Here’s what I have to deal with, pretty much on a daily basis around here:
It appears I hit a nerve with the liberals, again… It is my job, I wear a badge. đ

<i>And this is because, when you kick your husband out, youâve got to have Big Brother government to be your provider. . . .â</i>This insane statement is not a “fact.”
This is funny too: <i>you could not make <b>no better decision</b> to protect you and your Family’s future.</i>
P.S.: English, not German. We English-users don’t just randomly capitalize words (“Family”) because we think they’re important.
Typical Liberal nonsense, when you cannot argue facts, you stoop to insults.
As a said before:
….as are most, if not all, liberals.
This one comes via Eyeblast TV and is via HotAir’s Headlines:
Even the Liberal Media is saying that this guy is an idiot:
To be clear, I’m all for the kind of passion Weiner is showing here, but let’s direct it properly. Don’t get into a shouting match about procedure. As emotionally satisfying as it may be to watch, raging against the GOP opposition machine’s successful efforts to tie Dems in knots just makes Dems look whiny, weak and impotent.
Maybe that is because the Democrats ARE whiny, weak and impotent. Just look at who they elected in the White House! HA! đ
I know some of you are going to groan aloud when I write this, well, too bad. Because I believe this is an important point to make.
I happened to be roaming around the White House’s official Flickr Stream and I came across this photo; and it really hit me hard. I know, that I do not much blog about Christianity and Religious stuff much, except to criticize that crowd, but I would be an abject fool, if I did not stop and opine about this photo.
Because I am not a partisan hack or a person who is loyal to a party, I feel the need to say this.
The President of the United States, Barack Obama was elected by the majority of America. The fate of our Nation’s future rests on his shoulders. I believe that Christians everywhere, in spite of their political convictions should keep this man in his prayers. We should be asking God to guide this man, protect him from any crazy people out that might want to hurt him and to ask the Lord to guide him to make the right decisions that will affect the future of America. That is what we should be doing.
This is not to say that there not a place for Political criticism; but rather a reminder that his job, is the hardest in the World and that a little help from the One above is always nice to have.
Remember this today.
I will admit, I do not always agree with what I read at The American Conservative. However, I do believe in a diversity of thought and Ideas within the realm of Conservatism.
It appears that The American Conservative is having a Donation drive and is in need of financial support. Now, is The American Conservative a George W. Bush loving, flag waving Neo-Conservative publication? No, quite the opposite. In fact, check out this quote:

I agree with that, and if I could, I would be sending them the $20.000 they need to stay afloat. But, I am one of the people, suffering under the brutal leadership of the Democratic Party here in Detroit, Michigan. So, please, if you are able, donate to that fine publication, and help keep the voice of American Conservatism in print and on the internet.
Click here to Donate to the American Conservative.
Now, for the $100 question. Which am I? Neo or Paleo? Well, honestly, I am a bit of both. There are good and bad in both schools. Really, There are eleven different schools of Conservatism; they are:
I believe that all of these schools have good ideas and some bad. I believe that we as Conservatives should try and embrace all of the ideas within these different schools and try to work on a collation in the Conservative movement to run in opposition to the big Government ideas of the Democratic Party. The problem is, that people within Republican Party are more interested in party loyalty, than they are furthering the cause of Conservatism.
Having said all that, do what you can to help.
I got to hand it to Phyllis Schlafly she really knows how to make the Liberal left crazy. I love her for that.
The Money Quote:
âOne of the things Obamaâs been doing is deliberately trying to increase the percentage of our population that is dependent on government for their living. For example, do you know what was the second-biggest demographic group that voted for Obama? . . . Unmarried women. Seventy percent of unmarried women voted for Obama. And this is because, when you kick your husband out, youâve got to have Big Brother government to be your provider. . . .â
Now the facts, taken by poll by CNN:
Not to mention this:
Take a recent report entitled âAdvancing the Economic Security of Unmarried Womenâ by the Center for American Progress, the âprogressiveâ nonprofit run by Bill Clintonâs former chief of staff John Podesta. The report reviews the problems of a growing segment of our society: unmarried women. They are poorer, more likely than other women to be unemployed, have less access to health care, and often struggle to care for children without support from fathers.
Whatâs CAPâs solution? More government at every turn. Among the recommended proposals are more generous unemployment benefits, more job-training and job-placement programs, greater subsidies for child care, more generous child-nutrition programs, direct welfare payments for those with children, government intervention to prevent foreclosures, expanded low-income-housing programs, an increased minimum wage, government intervention to increase the pay of occupations dominated by women, mandatory paid family and sick leave, and, of course, government-provided health care. In other words, complete cradle-to-grave, taxpayer-provided government support.
Itâs tempting to call this paper sexist: Women â especially unmarried women â are portrayed as barely able to subsist without extra protection. One could also ruminate on CAPâs view of family formation, which seems willing to substitute a dependent relationship on the government for marriage. A woman without a man is encouraged to depend on Uncle Sam.
Once again, Phyllis Schlafly makes the liberal left crazy…. With the FACTS!
...and I just love her for that…..
Phyllis Schlafly is the real deal — a True Conservative Christian woman, who; unlike Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham, dresses, talks and acts like a true Conservative Christian woman.
