Obama is a Plagiarist

Now this does not surprise me a bit at all…

The Story: Obama Caught Plagiarizing 2006 Speech? (H/T to NYT)

Quote:

Big Head DC has discovered alarming similarities between a speech made by Sen. Barack Obama on February 16 while campaigning for president in Wisconsin and an October 2006 speech made by Deval Patrick, the current Democratic governor of Massachusetts. The coincidences would seem to indicate that Obama copied several lines and linguistic speech patterns from Patrick’s “Just Words” speech for Obama’s own “Words Matter” speech. Indeed, words do matter. And they matter even more when they are one’s own words.

Interesting. Wasn’t another famous black leader accused of this as well?

Seems the "Magic Negro" doesn’t have a creative bone in his body.

When are people going to wake up and see this guy for what he really is, and that’s a inexperienced, snotty nosed, Negro punk, who’s trying to ride on the shoulders of Martin Luther King Jr. into the White House.

If Conservatives vote for him, it will be the death of this country. Period. I’m not for Hillary at all, and McCain is a fake too. But this is just too much.

Breaking News: Obama is being accused of gay sex and drug use…..

This could get big, if it’s true…..

Sleaze charge: ‘I took drugs, had homo sex with Obama’ (via WorldNetDaily.com)

The electrifying presidential campaign of Barack Obama faces a new challenge – a Minnesota man who claims he took cocaine in 1999 with the then-Illinois legislator and participated in homosexual acts with him.

The Video in Question:

At first I thought, “Nah…”, But, Why would someone get on Youtube, and admit that they’re gay? and say something like this, if it’s not true. I mean, after all, we do not know much about Obama, except for his very sanitized website.

This does warrant more investigation.

Update: From the feedback I am getting, this could very well possibly be a hoax. But I am leaving up the post, just an case. Some are saying that the Hillary camp might be behind this. Although, I doubt it.

Update: May 10, 2008 – This man ended up taking a lie detector test and failing. See here for more info….. and hello to the ladies in the forum debating this!

Republicans have lost their minds….

There should be a law against this sort of blatant stupidity.

Right slams Obama as ‘shady Chicago socialist’ (Via Times Online)

LEADING Republicans believe they can trounce Barack Obama in the presidential election by tarring him as a shady Chicago socialist. They are increasingly confident that his campaign could collapse by the time their attack machine has finished with him.

Grover Norquist, an influential conservative tax reform lobbyist, said: “Barack Obama has been able to create his own image and introduce himself to voters, but the swing voters in a general election are not paying attention yet. He is open to being defined as a leftwing, corrupt Chicago politician.”

Not only will this not work. But if it’s taken too much to an extreme, could really come back to bite the Republicans in the rear. One only need to go to Wikipedia to get a list of the MANY scandals that have happened during the George W. Bush Presidential Administration. Some say his stint as President was the worst ever.  I cannot say that I disagree with that.

So, I mean, they can go this route, But I would not suggest it. It would be totally disastrous for the party.

Of course, there are some that are saying, that this is all a doing of Hillary or at least she is loving it. This would not surprise me in the least. However, I don’t think that she is directly involved, I think it is the work of an over zealous, right wing fringe.

It should be a very interesting election year. I will be here covering it all.

The Crap is about to hit the fan between Obama and Hillary

This is about get real messy, I bet. Others do as well.

The Story: Black Leader, a Clinton Ally, Tilts to Obama (via New York Times)

Representative John Lewis, an elder statesman from the civil rights era and one of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s most prominent black supporters, said Thursday night that he planned to cast his vote as a superdelegate for Senator Barack Obama in hopes of preventing a fight at the Democratic convention.

That is what people are saying, Blacks are worried that we might end up with another 1968 Democrat convention. This is all about to really messy, I predict that Obama will be able to ride out the storm and Hillary will come out looking like an idiot and end up losing, not just the election, but her own shirt as well.

Should be interesting.

Hillary’s Chickens…

Bawk Bawk Bawk!

The Story: Politics | ON DEADLINE: Chickens Come Home to Roost | Seattle Times Newspaper

"If (Barack) Obama continues to win …. the whole raison d’etre for her campaign falls apart and we’ll see people running from her campaign like rats on a ship," said Democratic strategist Jim Duffy, who is not aligned with either campaign.

This only be a good thing. She is not right for this damn country, that’s for sure. Obama ain’t much better, But he’s better than 100 years of war, fake Conservative, John McCain.

Obama cleans up last night….

Yeah, He did.

