The managing editor of Townhall Magazine called Diversity Lane “very, very well done.” And Michigan Review described it as “laugh out loud funny.” Why not make this the day you discover the best in conservative comedy today at Diversity Lane?

First off, what AllahPundit is griping about is this:
In response to this, AllahPundit politely objects:
“When conflicts break out, one way or another, we get pulled into them.” True enough, and I don’t always “like” that we’re pulled into them. For example, I don’t “like” the fact that we have 30,000 U.S. troops stationed in South Korea as cannon fodder in case the lunatic to the north ever attacks Seoul. But I accept it because I understand it’s an effective deterrent that saves millions of lives. I don’t “like” the fact that we’re forced to take the lead on Iran even though their military capabilities are more of an immediate threat to Europe and the Sunnis, but I accept it because the stick we wield is so much bigger than everyone else’s that we’re most likely to bring them to heel. I don’t “like” the fact that American troops have spent the past seven years dodging — and, sometimes, not dodging — IEDs in Iraq, but I accept it because I think having a democracy in the region will eventually put pressure on local autocrats to liberalize and held deflate jihadism. Disagree with my position on any or all of those if you like, but I don’t see how it’s controversial or demeaning to suggest that the world’s policeman, like any policeman, doesn’t always enjoy his job. In fact, less than six months ago, Pew found for the first time in 45 years that those who believe the U.S. should mind its own business abroad outnumber those who don’t. I think that isolationist impulse is nutty and a de facto invitation to malign powers to expand their influence, but then so does The One — which, I take it, is why he ordered the surge in Afghanistan, is going slow on withdrawal from Iraq, is stepping up drone attacks in Pakistan, and is keeping the troops in Korea and elsewhere in place.
via Hot Air » Blog Archive » Obama’s getting a bad rap on the “superpower” comment.
I give AP credit; he is absolutely right. Sometimes, it just sucks to have to be the leader of the free world. I mean, the United States, not Obama. This is filed under the “Stuck on Stupid” business, that my Blog’s subtitle refers to. Unfortunately, on the far right; there is this effort, a foolhardy one, but none the less, an effort; to castigate President Obama —- No matter what he does. I refer to it as that “Sean Hannity bullcrap.” I mean, I respect Hannity, most of the time. But I cannot stand watching that show; because all his show is about — is bashing Obama, no matter what he does.
I mean, say what you want, but, Obama might be a socialist, Obama might be a wealth redistributor; but, like it or not, Obama does have his rather pointed head on straight when it comes to Foreign Policy and when it comes to Islamic Terrorism. I mean, as AP alluded to in his article, the President could be like Ron Paul. (Shudder!) I am; as I am sure AP is, very grateful that President Obama has his head on straight about the middle east and the danger that Islamic Terrorism poses for this Nation. President Obama might not handle things the way that Bush did; but this does not mean that he does not see and want to deal with the danger.
For this, I am willing to give President Obama a pass in this department. But, only in this department.
Another thing I will say is this; where I see the most Anti-Obama rhetoric, when it comes to terrorism, is from certain protected ethnic classes on the right. (I think you can figure out, what I mean….) This, I believe is fueled by this idiotic notion, that Obama is some sort of secret Muslim. This sort of thing is, in this white man’s opinion, absolutely idiotic. I mean, how ironic is it, that the same class of people, who were subjected to horrific atrocities by a German madman, are now themselves engaging in the same bigoted behavior? Quite, I would say. I will not mention any names, but I think you can guess to which players I allude.
Again, just more of that stuck on stupid, that I refer to…
Thanks to AP for, once again, being “The skinny guy, at fat camp.”
Update: There’s always a smart ass in the crowd. 😉
I had nothing to do with it, honest!

Authorities in several Midwestern states were flooded Wednesday night with reports of a gigantic fireball lighting up the sky, the National Weather Service said.
The fireball was visible for about 15 minutes beginning about 10 p.m., said the National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wisconsin, just west of Milwaukee.
“The fireball was seen over the northern sky, moving from west to east,” said the NWS in the Quad Cities area, which includes parts of Iowa and Illinois.
“Well before it reached the horizon, it broke up into smaller pieces and was lost from sight,” the service said. “Several reports of a prolonged sonic boom were received from areas north of Highway 20, along with shaking of homes, trees and various other objects including wind chimes,” it said.
It said the fireball was seen across parts of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. CNN affiliate WISN-TV said that people in Ohio also saw it.