The thing that I find some incredibly ironic, is that the fact that liberals think that Phyllis Schlafly is speaking extremism. But Mike Malloy wishing that Glenn Back and Rush Limbaugh would die, is perfectly fine. It’s funny how those liberals work, isn’t it?
By the way, I have an entire WING of Mrs. Schlafly’s books in my Bookstore.

Remember how the liberal left told everyone that the Afghan War was the good war and the Iran War was the evil war?
Well, they lied.
Wikileaks, which is owned by a flaming liberal. Basically exposed our soldiers in the afghan theater.
Hundreds of Afghan civilians who worked as informants for the U.S. military have been put at risk by WikiLeaksâ publication of more than 90,000 classified intelligence reports which name and in many cases locate the individuals, The Times newspaper reported Wednesday.
The article says, in spite of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assangeâs claim that sensitive information had been removed from the leaked documents, that reporters scanning the reports for just a couple hours found hundreds of Afghan names mentioned as aiding the U.S.-led war effort.
One specific example cited by the paper is a report on an interview conducted by military officers of a potential Taliban defector. The militant is named, along with his father and the village in which they live.
âThe leaks certainly have put in real risk and danger the lives and integrity of many Afghans,â a senior official at the Afghan foreign ministry told The Times on condition of anonymity. âThe U.S. is both morally and legally responsible for any harm that the leaks might cause to the individuals, particularly those who have been named. It will further limit the U.S./international access to the uncensored views of Afghans.â
If this does not piss you off; check your pulse.
Ed Morrissey says:
What will this mean for the war effort? The US will probably have to move all of the people named in the documents and their families, which means they wonât be able to continue in their current efforts. After this exposure, weâll have a lot of trouble finding anyone else who wants to work with us on the ground in Afghanistan, which makes our efforts there a hell of a lot more complicated, and will probably result in more dead Americans as well as Afghans.
You know, I have said some pretty “Over the top” stuff on this blog; and I have taken a bit of crap for it. Well, you know what? Screw it. I just do not care. When it comes to our troops in Iraq and the Afghan Theater, any and all crap that I get from the left for sticking up for them, is absolutely worth every minute of it. Having said all that; here is hoping the someone puts a nice bullet into the skull of this jerk off piece of crap. There’s no excuse for this sort of bullshit, this guy is just a morbid asshole, who seems to believe that he is on some sort of mission from God to stop the war. Well, if he’s that intent on stopping this war, then it is time for HIM to go see God. The quicker the damned better. We are in the Afghan theater; because a group of Religious throwbacks decided that they wanted a War with the United States. We gave them that war and now this communist piece of shit decides that the war should stop and is going out of his way harm our people. So, forget arresting him, forget hunting him down, save the justice system some money and put a bounty on his head and kill the god damned bastard.
There, I said it and if anyone wants to give me any shit; feel free. I’d like nothing more than for some liberal retard try an explain why they support terrorism to Adsense or anyone else that they want to try and get me pulled from.
Update: Other Great Bloggers covering this:
More Democratic Party overreach:
The Massachusetts Legislature has approved a new law intended to bypass the Electoral College system and ensure that the winner of the presidential election is determined by the national popular vote.
“What we are submitting is the idea that the president should be selected by the majority of people in the United States of America,” Senator James B. Eldridge, an Acton Democrat, said before the Senate voted to enact the bill.
Under the new bill, he said, “Every vote will be of the same weight across the country.”
But Senate minority leader Richard Tisei said the state was meddling with a system that was “tried and true” since the founding of the country.
“We’ve had a lot of bad ideas come through this chamber over the years, but this is going to be one of the worst ideas that has surfaced and actually garnered some support,” said Tisei, who is also the Republican candidate for lieutenant governor.

I would say that I am surprised about this; but this is same State that sent Al Frankin, of all people, to the United States Senate. So, this is no big shock. All I can say this; it’s classic Democratic Party overreach.
Update: Um, Oops! I guess I was wrong about that whole Al Frankin thing. D’oh! đłÂ As you can see, it does not pay to blog without large amounts of caffeine in my system. đ đ đ

As much as I hate to sound like a partisan on this subject; I feel the need to write this:
Al Qaeda’s second in command Ayman Al-Zawahiri has surfaced again, this time threatening more attacks against the U.S. and the West.
“Oh American peopleâŠWe offered you a peace plan, and mutual benefit; but your governments were proud and haughty, and so the attacks against you followed one after another, everywhere â from Indonesia to Times Square, by way of Madrid and London. And the attacks are ongoing, and more will come one after another,” said Zawahiri, according to a transcript provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute, based in Washington, DC.
Zawahiri also continued his promise of near victory in Iraq and Afghanistan, among other issues.
Former White House national security official Richard Clarke, now an ABC News consultant, said that up until this point, there haven’t been any correlations between Zawahiri’s past threats and any attacks actually occurring.
“U.S. government and counterterrorism officials are not going to increase their alert based on Zawahiri’s statement, because of his previous track record,” Clarke said. “But they’re on relatively high alert already because of the increase in homegrown terrorist threats related to al Qaeda.”
The 47-minute audio message, a eulogy for Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid, was posted on jihadist websites July 27 by al Qaeda’s media arm Al-Sahab.