Hillary is remaining mum and has moved on to Texas. I think at this point, that she hasn’t got a prayer in hell of getting chosen.

I can’t honestly say that I’m bothered by that, really. She would just be an extension of Bill Clinton.

Time to call it a day Hillary.

Meanwhile, on the G.O.P. side, John McCain did very well.

My question is, why the heck does Huckabee keep hanging on?

You can’t fix stupid, I suppose.

The Far Right is Desperate

To try an hang dirt on Obama. Take this for instance.

The good part, Also known as a lie:

What was especially noteworthy about his Virginia speech were the diversions Obama took from the prepared text. Because of Obama’s improvised moments, this speech was different than the usual fare he offers.

[Obama:] “Now I understand some of the excitement doesn’t have to do with me. I know that whatever else happens whatever twists and turns this campaign may take, when you go into that polling place next November, the name George Bush won’t be on the ballot and that makes everybody pretty cheerful. Everyone’s happy about that. The name of my cousin Dick Cheney won’t be on the ballot. That was embarrassing when that news came out. When they do these genealogical surveys, you want to be related to somebody cool. So, but, his name went be on the ballot.

“Each of us running for the Democratic nomination agrees on one thing that the other party does not–that the next president must end the disastrous policies of George W. Bush. No more Scooter Libby Justice! No more Brownie incompetence! No more Karl Rove politics.”

I agree with John Cole:

BTW- Has Dean ever heard President Bush speak? With or without a teleprompter?

Hear Hear, The man is inherently a dumb ass. At least Obama can string a sentence together without sounding like an idiot.

Sounds like Dean is just pissed because his party has got two idiots running….again.

For Clinton, Bid Hinges on Texas and Ohio

 Interesting…..

The Story:  For Clinton, Bid Hinges on Texas and Ohio (Via New York Times)

“She has to win both Ohio and Texas comfortably, or she’s out,” said one superdelegate who has endorsed Mrs. Clinton, and who spoke on condition of anonymity to share a candid assessment. “The campaign is starting to come to terms with that.” Campaign advisers, also speaking privately in order to speak plainly, confirmed this view.

Seeing she’s made this campaign about racism, I don’t look for her to do very well at all.

She made some serious mistakes on this campaign and now she is paying for it.

I hope Obama spanks her behind.

Paul Krugman has zero love for Obama

Egad.

Hate Springs Eternal by Paul Krugman (Via NYT)

In 1956 Adlai Stevenson, running against Dwight Eisenhower, tried to make the political style of his opponent’s vice president, a man by the name of Richard Nixon, an issue. The nation, he warned, was in danger of becoming “a land of slander and scare; the land of sly innuendo, the poison pen, the anonymous phone call and hustling, pushing, shoving; the land of smash and grab and anything to win. This is Nixonland.

You see the problem with writing articles like this. It gives the right what they want, Democrats fighting amongst one another. Which is quite childish.

This is, about as bad as, turning it into racism. Which is what some of Hillary’s surrogates did.

Now it seems, that it is the Blacks against the feminists, which again, is quite stupid. Sure, it makes for good blog fodder. But it does nothing to unify the party.

What it will do, is possibly turn the democrat convention in November into another 1968 convention, and really, we don’t need that at all.

If Hillary gets the nomination, she will be an open target. All the Republicans have to do, is to pull the "Peter F. Paul" card. They will play that for all it is worth. They will point out ALL of the facts regarding that situation and what they cannot prove, they will make up and distort. They will also use the MSM, to promote that from running taps, 24/7, to destroy her campaign.

If Obama gets it, unless he gets more specific on his Policies, they will hold that against him, they will use the closet Muslim rumor against him. They will use his lack of experience against him.

Either way, it’s going to be a hard, nasty, long battle to get the White House away from Republicans. Anyone that thinks that it’s going to be a cakewalk, has got a couple screws loose.

Obama Cleans up….

The Big News item today. Obama cleans up.

The inevitability factor is beginning to set in.

Hillary, I’m sure, will fight this all the way to the convention and her feminist friends will gripe a blue streak, when she looses the nomination.

How would I feel about a Black President?

Honestly? I have very mixed feelings about it.

I believe it will knock down some very old and well built walls of stereotypes down. I believe it will go quite a long ways of healing this Nation of some very old scars from mistakes made by our Nation’s forefathers.

On the other hand. I’m not too keen on Obama’s supposed far left Political leanings. After all,  I am right of center, in case some of you forgot. Big GrinHappy

Socialized Medicine, Entitlements, which will eventually bankrupt our Nation or at worst, continue our dependence on foreign currency. Which one day, will cause us some serious grief.

