This has been making the rounds on Twitter and here it is:
Music: The Red Army Choir – Russian National Anthem
Despite all the spin by some; it looks like there was a decent crowd there today.
I’d say as many as Glenn Beck had at his rally.
However, it is fair to point out that there were communists, unionists, Liberals, and even few weirdos there.
Not to mention how they left the place: (H/T Doug Ross)
However, I will say, as a libertarian-minded person; that this people have as much right to assemble peacefully, as the Tea Party group does. They also have a right to believe the way that they wish, as do the Tea Party Crowd does — even if it is horribly wrong. Being wrong and incredibly stupid, is not against the law. Because if it were, I would have been jailed eons ago. 😛
Wow. Looks like the real haters have finally discovered this blog.

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8Well, I find it fascinating that you, as a Klansman or an Arab Terrorist;
can actually read.Anyhow, I’m no fan boy for Israel. But I am not in the crowd of hate. If you
are, you have zero business being around my blog.Yes, I do criticize Wilsonian foreign policy. Further more, I criticize the
Neo-Cons who wish to put us into a perpetual state of war. However, my motivation is not hatred of the Jews, like yours. Mine is simply
looking at the realistic consequences of such actions. The Ironic part is, I am accused of being, what you really are. That, my
friend is the sick part.….and yes, I am publishing the e-mail to my site with my reply.
Good Day!

http://www.politicalbyline.com
That my friends is the long and short of it around here. If you are some Israel-hating, Jew Hating, Klansman; you have zero business being around here. I do not hate Jewish people at all. I simply want Republicans and Conservatives alike, to think about the consequences of their actions. It is not unreasonable to ask that people do that. It is, however, very unreasonable to accuse Israel of terrorism. I have no reason to believe that the U.S.S. Liberty was nothing more than a tragic accident. I also happen to know, that the Government of Israel paid the families of those killed and the survivors of the U.S.S. Liberty attack, a large sum of money for their mistake. — A fact often omitted by the hate crowd. In fact, the site that this buffoon refers to, is not a hate site at all, but rather a memorial site to the fallen. Sorry gang, but the conspiracy theory idiotic nonsense just does not interest me, at all. Further more, I question the motivations of those, who dispute the official story about the U.S.S. Liberty.
Update: I figure before anyone nails me on this; I will say it. At one time, I did question the official story of the U.S.S. Liberty. That is until I finally read that the Israeli Government paid those that were hurt or killed in the Accident a good sum of money. My reasoning is this; if Israel hit that ship on purpose. Then why the heck would they pay the people for their mistake? You see, that would not make any sense. As do not most of the idiots who claim that the U.S.S. Liberty attack was not an accident.
As another blogger would say, you do not like what I publish here? Go start your own damned Blog and publish the stuff YOU want people to read. But don’t come here and spew hate and expect me to agree with you. Because it simply isn’t going to happen.
I call myself a Paleo-Conservative, because for one; I disagree with Wilsonian Foreign Policy. For two, I think that Keynesian Economics is just wrong and does not work. (See Tax and Spend) Now, do I believe that the Government should be entirely decentralized? No. Further more, there does seem to be an element of Antisemitism within the Paleo-Conservative ranks. Well, I simply do not agree with those people.
Again, if you are a hater, a bigot, or whatever. Fine. Be one. But don’t come around here and start telling me how to write. Because I will simply tell you, what I tell the liberal morons who come here to start trouble; and that is to go fuck yourself. This is my blog, it is a journal of my thoughts, that I allow for public consumption. If you have a problem with what I write. There’s always other blogs out there; or you can start your own.
Oh, as for the accusation of Israel being terrorists. That is laughable on it’s face. Has Israel done things that I disagree with? Yes. But to use the word “terrorist” and Israel in the same sentence — is telling of the person using it. Not to mention it is just obvious that you are either; one, a Palestinian or a Neo-Nazi. Both of which I have no desire to give you anymore time, than I have to.
That is all.

Transcript:
CNN’s Rick Sanchez is not happy with being made fun of constantly on The Daily Show and Colbert Report. It is from this jumping off point that he absolutely unleashed on Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, and at times his own network, on Pete Dominick’s satellite radio show yesterday.
The big takeaway – Sanchez calls Stewart “a bigot,” then walks it back a bit, and he implies CNN is run by Jews.
The money quote:
I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.
Whoa……. 😯
What was I saying about people doing stupid stuff? Holy catfish…. 😯
To be fair, Sanchez did say that he was mindful of the past. But, cripes… Could you be just a little more sarcastic Rick?
A few other things: Sanchez ended his 8pmET version of Rick’s List today, and Parker Spitzer come in Monday. According to the same blog post, Dominick is starting a weekly Saturday 2:30pmET show on CNN tomorrow. We’ll get the audio up here shortly, but you can listen on Dominick’s site. And finally, we’ve reached out to CNN for a response.
He could be a little angry, maybe bitter. But my goodness. Does he have to be that much of sleazeball about it? 🙄
I’m just saying…
Now a Memeornadum Thread and the top news story of the day.
Also too, some of you might be thinking, what about you? Well, there’s a difference between being a wee little blogger and, um, ya know, Rich Sanchez.
Huge Update! CNN Says, “¡Adiós! ¡Hasta luego!”:
CNN released this statement today:
“Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.“
They will broadcast CNN Newsroom from 3-5pm for the foreseeable future.
I got news for you though; he knew he was going. That is why he got on the air and said what he did. He knew things were changing and he was not apart of it. So, Rick went off and said what he did, to get out of his contract….. and it worked.
of course, Rick will play the victim card and someone will eat that up. I look for him to pop up over at MSNBC or somewhere similar.
Oh Brother…. 🙄
According to the pool report, Obama thanked Phillips for the work he and his wife have done for Team Obama. Then the president mentioned that Phillips and Douglass have an opulent place in Italy and wondered why there had been no invitation to visit. “I’d appreciate a little break and some Tuscan sun,” the president said, according to the pool report. “Some pasta. I can use it.” — Obama: ‘I’d appreciate a little break’ | Washington Examiner
Way I see it, if this mother fucker cannot hang with the big dogs in D.C. Then, he needs to get his ass off the damn porch and get back to Kenya chi-town where he fucking belongs. Sorry if this sounds harsh; but I am a little fucking tired of listening to the President fucking whine about how fucking hard his god-damned job is. The way I see it, the mother fucker ran for President and he won, fair and square. He spent, what little time he has been on Congress and such critizing the previous President and thinking he could do a better job. Now, President Obama is in there, now he needs to do the job and quit the fucking whining or else, resign and let someone take over that can do the fucking job.

Updated: I thought I should add some more here; so that some of you can understand where I am coming from here. This is coming from someone who did not vote for George W. Bush. Now, having said that, let me say this — President George W. Bush; for all of his faults, as much as he was damned wrong about Foreign Policy —- never once, that I actually know of, ever publicly bitched or whined about how hard his job was or that he needed some sort of damned vacation. You think President Bush did not work hard during his tenure as President of United States? Please. 🙄 I would venture to guess that George W. Bush most likely dealt with more crap, as President; than Mr. Bambi Teleprompter will ever have to deal with. The truth is, as much as I thought Bush was wrong on many thing. I never, ever heard him complain about his job. That because CEO’s are not supposed to complain, they are leaders; and it is quite obvious to this damned writer that President Obama is not a leader, but rather a pen-pusher or a paper shuffler. He is not interested in leading, he is only interested in the glory and praise. Which is typical of people of his ilk.
