The civil rights act of 1964 was totally unconstitutional. Of which, a personal hero of mine refused to vote for; that being Senator Barry Goldwater. This did cost him the election of that year. The Democrats got their revenge on that vote; during the election the Democrats painted Goldwater as mentally unstable. Which was, and still is, a bunch of baloney. It also began the process of the classic intellectual liberals to the leave the Democratic Party and join the ranks of the Republican Party. That faction of the party became known as the "Neo or New Conservatives". Led by the likes Irving Kristol; The New Conservatives sought to rip control of the Republican Party away from the hands of the "Old Right", which by this time, had become mired in racism and Antisemitism. Some would say that much of this was accomplished by lies and trickery.
Now to address the quote by Trent Lott; I realize that supposed racial aspects of that statement. But to me, it is a broader statement, than just "them Negros are ruining our society!" To me it speaks to an absolute rejection the idea of Multiculturalism and the rejection of diversity. The whole problem with this idiotic idea of celebrating diversity is this; Black Liberals want you and I to be ashamed of being even being white. Even though ninety-nine percent of white people living today, had nothing to do with the acts of slavery that took place in this Country over 300 years ago. Further more, Black Liberals want you to be ashamed of the practice of segregation that took place in the south —- whether you had anything to do with it, or not. They want you to blame yourself. Which is quite idiotic, in this writers opinion.
Not only this, but the Liberal Black Community wants to blame the white race for the problems within their own society. If a black man kills another black man; it is automatically the white mans fault. Why is that? Because the African-American community has never, and will never take direct responsibility for its own actions. They would rather scapegoat the white community for their problems. Why? Two Reasons; it is easier and it gets their political leaders votes. I have written here before that the Democratic Party views the African-American community as the resident "useful idiots"; this is proved by watching any of the many videos floating around of ACORN out doing their bidding, what is the skin color of ninety percent of those workers? You know what I am saying. You never see any of those Limousine latte sipping liberals from New York and California in those videos. You see African-American liberals doing the hard work for them. That is because the African-Americans get the Democratic Party votes. They do this by stirring the pot of racism tension in this Country and fueling the African-American’s sense of entitlement. It gets them the votes. Which is pretty funny consider that most of the people who carried out acts of racial violence in this Country were, in fact Democrats. In fact Alabama Governor George Wallace, who’s quote is quite infamous; was a Democrat.
The point I am trying to make here is this. These modern day Socialist Democrats have short term memory spans. They seem to have forgotten that the very party that are in, are the very ones who oppressed them for years.

Yes, it is wrong when someone rips up a poster of Rosa Parks
This is one of those postings that is going to most likely anger some on the far right that might read this blog.

Pam Spaulding of whom I have zero in common with, when it comes to politics; but this right here goes way beyond that and yes, it is highly racist and yes, it pisses me the hell off — reports about some ass-clown who took it upon himself to rip up some woman’s poster of Rosa Parks.

This is the only video of what actually happened at the event this afternoon. The news only showed the woman being escorted away by the police. What happened was the women walked in with signs, the crowd booed and yelled at the women. The women rolled up their posters and put them down. A photographer/reporter approached the woman on the end and wanted to see what the poster was. As the woman went to show the photographer/reporter what the poster was, a man from the bleachers stood up and snatched the poster from the woman and photographer/reporter. As the woman went to retrieve her poster the police stepped in and escorted the woman and the man from the building.
The poster was not of Obama, it was not pro health care, the poster that was taken from the woman and wrinkled up into a ball was of Rosa Parks.
National news coverage only showed the woman being escorted from the forum and left out the fact that it was the man who started the incident. Not to mention it was a poster of Rosa Parks.
Okay, here is the deal; I understand that many people are not too thrilled about Obama’s attempt to Nationalize the healthcare system in this Country. Count me among those who are not too trilled about it either. But this sort of nonsense right here is just fucking wrong. First off all, just who the fuck appointed this asshole to be the offical “Snatch the poster guy?” Second of all; how much more of a racist message could you send to the African-American community, than by ripping up a poster of an icon of the civil rights movement in this Country?
As a Conservative who is well versed in the Republican Party’s historic fight against segregation in the south; this steams me to my damn core. Anyone who has ever read my about me page, knows that I have a thing for history; and this idiot just took a fucking page from the pre-1964 civil rights right act playbook of the Democratic Party.
I may take heat for writing this, but I just do not give a damn! This asshole does not represent me, nor anyone ELSE, that I know in Conservatism! 😡
Let me be absolutely clear, I have and will continue to use this blog to speak out against identity politics and stupidity that is associated with it on the left. But this is a clear cut case of racism and it is wrong. I will speak about against that, no matter what the cost.