Does it not strike anyone else as extremely ironic, that the United States of America, with all of it’s vast capabilities of spying, with all of it’s military might, with all of it’s ability to track down and hunt people who are operating outside of law; cannot tract down a couple of religious throwbacks that are intent on destroying America? Now, if I were some sort of partisan idiot; I would say something very stupid like, “Obama does not want these guys caught, because he is some sort of a undercover Muslim.” But I am not, so, no, I am not going to say this; because quite frankly, that sort of statement for one, is hateful and racist as hell, and two, is out of touch with reality.
What I will say this; this is a perfect example of that the fact that big Government just does not work. The Presidents, past and present, continue to throw money at our Military and intelligence services; but yet they cannot catch these idiots? Does anyone else, besides me, find this to be incredibility ironic? I mean, if someone like me, got behind on my taxes, the United States Government would have no trouble whatsoever tracking me down and find me. But these religious throwbacks cannot be found. I do not believe in conspiracy theories at all. But I believe this points to a systematic failure of our Government on the highest of levels; which reaffirms my personal belief that big Government is a bad idea and that it simply does not work.

You just did the same thing. Â You are speculating about what could be wrong with him and making wild accusations but offering no proof whatsoever. Â Don’t be such a hypocrite
If he is stark raving mad, then what are you when you use the same tactics?
First:

Second of all:
This is my damn blog and I will write about what I please; and if you really do not like it. You do not have to read here. There is not any law that says you have to.
Third of all:
I am calling Andrew Sullivan crazy, because that is what he is…. damned crazy. The man calls himself a so-called “Conservative” all the while trashing a woman who is a Conservative Christian. This was not just one posting, but a entire books worth of pure crap. The man is crazy, and anyone who is worth their salt in Conservatism knows it. He is not a Conservative; but rather a Liberal posing as a Conservative. Some say he is a British Conservative; But I think it’s more of a mental problem than anything else.
Also, Hypocrisy? Hypocrisy??!?!?!? How’s this for Hypocrisy? — All during the election, the media went over Sarah Palin, her kids, her family; everything… with a fine tooth comb. But no ONE person in the lame stream media would dare say a cross word about President Barack Obama’s snooty-nosed brat kids, at all. Hell, even Chelsea Clinton was giving rougher treatment by the media, than President Obama’s kids! That is what I call hypocrisy!
So, don’t come here and leave stupid comments about me being a damned hypocrite, because I will just delete them. You want to be a cheerleader for the mentally and yes, morally depraved pieces human excrement’s like Andrew Sullivan, fine. Start your own damned blog and do so. Because it is not going to happen here; period.
The Video:
Greg Hengler over at Townhall says:
Substitute these Christians with Mexican protesters and replace the anti-Christian opinions from the Sheriff’s Deputy with anti-Mexican ones. Would you not see this clip run for the umpteenth time on MSNBC and CNN today? I repeat the sentiments of our Commander in Chief: “The police acted stupidly.
The Story via KRQE-TV:
ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputy was caught on video erupting with personal comments while escorting a religious group away from a recent concert.
BCSO Deputy Jim Goff is a veteran of the department and years away from retirement.
The religious group was protesting outside a Rob Zombie concert on July 17th at the Pavilion. Deputies were called to escort them out. Goff was among them.
The religious group recorded the entire ordeal and put it on YouTube. It started with Goff asking the protestors to leave the property but the group was not taking the orders well.
âThis is private property, leave you can go or you can go to jail,â Goff said.
âItâs against my constitutional right, these people are free right here are fee to be out here? Why cant we,” said one protestor.
That’s when Goff got the crowd involved and asked what they wanted the group to do.
âYou guys, do you want them to stay or go,â Goff said.
The protestors eventually started to leave as they continued preaching to the crowd and the deputies. Goff responded.
âThere is only one way to heaven and that’s through Jesus Christ the Lord,â said a protestor.
âI am a non-believer, there is no God, there is no Jesus, there is no Satan,â Goff said.
Through all the shouting, arguing and antagonizing the other deputies kept their cool. Goff, however, had one more questionable comment.
âYou must have a crush on me, man are you like a gay homosexual, you keep filming me,â Goff said.
The attacks against Christians and on the first amendment in the United States of America continue under the Obama Administration. Further proof that we are truly in the last days. Remember that folks. Remember that also come 2010 and 2012 and vote accordingly.
But, of course:
Sheriff Manny Gonzales called the deputy’s comments very inappropriate.
âI watched the video and it’s an edited version. We’re going to make a request from our internal affairs unit to get a full, a full copy so we can make the right responses,â Gonzales said.
The video is on at least three different websites including YouTube, where more than 7,000 viewers have already seen it.
Gonzales said he will not comment on if Goff will be reprimanded until they conduct a complete investigation.
The sheriff also said he did not know about the concert confrontation until News 13 called and asked about it.
In other words, he will be back to work today and nothing will happen. đĄ

The man is just plain crazy. Now why do I say this? This is why:
Because the people that were on that thing called the Journalist, decided that they would show some morals and NOT touch the Palin Trig false rumor:
Ezra Klein:
Seriously, folks? Best case scenario, whatâs your outcome here: Her daughter, hounded by the tabloids, breaks down that it was her child, and her mother heroically took on the burden and welcomed the disabled boy as one of her own? Palinâs relationship with her children â however they may have come to her â strikes me as pretty far out of bounds. By all accounts sheâs a wonderful mother, and devoted to her fifth son. Leave this be.