So, in closing, my message to the President of the United States of America is this:
That is all. 😡
More of that Hope and Change in progress…..
Via the WSJ:
McDonald’s Corp. has warned federal regulators that it could drop its health insurance plan for nearly 30,000 hourly restaurant workers unless regulators waive a new requirement of the U.S. health overhaul.
McDonald’s warned federal regulators that it could drop its health insurance plan for nearly 30,000 workers unless regulators waive a new requirement of the U.S. health overhaul. Janet Adamy discusses. Also, Neal Lipschutz discusses the exit plan that the U.S. has agreed on to exit the governments interest in AIG.
The move is one of the clearest indications that new rules may disrupt workers’ health plans as the law ripples through the real world.
Trade groups representing restaurants and retailers say low-wage employers might halt their coverage if the government doesn’t loosen a requirement for “mini-med” plans, which offer limited benefits to some 1.4 million Americans.
The requirement concerns the percentage of premiums that must be spent on benefits.
While many restaurants don’t offer health coverage, McDonald’s provides mini-med plans for workers at 10,500 U.S. locations, most of them franchised. A single worker can pay $14 a week for a plan that caps annual benefits at $2,000, or about $32 a week to get coverage up to $10,000 a year.
Last week, a senior McDonald’s official informed the Department of Health and Human Services that the restaurant chain’s insurer won’t meet a 2011 requirement to spend at least 80% to 85% of its premium revenue on medical care.
McDonald’s and trade groups say the percentage, called a medical loss ratio, is unrealistic for mini-med plans because of high administrative costs owing to frequent worker turnover, combined with relatively low spending on claims.
Democrats who drafted the health law wanted the requirement to prevent insurers from spending too much on executive salaries, marketing and other costs that they said don’t directly help patients.
McDonald’s move is the latest indication of possible unintended consequences from the health overhaul. Dozens of companies have taken charges against earnings—totaling more than $1 billion—over a tax change in prescription-drug benefits for retirees.
More recently, insurers have proposed a round of double-digit premium increases and said new coverage mandates in the law are partly to blame. HHS has criticized the proposed increases as unwarranted.
Democrats, looking toward midterm elections in which the health overhaul is an issue, say it already has stopped insurance practices they call abusive, has given rebates to seniors with high out-of-pocket prescription costs and has allowed parents to keep children on their insurance plans until they turn 26.
McDonald’s, in a memo to federal officials, said “it would be economically prohibitive for our carrier to continue offering” the mini-med plan unless it got an exemption from the requirement to spend 80% to 85% of premiums on benefits. Officials said McDonald’s would probably have to hit the 85% figure, which applies to larger group plans. Its insurer, BCS Insurance Group of Oak Brook Terrace, Ill., declined to comment.
McDonald’s didn’t disclose what the plan’s current medical loss ratio was.
The issue of limited-benefit plans has also hit colleges, which face the same 80-to-85% requirement beginning next year.
“Having to drop our current mini-med offering would represent a huge disruption to our 29,500 participants,” said McDonald’s memo, which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. “It would deny our people this current benefit that positively impacts their lives and protects their health—and would leave many without an affordable, comparably designed alternative until 2014.”
Sorry, I have zero pity for them at all. These McDonald’s employees were stupid enough to vote for Obama, they should just take what comes to them and shut the hell up. I mean, they knew this man was a Democrat and they knew he was going to do all of this; so, I really do not believe that they have the right to gripe. Now, McDonald’s is going to have take their insurance; because of a stupid, misguided, moronic healthcare bill; that me and every other Conservative blogger out there warned them about. But did the liberals or the American people listen? No. So, I say — FUCK ‘EM! Let them go without insurance! Serves them right for voting for a “Magic Negro” Marxist.
Not like that these people really serve any real purpose anyhow. McDonald’s food is bad for you, and most of it tastes like shit anyhow; not to mention the people that work there. They are in that, what I like to call 15% category — they are the leeches of America. So, if they died off, it would be a savings to America anyhow. So, who cares if they have insurance. We real Americans would have to pay for it anyhow. So, fuck ’em, let ’em die off. No big loss anyhow.
Countdown to being called a racist, a hater, and more in 5…..4…..3…..2…….

Update: McDonald’s Denies the Story, of course…:
Video: (via the right scoop)
The Right Scoop Says:
My guess is that they are trying to avoid the public demonization that would likely come from this administration and this Congress – ya know, those greedy white fatcats stuffing their pockets at the oppression and exploitation of their employees. Yeah that demonization.
Plus, it sounds like they aren’t ready to announce this, and want to avoid the internal implications this could have on employees. Either way, the medical loss ratio is what it is, thanks to ObamaCare, and I wonder how long these insurance companies will be able to stay afloat. Hopefully, long enough for us to regain control and roll this disaster of a health plan back.
Sounds about right to me. Looks like this might be a very interesting story developing here. I will be following it.
From the “Seriously, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?!?!?” file:
The Video:
The Story via CNN:
Lusby, Maryland (CNN) — A conservative activist known for making undercover videos plotted to embarrass a CNN correspondent by recording a meeting on hidden cameras aboard a floating “palace of pleasure” and making sexually suggestive comments, e-mails and a planning document show.
James O’Keefe, best known for hitting the community organizing group ACORN with an undercover video sting, hoped to get CNN Investigative Correspondent Abbie Boudreau onto a boat filled with sexually explicit props and then record the session, those documents show.
The plan apparently was thwarted after Boudreau was warned minutes before it was supposed to happen.
“I never intended to become part of the story,” Boudreau said. “But things suddenly took a very strange turn.”
Here is another quote, and I realize that I might just catch grief for linking and quoting this; but at this point, I personally do not give two flips. Over at the liberal Media Matters for America, the following was said:
Riding a motorcycle on a wire stretched across the Grand Canyon is a “stunt.” Wearing a chicken suit to mock a political candidate for refusing to debate is a “stunt.” Unscrewing the cap on a salt shaker so your dining companion over-salts his soup is a “prank.”
Lying to a reporter in order to lure her onto a boat under false pretenses, then secretly recording her reaction to being confronted in an enclosed, unfamiliar environment by a strange man with handcuffs and sex toys, all while disparaging her as a “bubble-headed-bleach-blonde,” is not a “stunt.” It is the vicious, misogynist act of a twisted person whose 15 minutes should have expired long ago.
Let me officially go on the record saying that I agree with this one hundred percent. James O’Keefe should be chased out of the damned Conservative movement and ran out of it on a damned rail. This idiot is not doing a fucking thing for the Republican Party, for Conservatism, or any other damned thing related to it at all.
Of course, Sir-Idiot-Much, has this to say for his defense:
The document states it was written by “Ben.” According to the e-mail chain obtained by CNN, Ben Wetmore sent the document to O’Keefe and Santa. In a statement e-mailed to CNN, O’Keefe wrote: “That is not my work product. When it was sent to me, I immediately found certain elements highly objectionable and inappropriate, and did not consider them for one minute following it.”
He did not respond to follow-up questions. Wetmore did not respond to our questions about the document. Instead, he posted a YouTube video criticizing CNN’s coverage of the ACORN story.
