Another reason why we are losing the Healthcare Battle

As I said yesterday, I have basically washed my hands of the Healthcare debate. We lost the battle. I cited an example.

This is why we are losing folks; we are turning into the evil alternative to socialism. We are also being seen by those who are not politically inclined, as the heartless ones. I will not be a part of that, at all.  This is not sarcasm or a joke, I am very serious. 😡

I am not a fan of Government-run healthcare at all; but I will not engage in the sort of nonsense that some of the Bloggers on the right are partaking in. I was just raised better than that.

Like I said before, we lost the battle; because of our own damned stupidity.

Finally: Rielle Hunter speaks

I know, I could write this as a snark filled smarty pants sounding blog posting. But, I do try to be better than that.

It seems that Rielle Hunter has decided to speak. There are some interesting bits to this interview; I highly suggest that you do go read it.

Some excerpts:

Let’s start at the beginning. February 2006. How did you meet him?

I met him on a street corner. [laughs] A lot has been written that I met him inside the

Really?


I did not. The John Edwards I saw in 2004 on TV I believed to be a disconnected, two-dimensional-geek kind of guy. And the man sitting across the room was not that at all.

Then what happened?


He got up and left, and Josh Brumberger [one of his aides] left with him. But the other person they were with—a donor, a lawyer named Tony—stayed. And when they left, my friend went over and asked Tony if that was John Edwards, and he said yes. And my friend turned to me and said, “See, I told you it was John Edwards.” And then I came over to the table, and I said, “I can’t believe that was John Edwards; he’s so hot. He’s really got it going on. He’s got something unusual about him, and I never would have recognized him.” And Tony said, “Oh, my God, you should have come over and told him that. He would have loved to have heard that.” Anyway, my friend and I stayed there, and we had another friend come join us. And then Josh came back. And when I went to the restroom, I stopped at Josh’s table and gave him a card and got Josh’s card. I did that because my friend really wanted to work for John Edwards. So I gave Josh a card. And my card, by the way, never said truth seeker on it.

What did your card say?

And that was because—


It was the Web site that I had. Which is a whole other topic. Anyway, when my other friend came—she was about to get married, so it was all about that. There was no more talk of John Edwards.

The fact the she is even speaking out, is pretty brave in my opinion and the stuff she goes on to say in the interview about Elisabeth about confirms what I and many others have suspected about the woman. Although, I will be honest with you. Rielle Hunter does tend to seem to be “In the tank” for Edwards, she sees him as a victim in all of this, which is, in this writers opinion; laughable.

All in all though, if you can get past the stupid liberal bullshit of, “Oh I was spiritually attracted to him!” which sounds like some idiotic giggling schoolgirl nonsense; it is not actually a half bad read.

Yeah. So I said, “I can help you.” And he said, “I want your help. I need your help.” And he told me how to contact him [at the Regency]. He said, “Please call me.” I said, “How long are you staying?” He said, “Until tomorrow morning. Please, call me. Call me.”

What did you mean by “I can help you?”
That I could help him see who he is instead of what he’s not. The person standing in front of me was not the person they were selling, or his public persona. He was completely opposite from his public persona.

So it’s not like you were thinking, I can help you by videotaping the campaign?

That I could help him become more integrated so that people could see that he had it going on.

And you knew that in the first few seconds?
Upon sight. So I called him about a half hour later. And I got a voice mail in the room, so I hung up. Did not leave a message. Because I did not know what was appropriate. I knew he was married, and I didn’t know if his wife was with him, you know; I didn’t know what was appropriate. And this was not—there was no sexual intention here at all.

Really? C’mon.
None. I really just thought I could help him. So I hung up. And about ten minutes later, my cell phone rang. And I looked down, and I said to my friends, “What is this number?” One of my friends said, “That’s the Regency.” And I said, “He’s calling me back? I didn’t even leave a message. How is he calling me back?” And he, you know, star-69’ed or whatever the caller ID was. And he left me this message, “Hi. Call me. I really want to hear what you have to say.”

So I called him back. And he said that he really wanted to hear what I had to say. Would I mind, um, meeting him in his room? And I said, “No, I wouldn’t mind at all.” And the reason I wouldn’t is because he’s a celebrity. I have a lot of celebrity friends, and I know their rules are different. Also, it felt completely familiar, like I’d known him all my life. Anyway, so I said, “Let me eat my Caesar salad, and I’ll see you in fifteen minutes.” And I said to my friends, “I’m going over there.” And it was funny, because they were like, “You cannot sleep with him! You cannot sleep with him, because you can help him!” And I said, “I am not going to sleep with him.” I gave them my word: “I won’t sleep with him.” [laughs] And so I went over to his room, and I walked in, and I. Was. Terrified.