Katha Pollitt:
I like what you said about this possibly being a dirty trick, intended to blow up in our faces. so letâs just leave it aloneâŠ
Unlike Andrew Sullivan; these liberals actually had some morals, once again our favorite Faux Conservative descends into madness:
Remember all those liberals and lefties huffily denouncing this blog’s attempts to make sense of Sarah Palin’s bizarre stories about the pregnancy and birth of her alleged fifth child? I was nuts, crazy, vile, disgusting, etc etc to indulge in what Dave Weigel, with no working knowledge of the story, calls “nonsense.” You may also recall that the liberal media didn’t touch this with a barge-pole – and still hasn’t (apart from a NYT puff-piece that I found utterly credulous at the time). Newsweek has even put its entire reputation behind the details of the story as outlined in Going Rogue, without doing any independent reporting on the subject.
Well, we now know, that, for some at least, I wasn’t crazy. I was just not disciplined enough to curtail what this blog airs in order to conform with what many Journo-listers believed were the interests of the Obama campaign. Any delusions that Journo-List was not, in part, a collusory venture to shape the media narrative in ways to benefit Obama, above and beyond ferreting out the truth about any and all candidates, must now be abandoned. Ezra Klein has already been caught in a bald-faced lie about his discretion in picking members; and the notion that this was simply a water-cooler collection of journalistic thoughts is also belied by the emails now published by the Daily Caller.
One should say this, however: I have no way of knowing what the DC has omitted, and how it has shaped this information. The thread stops rather abruptly. Maybe there is context that adds to what we know. I do not trust in any way the ethics of the Daily Caller. Nonetheless, I was obviously not alone in those August days, when I was pilloried for saying out loud what the entire chattering class was saying in private.
[..]
If you want to know why the allegedly liberal media didn’t touch – and still won’t touch –
this story, look no further. It has nothing to do with the facts, and everything to do with their politics. Notice the core modus operandi of the political operative, not the journalist. When dealing with a story: first ask yourself not if it is true but whether the outcome benefits your side. Second, write things in defense of this that you cannot possibly know. Palin a “wonderful mother”? How on earth did Klein know that?
[…]
This is your liberal media, ladies and gentlemen: totally partisan, interested in the truth only if it advances their agenda, and devoid of any balls whatsoever. And people wonder how this farce of a candidate now controls one major political party and could well be our next president. One reason is that we do not have a functioning adversarial media uncorrupted by partisan loyalty and tactics.
The man is totally insane. That is correct; I happen to believe that Andrew Sullivan is mentally unstable, should be considered a security risk and deported from the United States of American immediately back to Great Britain; where he can get the care he needs from the British nationalized heath-care system —– If that is even possible.
The reason why the Liberal media did not run with this story, is because there was not an ounce of truth to it. Because the is such a thing as journalistic standards. You simply do not report something that you cannot prove. You would think that Sullivan and his years of college education would have taught him that. However, I believe that this is a sign of something more deep. I believe it is sign that the man has an inbred hatred of Conservative Christians and more specifically women in general. I really wonder if the man was sexually abused as a child by a female family member of his or something. (His Mom?) Because this man’s unrelenting stalking and obsessing of Sarah Palin has been quite a disturbing things to watch, especially this long after the election.
Of course, we all know that Andrew Sullivan was already busted on drug charges for trying to buy pot, and should have been deported then. But because the man has connections, he was able to beat the deportation charge and is still in the Country. That, in itself, is a story there. However, because Sullivan is well-connected within the liberal media, they would not touch the story. I believe this would be a good time for the liberal media to do its job, when it comes to Andrew Sullivan. However, Because I know that Andrew Sullivan is among the liberal elite, he will, as always, avoid the scrutiny that was placed upon Sarah Palin and the John McCain campaign.
Such a twisted world we live in.

There’s this guy:
Director Oliver Stone belittled the Holocaust during a shocking interview with the Sunday Times today, claiming that America’s focus on the Jewish massacre was a product of the “Jewish domination of the media.”
The director also defended Hitler and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and railed against the “powerful lobby” of Jews in America.
Stone said that his upcoming Showtime documentary series “Secret History of America,” seeks to put Hitler and Communist dictator Joseph Stalin “in context.”
“Hitler was a Frankenstein but there was also a Dr Frankenstein. German industrialists, the Americans and the British. He had a lot of support,” Stone told reporter Camilla Long during the interview, which can be found behind the paywall on the Sunday Times’ website.
Hitler in context. I just….wow. I have no words on this one. I really don’t. I’m just gobsmacked. I was not aware that Pat Buchanan was hard up for help. đŻ

Young people are beginning to realize that the “Magic Negro” was never really magical at all.
Via the New York Post:
Young voters who had been enthralled by Barack Obama’s “Yes, we can” message are now saying “Maybe not” — and are backing away from the president in a worrisome new poll for the White House.
Obama is losing in a match-up against a generic Republican challenger by 37 percent to 34 percent among voters in the 18-34 age group, according to a stunning Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday.
In March, voters in this group approved of Obama by 54 percent to 37 percent.