What a lying piece of crap! This moronic tool got busted and now, he is trying to lie his way out of it. Here is hoping that CNN and this poor woman, sues the living crap out of this idiot and his so-called organization or that the Maryland Attorney General Office files charges against this moron. I mean, could you imagine the charges that this guy would faced; if he had actually went through with this and succeeded? Holy Hell! 😯
This goes well beyond your liberal versus conservative argument; this veers off into the misogynistic area. I notice that the Conservative Blogosphere is strangely silent about this too. I cannot for the life of me, understand why any conservative would even remotely defend this moron’s actions at all. There is no defense, he is a creep and ought to be blacklisted from the Conservative movement once and for all.
Please, folks, do not misunderstand me here, at all. I am all for arguing against the idea of big Government, entitlement of racial and gender type, and even protesting the Governmental take over of healthcare — hell, I even understand the liberals have basically overtaken the media and I am all for exposing their double standards. But not only do I think that this quite stupid, not to mention illegal. This is just straight up wrong and immoral, not to mention folks; it is just downright destructive to our cause. I mean, seriously, what the hell is doing something idiotic like this, going to do for our cause? Nothing! —-But make us even more stupid looking, that we already look to the left now.
In short and the bottom line: This was ill-conceived and the people behind it ought to be ostracized out of the movement…. for good.
—
Update: True to form, the Conservative media has turned out to denounce O’Keefe:
Brent Bozell III of Media Research Center:
The MRC unequivocally denounces James O’Keefe for his attempted assault on CNN. It isn’t just childish and immature; it’s ugly, dishonest and filthy. There is no place in the conservative movement for this type of behavior and that’s exactly what I warned about in a commentary piece I submitted to CNN.com just two days ago.
“Could the Citizen Journalist abuse the public trust?” I wrote in this piece that should run in the next few days. “Hypothetically, of course. Conservatives must all guard against this. Let there be scrutiny, by all means.” And I repeat: there must be scrutiny.
Bottom line: We want nothing to do with O’Keefe or his dirty antics.
If an enterprising citizen can expose media bias with a video camera and good idea, that’s a good thing. But I fail to see how luring a lone female reporter to a remote location and isolating her on a boat, surrounding her with sex toys and pornography, and trying to convince her that the virtual stranger sitting next to her is coming on to her, possibly in front of a “sex tape machine,” does that. That’s not a recipe for a gotcha video, it’s more like a step-by-step instruction on how to cause discomfort and fear. What an ugly and potentially traumatic situation to create on purpose. It’s not clever or funny, it’s sick.
There will no doubt be more details and, one assumes from the reporting, emails, that will fully establish who wrote what and whether O’Keefe was going to go through with the plan or not. Those details will probably be reported by Boudreau, an actual journalist.
So no, I don’t think “stunt” or “prank” are the right words. I think the one I would use is “despicable.”
Oh and Izzy Santa? Good for you.
Good. Looks like ol’ Christian-bashing Jew Alan Grayson will lose his job. Could not happen to a better idiot:
In one of the most closely watched U.S. House races in the nation, Republican Daniel Webster now holds a 7-point lead over Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson in Central Florida’s 8th Congressional District, according to a new Sunshine State News Poll.
Webster, a former state senator, leads the freshman congressman 43-36 in the survey of 559 likely voters conducted Sept. 25-27. TEA (“Taxed Enough Already”) Party candidate Peg Dunmire drew 6 percent and NPA hopeful George Metcalfe garnered 3 percent, while 9 percent remained undecided (2 percent cited “other” and 1 percent refused to state).
Digging deeper, the numbers look even worse for Grayson as 51 percent of respondents said they had an unfavorable view of the Orlando-area congressman.
“Grayson has real problems here,” said Jim Lee, president of Voter Survey Service, which conducted the poll for Sunshine State News.
“He’s even more unpopular than the president, which is not surprising given how controversial he has been with his rhetoric, overall style and TV ads.”
Lee added, “It’s fascinating that both Grayson and the president have virtually the same image (a positive/negative ratio of 34/51), but Grayson is actually disliked more by independents (36/47 favorable/unfavorable) while Obama is only 36/37.”
Andy Sere, spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, D.C., said the Central Florida district “is ripe for a Republican pick-up, even if we weren’t running against Alan Grayson.”
Calling Grayson’s views “so far outside the maintstream,” Sere predicted that “a large swath of independents and conservative Democrats will hand him a resounding defeat in November.”
Tom Gaitens, Florida director for FreedomWorks, said the Washington, D.C-based tea group has focused on the CD8 race “from the beginning.”
“Grayson is an obnoxious antagonist to tea partiers and raised the ire of the movement,” Gaitens said. “He’s probably the biggest lightning rod-type candidate in the nation.”
With controversial TV ads like “Taliban Dan,” in which the Democrat tried to portray the Baptist Webster as a religious extremist, “Grayson put himself in the crosshairs,” Gaitens said.
“It’s his character to say foolish things, and he doesn’t handle stress well. He’ll see this poll and get more desperate,” said Gaitens, who predicts a 10-point victory for Webster.
via Poll: Obama, Dems Poised to Lose Grayson House Seat | Sunshine State News.
Let that be a lesson to the Democratic Party. You allow your candidates to bash Christians, and in this man’s case — Baptists. You pay the price at the polls. As I said in the title — Mission Accomplished. 😀

Sorry, but I wholeheartedly reject President Obama’s claim of being a Christian. He is not, at least by the definition of a Christian according to the Word of God. Here are the scriptures that testify to what exactly Salvation in Christ really is:
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:7-13 KJV)
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10 KJV)
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23 KJV)
Now, what must be done:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 KJV)
How this is accomplished:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-13 KJV)
Anything other than this is Religious nonsense and is a lie. Period.
Consider this message, by a Fundamental Baptist of old; Dr. G. B. Vick, Pastor of the former Temple Baptist Church of Detroit. (Now known as Northridge Church)
That my friend is what Salvation in Christ really is.
I have avoided writing about this topic, because not too long ago, I was branded a Neo-Nazi and Anti-Semite by those whose business it is to play that card. However, as a Christian, as an American Conservative —- I will not sit idly by and allow a Jewish man to slander a Christian man in this manner.
However, let me say this; this is not about hatred towards a Jewish man. This is about a liberal man, who happens to be Jewish, taking a very nasty swipe at Christianity —- All in the name of politics. Let me clear, I said this in the title and I will say it again. Alan Grayson is an utter disgrace to the Jewish race and to Judaism itself. Alan Grayson should be refuted and severely chastised by the Democratic Party and told to remove the ad or be removed as the candidate for the House of Representatives. There is no place in politics for the bashing of political opponents religion.
Here is the video in question:
Now here are the words of Daniel Webster in their proper context:
Now this is very surprising, even Contessa Brewer over at MSNBC; much to her credit would not even let this one go:
Okay, can we be real about this now? If a Christian Conservative Republican candidate had attacked a Democratic Party candidate like this, the outrage would be apoplectic. However, because it is a Jewish man attacking a Christian — there is not a word of outrage. My question is why are not AIPAC and the many other Jewish lobbying groups putting out a statement condemning this sort of obvious slander of Christianity, by a liberal Jew?
I mean, could you just imagine; if a Republican Candidate put something like this out?
Could you just image what the Liberal Blogosphere would do to that person? —- Not to mention some in the Neo-Conservative Blogosphere! So, why is that this man is getting away with this, without any repercussions from the Democratic Party? Why is not AIPAC condemning it? Why is this man getting a free pass by the liberals?
While you are thinking about this:
Again, this is not about hate at all, it is about realism folks —- If the Republican Candidate had even remotely thought about putting an ad like the one above by a one David Duke. The outrage would be off the charts. However, because Alan Grayson is a Jewish liberal he gets a free pass. Why is that?