The thing I fear most, is that the Conservatives will be a retreat out of the House and Senate. Thus creating a total Liberal Congress. This combined with a Liberal White House, would be disastrous. I believe in checks and balances.

I believe that a Nation that leans in too much of a Political direction, without the balance of an opposing Political view. The idea here is, no one Political Ideology has all the answers. I am a big enough person to admit this.

What I do not quite understand is, why are some conservatives now taking the mentality of "We’re doomed, doomed!".  I think if the Conservatives would stop trying to compare the Presidential candidates to Ronald Reagan and look at them for their own qualities. They might be able to capture more of the mainstream.

Just my opinion. Big Grin

On The Democrats Debate Last Night

Yes, I did watch the debates last night. It did seem like they were less interesting in hurling digs at one another, and more interested in pointing out differences between one another.

They were also interested in pointing out differences between the Democrats and the Republicans, especially on matters of foreign policy. While I think that McCain would be a great President on matters of Morals, and Right to Life and the like, McCain’s Foreign Policy would be a disaster. 100 years in Iraq. You must be kidding.

McCain says he would reign on spending, Funny, didn’t another Republican President Candidate say that back in 2000?!?! Thinking Look what that got us! Doh

Hopefully super Tuesday will select us a nominee and we can get the business of getting a candidate for the White House.

Obama’s Pastor Mocks the Death of Natalee Holloway

"Black women are being raped daily in Darfur, Sudan, in the Congo and in Sub-Saharan Africa. That doesn’t make news," "One 18-year-old white girl from Alabama gets drunk on a graduation trip to Aruba, goes off and ‘gives it up’ while in a foreign country, and that stays in the news for months!", "Maybe I am missing something!" Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Read all about it, Right Here

I ask you now, Who is really the one making this election about race?

I hope this story catches on. This sort of thing is totally uncalled for.

I mean, I’m no racist, but this sort of thing is why there’s division among the races in this country.

Obama should either condemn these remarks or distance himself from this Church, once and for all.

A winning endorsement

Presidential Candidate Barack Obama has gotten an endorsement, from the daughter of one the most important political figures of our time.

Quote:

"OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama."CAROLINE KENNEDY

It seems by reading the Blogs today, that some do not understand the great significance of such an endorsement.  In the World of Politics getting a endorsement by the daughter of President John F. Kennedy, is basically like getting the endorsement from the head of the Roman Catholic Church.

This is just what Obama needed, a nod from the old guard, someone from the old school to say, "Yes, we approve". It’s a feather in his cap and he will be able to take that to the White House.

It’s going to be exciting race.

Obama’s SC Victory Speech

Basically, That America wants to believe again.

So true.

Video: (via MSNBC)

I may not agree 100% with his Liberalism. But I will tell you this, if he wins. I will be voting for him. The Republicans have nothing that I want to buy. They’ve put us into a quagmire. All the while ignoring the problems at home. I hope, that Obama smokes Hillary’s butt in the remainder of the primary, for the way she acted, trying to divide a party, and over some of the stupidest nonsense. This is truly a historical moment in our Nation. The last thing we need is some idiotic, power hungry, closet lesbian, screwing up our chances to be in the White House in 2009.

Yeah, I know, you’re wondering why….

I know, you’re most likely wondering why I have not Blogged about the Debates.

Because I am just very disgusted with the whole process. That is why.

John Edwards, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton spent most of the day, which was SUPPOSED to be celebrating the Birthday of a man who stood up for social justice, being civil to one another.

Then all at once, within a one-hour period, all of that civility went out the window.

Some would say, “Hey, that’s politics.”, Well, you know? I disagree. Just what in the name of the Almighty, is being accomplished by the first African-American and the first Female Presidential candidates sniping over absolutely idiotic nonsense?

I mean, what kind of image is that sending to the American people? What kind of signal is that sending to aspiring young people interested in Politics? That it is perfectly acceptable to attack someone that you are running against?

Normally, I would, without delay, post the videos of the sniping and comment about it. But that’s what the main stream media is doing. That’s what every political Blogger is doing. They’re a part of the media machine. I’m just not interested in joining the chorus of Bloggers talking about that feckless nonsense.

I am actually scared to death, why? Because I am afraid that people have seen this sniping and they’ve thought, “Why the hell should I vote for those two?” I mean, this would be great thing for Edwards, But we’re on the threshold of making history here and the two damned idiots that are principle players in it are acting like total nincompoops!