Why terrified?
Because I had never experienced anything like what was flowing between us. I sat on the other side of the room. I wouldn’t go near him. And he kept saying [she mimics his southern drawl], “What are you doin’ over there? Come over here. I can’t even see you. Come closer. I won’t bite you.” I was just—there was sooo much attraction and sooo much… I want to say love, but it wasn’t love at that point. You know, it was just this, this magnetic force field like I had never experienced. It terrified me. Absolutely terrified me. And, um, I eventually walked over to his side of the room. [laughs] He was pretty relentless. And that’s all I’m gonna say on that! Now fade to black!

Oh, don’t fade to black now.
I used to make a joke that I could have helped save the world, but I had to sleep with him. You know? It was kind of like that.

So there you have it. The crux of what this woman is about. Fell in love with him, had his kid and now is the “Third Woman.” It is good work, if you can get it. I bet Edwards is thinking, “If only she had swallowed…” 😯

I must confess, I’d hit it; hell yes, But I would wear about 5 condoms, and she would be on the pill.

Also, there is a great deal of talk about “Poor Elisabeth” and such. I must confess, I have zero sympathy for her at all. Because it is quite obvious that Elisabeth was not keeping her man happy. That relationship had broken down, somewhere along the line, and John was looking for some tail, because he was not getting it from his wife. That is quite clear. So, While I do pity her, that she is dying at all. But this whole thing could have and would have been avoided, if Elisabeth had been treating John right. Just that simple. I make zero apologies for feeling that way.

It is a fact of human nature, if a woman is getting her due share of sex from her husband, she will see it elsewhere. Same goes for women, they will do the same thing; and please, do not try and hand me that crap about Christians not doing much things, or Conservatives either. Because I happen to know, that is a bunch of bull as well. In fact, the man who was my youth Pastor back in the 1980’s, when I was growing up in Southwest Detroit; did the same thing. She was not getting it from her husband and she sought out another man. Ended up marrying him too. So, that line is out with me. As far as Conservatives go, Newt Gingrich is perfect example.

I mean, even HotAir covered this and dismissed it. Did they bother to mention that? Nope. Which is why I never bothered blogging about it. Most usually, if a story doesn’t pass AllahPundit’s or Ed’s smell test, I usually refrain.

I seem to remember that on March 4, 2010, word came that a liberal satirist blogger, Al Weisel AKA as Jon Swift passed away. I, thinking that no one on my side of political aisle cared, wrote a rather harsh piece.  Well, it turned out that many Bloggers on the Conservative side of the aisle liked the guy and went out of their way to remember the guy. I even dedicated a music video to the damned guy.  Much class was shown that day, and I had hoped that my actions would be the start of the beginning of civility in this Blogosphere. Maybe that was too lofty of a goal.

The point I am trying to make is this; why the hell does someone have to die in the blogosphere or anywhere else for that matter; for anyone to even remotely try and show any respect to that person?

I say all this, because I have flogged time and time again for some of the stuff that I have said on here. I have even lost advertisers because of something I did once on this blog. But, yet, this guy gets a free pass? Unbelievable. 🙄

Remember folks, THIS is your Democratic Party of today. Do you really want to vote for people that promote this sort of vile filth? Think about it.

It’s official, Eric Massa is a freaking fruit loop

As I said before, I am really not too keen on writing about stuff like this….But, it’s news.. So, here we go:

A couple years ago, I got a tip about Eric Massa. It involved his aggrieved former campaign manager, Sanford Dickert, who was involved in an ugly dispute. Dickert claimed Massa had fired him and refused to pay him for work he’d done on Massa’s unsuccessful 2006 run for Congress. Massa, he said, had retaliated by issuing a series of salacious charges against him, which Dickert denied, including that he had hired, and then given alcohol to, underage staffers, and also that he had made a pass at Massa’s teenage son. This seemed like a personal dispute that didn;t have much news value and was, furthermore, impossible for me to adjudicate. I didn’t write about it. Dickert wound up filing a libel suit against Massa, and in the court documents, which you can read here, the strange and bizarre charges are all laid out.