Until those in the media are willing to ask those questions, it is nothing more the rube for the Democratic Party and for the likes of Alan Grayson.
I happen to know why too… but first:

More people are getting their news about the upcoming election from cable television than any other source, and from Fox News more than any other cable channel, according to a POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Poll released Monday.
The poll found that 81 percent of those polled get their news about the midterm elections from cable channels, like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or their websites, compared with 71 percent from national network news channels, such as ABC, NBC or CBS, and their websites.
Among cable news channels, Fox was the clear winner, with 42 percent of respondents saying it is their main source, compared with 30 percent who cited CNN and 12 percent who rely on MSNBC.
The results show the growing influence that 24-hour cable news has on shaping the political consciousness, despite the fact that network newscasts still draw many multiples of the number of viewers of even the highest-rated cable news shows.
“Because people can tune into cable at any time of day, I think the cumulative audience is probably larger than the cumulative audience for the three network news shows,” said Chris Arterton, dean of the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
The real funny part about this, is the following:
Fox’s opinionated personalities were also rated as having the greatest positive impact on the political debate in the country. Bill O’Reilly was rated as having, by far, the greatest positive impact, with 49 percent of respondents rating him positively, and 32 percent negatively.
Glenn Beck was the second most-positively rated personality, with 38 percent of respondents saying he had a positive impact, and 32 percent saying he had a negative impact.
Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was the third-most-positively ranked, with 36 percent saying he has a positive impact on the discourse, but his negatives far outweighed his positives, with 52 percent saying he has a negative impact.
“To some extent, Limbaugh has become almost a caricature in a way, so I don’t know how much influence he has beyond entertainment value,” Arteron said. “Whereas, in some way, the other people on Fox are seen as more legitimate news operations.”
MSNBC’s personalities were largely ranked as unknown by respondents: 70 percent said they had never heard of Ed Schultz, 55 percent said they had never heard of Rachel Maddow and 42 percent said they had never heard of Keith Olbermann.
The reason?
(Borrowed from Weasel Zippers)
There is a personal angle to this story and I am going to share it with you. During the 1990’s, I was a watcher of CNN, mainly because that was about the only cable news outlet out there at the time. Please keep in mind that back on those days, I was very unaware or unconcerned about media bias. I always knew that the media, which I referred to, at the time, as the “secular media”; always had a bias against Christianity, Christians and the Church World as a whole.
However, I really do not know when it started really, most likely, after the election of George W. Bush; but it seemed like the bias and antagonistic mentality towards Christians, Christianity, and the Church World began to come to a feverish pitch around 2006 or so. At least, that is when I began to notice it with any somewhat real cognizant effort. The straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, is when CNN did a special called “What is a Christian?” Which I felt was a purposeful attack on Christianity in general. However, when they did a special on Muslims, it was titled “God’s Warriors.” That is when I decided that CNN had “Crossed the Rubicon” in my book. So, I switched to MSNBC. I knew that MSNBC would be a bit like CNN, but they had tucker Carlson on there. Therefore, that would balance it out. I remembered tucker from the CNN days —- I also remember him being a bit of an asshole as well. I knew about his background, which admittedly made me cringe a bit. However, when I began watch his show, I found that I actually began agreeing with what he was saying. I should also point out, that this was around the time, that I began blogging. I was inspired, mainly by Lou Dobbs and with an utter frustration with what the Bush Administration was doing in Iraq.
However, things over at MSNBC began to change; first off, Tucker’s show was cancelled, that just flat out angered me. I thought Tucker’s show balanced out the other opinions, like Olbermann. Then the jockeying of talent around, all of whom had one thing in common — They were all liberal. That bothered me a bit. Therefore, I did what any sane, reasoned person would do. I began to watch Fox News — in a very limited fashion at first. I would watch Keith Obermann’s show at eight o’clock and then I would catch the repeat of Bill O’Reilly’s show at Eleven o’clock.
I should also mention that around this time, is when I began to see the writing on wall, so to speak, in the Democratic Party. The Party that once stood for middle class people and people like me, who were held back, due to personal circumstances, was becoming the party of identity politics. I also began to see that the Democratic Party was much biased and geared against middle class and above white people —- like me. Yes, I am aware, that identity politics and gender entitlement always was a faction within the Democratic Party. However, until the 2007 Primary, I do not believe that it was the “mainstay” of that party. In 2007, that all changed, with the battle between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama; it was the blacks against the feminists and that was when I decided that enough was enough. Also around this time, my blog was hacked and I had to start over from scratch and I decided that cheering for the left; even though I was a left-of-center and not really ever a fully-fledged Democrat — was an exercise in abject folly. Therefore, I began blogging from an Independent standpoint and as time went on, I found myself agreeing more and more with the right on most, if not all issues.
Now there are some issues that I am in disagreement with, however, they are nothing worth totally separating me from the right. Most of them are on the framing of arguments against the left. Example: Socialism and Unions —- I believe it to be a credible argument to say that socialism has contributed to the downfall of Michigan and the Detroit area. Further, I believe it to be a legitimate argument to say that the Unions have added to the cost of vehicles offered by the auto companies. The problem is that the right needs to work on the polish and verbiage of those legitimate arguments. Casting unions in the light of some covert Communist operation does nothing but make the right look like total buffoons.
Finally, my viewing of MSNBC finally stopped, after a woman by the name of Janeane Garofalo took to the airwaves on MSNBC and declared on Keith Olbermann’s show that the Tea Party movement was nothing more than a bunch of racist white people and racist rednecks. It was at that point, when I decided, that Keith Olbermann and his show were not something that I felt that I needed to watch any longer. I am sorry, but when you use your show and one of your guests as a proxy to insult a particular ethnic group of people — especially one that I happen to be involved in — you are practicing the politics of exclusion; and that is, I am afraid, not something that I can and will ever support. The Bush Administration tried this back in 2003, during the run up to and after the start of the Iraq War. Those that were opposed to the war in Iraq were labeled by the Bush Administration and its supporters as Anti-American. Conversely, it is believed by some, that certain persons within the Bush Administration purposely derailed the career of a covert C.I.A. agent of whom husband did criticize the decision to go to war.
This all again, is the practice of derisive politics, something I thought that the left detested; however, it seems that the left engaged in the same sorts of folly themselves — Not only in just the general politics itself, but also in the media coverage — but also in the actually reporting of news as well. I remember well how Keith Olbermann and many of his fellow liberals liked and still do like to blast Fox News for allow opinion to seep into the normal news programs in the morning. However, I have watched MSNBC, and have seen liberal bias in the morning news reporting there as well. Therefore, to this writer, that nullifies any argument that the left has against Fox News or any other sort of Conservative outlet. I mean, it only makes sense that you cannot criticize someone for doing something that you do yourself. Then again, common sense does not seem to be in great abundance in liberal Democrat circles these days. Just look at whom the Democratic Party installed as President — that ought to speak volumes as to the condition of liberalism, and the Democratic Party in general in this modern day and age. I mean a perfect example of the elite liberal establishment can be seen, when Bill Maher calls those who do not want the nationalized heathcare, as stupid. This is the attitude of the liberal populace and establishment as a whole; that most Americans are uneducated stupid people, who must have the enlightened ones makes the decisions, because most Americans are too stupid to know what it good for them — that is essentially liberalism distilled to its basic parts. This is why I sided against them. They do not trust people like me, to be able to make our own decisions. Further, they wish to quell my free will, which is given to me, by God himself, to accept or reject what it is that they wish to foist upon me.
