The World’s Ugliest Woman, Stumps for Billary.

and…. Insults John McCain in the process…. (Not that he’s any better, but!)

The Story: Stumping for Clinton, Steinem Says McCain’s P.O.W. Cred Is Overrated (Via The New York Observer)

Feminist icon Gloria Steinem took to the stump on Hillary Clinton’s behalf here last night and quickly proved that she has lost none of her taste for provocation.

From the stage, the 73-year-old seemed to denigrate the importance of John McCain’s time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. In an interview with the Observer afterward, she suggested that Barack Obama benefits—and Clinton suffers—because Americans view racism more seriously than sexism.

Steinem also told the crowd that one reason to back Clinton was because “she actually enjoys conflict.”

My gawd, this woman was uglier than crap back in the day and she’s STILL uglier than sin. Sick

I’m not much one in to wishing death on people, but when this feckless broad goes tits up, I won’t shed a damn tear, at all.

And, how exactly has this broad really served her country? Besides by promoting Lesbianism and all other sort of Liberal ire?

Obama Stiffs the Press

There’s an interesting piece in the Politico about Obama Stiffing the Press.

I’m divided on this one.

On one hand, I think it’s not right that the press be limited in their access to a candidate.

On the other hand, I know that the press can be ruthless in the coverage and in their quest to get a story. Here’s a classic example. The woman did wrong, but the local press was ruthless to this woman, until she killed herself. The really cruel part is, the offending station that hounded her, mentioned her death in a very cold, passing way. I used to really respect that station, in the days when Jac Le Goff and Bill Bonds were the rulers there. Now it’s little more than a idiot station, with idiots behind the desks.

So, in a way, I can fully understand Obama’s desire to keep the media at bay. It could be, however, the secret service’s doing as well. After all, Obama did get some threats a while back, it could be that seeing he’s getting so popular, it could be that they’re afraid of people getting mixed up with the media and possibly trying to take a shot at him or something.

So, while I think it might upset the media, for their access being limited, I’m sure it’s being done for a very good reason, and not just because Obama doesn’t like them.

Proof that Hillary is Desperate

You know, I make no bones about it, I cannot stand Hillary. Stuff like this Here, is why.

Check out the Picture being circulated by the Hillary camp.

For the record, many other lawmakers who visit other countries tend to dress up in that country’s dress.

To me, it just shows that Hillary is gasping for air, and that air is getting thinner by the second.

I just wish she would face facts and leave this race, to the grown up people, who don’t act like feckless children.

Ralph Nader is running for President……again. Hillary says "Oh Noes!"

Republicans continue to prove that they’re blatant Idiots.

The Obama Mailer-gate continues.

Are you Experienced?

The DNC goes after McCain with a FEC complaint.

Kristol proves he’s a idiot, but then again, aren’t most Republicans nowadays?

The White House puts it in reverse. and contrary to what the tool at "The Corner" says, yes, they did overstate.

Saturday Night Live does Hillary Clinton….(really!)

The Story: Bush admin: U.S. has ‘lost intelligence’ (via Politico.com)

The Bush administration informed Congress on Friday that the government has “lost intelligence” because of the expiration of surveillance legislation caught in a political tug of war.

“We have lost intelligence information this past week as a direct result of the uncertainty created by Congress’ failure to act,” says an underlined passage of a six-page letter signed by Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey and Director of National Intelligence J. Michael McConnel

Obama catching sand over a comment.

Whoa Boy… Obama is catching grief over a comment made at the debates.

Mostly from the far right wing nuts, who refuse to believe that our Military is nothing short of perfect.

Some people need to really look into getting real.

Even some of the comments on the Wing Nut Blogs even ADMIT that they were using enemy weapons and bullets.

But let a Liberal diss our Military?!?!?! Off with his Negro head! Surprise

Stupidity at it’s finest. Rolling Eyes

The Real John McCain?

He’s talking a pretty mean game now, But what about….:

and This:

Seems John McCain had a different view of war, back in those days, now he’s very much pro war.

Some people will say anything to get elected.

Uh-oh……

 Oh…..crap…..

For McCain, Self-Confidence on Ethics Poses Its Own Risk  (via New York Times)

Early in Senator John McCain’s first run for the White House eight years ago, waves of anxiety swept through his small circle of advisers.

A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, visiting his offices and accompanying him on a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity.

This could be big. Although, I highly doubt it. why? Because the story lacks substance. There’s no direct accusation.