Political incorrectness, is not against the law. We still do have a first amendment. You liberals haven’t taken that….yet.

As I wrote last night on here, I did watch the Oscars.  I happened to enjoy the show myself.  Maybe it is because the show holds such a historical role in America life.  I am a history buff, after all.  After the show, I did come back to the laptop, fired up the browser, and checked my vast amount of RSS feeds that I do monitor via iGoogle.  The first RSS feed that I happened to have there, was Charles Foster Johnson’s Blog, which is named little green footballs.  I should point out, that the only reason it was “first”, meaning the first one on the top left, is because it was last one I had added, in like a long while —- not because I really liked the man or anything silly.

Having said all of the above, I happen to come across this article by Robert Stacy McCain this morning and I figured that it would be a good set up for relaying a bit of news. It appears that Charles Foster Johnson has finally pointed his collectivist McCarthyism Blogger guns at me.  Last night, when I attempted to open Mr. Johnson’s Blog, I saw the following:

The reason this whole amuses me so much, is the fact that I actually defended the man’s right to ban trolls from his blog. Oh, Yes, I know, I did criticize him for some of his more idiotic actions, like lying about Pamela Geller, and other such nonsense.  The way I see it, if you cannot handle criticism, you have no business being in this blogosphere at all.  In fact, Charles Johnson’s Blog was in my “Left Voices” Column Bloggroll for a good long while, which I did explain here. I even on one occasion did mention in a blog posting, that I thought e-mailing Charles Johnson and accusing him of Homosexuality was quite lame;  Although, I will confess to taking part in some of that jesting myself on other blogs. Way I see it; I have been accused of the same thing myself and I was simply passing on the jesting that I have received myself to someone else.  I also now see that Mr. Johnson is unable to take a joke.

Having written the above, I will simply say this.  It really does not matter.  In fact, Charles Foster Johnson does not even matter any longer.  Johnson’s relevance came into question, when he turned against Pamela Geller.  Charles Johnson’s Blog came into its own, after he exposed some rather lame yellow journalism by Dan Rather’s Producer on a story about President George W. Bush’s Military service.  Other than that, Charles Johnson’s only other news worthy item is his Blogging against Islamic Jihad.  This, quite honestly, is not nearly as pointed as it once was.  In fact, there have been blog postings, which have been flagged by other Jewish Bloggers as pointedly Anti-Jewish.  I do not go as far as to say Anti-Semitic, as that is a bit of an extreme charge. However, I believe Anti-Israel, and possibly Anti-Jewish is a fair charge.

The reason why this really makes me laugh is that I have criticized others before; Andrew Sullivan, Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com, Stacy McCain, Michelle Malkin, and many others; have they blocked me from viewing their Blogs?  No, they have not.  Because they know that, a Blog is public website and to through the trouble to ban someone from actually viewing a blog is the epitome of lame.  In fact, I even considered doing the same thing, because of the attacks of the trolls on this site.  However, I figured that doing that sort of thing was an overreach power on my part.  My Blog is a public site and I believe everyone should be able to read it — Even if the readers do not agree — this is their personal right.  I believe in diversity of opinion, unlike some liberals, like Mr. Johnson.

In conclusion, I consider this a badge of honor.  It comes with the territory.  It reflects more on Mr. Johnson than it does me.  I pity the man; he has become his own island.  For that, he has become a much poorer man.

Excuse me, Mr. Delay? But, I have been unemployed since 2005 and it is not because I want to be. I never was eligible for benefits. I quit my last job, because it was making me physically sick. So, I had to quit. Thanks to your Party’s former candidate and now former President’s idea of going to war with Iraq and because of the Progressive policies, that both the Republicans AND Democrats embraced; the economy here in Michigan is in the damned toilet. That is why I am not working, not because I do not want to.

Can someone remind me, just why this idiot is not in jail? Anyone? 🙄

It is stuff like this right here, that makes me wonder if 2010 is going to be a lost cause. Because just how much more tone deaf and out of touch with reality does one need to be? Clue to the Republican Party; spouting stupid ignorant tripe like this, is NOT going to get us back in charge of Congress, not anytime soon anyway. I am quite sorry to have the say this, BUT! —-  There’s stupid and then there’s Tom Delay Stupid! 😮 I mean, this guy is starting to make Michele Bachmann look REAL smart. I saw this the other day on facebook and I resisted the urge to write about it. But I cannot stand silent no more.