In closing of this rather long article — I am quite the windbag, when I want to be — the reason for these dismal ratings for MSNBC is that that network has and is continuing to engage in intellectual dishonesty. This began right after the election of President Barack Obama. This should be proof that you just cannot propagandize the American people — not for very long anyhow. Americans are just smarter than the liberal elite and some elite among the Conservative establishment, give them credit for being. Americans just have that uncanny ability to know when they are being sold a line of tripe.
This friends, is what makes us a great Nation and for this, I am eternally grateful.
Nothing like watching a self absorbed douche bag getting schooled by another self absorbed douche bag.

AMY HOLMES, CNN CONTRIBUTOR: In point of fact, Democrats did talk about healthcare endlessly. President Obama went out on the stump talking about, “Pass this bill, pass this bill.” Bill Clinton said once it was passed it would become popular. Bill Clinton now, he confesses that he made a mistake, that it has not become more popular.
BILL MAHER, HOST: It’s been kicked in for two days…
HOLMES: It’s become less popular, and here’s why.
MAHER: …and most of it doesn’t kick in till 2014. Could we wait till people see it before we can judge whether it’s popular?
HOLMES: You’re asking why…
(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)
MAHER: Please, sorry.
HOLMES: But you’re asking why Democrats are not campaigning on this. Because in the next 40 days with a bill that is hugely unpopular, it’s not good for their re-election process.
MAHER: It would be popular if they would talk about it. They could have, if they could stand up for what they believe they could have passed Medicare for all. That’s what they should have done. What they should have said is insurance companies have a million other things to insure. They insure your car and your house and if it rains and there’s a flood and an earthquake and Betty Grable’s legs and a million other things. They don’t need to also insure life. Life should be off the table.
HOLMES: They talked endlessly about it and their agenda was rejected by the American people, that’s a simple fact.
MAHER: Because they’re stupid.
This is where it gets good:
ANDREW BREITBART: So you’re, you’re officially not a Libertarian anymore, right? I mean, this position…
MAHER: Well..
BREITBART: …has run so far from the Libertarian position. Is this, so you admit that you have more of a, you know, European socialist leaning perspective on this issue?
(AUDIENCE LAUGHTER)
BREITBART: Why is that funny?
MAHER: I’m, I’m not afraid, it’s not, I’m not afraid to say European socialism works.
No true-blue libertarian would ever say that, at all.
The funniest thing about this? I’m not sure Maher does know. He knows he’s more socialist than libertarian when it comes to health care, but as a general proposition about how he self-identifies, he seems hesitant when Breitbart puts it to him. That’s a testament, I think, to how intellectually attractive the libertarian brand is, ironically almost in inverse proportion to how successful it is at the polls. Democrats bristle at the “socialist” label but tell any Republican pol or pundit except Mike Huckabee that he’s a “libertarian” — especially in the year of the tea party — and he’s likely to agree, albeit with qualifiers. And why not? The brand means free markets, property rights, civil liberties, and most importantly for Maher, permissiveness towards drug use and sexual behavior. The Constitution + fun = crazy delicious. And because libertarianism tends to operate in popular debate as a critique of mainstream conservatism (even though, of course, economically it’s a much sharper critique of liberalism), it’s a useful way of endorsing certain elements of the GOP agenda without endorsing the entire rotten GOP brand, essentially shorthand for saying, “I like capitalism but I’m too thoughtful to be a Republican.” None of which is meant to impugn committed libertarians like the Reason crew, just guys like Maher who dig the label and the slight charge of dissident chic that it carries so much that they’re reluctant to part with it, even after they’ve (d)evolved into center-left Democrats.
True ‘dat! 😀
The difference is, that libertarians actually believe, unlike most Republicans, that big Government is actually a problem. Where most Republicans say that big Government is a problem, but in another breath praise big Government. (Hello Social Security!)
Stephen Colbert has proven to Americans what many, including myself, have believed for years; that politics in Washington D.C. is a horrific joke gone horribly bad.
First the Video:
Many in the Blogging community are quite angry about the little stunt pulled off by Stephen Colbert. However, I believe many are missing the broader point that I believe was being made by Stephen Colbert. The broader point is this; politics in Washington DC, not by just the Democrats, but by the Republicans as well — is nothing more than a horrific joke gone horribly bad.
The Democrats have proven this, by their idiotic socialist programs that nobody has ever really wanted, but has had them crammed down their throats for the last 50 years. Then it is with the Republicans and their supposed new plan, which is nothing more than old tired Neo-Conservative, water-down theocratic nonsense that the Republican Party and the social Conservatives have been pimping to the American masses as “true Americanism” for years.
The truth is, my dear readers, is this; The Republican Party during the Bush era got addicted to spending, and took the proverbial car and went joy riding in it. The Democratic Party took that car and got the keys away from the Republicans, got in that car, and proceeded to drive it over a cliff and ruin the Democratic Party in the process. Now, the Republicans want to get in what is left of that car and drive it off another cliff again; and proceed back to the same spending on the same pet projects. Pet projects like the military industrial complex that they have been building since around the time of President Eisenhower. The sick and sad part is that the American people will most likely be just damned gullible enough to allow them to do it all over again.
This process will continue until someone from an independent party, with millions decides to run and put a stop to the madness or unless, which will likely be the case; or our Nation goes totally broke and our currency system becomes valueless. Which I happen to believe will most likely happen very quickly, unless we stop with the idiotic spending that we have absolutely no money at Ft. Knox to cover in gold. Why do you think that I have the program on here, so that my readers can invest in Gold if they want to? Because I happen to know that something, whatever it is, is going to happen to our monitory system, if we do not quit this crazy spending; and I want my readers to have a way to survive, if it does happen. If it does not, then hey, what have you lost? Nothing at all — – and you will have a little extra come retirement time.
I mean, I really get a huge kick out of these Conservatives, who believe that the Republicans taking back the White House and Congress are going to mean a return to Reagan Conservatism. That has to be the biggest slap in the face to everyone who has even remotely admired Ronald Reagan. Reagan knew what these Neo-Conservatives wanted, and he kept them at arm’s length. Ronald Reagan also was a bit of an economic populist, and he despised those who wanted outright globalism — which, by the way, the Democrats, arm in arm with the globalist Neo-Conservatives; finally was able to bring to pass, at the expense of the American worker.
However, we must be real about President Ronald Reagan; he too was not a perfect President either. Under President Ronald Reagan, the federal deficit went up. President Ronald Reagan, by all accounts, was a dismal failure at dealing with international terrorism. This too was taken advantage of, by the Neo-Conservatives, starting with George H.W. Bush and his “New World Order” something that the supporters of Ronald Reagan, particularly the hardcore Conservative Christian crowd, heard as “One World Government” and fled the Republican Party in large numbers.
Therefore, while I believe that Stephen Colbert’s appearance on the hill might have been a huge embarrassment for Democrats. I believe it just shows us, where big Government liberalism and Rockefeller Conservatism also known as Neo-Conservatism has gotten this Country in the last 30 years. However, I do not expect the current Republican Party or the Democratic Party will ever return to their pro-American moral foundations anytime soon. Much too many social, ethnic, and religious special interest groups are controlling both political parties in Washington D.C.