Remember that Obama in joker makeup poster story that I blogged about? It now seems that the Washington Post has decided that it is racist.

Superimpose that idea, through the Joker’s makeup, onto Obama’s face, and you have subtly coded, highly effective racial and political argument. It is another effort to establish what failed to jell in the debate about Obama’s association with Chicago radical William Ayers and the controversy over the racially charged sermons of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Obama, like the Joker and like the racial stereotype of the black man, carries within him an unknowable, volatile and dangerous marker of urban violence, which could erupt at any time. The charge of socialism is secondary to the basic message that Obama can’t be trusted, not because he is a politician, but because he’s black.
Cue the Music!
This is nothing more than classic race hustling or race baiting. To say that the poster depicting Obama as the joker invokes images of racism; is a bit of stretch. It simple implies that we real, true, America-loving citizens do not approve of Obama’s socialistic agenda. Nothing more, nothing less. If anyone gets anything other than this out of it. They are projecting something onto it, that is not there.
Again, this is more of your Post-Racism Racialism that exists within the Democratic Party. It is simply more of that stirring of the pot, that brings more votes to that party. It also most likely is a some sort of interference run; see that Obama’s numbers are lower than Bush’s were during his first few months in office. I mean, point blank; the man has been a damn failure in office and the American people are feeling a bad case of voters remorse and it is showing. Of course some are pointing to some over sampling in the polls and fear a nefarious motive. This could very well be, but I like to think that people are just waking up; and that, my friends, is a good thing.
So, again, this article is nothing more than a lame social Liberal attempt to avert attention away from the important facts about this Administration and to stir up old wounds of a Pre-Post-Racial America. Nice try guys; but real clear thinking Americans are just not buying it.

I would like to applaud President Obama for bringing Sergeant Crowley, me and our families together. I would also like to thank the President for welcoming my father, Henry Louis Gates, Sr., who for most of his life has been a Republican! My dad turned 96 this past June, and the fact that he worked two jobs every day is the reason that my brother, Dr. Paul Gates, and I were able to receive such splendid educations. I am honored that he chose to join me at the White House, along with my fiancée, my daughters, and my brother.
Sergeant Crowley and I, through an accident of time and place, have been cast together, inextricably, as characters – as metaphors, really – in a thousand narratives about race over which he and I have absolutely no control. Narratives about race are as old as the founding of this great Republic itself, but these new ones have unfolded precisely when Americans signaled to the world our country’s great progress by overcoming centuries of habit and fear, and electing an African American as President. It is incumbent upon Sergeant Crowley and me to utilize the great opportunity that fate has given us to foster greater sympathy among the American public for the daily perils of policing on the one hand, and for the genuine fears of racial profiling on the other hand.
Let me say that I thank God that I live in a country in which police officers put their lives at risk to protect us every day, and, more than ever, I’ve come to understand and appreciate their daily sacrifices on our behalf. I’m also grateful that we live in a country where freedom of speech is a sacrosanct value and I hope that one day we can get to know each other better, as we began to do at the White House this afternoon over beers with President Obama.
Thank God we live in a country where speech is protected, a country which guarantees and defends my right to speak out when I believe my rights have been violated; a country that protects us from arrest when we do express our views, no matter how unpopular.
And thank God that we have a President who can rise above the fray, bridge age-old differences and transform events such as this into a moment in the evolution of our society’s attitudes about race and difference. President Obama is a man who understands tolerance and forgiveness, and our country is blessed to have such a leader.