Just a little humor after days and days of depressing news. 😀
Sigh:
Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door yesterday to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run – a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.
“Sounds pretty good,” Palin declared at yesterday’s Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor – giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.
Last night, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mike’s Pastry in the North End, she said she was “serious” about the idea.
“I have a lot of respect for Mitt,” she told the Herald.
Asked who would be on top of the ticket, Palin roared, “Ha! I haven’t even thought that far ahead yet.”

As I have said a thousand times. Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney cannot win squat. If they were chosen, it would be four more years of Barack Obama.
I mean, Entitlement and Entitlement Light is just not a Conservative platform.

I usually do not write about Polls; because most of them are just ridiculous.
But this one here, and the one about Bush and Obama are worth noting.
I will say this; if the G.O.P. runs Ron Paul as their candidate, they will be trounced in the general election. Because nobody and I mean, nobody is going to vote for Ron Paul, I mean looking at his controversial past ought to be proof enough. The funny part is; when confronted, the Paul-bots like to say that Ron Paul did not write those newsletters. My response to that is; who in the hell, in their right mind, would lend their name to a newsletter, which would be authored by people who have such feelings about Blacks, Jews and so forth? Someone who obviously agrees with such idiotic mentality. Sorry Paulites, but your idiotic attempt to distance Ron Paul from his own damned newsletters, is not flying with this guy. I am just not that stupid. I will not even get into the 2008 campaign monies donated by the founders of Stormfront and former Klansman David Duke and Don Black, that was never returned.
I realize that this poll is a hypothetical one; but if I were Jewish, I would be very worried. If Paul was elected and I were Jewish, I would be looking into real estate in Israel. Because if that bastard got in as President, it would only be a matter of time before the Jewish persecution started. However, being the realist that I am, I know better; because there is just no way that the G.O.P. senior leadership will allow a person like Ron Paul to run for President.
Edited because some Paul-bots do not understand the concept of snark.

Lollar, a general manager at Cintas, is unabashed when it comes to addressing accusations of racism by the tea party movement’s opponents. “Can you believe that I have been accused of being a racist?” he asked the college Republicans. “Somebody once called me a racist. I looked at them and said, ‘My wife’s black — I can’t be!’” he joked to the crowd at a tea party rally in March.
Just remember, Ron Paul believes in negotiating with these bastards. Therefore, he is a terrorist supporter. So are Democrats.

On Thursday, April 8th, 2010, Congressman Alan Grayson, Democrat in Florida’s 8th district, interrupted a district meeting of the local Orange County Republican Executive Committee. The meeting was being held at Perkins, a family restaurant.
…Matthew Falconer, candidate for Orange County Mayor, quickly challenged Alan’s rudeness. Grayson demanded not to be interrupted, but Falconer quickly reminded the congressman that he is in fact interrupting their meeting.
Linda O’Keefe, member of the Orange County Republican Executive Committee and extraordinary patriot volunteer with the Orlando Tea Party said, “I’m wondering if Grayson realizes that we do still, for now, have the right to assemble! But can’t we have a meeting without being interrupted by our congressman?”
Currently, there are 12, Republican candidates looking to send Alan Grayson to the unemployment line in November.
Tom Tillison of the Tea Party Patriots Live radio show and the Orlando Tea Party, had quite a lively discussion with Alan afterwards for 10 minutes. Tillison said, “I let him know that he’s a congressman and he needs to act like one. I reminded him that these are his constinuents.” Tillison asked Grayson, “Don’t you feel that you at least owe them an explanation for your recent votes?”, to which Alan replied, “I don’t owe them anything, they’re trying to defeat me.”
Tillison followed, “You are a U.S. Congressman and you approach these people acting like a thug.”….to which Grayson responded that he was “being attacked.”
and this:
Matthew Falconer, early Friday, released this statement:
“On Thursday April 8th I was attending a meeting of the Orange County Republican Executive Committee at a Perkins Family Restaurant in Windermere. About 30 Republicans were meeting when Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson barged into our meeting ranting about how we put spies into an Organizing for America meeting.
As I was sitting with Orange County Republican Chairman Lew Oliver, I stood up to Grayson and demand he apologize to Lew for the vial (sic) comments he made recently (Grayson said “Lew Oliver could not find a $20 bill if it was stuck in his A**”). Grayson yelled at me for interrupting him when I reminded Grayson he was interrupting our meeting.
The conflict was caught on video showing Alan Grayson, a U.S. Congressman, standing in the middle of a family restaurant screaming at his constituents. Politics aside, I do not think the man has the emotional stability or integrity to represent us in the U.S. Congress.
Grayson pledged to use his own personal funds to defeat me in my race for Orange County Mayor (supporting his Democratic friend Bill Segal). He then told me to get my “a** out of his face.”
I am in awe of the lack of respect he showed for the customers of this restaurant and his constituents.”
I would say something rather snarky about him being a demented Jew, but I am afraid Debbie the psycho from Southfield, might file stalking charges against me and Pamela the Arab hater would bad mouth me, so I shall refrain. 😛

