Secession IS CLEARLY a right as the authors of the Constitution saw it. They wished a LIMITED Federal Government. The language is clear, The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Even the Gettysburg address promotes the concept of a limited Government “That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE, shall not perish from the earth.
Liberals forget the purpose of the Federal Government. Government is the SERVANT of a free people NOT the Master of it. Its not a club to advance an agenda but a tool to promote a reasonable peaceful life and society. Where does the Executive have the power to tell Banks they HAVE to take the money or face harassment by a federal agency? That a State, by accepting funds derived form its citizens, must comply with some Federal edict? I am convinced many of our legislators have no inkling of what the Constitution says. They clearly give it no thought when they write laws. Take back the power given to you by your maker. DON”T be a stooge for the most out of control administration and Congress in the history of our Nation! Up the rebels!