“The youngest age group may be the most impatient and the most easily disillusioned among all age groups,” said Molly Andolina, a youth-vote expert and DePaul University political-science professor.
For many young voters in 2008, “it was the first time they’d been really been involved, really paying attention. This is someone telling them, ‘Yes, you can,’ ” she said.
Two years later, with a prolonged Gulf oil spill, “watching how slow it is to respond may be a little disillusioning,” she added.
I could use this space to be snarky or whatever. But, I really will just speak the truth. This is what happens when the person that you are trying to elect is oversold. It is a classic case of Democratic Party overreach. Have the Republicans ever done this? Absolutely; They did it with Reagan to a point, but it was nowhere near the scale and size of what the Democratic Party did with Barack Obama. Not only that, but the Reagan campaign and Presidency did not engage in the Chicago-style of political thuggery that the Obama campaign was notorious for.
There is also a more broader and finer point to be made as well. That point is that as a political candidate, you get one chance to capture the hearts and minds of the American people. Just one chance! If you are able to do it and you louse it up; you are, as they say, screwed. Barack Obama rode in on the promise of “Hope and Change”, and it turned out that he is just another Chicago thug politician. Further more, it became very clear to the most devoted of Obama supporters that now President Obama was just not much of a political leader, but rather a thinker. This became very apparent when the oil spill happened. In fact, Obama still has this attitude of being above it all, even after it has happened.
So, this poll should not be a shock to anyone. Least of all to us who knew what the man was really all about.
Please Note: I don’t entirely agree with all of this. But I give Zo props for saying it.
As those of you who read this blog on a daily basis know, in a fit of anger the other day, I decided to tell the World that I was no longer a âRight of Center.â
I tend to say many things when I am ticked off.
Listen folks, I am an American. I am also someone who believes that America is a great place and that we have it good here and last thing we need is a bunch of idiots from California, New York, and other such liberal bastions lousing it up for us. They have already done this to a point, however, I believe that we can still reverse course and make things right, if we get the right leadership in the White House and in Congress.
Another point that I would like to make is this; Centrists, for all their good points also have issues as well. They tend to be accepting to far left socialism. I just cannot find that acceptable, socialism and Democratic policy has been the ruin of many a good State; Michigan included. I ought to know this, as I live only about 15 miles from Downtown Detroit. Detroit, before the rise of black liberalism in the Detroit area, was an industrial Mecca, people came for all around the Country, just to get a good job in the auto plants. What happened? Well, if I were a partisan hack, I would simply blame the unions. They are easy, but there is much more to it than this.  The international auto industry changed; and the big three here did not and as a result; the hiring days ended.
Now my statement about black liberalism is not a racist one, but rather a political one — simply put, black liberals just were not able to run this city like their white predecessors. Why was this?  Because of the identity politics of the city, this goes back to the first black mayor of Detroit.  The election of the first black Mayor of Detroit was widely seen as a defeat of the white Democratic power structure in Detroit. Another reason was the corruption in the City of Detroit. Mayor Coleman Young was the most corrupt Mayor ever. The reason why he was never caught is that he was just that good. Another reason is that it is believed that Mayor Young was bribing investigators as well. Nothing says leave me alone better than a case full of money. It does tend to work.
As I have said on this blog many times. I will always tell you what I think; not what some partisan talking point says. I will tell you what I, personally, think about politics and policy. If I feel something is wrong, I will tell you about it. If I like something, I will tell you that as well — Having said that, I personally believe that Andrew BreitBart is a vile, disgusting excuse for a human being. Andrew Breitbart knowingly released a video that portrayed a woman in a dishonest manner. That, together with the things that this disgusting excuse for a Jew said about Ted Kennedy the DAY he died, just proved to me what sort of a vile, disgusting, piece of human excrement that this man really is.  Now, if anyone wants to play the Semite card because I brought up the fact that Breitbart is a Jew, feel free, I would give two flips about that, I would have said that about him if he were White, Black, or Latino. The issue here is not Breitbartâs Semite status, it is his morals; and quite bluntly, they suck.
Now as for my politics, I still consider myself a Classic Liberal, a libertarian-minded individual, a right of center, a Goldwater type; someone who believes in the individual rather than the collective. I am someone that believes that a person has the right to succeed and a right to fail. I have not changed; I was simply angered by what I saw as an opportunist smearing someone to make a cheap political point.  There should be no place for that sort of nonsense in the discourse of politics; however, in this age of unfiltered new media it does happen. The question is, will we as Bloggers, and Americans continue to give a platform to the vile disgusting likes of this morally depraved fool?  That is the question that all of us in this thing we call the Blogosphere should be asking ourselves this day — and not whether this woman is a socialist; of course she is, that really is not the point. The point was, she was smeared as a racist and is not; THAT is the point my dear friends. Until we can get to that place of realizing that, the Blogosphere of the right, will be seen as nothing more than a childâs playground and propaganda mill; and that my friends is the sad thing about this, it has destroyed us as a whole.
The real sick and sadistic part of this whole mess is this. A little while back, the controversial Louis Farrakhan said that Jews have caused damage to blacks for years.  At the time, I thought that to be an outrageous statement, not to mention Anti-Semitic; now it seems that the people like Andrew Breitbart and many others on the right are trying their damnedest to prove Farrakhan right. I think we as a whole, on the right, need to work on that little image very quick. Because frankly at this point, we are giving people like Farrakhan and the many people on the left, that think like him; black, White, Latino, and whatever else, the talking point they need to further that âgospelâ of hatred.
