; but the truth is the damned truth — like it or not.
As a rule, I tend to be a very understanding and nice guy. (Most of the time… 😉 )
However, I’ve just had enough of the stupidity of the damned liberal left. So, today, I decided to be a bit of a hard ass.
Last night and earlier today some asshole thought he be cute and try posing as some person who wanted a “Debate” on the subject of abortion. From his use of the English language; he appeared to be some asshole from England or some other idiotic European Country. Anyhow, when I informed him that I was not interested in debating the issue. He launched into a full on gutter sniping session at me.
So, I pulled, what is known as the “trump card,” for all persons who happen to host their blogs on their own domain address.
I blocked his IP.
Oh, not just the single IP address; I blocked an entire damned cluster, from his ISP.
The sad truth is that no one is entitled to view this blog at all. I control this mother fucker and I can and will block those whom I feel should not be viewing this blog.
Up to this point; I have only really blocked those, who and trying to gain access to my blog’s back-end. They are out of Russia, and for some reason, they think I accused them of trying and now they are trying. They’re now using proxies and I’ve blocked quite a few of those here in the last few weeks. The sad part is; those assholes are wasting their time; because I did change my Blog’s default user name. I actually deleted “Admin” and created another username and made it the head honcho around here. So, honestly, the Russians are wasting their time.
However, today, I blocked a liberal smart ass and I can and will do that in future. I enjoy thoughtful commentary; but I will not tolerate stupidity and gutter sniping. I can and will block your access from even viewing this blog.
Hardliner Tactics? You bet your ass. There are some issues that I cannot and will not EVER concede. One is Abortion and the other is “Gay Rights” and basically Homosexuality in general. So, if you are some dumb ass morally depraved faggot or some baby-killing asshole —- Don’t come here starting shit. Because I can and will block your ass from viewing here.

It is; again, just the United States wanting to protect oil plants in Libya. Just like George W. Bush did, in Iraq. The silence of the liberal left; and the Anti-War movement —- is deafening. After all, Libyan rebels told us to stay out of the conflict.
