Video: An Awesome Story

An Awesome Hero Story

A woman from Tennessee lost control of her van and crashed into a tree.

Neighbors rushed to help โ€” some broke windows, others grabbed garden hoses.

When Jerry Lepkowski saw the smoke and flames, he grabbed his video camera and ran toward the action. He had no idea he was about to record an amazing and heroic rescue.

Neighbors and drivers were the first people on the scene. Almost immediately, they pulled a little girl from the burning minivan, but that was just the beginning.

With the girlโ€™s mother and brother trapped inside, two men banged at the vanโ€™s window with metal pipes until it broke apart, freeing the mother.

Thatโ€™s when two off-duty firefighters showed up and โ€” with a child still inside โ€” they rushed into the burning car.

Despite the lack of protective clothes and the blistering heat, the men scrambled to free the child from a seatbelt.

As the fire grew, an off-duty Milwaukee Police lieutenant showed up with two fire extinguishers, and neighbors rushed in with garden hoses.

Another 20 seconds passed and, just as it looked like the car was going to burn up, one of the firefighters freed the 4-year-old boy.

He was badly burned, but alive, and was rushed away from the flames and sprayed down with cold water.

Neighbors said they were amazed everyone survived.

โ€œI would do it for my kids, so thatโ€™s why I stopped to get in there,โ€ Lepkowski said. โ€œIโ€™m still shaken, you know, but Iโ€™ll never forget it.โ€

Job well done all around. Kudo’s to the heroes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Light night at the PB Pub Presents… Merle Haggard

I post this song, as a statement to the sniveling idiots, who seem to think this Country is a terrible Country and that we torture people and so on… You know who you are and this is to serve you notice.

This is from 1970; during the height of the Vietnam conflict.

The President talks Baseball

Here’s the President talking baseball. A few observations:

  1. The President has a horrible memory; of which I can relate. As I have the same problem. Uh, What was I saying?ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜€
  2. He makes a cringe inducing crack about the CIA tapping into a sport network.ย ย  ๐Ÿ˜ฏ It was a joke, but I bet his staff went “Ugh!” when he made it. :hypnotized:

The Southern Avenger says “Just Say No” to Government

When South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford was attacked by Republican state leaders for not accepting federal stimulus dollars, it was worth pointing out the utter uselessness of GOP politicians who refuse to follow through on their conservative rhetoric.

The Southern Avenger Asks “Is Secession Crazy?”

When Texas Governor Rick Perry suggested his state had the right to secede from the union, liberals laughed at the mere suggestion. But secession not only has deep American roots, but is no “crazier” than socialism.

Video: Motorhome Diaries Interviews Ernest Hancock of Freedom’s Phoenix

Some of you might know this, but I submit some of my Blog postings over at a place called Freedom’s Phoenix. Freedom’s Phoenix is a Libertarian News Portal system, that I happen to enjoy, quite a bit.

Here is a video of the founder of Freedom’s Phoenix, Earnest Hancock being interviewed by Motorhome Diaries.

Video: Laura Ingraham and Gloria Feldt yell at one another about Miss California Carrie Prejean

I don’t watch this stuff, because I do not much care for Laura Ingraham; her screechy harpy nasally voice makes my stomach turn. However, she does deserve a few points, i think, for putting this idiot feminist liberal bitch in her place.

Personally, I think the castigation of Miss California Carrie Prejean by the liberal left is just wrong. But the demagoguery of position of both sides, is just maddening.

I won’t watch it, but it’s good for hits, I suppose.

The Afternoon Music Express with………….Whitecross

There is no question, I am a fan of classic Christian Rock.ย  Heck, I grew up on the stuff. One band that really stands out in my mind is WhiteCross. This tune here is from their first Album.

Every time I hear this tune. I am transported back to a much simpler time in my life.

This is originally from 1987; I could not find a video of the original song. Which sounded bad, because it was recorded with a drum machine.

Anyhow, This is WhiteCross with “Who will you follow?”