That is my opinion and I welcome yours.
Finally, something worthy of a blog post!
This has to be the MOST tone deaf things that I have read since the election of Barack Obama…:
The debate in Ann Arbor, where firefighters are being laid off due to a multimillion dollar budget deficit, is over an $850,000 piece of art.
That’s how much the city has agreed to pay German artist Herbert Dreiseitl for a three-piece water sculpture that would go in front of the new police and courts building right by the City Hall.
The city has the money to do it because in 2007, it agreed to set aside for public art 1 percent of money that went into capital improvement projects that were $100,000 or larger. Most capital projects involve streets, sewers and water.
Ann Arbor City Council member Stephen Kunselman, a Democrat, opposed the art deal.
“I think it is incredibly insensitive,” Kunselman said. “It is insensitive to the staff and their morale. It is insensitive to the community. There are people out there struggling financially, and here we are spending a large amount of money on a piece of art.”
Kunselman said the city is also eliminating the solid waste coordinator from the budget, which oversees trash pickup, and hiring an art coordinator.
City Administrator Roger Fraser wrote in an e-mail that the solid waste coordinator position was eliminated as a cost-cutting measure because the solid waste millage had decreased. Fraser wrote that the art coordinator position would be paid for by the public art fund.
Fraser noted that the public art dollars did not come from the city’s general fund, which is used to pay salaries and benefits, and that less than $6,000 of the art money came from the general fund.
The art projects also must have a “thematic connection” to the source of funding, Fraser wrote. The $850,000 art project is water-themed, because the money came from storm water funds.
But some critics say that a city creative enough to fund art from storm water projects should be able to find money to cover essential city services.
“That’s the classic argument,” said Glenn Thompson, an Ann Arbor resident and longtime critic of city spending. “But the city has become very, very good at shuffling money in and out of the general fund when they want. These people are very good at putting it in and out of the general fund when they wish.”
Michael LaFaive, the director of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy’s Morey Fiscal Policy Initiative said nonessential services are being funded throughout the state.
“Administrators cry poverty while lavishing money on the beautiful people,” LaFaive said. “The threat to dismiss firefighters often comes while officials protect golf courses, wave pools and art. No city can cry poverty while it defends recreation and aesthetics such as art.”
LaFaive said administrators get creative with budgets to fund pet projects.
I would say that I am shocked about this; but hey, it is Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor, for those who are not from these parts; is a bastion of Liberalism. Basically, it is San Francisco in Michigan. Yeah, it is that liberal. đ
True Story: When I actually worked for a living; back in the mid 90’s, I made a delivery to that city, I mean, right downtown; you talk about feeling like driving into an alternative universe. đŻ There were people…..everywhere. I was near, as in like a block away, from the local university there. It was quite the interesting experience. I remember getting my package signed for, and scrambling to find the entrance to the freeway and getting the heck out of dodge! I went back to the shop and said in my most pitiful, mournful, voice, “PLEASE, DON’T SEND ME TO ANN ARBOR ANYMORE!” I thought the secretary at the office was going to fall out of her chair laughing at me. đ
A man can only handle so many weird looking people in one place! đ

This story has yet to be fully exposed. Â Please let me know if there is any other information you may need for a blog post!
In a memo recently cited by E&E news, communications firm Clean Energy Work (which can be found at www.scribd.com/doc/34382420/Clean-Energy-Works-Memo) outlines the possible method of using the New York Times as a centerpiece of a âtactical campaignâ to reframe proposed tax increases on American consumers as âThe Big Oil Welfare Taxâ.
This is a left wing campaign strategy to use the New York Times as a tool to push a liberal agenda that would increase taxes on energy companies and consumers.
An actual article in the New York Times (“As Oil Industry Fights a Tax, It Reaps Billions From Subsidies”) seems to be one example of this strategy in action.  The article is riddled with inaccuracies and misrepresentations that are easily spotted by anyone with a basic understanding or background in tax policy.
Andrew Langer at the Institute for Liberty has responded to this misinformation in a point by point post at http://www.instituteforliberty.org/index.php?src=blog&category=Blog&submenu=media (original NYT article and CEW memo are also at this page)
Something worth looking at.
Responding to the collapse in home prices and the huge number of foreclosures, the Obama administration is pursuing an overhaul of government policy that could diverge from the emphasis on homeownership embraced by former administrations.
âIn previous eras, we havenât seen people question whether homeownership was the right decision. It was just assumed thatâs where you want to go,â said Raphael Bostic, a senior official in the Department of Housing and Urban Development. âYouâre not going to hear us say that.â
Bostic, who has published leading scholarship on homeownership, added that owning a home has a lot of value, but âwhat weâve seen in the last four years is that there really is an underside to homeownership.â
The administrationâs narrower view of who should own a home and what the government should to do to support them could have major implications for the economy as well as borrowers. Broadly, the administration may wind down some government backing for home loans, but increase the focus on affordable rentals.