Hmmmm:
Top Obama adviser David Axelrod got an earful of the liberal blogosphere’s anger at the White House moments ago, when a blogger on a conference call directly called out Axelrod over White House criticism of the left, accusing the administration of “hippie punching.”
“We’re the girl you’ll take under the bleachers but you won’t be seen with in the light of day,” the blogger, Susan Madrak of Crooks and Liars, pointedly told Axelrod on the call, which was organzied for liberal bloggers and progressive media.
The call seemed to perfectly capture the tense dynamic that exists between the White House and the online and organized left: Though White House advisers in the past have dumped on the left, anonymously and even on the record, Axelrod repeatedly pleaded with the bloggers on the call for help in pumping up the flagging enthusiasm of rank and file Dems.
“You play a great role in informing people about the stakes of elections,” Axelrod told the bloggers. “One of the reasons I was eager to expend time was to enlist you.”
But hovering over the call was the obvious disconnect between this plea for help and statements like those of Robert Gibbs, who recently pilloried the “professional left” for being overly critical of the White House.
That tension burst out into the open when Madrak directly asked Axelrod: “Have you ever heard of hippie punching?” That prompted a long silence from Axelrod.
“You want us to help you, the first thing I would suggest is enough of the hippie punching,” Madrak added. “We’re the girl you’ll take under the bleachers but you won’t be seen with in the light of day.”
Personally, I think Hippy Punching is pretty cool:
See? 😉
I was not going to touch this; but seeing that Jim Hoft is being attacked and they are trying to tie me to it — here is the story:
The Video: (via KOMO-TV)
The Story via The Seattle Times:
Two men who were questioned and released by Seattle police after a West Seattle teen was beaten in a racially charged attack have been charged in connection with the May 25 assault. One of the men was arrested Tuesday evening.
DNA recently linked Ahmed Mohamed and Jonathan Baquiring to the attack in which a 16-year-old boy was robbed, taunted with racial insults, burned with a lit cigarette and punched repeatedly. Mohamed, 22, and Baquiring, 21, each were charged Monday with first-degree robbery and malicious harassment, the state’s hate-crime statute.
Baquiring was booked into the Seattle Correctional Facility just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to the King County Jail Booking Register. His bail is set at $500,000.
Seattle police are still searching for Mohamed.
King County Deputy Prosecutor Samantha Kanner will also seek to have Mohamed held on $500,000 bail once he is arrested, according to charging papers.
The victim, Shane McClellan, said he was walking home around 2 a.m. when two men, whom he described as black and Filipino, asked him for a light.
He said the two men then robbed him and beat him for four hours, whipping him with his own belt while saying things like, “How do you like it, white boy?” and “This is for enslaving our people,” according to the police report.
McClellan, who is white, said the two men also poured Four Loko energy beer on him, burned him with a cigarette and urinated on him, police said.
Okay now, I want these bastards to attack me. The thugs that attacked this white man, were not “Black People”, they were not ‘African-Americans” — they were NEGRO and ASIAN thugs! Period! Racism? Please. 🙄 What about Shannon Christian and Christopher Newsom from Knoxville, Tennessee —- a white couple tortured, raped and killed by blacks? Were those people racists too? The police conveniently did not classify that as a hate crime! Because it did not fit liberal narrative; that all white people are evil and we are the one’s that hurt blacks. Which is of course, straight up BULLSHIT!
Now look at this face!
Now you tell me that I should “celebrate diversity”….. and I will tell you, what I tell every damned body that tells me that….:
and by the way liberals. I happen to think this site is pretty damned cool. Why? Because I happen to think that the liberal idea of Diversity IS CRAP! 😡 Update: However, I am not sending that hate site no traffic. Not smart.
I could save that town a whole bunch of money; get a good rope and damn tree and FIX that little situation! Now bring it on liberals —- BRING IT THE FUCK ON, PLEASE. I FUCKING DARE YOU! I want to see you justify this fucking crime; please, do it. I want to, so bad, to prove my damned point about you fucking bastards. BRING IT!
Update: I guess now, that they will call me a Neo-Nazi for posting this. which, of course, bullcrap.
I was not going to blog about this, unless Jim did himself. Finally, he has.
It seems some leftist idiots have once again, using the stupid guilt by association tactic, tried to smear Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit. (Sort of like a few on the right have done to me.)
I realize that Jim Hoft is in among the crowd of people, who have smeared me or is at least friends with them. However, because I am a Christian, Because I am a Conservative — a Paleo-Conservative, but I digress —- who despises liberals and thier idiotic guilt by association nonsense. I will stand up and say something about this.
I noticed these liberal nutballs had linked to my site. For the record, I simply brought up some of Mr. Hoft’s linking habits at one time; however, I went very much out of way to state that I did NOT think that Jim was a racist — at all.
There is nothing more that infuriates me more than Neo-Conservative warmongering and identity politics on the right —- and that is the collectivist tripe of the far left. Yes, I know it happens on the right too. I know, I have been singled out myself, by some so-called Conservatives. However, they learned that crap from the far liberal left — and it is wrong.
So, to the liberal jack-wads who tried to use me, as a ploy to smear Jim Hoft. Nice try guys. 🙄 But there are just some people, like me, and the rest of the damn Country; that are just a little more smarter than that.
Which is another reason why I will never, ever, vote for a damn Democrat, ever again.
—
Corrected some grammar errors and made a part of the posting a bit more clear. Sorry about that. 😳
I am poking my head back in again — to comment on the big Bob Woodward story, that is the top story on Memeorandum.
I am referring to this:
President Obama urgently looked for a way out of the war in Afghanistan last year, repeatedly pressing his top military advisers for an exit plan that they never gave him, according to secret meeting notes and documents cited in a new book by journalist Bob Woodward.
Frustrated with his military commanders for consistently offering only options that required significantly more troops, Obama finally crafted his own strategy, dictating a classified six-page “terms sheet” that sought to limit U.S. involvement, Woodward reports in “Obama’s Wars,” to be released on Monday.
According to Woodward’s meeting-by-meeting, memo-by-memo account of the 2009 Afghan strategy review, the president avoided talk of victory as he described his objectives.
“This needs to be a plan about how we’re going to hand it off and get out of Afghanistan,” Obama is quoted as telling White House aides as he laid out his reasons for adding 30,000 troops in a short-term escalation. “Everything we’re doing has to be focused on how we’re going to get to the point where we can reduce our footprint. It’s in our national security interest. There cannot be any wiggle room.”
Obama rejected the military’s request for 40,000 troops as part of an expansive mission that had no foreseeable end. “I’m not doing 10 years,” he told Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at a meeting on Oct. 26, 2009. “I’m not doing long-term nation-building. I am not spending a trillion dollars.”
Woodward’s book portrays Obama and the White House as barraged by warnings about the threat of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil and confronted with the difficulty in preventing them. During an interview with Woodward in July, the president said, “We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it and we are stronger.”
But most of the book centers on the strategy review, and the dissension, distrust and infighting that consumed Obama’s national security team as it was locked in a fierce and emotional struggle over the direction, goals, timetable, troop levels and the chances of success for a war that is almost certain to be one of the defining events of this presidency.
Obama is shown at odds with his uniformed military commanders, particularly Adm. Mike Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. David H. Petraeus, head of U.S. Central Command during the 2009 strategy review and now the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan.
Woodward reveals their conflicts through detailed accounts of two dozen closed-door secret strategy sessions and nearly 40 private conversations between Obama and Cabinet officers, key aides and intelligence officials.