Hey, at least she’s pretty. But have you seen his wife?

Now, why in the world, would he want to cheat, on someone who looks like her?

It just don’t make any sense… I dont know

I seriously doubt the Democrats will even touch this. I could see some of the younger guys, But McCain?!!? Nah! Not him.

Update: I’ve finally sat down and read the entire story. I posted an editorial regarding this story on my other Blog, click here to read it.

Castro steps down

Yeah, I know Castro resigned. Big Deal. It isn’t like anything is going to change in that country. It will be just more of the same. Some say it will not be, But I know better.

What gets me, is how the right is trying to compare the Liberal Democrats with Socialist Communists. True, some of the traits are the same. But to say that they are exactly alike, that’s a bit of a stretch.

The problem is, Liberalism is a very broad term. Just like Conservatism. Not every progressive minded person thinks that Castro was any kind of Hero. I mean, the man was a dictator. His people were not truly free, like we are here. Even I am smart enough to know that.

I just wish others that share my Conservative beliefs, knew this as well.

A guy can dream, can’t he?

Obama is a Plagiarist

Now this does not surprise me a bit at all…

The Story: Obama Caught Plagiarizing 2006 Speech? (H/T to NYT)

Quote:

Big Head DC has discovered alarming similarities between a speech made by Sen. Barack Obama on February 16 while campaigning for president in Wisconsin and an October 2006 speech made by Deval Patrick, the current Democratic governor of Massachusetts. The coincidences would seem to indicate that Obama copied several lines and linguistic speech patterns from Patrick’s “Just Words” speech for Obama’s own “Words Matter” speech. Indeed, words do matter. And they matter even more when they are one’s own words.

Interesting. Wasn’t another famous black leader accused of this as well?

Seems the "Magic Negro" doesn’t have a creative bone in his body.

When are people going to wake up and see this guy for what he really is, and that’s a inexperienced, snotty nosed, Negro punk, who’s trying to ride on the shoulders of Martin Luther King Jr. into the White House.

If Conservatives vote for him, it will be the death of this country. Period. I’m not for Hillary at all, and McCain is a fake too. But this is just too much.

Breaking News: Obama is being accused of gay sex and drug use…..

This could get big, if it’s true…..

Sleaze charge: ‘I took drugs, had homo sex with Obama’ (via WorldNetDaily.com)

The electrifying presidential campaign of Barack Obama faces a new challenge – a Minnesota man who claims he took cocaine in 1999 with the then-Illinois legislator and participated in homosexual acts with him.

The Video in Question:

At first I thought, “Nah…”, But, Why would someone get on Youtube, and admit that they’re gay? and say something like this, if it’s not true. I mean, after all, we do not know much about Obama, except for his very sanitized website.

This does warrant more investigation.

Update: From the feedback I am getting, this could very well possibly be a hoax. But I am leaving up the post, just an case. Some are saying that the Hillary camp might be behind this. Although, I doubt it.

Update: May 10, 2008 – This man ended up taking a lie detector test and failing. See here for more info….. and hello to the ladies in the forum debating this!

The Crap is about to hit the fan between Obama and Hillary

This is about get real messy, I bet. Others do as well.

The Story: Black Leader, a Clinton Ally, Tilts to Obama (via New York Times)

Representative John Lewis, an elder statesman from the civil rights era and one of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s most prominent black supporters, said Thursday night that he planned to cast his vote as a superdelegate for Senator Barack Obama in hopes of preventing a fight at the Democratic convention.

That is what people are saying, Blacks are worried that we might end up with another 1968 Democrat convention. This is all about to really messy, I predict that Obama will be able to ride out the storm and Hillary will come out looking like an idiot and end up losing, not just the election, but her own shirt as well.

Should be interesting.

Breaking News: Gunman opens fire on Northern Illinois University Campus

Not Good.

Gunman reported shooting on Illinois campus – Crime & courts- msnbc.com

Northern Illinois University officials say there has been a report of a gunman on campus.

WBBM in Chicago reported that a man with a shotgun began shooting in a lecture hall during a geology class.

Any Bloggers on campus?

Classes have been Canceled for tonight.

CNN has Live Video (No Audio)

I cannot believe that MSNBC is more interested in having that idiot Blowhard Chris Matthews than this Story… What the hell?!?!?

CNN is reporting that up to 18 people have injured.

CNN Headline News is saying 2 are confirmed dead. Update: It is now been confirmed, that there is one fatality, The Gunman.