The shift in approach could mean higher down payments and interest rates on loans, more barriers to lower-income people buying houses, and fewer homeowners overall, government officials said. But it could also pave the way for a more stable housing market, one with fewer taxpayer dollars on the line and less of a risk that homeowners will not be able to pay their mortgages. And it could spell changes throughout the financial markets, as investors choose new places to put their money if the government withdraws some incentives for investing in the U.S. mortgage market.
I don’t buy it. But, it could happen.
Ed Morrissey, who is one of the more honest right-wing bloggers out there, says:
Will the White House go through with it? Itâs one thing to leak this to the Post. Itâs another thing entirely to follow through with the necessary rulemaking and legislative effort needed to succeed in it. The Post notes that La Raza, one of the groups that gains material benefit from participating in government programs for these home-ownership efforts, is already unhappy with the idea. At a time when Obamaâs approval ratings are sinking towards Bush levels, this could alienate his ideological base and leave him utterly abandoned in 2012.
Letâs hope Obama commits to this reform. If he does, it will easily be the most significant economic reform of his tenure, and would represent a significant retreat from the government interventions and social engineering that have ruined the American economy, and could set the stage for even further constraints on federal power. That would show actual leadership and strength.
Pardon me if I sound about as jaded as an atheist on Easter Sunday; but it would make no sense for President Obama to do this. As it was the Democrats that created this whole mess in the first place. Social engineering is what they do; so, I will not break out the pom poms just yet. I will believe it, when the speculation of the real estate market ends. I will believe when they stop trading mortgages on the stock market. I will believe it when the sub-prime mortgages are gone. I will believe it, when Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac are gone for good.
Until then, I remain unconvinced.
Why was this man killed?
Who did it and Why?
Those are questions that I would like to know….
From KnoxNews.com:
MADISONVILLE, Tenn. â Investigators are tight lipped, rumors are flying and a community is in shock by the discovery Saturday of a body that is widely believed to be Monroe County Election Commission Chairman Jim Miller, stuffed in the trunk of a burning car.
Late Monday afternoon, it was announced that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation had become the lead agency of the four agencies investigating the case.
âIt is Jimâs car, and Jim is missing,â said his longtime attorney and personal friend, John Cleveland, who is the city attorney for Sweetwater, Tenn. âBut everybody would be pleased ⊠to find out that we are wrong (and it is not him).â
Cleveland issued a statement Monday on behalf of Millerâs family that clearly indicates they believe he is the victim. Miller was last seen at the countyâs Election Commission office around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. He was working that day because of early voting, said County Election Administrator James R. Brown.
âHeâd made a call to his wife and was going home, but he never made it home,â Brown said. âThis has got people talking in the county. Itâs got people wondering.
Now why would I even remotely care about this? This is why:
Miller, 60, was a lifelong Sweetwater resident and very active in community affairs and the Republican Party, say people who knew him.
[…]
Besides his Election Commission post, Miller was 1st District chairman of the countyâs Republican Party. He was president of Jim Miller Excavating Co.
Could it be that this man discovered some election fraud in Tennessee or knew about some; and maybe was planning to go public with it, and the Democrats in Tennessee ordered him killed? Is it wrong to ask such questions? After all, President Obama did say, “Get in their faces!” I mean, we already know about the Republican who got shoved and punched by a union goon at a nurses union rally; who is to say that the Democratic National Committee or the Democratic Party in Tennessee did not order this man killed? Something stinks and I think some sort of new media investigation is needed.I would head down there myself; but I do not have the funds to check it out, and I really do not have any reliable transportation.
Let me say this; if this was a hit on a Republican election official, and anyone outside of the State level was involved with this, it could have horrible ramifications for the Democratic Party in the 2010 and 2012 elections. Let me also say this; I normally as a rule do not engage in this sort of speculation, but this one reeks of a plot to murder the political opposition. I just hope that I am wrong and this was an random act of violence towards an old man. However, it does warrant media investigation. However, we all know that the Liberal media will not get involved in this; because it does not fit their narrative.
Update: So far. Not one blogger has replied to my e-mail or even linked. Needless to say, I am not happy with the Conservative Blogosphere right now. đĄ
Update #2: From the comments section:
This, most likely, is a family related murder not political. BtW, no identification has been made yet. This guy and his brothers have been in a 10 plus year war over a dairy farm with numerous appeals. miller v miller Appeals Court Ruling PDF I am from this area and people down here donât get killed for politics. They get killed over probate and death gifts of estates.
This area is so republican that most people wonât even admit to being a Reagan democrat.
Either way, it is sad.
Update #3: From the comments:
I wanted to update this story. In a surprising turn of events, the Sheriff Deputy who drove by and saw the car burning has been suspended with pay and declared a suspect in the arson and murder. Captain Kenny Hope of the Monroe County Sheriff Department even admitted that he was the only suspect and was questioned by the TBI (Tennessee version of the FBI.)
Captain Kenny Hope was hired in 2006, after Democrat Bill Blevins was elected as the first democratic sheriff and first democratic county-wide office holder in decades. His win was based not because of a political platform but perceived abuse and alleged illegal actions by the proceeding sheriff and disgraced Rep. General Session Judge Edwin Harris (Resigned over drug crimes) and Rep. Judge Hagler (Resigned after tapes were discovered containing sexual fantasies and who was suspected of killing a priest in Chattanooga in a weird sex case.)
