You know the old saying about trying to teach a pig to sing? Wastes your time and annoys the pig. Basically, you’re wasting your time and annoying the other side by trying to make sense.
At the end of the day liberals think conservatives are evil and conservatives “know” that liberals are stupid. They just live in two different worlds. Best a libertarian on non-aligned individual can do is try not to get shot in the cross-fire.