It is a fair question to ask.
The Video:
The Story via ABC:
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele’s comment on “Good Morning America” today that he and President Obama have a slimmer margin of error because of their race was dismissed by the White House as “silly.”
“Well, I think that is a fairly silly comment to make,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters today. “I think Michael Steele’s problem isn’t the race card, it’s the credit card.”
The embattled chairman played the race card today when asked if he has a slimmer margin of error because he is African American.
“The honest answer is, ‘yes,'” he said on “Good Morning America” today. “Barack Obama has a slimmer margin. A lot of folks do. It’s a different role for me to play and others to play and that’s just the reality of it. But you take that as part of the nature of it.”
“My view on politics is much more grassroots oriented, it’s not old boy network oriented, so I tend to, you know, come at it a little bit stronger, a little bit more street-wise, if you will. That’s rubbed some feathers the wrong way,” Steele told “GMA’s” George Stephanopoulos.
Today’s “GMA” interview is not the first time Steele has asserted that his race plays a role in the criticism he has faced as RNC chairman. During a recent interview with Washingtonian Magazine, which took place before the sex-club controversy, Steele said, “I don’t see stories about internal operations of the DNC that I see about this operation. Why? Is it because Michael Steele is the chairman, or is it because a black man is chairman?”
I have said on this blog a half of a million times, (or so…) that the G.O.P royally screwed up, when they put Michael Steele in as the chairman of the G.O.P. No, not because I am racist bigot. But because of this; it is quite obvious to me and many other people, that Michael Steele is all about identity politics — which is antithetical to what the Republican Party stands for, again, not because the Republican Party is racist, but because the Republican Party believes in “freedom for all, special privileges for none.” At least that is how it is supposed to work.
Of course; if you say a cross word about a Jew to a Republican, you are libeled as a Anti-Semite. Which is quite hypocritical, if you ask me. However, speaking for myself. I do not feel that I owe a Black Man or a Jew anything at all. If anything, I feel the Jews in this Country owe their lives for what this Country did for them during the second World War. Most Jews are grateful for this, but, honestly, there are some, who act like the United States did not do enough or not quickly enough. Which is, in my opinion, bogus.
Yes, I have seen that on a certain so-called “Conservative” blog, who is ran by a Jewish Lawyer from Michigan. I won’t mention any names, least that person file stalking charges against or something stupid like that. Funny how she can claim Anti-Semite nonsense; while all the while bashing Roman Catholic Conservatives. Funny how that works.
Anyhow, about Michael Steele; I think he should resign. It is quite obvious to many people that his skin color is more important than his Conservatism. Otherwise, stuff like this here will continue to happen:
In another serious blow to the Republican National Committee, one of its top fundraisers — and its few remaining connections to the traditional GOP donor base — has resigned a senior, unpaid position.
Former Ambassador Sam Fox, a top supporter of George W. Bush who was one of the co-chairmen of the Republican Regents — the RNC’s top-level fundraising board — has left the post, two Republican sources said.
Fox, a Missouri businessman who was Bush’s ambassador to Belgium, was one of the RNC’s few remaining connections to the deep-pocketed Republican establishment and was viewed as the heaviest hitter among its fundraisers.
Fox didn’t return a call seeking comment.
But Fox was “deeply troubled by the pattern of self-inflicted wounds and missteps,” another major Republican fundraiser told me today, and had “lost confidence” in Steele.
He was also finding it harder and harder to tap fellow wealthy Republicans for the RNC, the source said.
The GOP source predicted a coming wave of high-level finance resignations amid dissatisfaction over the arrival, under an ethical cloud, of a new fundraising staffer.
Michael Steele, Uniting Conservatives everywhere. 🙄
Now, if the G.O.P. wanted to put a REAL Conservative minority in as chairman; they could look at Michelle Malkin. Now that’s a woman that could do something for that Party! 😀 She’s screechy, She’s annoying as hell; but damn it, she’s about as pure as they come. Think about it Republicans. Who do you want representing your party? Megan McCain with black skin? or a Minority who’s truly down with the cause? It is something to think about! 😀
Finally, the stupid socialist is doing something right:
The Obama administration is proposing to open vast expanses of water along the Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the north coast of Alaska to oil and natural gas drilling, much of it for the first time, officials said Tuesday.
The proposal — a compromise that will please oil companies and domestic drilling advocates but anger some residents of affected states and many environmental organizations — would end a longstanding moratorium on oil exploration along the East Coast from the northern tip of Delaware to the central coast of Florida, covering 167 million acres of ocean.
Under the plan, the coastline from New Jersey northward would remain closed to all oil and gas activity. So would the Pacific Coast, from Mexico to the Canadian border.
The environmentally sensitive Bristol Bay in southwestern Alaska would be protected and no drilling would be allowed under the plan, officials said. But large tracts in the Chukchi Sea and Beaufort Sea in the Arctic Ocean north of Alaska — nearly 130 million acres — would be eligible for exploration and drilling after extensive studies.
The proposal is to be announced by President Obama and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Wednesday, but administration officials agreed to preview the details on the condition that they not be identified.
The proposal is intended to reduce dependence on oil imports, generate revenue from the sale of offshore leases and help win political support for comprehensive energy and climate legislation.