Earlier in 2010 Captain Hope and the Mr. Miller was in a conflict during a traffic stop and arrest. The case is so convulsed that the DA and Judge recused themselves and the case was transferred out of County.
Sure enough, here are the links to the story here. Looks like there might just be some corruption on the local level after all.
This is a unbelievable Video:
Andrew Breitbart, as always, has the scoop on this terrible video:
In fact, itâs worse. The media that provided the left a platform to accuse the Tea Party, all the while refusing to air any exculpatory evidence. Again, the mainstream media inserts itself as the number one weapon in the progressive weapons stash. Political correctness, as the Duke Lacrosse case exemplified, trumps all in PC America and her afflicted media.
But the new media will not be silenced. It will not allow for the main stream media to propagate hateful and hurtful lies in order to save the Democratic Party from the toxic choices it has made over the past few years. And by bringing up race, and demanding a zero tolerance of racism, the left, and the NAACP in particular, has opened itself up for scrutiny.
We are in possession of a video from in which Shirley Sherrod, USDA Georgia Director of Rural Development, speaks at the NAACP Freedom Fund dinner in Georgia. In her meandering speech to what appears to be an all-black audience, this federally appointed executive bureaucrat lays out in stark detail, that her federal duties are managed through the prism of race and class distinctions.
In the first video, Sherrod describes how she racially discriminates against a white farmer. She describes how she is torn over how much she will choose to help him. And, she admits that she doesnât do everything she can for him, because he is white. Eventually, her basic humanity informs that this white man is poor and needs help. But she decides that he should get help from âone of his own kindâ. She refers him to a white lawyer.
Sherrodâs racist tale is received by the NAACP audience with nodding approval and murmurs of recognition and agreement. Hardly the behavior of the group now holding itself up as the supreme judge of another groupsâ racial tolerance.
via » Video Proof: The NAACP Awards Racismâ2010 – Big Government.
Unbelievable…… This woman uses the fact that white people mistreated blacks many, many, many years ago, as an excuse to discriminate against a white man in the twenty-first century. As I told you all before, Black Racism is not a myth, it does exist and it is justified by the liberal media in America. Now, some of you might say, “Well, this has existed for many years.” Sure, it has; but it was mainly confined to the local level, like say in Detroit and many metropolitan cities. This is on the national level and it should not be tolerated at all. Shirley Sherrod should be terminated from her job immediately. She has demonstrated in this video, that she is totally incapable of being fair and just in her ability to help ALL people; and not just those of color.
This, I am afraid, is what people like Senator Barry Goldwater feared, when he refused to sign the Civil Rights act of 1964. Not only that, but you also notice too, that no Liberals have spoken out against this? That is because the Democratic Party; which is basically now controlled by the Obama Administration supports and now sanctions this sort of activity.
Remember this sort of nonsense come the 2010 and 2012 elections and vote accordingly. Racism is wrong; no matter if it is White against Black or Black against White — It is still wrong and should not be allowed, much less tolerated in a public office or from a public official.

Update: Looks like there is more to this story!
You mean they are just now figuring this out?:
The top-secret world the government created in response to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.
These are some of the findings of a two-year investigation by The Washington Post that discovered what amounts to an alternative geography of the United States, a Top Secret America hidden from public view and lacking in thorough oversight. After nine years of unprecedented spending and growth, the result is that the system put in place to keep the United States safe is so massive that its effectiveness is impossible to determine.
The investigation’s other findings include:
* Some 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies work on programs related to counterterrorism, homeland security and intelligence in about 10,000 locations across the United States.
* An estimated 854,000 people, nearly 1.5 times as many people as live in Washington, D.C., hold top-secret security clearances.
* In Washington and the surrounding area, 33 building complexes for top-secret intelligence work are under construction or have been built since September 2001. Together they occupy the equivalent of almost three Pentagons or 22 U.S. Capitol buildings – about 17 million square feet of space.
* Many security and intelligence agencies do the same work, creating redundancy and waste. For example, 51 federal organizations and military commands, operating in 15 U.S. cities, track the flow of money to and from terrorist networks.
* Analysts who make sense of documents and conversations obtained by foreign and domestic spying share their judgment by publishing 50,000 intelligence reports each year – a volume so large that many are routinely ignored.
These are not academic issues; lack of focus, not lack of resources, was at the heart of the Fort Hood shooting that left 13 dead, as well as the Christmas Day bomb attempt thwarted not by the thousands of analysts employed to find lone terrorists but by an alert airline passenger who saw smoke coming from his seatmate.
They are also issues that greatly concern some of the people in charge of the nation’s security.
“There has been so much growth since 9/11 that getting your arms around that – not just for the DNI [Director of National Intelligence], but for any individual, for the director of the CIA, for the secretary of defense – is a challenge,” Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said in an interview with The Post last week.

What gets me is this; these guys are just now bringing this story out. How come they did not do it sooner? You want to know why? It is because WaPo is suffering; their publication numbers are down, because they have been being the Democratic Party’s publication arm and now they are suffering. So, they figure they would take on big Government. Nice. But is not ironic that the same people that basically did the “Hosanna” song for President Barack Obama, a big Government Advocate; and now they are suddenly worried about the aspect of a “big, scary, secret Government?” The irony is not lost on this Blogger.