Stay tuned.

Update: CNN is Reporting:

"He was wearing a black shirt, dark pants, black hat. … He started with a shotgun, then turned to a pistol."

I still cannot believe that MSNBC is more interesting in talking about Politics, than this story, it’s a disgrace.

CNN Headline News has just reported, that the gunman was NOT a student at the college. The Gunman has been ID’ed. The police are not released his ID.

An Open Plea tonight for the Victims of the Tornados in the South…..

Ladies and Gentleman,

This is a call to action.

The South needs our Help.

See this:

Whilst we’re waiting for George’s Promised Prayers to roll in, down here in the Tornado-Stricken Mid-South, I might recommend some DIRECT HUMAN INTERACTION.

This Is My Best First Start To Help My Region.

As Scout Prime is to NOLA, I am, suddenly, to the Mid-South area (I LIVE here, and was Live-Blogging these horrible storms all night), and have started to get the help-ball rolling down here. Some of you know where I work. I started a Food Drive there today for the Mid-South United Way Food Bank.

As the area affected is so broad and detached, and everyone in the Country was distracted by politics last night, as yet, there is no central assistance hub set-up. So, at the link, above, you’ll find the two agencies with the broadest radius to help the area right now. Both take DIRECT donations.

A small-blog swarm on that post (or this comment) would be greatly appreciated by more people than just me. I can’t describe how wide-spread the damage is down here. It’s enormous. The Media, per usual, is only just now waking up to the situation, after their Super-Duper-Let’s-All-Wet-Our-Pants-Together- Tuesday Political Hangover. Like NOLA, these are REALLY poor folks down here, and have nothing, and nowhere to go.

A short post about this at YOUR Blog, linking either to my post, above, or directly to the two Orgs mentioned in the post above, would sure be a big help, and would be greatly appreciated by many people who are relying on help. They are all that we have right now.

I just donated a deer’s worth of ground venison, along with the 100 pounds of rice and quart-sized ziplock bags that they said that they needed at the United Way Mid-South Food Bank, when I phoned them this morning. Their pantry is BARE, and I’ll be loading them up with all the potatoes, rice, veggies, bags, and other staples that I can fit in my truck tomorrow.

This is serious Red State country, and a flood of help from the DFH Left would REALLY make a big difference in a number of good ways.

I thank you all in advance.

Click Here for more about what’s going on down here. It’s all that I am writing about right now. Help is needed.

Your humble peer,

Monkeyfister

I would kindly ask, that everyone that reads this Blog, call or write to the following people:

American Red Cross

And:
United Way of the Mid-South phone in a donation at (901) 433-4300.

Let’s open our pocketbook and show these people that we as Americans care.

This isn’t about Politics, this is about Americans, who have lost it all. Let’s show ’em that we really care.

So Much for super Tuesday eh???

Well, that all was pretty much for nothing.

So, they say.

From what the TV is saying, Hillary is basically being called the forerunner. Obama is in second.

John McCain in the lead on the G.O.P side. Mitt Romney is taking inventory, and Huckabee is still in there.

It’s going to be an interesting year.

Bush seeks break the Nation and take services from the Elderly.

All to fund his misguided war….

Bush Seeks Budget of $3.1 Trillion (Via NYT)

President Bush submitted a federal budget of $3.1 trillion on Monday, declaring that the spending plan would keep the United States safe and prosperous and, despite its record size, would adhere to his principle of letting Americans keep as much of their own money as possible.

Of course……:

Mr. Bush said he would cut or terminate 151 programs, saving $18 billion in 2009. One agency, the Education Department, accounts for 47 of the terminated programs and three of the programs to be cut. But he would increase spending in areas that fall under the umbrella of “national security.”

[…]

Mr. Bush said his budget would slow “the unsustainable growth of entitlement spending” with proposed savings of $208 billion over five years. This includes savings of $178 billion in Medicare, $17 billion in Medicaid and $6 billion in student aid programs. The president proposes to raise $2 billion from new enrollment fees and higher pharmacy co-payments for certain veterans receiving health care from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Unless I totally misread what was wrote, Bush wants slash benefits to the elderly, (read, the POOR elderly!) those who need the most help. Problem with that is, Mr. President, not everyone has those investments, that you rich folk have available to them, and Social Security and Medicaid and Medicare is all they have.

But, from what I have read, Congress will never pass his version of the Budget. So, I doubt he’ll get his way, Thankfully.