I am referring to this, which comes via DailyMail in the U.K:

Actress Roseanne Barr has sparked controversy by claiming that Marie Osmond’s son killed himself because he was gay.

The sitcom star made the allegations on her blog, and said that Osmond’s Mormon faith was to blame for the 18-year-old’s death.

Michael Blosil, the singer’s adopted son, was found dead outside his Los Angeles apartment building last week.

Basically, this stupid bitch said this:

Barr writes: ‘Marie Osmond’s poor gay son killed himself. He had been told how wrong and how sick he was every day of his life by his church and the people in it. Calling that “depression” is a lie!

‘Yet the Osmonds still talk lovingly about their church, saying nothing about it’s extremely anti-gay crusade. Marie also has a gay daughter!

‘Hey I want her and all the gay kids in the world to know that they are just fine being gay and that they deserve love and respect instead of insults and rebuke!

‘I have gay people in my family and my circle of friends and I am kicking bigot a** and taking names!’

Barr, 57, who grew up among Mormons in Salt Lake City in Utah, also told the late teen: ‘If I had been your mom, I would have told you that some of the greatest and smartest and most artistic people who ever lived were gay.

‘I would have shielded you from bigots who tore at your soul, like the ones that unfortunately were closest to you.

‘To all the gay Mormon children out there in the world, I will be your mom! I love you.

Update #3: I just wanted to update this and say something about what I originally wrote. You most likely already know what I wrote, as you read it over at Barr’s site. First off, let me say this; what I was trying to say, in my not-so-politically correct way is, that Rosanne Barr simply does not deserve the fame and fortune that she has; the woman obviously is a “bomb thrower”, and it gets her the attention that she most desperately wants. To be absolutely clear, No one, and I mean absolutely no one at all deserves death or to be shot. I thought that would be quite obvious to anyone reading my blog. Unfortunately, Most liberals seem to be lacking that stuff found between one’s ears. (I mean, their brains.)  Roseanne’s fame period obviously has quite obviously past, which is evidenced by her comments about the Oscars; and now to garner attention to herself and her website, she makes outlandish comments, that is her shtick. I mean, even Bill O’Reilly at Fox News would not even report what Barr said, that is how bad it is. He also mentioned that she apologized. Which in my humble opinion is not enough, she should just go away. But, I don’t run the world, so, I cannot make her do this. I responded as a Conservative “bomb thrower” and now her fans want to turn me into the FBI and Police. Which is the epitome of hypocrisy, considering what liberals said and did to Sarah Palin, not that I am a fan of hers, but the point is still there and can be made. So, no, I do not wish Barr any harm at all. I just wish she would grow up or better yet, just go away.

Barr is a classic example of the elitist liberal mindset that is much prevalent in the Hollywood circles. Not to mention the rest of the liberal landscape.

It is a sad reminder of why I stopped voting for Democrats. I did not leave them, they left me. Just that simple.

Update: Barr links to me. Calls this Blog a “Christian” Blog. Which shows me, how stupid she really is. This is not, nor has it ever been a “Christian Blog” ever. I do admit to holding Christian beliefs. But I’ve never considered this blog a “Christian Blog” at all, ever. I do not sit here and preach at my readers, anyone with brains or has read here, knows this. But then again, we are talking about Roseanne Barr here. By the way, Roseanne, if you happen to read here again. My Mom used to be a fan, before you started acting like an moronic twit in public. Grow up and act your fucking age, bitch. Seriously. 🙄

Well, He did once…. and some asshole bitched about it; because I am a former lefty, that created my share of controversy when I was on that side of the fence.

It might also be because I happen to highly dislike that two-bit Faux-Conservative Jew that hosts his Blog too. I call him a Jew, not because I am a hater, anti-Semite or anything like that. I call him a Jew, because that is what the hell he is.

You know I try to ignore Fox’s favorite idiot pundit but his speech at CPAC keeps coming back to me. He’s gone beyond relatively harmless kooky conspiracy theories into actively, if subliminally, promoting violence again…What motivates this kind of talk and behavior is called eliminationism: a politics and a culture that shuns dialogue and the democratic exchange of ideas in favor of the pursuit of outright elimination of the opposing side, either through suppression, exile, and ejection, or extermination.

But the one that really, really blew me away was this one here:

As someone who has been studying far right bigotry for 17 years now, I listen to this compilation of Glenn Beck talking about “progressives,” and I hear the same bigotry used to smear Jews over the years – but instead now the word being used instead of “Jew” is “progressive.”

