BlogAds is an Anti-Conservative Owned Business

I haven’t had a good fight in a while, so, I decided to bring something up on this Blog.

Many of you know, that I use BlogAds on this Blog for Advertising. You’ll also notice that not many people have used the service for their advertising needs. I think I might have an idea why.

I was nosing around over on the official BlogsAds Blog and quite frankly, I was quite horrified to what is on that “Company Blog“. There is a great deal of Anti-Conservative, Pro-Obama screed over their Blog.

You can see examples of what I am referring to by going Here, Here, Here and Here.

What I find utterly amazing is the fact that Conservatives even use this service at all. I mean, I am part of the Conservative Hive on BlogAds.

My question is this, how is it, that Conservatives are using a Blog Advertising service who’s owner, (I presume that is who wrote those entries) partakes in the bashing the Republican Party and Conservative values in General?

Quite frankly, I’m sickened by what I read over on that Blog, the owner of BlogAds ought to ashamed of himself and should either remove the postings of Political Nature or close the business down, or at best only accept Liberal Advertising, because quite frankly, taking the money of Conservatives and bashing them on a Company website or Blog is totally hypocritical in this writers opinion.

I am almost sure that the owner of Blogads will most likely delete my account, as a result of bringing this to light. I am sure I will see an e-mail shortly tell me to get lost. But I will not pull this entry. Business owners who partake in this sort of Anti-Conservative rhetoric ought to be exposed and ran out of business.

  1. Pat, I’ve never met you – but I’ve met Henry on more than one occasion. To say your screed about BlogAds is silly would be an understatement. Your ad performance might have more to do with the fact that you’ve got 1,243 ad units across the page and generating about 170 unique visitors per day. I can personally attest to the fact that Henry and his company have helped hundreds of independent conservative blogs earn considerable revenue over the past 5 years. RedState couldn’t have grown as fast as it did without his help. Period.

I don’t really know Henry’s politics all that well. If I had to guess, I’d peg him as a libertarian-leaning free market guy that had just about enough of the bush years and found a lot to like about Obama – or at least plenty to not like about McCain. But that’s just a hunch.

    1. Well sir that is your opinion in the matter. But I happen to think otherwise. The man owns a business, he is taking money from Conservatives and Libertarians, all the while Bashing Sarah Palin and McCain on his company Blog. Doesn’t that strike anyone as overly hypocritical?

Does me. I stand by my original posting.

nice It’s nice to know that you can count of the Bush loving Neo-Cons! I would tell this guy what I really think about this, but I don’t need another Blog war.

  2. Hi. That is one reason you have not (nor will you ever) see any blogads on my blog. Come on, it is owned by google or some other nut. What can one expect? 😉

    1. Nope, it’s not run by Google, Rosemary. It’s run by a guy in the USA here, somewhere. Anyhow, I cannot believe people are ignoring the fact that a guy is actually getting away with this. I stand by it.

  3. Howdy Pat, I’d love for you to explain how my being troubled by Sarah Palin’s reading habits or the McCain campaign’s under-advised and under-vetted selection of its VP candidate makes me anti-conservative. Many many many many conservatives (and apparently most inside the McCain campaign) share my concerns. I’m middle of the road politically. I’m for lower taxes, better educational options for everybody, lower deficits, gun rights, literacy, better health-care options for 40 million Americans who can go bankrupt if they get sick, property rights, less government, personal accountability and autonomy. Is voting for McCain really your litmus test for true conservativism? If so, you’re going to have to excommunicate tens of millions of motivated conservatives. To be clear, I did vote for Obama: I agree with some of his ideas AND I concluded McCain is, as shown by his Palin pick and passive-aggressive grandstanding in the midst of the October financial meltdown, reckless. I think we can, as debate-loving, democracy-celebrating Americans, disagree about issues and candidates without being “anti” one movement or another. If anything, I’m anti-movement. I’m for great ideas and great people, not rigid dogmas and ideologues. Or to put it another way, I’m a member of a small floating party that disagrees with Benito Mussolini’s favorite maxim: “if you’re not with us, you’re against us.” And Pat, don’t worry about your account — you’re welcome to continue running Blogads.

    1. It just strikes me as abjectly hypocritical of someone who runs a business, to take money from Conservatives and then insult them on a Company Blog.

As for your feelings about Sarah Palin. She was smeared by a Liberal media with an agenda. Her campaign handlers did not help with their gross incompetence.

However, I will accept your explanation, but my feelings stand. and in this day of Conservatism being slaughtered by the Liberal media, one has NO CHOICE to be “You’re either with us or against us…”

  4. Hi Pat, I agree it would be hypocritical to insult people you like and do business with. More than hypocritical, it would be stupid. Please let me know where I’ve done this and I’ll try to redress my error, or at least explain my thinking. Henry

    1. You insulted Conservatives, when you made the postings that you made on your company blog.

If you cannot see this, then I am sorry. As with most Liberals, you can take them to the water, but you cannot make them drink.