It’s about time that Bambi Teleprompter is doing something right.
An exasperated Moonbat Steve Benon whines:
My confusion, then, is over the administration’s negotiating tactics. In February, the president cleared the way for the first new U.S. nuclear power plants in more than 30 years. Today, the president will reportedly open up new opportunities for coastal drilling.
In other words, Obama has already effectively given Republicans what they wanted on energy. What is he getting in return?
My question is, why the fuck should he get anything in return, at all?
He better be fucking hoping and praying that we don’t make his origin of birth a big issue when the Republicans take back the house and senate come 2010! What assholes… like the Republicans owe that floppy eared son-of-a- bitch anything at all. 😡 🙄
Again, I say, good on ol’ big ears for finally learning that capitalism is a good thing and that drilling is a good idea. Now if we could just teach the REST of liberal and socialist, and communist America that! We’d have to start in the fucking oval office first!
I am sure that by now most of you have noticed that Ad for Sean Hannity’s new book.
Well, as most of you know, I loathe Sean Hannity; I am not even remotely a fan. But $15.00 is $15.00 is $15.00, and seeing that I am in the financial position that I am in, any sort of extra money, say from advertisements like that —- is a good thing. Believe me, if I had tons of ads in that sidebar, that were paying me more money; I’d tell ol’ water carrier boy to pound sand. But right now, I will take any sort of money that I can get.
Some of you are wondering what I do not like about Hannity. I just don’t like his attitude and stuff he calls President Obama. It just strikes me as unprofessional and yes, I sometimes think he sounds a bit racist. That whole “Anointed One” line got stale long ago. I mean, I am not a big fan of Obama, and yes, I do criticize his polices. But I do it without the stupid and sometimes borderline racist nuances, name calling and general stupidity, which people like Hannity and his fans are known for. I will admit, during the election and a little after it. I partook in some of that myself. But there was a point, when I basically said, “Okay the man is President now; time to move on and criticize his polices.” I mean, it’s one thing to say something witty once and a while; but to revolve a whole show around it and repeat the same stale crap every week, is just downright stupid. I guess my biggest complaint is that Sean Hannity makes it personal about the President and his Wife and I have also heard his kids. That’s over the line in my book. I never make it personal. Hannity does, this is why I do not watch his show.
As for Hannity personally; I never liked him when he was with Alan Colmes either. He’s a very, very, very, arrogant man, and the sick part is, he has got nothing to be arrogant about. The man lied his way into the business and the only reason he is where he is today, is because some idiot at Fox News felt sorry for the bastard. So, the way I see it; he has nothing to be conceited about.
Anyhow, about that Ad Space — I have plenty of spaces available for advertising. If you have something you would like to promote. Please, take out an Ad. My rates are the lowest around. My site gets anywhere from 300 to over 3K hits a day, depending on the news cycle. I expect during the 2010 elections that this sites numbers will rise as election day nears. So, getting ad space would be a good idea; and besides, it is for a good cause — Me, of course! 😉 😛 😀 Seriously, with the economy like it is here in Michigan and seeing the Obama administration is now putting the hurt on small business. I fully expect the jobs in this area to simply decrease. So, this little blogging gig might be my income for a long time to come. I realize that my readers are not rich and that they are suffering too. But, this is America folks, hard times like this, is when Americans come up with the best ideas for starting a business, and the key to a successful business is advertising. Remember folks, Capitalism is America and being your own boss and being successful at it, is the American dream. I am just looking for my share. Help me do that, place an ad today!
America-haters, Liberals, idiots and pinheads need not apply…

