Question: What are you; politically speaking?
Updated Answer as of Thursday July 9, 2009: I am a Straight up Conservative, I do agree with some; but not all, of the ideas of the Republican Party. After much discussion and yes, arguing with libertarians, I have found that I just disagree with too much of their ideology to be counted among them. As for Neo-Con or Paleo-Con, I am finding that being associated with the Paleo-Conservatives gets one marked as a Anti-Semite, a racist; and a bit of a loon. I am none of these. So, I just prefer to be called a Conservative. It is a simple title and it works for me. 🙂

Question: What is your honest opinion of the Republican Party?
Updated Answer as of Thursday July 9, 2009: The Republican Party got away from it’s principles during this last administration. But I believe that can get back to what they truly believe in. I am willing to be a part of that.

hey adkins i had this hand-crafted rant prepared for you on FP but i figured i can’t totally blindside you. you occasionally take things too personally.
the gist of it was “i get tired of hearing bad cops news all the time but none of us have all that much credibility to tell good cop news BUT adkins”.
so i formulated a proposal to manifestly threaten you if you didn’t continue your job to tell good stories now and then. because that would be ironic for a freedom to movement to threaten someone for….well you get the idea. if i get poetic and use the words of war, you might focus on that and not see i’m trying to encourage you to tell good stories about law enforcement and stand for our brothers and sisters in uniform and provide BALANCE occasionally.
tell the story of those who honor the Oath. add this color to FP.
Heh…. Well, Oyate, when I come across those kind of stories. I will be sure and post them there. That’s a promise sir.