Having spent my academic career trying to bridge differences and promote understanding among Americans, I can report that it is far more comfortable being the commentator than being commented upon. I really did not want to touch this story; because of it’s nature. But really you are most likely going to be shocked as to my opinion on this.

An officer in the Boston Police Department was suspended yesterday for allegedly writing a racially charged e-mail about Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. to colleagues at the National Guard, a law enforcement official said. Mayor Thomas M. Menino compared the officer to a cancer and said he is “gone, g-o-n-e” from the force.
Justin Barrett
Barrett, a 36-year-old who has been on the job for two years, was stripped of his gun and badge yesterday and faces a termination hearing in the next week, said police spokeswoman Elaine Driscoll. He has no previous disciplinary record, she said.
“Yesterday afternoon, Commissioner Davis was made aware that Officer Barrett was the author of correspondence which included racially charged language,” she said. “At that time, Commissioner Davis immediately stripped Officer Barrett of his gun and badge, and at this time we will be moving forward with the hearing process.”
Barrett will receive legal representation from Boston Police Patrolmen’s Assocation, the police officer’s union. A woman who answered the phone at the police association said that union president Thomas J. Nee was not available for comment, but said he would be releasing a statement this evening.
Barrett could not immediately be reached for comment.

I would not no more defend a person like this, than I would defend some person who robbed a bank and happened to be a police officer and a member of the National Guard. What this idiot forgot is this; Police Officers are servants of the people, not Masters. Some goes for National Guardsman, they are servants of the Government and by proxy the people of the state of Massachusetts. What this idiot did not only reflects bad on the city of Boston, but also on the National Guard. Does this man have the right to feel the way that he does? Yes. But does he have the right to espouse such hatred while in the employment of the city of Boston and in the deployment of the National Guard? I am afraid that answer is no. I am sorry, but racism is wrong; whether it is White on Black or Black on White; and yes there is both. The point is that it is still wrong and should not be tolerated by any City, State or Federal Government.

D.J. Drummond has written a well written piece on race relations. I agree with the majority of it; However one little part did not resonate with me well at all.
The first requirement for a racial dialogue is mutual respect by and for all parties.
Mr. Drummond, I will start respecting the Negro race, when they stop blaming me and all Anglo-Saxon Americans for the problems in their own communities. Further more, I will start respecting the Negro race when they stop blaming me personally for things that happened before I was even born. Things like Slavery and the racial discrimination in the south.
Further more, I will start respecting the Negro community when they stop with the damn grievance-mongering that goes on constantly; mainly in the Negro Liberal Circles. After all, it was the Republican Party that set them free. But no; the Negro Community was not satisfied with that. They had to have more, so, they were given affirmative action; a program that allowed for the legal discrimination of Anglo-Saxon Americans; commonly known as White People.
It was said, long ago, among those who were opposed to the ending of the slave trade; that “If we give them an inch, they will take a mile.” Something that it very true amongst the Liberals and the Minority crowd. I am afraid that those people were absolutely correct.

To be quite honest, choosing the proper race of the kid was something I never considered, but I also don’t remember seeing any pics of black, mentally handicapped children. I don’t know if that was because black people can’t afford cameras, chose not to place pics they had online, or just aborted children they knew would be abnormal at the prodding of Planned Parenthood.

If she hadn’t been killed last weekend by a hit-and-run driver, would Mr. Adkins have had a problem with her video rant? If he was/is a true conservative, yes he would have, as she spouted off the very language that would be found enlightening in liberal circles. If the issue of making a statement about her too close to her death was an issue, would Chuck Adkins have a problem with my saying that the late Obama bin Laden’s son (who was killed by a Predator drone last week) was “troubled”?
To be quite honest, I watched about a minute of the video, I found her standing there yammering on, to be quite annoying. Which brings me to another question, why could any self respecting Conservative even watch anything like that, at all? As for the Bin Laden comment, I would preferred to see Osama, Not Obama; Bin Laden’s son, along with his Father killed eight years ago, when then President George W. Bush started Military action against Afghanistan. But instead, President George W. Bush; being the Wilsonian President he was, acted upon a piece of bad intelligence, took us to war in Iraq. Which had zero to do with September 11’th. Before you call me a liar Bob, The Bush Administration said that they were wrong.