This is what happens when you elect a rich C.E.O. for a President.

We need change. Badly.

Gross Distortion of News

Is this the Non-Story, story of the day?

The Swamp: Hillary Clinton cries in Connecticut

Sen. Hillary Clinton teared up this morning at an event at the Yale Child Study Center, where she worked while in law school in the early 1970s.

Penn Rhodeen, who was introducing Clinton, began to choke up, leading Clinton’s eyes to fill with tears, which she wiped out of her left eye. At the time, Rhodeen was saying how proud he was that the sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.

"Well, I said I would not tear up; already we’re not exactly on the path," Clinton said with emotion after the introduction.

Well, Really, Hillary didn’t cry. The person that introduced her was nearly in tears. But Hillary held her self together just fine. It’s quite obvious that Jason George is biased against Hillary Clinton. I didn’t hear her voice break, at all. The person who introduced her, Penn Rhodeen, was the one who got all broken up, Not Hillary.

I just love it when those who are loyal to party ideologies use the main stream media to smear Presidential Candidates.

A winning endorsement

Presidential Candidate Barack Obama has gotten an endorsement, from the daughter of one the most important political figures of our time.

Quote:

"OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama."CAROLINE KENNEDY

It seems by reading the Blogs today, that some do not understand the great significance of such an endorsement.  In the World of Politics getting a endorsement by the daughter of President John F. Kennedy, is basically like getting the endorsement from the head of the Roman Catholic Church.

This is just what Obama needed, a nod from the old guard, someone from the old school to say, "Yes, we approve". It’s a feather in his cap and he will be able to take that to the White House.

It’s going to be exciting race.

Fred Thompson Drops out.

Yep, that’s right, Fred Thompson has dropped out of the race for the White House.

There’s much opinion is to why, sources are saying that he’s taking care of his ill Mother. Other say it was because he got in too late. Something I said on my other Blog that got hacked, long ago, back when he first got in.

The people I feel sorry for, are the one’s who gave money to this guy and supported him, I mean, what do they have to show for it? Not a lousy thing.

Video Via MSNBC:

I wish Fred the best of luck.

I predict that the next one’s to drop out, will be Huckabee, Rudy, and possibly Ron Paul. Although he might run as an Independent or a Libertarian.  It will then be a mad dash between Romney and McCain. I predict that things will get nasty between McCain and Romney. Which one will get it, that I cannot predict. But it will be quite the race.

Yeah, I know, you’re wondering why….

I know, you’re most likely wondering why I have not Blogged about the Debates.

Because I am just very disgusted with the whole process. That is why.

John Edwards, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton spent most of the day, which was SUPPOSED to be celebrating the Birthday of a man who stood up for social justice, being civil to one another.

Then all at once, within a one-hour period, all of that civility went out the window.

Some would say, “Hey, that’s politics.”, Well, you know? I disagree. Just what in the name of the Almighty, is being accomplished by the first African-American and the first Female Presidential candidates sniping over absolutely idiotic nonsense?

I mean, what kind of image is that sending to the American people? What kind of signal is that sending to aspiring young people interested in Politics? That it is perfectly acceptable to attack someone that you are running against?

Normally, I would, without delay, post the videos of the sniping and comment about it. But that’s what the main stream media is doing. That’s what every political Blogger is doing. They’re a part of the media machine. I’m just not interested in joining the chorus of Bloggers talking about that feckless nonsense.

I am actually scared to death, why? Because I am afraid that people have seen this sniping and they’ve thought, “Why the hell should I vote for those two?” I mean, this would be great thing for Edwards, But we’re on the threshold of making history here and the two damned idiots that are principle players in it are acting like total nincompoops!

Don’t even get me started about Bill Clinton. “Hey Honey, I’m going go out and destroy you’re chances of getting elected!”, He’s another of the feckless ones. Not to mention his falling asleep during Martin Luther Kings III’s speech. More fodder for the media machine, I guess.

I guess I’m supposed to be feeling really good about all this hoopla, so far, Nothing. Nada. No Dice. I’d rather be watching the history channel or something else more productive.

I apologize if you came here thinking that I had some great commentary on the debates, But I just don’t. I just don’t have an impression.

I will say this, if Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton keep up the nonsense, and the Democrats lose, and we end up with John McCain AKA Bush 2.0 or that Mormon freak Mitt Romney in the White House, the Democrats will have no one to blame, but their own selves for it.

So far, color me unimpressed with the Democrats.