Tensions often turned personal. National security adviser James L. Jones privately referred to Obama’s political aides as “the water bugs,” the “Politburo,” the “Mafia,” or the “campaign set.” Petraeus, who felt shut out by the new administration, told an aide that he considered the president’s senior adviser David Axelrod to be “a complete spin doctor.”
During a flight in May, after a glass of wine, Petraeus told his own staffers that the administration was “[expletive] with the wrong guy.” Gates was tempted to walk out of an Oval Office meeting after being offended by comments made by deputy national security adviser Thomas E. Donilon about a general not named in the book.
Suspicion lingered among some from the 2008 presidential campaign as well. When Obama floated the idea of naming Clinton to a high-profile post, Axelrod asked him, “How could you trust Hillary?”
Okay, first off, has everyone forgotten that 90% of what Bob Woodward writes is just straight up, sensationalized Bullshit? The Neo-Cons sure did say that, when Bob Woodward wrote his book about Bush. However, now the Neo-Cons are treating this book like the Gospel truth; because it is about a Democratic Party President. Of course, the warmongering Neo-Cons are eating the whole bit about the terrorist attack up and basically saying that President Obama wants another attack on America. Which is, of course, straight up bullshit.
Some of the other highlights are:
— Obama told Woodward in the July interview that he didn’t think about the Afghan war in the “classic” terms of the United States winning or losing. “I think about it more in terms of: Do you successfully prosecute a strategy that results in the country being stronger rather than weaker at the end?” he said.
— The CIA created, controls and pays for a clandestine 3,000-man paramilitary army of local Afghans, known as Counterterrorism Pursuit Teams. Woodward describes these teams as elite, well-trained units that conduct highly sensitive covert operations into Pakistan as part of a stepped-up campaign against al-Qaeda and Afghan Taliban havens there.
— Obama has kept in place or expanded 14 intelligence orders, known as findings, issued by his predecessor, George W. Bush. The orders provide the legal basis for the CIA’s worldwide covert operations.
— A new capability developed by the National Security Agency has dramatically increased the speed at which intercepted communications can be turned around into useful information for intelligence analysts and covert operators. “They talk, we listen. They move, we observe. Given the opportunity, we react operationally,” then-Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell explained to Obama at a briefing two days after he was elected president.
— A classified exercise in May showed that the government was woefully unprepared to deal with a nuclear terrorist attack in the United States. The scenario involved the detonation of a small, crude nuclear weapon in Indianapolis and the simultaneous threat of a second blast in Los Angeles. Obama, in the interview with Woodward, called a nuclear attack here “a potential game changer.” He said: “When I go down the list of things I have to worry about all the time, that is at the top, because that’s one where you can’t afford any mistakes.”
— Afghan President Hamid Karzai was diagnosed as manic depressive, according to U.S. intelligence reports. “He’s on his meds, he’s off his meds,” Woodward quotes U.S. Ambassador Karl W. Eikenberry as saying.
Again, I have to ask; how much of this is actual truth and how much of it is sensationalized bullshit?
Liberal Blogger No more Mister Nice Blog puts it correctly:
“It’s in our national security interest” “I am not spending a trillion dollars.” At least he understand that endless war is bad for America.
And the reason that’s important is that, if we’re still deeply mired in Afghanistan as of January 20, 2013, we’ll still be just as deeply mired four years later, because President Palin/Pence/Daniels/Thune/Huckabee/Barbour/Christie sure as hell ain’t gonna withdraw. But this semi-rationality on Obama’s part is going to be lost, and the bullet-point version of this entire book is going to be “Obama plans to surrender in Afghanistan to appease the evil traitorous voters in his party.”
I hate to say it; but he is absolutely correct. Because you all know that the Neo-Conservatives are all about perpetual war. But they call me a Neo-Nazi for pointing that out; and because I refuse to do the “Identity politics” for that particular warmongering class of people. I despise identity politics on the left and the right. That, according to the protected class, is being a Neo-Nazi. Which, like most of Bob Woodward’s writings, is just straight up bullshit.
Update: But of course. That is the same idiot that said that Iraq was an imminent danger to America and the rest of the free world back in 2003. Which of course, like Bob Woodward’s books; was straight up bullshit. 🙄
This comes via Real Clear Politics:
Quote:
“I’m one of your middle class Americans. And quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for,” a woman told President Obama at a town hall.
“My husband and I have joked for years that we thought we were well beyond the hot dogs and beans era of our lives, but, quite frankly, it’s starting to knock on our door and ring true that that might be where we’re headed again, and, quite frankly, Mr. President, I need you to answer this honestly. Is this my new reality?,” she added.
The response from the President can be found right here. I listened to about five seconds of it. The President started giving one of his, “I feel your pain” answers; which basically was nice talk for, “You voted for me lady; now deal with what you got and get back on the reservation were you belong!” 😛
However, to address the issue which you are seeing here. This is a classic example of buyer’s regret, and it is a classic textbook example of Democratic Party overreach. They promoted this man, as the “Messiah of Progressivism.” Now that elections are over, the stimulus, that was supposed to created all these jobs; has essentially flopped. Now that the healthcare bill, that nobody really wanted, has passed and the Democrats see that there is no public option; they are now feeling like that might have just been played like a fiddle. Which they were, by Marxists, who were masters at propaganda.
Now that the propaganda phase is over and the newness of a black president has worn off, and the American people see that absolutely nothing has change, including the fact that everyone is still struggling; people are beginning, on the Democratic Party side, to feel like they have been lied too. Which they were and they fell for it — hook, line and sinker. This happened during the Carter era, this happened during the Clinton Era and now it is happening during the Obama era of “Hope and Change.”
Memo to the Democrats: Those people in the White House do not give two flips about you or your problems! They only care about their careers in politics. You are only a means to an end. So, stop your whining and get to the ballot box come November and vote different!
To be fair, and because I am not some Neo-Conservative Blogger, who is simply cashing in on some trending topic. I will say this: Bush did do some of same stuff, when he was elected in 2000. Bush was elected on the promise that he would be a peacetime President. However, 9/11 happened; and the game changed, and the Neo-Conservative warmongers approached him and convinced him that invading Iraq was necessary. Which we all know now was a lie. So, just to show you. I do know that Conservatives have done the same thing. As much as I am glad that Iraq did turn out well; I will not sit here and lie to you all and say it was needed. Iraq was a mistake, that turned out reasonably well. However, the situation is not stable in Iraq and many are praying for divine intervention there.

Not that he does not have experience with this; but some douche nozzle is giving Jeff Goldstein the business…..again.
Here’s the douche-nozzle’s posting here
The real evidence of douche-nozzlery is this:
I pity him, really. But more so, I pity his university and his students. His hard-left hatred for all things “conservative” (which evidently extends to my classical liberalism) has this poor wretch up at nights trolling my blog under multiple names and multiple IP addresses, playing multiple parts in a blog drama of his own creation. It has him feverishly researching Colorado legal statutes, looking for ways to pretend he’ll bring me up on felony libel charges. It has him pretending to be his own girlfriend — or some concerned passerby — who happens (somehow) to know the history of William Yelverton, and his dealings with me over the course of several months (during which time, incidentally, his own blog got maybe 3 comments from people not responding to his douchebaggery on protein wisdom).