Look the point I was making here, is this. Bob’s tone toward that young white lady was quite condescending. - I am sure you have heard about Alexis Cohen, the American Idol contestant, who was killed in a hit and run. Thankfully, her killer was found and arrested. Well, Mr. Parks, in his snobbish style, called this young lady “Troubled” and went out of his way to mock her on his Blog. My question is, would have worded this article in this fashion; if this young lady were black? It is to truly wonder.
- Another fine example of Bob Park’s Black Bigotry against white people is a posting called “Return of the Retard.” A posting about a Bill in the house that contained some offensive language. That I personally, as the Nephew of a Developmentally disabled Aunt, would personally find offensive myself. In this posting; naturally a picture of a White mentally retarded Child is used. Why would Bob Parks use a picture of a mentally retarded White baby, as the picture is called? You decide.
There are a few more, but those are the two that really stuck out to me. Why else would Mr. Parks word things like he does? Why else would he use a picture of a white retarded child? Instead of maybe a black retarded child. Because he is a black racist bigot.
Which further fuels my belief, that blacks cannot be true blue Conservatives. Because of their inherent hatred of the White race, due to the sins of our fore-fathers years ago. It is just not in their DNA. Bob Parks might fool some, with his slick talk and masterful use of smoke and mirrors; but this White American Conservative is not fooled At all. Update: After some serious reflection; I have lined this part out. I made a fatal mistake, I did something rather idiotic and stupid; something that I abhor more than identity politics; and that is making blanket statements. I apologize for this. While I do have my serious doubts about African-Americans and their ability to actually be Conservatives. It would be abjectly foolish of me to say that I, in fact, know that they cannot be, because I just cannot know everyone’s heart. ACORN being outnumbered, out voiced and literally out debated left the area in a hurry. We followed.
After receiving communication that they fled to Stop and Shop in Bohemia 40+ patriots showed up and overwhelmed them there too. What a sight. Again ACORN took flight. They didn’t know how to react other then demanding we leave. We demanded an equal moment of time to discuss the meat and potatoes of the Obama health Care plan, they refused and retreated. I witnessed many passersby refusing to sign their petition; one even scratched their name off the list after we spoke to them. Almost every person I encountered was interested and I was relieved as almost all agreed with us. There was a little drama when a passerby vehemently argued for the plan, it was contentious but that’s liberty and democracy at work.
The only news agency seen was a local group from Alternative News based here on LI. The police were on scene, but remained out of the way as we did our own policing and respecting of the peace.
Score this a huge victory. I hope this inspires everyone to get up and get off the side-lines. You want change, than be silent no more! Silence is another form of consent, don’t be silent-don’t consent.

The brick, thrown through a 4-year-old boy’s bedroom window, read “Keep Eastside Black. Keep Eastside Strong.”
The homeowner, Barbara Frische, who is white, said she has lived in the home for 10 years.
“

It’s the first time anything like this has ever happened to me,” she said.
Frische was featured in a Statesman Watch article published in May in which she lobbied for action to be taken on a charred house that posed a safety hazard.
She has not received negative feedback from area residents about the article, she said, and does not believe this morning’s incident is connected to it.
Police have not classified this incident as a hate crime, said Austin Police Sgt. Richard Stresing, because hate crimes target an individual specifically because of an identifying characteristic, like race. Police say the incident has been classified as criminal mischief and deadly conduct.
Incidents found to be based on race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability or gender are flagged as hate crimes, Stresing said, so they can be referred to the Department of Justice.
In Austin, law enforcement agencies notified the Department of Justice of five hate crime incidents in 2007, the most recent year statistics were available in the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report. Two were based on race, two were based on ethnicity and one was based on sexual orientation.
That is a decrease from 2006, when the city reported 13 hate crimes, eight of which were racially motivated, one was religion-based, two were based on sexual orientation and two were on ethnicity.
The state reported a total of 242 hate crime incidents in 2007.
It’s difficult to count how many hate crimes occur in Austin because people often don’t report them, said Lisa Goodgame, director of the Austin chapter of the Anti-Defamation League. She said many people are too afraid to approach law enforcement officials or human rights agencies about their situations.
“Just because we haven’t heard reports of them doesn’t mean they don’t happen,” Goodgame said.