Wow….. Just….Wow…. 😮 I had thought that John Aravosis was a bit more smarter than that. I guess I was wrong. Which is living proof that Progressive Liberalism is a mental disorder and that Homosexuality is an altered mental state. Anyone who equates Glenn Beck’s hatred of the Progressive movement to Hitler’s madness is idiot, plain and simple. I believe Jews everywhere ought to be screaming from the rafters about this one. I know if I were a Jewish person, I would be! 😡 For the doubters, I can assure you that you will never hear Glenn Beck calling for Progressives to be gassed or burned alive in crematoriums. Voted out of office, perhaps. But nothing more than that.  Further more, Glenn Beck also distinguishes between your standard Democrat and Liberal; and the far left Progressives, or as I like to call them; Neo-Marxists.

Just more reasons why I will never vote for Democratic Party candidate, ever again. Because if this is what the Democratic Party voters and their candidates believe, than I want nothing to do with it. The Democratic Party is in fact the National representative of the Progressive movement, and if this is feeling of the Progressive Movement, that they somehow are the “New Jews”, then it is over for me. I could never support a party that is now going to don the oppressed hat. That is idiotic at best.

Further more, the very idea that Glenn Beck himself could even inspire anyone to commit acts of violence is quite preposterous. I sometimes watch Glenn Beck, and I have never been inspired to commit violence against anyone who disagrees with my politics. Otherwise, my own parents would be dead! 😉  The inconvenient truth is, anyone who actually goes out and attempts to or does actually kill someone or a group of people of whom their politics clash has something going wrong in the gray matter upstairs.  It is a fact, right after the story broke about Joe Stack, who crashed his plane into the IRS office in Texas, Glenn Beck denounced the man as a “Whack Job” and make it very clear that he did not support any kind of violence at all.

The fact is that the Neo-Marxist, Progressive left is now feeling the heat and are being backed into a corner and they are doing everything in their power now to lash out and discredit those who are against their agenda. Whether this is coming on orders from the White House or not, remains to be seen. In fact, these articles quoted reek of the desperation of the Progressive Left and we can look forward to this sort of thing, leading up to the November elections. The Progressives are scared and are worried that everything that they worked for, could go up in smoke. For freedom loving Americans like me, this is a very good thing. I would love to see jobs back in this State, but as long as Progressive politics is controlling Michigan, we will never see those jobs.

So, to Glenn Beck; Keep sticking it to these bastards. They are running scared and are now playing the victim card.

The daughter of the man who carried out a suicide plane attack against the IRS in Texas said today she considered her father a hero for standing up to “the system,” although she later back away from that statement.

Joe Stack’s daughter says father’s act was “inappropriate” but understandable.

“His last actions, the suicide, the catastrophe that caused injuries and death, that was wrong,” Samantha Bell, Stack’s daughter from his first marriage, told “Good Morning America” in a morning television exclusive telephone interview that aired today. “But if nobody comes out and speaks up on behalf of injustice, then nothing will ever be accomplished. But I do not agree with his last action with what he did. But I do agree about the government.”

When “Good Morning America” asked if she considered her father a “hero,” Bell, 38, said, “Yes, because now maybe people will listen.” Bell later called “Good Morning America” to retract her statement and say unequivocally that her father was “not a hero.”

Rather, she said the only hero involved in the attack was its victim, Vietnam veteran Vernon Hunter, the only person besides Stack killed in the attack.

“I don’t want to hurt anybody,” Bell said. “We are mourning for Vernon Hunter.”

State Delegate Bob Marshall of Manassas says disabled children are God's punishment to women who have aborted their first pregnancy.

He made that statement Thursday at a press conference to oppose state funding for Planned Parenthood.

“The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children,” said Marshall, a Republican.

“In the Old Testament, the first born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There’s a special punishment Christians would suggest.

It is one of the biggest annual gatherings of conservatives in Washington.  The yearly CPAC convention hosts everyone from Sen. Scott Brown to Mitt Romney.  Even former Vice-President Dick Cheney made a surprise appearance today.

The crowd was full of frustration towards President Obama and his administration, and the words “Tea Party” seemed to be flying out of every Republican’s mouth.  One big agenda item for the Republicans?  Galvanizing the youth vote.

And one of the people leading the youth charge is Stephen Baldwin.  One of the famous Baldwin brothers, Baldwin hosts a conservative radio show and has enlisted himself in the youth recruitment effort.  Baldwin told our Jonathan Karl that he blames Obama for the state of the country, but also prays for him.