You see this stuff that I underlined and colored red? I know all about that, and this is why that I also keep my moderation on around here. Because quite frankly, I just do not need the hassle of some unhinged idiot doing stuff like this. It is just not worth the hassle. I set down the perimeters in which one can operate here; and if you go outside them, I simply delete your tripe. Just that simple, saves me a whole hell of a bunch of trouble.
So, if you spare a dime or two; hit Jeff’s tip jar, and if you feel really froggy, hit Jeff once too for me; right in the nuts. (I kid of course… 😛 ) Because the guy could use it; especially if he has defend himself from this far leftist jack wad.
I do not mean to beat this damned horse to death; but do you now see why I just will NOT vote for the party that represents these idiots anymore?
For what it is worth; I have experience with these jackwads myself. Some tampon wearing shrieking harpy by the name of Mary Scott O’Conner pulled the same shit with me. Except it was not court; it was one or two of my advertisers. All Because I dared to take my disgust of then Senator and President candidate, B. Hussein Obama to another whole level. This during the whole “Hosanna phase” of the 2008 election cycle. It was not pretty, I kind of now, wish I had not went there. However, I was a bit pissed off.
For those that wonder:
No, No… I do not hate the man at all. His writing tends to annoy me; this is why I do not read his blog often. The man is a novelist and as a consequence; he blogs like a damned novelist. The problem with Goldstein is that he takes 1200 god-damned words to write something that would take me 400 or less. My thing is, when writing, is get to the god-damned point. Don’t waste my fucking time writing overly prissy sounding nonsense, that nobody gives two shits about; state your damned case, get the point, and cut the overly stupid shit. Not only that, but he writes in that overly educated, Victorian style of writing; which is nice when reading a novel, but when you are trying to read about politics, it tends to get a bit old.
There, now you know my gripe with the Golden Boy Goldstein. Nothing big, just differences in style. His style is educated, affluent sounding stuff, that you would find at Harvard. I’m the type of writer that you would maybe find at the local barber shop, a car service garage, pool hall or even in your local bar. (Think Norm from Cheers..)
Having said all of that; head on over and toss a buck or two in his can and tell him that you are on his side. The guy could use it, I am sure.
That is all…

BILL MAHER, HOST: Isn’t Obama’s big problem is that he does everything half-assed? Maybe it’s because he’s only half black. You know? It’s that, if he was a, if this, if he was fully black, I’m telling you, he would be a better president. There’s a white man in him holding him back because everything is half-assed. The stimulus was half-assed, healthcare is half-assed, let’s talk about Afghanistan.
I brought this subject up to Al Sharpton on twitter:
So, there, Al Sharpton cannot say that he never was told about it; he was, by me. I do not expect anything to become of this; but I can at least say that he was informed via twitter by me. If Al Sharpton Replies, I will post the twitter reply here. One could also post this under the heading of, “Can you imagine the stink that would ensue, if a Conservative, like Ann Coulter, or Sean Hannity or anyone else on the right had said something like this?” You all know what would go down. Anyone remember Don Imus?
The point is here; that Bill Maher will get a free pass on this; because he is a part of the liberal elite. It sucks, but that is the double standard in this Country. For what it is worth; his excuse or justification is that he is a comedian. Well, I know comedy; and that crap just is not funny at all. I am sure Jon Steward would agree with that; being a minority himself, joking about something like this, is just not funny.
Not that it really matters; but I was just looking at Bill Maher’s bio on Wikipedia. I noticed his ethnic background; if he skates on this one — that will explain quite a bit. One cannot very well chap someone for kicking around a black man, if he is also a protected minority too, right? right? I’m just saying…

I don’t dare quote it; it’s just too much…. Go read it. Now.

A nice three in a row from the founder of …..Home Depot.
Quite bluntly — if you have lost this man and the people that frequents his stores; you are toast.

I can tell you right now; Obama is not getting elected in 2012; it is over for the “Hope and Change” era. Over quicker than it started.
Now, I await two things; one, I await for some identity politics ogre, to start carping about how this man is just some angry white racist bigot. Second, I await some liberal to say that this guy is just some angry rich white businessman. Well, let me be the first to tell you all something here. I happen to know a little about the crowd, who hangs around Hope Depot.
Contrary to what some might actually believe. The good majority of the people who buy products at Home Dept are the people; that are commonly known as the backbone of America in this globalist age —- Small Business owners; and the Obama Administration, with the sun-setting of the Bush tax cuts — is basically targeting that group of people. Granted, not all business owners make that kind of money. However there are those that do, and they usually have employees and when taxes increase on those people, sometimes, especially with the smaller businesses; employees have to be laid off, because the “overhead” is just too much of burden on those business people. This should be just common sense, but when you are dealing with socialist left, common sense tends to run in short supply. When you let someone go like that, that causes the said person to not be able to spend money to contribute to the economy; which hurts the service industry, and so on. Not to mention the fact that that person will have problems paying his bills. It is a vicious cycle and it gets worse as the cycle progresses.
You see, that is one thing that I have been trying to make clear here; and I guess I will just have to say it — most likely again. I am sure I have written here in the past. Anyhow, I do not write on this blog to defend the multi-billion dollar companies. They do not need my help; they have their P.R. companies and such. I write for the small business owner and the working man, who decides to go into business for himself; painting walls, building kitchens or whatever sort of trade that he desires to do; like driving a truck or whatever. Those people should be helped, not targeted for taxes and other such stupidity that the socialist left tries to cook up. Like it or not, my friends — but the small business owner and their businesses are the backbone of America. Yes, sure, General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler have their place, as do every other big business. However, it is the small business owner, the entrepreneur that embodies the true Spirit of America. That is who I defend and will continue to here on this blog.
The blog is, and will always be — the Blog of the working man. Not the rich man — but those who work for themselves.
A song in tribute to whom I write for:

Be Sure and watch the ENTIRE clip before you holler at me. Well, at least from where I started it, till it ends. Again, it’s not looking good for O’Donnell — at all. 🙁
The Story:
Here’s another wonderful gem from Christine O’Donnell’s past as a frequent guest on TV shows. Back in 1996, when then-Speaker Newt Gingrich’s finances were being investigated, O’Donnell complained that people were on a witch hunt to find anything to get Gingrich, instead of paying attention to serious ethics scandals — like putting Bill Clinton on trial for the supposed murder of Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster.Back in the 1990s, a favorite right-wing conspiracy theory was the accusation that the Clintons had arranged the murder of Foster, a former law partner of Hillary Clinton, in the midst of the Whitewater investigations. Multiple investigations, including the work of Clinton-hunting independent counsel Kenneth Starr, have all concluded that Foster committed suicide. However, O’Donnell was squarely in the conspiracy camp back then.
That is not the half of it. There is this here and here.
I hate to be the one to sound like a Eeyore. But the more I am hearing about this young lady; the more I am truly beginning to believe that she might just be a bit too extreme; and might just be damaged goods and may just not end up winning. I know that there those who are trying their damnedest to defend her, and man I give them props. But this just might end up being a lost damned cause.
I am not saying were should throw in the towel on her. But we should, just as Karl Rove and others have said; be real about this and not get too overly expectant of a landslide —- especially in Delaware. Like I wrote before, I am not saying she cannot do it. However, I do not think it would be unreasonable to be a bit realistic about this and expect the left to flush her out; which, as you can see, they are already doing.
It, it’s, just too bad man. I thought she might have been the golden girl. 🙁 Turns out, she is more of a ugly duckling. 🙄
UPDATE: Daniel Foster over at NRO’s “The Corner” Blog points out something rather important.