Henry Louis Gates, Jr controls a tax-exempt, non-profit charity, Inkwell Foundation, Inc, that managed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct support in one year, yet only gave out $27,500 in grants, the bulk of which went to Gates’ employees and Harvard colleagues. Also, as recently as September 2008, the Boston Globe reported that Gates’ charity was not in compliance with the law for failing to register the proper paperwork, despite the charity existing since 2005. The charge at the time was that it was “bogus,” as you’ll see below. In fact, the state Attorney General’s office told the Globe the charity was likely either inactive, or dissolved. Yet, documents below show the charity is healthy, wealthy and active.
Is it possible that Henry Louis Gates, Jr. was acting strange when law enforcement showed up at his door because he didn’t want the story below to come out? It may take a tax lawyer to answer that question, but based on this research, it can’t be ruled out. We know the press has questioned Gates about the charity in the past and gotten no response.

Because there was a time sir, when the real founders of this Country actually RULED this land and people like you; were taken care of and not in very nice ways. A black police officer who was at Henry Louis Gates Jr.’s home when the black Harvard scholar was arrested says he fully supports how his white fellow officer handled the situation.
Sgt. Leon Lashley says Gates was probably tired and surprised when Sgt. James Crowley demanded identification from him as officers investigated a report of a burglary. Lashley says Gates’ reaction to Crowley was “a little bit stranger than it should have been.”
Asked if Gates should have been arrested, Lashley said supported Crowley “100 percent.”

I could be wrong, but still the explanation for his reason for being arrested just does not wash with me, at all. It gets worse, though. Chris Parry, it appears, has advocated on his Daily Kos blog any number of egregious offenses, among them: posting hate speech on sites like Free Republic and blaming it on conservatives. Parry posted under the name “hollywoodoz” on Daily Kos, where his signature was “Fool me once, I’ll punch you in the fucking head.” Parry outed himself as hollywoodoz here, where he discloses the company he helped start. In essence: Parry, the journalist, found his story right where he’d been circling it for a very long time, and reported it as news. Sigh.
Bottom line: Parry’s noble intentions are paving him a road to hell, by taking the same one the slimeball majority at Free Republic employs. They’re probably going to cheer a “mainstream,” centrist blog pointing out the offenses of a liberal reporter trying to expose hate speech, but they shouldn’t get it mixed up. A quick glance at Free Republic and you’ll probably see the same thing I did: some of the most egregious examples that lend credence to the idea that some people just shouldn’t be allowed near a keyboard, or to open their mouths, no matter what their political affiliation. Or, as some would have it: STFU.
There you have it; What happened, basically in four paragraphs.
Here is my take on all this mess. As someone who has went over the line once myself. Hate Speech is wrong. I do not give two flips who is doing it. I do not care, if you are a Right Winger, or a Liberal. This sort of nonsense is wrong. You say, “But they do it!”, So what? Do two wrongs make a right? Hell No! It just makes two wrong people! This Chris Parry nut-job ought to be fired for trying to smear Conservatives, and ought to be SUED for a libel by the owner of the Free Republic. Not to mention the Vancouver Sun for allowing this idiot to write this report.
Just as well; The owner of the Free Republic ought to take some responsibility for the actions of his users. Whomever made the racist comments ought to be banned for life from that site. I know that I have had to snip some comments here from this Blog myself, when a couple people went overboard. It is simply called responsibility.
My feelings on this subject are not limited my partisan or Political Ideology. What is wrong; is wrong. No matter who is doing it. Period.