Don’t even get me started about Bill Clinton. “Hey Honey, I’m going go out and destroy you’re chances of getting elected!”, He’s another of the feckless ones. Not to mention his falling asleep during Martin Luther Kings III’s speech. More fodder for the media machine, I guess.

I guess I’m supposed to be feeling really good about all this hoopla, so far, Nothing. Nada. No Dice. I’d rather be watching the history channel or something else more productive.

I apologize if you came here thinking that I had some great commentary on the debates, But I just don’t. I just don’t have an impression.

I will say this, if Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton keep up the nonsense, and the Democrats lose, and we end up with John McCain AKA Bush 2.0 or that Mormon freak Mitt Romney in the White House, the Democrats will have no one to blame, but their own selves for it.

So far, color me unimpressed with the Democrats.

Poll: Nevada to go to Hillary and Romney

That’s what the Polls are saying.

Of course, those Polls have been wrong before.

So, I’ll be handing out congrads, when the caucus and primaries are over.

Should be an interesting day tomorrow.

Bad News for Hillary in Michigan

This isn’t much of a surprise to me….

Bad News for Hillary in Michigan (Via CNN)

Even so, roughly 70 percent of Michigan’s African-American voters — a group that makes up a quarter of Michigan’s Democratic electorate — did not cast their votes for Clinton, choosing the “uncommitted” option instead. Yet these voters weren’t uncommitted at all: in fact, according to CNN exit polls, they overwhelmingly favored Barack Obama, whose name did not appear on the ballot.

Had Obama’s name been on the Michigan ballot, CNN exit polls show that he would have won an overwhelming 73 percent of the African-American vote, in contrast to 22 percent who say they would have voted for Clinton under those circumstances.

The reason why this does not come as much of a surprise to me, is because Michigan is a very liberal State. I know, I’ve lived here all my life. Obama not only speaks to Liberals, He speaks to the African-American Community as well. He’s their man. He represents their community. There’s nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, I think it’s an awesome thing myself. It shows that finally, after all the years of bigotry and insecurity in this country about blacks, came to a place where a African-American can run for President and be accepted by the general public as a whole.

I like him, mainly, because he represents change, I’m not too keen on some of his "Liberal" policies, when it comes to national security. I mean, I believe in peace, but I don’t believe in selling out America’s security in the process. But anything has got to be better than George W. Bush’s cowboy way of diplomacy. His "Billy Bad Ass" idea of getting along with other nations, is why we’re in the current situation in Iraq.

I was sort of hoping that Edwards would pull out of third place and overtake the other two candidates, But I do not believe that is going to happen. It would be very nice, But I doubt he has the support, money, or momentum to do so.

So, most likely, I, like every other person who votes Democrat in Michigan, will vote for whomever the party chooses for their candidate.

This has just gone beyond stupid.

I’m referring to this.

Yes, there’s primary here. and No, I am NOT voting for Her!

She can go to hell. I’m voting uncommitted or "other".

If she gets the nomination, I will hold my nose and vote Republican.

I’m all for Progressive Thought and for "Change" as they call it. But I am not for causing division of the Black Race, which is what Hillary is doing and yes, I think it’s crapAngry

I hope like hell she loses and ends up being HIS Vice-President!

Like I said in the title, this whole damn thing as gone well beyond the realm of stupid.

Political Slam of the Day…..

Ouch!

BET Founder Slams Obama in South Carolina – The Caucus – Politics – New York Times Blog

“That is the way the legislative process works in this nation and that takes political leadership,” he said. “That’s all Hillary was saying.”

He then added: “And to me, as an African-American, I am frankly insulted that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood – and I won’t say what he was doing, but he said it in the book – when they have been involved.”

Moments later, he added: “That kind of campaign behavior does not resonate with me, for a guy who says, ‘I want to be a reasonable, likable, Sidney Poitier ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.’ And I’m thinking, I’m thinking to myself, this ain’t a movie, Sidney. This is real life.”

I just wonder if this campaign in the end will end up doing more to divide the black community, than it will to unite it. Socialism does that. Big Grin

Hillary and Obama Slug it out….

The Blogging World is quite abuzz about the slugfest that his happening between Obama and Hillary.

Here’s Hillary’s appearance on Meet the Press, Judge for yourself:

Personally I think she’s just defending herself against Obama’s camp. But I could be wrong. I don’t support her campaign or anything, I feel she’s just a hold over from Bill Clinton’s day myself. But I digress.