About 100 fans came out to hear Karl Rove at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills Monday night to discuss his book “Courage and Consequences: My Life As a Conservative In The Fight,” — but the fight wasn’t contained to his book.
Anti-war protesters came out, some rushing the stage, to call Rove a “war criminal” and worse.
The fans came to get their books signed, but they never got that chance.
One woman, the co-founder of the anti-war group Code Pink, approached him with handcuffs and said she was there to make a citizen’s arrest. Jodie Evans charged him with “outing a CIA agent…you lied to take us to war…” and “totally ruining the country

To be fair, even the Kos kiddies think these women are quite stupid. It’s too bad one cannot be armed at all times during these appearances. I mean, some times lethal force is just a good thing. I mean, they won the election, the hell else they want?
Why is this idiot even allow to live in the United States?
Today, the vast and wealthy DC Militia did what it loves doing most, swooping in to arrest Americans talked into dangerous talking. Apparently the 101st Airborne was not involved in the mopping-up operation, though I am not sure. Who can doubt that the nine people arrested were talked into their exploits (of speech, not action) by agents provocateurs? The media are all googly over it–Christian militia members planning to use WMD (oh sure) to overthrow the government. Too bad the nine did not pay attention to what Jesus said about the use of the sword, but did pay attention to agents counseling violence. But again, all the Michigan Nine did was talk: these guys had a website, and played in the woods. Rachel Maddow of MS-GE delightedly explained tonight that those arrested did not actually have to do anything to be found guilty. So these working-class Americans are to be put in super-max government cages for the rest of their lives, except when they are being raped or treated in the single-payer prison medical system, for “seditious conspiracy,” a concept beloved of totalitarian regimes.
So by Lew’s logic, planning to murder an law enforcement official is just perfectly fine. This is not much of a surprise seeing his attitude towards the Military and Law Enforcement. One only need to dig through his archives at that blog to see nothing more than Anti-Military, Anti-Police screed. If I or anyone else said half of what he has, we would locked up in jail. But because he is a part of a protected Religious class, he skates free. I guess when you are an Jesuit operative for the ‘great whore of Babylon’, one can only expect so much. Matt Tabbi was so damned correct.
Bottom Line, Lew Rockwell is a surge of society and should be ignored. It is no wonder that I refer to his kind, as small Government Liberals.
I have zero to say about this.
Well, maybe I do… When you put a token black man in, as the RNC chairman. What the heck do you exactly expect?
Just sayin’ 🙄
Update: The Staffer that was really responsible for this bunch of stupidity got canned.
I make absolutely no bones about it at all. As a Fundamentalist Baptist Christian, I have zero love for what the Bible refers to as the “Great Whore of Babylon” in Revelation 17 & 18.
More of this please….:
I think Chris Hitchens said this once, and I agree with him; if I were a person that made that kind of moral choice, I think I’d have to kill myself. But these guys not only don’t kill themselves, they go out in public ranting about how wronged they are and how they’ve been fucked over by the evil New York Times for airing out their dirty laundry. Again, I admire the balls, but seriously, they must know the game is almost up. Sooner or later people are going to catch on, the state is going to make a move, and there’s going to be a hell of a lot of church property going up for auction along with the seized Escalades of DEA-busted drug dealers. Or maybe not in this lifetime — but one can only hope.