“I am not happy about the way things are.  I pray for President Obama every single day.  But tell you what.  Homey made this bed, now he has got to lay in it,” said Baldwin.

Uh…. Um, I should have this under this heading here. But, I figured it could stand on its own. I mean, Homey? I think you can now guess why I did not attend CPAC. I mean, I am all for the defending of the Constitution, limited Government, and the defense of the Christian Faith. But what I am not for, is going to some Convention; where a bunch of wealthy and some not-so wealthy white people; sit around and bitch about the evil black socialist President. I give them credit, some of them nuance the racism, and do it very well; but most do not, and some do not even nuance it at all. This is one of worst examples of nuanced racism ever. Nothing says I have a problem with the black race better, than a pasty white guy calling a black man,”Homey”,  much less the President of the United States, who just happens to be black.

I will be honest with you, I do not like President Obama’s politics whatsoever. But I do respect the office. This is why you do not see me writing about stupid kooky conspiracy theories on here. I’ve done it in the past and got burned hardcore; after that I said that until the birthers can provide me some solid proof that Obama was not born here, other than the opinions or half-baked claims of some attention-whoring, black-hating, harpy Jew with an attitude; I just will not write about it anymore, period.  Anyhow, Orly Taitz aside; that is why I do not write about the nonsense. Because I respect the man’s office. Some cannot; but I can and do try to. That does not mean he is above criticism, because you know that I do that well. Although here as of late, he is scoring some brownie points with me on the Afghanistan war.

Anyhow, it just irked me, because both of these guys, especially the bug-eyed jack ass in the middle are supposedly Christians —- Evangelical Christians no less.  But yet, they make idiotic statements like this. You know see why I left the Evangelical circles for good. Because of ignorant crap like this. Which is, incidentally, forbidden by the Bible.

I have said this in the past and I will say it again. If the Republican Party thinks that embracing this sort of nuanced racism is going to do anything for them in the coming elections in 2010 and 2012, they had better think again. Because I will warn them; the American people are just much too smart for that and they will suffer in the coming elections. because I will tell you, that I WILL NOT VOTE for a party that embraces this sort of anti-black, nuanced racism. I will vote libertarian; I did it once and I will do it again. It is seriously time to get real folks, and this is not doing that at all.

UPDATED – In defense of the ‘OddBall’

First off, let me say that what happened at the University of Alabama was a horrible tragedy. This is why I have avoided blogging about this topic; as I did not want to be accused of politicizing the whole thing. I personally do not care what the woman’s politics were, the fact is that this woman ended up killing three people, people who were Husbands, Fathers, and friends to many. That, I feel, does transcend politics, and because of that, I basically shunned the subject.

However, I do feel the need to address one thing here. There is this story in the Boston Herald:

As authorities searched for clues into what could have sent a University of Alabama neurobiology professor on an alleged killing spree, friends and family yesterday described Braintree native Amy Bishop as an awkward introvert on the brink of losing her teaching job.

Bishop’s husband, James Anderson, told the Herald his wife had been fighting the university for over a year about a tenure denial, and several months ago received a final decision. She was upset, but not overly emotional, approaching her appeal “like a game of chess,” he said.

Police in Huntsville, Ala., charged Bishop, 44, with capital murder after she allegedly opened fire on six colleagues at a faculty meeting Friday, killing three. Afterward, she calmly called her husband and asked him to pick her up as if nothing had happened, said police Chief Henry Reyes.

“She was an oddball – just not very sociable,” said Sylvia Fluckiger, a former lab technician who worked with Bishop in 1993.

What bothers me is this; there is a narrative being played up here. That this woman was an ‘Oddball’. As someone who has been labeled an ‘Oddball’ in my lifetime. I find this to be very disconcerting. Yes, I have my quirks; I like to think of myself as a bit eccentric, but I am not a murderer. What this woman did was a act of a deranged killer and not just some overly educated ‘oddball’ eccentric. There is a difference, and I wish that the media would please point out that difference.

First it was people that were loners, and very quiet and kept to themselves. Now, they are going with the ‘Oddball’ characterization. Why is it that the police and other said authorities just cannot be content with just explaining that the woman was a cold-blooded killer and stop the personality characterizations? It is quite disgusting and it is totally unfair to those of us, who might to possess those qualities and may just be normal average people, who are not looking to inflict any sort of harm on anyone.