I mean, how the heck else am I supposed to feel? After all, these bastards persecuted my Christian forefathers, who rejected the papacy as unscriptural for years. I think it is high time that they got a little dose of their own medicine.
Thank you to Matt Taibbi for speaking the truth and for saying what I and many other old school Fundies have known and said about the Roman Catholic Church for years. People like Alberto Rivera, whom they killed, when they could not silence him. Nobody and I do mean, Nobody could ever make that much stuff up. He was on inside and came out. Not to mention Charles Chiniquy another man who the Lord opened his eyes and showed just how awful that sin-depraved Church was. Another man, who left. The Jesuits did not kill him, because he was too big and it would have caused suspicion.
Again, I say… More please.

MALLOY (31:30): It took these filthy Republicans about 48 hours- 72 hours to come up with the ‘oh, yeah, well, you know, we’re getting bad phone calls too, yes we are.
And then this John Boner, this John Boner [sic] these guys created this. they created this atmosphere, they did it because Limbaugh and Beck told them to!
MALLOY (36:25): Well, keep it up boys, just keep it up, um except for one thing: you rat bastards are going to cause another Murrah federal building explosion, you are. And then – what is Beck – maybe at that point Beck will do the honorable thing and blow his brains out.
Maybe at that point, Limbaugh will do the honorable thing and just gobble up enough – enough Viagra that he becomes absolutely rigid and keels over dead.
Maybe then O’Reilly will just drink a vat of the poison he spews out on America every night and choke to death! Because that’s what’s gonna to happen, that’s what they are pushing these right-wing, nut case, fringe, militia jerk-wads to doing!
Yeesh... Now that is what I call over the top. Yeah, I know, I’ve done the same thing myself here. But it is one thing to be a lowly blogger, such as myself here. But it is another entirely to be a broadcaster with a huge bully pulpit like what Malloy has got there. What he did here was totally wrong, and he should be shamed for it publicly.
The reference to the “Murrah federal building explosion” which Malloy and rest of his idiot liberal friends blame on the Conservatives and Christians; when, in fact, Timothy McVeigh was NOT a Christian or a Conservative is a dishonest one —– McVeigh was a Conspiracy Theorist and was angry about the Waco tragedy, which was brought on by the Clinton Administration. How ironic that they attack the right, for something that was created by their own leaders. If I were one of those uncouth bloggers, I would say I hope the next “Murrah federal building explosion” happened not in a public building; but perhaps at his office or maybe even his house. But I have much more class than Malloy. 🙄
Another fine point to put on this is; this shows how desperate the Left media is,Obama’s Poll numbers are tanking, America is waking up to the fact that they have been sold a bag of lemons and now the left wing media is in full on attack mode of everything Conservative. It is a sad thing to watch, but it is a horrible byproduct of overselling someone, who quite obviously to me and rest of American, who doesn’t have their nose square up Obama’s behind, not qualified to be in the office of the President. Quite simply, it is what happens when you elected based upon racial entitlement. Detroit learned that lesson with family entitlement, with the whole Kilpatrick fiasco. Just as well, America is about to learn that same lesson with racial entitlement.
